Texture: You get like 5 different foods every bite. This is not balanced. There is no harmony. This sandwich is the embodiment of disorder and chaos. 1/5

Would Chunk Eat It?: He would eat maybe 1/50th of it. So no. 1/5
Final Score: 2/5
Critic’s Notes: Why would you waste this much food. Just host a party. Donate it. Something fucking anything I am begging at this point.

Special Dinner
I had such a good day today!! Both my heart and stomach are very full.
One of my coworkers invited me to dinner with his wife- we had planned for 6 PM today. Later in the afternoon, I got a call from one of my other coworkers, who also invited me to dinner with one of his friends. Since the second coworker and his friend didn't have a place in mind, I invited them to the first dinner. Unfortunately they couldn't make it in time, but we all met up at a boba shop after and had a a lot of fun chatting, playing card games, and hanging out there.
The restaurant is one of my favorite Taiwanese spots that recently opened!! I was nervous since my friends have high standards for food and the guy is Taiwanese himself, but they were both very impressed by the meal. I know a place I picked is good whenever that friend tells me he's going to take his parents there. So far, three of the spots I've picked have received that distinction, so I'm very proud :'D I'm glad my friends look to me for food recommendations a lot- I never considered myself much of a foodie or anything but it's nice to have my opinions regarded so highly.
I was craving both fried chicken and hot pot, and today's meal had both, so it felt like we killed two birds with one stone. Warm soup is the most delicious during the colder months!!
I felt very grateful when my friends ordered the combination fried rice without pork, double checked with the server, and also taste tested before giving me the okay. I felt so loved!! They didn't have to do that for me but they did ;w;
The boba shop is a very cute place that also just opened, and it's across from the restaurant so we just walked across the parking lot. Our other friends met us there and we got some drinks as well as some samples from the cashiers. Coworker's wife and I had never played Uno before, but everyone else patiently taught us how to play. It was a lot of fun!! I'm happy I got to spend time with everyone.
We ordered salted egg fried chicken wings, curry hot pot, combination fried rice, garlic string beans, beef rolls, and beef noodle soup. Everything was so tasty, but the wings are always my favorite!!

Foods rich in Iron
Iron: a dietary analysis
This is a guide to the nutrient known as Iron, for all my fellow menstruaters, or people who are low in iron. I did this research while trying to remember iron rich foods, so hopefully it helps someone else.
Iron, as mentioned previously, is a nutrient. It comes from the diet and is necessary for many bodily functions, including the development of haemoglobin (the molecule that carries oxygen in your red blood cells). When an individual doesn’t get enough iron, it can make the individual tired, gives headaches and makes it difficult to concentrate and leads to anaemia.
So what foods contain Iron?
Within foods there are two types of iron, haem (which is absorbed) and non-haem (which is harder). Haem iron is mainly found in meat, poultry and seafood and non-haem iron is mainly found in plants. To meet dietary requirements someone with a plant based diet has to eat around 80% more iron. The dietary requirements for teenagers 14-18 is 11mg/day for males and 15mg/day for females, while adults from 19-50 should have 8mg/day for males or 18mg/day for females. Bellow is a list of foods rich in iron:
Beef
Lamb
Ham
Turkey
Chicken
Veal
Pork
Dried Beef
Liver
Liverwurst
Eggs
Shrimp
Clams
Scallops
Oysters
Tuna
Sardines
Haddock
Mackerel
Spinach
Sweet potato
Peas
Broccoli
String beans
Beet Greens
Dandelion Greens
Collards
Kale
Whole wheat bread
Enriched pasta
Wheat products
Bran cereals
Corn meal
Oat cereal
Cream of Wheat
Rye Bread
Enriched Rice
Strawberries
Watermelon
Raisins
Dates
Figs
Prunes
Dried apricots and peaches
Tofu
Beans (kidney, garbanzo, or white, canned)
Tomato products (e.g. paste)
Dried peas
Dried beans
Lentils
Corn syrup
Maple syrup
Molasses
It’s also important to note, however, that a healthy body only absorbs around 18% of iron in a diet with meat and 10% in a vegetarian diet, though the amount could potentially be lower. This might not be an issue, if your body is already storing a lot of iron, but it can also be influenced by other means. To boost iron absorption an individual can do the following:
Consume more vitamin C
Eat meat and vegetable sources of iron together
Cook plant based sources of iron (the body absorbs 6% of the iron from raw broccoli and 30% from cooked)
There are also things that can reduce iron absorption such as:
Soy proteins, specifically for plant sources
Tea, coffee and wine
Phytates and fibres found in whole grains like bran
Inadequate vitamin A
Calcium and Phosphorus for plant sources

What foods can be eaten while on the Keto diet?
Tumblr media
The ketogenic diet focuses on foods low in carbohydrates but rich in healthy fats and moderate protein. Here's a list of keto-friendly foods organised by category to help you stick to the diet and stay in ketosis.
Healthy Fats
Fats make up the majority of keto calories, and choosing high-quality fats is critical for your health and energy levels.
Avocados and avocado oil
Olive oil and olives
Coconut oil and MCT oil
Grass-fed butter and ghee
Fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, and sardines
Nuts and seeds (almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds)

Protein should be consumed moderately to provide high-quality, nutrient-dense options.
Eggs
Poultry (chicken, turkey)
Beef (grass-fed if possible)
Pork (including bacon)
Fish and seafood (tuna, shrimp, scallops)
Tofu and tempeh (minimal-carb varieties)

We review our line up catering items on a regular basis. Some new lines we come up with ourselves. Some are because there is a market for them and we have seen competitors offering them. Others are asked for by our corporate clients. The gourmet burger service we added last December was in response to a request from one of our major clients. One of our new lines is a consequence of a brain storming session we had. One of our office staff particularly likes noodles, so she put the idea of a Chinese noodle bar forward. It made the cut as one of a number of new things we will be offering in the coming year. Noodles There are four main types of egg noodles you find at Chinese takaways. These are; Thin Wonton Noodles Very thin string like noodles. Usually found in wonton noodle soup, or other simple dishes. Usually boiled, drained then topped with a simple sauce. Wide Wonton Noodles Similar to their thinner brethren, but, well, thicker. Perfect for heartier soups, or more substantial dishes with beef and oiler flavours. Hong Kong Style Chow Mein Noodles These are more what we regard as a noodle. Perfect for stir frying and making the classic noodle dishes. Lo Mein Noodles A thicker noodle, again used in stir fried noodle dishes, usually paired with a heavy rich sauce, less springy than the other noodles. Typical Menu We are still experimenting with the standard menu we intend to offer, but here are some options we are looking at for the initial carts. Chicken Curry A nice simple classic that everyone loves. Well, not vegetarians obviously, and not chicken haters. Beef In Black Bean Sauce Egg noodles, beef, soy sauce and a mixture of chillies, peppers and ginger giving a nice spicy kick. Vegetable Noodles Thick egg noodles with a selection of stir fried vegetables. Sweet And Sour Chicken Noodles Another classic Chinese dish. Noodles, chicken and a sweet and sour sauce. Yakisoba Noodles A sweet Japanese soy sauce and pickled ginger with egg noodles. Of course at this stage these are subject to change, and once the cart is operating we will drop the least popular options and try new ones. Additionally like our other catering options we can work with you to create a customised menu for your guests. Our noodle boxes provide plenty of space for adding corporate logo's of the names of a bride and groom. One thing we are wrestling with, is should we go traditional and issue chopstix, or stick to forks so that everyone actually gets something to eat. Chinese Cart Our street food style stalls lend themselves perfectly to the theme and we are working on adapting one especially for the noodles. For smaller events, or where space is at a premium we can use one of our smaller carts to host the noodle bar. Read the full article

The Ultimate Diet for Healthy Hair: Foods and Beverages
Tumblr media
Hair Health and all the food you consume will show up in your hair's strength, shine, and resilience. Hair health helps to indicate your overall condition; thus, it is a balanced diet with all the required nutrients that supports your growth cycle of your hair, reduces the danger of hair loss, and improves your hair texture and looks. In this all-inclusive review, we will discuss the ultimate diet for healthy hair, including the most nutritional foods to drinks and nutrients for gorgeous and healthy locks .
Source: https://www.directhairtransplant.in/top-foods-drinks-healthy-hair-growth
1. Protein-Rich Foods: The Foundation of Hair Growth
Hair essentially is composed of keratin, a protein that becomes a string of building blocks of your strands. Hence, adequate protein intake assures your body of retaining and repairing hair tissue.
Lean meats: The best dietary protein sources which strengthen hair follicles include chicken, turkey, and lean cuts of beef.
Eggs are rich in protein and have biotin-a nutrient that increases hair growth.
Fish like salmon, mackerel, and sardines are filled with omega-3 fatty acids as well as proteins to help keep hair density on the scalp.
Legumes: lentils, chickpeas, beans; nuts-almonds, walnuts. The plant sources would include legumes and nuts. Legumes are great sources of protein, contain biotin, zinc, and other hair-healthy minerals.
2. Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Healthy Scalp and Hair
Omega-3 fatty acids are vital for scalp health and inflammation to fight against dry and brittle hair.
Fatty fish The richest sources of omega-3s include fatty fish like salmon, trout, and sardines.
Flaxseeds and chia seeds are great plant-based sources of providing omega-3 to the vegan and vegetarian.
Walnuts are also a great source-they contain both omega-3, which aids hair growth, biotin, which gives strength to your hair, and vitamin E, which fights free radicals from potentially causing damage to your hair .
3. Vitamin C and antioxidant-rich foods: helping the production of collagen
Vitamin C is needed in the synthesis of collagen, a protein for the hair, which will make it hardy and less likely to break. It protects hair follicles from free radical actions that may provoke aging and potentially losses, premature.
Citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, and grapefruits are full of vitamin C.
Berries like strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries contain antioxidants and vitamin C, which may stimulate hair growth and protect against damage.
Bell peppers, especially the red variety, contain more vitamin C than oranges and have been useful for scalp and hair treatment.
4. Biotin-Rich Foods: Strength of Hair Biometric
Biotin is one of the B-vitamins that are very helpful to have healthy hair growth. Its lack leads to hair thinning and even loss.
Eggs The highest reserves of biotin can be found in eggs, particularly in the yolk.
Almonds, peanuts, and walnuts are not only rich in healthy fats and protein but also biotin.
Sweet potatoes are both an excellent source of biotin and a source of beta-carotene, which encourages the production of sebum, a natural oil, to moisturize the scalp.
5. Iron and Zinc: Minimize Hair Loss
Iron helps red blood cells carry oxygen to the hair follicles, which promotes healthy growth and vitality, while zinc supports the functioning of the oil glands around the hair follicles in maintaining its good health as well as preventing hair loss.
Robust sources of iron include red meat, spinach, and lentils, which work towards the prevention of hair thinning
while oysters are an amazing source of zinc; if you do not eat seafood, pumpkin seeds and chickpeas will help.
Dark, leafy greens like spinach and kale are rich in iron as well as vitamin C. Both these elements can enhance the absorption of iron into the body, thus giving the hair a much-needed boost.
6. Vitamin D: Boosting Hair Follicles
Vitamin D helps produce new hair follicles. Lack of vitamin D has also been associated with hair loss.
Fatty fish Salmon, mackerel, sardines- all oily fish are also perfect sources of vitamin D.
Egg yolks and fortified products-for example, many dairy products and plant milks-will constitute a significant proportion of your overall vitamin D intake.
Mushrooms, particularly wild, are among the few richest sources of vitamin D among plant-based sources.
7. Hydration: The Role of Water and Healthy Beverages
Hydration is to your hair as it allows moisture in your scalp and hair to be retained. Dry, brittle hair is indicative of dehydration on a significant scale.
Water is also the best hydrating agent, and drinking enough water daily will have healthy and elastic hair.
Herbal teas, such as chamomile or green tea, may add antioxidant benefits to hydration
Coconut water is a good source of potassium and electrolytes, hydrating the hair and scalp.
Fruit smoothies from berries, spinach, and avocado pack vitamins and minerals while helping hydrate.
8. Whole Grains: A Healthy Sign Towards Hair Growth
Whole grains are a good source of B vitamins, zinc, and iron, all being very essential for hair growth. Moreover, they are full of complex carbohydrates that provide sustained energy for hair cells.
Some samples of nutrient-dense whole grains include brown rice, quinoa, and oats, each helping with supporting hair growth.
Barley and millet are yet two other whole grains that contain iron and zinc, so they are a good supplement to a diet for healthy hair.
9. Vitamin A and Beta-Carotene: Scalp Health
Vitamin A assists in the skin glands' work of producing sebum-a waxy substance which moisturizes the scalp and thus encourages healthy hair.
Because carrots, sweet potatoes, and pumpkins have beta-carotene, your body converts that into vitamin A.
Dark, leafy greens like spinach and kale are also good sources of beta-carotene for a healthy scalp and hair.
10. Super Hair Health Foods: Power-Packed Ingredient Combinations
Superfoods are loaded with good stuff that's meant to sustain your body in general, including your hair.
While avocados contain a tremendous amount of healthy fats, vitamins E and C, and biotin that will help assist with the growth and health of your hair and scalp, the same can be said for rich.
ingredients found in spinach and kale - which also are high in iron, folate, and vitamins A and C that work well to promote healthy, strong hair.
Blueberries, rich in antioxidants, protect the hair follicles from oxidative stress and damage.
Foods to Avoid for Hair Health
Some foods promote hair growth, whereas others impair hair growth by damaging or slowing it down:
Specifically Food with high sugar levels increase insulin spikes that enhance androgens whose role is to shrink hair follicles resulting in hair loss.
Processed foods are usually rich in unhealthy fats that cause inflammations in the body, thus affecting the scalp and hair growth.
Excessive alcohol and caffeine dehydrate the body and hence your hair would be brittle and dry.
Conclusion
Healthy hair is all about balance, variety, and nutrient-rich food. Focus on those lean proteins, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals from whole, unprocessed foods, and you will be nourishing your hair for growth, reducing hair loss, and keeping your hair shining with health. Hydration through water and nutrient-rich drinks will moisturize your scalp and hair from the inside out. Healthy-looking hair begins with what you put on your plate!
