We are looking at someone still stuck at the bottom of Maslow's hierarchy of needs.#Everything and everyone is a piece in a game. Bonds and friendships are assets. People are dispensable.#He wants to climb for the sake of climbing. He wants praise and recognition because he feels it is deserved. Okay, so first of all Dan would like to say it’s not his fault. Ellie was the one to bring some unknown object into the speeder and Jazz was the one driving. Or had Sam been driving- didn’t matter! It wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t the one shooting at them, he wasn’t the one to break whatever, he was not the one to open a stupid portal, and so it wasn’t his fault!

So why is he now like, five years old, and why is the speeder crashed in some sort of corn field. Why is everyone- except for Jazz whose now like six- also like three at most?! And- oh fuck the door just opened and… okay that’s a kid. Like, nine at most.

A kid and an adult, who he hadn’t noticed at first so again, it’s not his fault if he hissed at them and tried to hide his not-siblings behind him. It’s also not fair they’re apparently stuck to ghost speak for who knows how long, but at least they can understand the people.

“Martha, get some blankets, it’s happened again!”

But fr tho imagine like a dozen of tiny baby noodles with a bit of fur and tiny stubby horns just curling up on your lap or around you as you sleep, draped around your shoulder, on top of your head (and Zhongli's) that is so cute pls too adorable. 💕

I'd imagine they'd be still too weak/young to fly let alone shapeshift so they're housebound, zhongli and you have to take turns watching them and going out to do stuff. Also since they're dragons/reptiles they wouldn't need milk?? rather probably just smol pieces of meat or like soft food aaaaaaaaaaaa too cute imagine feeding them with a spoon carefully.

Until they start teething that it, then they become lil menaces, biting everything on sight including each other when play fighting and/or their father (lmao) Zhongli would make small crystals they can bite into instead of destroying everything 💕

Speaking of their father imagine Zhongli feeling the urge to take dragon form just so he can curl around them and soothe them in a way they'd be more instinctually comfortable with (PAPA DRAGON ZL INSTINCTS RUNNING WILD IMAGINE HIM LICK-BATHING THEM SVCGAHBAK 🥺💕💕💕) tho they 1000% recognize you as mama and like to burrow in your hair or under your shirt (babies noooo) and just be close to/on top of you at all times

Everyone's talking about what they want from 911 season 8 but this is just popped into my head and won't go away.

There's some dumbass reason why some of the 118 need a helicopter (treasure map part 2 maybe? Or something equally dumb.) It's NOT an actual emergency, just general tomfoolery.

So naturally they go to Tommy, who initially refuses because it's a dumbass reason and the poor guy just wants to go home and have a nap after finishing his shift of...flying a helicopter.

But the 118 deploy their not so secret weapon of Buck, who pouts and gets Tommy to give in because Tommy has zero capability of saying no to him.

So they all get into the nearest available helicopter, and when they're all settled Tommy just looks over at Buck and says "ok Evan, whenever you're ready.", and Buck is like "wait you want ME to fly this thing?"

Because he's been taking lessons, and is more than capable. Tommy's just all "I told you I'm not gonna do it" and the 118 in the back are all contemplating their life choices and wondering if it's safer to get the hell out now.

(Buck's actually not a bad pilot in training, and they pull off their shenanigans without crashing 😂.)

i mean, if said random person hadn't gotten so close to his house, the dog wouldn't be mauling them, sooooo...

and as an aside; i imagine y/n doesn't know that dogday will occasionally attack people in the woods surrounding their home when they aren't there. y/n knows him to be against violence unless it's necessary (unlike their time in the factory, where he didn't have a choice), and the closest town doesn't really deliver newspapers out in the woods. so unless they pay attention to gossip when they go to work, there's no way for y/n to figure out that the supposed "monster" in the woods mauling people is their friend and housemate. there are cougars out there, it's probably just one of those.

and they know that dogday likes to hunt deer occasionally (and he sometimes eats them all by himself), so they don't suspect anything when he comes home covered in blood. he's just a little messy, that's all. they clean him off and welcome him back in, none the wiser.

#as much as i wanna see dogday as thos sweet innocent fella who would never hurt a fly #hes a monster just like the rest of the toys and came from the same environment #that kind of learned violence and survival instincts would be hard to unlearn #and he can justify it by sayin he was protecting y/n and the others from being discovered #protection was likely the reason for his first kill outside the factory and it was probably a snap decision #he didnt want y/ns little safe haven to be discovered and destroyed just because he happened to be seen #so he did what he felt he had to

Haunted car au pt 5

Yo, got covid, felt like crap, and only wrote one chapter because of it. But since that chapter is done, I get to post this little one.

Danny would like to clarify that he was almost 15 years old, and driver ed just wasn't a thing for a street kid. Sure, Aunt Alicia let him “drive” her tractor as a kid, but that was him on her lap messing with the steering wheel, and there was no way Amity Park residents would allow his dad to teach him how to drive! Especially after his attempts to teach Jazz… All he has figured out so far was how to turn the wheels without opening the doors, never mind on getting the wheels to actually move forward.

Maybe he was going about it in the wrong way? Danny spent the better part of the day trying and failing to move forward. It wasn't until the kid, Duke, came back into the cave that Danny realized how bad he was at being a car. It was also kinda awkward how Duke kept glancing at him after taking his helmet off and putting his stuff away. Danny, not wanting this to get too awkward, waved at Duke, and startled the both of them when the car door opened about an inch and closed in time with Danny's wave.
