Kissing Headcanons for Julie Langford, The Lutece Twins, and Booker DeWitt

Julie Langford

When the two of you are in private she likes to grab your hand gently before leaning toward you and placing a kiss on your cheek, while running her thumb over your knuckles. She thinks it feels more intentional when no one else is around to see it.

Her lips are always soft and she always leaves with a slight blush dusty her cheeks. Kissing you will always make her feel warm and, on colder days, you'll find she's much more prone to finding ways to kiss you.

Julie's quite bold when it comes to leaving trails of kisses on you. It's one of the only ways she finds that she can make you flustered, even if it's only a tad.

If you've been working out in Arcadia or come back seemingly exhausted from work, she'll pick your hand up slowly and plant a string of kisses on the palms of your hands.

In the mornings when she gets up and in the afternoons, right before she goes to bed, she'll place a light peck on your temple.

Her hands will sometimes grab at your sleeves or wrists while she leans in toward you. She does it to both stabilize herself and keep you in place.

She never surprises you with them, she thinks it's better when they have a purpose to them. Every kiss from her means something, and you can feel it through the firmness and adoration she puts into the action.

Robert Lutece

Robert will often quietly come up behind you and press a kiss against the spot right between your neck and shoulder, his hands holding you firmly before releasing you and disappearing off to do whatever.

He's not big on showing his affection for you publically, but if he feels the urge he'll grasp one of your hands and kiss your knuckles lightly, before releasing it and letting it fall back down to your side.

Although, despite him not being crazy about physical affection, when he catches you in private, he'll graze his hands down the sides of your arms kindly.

He's very gentle with you, afraid of coming off too strongly or intimidating in any way. It's almost as if he thinks you'll shatter right before him if he does anything too rough.

Robert likes to leave long, drawn-out pecks along your skin rather than something sloppy and quick. He likes being able to take his time with it, covering little areas of your skin until you get flustered and push him away.

He's not the greatest with words, so he feels as if he really needs to show his adoration for you through these sorts of actions. Every kiss from him has to be meaningful, if it's not he feels he's failed you.

He likes being able to catch you off guard. Every once in a while he'll come up silently behind you before slowly leaning in and kissing the area just below your ear.

He always pats your shoulder when he's done. Just a few kind taps to let you know he loves you and that he'll stop bothering you.

Rosalind Lutece

Rosalind's a lot more spontaneous than her brother. She'll stare at you for a moment before leaning in to gently grab your chin and press a firm kiss to your lips.

Although it doesn't happen often, she's not as afraid of PDA as Robert is. She has no qualms about kissing you in front of others. She couldn't care less.

She likes to hold your face in her hands and inspect it slowly, tilting it around curiously before she finally just plants a kiss on the tip of your nose and releases you.

She's quite firm with how she does it as she likes to make her affection for you known. She believes the best way to get someone to understand how you feel toward them is by spelling it out so they can't miss what you're trying to convey.

Similar to her brother, she loves it when she's able to catch you off guard. She relishes in the little jump you do whenever she appears behind you and presses light kisses along your shoulders.

She likes to play with the hair at the nape of your neck. Usually, that's the only sign she'll give you before she starts to lean into you.

She likes to count the amount of times you look away from her or stutter after she's done. She loves being able to quietly chart your habits.

She has this in common with her brother, but her lips are almost always far colder than how they normally should be. It always manages to add to the surprise and involuntary shivers she elicits out of you.

Booker DeWitt

Booker has a habit of bringing his hand up and entangling it somewhere in your hair when he kisses you. He likes having a strong hold on you, no matter what it is the two of you are doing. It helps reassure him that you're here and that you aren't leaving.

In the mornings he'll lazily trail his lips across your forehead before either going right back to bed or groggily getting up.

His kisses are rough and fast-paced, leaving no room for talking. He likes it better when he can push you up against a wall or a surface of some kind and press himself into you.

He hates doing anything physical with you in public, but when he gets you alone, he likes to hold you against him and press a series of kisses along your collarbone.

His lips are dry but you hardly have time to feel with how quickly he wraps an arm around you and leans into you.

Booker likes it when you get on your tiptoes and attempt to kiss him first. A lot of the time he'll just lean away from you, but occasionally he'll slouch down so you can reach him.

The only downside is that he almost always tastes like smoke and cigarette ash, but he makes up for it with how sweet he is toward you.

Right before you both start heading to bed, he'll take your hand and kiss your fingertips. It's the only time he's ever gentle with his affection.

Headcanon time woo. I never understood the whole "Rosalind hates/doesn't know how to cook" thing. I very much think cooking/baking IS a sort of science and while it may not be physics I think she wouldn't detest it and definitely would more than capable of doing it. I think the bigger issue would be the lack of time rather than abilities in the kitchen.

I guess there's also the whole 'rejecting strict gender roles' hence she definitely must hate everything realting to stereotypically/societally perceived feminine traits/abilities/professions. I don't like this line of thinking very much so personally I headcanon her as being against the unfairness of society and how it treats her because of her sex while not rejecting skills like cooking/sewing/etc just because society deems them feminine hence inferior. On the contrary, I think she of all people knows that devaluing them only fuels the cycle of oppression/patriarchy. For sure it's not easy for her and there's a lot of room for resentment and Feelings(TM) on the matter for sure... which makes for some is delicious angst and drama fuel which I live for 🥰

Okay time for another headcanon/fun facts for twilight town!

1. The order for who got to the mansion goes as so: Ruby and the Raven Brothers, Iris, Doom, Misery, Skull and Scardey, Frank and Len, Boo Boo, Jackie, then Halo.

2. Boo Boo’s real name is Emiliano but he’s been going by Boo Boo ever since he became a visible ghost. The others know his real name but he usually just prefers Boo Boo more.

3. Len once tried to dye his hair in his teens but ended up dying both his and Frank’s hair pink and blue.

4. If you were to ask Skull’s his favorite video game, it would be a tie between Fallout 3 and Bioshock Infinite.

5. Ruby and Skull didn’t properly confess to each other. Len accidentally slipped it out in front of Skull who asked “Why didn’t she say anything?”. Both twins were unamused.

6. Iris hates 3D movies because she can’t wear 3D glasses. She does like VR and AR games though.

7. Misery’s family does have a matriarch: her grandmother, Baba Yaga.

8. Frank used a lot of hairspray for his hair to stay the way it is. So much so that him and Len are near immune to a lot of chemical gases.

9. Halo sometimes uses her full set of wings as a blanket when she sleeps, she actually doesn’t even realize at times that all 6 are there.

10. Jackie‘s Pumpkin Puppies were created by mistake. She uses magic to help keep her garden healthy but sometimes it was so strong it would make some of the pumpkins into living animals.

Okay I reread it and actually my Rosalind Lutece headcanon meta was actually VERY good and I'm super proud of the me of ten years ago for writing it. That was my first ever meta post and without it I'd probably not make the insanely detailed headcanon and meta analysis posts I do now for Disco Elysium, TGCF, and whatever else I'm consuming at the time. So like. Thanks, Bioshock: Infinite, for being good for something, I guess.

First meeting: 6'9" Eleanor Lamb activates Elizabeth's up-to-now dormant lesbianism so hard she forgets how to form words for a few minutes

Fast friends due to trauma interests in common and an interdimensional roadtrip is almost immediate, which slowly builds up to a romantic relationship as they tour the world(s) together

The domestication begins: they build a cottage, one where Eleanor won't need to duck so much, because from their travels they have found most cottages are small and short, but they want their shared living space to be cozycore. They build it in some idyllic woods or a forest clearing, just somewhere somewhat isolated without it being unsettling or creepy.

Elizabeth by this point has a good hang of her powers where she can pull a Howl's Moving Castle on the cottage doors and windows to just stop out anywhere like it's no big deal; streets of Paris? Relaxing country park? The Attack on Eden Prime? okay maybe not that last one

They think of places to revisit based on both location and date, because if they're both from different places in time and space they might as well travel the same way.

They have so many books. So many books. The "small" study has shelves hidden in hammerspace to store all the books. Why do they need all these books?

Out of the two, Eleanor gets hit the hardest when she falls sick. Her immune system has been screwed over after living in a fish bowl on the ocean floor her whole life, so she gets so much as a cold and she is bedridden for DAYS. Elizabeth's Nurse Nightingale mode gets switched on and she cares for/dotes on Eleanor the whole time. The latter complains about being babied but that's the general misery from being sick talking. (And somewhere under all the sniffling and groaning she feels so happy that someone is caring so much about her wellbeing.)

Unless one of them is busy elsewhere or sick, they tend to cook their meals together. Both of them were raised in circumstances where cooking for themselves never really came up, so it's a bit of them learning this life skill together and a bit of not wanting to leave the other to do all the cooking.

Eleanor visits Tenenbaum sometimes, usually to help with the effort of caring for the Little Sisters that her mother created. Locating their families is relatively easy thanks to the Thinker, it's undoing the mental conditioning that takes a while. Elizabeth offers to help where she can, knowing that this is something personal for Eleanor. Instant travel to drop off the treated girls and then leave without a trace makes the burden a lot easier on Tenenbaum as well.

Elizabeth sometimes wants to visit whatever Booker still survives in the aftermath of everything, but she can't bring herself to ever try and speak with him. If she ever checks on him, it's from afar, watching as Anna DeWitt gets to have a life that Elizabeth Comstock never got to have. Eleanor can see something's bothering Elizabeth when she gets back from wherever she's been, and eventually coaxes her into actually talking about her feelings, which are bittersweet at best.

Elizabeth discovers she's a cat person when Eleanor brings home a scruffy mess of a stray cat that kept following her. As soon as Elizabeth sits down to read the cat is on her lap before the book is open, he has claimed this human.

Eleanor discovers she's a dog person when Elizabeth brings home a stray mutt with the biggest "Can I keep him?" eyes. The dog was a her, and Eleanor quickly understood why people did the babytalk voice with their dogs because she adores this disaster dog.

There is a ladder for the shelves in the study, but Elizabeth always pesters Eleanor to lift her up for a book if the latter's around.

Eleanor gets lazy when it comes to grocery shopping and uses the above against Elizabeth so that she'll just tear a fully stocked fridge into their kitchen. Who wins here? Who knows?

Elizabeth loves dressing the both of them up. She loves making them new outfits to go out in, finding accessories on their adventures, teaching Eleanor about makeup and what to wear for what occassion because they can both leave the house and they will look good doing it dangit.

Eleanor loves to tinker with various gadgets and gizmos, and that might be why she's also taken to art, favouring mixed media and unconventional sculpting and metalworks. It was Elizabeth's idea that they build Eleanor her own shed as a space for her creativity, so the latter had full reign to get messy and come back into the cottage looking like a full-on blacksmith.

They know not to mess with the timelines. They know this. But that doesn't stop them from taking their combined works - Eleanor's art pieces and Elizabeth's paintings - and selling them where they could just to see where they would end up and what little instances of inspiration they caused.

Both of them have nightmares, not on the regular but often enough. Tossing and turning, mumbling in their sleep. Worst-case scenarios are one waking up and accidentally/instinctively pulling something into the room via tear or scourching the ceiling/wall with a fireball. They've learned each other's tells for nightmares and how to help calm the other down. Eleanor found that holding Elizabeth and talking to her in her sleep helps - a book she likes, what they could do in the morning, or just plain nonsense. Elizabeth figured out that ocean noise calmed Eleanor down, and changes the world outside their window to an undersea view until Eleanor stills. It's not a perfect system, they would rather be without the nightmares, but it's something that works in the now.

They're in no rush to get married, as neither really feel that it's something they need in their relationship. They know they're not ready for children yet, or if they'll ever want children. They're happy as they are in the present, with a cottage they built together for the life they built together and the cat and the dog they adopted and the art shed and a library hidden inside of a modest study and doors that can take them wherever and whenever they want. They were lost, but they found each other.

Eleanor has met the Luteces exactly once. She does not like them at all. She has promised them that if they ever show up to interrupt the peaceful life she and Elizabeth have for whatever bullshit quantum entanglement riddle they may want to bring with them, she can and WILL find a way to kill them for good. While the Luteces are certain she won't, the chance of third-degree burns and whatever half-finished art projects being thrown at them full-throttle is definitely not appealling.

Obviously is dedicated to his family and only exhibits platonic praise of others, romance seems like the last thing on his mind

Certainly sold that he is somewhere on the ace-spectrum, cannot pin if he is demi (sexual or romantic) or a sex-positive asexual. Either way it feels like great representation for asexuals who experience romantic attraction

A lot of her story line features unconventional platonic relationships as well as being comfortable not pursuing romance

I think it would be quite rad for her to be aromantic and/or asexual as a huge part of her story is that people often mistake her for naive or innocent, and end up facing the brunt of her power. A lot of times how people treat aces and aros (and even how some of the ace community treats aros…)

A main plot-point of Conner’s “good end” is that Hank and him remain friends. Much of Hank’s dialogue also point towards him seeing Conner as a son clarifying his most important bond as platonic

He is literally a police robot, so he was probably built without genitalia. If the a-spec community cannot at least have this what will the world let us have??

But to add more: Marus and Kara canonly experience romantic attraction (also robots!!) while Conner shows no inclination towards it. The entire point of this series is that the robots are indeed human and can be romantic or aromantic respectively
