*Intro Post ~ Welcome to the chaos!*

Hallo! This blog is an Ace Attorney AU using the musical EPIC! Canon is our bitch and we do as we please :)

The blog is joint run by @weltato (hi) and @burtrice1. Feel free to ask us anything about this AU in the inbox and not DMs - PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A WIP AU AND IS CONSTANTLY BEING THOUGHT OUT!!

The "backstory" I suppose would be that Wel was watching a great guy on YouTube by the name of Mortius (you should check him out, he's cool) react to "We'll Be Fine" and "Love in Paradise" from the most recent saga released from EPIC as of writing this (20/09/2024) - The Wisdom Saga. Wel had also been binging through some Ace Attorney streams by The NyanCave (also really cool, you should check them out too) and had that on the brain at the same time. Then she noticed something interesting - Odysseus had been on Calypso's Island for seven years.

You wanna know who else had a seven year gap? Phoenix Wright.

So obviously, I go to burtrice1 and say:

Anyway, we had some planning to do: there is currently a list of characters from The Ace Attorney Trilogy, Ace Attorney: Investigations 1 & 2 (we're using the fan translation names in this house), and Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice (because Wel hasn't finished Dual Destinies and hasn't seen Spirit of Justice yet) and what people from EPIC they're going in as.

Hi I'm thinking about writing a h2g2 and gravity falls crossover fic. I saw your post awhile ago and I was wondering if you had any idea on how the two fords would interact.

Hm, I haven't properly watched Gravity Falls in a while (I KNOW IM SORRY), but comparing their personalities from what i know they have a couple similarities and differences.

For first interactions I'm not entirely sure how or where, neither of them are naturally social but if someone were to start a conversation it would be Prefect, and once they realize they're both named Ford P. they'd hit off perfectly.

I think they'd love to go out for a small drink and talk about their outlooks on life, about space, their own traumas and relationships, about their research and studies with their respective books (Pines to the Journals, and Prefect to the Guide), and about their plans for future. This interaction could also be a lot funnier depending on the tone you wanted to take.

Ooooh they could also rant about their annoying family members (Zaphod and Stan)

They would also engage in an epic game of Dungeons & More Dungeons no doubt

Delta my good friend Delta… he is my gay little beast of a fursona. He is like me in some ways, and not like me in others. He’s sort of like, an exaggerated version of me, and drizzled with a bit of wish fulfillment. I made him as my first fursona in 2016, and he has been my sona ever since.

Delta is very. Silly and chaotic. He’s a poor little meow meow. Around his friends he is very energetic and chatty, but quite shy around people he doesn’t know. He’s a bit of a drama queen and is very very emotional. He cries a lot, and not just when he’s sad.

He likes to act like he’s really cool and put together, but he’s not. Like at all. Big loser (affectionate). He’s a big dummy but he’s also very wise. It depends on the situation. He can’t do math to save his fucking life and sometimes he forgets basic information but he also loves media analysis and is pretty damn good at it. Very clumsy as well, he trips over his own two feet a lot.

He’s really really really passionate about his interests and the things he cares about. If you get him started talking abt something he likes, like ace attorney or whatever, he will not shut up for hours (<- can you tell this part is very heavily based on me). He loves talking w his friends, and he also loves bitching and complaining with his friends. He can be a bit snarky, sarcastic, and bitchy, but would never intentionally hurt someone’s feelings.

He’s pretty funny and people like to spend time with him… he gives good advice and likes to help people as much as he can. Delta is very empathetic and understanding of just about everyone, even people he doesn’t like. While it has its benefits, it’s also gotten him in trouble before, bc it means he doesn’t like starting shit w people bc he understands where they’re coming from. That being said, he’s stubborn as FUCK, and once he’s made up his mind about something, it’s very hard to change his mind. When he feels strongly about something, he doesn’t hesitate to make his feelings known, even if no one else agrees with him.

kuroo literally had to drag him out the house and kenma did NOT come out without a fight (literally clawing at the walls bro did NOT want to be at that festival)

he was given animal ears as his costume but he’s rocking sweats

complains all night

eventually gets someone to give him a ride on their back while he plays his game

his mood drastically lightens when kuroo brings him a slice of apple pie

takes the ugliest pictures of his friends when they’re caught off guard and randomly sends it to their groupchat later on

tries to be scary but ends up going as chucky (yk that doll with the red hair)

literally chases his teammates around and scares them all night

pulls the best pranks like someone def ended up pissing their pants (it was probably goshiki)

also tells scary stories, while shirabu is picking at holes in the plot of his story 😭

it's very endearing

always says i love you verbally ! he feels bad he can’t offer words of affirmation directly to you so he spent a lot of time finding safe words he can say. you do have to gamble whenever he sends a voice message though… will it be a cute i love you or will it be him trying to get you to come back to him ? either way it’s <3

literally no one knew you guys were together for a while because you both were naturally close (and he’s really good at hiding it if he wants to) but after you told everyone? prepare to be sick of him

clingy in a cute way so you guys spend almost all your free time together (even if it’s just sitting in the same room)

• I love the idea that he calls them whiskers the most out of the three.

quickly becoming Asa’s favourite in the collection and delving into a romantic relationship means you have extra freedom and perks compared to other unwilling guests. Avoiding punishment is not one of them.

Submission is non negotiable, you will serve him as your god and that’s final. Punishment hopefully won’t come to you often if you behave well enough but when it does it’s unavoidable.

Talking back and being bratty? You won’t be using that mouth at all for the next day/days, either spending hours gagged and drooling or only being allowed to speak when spoken to by your master. If you slip up and speak out of turn then an extra hour will be added to the punishment.

You can try plead your way out of it or run away but it’s futile, either you go on your own accord or your going slung over Asa’s shoulder with a red ass.

When it comes to punishments you’re done when Asa says you are. You can cry and beg all you want, that’s not his problem, if anything it fills him with sick delight. Aww it hurts? Good. That’s what disobedient toys who don’t know their place get. You have to learn somehow.

You’re left messy and worn out, floating gently in Subspace as sir cleans you up. He’ll cup your exhausted and red face, cooing at the hazy look in your eyes as he cleans your face from tears with a clean warm towel.

Once you’re clean and probably in one of his turtlenecks he’ll give you a water bottle or juice, helping you hold it up to your lips until he thinks you’ve had enough. He’ll also feed you some soft fruits or easy to eat snacks. He never used to be this soft until you entered the picture, digging out your own special spot in his cruel heart.

You’re always clingier than usual like this, still floating along the waves of Subspace and uncaring if you make a fool of yourself. Feeling vulnerable you cling to the only thing you know. Slowly scooting closer and closer to Asa thinking your being subtle (he knew the first time you got closer but finds it amusing so let’s you continue under the guise your being sneaky)until your laying against his side. “Silly pet” he laughs, petting your head affectionately.

Usually you’re a little more timid with your affection towards Asa but after a punishment you can’t find it in yourself to care, getting worked up and upset the longer you let your feelings fester without resolve.

Sometimes you’ll seem fine and stable but hours later Asa will find you curled up outside his door, sobbing and shaking. Needing to be close to your master but too nervous and distraught to take the final step of knocking and interrupting his work. You’re so worried he’ll be angry at you getting in the way of his work and will punish you for being too needy as a result of it (he would never, you’re just distraught and irrational rn lol) you knew you should’ve asked for more reassurance after today’s punishment but you thought you could pull through.

Asa opens the door and sighs, eyes wracking over your pitiful state. Without any words spoken he’ll scoop you up from your spot on the floor and move you both back to his desk, sitting your chest against his and your head on his shoulder. He’ll continue his work as he rocks you both slowly, humming until your tears stop and your head starts to droop more.

Being close with him like this always lets you know that you’ve been forgiven and the punishment is over. He still loves you and you’re still his favourite, his pretty little cricket.

He doesn't really find your interest bothersome just more of a "If you have any questions ask Jade." type of deal.

Although he'd be really thrown off if you suddenly wanted to start talking about Octopusses.

If you start ranting he would gladly listen to what information you have (and maybe make a contract so he can find information he doesn't have). He could also use this time to get blackmail unless it's something he already knows.

In a romantic sense, I feel he'd be a little upset and insecure if you talk about Moray Eels constantly. (SHOW HIM SOME LOVE TO SMH)

Overall is not really bothered but will exploit your information as blackmail.

Jade

He finds your interest in Moray eels adorable. He tries to answer any questions you may have he will tease you a little bit about your interest, but in return, you listen to him talk about mushrooms (Think of it as an information exchange). If you ask to see his eel form he'd be like "Oh? you wish to see my eel form?" he'd show you it since you asked nicely but would also give you a water-breathing potion so you can explore whatever body of water Octavinelle has.

I can imagine if you ask a myth about eels and he debunks It "Erm actually 🤓☝️" (joke)

Depending on Floyd's mood he will either be impressed and intrigued or annoyed.

So it's a 50/50 if you wanna ask questions. (Very helpful Floyd)

Although when you do have questions he'd either send you to Jade or drag you to the Octavinelle equivalent of an ocean. If you complain about clothes getting wet or the water being cold he'd be like, "Whaat? You asked."

If he's in a bad mood he would probably shoo you away or make some lie up leaving you to go find Jade.

Lilia finds your interest amuzing. If he knows any information he'll give it to you if you ask nicely if he doesn't then he will help you get information by either going to Jade or reading about it via online or the library books.

He would gladly listen to your rants and whatever information you have to share he may even teach you a thing or two about Fae's.

Imagine him playing the Overwatch or Valorant equivalent (We are not a Fortnite household) clacking away on his keyboard while listening to you talk about how Moray Eels have poor eyesight so they need their nose (They have really good noses btw) to help them navigate.

And then it causes questions as to why Jade and Floyd aren't wearing glasses on land.
