Why haven't I seen anyone point out that when we first meet Cheyenne, she says she doesn't like kids because they're unhygienic (or something like that) and boring to talk to. But when we see her interacting with children, she is never very mean to them. She is still strict and intimidating, but I don't remember ever seeing her yell or be outright horrible, the way she can be to adults.

Obviously we know how she is with Susu. She is annoyed by that one girl dancing next to Susu when she visits Susu in class, but she doesn't do anything really mean to her. She tells the little boy dancers they're important, even if their only real job is to support the girls. And in the last episode, when the little girl asks Cheyenne if she ever thought about what she'd be doing if she hadn't gotten into ballet, Cheyenne gives her a real answer. In fact, that kid is the only person who gets an answer to her question!

I love that whether or not Cheyenne likes children (or even if she only likes children who can dance), she is never cruel to them.

Shut the fuck up, they did not. They did not have to do shit. Bruce learned from raising Dick and having Dick around, Dick did not have to take care of Bruce or shit. He learned from Dick behaving lile a kid and having to deal with that, not from Dick taking his hand and teaching him. Tim literally only had to be there for Bruce to be better, it is explained in A Lonely Place of Dying that Bruce needs a child to take care of, and that's what Tim is, a child Bruce can take care of. They weren't parentified to take care of Bruce instead of him taking care of their emotional and mental wellbeing. HE TOOK CARE OF THEIR EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL WELLBEING. Damn, with Tim, he does it when his parents don't. With Dick, it's the whole point how Bruce took him to take care of his emotional and mental wellbeing because nobody did for Bruce, and Bruce succeeded.

Stop infantilizing autistic adults. Bruce being autistic and having difficulties with communication, emotions and relationships because of it doesn't mean his kids were the one taking care of him. It means his kids had to learn how it is to interact with an autistic or neurodivergent person.

Bruce being well only when he has a kid to take care of is what is difficult for the kids, because it makes the process of becoming an adult more difficult when your dad needs a kid.

I challenge y'all to be able to talk about Bruce being mentally ill without painting it as a burden to his family, because that's the only way you ever do it.

one thing i've noticed is that whenever people claim sabrina is doing the 'sexy baby' thing and you ask them for specifics, they're nearly always like "well... LOOK AT HER!" but can't point to any specific outfit she wears that actually fits into that aesthetic. which makes sense, because she is a grown woman wearing lingerie and high heels and minidresses. if she were wearing, like, schoolgirl uniforms or pigtails, i could see where people are coming from, but she's not; she's an adult and she dresses like it.

i can't decide if people feel that way because she's short, or because a lot of us first became aware of her when she was a child star, since a lot of people i see making that claim seem to be older than her. like i get that it might feel weird to see the cute kid you saw on disney channel now making blowjob jokes and posing naked for rolling stone. but she's not that kid anymore; she's a grown woman. i think it's completely understandable to have trouble disassociating her from her childhood self since that is how she first rose to fame, but that doesn't mean she's doing the 'sexy baby' thing. she's just a child star who grew up. we saw the same thing with britney, miley, demi, and even dove and vanessa to some extent.
