Guess guess what scene inspired this, hahaha!

It felt... odd. You eyed the driver nervously. He was so quiet. Not more quiet than usual, but in this case it was kind of concerning.

"Blade...?" you murmured. It was already a surprise that Blade was offering you a ride while you had no idea he even had a driver's license. But the bigger surprise was when you realized Blade was sleep-deprived, and getting in a car accident with him was not necessarily on your wishlist.

Too bad the realization came only after he started the car, and you were now trying to make sure he wasn't falling asleep.

"Blade?" you asked, louder this time.

"What."

Another person would think he was angry, but you knew him better by now.

"Are you sure you're alright? I can go there myself. No need to help me."

"I'm fine. I already told you."

You gazed out of the window, then back at him. Instead of acting like you were worried about him, maybe a more selfish attitude would do it then.

"I appreciate your gesture, really. I'm just wondering if you can get me there in one piece."

You saw him frown a little. "Are you doubting me?"

"Not your driving skills, of course. But... Your current state. Blade, you haven't slept at all. I'd like to keep living, if you'll let me."

He was quiet for a moment and you had a feeling he was going to ignore this discussion. But then he simply pulled both hands off the wheel, and you gasped.

"What are you doing?!" you shrieked, only for Blade to look at you, with his hands right above the wheel and the expression on his face almost, what was it... taunting?

"The car is driving itself. Now happy?"

Oh he was totally taunting you. How petty, hehe.

You would laugh at it, but because of the jumpscare, the first thing you did was let out a sigh in relief. "I can't believe you," you said, faking as if you were going to hit him, but to your surprise he jumped slightly and blocked himself with his arm.

"Don't," he hissed. You stared at him and cocked your head.

"Huh? What're you getting all defensive for? I wasn't even touching you."

Blade glared. "Yet. You sure were about to."

You chuckled. "What, is the almighty Bladie afraid I'm gonna hit him? For real?" you teased.

"Don't call me that."

It was strange, Blade wouldn't recoil from a hit, fake or real, not from an enemy and definitely not from you, so... You smirked.

"Hey!" Blade's voice did quite the thing when your finger pierced into his side, poking him misschievously.

"What are you doing?!" he asked angrily.

"I have a feeling you just thought I was going to tickle you, weren't you? Which inspired me... to actually tickle you."

"I did no-ahh! Don't! That's dangerous! Stahahap!" Blade yelped when you tickled him again. You couldn't stop grinning. This was just gold.

He must've witnessed the two or three times you ended up getting in a tickle fight with Silver Wolf the past days, which caused him to think you were actually going to tickle him just now? The idea wouldnt even cross your mind!

Well, now it definitely did.

"Dangerous how? You said the car is driving by itself. I'm just making sure the driver and passenger won't get bored in the meantime," you said, wiggling your fingers against his side. Blade squirmed in his seat. This was just wonderful. You could see him struggle to not move too much - since then it would get a little more dangerous after all.

Right now he was merely trapped in the driver's seat and forced to endure your little tickle attack.

"I'll - ahah! Stop that!" Blade's angry giggles were everything. You knew you were really being too reckless for someone who valued life so much until seconds ago. But ticklish Blade was actually a discovery worth it.

"Gehehet ohohoff!" Blade swatted at you, and the lack of force in his reactions only made you go "aww". He wasn't entirely helpless - there were plenty of ways he could make you stop without crashing the car, but those might probably include hurting you, or...

Nah, never mind. He would never.

"Lahahast chahance!" Blade warned, jumping hilariously in his seat and twisting from side to side to avoid your relentless tickles. Using both hands, you wiggled your fingers against his sides and ribs, and occasionally tried to poke his tummy, but he really blocked that area with all of his might.

"Last chance or what?" you asked, but finally he managed to catch one of your hands. Then without warning he clawed at your side, tickling you back, and you screamed in surprise.

"EHEyes on the road sihihir!" you cried out in sudden panic. Blade froze, appearing shocked by the volume of your voice. You had already pulled your knees up and lay curled up in your seat, watching him in fear as you anticipated his counter attack. He would never tickle you back: you were confident about that. But... not anymore.

He sighed. "Then stop tickling me." Blade finally put his hands back on the wheel, and for the second time this ride, you sighed in relief.

It was funny to hear him say that word. Hmm. Maybe you just ruined your chances of having your first ever tickle attack with Bladie. But tickle fights in cars were never ideal. You smirked. Knowing he was ticklish and might even potentially tickle you back, you couldn't help but store this information in your head for another time.

"Don't you even think about it," Blade said, probably noticing the smirk on your face.

"I wasn't thinking anything~" you sang, but of course both of you knew that wasn't true!

I love sharing my headcanons so have some more (it is I, the Etho weighted blanket anon, that one came from me projecting onto Etho.)

- Ren cannot lay on his back around anyone, they’ll all just start giving him belly rubs. He secretly loves it. Headpats too.

- Hermits are super competitive, they have had competitions for literally everything, including who can come up with the most creative insults and who can get Xisuma, Tango or Impulse to bed the fastest.

- Gem makes bracelets for everyone, all the time, for no reason other than she can. Recently she’s been adding lots of shells and fish beads to the bracelets.

- Zedaph makes custom arcade machines/games for the hermits, but they just randomly appear in peoples bases rather than him actually giving it to them.

- All the redstoners are banned from cooking for anyone else. Not because they’re bad at cooking, but because for some reason they all collectively believe redstone makes good seasoning (it doesn’t).

- When jumpscared Doc will just fall over like those fainting goats.

- Keralis is allergic to chocolate.

- Pearl will climb things just to hang upside down off of them.

- Bdubs and Etho will both regularly climb things as they both enjoy the feeling of being high up, they tease each other to hell and back about it.

- You could ask Joe the same questions multiple times but you will never get the same answer.

- Stress and Grian both stress bake, there were a lot of baked goods being handed out during season 8.

scar Definitely stress bakes too. and the hermits love his baking but a solid 30% of the time he will have added a completely insane ingredient that makes them completely inedible. most of the time people fight over his cookies, but it's always a bit of a gamble accepting something new from him because you might end up passing out on the floor.

I liked this final shot as a transition into the main story as well as a way to highlight the principal cast for the arc! (Also like, so many hand placed pins. AND Chad and Poppy's sexy calendar (which should be set to feburary but the feb swatch has her mother on it sakjdkajd))

To further on the horrors (pun not indented) of the anon that talked about the 1992 Dracula movie-

Apparently during the filming of the scene where the crew finds Mina after she drank Dracula's blood, Winona (who played Mina) said that Coppola was shouting "SLUT!" and "WHORE! behind the camera to make her look guilty.

He *even demanded that the other actors do the same*, Anthony Hopkins (Van Helsing) and Keanu Reeves (Jonathan Harker) were apparently the only two that straight up refused to do so.

When I went to look this up, I found this article which kinda walks that back, though certainly not all the way. More whisper than shout, "horrible stuff" in character to make her sad/teary rather than specific sexual insults. And it seems some of it was possibly tied up in tension with Oldman, who Ryder didn't get along with on set. But who knows how much of all that was publicity related (on either side I suppose, shock value or smoothing things over, though I'd definitely defer towards believing the victim). I don't ever really read interviews or follow celebrity news or behind the scenes type stuff, so I am not particularly prepared to play detective about this kind of story, nor is lengthy discussion of these sorts of things my preferred way to spend my time. But honestly, regardless of if it was as bad or worse as what you said, or as mild/milder than the article I pulled up, it's still unpleasant either way.

As a rule I am highly skeptical of the efficacy of any 'method acting' techniques where an actor or director subjects their coworkers to any kind of nastiness in the name of an 'authentic reaction'. Their jobs are to act, you should expect them to act, not try to force them to react genuinely. If they want something more genuine then they can request it - "surprise me at some point so I can get off a really good scream" or whatever. Or you can ask them if it would be okay ("can I jumpscare you for real at some point" or whatever, doesn't have to be specific enough to ruin the genuine react you want). Similarly if you wanna stay in character because it helps you, sure, but don't make that other peoples' problem. It's like that one post going around talking about how you almost never hear of people method acting nice and kind characters, only assholes. Can really feel like grabbing onto justification to be cruel. Even if it 'works', that doesn't make it worth it, nor make it the only way to get that good take.

HORROR MOVIES I WATCHED IN OCTOBER & MY OPINIONS:

Detention (recommended by this anon and this poll) — This movie SLAYED! Ngl, the plot was a bit confusing at times, just because they jumped around in the timeline (and the universes) a bunch, but the story had me hooked! My perceptions of characters changed a lot throughout the story, and I still have mixed feelings about Fang, but the ending definitely redeemed her imo. Overall, I’m SUPER grateful to the lovely anon that suggested I watch this! A solid 7.5/10.

Get Out (recommended by @hearsthephone and this poll) — I thoroughly enjoyed it. The ending had me on the edge of my seat — one of the best horror movie endings I’ve seen! It was interesting because I didn’t fully know what was going on until, like, 3/4 of the movie, but… WOW. It was really good! The ending is still replaying in my mind lolol. A solid 7/10.

Coraline — I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it before this month lol. Does this even count as a horror movie? Maybe it doesn’t. I feel like it’s not fair to rate LMAO. But I’ll just say this: it was good, but I can’t say I really understand what all the hype was about. Like, I’m glad I watched it, and I enjoyed it, but it’s not like it’s one of my favorites. A solid 6/10.

The Conjuring — This one was SO GOOD!! This is probably one of my favorite horror movies that I’ve seen in a long time. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time lolol. I was clinging to my friend, and we BOTH jumped at a lot of the jumpscares. I think this movie perfectly balanced psychological thriller with horror, which is really hard to do. But I loved it so much!! I’m going to give this a solid 9/10!

The Exorcist (recommended by @sheldoney) — This one was.. good. I watched the 1973 version, which I THINK is what I was supposed to watch? It gave me all the background I needed. I honestly feel like the backstory was too long and extensive, and I found myself getting bored within the exposition. I will say, though — this movie is CREEPY. I definitely felt creeped out watching it. The one scene that actually made me cringe (in disgust, but it’s a good thing when it comes to horror) was when the demon threw up. I don’t know why, but vomit grosses me out a LOT more than blood does lolol. Nevertheless, it was good, and I’m glad I watched it. But that being said, I’m not sure how invested I am in the franchise as a whole. I’ll give this a solid 7/10.

We know from the Secret Distance event that Mizuki doesn't mind horror at all! In fact they're quite interested in it, and they will delve into the genre without being pushed to do it by others!

And since they have already invited(baited) the others of the group to a haunted tour before, it isn't too much of a stretch to think that they would watch a horror film with their friend!

If by chance, they knew that you were a scaredy cat, they would for sure act ignorant! After all, it wouldn't look good if you realized that it was all planned for you to take the fall...

Because Mizuki is for sure doing it to see your reactions! They have heard of your reputation, but they can't be satisfied with just hearing stories! They have to see your terrified face and actions for themselves!

"Ehh?? What are you talking about?? I totally get scared as well! You're not gonna be the only one all tensed up in the couch! What, you don't believe me?? Oh, the special trip? Nah nah, that doesn't count! That one wasn't even scaryyy, come on!"

Eventually, they convince you (They will convince you.) To go to their house and watch it later! Even though you're nervous about the whole thing, the seamstress has an uncanny ability to calm people down, no matter what!

They set everything up as if it were a normal visit, but when it's time to finally watch, they will grab some popcorn and lay back on the couch, showing off just how relaxed they are! That's when you may realize that they might not experience it the same way as you...

They will hold in their giggles when they see you so tensed up in the couch, not even grabbing the popcorn they're eating and making so much noise with. It would help, if it wasn't for the fact that the movie they chose is one of the actually scary ones, not the half assed or 'so bad it's good' ones.

They will sneak glances at you, to see how much you're struggling to keep calm and silent, while they watch with their own amused face! Yeah, horror doesn't faze Mizuki much, and although they may feel s little jumpy at times, it's really no big deal for them!

Although that may be partially because of their acting! What better way to see your best reactions than acting as if the movie isn't even that scary? And what better way to claim that than showing no fear?

And it works flawlessly! The first jumpscare comes, and as you jump in your seat, they can't resist the urge to laugh any longer! The seamstress bursts into cackles as they see you, still reeling from the shocks, pausing the movie to enjoy this moment more!

"Ahahaahahaha! Oh, oh my god I can't b-breathe... Haaaah, oh that was too good! What, don't look at me like that! You were the one who accepted to watch the movie, knowing fully well that you're a scaredy cat, and I'm a teaser who enjoys the reactions of my friends! Man, this was sooooo worth it!"

They may take a secret photo to tease you later with, and they also may pay your head to make you feel a little better while still teasing your behavior! It's an opportunity they know will probably never come again, and they make sure to enjoy it to the fullest!

Once you calm down, they offer to stop the movie there since they're satisfied, and you're free to spend the night as a normal sleepover! Well, normal as long as you can deal with their endless teasing and boasting about being stronger against horror than you...

If they notice that you're not doing so well though, they will take it easy! They got the entertainment they wanted, now it's time to take care of you! Comfort food and drinks for you as they lead you to the bed!

They also may do something in return for you to regain your trust! Maybe they will offer to take you shopping and pay for a set, maybe a preview of a N25 project, anything really! It's, in their words, as thanks for showing such wonderful reactions!

The memory of that moment will never fade, especially not with them reminding you every other day, but neither will the moments of cooling down afterwards! And now that you think about it, you feel way less tense than before after letting it all out...

i’m sorry to hear about your kitty’s itching! cats do become sensible to environmental changes so it may be that. one of the strays we feed gets runny nose/eyes when there’s a lot of pollen. i heard that giving them bee pollen helps with their environmental allergies. but i haven’t really tried it. maybe something with her food? my senior dog (who passed about two years ago) became allergic to chicken, turkey, and like a million other things) at like 10yrs old. so if it persists that could maybe be a cause? idk but i hope she feels better soon, i hate seeing sick kitties :((

to end the cat discourse, your neighbor!! im so frustrated when people let cats just roam free in environments where they shouldn’t. i’m not really in favor of outdoor/indoor or just outdoor kitties (aside from stray babies ofc, i wish i could take them all💔). my experience with cats outdoors (like not mine but the strays i’ve seen) is always sooooo negative that i just wouldn’t do it, even if where i lived was more appropriate. i had a neighbor (i never interacted with her) who literally abandoned her male intact cat and he just went around getting everyone pregnant and crying at her house. i haven’t seen him for a while bc he wasn’t really a regular (if he was i would’ve found a way to neuter him at least) but that’s so freaking sad, man. i really can’t with people who leave their pets to fend for themselves. so yeah your neighbor really sucks, and the kitty fights with your baby? whaaat? that’s crazy.

On another note, it's interesting how nowadays the JTK origin story creepypasta is universally agreed upon to be rlly bad and they talk about how it had bad grammar. The thing is, when I was at the very beginning of my CP phase, I didn't know shit about English, the only thing I had at hand were the translations of the most famous Pasta's and the translators rlly didn't fuck around when it came to grammar and localisation. I honestly think that if the translations hadn't been THAT good, I wouldn't have liked Jeff or the Pastas as much as I did, like these damned translations dragged me into the creepypasta fandom with no mercy. What also didn't help was the Yassification of every pasta in the form of fanart 😔 although some of them were still scary (I once saw a fanart of JTK, with the OG scary image face, smacked on top of an unreasonably well drawn feminine body in a skimpy bikini 💀💀). He was referring to Ranboo, who was obsessed with lemon demon, and had pulled this prank on him lots and lots of times. But you doing it, still made him laugh. The chat was full of ‘KEKW’s, laughing at your energy and Tubbo’s done face. He ended shortly after, making a comment like ‘Well, maybe the reason I like you so much is because you are basically my best friend in another form’ ( Ranboo ) which made you laugh.

He’s probably on someone else’s stream, like on Phil’s. They were just playing on Origins SMP. You walk up behind him grinning widely as he has no clue. You put the speaker next to his headphones and clicked the ‘play’ button on your phone. ‘TWO TRUCKS HAVING-‘ was heard through the speaker, making Tommy flinch, and even Philza which he was on vc with. Philza broke down laughing, him knowing exactly what was going on over the other line and who did it, knowing you too well. His chat was going wild and was making clips because of Tommy’s funny reaction. He first squeled in a high-pitched voice, then yelled: ‘Y/NNNNN!!!!!!!’ and lots of laughs after. ‘REALLY?!! TWO TRUCKS DOING. THAT?! WHAT THE F IS THAT’ he screamed, in between wheezes. ‘YOU DONT KNOW THAT?! He was mid VR stream, playing some horror game and was absolutely terrified, feeling a jumpscare coming up. When the tension had builders up to its highest points and the music of the game stopped, you played the song and the too loud lyrics bursted through his room. ‘AAAaAaAaaAGHhH!!‘ you heard hun yell, and fall over on the ground. You laughed hard at him, him laughing too, not believing the joke you just made. ‘YOU HAVE JUST BEEN JUMPSCARED BY YOUR FAVORITE ARTIST HOW DOES THAT FEEL? HM?’ You yelled at him. He was still recovering from the intense laughing fit and almost heart attack you gave him, ‘I ahhum, I AM BEYOND SAD-‘ he screamed at you. You laughed for another 10 minutes long. It was a clip people put in compilations of you two, just how funny it was and how Ranboo had genuinely fallen to the ground. After the one time this happened it became a habit, every now and then he would jumpscare you with the song, and then you again. You would always laugh your asses off, it still being funny as it had became an inside joke between the two of you.

“Fuck this game!“ Y/N yells out in frustration as she is met with the screen informing her of her failure - aka death - for the fifth time in the past hour. “Has anyone ever even passed night four? I’m sure the king of FNAF Markiplier has but I’m also sure he hasn’t done it one a livestream! And my big mouth really had to go ahead and swear not to end this stream until I pass this God forsaken night, ughhh!“

Typically, Y/N’s quite the fearful rat when playing horror games, especially when home alone like right now, but this FNAF game has gradually turned her into a raging gamer instead. Not raging as in kicking ass at the game but as in the game kicking the ass of her sanity. She’s been struggling with this specific night for a while - the better half of her previous stream and an hour into today’s. Well, seeing how little progress she’s making with each try, it’s gonna be way more than an hour into today’s livestream as well. She’ll be lucky if she manages to get past it before hitting the three hour mark or just rage quitting which she’s bound to do eventually if her gameplay keeps going at this rate.

Another try later, she’s once again jumpscared into a failure screen that’s practically mocking her at this point. Throwing her arms above her head, Y/N sighs heavily, the frustration she’s harboring becoming more and more evident in her body language. “You know what, I need a break. Lemme see what you guys are saying in the chat.”

Scrolling through comments upon comments greeting her, sending her compliments and some trolling her with some hateful remarks she comes across a question which makes her brows furrow. That same question is repeated by a few other people but they fly by so quickly she doesn’t manage to catch the people’s usernames.

“A bruise on my arm? Where?“ She says out loud as she inspects both her arms, looking for what her chat had been talking about. That’s when her eyes eyes land on the purple mark on the skin just above her right elbow. She laughs, “Oh this? I know I’m a clumsy person but Corpse is to blame for this one.“

Little does the girl know, her boyfriend, who’s currently in his own apartment instead of camping out at hers, is watching this very stream, laughing his ass off remembering how that bruise came to be.

His laughter is cut short though when he catches glimpse of Y/N’s chat which suddenly floods with concern from her fans - assumptions and allegations of him being an abusive boyfriend starting to pollute the previously cheerful comment section. His stomach turns, for many reasons, each reason making it tighten in a worse and more painful knot. 

The first blow comes from people actually coming up with such a thing. How could they even allow their minds to wander to such a dark and disgusting place where he’d be even remotely an abuser.

The second blow to his heart is delivered by the fact that people believed it. How and why could people believe such an absurd idea?! How low did these people think of him? What kind of piece of shit did he come off as to some people?

And the third is the mental image the idea gives him. It’s such a fucked up scene, he can’t even conjure it up, he can’t mentally picture it. Hell, he could and would never even raise his voice at Y/N. He’d never dare upset her or hurt her feelings let alone hurt her....like that!

“Whoa, whoa, whoa!“ Y/N’s gasp reaches him as though it was meant to fish him out of the downward spiral he started going down with these overwhelmingly dark thoughts, “What’s with this nonsense some of y’all are spewing in the chat?!“ She sounds downright angry and irritated, ready to fight whoever will continue spreading these rumors about her lovely boyfriend whom she absolutely adores. “Guys, I mean, seriously?! Do you have any idea what you’re talking about and WHO you’re talking about? Do we have the same Corpse in mind here?
