Judging from the fact this teaser came out and it’s releasing in October, we can be fair in assuming she finished filming BEFORE going to vancouver in the summer. Also the show is set in London to the looks of it. and, the”project” Ella is talking about COULD be for sweet pea except for the fact that she has briefly mentioned it in interviews and a Photo + Synopsis was already officially released, she wouldn’t have to say “project” to promote something that is already in the public eye, I could bet 9/10 she’s already posted the teaser on one of her social media’s by now.

james- I think he'd be a big fan of all the music of the now and maybe 10 ish years earlier. lots of sixties duwopy pop-rock like the beatles, the zombies and the turtles but also more contemporary stuff; Fleetwood Mac, Wings, the Pretty Things, Frank Zappa, the Eagles, Queen and Bowie (not glam, disco. so like thin white Duke era- not that he'd mind glam bowie I just think he'd prefer disco bowie)! also I think like Ambrosia and other 70s pop he'd dig.. but I think he would be totally in love with Fleetwood Mac, especially their album Mystery to Me- because it would remind him of lily. I think he, along with alice, would get lily more into fleetwood mac.

lily - I think she'd really prefer 50s rock and jazz .. blues and soul too, though I don't think she'd mind later rock. she just seems very buddy holly/chet baker/frank sinatra/ray charles/ella fitzgerald/nina simone, I also think she'd really like otis redding but he's 60s lol, oh and I think she would've LOVED the monkees when she wad younger and would think theyre brilliant.

sirius - glam glam glam and then also punk from the late 70s-81.. also goth+post punk music (ie. the cure, echo and the bunnymen, the smiths, siouxsie and the banshees, depeche mode, joy division ect ect) but I always think of goth as sort of a mid-late 80s thing so I don't think he'd have really been exposed to alot of goth bands because he was. in jail... but I think David Bowie, T. Rex, Lou Reed, the Velvet Underground, and then like Television, Patti Smith, the Clash, Iggy Pop, the Stooges. yk.. but also a lot of what James listens to as well!:3 bc they r bff! also I think remus and sirius share great love for queen :)

remus! - folk! and art rock! I think he'd like a lot of the glam sirius listens to and I think he'd be a very big velvet underground fan. as for folk, I think Bob Dylan, Vashti Bunyan, Donovan, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Janis Ian, Simon and Garfunkle, GEORGE HARRISON!! - that sort of vibe.. also also think he'd share folky stuff with lily and she would rather enjoy it !

peter - I don't think he really listens to music tbh, not in the way where he'd have favourites. just whatever is on the radio/the records his friends play!

alice - I think she lovessssss female artists and makes a point to listen to them. Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Janis Ian, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Kate Bush, Aretha Franklin, very varied but very girl, because I think Alice is a big fan of women doing things idk. bisexual moment 4 her. I think her and lily would also both share a really great love of Stevie Nicks and be like fanatics of hers.

frank - I think bro LOVES reggae idk. Bob Marley fan. culture/jimmy cliff/the gladiators. I also think he'd like a lot of "dad rock" bands, led zeppelin/steely dan/the eagles/the who/the kinks.. yar naur. he's a man❤️🙂‍↕️

severus - classical music snob, probably inherited from his mom. loathes rock n roll idk. seems like THAT SORT OF GUY..

regulus - lots of classical and jazz, but not in the way severus is like pretentious, I mean coming from a muscianship standpoint. I think he'd especially love miles davis jazz wise and beethoven+liszt classical music wise (ie. I think he'd have a great love for romantic music, even though beethoven isn't usually considered romantic- just LISTEN to moonlight sonata, it is DRIPPING with the emotion of romantic music).

i havent been posting stuff for my original stories lately but i think its about time i show off my girls! these two are Ange and Ella and they exist in post-nuclear breakdown America. this world is one where the Cuban Missile Crisis went horribly wrong, causing six major cities to become decimated nuclear wastes---now called RadCons and encased in big walls by the remaining fragments of the USA. these RadCons are isolated and extremely rough to be in, but the outside is only a little better. still, the hope of freedom and safety out there is enough to drive these twins out of the wreckage of New York City. theyre on a trip across the continent to Seattle to see the '62 world fair's space needle that they've seen ads about and dreamed of since they were born conjoined, sharing a six-chamber heart! and the trip is unpleasant :D

i do adore my girls very much, they have been through a lot!!! an essential fun fact about them is that when they grew up in RadCon-3 (New York) they were raised by this really nasty and gruesome gang that used to all just be a bunch of medical professionals in a women's hospital but overtime evolved into this crazed group. and Ange and Ella were kinda the group's prized possession, especially the leader! shes the one who kept the twins alive and made their heart work (as pictured below) but she also sucks :)

personality-wise, Ange is very firey but also empathetic, while Ella is more clever, quiet, and calculating. theyre 15---born just six months after the nuclear disaster, and mutated within their mother's womb because of the radiation around her

ive got so much more info about them and their story but thatll be for later if i decide to do more work on this story!

Some have been there the whole time, while others appear when a new survivor/hunter arrives. They look the same as the day they died, but still age "mentally"

Those who have kept Lucky company since the start of his stay include Miles, Michiko's husband, Sam Bourbon, and for some reason, Nathaniel Norwell, whose cause of death is unknown to everyone but himself

Three more ghosts appeared. Vera, Claude, and Ella arrived at the manor the same time their sibling did, which gave Lucky some insight to the survivor/hunter

Its weird seeing them just. Lounging around without no one noticing them at all. Even more disconcerting if its one of the twins; Lucky's had to stop himself from calling out to Ithaqua with the name "Nathaniel" more than once. He doesnt want to know what would happen to him if he did

Theyre a weird found family that should've never been founded in the first place. Sam loves teasing the others like theyre his younger siblings, Nathaniel's a prick, Vera loves to comment on every single thing, and Claude and Ella won't stop squabbling with each other (or ganging up on Nathaniel). Miles is the only normal guy here and Lucky is so grateful that he's sane enough to deal with everyone else's bullshit

Lucky gets used to every new addition, and he likes to think that he's getting a hang of the whole ghosts thing

And then the novelist arrives at the manor. With a ghost that wears the same face.

This isn't a design tier list (I think most of their personas have cool designs). It's purely about how fast it takes me to decide whether to smash or pass. Some of them i just dont know how it would even work. And some of them, well..... just one chance please. please.

More detailed explanations below the cut. Warning: long and sort of nsfw? You know what they say, "no sideblog, we lose followers like men"

I've talked about Akechi's personas a lot before but Im gonna do it again since theyre just so good. Loki is a definitive no.1 for me both in terms of fuckability (snatched waist, claws, hypnotizing pattern) and also design. Compared to other personas, he doesnt wear an outfit or additional accessories, it's just the braids and gold pumps and the huge sword. It's a simpler design which makes it more sleek and powerful and lethal (since the emphasis is on his sharp edges). Plus sticking to minimal colors makes him more memorable

Arsène is second place for the exact same reasons as Loki (minimal colors and accessories) plus he got the childbearing hips. Both Arsene and Loki got that freak in them but my headcanon is that Loki is openly freaky while Arsene acts like a gentleman to conceal his freakishness until the right moment. And personally I find open freakiness hotter in personas. Sidenote: Closet freak x Open freak is a peak dynamic and this is why I'm an Arsene/Loki truther

Célestine is a total baddie. Look at her... I love the huge braids that form a heart (similar to Loki, maybe I just like big-ass braids). I think her off-shoulder top and tights are so hot. She's wearing glasses and glasses are sexy. She's stepping on someone and I wish it was me.

Hereward is here for one thing: fat ass. I couldn't find a back shot of him but when you use him at the end of the game we see everything from a backwards angle and well,,., it's very thicc. And i'm an ass + thighs guy at the end of the day, so. (Also design-wise I think it does a great job combining the lethal vibes of Loki with the noble dignity of Robin Hood. It's the perfect representation of Akechi's character growth)

Satanael is huge which means he definitely has that monster dick. I like that his hands and feet look like bony claws. He's terrifying and demonic and that's what I'm here for. Robin Hood has huge boobs. I kinda wanna feel them up 🥺👉👈 if he'd let me. He's lower ranked than Akechi's other personas because ppl interpret him as the 'good/nice' one as opposed to Loki's nightmare fuel. And I just find freakish personas hotter. Thats just me tho. Raoul is at the bottom of S-tier because he's like Arsene but less childbearing hips :( They also replaced the top hat with a fedora(?) which is so funny

"Hot" tier means I think they're hot but i had to think about it first (aka not an instant smash). It's Carmen, William, and Vanadis. Carmen is still sexy but less cunty than Celestine (Carmen doesnt have the huge braids rip). William has great drip and a hot skull face but he's stick thin so i banished him to this tier. That guy has no thighs. Vanadis looks sinister, but has too many patterns going on for me. I like everything from her waist up tho

"Eye-candy" tier means I wouldn't smash but they still look hot. I put Captain Kidd, Hecate, Kamu Susano-o, Zorro, and Ella. They all have the same issue. Too many accessories or patterns/colors is apparently a turn off for me? Captain Kidd and Hecate at least look terrifying in the sexy way. Zorro is dorito-shaped which is more funny than hot. Ella just looks pleasant, which makes her pretty but not fuckable. If I wanted pleasant I'd go after a nice normal human. But these are personas, I'm here for quasi-monster fuckery. Give me terrifying and freaky

"Maybe if you paid me" tier means I'd definitely pass but I'm not that opposed to it. I put Gorokichi, Cendrillon, Seiten Taisei, Mercurius, Diego, Agnes, and Astarte. These have the same issues as the "eye candy" tier (too many accessories, patterns/colors, etc.) and also noticably diminished in their lower halves (I told u I'm an ass + thighs guy lol). I'm so sad that Seiten Taisei doesnt have a scary skull face like ryuji's other personas. Astarte is Haru's hottest persona by far and I got so upset that her third awakening brought back the big dress noooo give me back the golden bra lady.

"Pass" is self-explanatory. Every other persona is unfuckable to me. I feel like the most controversial ones in this tier might be Johanna and Anat? Sorry, I know some people are into robots but personally I'm not.

he wouldnt interact w all of them bc hes so busy. its kind of a struggle to even write him interacting w topher but! here are some interactions i know for sure

dave- thinks his failures are funny. records closeups of him crying

jasmine- pretty quickly has a small crush/thing for her bc strong pretty girl but it doesnt amount to anything and he gets over it pretty quickly. thinks dating a contestant when hes a crew member would be stupid (foreshadowing). thinks he dodged a bullet bc if she ended up w shawn, then theres surely something wrong with her. she would not know who this man is for the first half of the season but then she becomes suspicious that topher is in cahoots with an intern for whatever reason

sammy and amy- i try to characterize danny as being a dumbass in a chaotic/impulsive sort of way. but here hes just dumbass dumbass; it takes him like a week to realize theyre two different ppl and not just one very fast cheerleader who is sometimes a doormat and sometimes a bitch

max- max mistook him for a contestant during the water balloon challenge and ended up hurting danny. cut to danny about to do something to him but we never learn what

ella- he would find her so grating in a way that isnt too different from how he is with others. im just bringing it up bc if he were canon ppl would absolutely ship them oh my god. theyre even both singers. similar energy to amy rose x shadow the hedgehog LOL

Problematic BodySwap - Au Storys - 1

Once appon a Au, well two actually, a "god" decided that for her own amusement she would swap two people from different au's bodys, the chosen people were Cindy from Horrortales and Lucille from Horrorswaps, these two innocent girls will have to learn as much as possible about each other to be each other. Maybe now, theyll get the new start at life that they always wanted. What a intresting experiance this will be huh?

"First impressions"

"Lucille" starts waking up, tired as always, and thinking its going to be another boring day at school, Luna being annoying and pretty, Sage being herself and venting about more things that are wrong with her and crushing on Malicr, Malice herself being her cold silent self, Stella being her own weird self with those weird videos she does. She cant help but want to stay in bed as always but she needs to get ready, when she looks to the side though she doesnt see her normal things she seems to be on the top bunk of a bunk bed, analizeing her environments she gets closer to the edge of the bunkbed, looking down at the room, it isnt her room, nor her sister's or any room in her house, its a pretty room, it has a bookcase, a beanbag, a window above a bigger bed, a younger girl seems to be sleeping on it, whos that she questions? But then it hits her, she panicks abit, did she get kidnapped? Where is she? Why is she here??

After abit of questioning she has to find out more, she climbs down and looks at the clock next to the bed of that girl, 6am, right, the advantages of having sleeping problems, she goes check if the door is locked and to her suprise it isnt, so she gets out and opens each room upstairs to find out if there is any other children here or even adults, but no, not one. It was just her and that other, but then she walks past a mirror and.. whats this? Whos that girl?, she back tracks to see, this girl is immitateing her movements, she asks if she is ok but she just mimics her mouth movemnt.. "Lucille" starts to touch her own face.. wait its different? She starts to understand, she touches her two ponytails and.. theyre there! Her hair, its all very dark purple? Almost black? She didnt have plastic surgery, she couldnt, it feels too natural, this isnt her body, she understands now, this isnt her house but this girl's.. she decides to look downstairs abit more relaxed

As she is going down the stairs someone with the same voice as her original mother asks "Hazel is that you?" Her not knowing how to answer becouse she didnt know her own new name said "Maybe?!.. Good morning though!" She was suprised, her voice wasnt hers. Oh wait, ofcourse it wasnt, it wasnt even her body to bigin with. She goes over to where her "mother" Ella is, and she's in the kitchen making something, she has a face mask on, "Lucille" wanders why she is wearing that, but then she looks at her, her eyes were blue, so.. thats not her mother? Her mother has yellow eyes! Not blue!! The imposter mother says "Oh Lucille! Youre awake before your sister today? Did you have a nightmare again?" ..So thats her name, "Lucille"? Its a pretty name, who ever this girl was, she had almost the exact same mom as her and she guesses who ever this Hazel girl was is that Sister her mother talked about, and since that girl upstairs looks to be the only other person here.. its her. She is Hazel isnt she? "Lucille" answers her inposter mother. "Hum.. yeah, suprising huh?... I was going to wake up Hazel to see if she would confort me but.. I didnt want to disturb her." The way she talked made the inposter mom abit confused, seemingly suspecting something's wrong. But then she just sighs "..Lucy, can you please not talk in that tone? I know youre growing and still pretty traumatized by the car crash.. believe me we all are still not passed it... but it doesnt give you the right to talk like that..." This suprises "Lucille", there was a car crash here too? And the only way she would be traumatized is if.. she was in the car that day, she feels sorry for this girl, Lucille, she feels bad about talking in that tone too, defencive and abit agressive. "Im sorry ..mom? I didnt mean to talk like that... it was just a really scary dream... thats all" the imposter mom seems to be satisfied with that responce! "Ok ok.. its alright Lucy, just- please dont do that again... and come here.." so she was right to assume she was theyre mother, she goes and sees that her mother seems to want a hug, so she gives one to her, a tight one, her mother giggles happily as she hugs back, they share a hug for a few minutes, her mom returns ti making Coffee, "Lucille" trys to start making her own breakfest but her mom ask what she is doing, when she explains its breakfest, she asks if she doesnt want her to make it as usual anymore? She is abit dumb founded by this, she likes tis new mom! She accepts the breakfest to be made by her, "Lucille" heads on over to what seems to be the livingroom and sits down thinking about whats going on

Soon after, Hazel, she is awake and down there, she looks so neutrel, and doesnt direct a word to "Lucille", she pressured by her stare says "G- Good morning Hazel, how did you sleep?" Hazel seemed cold, she responded with a flat "Fine. Good morning Lucille." For some reason she thought, this girl sounds smart. Her new sister sounds smart. Shr likes that, she loved her old innocent and pure sister but this one's nice too "..Do you maybe want to talk about something Hazel?" Hazel responded with another flat line "Nothing youd understand much of Lucy.." though it seems like this Lucille girl wasnt very smart, atleast as smart as Hazel, but Sin thinks she might be smarter. "Well try me Hazel, what wouldnt I understand? Maybe Ill suprise you.." this responce on its own suprised Hazel, normaly Lucille admited defeat immeatly, admiting Hazel would probably be right but that sence of suprised was short lived as her expression quickly changed back to unamused nutreal, "Well id like to talk about lets say.. quantum physics and what could be possible to do with them." But well "Lucille" could hear in her voice that she seemed to think she wouldnt be able to talk about it but she could, she started with "Quantum physics is the study of matter and energy at the most fundamental level if Im not mistaken, it aims to uncover the properties and behaviors of the very building blocks of all nature, not nature as in the outside but the rules of this universe, its believed that quantum phisycs can be used to travle thro time or to alternet realitys, or even universes, although I believe its more likely for us to be able to use it for teleportation first. :3" Hazel seems dumb founded, when did she learn this? Why? Hazel wants to test "Lucille's" new found knolage! And they start talking about it, "Lucille" or should I say Cindy, likes this place already, what a nice family these people have!

"Cindy" starts waking up, as usual with a rush of energy from the reacurring nightmare she always has, she could wait to talk to Hazel and her friends the whole day and spend no time alone at all. As always, she doesnt want to be alone, she is very scared of that, being alone? But well, she sits up, not so ready for this day, not so ready to walk down the ladders of her bunkbed and have her the breakfest that her mother always prepered for her but she didnt want her too, but to her suprise, she looked around and a shiver went thro her spine, she was alone in a room she has never been in before, not even in a bunkbed. She got out and immideatly ran to the door, its 7am already, pretty late for "Cindy" to wake up, she got out of the room room to look for Hazel, she needs her and now but as she ran thro the hallway to check the rooms, a Mirror. She looked twards it and got confused, she backtracked by walking backwards and looks at it.. who was that? Was that her? She looks do different! This was deffenetly magic! But as she started to touch herself she kinda realized her clothes where the ones in the mirror and there is hair slightly blocking her vision on one eye, her eyes looks so pretty too, a blue and green one, she want in her body for sure! She more calmly but still scared of being alone walked thro the corridor, she called out for someone "Hello? S- Someone there?" She was speachless after that though, that wasnt her voice! Sounded so much more mature, but she heard someone "Cindy? Im here!" And then some cute giggles, she goes to that sound, whos tha girl she wanders, she goes im the room the voice came from and its a little girl, roughly 8 or 9, very cute and looks simmilar to who ever this Cindy girl is, who she assumes the body belongs to, she sees her and says happily "Sis!! You came this time! :D" all happily and gets uo and hugs her, "Cindy" cant help but hug her back, she's so cute "Awwww ofcourse I came, why wouldnt I? ..whats youre name again :3? Pfffft?" "Cindy" asked her name in a playfull tone so she didnt get upset she forgot her name, she answer all happily "Its me!! Annie silly :3! I love you Cindy!!" She thinks to herself "(Awwwww this little girl is adorable! Am I her sister now? I mean.. she called me sis just abit ago..)" but had to answer her "Awww I love you too Annie, look at you all grown up!! Hehe, what do you wana do today? ^^" she doesnt know what this Cindy girl does thro her day to day but she bets the sister knows that! "Oh!! Yayyyyy!! :D I would likeeee.. you to help me pick my clothes for today!! Then! Then! We can go eat and get ready for school!! I- I feel like today will be amazing!!!" She squeels of happyness, and hugs tighter, "Cindy" giggles and agrees, asking her where the choises are, she shows her and "Cindy" picks immideatly the most pretty little dress for her! And she absolutely loves it, she wears it all happily and theh go downstairs

She as theyre comming down stairs sees her mom pass by in a hurry, she had no mask on and yellow eyes, she guesses it isnt her mother but this Cindy girl's mother maybe? She says "Hey girls!! Annie excitedly went to the kitchen and started making some food, this little girl could cook?.. her mom didnt make her breakfest? Well she looked busy so she couldnt blame her, for a few seconds she stared blankly at what Annie was doing untill she asked if she was going to eat breakfest too today or skip it like usual, "Cindy" understood she was supose to make it and Cindy normaly didnt, weirdly she got excited and said she was going to eat this time, but only if Annie helped, and so she did, she was really excited to cook breakfest, she made buttered toast with a sunny side up egg with a slice of chesse and ham, she ate it and loved it, even shared with her new sister! She always wanted this, a new life, although she wanted it with her sister, this was ok, she liked this, she kept asking Annie what to do next and so she went to Shower, it was.. weird showering, she changes the way her hair was, but then after that she puts one some cute clothes, then is informed she needs the uniform for school, so she changed into that! But with some alterations, aka more clothes ontop, anf theyre ready to go!! She already loves this place! A really nice life this Cindy girl had, well its hers now.. she does feel abit bad stealing it just like that but it feels so right to be in this girl's place. She loves it!

gen 2: i could so see him being friends with cam, zoe and mike !! he would fit right it with them and i think it would be so good for him to be around people that are nice to him because he needs that so bad like someone help him. also dawn and trent friendship realness (inspired by a td fan season i wrote with my friends)

gen 3: this ones a little more difficult because i dont really care all that much for the pi cast but if i had to choose i think he would get along well with sammy !! i think trent tends to gravitate more towards "unpopular" people as he has before (harold, cody etc), i could see him using his popularity to stick up for unpopular kids at school and stuff and honestly i just want him to tell amy to fuck off. i think he would be quite fond of ella and sky too

rr cast: the rockers are cannonically fans of the drama brothers (i think ?? might need to check that one) so i could see them being a bit starstruck by him !! i also think he would like the adversity twins too, same reason as sammy. he would so be friends with carrie and devin too, theyre the same genre of person to me if that makes sense

gen 4: honestly i never considered a trent and axel friendship, but now that i give it some thought i think they would be an interesting duo !! ur so real for that. idk if this counts as a "friendship" but when everyone was assigning gen 4 parents from gen 1 (chase aleheather kid, wayne lyler kid etc.) i always had the idea that damien was trents adopted son !! i still hold that headcannon very dear to my heart. damien and his cool musician dad realness <3

omg ella, youre gonna read lord of the rings! my advice is start with the hobbit, just because its a lot shorter (and technically for kids) so its easier to get into, especially if you are unfamiliar with the world and stuff! in terms of the lotr books (the first one is the fellowship of the ring) id say listen to the audiobooks, though specifically the ones narrated by phil dragash (which are not actually the official audiobooks), theyre free on spotify and i think soundcloud, they are genuinely the best audiobooks i have ever listened to (and made the experience reading a bit easier for me cos i struggle a bit with very long complex fantasy) sorry for the long ask haha and i hope you have the best time reading them when you do get round to it💚

They’re very inconsistent in what media they find to be completely okay and what they’ll call out and it often seems to be related more to personal preferences or people that they like rather than based on any real measurement of what’s inappropriate or not, but then now that they’ve been levied serious accusations about their direct impact on real people, they’ve just tried to justify it. Shows where their priorities are ig. Little fictional characters are more important than real life children. Bizarre. Ally, Ella, and everyone else in their little circlejerk should touch grass I think.

YES okay so i went more by like. who i would like people to play rather than. what vibes they give off. bc i think theyd be the best at it. so i dont particularly think youre like alexandra BUT you could probably play her well

okay so she's. very aware of everything. does that make sense. she's self aware & doesn't particularly overthink anything or get anxious a lot, partly because she doesnt really talk to lots of people. she doesnt say it out loud, but theyre beneath her.

except her sister (naomi), her girlfriend (maya) and the girl shes cheating on maya with (gia. my special girl. horribly toxic and devoted. murderous. a witch! ella ashmore but less traumatized & more of a "live fast die young" mindset.)

alexandra is HORRIBLY in love with gia and is dating maya more out of convenience. and its a very cool trope imo because she knows shes technically hurting maya BUT gia is the one seducing her. so. she pushes the blame onto her.

its like when a vampire's familiar lures innocent people into their home so the vampire can kill them. the familiar doesn't blame themselves! after all, they didn't kill them. they didn't pierce their flesh with their teeth and drain their blood and when they were done, dropped it like it was trash. but they might as well have.

they're all just. very confused teens. gia's a witch. alexandra's a rationalist. doesn't really believe gia (or doesn't want to believe her) until gia like. gives her this new body (alexandra's a trans girl).

and the transformation hurts so bad and lasts for days but in the end there's this. relief. alexandra feels like the world. she's good. she's beautiful. she is herself.

and gia didn't do it to make alexandra stay with her (because she knows alexandra would never leave her anyway), but...alexandra feels this. connection. it was there before but its stronger now because the part of herself, her true self, her soul, that connected to gia, is now her appearance as well. so when she kisses her now, its not just her soul doing it, but her lips as well. shes closer to gia than anyone is allowed to be.

okay went on a rant. i love them both with all my heart.....actually you could totally be naomi as well. youd crush that.

woke up early this morning to the cool dawn air pouring in and golden light on the oak. i feel like elementary school this morning, and like i am looking at a stranger's work again. i think i can smell the sweet moldy back seat of the van right now. i am paying all the last of my dues and getting everything ready. f is coming to see me today, i think, and i feel weighty with emotion i cannot articulate. i am thinking about excitement, and when the last time i was excited was. i am mostly afraid these days. theyre often the same thing, i think, at their base element. i think f is going to keep the baby. i dont think either of us thought theyd ever be the first of our friends to have a baby(other than ella, of course, who i havent spoken to in years and years) but here we are. i forgot that things are easier and harder without therapy. i really forget myself in the worst of the emotion when im regularly attending and thus forget to see the good. i am afraid at night and excited in the morning. everything is coming around again with so much humor. the 5 oclock whistle is back, they took the papers down from the windows in the castle, the vibrations stopped, and now on the day i signed the lease termination the big lamp across the street finally turned back on(with ofc a much brighter and worse bulb). yesterday someone was playing flute in the park like that first summer, on lammas eve. im stressed out about getting rid of so much of my belongings, i still dont know where im going to put my big furniture, and im feeling left at sea by my family in so many ways. lately ive been letting myself be proven gently true in just how uninvolved and outside of responsibility my family can make themselves to be. i wonder how many peoples fathers simply flat out ignore texts and calls from their kids. i wonder how many peoples grandfathers ask that they dont express that theyre upset because it might be upsetting to someone else. i feel relieved, in a way, that i somehow am coming out from underneath the cultural burdens of being british. if i ever go back theyre going to hate me on that island. im listening to the sounds of morning traffic and a parking officer emptying the coins from the meters into a big sack. there arent any lights shining in the windows of my new apartment, ive never been without a street light, not once anywhere but colorado. i guess the closest would be at my grandmothers house, where the street light shone in a window parallel with my bed as opposed to crossing it. im watching the dew evaporate off of the black tin roof of the castle across the street. ill be living under a huge old walnut and a portly hawthorn, and on the other side in the shadow of a juniper hedge. plum trees, a big garden full of veggies, place to keep the little boat, a lawn, a porch...ducks and chickens next door. i think ill feel really removed from everything there so its good im applying to teach a few different places. i feel like i used to enjoy being online a lot more and i dont have any interest in it these days so theres a bit of a void socially. i think i might need to find another job, though. and friends, if i can. im glad i rested yesterday, its going to be very hot and busy today. i miss the city, ill miss it even more i think when i move back into bumpkin territory. now i can smell the sea.
