Not really, though they can be in one of their crossover adventures.

The "mysterious organisation" I mentioned once or twice is unrelated, and since there is no real plot continuity in this sideblog (it's like Tom & Jerry, or Cuphead : "the bullcrap of the day" kinda pace), I might as well tell you : they're an alliance made out in an emergency by the big heads of entertainment cartoons & media (think Disney, Warner Bros, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon... etc), in response to Bianca's upcoming. Yup, just for her.

They're (rightfully) scared of her because of her innate ability to make fictional stuff come to life, break the frontiers of reality, and give fictional characters sentience, and so, they've rallied against her, trying to take her down in any available way. Which usually includes sending characters to fight her, which ironically worsens their original problem. And now they have to deal with all the characters they own becoming actual people and needing to be taken care of and starting to question things. And maybe even, oh the horror. Start... Start... UNIONIZING.

They already get itchy balls when it comes to paying their actual artists, imagine if they had to come to that.

Hence why, the Organisation. On which they are still arguing about the name. They take suggestions from the public, by the way. Chosen candidate to be paid in exposure. 👉✨

"Last year I snuck onto the Hogwarts Express to see Bianca and lied to you about it, and her dads knew."

Regulus looked like he was trying not to immediately Apparate to his brother's house in a fit of fury at Cherie's words.

"We use your Netflix account," Luna told Evan. "You should really change your password, you know."

"I don't even care who broke the lamp anymore," Pandora said. "I just need a drink."

Regulus stood up, sweeping Cherie into his arms. "Yeah, I'm going with you."

You've inspired me to finally watch all episodes of VIP ( and I'm happy I did, cause I was missing some critical lore) but I was wondering if you have an answer for me.

In quite a few VIP fics I've read, the curse from the fourth witch, is Bianca throwing up black goo. Is that anywhere in canon of just a popular fanon thing? I will admit some of the details got blurry, binging it all so maybe I just missed that bit.

that's not canon, nope! in fact, a general rule of thumb is that basically anything to do with bianca -- or vianca, for that matter -- is just a fan theory or headcanon that's floating around.

in the specific case of bianca's curse making her throw up black ichor, that's a headcanon of my dear @owleanders that he includes in a lot of his art. and i love it.

i think "quite a few vip fics" might just mean the two fics of mine where i used the same headcanon?

so -- not canon, and not really fanon (which would be a consensus emerging from communal creative work and added to by many hands) but instead oli's headcanon, which he is generous enough to let me use in my writing <3 i... honestly don't know if the concept of "fanon" can really be applied to the vip fandom yet. it's just too small a group right now; everything non-canon can be traced back to an individual, or at the very least a small friend circle.

i'm thinking about making a post that lays out exactly what we know about bianca canonically, and distinguishes between hard fact, extrapolations of the hard facts, fan theories, and headcanons, if that would be useful for people?

Hello! Part 2 of my designs: Thalia Grace and Nico di Angelo!

In honor of reading (/listening to) The Demigod Files for the first time, I decided to do the other Little 3: Greek Edition) next! For the sake of reference, Thalia is 27 chronologically/ 17 physically and Nico is 19 (I'll explain).

The rules I set myself to for these redesigns were explained in Part 1 where I did The Trio.

Notes Below (and a poll please I need help):

Thalia:

The ears probably need the most explanation here: I like the idea that becoming a hunter changes you more than simply immortality. They are made up of humans (demigod and mortal) and nymphs, so I threw traits in the blender- the humans become more nymph like, and the nymphs become more human like (always including their bond to a specific place/ thing in nature being broken).

The only other thing of significance I did that wasn't just design flavor was change her hair color from black to brown. I just thought the color worked well with her complexion and differentiated her from the others more.

I keep bouncing around with who should get Aegis after she becomes a hunter (I'm almost positive she never uses it again after TTC)

Nico:

When I was working through the seven total children of the Big 3 and their ages, I realized that I wanted to make it conceivable that any of them could've been the child of prophecy (or seen that way) at some point. I was able to do this fairly easily for everyone else but had to get more creative for Nico. Currently, I'm working with the idea that Nico and Percy are the same age, they have the same birthday.

Once Nico is introduced and Bianca joins the hunters/dies, no one knows who's going to fulfill the prophecy. This adds more tension as he is seemingly evil, and no one knows where he is most of the time. This would probably make everyone but especially Annabeth really suspicious. It would go back and forth for a while before eventually turning out to be Percy.

Ok! On to the actual design: I wanted to go with something different for Nico's outfit as he has a couple early in the series. My personal favorite of these alternates is the black trench coat, so I went with that. Combined with the heeled boots, curved, almost cutlass looking kopis, and cross the body sash for the sheath, he looks very piratey to me with his more formal shirt and pants all being 1940s inspired.

He also has a lot of elements that I at least always forget about. He has a chain belt in BotL that I have never seen in fanart before, so I wanted to include it. I also wanted him to wear his (now skeleton themed) armor since the poor boy needs armor if he's going to go to Tartarus.

It's hard to see at a distance, but there is a key embedded in Nico's sword. Given that the Underworld is described with prison/ door motifs (ex: The Doors of Death), I like the idea that underworld gods have different keys.

When fighting Melinoe, Nico finds (steals) a key that allows him to summon ghosts without the ritual (its criminal that the Ghost King didn't come back in this story).

You have to take Mitch being in high school for 10+ years as an exaggeration that highlights the failure of Swellview's school system because there's no way Jeff is in his 30s and his sister is also still in high school and his actions don't speak for hers, but it's insinuated that they've all been in the same grade for a while so it's likely they've both just been held back a couple times.

- the Oregon Duck, the mascot for the University of Oregon was obsessed with me, at least I think so bc every time at a game the Duck would see me and come over to do their silly little jester act. I know from a band member it’s 4 people but I think it was one specific person who always saw me and said hello. It was bad enough everyone back home thought maybe it was my friend or even lover in that thing.
