I honestly think Marvel has done psychic damage to an entire generation. Now, if women aren’t personally taking charge and inventing machines that one shot villains and degrading the men around them, then people view a story as anti-feminist. This has been apparent in the reviews of FFXVI, where all female characters are viewed as one-dimensional. Ignoring that 

Jill: Trauma survivor, Dominant, warrior, got her revenge, good friend, learned to love and be loved, made her own choices. 

Mid: Engineer, head strong, possibly the smartest human in the game, opinionated, deeply hurt and insecure, wants to prove herself, wants to support her friends and society,

Eloise: Supporter of bearers, left her family to support her brother, amazing business woman, knowledge of accounts, happy with the life she has even if she could have a more comfortable one, continued her mission even after tragedy.

I can see some of these criticisms of Anabella and Benedikta being true, but the story does really flesh them out and explains why they do what they do, and it’s not because they’re crazy. Anabella did everything because she thought it would end the Blight - and secure her power. While Benedikta is a trauma survivor who never learnt to how to heal; essentially a dark Jill or Mid.

Away from the hustle and bustle outside the castle walls there is nothing but peace and tranquility in the castle gardens. Planted with colourful flowers and manicured shrubs this garden is a haven. What I'm Saying Now: You know, we ARE back from hiatus, even if we're only posting two pages a week. I'm working on another project with Will and another project with Jacob...but I really don't get to talk to either of them much...and almost never about something other than work. I miss my partners.

Damian: Of course. We have a contract to fulfill. It's beneficial that he has a lovely physique and gets along with Richard. I do not mind calling him mine.

Steph: I was afraid of that.

Cass: Do you realize what this means? One of us got to tell Bruce, and worse, Dick.

It blows my mind that by giving the mithril shirt to Bilbo, Thorin indirectly saved Frodo and thus prevented the Ring-bearer from dying and the Quest from failing. The world was ultimately saved because the exiled King Under the Mountain fell in love with a hobbit.
