they coined whitemisia im dead (https://www.tumblr.com/taboowinters/746846646555607040/whitemisia-experiencer-coining-flag?source=share)
skull emoji. the Worst part is that they didn't even coin whitemisia, the term existed before this flag. this is just for people who..."experienced" whitemisia💀

Lately I’ve been feeling a lot of stuff (like the past few months lately) and that “stuff” is a downplayed version of “a sea of emotion and turmoil” because of what is happening to the Palestinian people in Gaza and in Palestine in general.
This week marks a global strike for Palestine- no buying shit unless it’s absolutely necessary, no going anywhere unless it’s absolutely necessary, and sharing the hell out of all content coming straight out of Palestine.
On a lesser note, but still something I’ve seen a lot since October: there are MANY white queer creators who have either completely ignored any of the ongoing genocides occurring right now, or they’ve shared tiny amounts in places where people won’t see the material as easily (i.e. sharing one vague post on Reddit *coughs in John Green*, sharing stuff only in stories and making zero solid posts/videos or making any actual stances, hiding something about Palestine at the bottom of a YouTube description, etc.) Not to mention they COMPLETELY ignore Africa- as if the Palestinian genocide is a treND and Sudan and Congo are not as “relevant”. Disgusting. If anyone has to comb through your feed right now to determine if you are against global genocide, you’re not against global genocide.
I am so angry that even when some of the worst shit is going on right now, some of you still think it’s okay to “maintain your feed aesthetic” or the “feel” of your TikTok and YouTube channel. It is utterly baffling to me why anyone would have to explain to you how fucked up this is.
Many of these creators are solidifying a future where they will be remembered for yammering on about “queer rights” as they purposefully posted everything but the cries of a group of people who have been dehumanized for decades.
Please consider unfollowing creators who are ignoring catastrophic and important events like this- if anything, it tells you their priorities will always be profit over people. It doesn’t matter how much they tell you they care about you- they don’t.

obsessed with villains who you just KNOW are aware deep down in their heart that they've done something unforgivable, but the only way to never admit that or face the guilt is to keep doing it over and over again until they don't feel guilty about that first time anymore

I’ve said this before, but I always found stories that frame heaven as “evil” and hell as “good” (or less bad) to be genuinely boring. I like more nuanced approaches to each realm.
I understand that for a lot of people, Christianity is a religion they like to criticize and mock, but I feel like if you don’t even understand the fundamentals of the religion, why even attempt to critique it?

BANNED IN D.C. 💥
[id: It's a drawing of Hobie and Gwen playing the guitar and drums respectively. Gwen has one arm raised above her head and the other about to hit the high hat cymbal. Hobie is leaning toward the front of the frame with his guitar. Gwen wears a black shirt and brown shorts—though the colors are hard to tell as she is highlighted in pink—while Hobie wears his spider outfit and signature leather jacket. The two are singing, 'WHY? I'M BANNED IN DC!" written above their heads. Marshall amps are visible behind Gwen, along with cutout letters writing "SPIDERS", and the background is cast in blue. /end id]

people make fun of the "oh you only hate her because she's a WOMAN" crazy feminist mentality but yeah actually you guys do only hate her because she's a woman a lot of times. for every hated female tv character there's ten male tv characters who are a million times worse and still given at least the "intriguing morally grey character" treatment if not straight up praise. for every hated female celebrity in real life there's one hundred famous men who have done worse and don't get half the hate she does. for every hated female politician, for every hated female historical figure, for the women you know in real life and on and on.

thinking about mizu from blue eye samurai. thinking. thinking so much. thinking about how mizu operates outside of gender. like we joke about her gender being revenge but straight up? it literally is. like she grew up as a boy and is most comfortable being a man, but behind that is the feeling of betraying himself because he isn't being honest about who he is and he lives in fear of being discovered. and when he lived as a woman, she found joy there as well. she fell in love, and though she wasn't good at it, she liked being a wife and enjoying a simple life. but in that life too, she isn't being honest about who she is. and when she reveals her true self, it's not a woman, she's a demon, a weapon. she's to masculine to be a woman, and too feminine to be a man. ultimately, mizu is most comfortable when they are being a murder machine. that's when they feel they are being the most true to themself. like a sword, they are neither man nor woman, but a blend of both, which makes them stronger.
