Ok, so, you know that a lot of the times Lex (when he HAD hair) is a red head, or at least was.

Now, Kon is like and half Clone, because he's got bot Superman and Lex Luthor DNA, so technically he got the redhead gene.

After this premesis let's talk about Tim clone problem and Timkon clone baby. So Tim mixed his DNA with the one of Kon and ended up in a baby. Usually in fics the baby ends up resembling Tim or Kon or both of them, so with Black hair and blue eyes and all, what if the baby ended up resembling both Lex and Janet Drake, so with Lex red hair and Janet eyes, and for face a mixture of both Kon and Tim?

What if the Timkon clone baby was a redhead?

I want a Timkon ex-boyfriends AU in which they mutually broke up because their hero jobs always came as a priority, and they slowly but steadily neglected their love.

However, they also mutually didn't move on from their break-up. It occurred that, just a few months after they fell apart, they inevitably gravitated towards each other and tumbled into bed again. From then on, they decided that, well, they could be friends with benefits. There would be no commitment and responsibilities as it would if they dated, but they could still hold each other like they both craved. Tim could get railed through the mattress like there was no tomorrow just like he loves to, and Kon could go back to his favorite sport of ruining Tim until he couldn't even think.

They just didn't expect they would also be mutually pining for each other during the afterward cuddles.

So what I'm saying is: timkon agreeing to be fuckbuddies because they desperately want to be together but are too scared of losing each other if they date and it goes wrong, only for both of them to grow even more miserable because they can still fuck but can't go back to loving each other :(

imagine the brooding, intimidating Batman fighting criminals in the street when he hears this special ringtone in the comms and they're for specific people: his grandkids.

he has to hide in the shadows and goes Grandpa mode, clears his throat and coos lovingly to the comms to talk them.

Nightwing: Oh, he's cooing again.

Red Hood: Lian must have called and asked for more fruit loops.

Red Robin: My baby must have dialed, he likes his grandpa's voice.

The rest of the batkids: WHAT BABY?????

the batkids curse in different languages, confused and shocked.

when some of the rogues or criminals hear Batman in his Grandpa mode, they think he's gone soft.

nope. he's more determined, more restless, more protective, so he won't stop unless they're in Akrham or in jail.

but it's worth it when he comes home to little kids, who are excited to see him.

As I am still in timkon hell, I have decided to take a jab at another popular au for them, the clone baby au.

And boy do I have ideas:

First off, the idea is Tim tried to clone Kon like 99 times and on the 100th try it failed again, so he had this wild idea to combine some of his DNA with Kon's. He like left some variables undecided like gender, and such. Cue the clone baby.

She's a perfect blend of the two, having Kon's skin tone and wavy-curly black locks. She has Tim's eyes and though still young she's definitely going to have Tim's features when she's older. She's perfect.

He names her Nova, Nova Drake. (Later on a common nickname he gives her is Supernova, which I think is flippin' adorable)

And then realization sets in and he's like, "ah fuckkkk." Because he just made a baby with his own DNA mixed with Kon's and he's like barely an adult and now he's responsible for a tiny being that he literally created.

At this point in time he's not Robin, Batman is "dead", but Tim knows he is alive (we will come back to that point later) andddd he's basically jobless.

So he like, panics and calls Cass. Cass is there so fast. She even brings Steph, and for once, Steph stays quiet. They just, sit down and tell him it's going to be okay.

In this au Kon comes back a few years later, probably around the time Nova is 4-ish. Things have, healed up with Tim and his relationship with the Batfam.

Nobody knows his secret identity, it's better that way so he can keep Nova a secret from the rest of the supers. The only people who know are the Batfam, who literally adore Nova to pieces. She is the little lady of the house and is treated as such.

Alfred takes care of Nova when Tim has to be Red Robin. And Barbara even steps in to help too at times.

Steph, Barbara and Cass are the best aunts. And Dick, Jason and Damian fight over who's her favourite uncle. Duke just smiles cause Nova said it was him while he was playing with her one time and told him not to tell the others because it'd make them sad.

Bruce is overwhelmed at first, cause holy shit Tim you did what and now there's a baby made with not only your DNA, but your dead best friends' too? He's a little stressed, but eventually gets over it and begins to treat her like his own granddaughter. He definitely spoils the crap outta her.

Nova starts to exhibit signs of Kryptonian powers, the most notable being Kon's tactile kinesis.

Nova once asked her daddy where her other parent was. Tim explained he had gone away to somewhere they couldn't follow. Nova, though unhappy at the answer, accepted it and just never asked again. She's definitely starting to also exhibit Tim's genius level intellect.

Anyways, Kon comes back. It's unexpected. Tim isn't prepared for it because a) he made peace with Kon being dead, and b) he literally saw him die. Turns out, he wasn't. And whomever finds Kon alive just shows everybody at the watchtower and Tim literally almost has a panic attack right then there. He's able to get out of there, although with a flimsy excuse which nobody buys.

He makes it back to the manor where he is found by Dick, curled up underneath the computer desk in the Batcave. Dick walks him through his panic attack, and then Tim explains what happened.

And that's as far as I've gotten but this was inspired by the fact that I was like, Tim and Kon are so girl dad coded it HURTS ME. Also, the whole timeline/universe is just a jumble of things I picked that I figured would fit in with my idea. So yeah. Remember kids, DC stands for, "Disregard Canon", and will run with that until the day I die.

theres three wolves inside me. the first thinks kon is the coffee drinker in the timkon relationship (while tim's caffeine-fix of choice is energy drinks). the second thinks they're both the coffee drinkers and when you go over to their place you'll find 3-5 different coffee machines on the counter, and also just a full-on cafe set-up for when kon has the time & energy. the third thinks they're both coffee drinkers but tim Does Not Care about the coffee, only the caffeine, and this is a source of conflict because kon very much Does Care about the coffee and dies a little inside every time he has to so much as smell tim's shitty instant coffee.

thinking timkon clone baby brainrot again, vry generic start about how inspite of kon’s original thoughts on tim making a clone of him, when he sees the baby , he has clarity and immediately loves him.

okay, but kon taking the baby out on excursions w tim n introducing the baby to every little thing, like how new parents do. showing the baby all of the wonderful things he wished he was introduced to when he first left. like the feeling of sand between your toes, chasing waves, or just looking at fish in the aquarium or animals at the zoo.

his eyes has small lines whenever the baby babbles or cackles showing interest in the thing that kon shows. kon falls in love w fatherhood but he is still so new to everything. it’s tim who soothes the baby, puts sunscreen on, makes sure the baby is wearing a hat, he trails behind kon’s excitement but ofc that doesn’t mean he doesn’t share the same happiness. it was rlly difficult originally now but he is happy to have his baby and Kon at the same times

tdlr: new dad kon gets overly excited to show baby new things and tim is just glad to see them both together having a ball of a time, sometimes reminding kon to give the baby a break from the excitement or watching out of the baby generally speaking.

hmmm... halfbaked thought percolating in my mind but i gotta say. sometimes i do get kinda skeeved out when people do genderfluid tim wrt timkon while leaving kon as just a generic cis guy. like obviously i love timkon and i love trans tims!!! but sometimes i just go are we sure we're not just slapping on a trans label in order to put the shorter, physically weaker, (and often drawn paler) guy in a dress so he can be The Girl in the relationship? like are we sure this is actually about being trans and not just about gender roles again? and like obviously i cant say every single genderfluid tim wrt timkon post is doing this specifically but it does sometimes make me go eeehhhh... (a lot of the way fandom treats trans guys in general as women lite™ is this same way tbh.) sigh...

SO. i'm making a fic. timkon. cries.

there's sooooo much discourse everywhere about tim's characterization, and from what i've gathered, his fanon and canon interpretations are incredibly polarizing to fans. i'd love to grab ur guys' hcs for the fics i'm writing, since i want them to be appreciated by as wide of an audience as i can T^T here are some of mine !!

tim struggles with insomnia. fluctuates from mild and severe, but certainly isn't helped by his occasional caffeine intake.

he is NOT addicted to caffeine- but indulges in it sometimes when there's a case that's particularly tough to crack. not an addiction though.

i do see him as a recovering nicotine consumer. it used to help him cope with the sting of loneliness. doesn't anymore, as the looming threat of lung problems would probably throw a wrench into his vigilantism.

alcohol he consumes when needed for socialization, but otherwise stays off. he says it dulls his intellect. not a very big fan.

is smug menace, and is mostly unapologetic about it. he's the type to live by FAFO.

looks eerily similar to cassandra; build, height, and mannerisms wise. he's obviously less stealthy, but is still comparable.

An headcanon that I have about the Batboys:

Jason and Dick have a thing for redheads, and this is true both in fanon and canon,

some of Jason love interest in canon are: Barbara (yes, for some reason that is canon in some dc universe) and Artemis (the Amazon from outlaws). And in fanon: Roy and Koriand'r All of them are redheads

now Dick, in canon: Koriand'r and Barbara (again). In fanon: Wally Still, all of them redheads

so yeah, the first to robins have a thing for redheads, but the third and fourth (beacuse Steph is more like robin 3.5) have a thing for Kryptonians... let me explain

romantically in fandom, and in frienship in canon, Tim has Kon, and Damian has Jon and the fact that dc gave Jon a boyfriend, and the same goes to Tim, but that boyfriend isn't their bat/supes counterpart...

so yeah, this is my headcanon do what you want with it

What made me ship it?

When I first got into DC (Tim Drake) the only Tim ship I was really aware of was timkon due to its immense popularity. I ended up really liking it (and still do!) but every now and then I'd see posts of people dunking on timber (mainly because they were bitter abt Tim not ending up with Kon). I decided to look into the ship more to see if it was really as bad as people made it out to be

And next thing I new I had a new favourite ship and favourite character lol (Bernard Dowd they could never make me hate you)

2. What are your favourite things about the ship?

There are so many thing I love about them. But I think one thing that doesn't get talked about enough was how Bernard knew Tim before he knew Robin. Yes technically Tim was still Robin when they first met, but that got upturned relatively quickly and I think they spent more time together without Tim having Robin then vice versa. So many people in Tims life that he's close with knew the mask a while before they knew him (which is a fascinating relationship in itself) and E grieves is one of the few times we see Tim without any sort of mantle. I think that there's something special about the fact that Tim, with all his identity and attachment issues around his superhero identity, ended up with one of the few people who knew him (even for a short while) as just Tim Drake.

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

The fact that they have less content then other ships that have been around for decades longer is enjoyable. It means you get to fill in the blanks

I feel like with ships that have been around for so long there's less room for ambiguity to fill up. Everything is already there for you, which is fun don't get me wrong! But having the freedom to be creative and come up with ideas in a way you couldn't otherwise is part of the fun
