It must be so fucking weird for Bruce and Oliver to be on the Justice League. Like here they are with a bunch of metahumans, aliens, wizards and gods and shit, and they’re literally just Two Dudes. I bet they side-eye the fuck out of each other during League meetings bc like what the actual fuck? how can this be my problem? I’m going to the chiropractor after this?

Ok, so, you know that a lot of the times Lex (when he HAD hair) is a red head, or at least was.
Now, Kon is like and half Clone, because he's got bot Superman and Lex Luthor DNA, so technically he got the redhead gene.
After this premesis let's talk about Tim clone problem and Timkon clone baby. So Tim mixed his DNA with the one of Kon and ended up in a baby. Usually in fics the baby ends up resembling Tim or Kon or both of them, so with Black hair and blue eyes and all, what if the baby ended up resembling both Lex and Janet Drake, so with Lex red hair and Janet eyes, and for face a mixture of both Kon and Tim?
What if the Timkon clone baby was a redhead?

Sua wanted to protect Mizi’s “innocence,” but with the new comics that have been released, it’s become clear that Mizi wasn’t naive about how she’s viewed societally or about the Alien Stage competition itself; what she was naive about was believing she could have some control over her circumstances and over how she is perceived while in the position she was in. That's the innocence Sua wanted her to hold onto for as long as possible.
Sua lets Mizi have control over her—lets her take the lead when it comes to their relationship and feeds into Mizi’s desire for control over her life. Mizi could “crush” her, but she doesn’t, and when Mizi’s emotions do get the best of her, she’s horrified and regretful, knowing that what she did was wrong because she truly loves Sua and doesn’t want to see her hurt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sua knows that the bubble that they’ve formed for themselves is the only real place Mizi can have control, because try as she might to live a life the way she wants, Mizi can’t truly change how others see her. Mizi being a kind and joyful person isn’t a lie, but the problem comes with the fact that she’s a people pleaser and tries to keep up that part of herself even when she’s uncomfortable or upset. She tries to skirt around and act oblivious in situations where she knows she could hurt others' feelings because there's a chance that they will hurt her when her wants don’t align with theirs.
Mizi wants others to like her and to be her friend, but the only person she wants romantically is Sua. If she ignores the feelings that the men around her have for her, then hopefully they’ll sort themselves out and everyone will be fine in the end, right? "Please don't confront me, please don't feel entitled to me. I don't want either of us to get hurt."
Even after that unnamed boy physically harms and accuses her of being a manipulator, Mizi gives him the benefit of the doubt. She doesn't want to hurt anyone in any way; she never tried to lead anyone on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back then, even before Alien Stage, she felt guilty because she believed this idea of herself that she presented in order to hide her true feelings, a happy-go-lucky and carefree girl, was the reason that others resented her, idolized her, or thought of her so shallowly. She thought that the control she believed she had was what caused others to see and act the way they did to her.
Mizi hiding her “bad” emotions probably did affect how she was perceived a bit, but even if she didn't, would it have mattered? As previously said, she didn’t completely hide away who she truly was; she just played up the part of herself that she knew others liked. Her being completely transparent about everything wouldn’t have stopped some of the men around her from feeling as though she owed them something just because she was a woman; it wouldn’t have stopped people from resenting her for “having it easy.”
Mizi knows what society expects of her but still wants to feel as though she has control, so when she is harmed by societal values and expectations such as heteronormativity, she believes it’s her fault to some extent despite being disgusted with them herself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This finally leads us to the Alien Stage competition itself. Surely she and Sua can make history with a tie, surely she can control how this ends, and their performance can convince the audience to let them move forward together. Guardian Shine and her family may have not understood her, but as long as she’s loved by her peers, she knows she will survive. She and Sua will show them their love, and they will be loved by them in turn. They are going to make it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sua knows better, though. She’s let Mizi have control over her for as long as possible—has let her take the lead for as long as possible. She knows that individually they cannot change the hearts of those that subjugate them, that the audience's love for them will not save them. So she takes the control that she’s granted Mizi back, one of them has to die and Sua’s making sure it’s herself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(translation by: sorrowcure)
Mizi wants to have control, so her survivor's guilt tries to convince her that she always was the one in control and accuses her that this is what she wanted. She feels as though she can only blame herself for what's happened to those around her.

DP X DC PROMPT #28
(#) = Notes at the end of post
Chartreuse
Due to the high levels of ambient ectoplasm, all the citizens of Amity Park gained a permanent change in eye color. They don't glow or flare in response to rampant emotions like true ghosts or the halfas though. They're just an unnaturally bright yellow-green.
The thing is, nobody else on Earth has this eye color, and it's never been seen in the human race until the recently graduated Amity Parkers started branching out to other cities to find jobs.
Nobody paid this any mind at first, though. Many just thought the individuals liked strangely colored contacts or it was a trick of the light. It's not until Danny and Tucker are both hired for positions in Wayne Enterprises that questions start popping up.
At first, the other employees thought the two might be related. It could happen, it's not that strange. However, when both of them said they're nowhere near related, just childhood best friends, it left everyone confused. If they aren't related and they aren't wearing colored contacts, then what are the odds of too completely unrelated people having the exact same strange and unseen eye color?
After a while, everyone just stops asking questions. After all, both men are easy to get along with and are excellent at their jobs, so a strange eye color isn't really something to complain about. Their stares were just a bit more intense than most people, and honestly, they've seen stranger things.
It helps that they've started seeing other people with the same eye color popping up in celebrity, sports, and activist circles. (1)
However, It's not until the power goes out during a late meeting/presentation, and Tim Drake accidentally turns on and shines his cell phone light into Tuckers eyes, that he starts seriously digging.
Needless to say, the animal-like green shine of his pupils scared the shit out of him and got him wondering if two of his new employees were part of a previously unknown alien race that'd recently settled on Earth without anyone noticing. When he looks into the middle of nowhere town they came from, this idea is even further cemented when he sees every person he finds a photo of have the exact same shade of chartreuse eyes. Ignoring the ghost rumors and "sightings" as just a strange tourist trap for the strange little town to make extra income, he brings the info he found to the other bats and birds.
They aren't exactly welcomed when they go snooping around Amity Park, unfortunately... (2 & 3)
Now. To make this a bit more cracky, when confronted, do Danny and Tucker just come clean or do they milk the idea of them being aliens for all it's worth? (4) Add in a few strange, but perfectly normal for them, things they do that have people scratching their heads and make the assumption even worse/more irrefutable. This includes the unexplainable eye shine Tim discovered.
(1) Paulina became a supermodel and is coveted for her striking eye color and beautiful complexion. Dash became a coach for a well known college in Metropolis, while Kwan became a fitness trainer and sponsor for health related items that actually work, also partnered with the college Dash coaches at. Sam became a notorious environmental activist and is the enemy of many companys who are determined to turn the world into a toxic wasteland. With the help of Danny's parents, she's found many eco-friendly chemical compounds that dissolve many of the toxic substances damaging ecosystems around the world. Etc, etc.
(2) Ectoplasm exposure has made everyone a bit more territorial over the town, including their protectors. They don't need outside heroes/organizations interfering with their work and don't/won't take kindly to the sudden interest hero organizations gain over them and their strange little town. That hasn't worked out too well with other government sanctioned organizations in the past and they don't want a repeat, thank you.
(3) Maybe Team Phantom even established themselves right around the same time or even before the Justice League was formed and they just flew under the radar until now. Maybe Amity Parkers feel a bit superior due to their seniority in having an excellent team in the know about the supernatural/non-human side of the world/universe? Who knows? You pick! Amity Park has been through a lot by themselves, so it's no shocker if they have an extreme amount of solidarity towards those they call their own.
(3 cont'd) Also! Since Amity Park has become so rich and saturated in ectoplasm over the years, they were eventually annexed/became an outside part of the Ghost Zone. Jack and Maddy are border patrol and any ghosts coming through need a passport now. Amity Park is basically a vacation hub for ghosts? Ghosts can freely roam the streets, they just don't wreak havoc anymore. That'd basically be terrorizing their fellow citizens at this point anyway and that's a no no. That means jail time with Walker. Amity Parkers also aren't afraid anymore and in fact CAN hit back now. This does not stop the Bat Clan and eventually the Justice League from thinking they're a town full of aliens tho. Some are just more human looking than others. Or they've been on Earth and procreating long enough with humans that their hybrid offspring have also started looking more human, is the ongoing conclusion.
(4) The Anti-Ecto Acts are not an issue here! Team Phantom already dismantled and annihilated the GIW years before they even thought of leaving Amity Park on its own. Before graduating highschool even. Yes, Team Phantom is perfectly self-sufficient and able to handle their own problems and have kept the city-wide ghost infestation pretty isolated outside a few events that were handled quickly and with the world none the wiser. So the world is still pretty ignorant of the existence of ghosts/the Ghost Zone. Would Team Phantom and Amity Park prefer to keep it that way though?

I like the aspect of Mizi and Sua's dynamic that delves a lot into miscommunication and some parts of jealousy, because Sua's also a bit of a baby about communicating her feelings, Mizi almost fully relies on her to let her know because she's indifferent to her environment, socially unaware and doesn't seem to notice why Sua's upset, and that's because Sua's gripes are entirely a product of her own jealousy, insecurity, and irritation/ or rather exasperation at Mizi not being able to figure it out on her own, even though she's not not meeting her halfway. She doesn't want Mizi to think the worst of her. Even though she confides in Mizi, that's why I don't think she tells Mizi about those feelings as openly, but in general, she doesn't want to ruin that cloud of obliviousness with anything. But alas, Sua can get very petty. Mizi's still the meanie for allowing Till to play with them, not realizing how he looks at her like Sua does, and she's still a dummy for being so dense, even though she's earnestly trying to see what Sua's so upset about...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sua's common instances of jealousy come from her possessive and obsessive instinct, and importantly, her mistrust of the boys, mostly stemming from how she doesn't want to lose Mizi to anything- at heart, she wants Mizi to be with just her to ensure that Mizi is unchanged and always safe. They can change her if she's influenced by them too much, but Mizi is all too trusting and too kind, especially of Ivan and Till, who are kind to her
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I also think Sua doesn't communicate because she's sensitive and can't put it into words, she also can't because she fears it blowing up in her face if she appears unreasonable or something of the sort, she fears feeling hurt or feeling like something will wedge a noticeable gap between her and Mizi that she can't control, her protectiveness over Mizi's dreams and naivety keeps their emotional vulnerability limited from being fully open to each other already, but conflict, albeit inevitable because Sua is delicate, it would hurt her. (in that sense, it's strangely counterintuitive of her. but I can also see it as her being immature, sometimes it just can't be helped ) so she's practically the embodiment of clenching her fist from behind a tree where you can't see her with tears in her eyes because she wants to explode you with her mind, but is too non-confrontational/ stonewalling

wdym bruce’s new love interest is his parents’ killer’s daughter nah they better bring back selina
how unoriginal do they have to be to continue to bring out characters that are secretly tied to the murderers of their parents. like how many fucking characters were at the circus that night the Graysons were murdered??? and doesn't Dick have a sister that was Zucco's daughter FOR SOME FUCKING REASON???? and now this??? BE ORIGINAL DEAR GOD. if i have to read Bruce dating anyone but Selina (or my headcanon ships) then give me a new character that isn't tied to all of that? I think it'd be interesting if Bruce dated a civilian that he (and everyone else) expected to last like 3 weeks at most but Bruce actually ends up liking them a lot and they stick around a few months before everyone is like "Wait Bruce what????? what???" and Bruce is like "I don't know they're nice..." Even better if this civilian doesn't have any twists like "and they were a new villain all along!" shit I mean I want a completely regular person who is clever enough to keep up with Bruce and the others for the most part, but doesn't get involved in the Batman stuff (though they do figure it out eventually). i think it'd be an interesting dynamic that i don't believe Bruce has been put in yet

God people are so Loudly wrong about hyuna... she is shown to us as the face of the rebellion, the 'essence' of humanity, she is love and compassion and defiance and everything that perseveres, she feels so strongly and cares so much for the people she loves. and yes, like all of the other characters, a byproduct of the way they were raised is how messy and complicated their relationships with other humans are like. the character dynamics in alnst shouldn't be painted solely black or white. but still, above all, her love for humanity, for her friends, for luka is what perseveres. of course, in the end, thats how she dies- protecting someone she loves. On her own terms.
Tumblr media
tldr stop painting her as just like. "angry brown woman" or "victim of luka" both of those do such a disservice to her character
