Managed to become an animagus at the age of fifteen.

Managed to plot an unplottable building which also kept track of every person, polyjuiced or otherwise in the said building.

Managed to enchant two mirrors to face time with his best friend and developed an amazing form of communication.

Was touted as one of the most brilliant students by two supremely intelligent professors.

Joined the not-so-secret society to fight the most evil Dark Lord of all times at the age of eighteen.

Became the bait for his best friend and his family by pretending to be the secret keeper even though he knew all the death eaters will target him for information.

Stayed sane after twelve years of Azkaban.

Stayed sane after sixteen years of Walburga Black.

Rejoined the not-so-secret society even after he had been wronged by all its members and was mocked and belittled by many of the members.

Tried to protect his godson from the moment he was born. His last conversation with Harry was asking him to leave and be safe.

He was the only adult Harry could completely rely on and was still there for Harry even with his shit mental health.

Defeated death eaters in the DoM even though he was years out of practice.

But yeah, sure, Sirius was a dumb jock with no skills or academic prowess or sensitivity. He was, for sure, a bad influence on Harry compared to the other amazing role models Harry had.

The only shitty thing about being a self-shipper in some fandoms is when you want to connect with people who are in that same fandom as you and share your love of the characters you ship with, whether with fanfics you wrote or art you drew/commissioned, but having this gut feeling that you just KNOW that people are going to laugh at your or call you gross or whatever, and it sucks. You basically have to tread so lightly and tiptoe around glass with how you talk positively about certain characters because otherwise people will bully you for it in any way they can and almost force you to isolate yourself from the majority of the fandom, if not completely ruin your love for that source- and that shouldn't happen, but it does.

Whether just for fun or actually serious about it, LET PEOPLE SELF-SHIP. So long as they're not hurting or offending anyone, the character and person shipping themselves with them are both adults, and are happy with how they live and express themselves, it shouldn't be an issue. Who fucking cares if people call it "cringe" or "stupid" or whatever words they come up with? It's something we love, and characters we love, and us self-shippers deserve to be able to feel safe and accepted in the sources we love without worrying about being insulted by it. Let us love what we love- we're not stopping you from enjoying your fandoms, so don't do it to us.

ok but genuinely? taking leftover food home from your foodservice/restaurant job should be so normal. it should be 100% allowed and condoned and encouraged. sharing it, too. giving stuff away at the end of the night.

companies could be jumping at this opportunity too! helping people! lower food waste! it doesn't necessarily make them extra money directly, but people will hear about it and think "oh, that's cool, i should buy from there" and then the company will make more money. and it's helping people who can't afford food... have food. that should be worth doing!

Okay but Korn definitely chose Arthee on purpose, like he absolutely knew Arthee had a gambling addiction and picked him so Porsche would be easier to manipulate later. After all, Porsche only worked for them because he drastically needed the money to take care of Chay, so what better way to cause money problems than to introduce a gambler who'd lose all of it?

Part of me is even inclined to say Korn ordered Arthee to lose the thousands they got from Kinn's watch, because Kinn admitted earlier that Korn told him to work together with the debt collectors to pressure Porsche into taking the job right after the money was lost, and Arthee was working directly for Korn. You can't tell me he didn't plan that whole thing out

Lately as I write about things I don’t particularly care about but don’t mind learning about I feel like I understand Becky Bloomwood. 🤣 I don’t have the shopping addiction, but sometimes you can end up finding yourself in a weird niche for writing. “bored to tears” is accurate description at the moment as I look up specs and wonder how anyone can look at something and go yeah that’s exactly the same as the 2001 model in style but if you look here at this part, that’s similar to the 2011 one, and this, this is the exciting new feature that’s just...not exciting to me. 😅
