Now, this is just getting into person headcanons, I have fairly specific and fairly board ideas about it.

The Magnificent

Peter’s title came first, I think. It started among the soldiers in the battle between the Narnians and Jadis’ forces. He had barely trained, he was young, he stood his ground and fought regardless.

Later, he showed his skill as a High King, in many ways. He was a great leader, a kind ruler, a strong soldier, even though he didn’t love the blade. And even though he wouldn’t think so, when they met him, everyone knew, he was Magnificent.

The Gentle

Susan was first thought of as gentle by the mice who untied Aslan on the stone table. Despite her fear of mice, she didn’t hurt them. It was soon after Aslan gifted the mice with their role as Talking Beasts, they spread the tale, and the small Beasts knew she would be fair and kind to them. She avoided the battle all that she could, she worried for her family, she cared for the small.

Perhaps she had a bit of a temper, but those near her knew she was Gentle.

The Just

Edmund never felt worthy of this title even years later. He knew how it was to be controlled by evil, to be under the influence of someone with more poor, to be a betrayer. When those who broke the law, when those who had been hurt, when those who were apologetic came before the throne, his siblings trusted his judgement. He was first called this when a young supporter of the White Witch was brought before them. He only helped him find his way again.

Despite it all, he was Just.

The Valiant

Lucy’s title caught on later than Peter’s, and was mainly spread by things that Susan said. There was no question of the young queen’s bravery, as Aslan himself said that if she was any braver, she would be a lioness. She was the most beloved, and everyone knew her heart was true.

Lucy, as brave as a lioness, was Valiant from the day she stepped into Narnia

📻𖤐 Like do I think it would bother him? No, he wouldn’t mind you tagging along wherever he went as long as you didn’t bother him too much or get in the way of things but there are just times where he requires or wants to be alone. Which is where Husker would come in lol

📻𖤐 He probably wouldn’t leave you with Angel, even if Husk wasn’t available for whatever reason he’d just get Charlie to look after you while he was away.

📻𖤐 I feel like he cares/loves in an odd way.. like he wants to tear you apart and lick up all your delicious, sweet blood but in an affectionate way??? If that makes sense?? Remember that pomegranate cannibalism metaphor that went around on TikTok for a bit there? Think that.

📻𖤐 of course, he wouldn’t do that, he wants to keep you around.

Okok I’m done yapping about silly radio man lol, onto the fic

Unfortunately, today was one of those days you couldn’t tag along with where Alastor went, he was attending an overlord meeting and obviously you not being an overlord it meant that you couldn’t go with him despite all of your protests and begging.

Before his departure, he sat you down at the bar with Husker and gave you a little pat on the head, telling you that he’d be back shortly and walking out of the hotel doors.

The grumpy cat demon poured himself a drink as he stared at you, this wasn’t exactly the first time Alastor had left him on “babysitting” duty with you and he didn’t exactly mind it. You were quite sweet for somebody who landed themselves in a place like hell.

“Where’s he off to this time?” Husker asked before taking a sip of the alcoholic beverage he held in his hand, attempting to make some form of conversation with you.

“Oh.. just some kind of silly overlord meeting…” You mumbled out a short reply whilst looking a bit glum. He simply nodded in response, setting his glass down on the bar countertop to mix you up a little something as well.

Husk didn’t understand your attachment to the Radio Demon to be completely frank with you. He and a lot of others viewed Alastor as something to fear, respect, and try to avoid contact with the best they could… so seeing someone who enjoyed his company was a foreign idea to him. But he wouldn’t judge you for it. It wasn’t exactly his business anyways and at least he seemed to treat you decently.

“Don’t stress it kid, he’ll be back soon. He keeps his promises I’ll give him that much.” Husk attempted to reassure you, giving a slight smile as he slid a drink down to you.

You smiled back weakly and nodded, taking a deep breath as you grabbed the drink he had slid over to you. You took a sip and it tasted like a screwdriver, not too bad of a drink and it would probably take your mind off of things a little bit if you had a few of them. Which was probably the goal Husker was trying to reach.. he couldn’t imagine separation anxiety to be very fun.

Later into the night once you got a few drinks in you, you started to forget all about why you were upset and/or stressed out in the first place. Chatting with Husk about random stuff and occasionally mentioning and talking about a person or two.

Husk wished there were more nights like this, more time spent with you… and who knows? Maybe you’ll be visiting the bar more often for him after tonight if he was lucky. He was pretty good at playing his cards right, after all.

He vapes, and thinks he's so cool cause he can do "vape tricks" and he makes people watch him while he does them

Someone once gave him apple cider, told him it was alcohol, and he pretended to be drunk.

His phone gallery is filled with random photos, like there'll be a low quality picture of a tree and then right beside it a picture of a ceiling. Just random stuff

When he first started working for slenderman, he REFUSED to live in the manor and lived outside. Had a "weeb" phase when he was in middle school and he still has nightmares about "naruto running" away from his bullies.

Hoodie:

He can make a killer sandwich (lol) he's not the best at cooking other things, but if you get him to make you a sandwich, he'll bless your taste buds.

He loves karaoke, he can't sing for shit but he still does it anyway

He acts like a millennial (I'm sorry) not to the point where it's completely unbearable, but he will send people "relatable memes" every now and then

He enjoys online arguments, he'll never participate but he will scroll through different threads of people arguing for hours on end

He blushes when he lies, he's a scarily good liar but if you ever want to catch him in a lie, point out the fact that his cheeks are red.

He has a NASTYYY side eye, and sometimes he'll scrunch up his nose while side eyeing someone just to make it sting even more

If someone says a word that reminds him lf a song he likes, it'll automatically get stuck in his head and he'll hum it all day after that.

he isn't weak when it comes to stinky smells, but if it's stinky enough to make him gag he's extremely overdramatic.

he learned how to sew because of how much he ripped his jeans, shirts, etc.

Sleeps so hard sometimes people think he's dead, he'll just be laying there looking casket ready but everyone is too scared to check on him cause he gets super grumpy when woken up.

he always keeps a little money hidden somewhere, even if it's just a 5 dollar bill.

he's superstitious, if he sees you attempt to walk under a ladder he will physically drag you back and make you walk around it.

he has a pair of brass knuckles which he only saves for "special occasions" they're his favorite things ever, he even named them.

he only uses his phone to call, text, or search something up, and that's it.

he doesn't even have YouTube installed.

So I've been thinking about Glorfindel's horse recently, okay? (I'm listening to these delightful audio books, and just got to Rivendell.) And I am as ever caught by the inconsistency of Asfaloth's tack with Legolas's later "lol what's a saddle? get rid of that shit man, I'm an elf!" schtick in Rohan. And the question that all of that (plus Gandalf and Shadowfax of course) engenders is why the fuck wasn't Glorfindel "riding elvish style" then?

While the Doylist explanation of "Tolkien hadn't come up with that idea yet + Frodo needed to be able to both hold-onto and steer Asfaloth and he isn't an elf so he had to have a saddle" makes sense, it's obviously not satisfying from an in-universe standpoint, is it?

(And somebody made some extremely good points laying-out a very convincing logistical explanation recently, and I like it quite like a lot, and might well use that in fics myself sometime because it's splendid and seems extremely legit, and opens up some fun things to play around with re: elvish history and culture; but while it's an extremely satisfying answer in terms of Accurate World Building Detail, it's never felt entirely viscerally satisfying to me in terms of Tolkienian Style, if you follow me.)

So I posit: what if the reason why Asfaloth had Conveniently Mortal-Appropriate Tack during that section of story was for the convenience of mortals?

Specifically, the Dúnedain.

What if when the Elves of Rivendell are doing something that involves (or might potentially involve) both horses and their human allies, they put enough tack on their horses to allow one of the Rangers to be able to use that horse in a pinch? That would make sense, right? Just a simple little practical precaution!

Imagine being in a situation where you want to stick one of your human companions on your horse for some reason, or you want one of them to look after your horse for a little while you go off and do a thing, etc etc, but you can't because there aren't any reins. And now you're fucked. What a silly self-inflicted problem that could be avoided with just a little bit of planning ahead!

So, because Glorfindel knew that the Rangers would also be searching around looking for Frodo and/or evidence of the Nine, he put just enough extra tack on Asfaloth that if he, for instance, found an injured mortal in the wild, he could put them on his horse and send them back to Rivendell without him...just as a random example of a hypothetical situation that might happen.

(Anyway, that's the headcanon I'm going to be running with from here out, I think. Also I've gone and retroactively added a little scene revolving around this explanation to my Celebrimbor Fellowship AU fic, for anyone who's been interested in that story.)

Little things I've noticed on my rewatch of 1x01

So, it's been a while since I've actually watched the show and I've started to miss Crowley and Aziraphale something fierce. So I've finally started at the beginning and here are some small things that stood out or that I didn't notice to that extend before. Nothing revolutionary, but maybe you'll enjoy / be devastated by it anyway.

Eden: Crawley saw Aziraphale before their talk on the wall since he mentions seeing him with a sword. They kept hanging around the garden for a while, but haven't talked that much since Az asks Crawley's name?

After receiving the Antichrist: Crowley is devastated. The way he days "Already?!" gets me every time. Is barely able to keep it together infront of Hastur and Ligur (terrific acting by David here). Immediately tries to call Aziraphale.

Park, going up the stairs: "It's not some little temptation I've asked you to cover for me while you're in Edinburgh for the festival". Their arrangement is so casually lived in by then. And the way Aziraphale lights up when he's invited to lunch. Also, Crowley's hair is stunning in the sun here.

After lunch: Az gets totally distracted by Crowley's company, forgets all about Armageddon or their disagreement over it. Wants to open a bottle for a "special occasion", tone indicating inside joke / hidden meaning. There's a theory about that being sexual, but while I support that headcanon I think it's more of a joke along the lines that it isn't actually a special occasion, because they drink together all the time.

Infront of the bookshop: "this is purely social" Sure Az, as if that makes it any better in heaven's judgement. Now you're just being silly! (see what I did there?)

Making the pact: How cute is Crowley here?!? I already knew that and think about it constantly, but seeing it again is something else still. I mean, seriously:

Babysitting Warlock: How somehow Nanny Ashtorath is able to sing so much better than I've ever heard David Tennant do (no offense) is a proper mystery to me.

Meeting on the bus: Why don't they talk on their job as nanny and gardener lol?They must have endless opportunities and still they hang out even more. Ok, probably more like a plot hole for coolness than being meant romantically on purpose here, but still.

Bus and dinosaur park: Crowley can't bring himself to tell Az the whole ugly truth about the antichrists power / the dog not to frighten him too much. This is really sweet and very telling about how he sees him as kind of naive and innocent. Also, he's protective snek. Another amazing thing here is how he doesn't even consider killing the Antichrist himself although he is been working against hell all along anyway. Ties nicely to the bandstand scene later.

In the shop: "Crowley: Would I lie to you? - Aziraphale: Obviously, you're a demon, that's what you do". While his is pretty hurtful towards Crowley and typically blindsided of Aziraphale, it's also so devastatingly accepting of him as well.

In the shop at the end ("he's named the dog"): Crowley is really, really afraid and that respectively makes Az nervous (the looming doom in his delivery of "welcome to the end times").

That was all for this round... In general it blew my mind how much of their story is already in episode one!

And I'll never get tired of mentioning how David and Micheal disappear completely into their characters. I try to admire their work in the moment, but I keep forgetting it's them. Only because I have seen so much of them by now can I spot them as the actors in tiny moments that last mere half-seconds. That's always a weird triumph. "ha! I've seen a glimpse of Micheal's smile there!" or "the way Crowley says 'helly hellhound' sounded very David" and that's basically it.

It's not really a question, but an idea popped into my head, I watched Days of Future Past recently, imagine a student from the future, for some reason (a power I don't know) manages to go back in time and become best friends with her favorite teacher when he was younger (Peter obviously!) I don't know if anything can come out of this, but in my head the idea was brilliant lol 😝

Days of Future Past is so cozy to me. There’s just something about the way the time period is presented - with all those lovable characters - that makes it feel so genuine and fun. I’m a goofball with a childlike imagination. Nothing is more comforting to me than imagining being there tbh. As silly as it sounds.

This concept absolutely warms my heart, since it fulfills that silly dream.

Anyway, I have some thoughts under the cut !!

Peter Maximoff headcanons - Student reader goes back in time and meets their favorite, speedster teacher in his teen years!

We know Peter eventually becomes a teacher in canon. I’m not really sure what he teaches, since they never really clarified. But there’s no doubt in my mind he’d be great at his job.

Mr. Maximoff is definitely a more laid back kinda teacher

I do imagine he’s the type to playfully mess with any students who act out of line. I’ve had teachers like that before in the past. The ones who take no shit and lightheartedly tease students. That’s absolutely on brand for Peter

I also get the vibe he’d be so “how do you do fellow kids” about everything

And the students would think he’s cool anyway. I mean, he’s fast. He loves cool music - and probably some really cool movies/shows/games too!

I imagine he’d deck out his classroom/office in all kinds of pop culture memorabilia. Very similar to the way he decorated his basement back when he lived at his mom's

Reader as a mutant student would be no different than the other kids. Y’all know you’d think he was the coolest teacher there ever was. Some of you might even look up to him! And maybe also develop a harmless crush. He is handsome, after all.

Imagine your surprise - after you’ve gone back in time for mission with some of the X-Men. It’s part of your training. You never thought you’d get the chance to time travel, of all things. Or, if we're following DoFP canon; maybe you went back in time with Logan? You're one of the last surviving mutants, and your mutation is useful somehow. It could go either way!

But Mr. Maximoff is there in the past. Only, he’s seventeen, acting on impulse, and being a playful nuisance.

He thinks you’re weird as hell. You totally bizarre, future kid. But you’re also pretty alright...since you think he's so cool 'n all. Most people just think he's a freak. And hey, you're a mutant like him! He doesn't know a lot of mutants yet!

And how the heck are you from the future - but you somehow know all the bands he likes, the movies he’s into, the shows he watches, even the games he plays??

Spoiler alert - it’s because Mr. Maximoff has a tendency to show off all his favorite things in class. Dude can’t go a single day without referencing Galaga, or Star Wars, or David Bowie, or whatever else

If you’re allowed to disclose any info about the future, you’ll probably tell him he gets a teaching job. Not only that, but the kids all love him

To which he responds with a - tsh, yeah. Right.

Why would he ever become a teacher?? He hates school! He can’t ever focus in class! His grades are the worst, and he bombs every test! C’mon…no way! What’re you tryin’ to pull his leg???

Y-You’re pulling his leg, right?

It’d be dope if you got the chance to hang out with him for a little bit. You could follow him around while he got into his usual, kleptomaniac shenanigans

His laugh is so restrained at first. I’m talking grit teeth, little giggles seeping out.

Buuuuuut once the person tickling him finds his hips, he just can’t hold it in anymore :(

This duck believes this man is no squealer, and he is “a man” about his laughter. (If he’s gonna be forced to laugh, he’s gonna at least sound manly.)

I also think that he’s only ticklish if he’s tickled by people he trusts.

So like when Rill decided to be a silly goose at the captain’s meeting and try to tickle all of the captains, (DONT GET ME ON A TANGENT ABOUT VANGEANCE’S TICKLISH NECK AND EARS) Nozel doesn’t even blink when it’s his turn. (He’ll never admit that watching Fuego slowly lose his composure warmed his heart- anyways.)

BUT if Fuego, Yami or William were to try and get him. Oh no he’s gone. He’s gone with the wind.

The backs of his knees are as bad as his shoulders and hips. No one really knows this except Fuegoleon and he doesn’t go for it often cause last time he did he got a heel to the face.

Far too sassy for his own good; he speaks before he thinks and it leads to him getting wrecked by Fuego and Yami (and by extension, William, Mereoleona and Dorothy; y'all can't tell me she doesn’t tease him with tickles- she called him a softie to his face wjsnnwnsnwns)

When they were kids Fuego and Mereo would ambush him a lot. Even as a baby he was far too serious. Most of the time though it was a case of Fuego running for the hills and using Nozel as a shield/sacrifice to Mereo’s antics. (Some say he still does it to this day ~( -3-)~)

When Yami found out- OOH when Yami found out y’all…

Bored in a meeting and sitting beside Nozel? Yami likes to randomly start poking him in the ribs and waist- never quite going for his hips but getting CLOSE. Fuegoleon- usually on the other side of Nozel- joins in and together they drive the grumpy bird insane. Lots of muffled curses and barely restrained twitches; the rest of the captains can see it but keep to themselves in barely restrained laughter. Smiles all across the table- some more hidden than others.

The idea of Rill tickling him and Nozel just turning slowly to look at him with a 🤨 expression- only for Jack to be all: “No no- go HERE!” Before squeezing the hell out of Nozel’s hip earning a hilarious noise is LIFE HELP! (Also him getting soft over Fuego makes me melt AHH!)

He’ll deny he’s ticklish even after that. He’s all: “I’m not ticklish, I just have a…unbearable weakness.” While all flustered and annoyed, threatening to melt the next person who dares call him cute (Yami almost lost the top of his head- lols worth it)

I love the idea of him only being ticklish around those he trusts- word gets out and everyone who makes him laugh is just: “YOU LOVE US!” And he’s all: “Shush.” While flustered hansnnwnsnwnsns You already KNOW Yami’s never letting him live that down hwhsjwjsnwnsnwnns 🤣🤣🤣

It's only really used in the Celestial Realm and the seraphs were the only ones that referred to Marchosias that way, though Lucifer and Simeon have put a conscious effort into not calling her that anymore. Raphael meanwhile is the only seraph that does not call her that at all

One of things I associate with her is parfaits, because I one day randomly decided that she and Mephisto often get parfaits together and gossip talk about RAD News related stuff

The others are stars, because I decided pretty early on that I want her to be fascinated by the night sky which is also why star-related days have a little star on their banner over on @today-in-the-devildom >:) It's kind of ironic though. She is a wingless demon, so even when the stars shift close enough for demons to fly through them, all she can do is watch with longing in her eyes from the ground

Okay, this one is a little tricky to answer, because a) she didn't fall in the classic sence, and b) it requires a lot of background info about how I headcanon things to run in the Celestial Realm

But the short short version is that she was meant to be Raphael's first mission and therefore be killed by him, but he ultimately couldn't bring himself to go through with it and instead helped her escape. She obviously survived, and Raphael was able to avoid punishment

She tried to give it to Lucifer once shortly after the brothers fell, but Lucifer obviously refused to take it. I could explain the reason but it's....long 😭 Just know it's related to something that happened back in the Celestial Realm and she wasn't in the best headspace at the time

Anyway, Barbatos then took it to ensure she wouldn't do anything stupid with it or give it to the next best person and put herself in danger. It's been in his possession ever since and he'll continue to keep it safe until Marchosias decides she wants it back

Right now (aka in the OG timeline) she's considering giving it to my MC. But the idea of giving up so much control over herself is something she still struggles with immensely, despite knowing that my MC wouldn't ever really use it against her in the first place, so she's still debating if she should go through with it or not

what a treat it was to see this in my inbox oh my gosh. i've never thought about this before (very surprisingly) so i had a great time writing it

maitlands engagement headcanons below the cut! i've done this because there are some ring pics and the post got a little bit long hehe

barbara dropped hints for a really long time. and by hints, i mean very blatant statements about how she couldn't wait to settle with adam and start a family together

(he can be a little oblivious, so she had to make sure he got her drift.)

he was a nervous wreck about the whole thing. consulting his friends, family, barbara's family, keeping himself up stressing about it as the days got closer

definitely went and asked barbara's parents for permission to marry her. they love him, so it wasn't a problem. though they didn't say it out loud it was sort of like a "finally!" moment

very supportive, eased his worries, were very very happy for him and for barbara because they were certain she'd say yes of course

she knew it was coming. or she knew Something was coming, anyways, and she definitely had her suspicions about what it was

they went out to dinner somewhere nice. adam didn't want a lot of people to see it (the idea of being clapped at just overwhelms him. he's mortified if restaurants happen to sing to him on his birthday.)

asked her to dress up, and they both did, and they had a lovely dinner that he paid entirely for even though she pushed really hard to at least split the cost with her, come on, honey!! don't be silly!!

they took a walk afterwards, and it was dark by the time they did. stopped at a little ice cream place and ended up on a bench in the park

adam was so obviously anxious. looking back on it, barb teases him about it, but thinks it was so sweet of course

he told her how much he loved her, and after they finished the ice creams they walked home, hand in hand. barbara almost started to think that she was mistaken about something happening until he told her to close her eyes and she heard him pop a bottle of champagne

he was a little bit too vigorous with it and it got all over the floor. making distressed noises while barbara giggled, eyes still closed

he handed her a glass of champagne, and told her to open her eyes, and he was down on one knee with the ring.

she was ecstatic. gasped, immediately teared up. started laughing out of nervousness! she had to put her champagne immediately down (which was part of the reason she started laughing)

he stuttered on the words but asked her straight out, starting with saying that he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. and of course, she said yes.

the ring was simple. nothing gaudy, but very nice. an emerald as the centerpiece stone, with maybe a few small diamonds as accent stones, and a gold band. she showed it off for weeks. he picked perfectly.

they sat on the couch and drank the champagne and cried a little together and didn't stop touching each other in some way for the rest of the night, just keeping contact.

Caregiver. Fretting overprotective caregiver to an anxious crybaby Coryo. 

Definitely leans towards the sappier nicknames, “sweetheart, baby,” occasionally “kiddo.” 

Will spoil Coryo to hell and back. 

Not strict whatsoever, the biggest punishment this man would be willing to give would be a five minute time out. Realistically. He’s also morally against punishments so Coryo would probably have to do something absolutely awful to deserve that.

Definitely better with younger Littles, which is why him and Coryo fit so well together.

Realistically he won’t leave Coryo alone for even a second in headspace, one he’s just clingy like that, and two, he doesn’t want anything happening to him while he’s gone.

Brings Coryo his Ma’s homemade cookies. He knows this boy doesn’t eat as much as he should be.

I always get scared to hc characters as baby regressors - I personally regress in the baby/young toddler area and idk I just get worried I'm projecting too hard so that was a pleasant surprise to see you hc lol - I feel like Little Coryo would be in more of a toddler bracket most of the time but then slip younger when he's tired or emotional - or god forbid, sick.

and YES can we PLEASE discuss Little Coryo's relationship with food because herbfi;erbfuibf - I think he's difficult no matter what, and I feel like it'd be one of the ONLY things he'd 'act out' about - I don't think Little Coryo would really understand why he feels weird about food - definitely whines about being hungry but then won't accept anything offered to him - says that he 'doesn't like' something when Sejanus knows for a FACT he does - stuff like that. Also (as someone who, no matter how badly wishes they did like it, I don't like basically any fruit ever 😭) HOWEVER, I just have a feeling based on nothing, that Little Coryo would love most fruit. Like it's one of the only consistent snack options that will work on him

Coryo definitely plays very intricate imaginative storylines out with his stuffed animals and can never really explain it to Sejanus who would sit and watch and try to figure out what the hell is going on for half an hour

Sejanus my love - so overprotective - so gentle with Little Coryo. He absolutely uses 'sweetheart' and 'baby' all the time. In my opinion, he'd get so proud of anything Little Coryo does and would have such a hard time keeping his regression a secret because he'd just want to brag about his kiddo all the time. Drawings? Reading aloud? Eating? Looking cute? Sejanus is so proud of him! He wants everyone to know that Little Coryo is his! Sejanus would never do/say anything Coryo wouldn't want though - so he just makes sure to praise Little Coryo, all the time.

Completely agree - Sejanus would not be a strict caregiver at all - he does not see the point in punishing Coryo when he could explain why he shouldn't do something - especially when Coryo is going to feel guilty enough already for acting out

Also was thinking earlier about Little Coryo having a NEED to soak up all of Sejanus's attention and was thinking about how through his childhood Tigris had definitely looked out for him, but really they were leaning on each other - and also totally fending for themselves - Tigris was a wonderful cousin but she's barely that much older than Coryo - and then started thinking about how Coryo's mother died in labour, when he was already quite young, which would basically mean that most memories of his mother he has, she'd be pregnant. So pregnant mother and a father who's left to help fight the war when he's VERY young, then two dead parents, a grandmother who's pinning her faith on HIM, and a cousin who's doing her best to look after him, while he grows up scavenging and pretending he's not only fine, but actually living a perfect rich life??? The childhood trauma here is really unmatched - of course he's clingy and a bit of a cry baby when regressed, of COURSE he wants to steal every bit of Sejanus's attention!! When has he ever been the SOLE POINT of someone's attention? ughhh I can't stop thinking about all the fic opportunities.

AAA okie, I couldn’t help myself lol I just have to write this out!!!

Okie so I actually think that Yoko would be the one to suggest a “bathtime” for Wednesday. Idk, I just think that Yoko is the leading role when it comes to trying out new things. Obviously both Enid and Wednesday suggest some things but usually Yoko is coming to the other two with ideas.

So anyway, the first time they try it, Wednesday is obviously nervous and a little embarrassed. I mean, sure they’ve all seen each other naked by now and they’ve been in varying degrees of nudity each time and Wednesday has DEFINITELY been in more compromising positions than this in front of them, but that’s all usually been in sexual situations. This,,, is a whole other level of intimacy and at this point of their relationship (sorta early on in my headcanon) that’s still pretty unfamiliar territory for Wednesday. But, she trusts her girlfriends wholeheartedly and she’s always more than happy to go along with anything they suggest at least once.

So, once the bath is prepared and Wednesday’s about to get in, nerves are getting a little high for the raven. Seeing this, Enid & Yoko come up with a game plan. Enid takes charge of distracting Wednesday, getting her to play around in the bath, making silly faces, all to take the tension out of the shorter girl. Wednesday gets in and sits down, getting easily distracted by a fully black and white rubber duck. This gives Yoko room to handle washing Wednesday.

She takes extra gentle care with the raven’s hair and makes sure it’s well washed and cared for. Throughout this whole process, both Enid & Yoko take turns playing with Wednesday, making her laugh and smile.

When they’re done, Enid helps Wednesday out, wrapping her in a black, fluffy towel and picking her up and carrying her to the bedroom, where they help her dress into pajamas and finally settle into bed.

Safe to say, Wednesday fully enjoys bathtime and it’s a part of the day she begins to look forward to (most of the time).

STOP WAIT THIS IS SO CUTE!!!! I can see Yoko gently washing Wednesday as Enid plays with her and vice versa! Oh my god stop I can’t stop thinking about this now I just know this is a core memory for Wednesday that she’ll remember whenever she misses her mommy and daddy. Being this close and intimate with her partners just makes Wednesday much more closer and inseparable to them.

Now Wednesday wants bathtime every night! She looks forward to it. She wants to spend so much time with her girlfriends in the tub. And after they clean her up they smother her with kisses and tell her they’re so proud of her for being such a clean girl! Wednesday loves being called that. She loves making her mommy and daddy so proud 🥺🥺🥺

After the first time they do bath time, they get all cleaned up and ready for bed and the two of them sand which Wednesday in the middle of the of course. Wednesday gets all sentimental. And she hopes that they won’t leave her. Ever. Which to the vampire and werewolf reassures her that they’re with her together forever. ♥️

I’m not offended, everyone is entitled to their own opinions! I was speaking to my personal experience and am the first to admit I can’t fathom the idea of not caring about my siblings. I’m not saying people are wrong if they have a different experience, I absolutely recognize the importance of setting healthy boundaries with family. There isn’t one universal relationship that all siblings experience; lots of people go no contact with family members because it’s the best thing they can do to protect themselves! That being said, what concerns me about some of the headcanons about the Black brothers having a bad relationship is that it can start to get in to the realm of victim blaming.

When we’re writing from the character’s POV Sirius/Regulus resenting the other brother for staying/leaving is completely understandable. That being said, when readers start to say one of them is terrible for trying to survive what is often interpreted as an abusive household you get in to a more grey zone. No one should ever be encouraging children to do something that they personally don’t feel safe doing in an abusive situation. This isn’t directed at you, I’m not suggesting that’s what you were saying, but my day job is a social worker so I feel entitled to say this.

I can’t speak for OP, obviously, but I think they were just speaking to a particular headcanon they dislike. I definitely have seen people wielding the idea of “canon” to justify only one idea of a character which I think is silly because we know very little canonically about these characters. I don’t think it was an aggressive comment but it is typically considered rude in fandom to comment on someone’s post calling them out for a personal fandom rant. Tumblr is a space to cultivate your own experience; if you feel like people are making you feel shitty for your personal family experience you should absolutely block away. This particular fandom is exhausting at the best of times given how much conflict there is; don’t feel like you have to consume content that makes you feel bad. Sibling relationships are not a one size fit all kind of thing and don’t let fandom make you think otherwise!

(no seriously my most self-indulgent headcanon is that so much of kokichi's bullshit was completely unplanned. like they wrote the characters and some of their progression but they did NOT plan for this so every time some more crazy bullshit happens and tsumugi's got her whole "omg O_O that's so weird guys!!" schtick going it's almost COMPLETELY genuine because internally she's genuinely just going "what the fuck??? i did not sign up for this shit." layers upon layers of pretending. also it's my silly little way of letting kokichi win in my brain. because he DID confuse the mastermind. even if it was mostly just a series of inconveniences.)

anyway your brain is iconic. got me rotating.

im still not over how many crying sprites this guy has - and i also think it's pretty clear when he's fake crying and when he isn't and he certainly was crying for real after the fourth trial.

i think it's very wonderful how emotional he actually is - like, yes, he's logical, smart and he can be cold af. but he also gets happy and sad, he gets devastated and super angry, he gets annoyed and he gets proud. and sure, sometimes he does exaggerate and he lies (a lot) - but i don't think it's all lies. i think he likes to pretend like it is though. and well, what's that one quote... "he wears a mask and his face grows to fit it" or smth like that

and i think that's an important aspect - because no matter how much you tell yourself that it's just a role, a mask - in the end you're still the one doing everything. you are how you act.

and i think kokichis very self aware in this aspect. ch 4 happens and he knows, this isn't something he can come back from. he fucked up beyond repair. and while he did already believe himself to be the villain, and perhaps this was a self fulfilling prophecy of a kind, i think actually having something like basically killing two people on your conscience gives it a whole different weight.

i think he had to confront the reality at this point and i think it made him despair a bit - which then leads to the kamikaze plan. (because why does someone who was just willing to sacrifice two people for his own survival suddenly choose to basically kill himself? and trust someone else to end the game?)

i love the hc that kokichi did genuinely derail the whole game! i think it's credible enough too, considering the absolute mess that was chapter 6.

and monokuma sometimes really seemed to have personal beef with him which to me says that he was actually getting pissed at him lol

tsumugi also seemed to be quite wary of him - though you can also interpret that as her setting him up as the antagonist ig. i think it was both.
