I come bringing AU designs for a fanfic about bisexual cats who decide to start their own Clan. These designs didn’t take too long- but the chapters did. Read them here!

Now time for some of the designs and some things about them.

1. Mapleshade

One thing I kind of dislike about most Mapleshade designs is that they lack the snaggly teeth that she had in The Place of No Stars (the book). Not that I dislike them, I rarely see any. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and make a Snaggleshade here.

I am a sucker for calicos and heterochromia, so I decided to make her a calico with heterochromia. The white tail was something in canon, but to give the design a little more character I added a smudge of black to give it color.

2. Reedshine 

I wanted to get a bit creative with Reedshine’s design here. Usually I see some designs for her being a tabby, and I love tabbies. But a change such as this would probably be nice.

I wanted to make her less rough around the edges and less feral-looking than Mapleshade, since RiverClan cats are usually known for their appearances. It also gives a nice contrast to the first character as well, even though the names already contrast one another in canon. (I find that interesting, if anyone has a theory why this is such then hmu!)

3. All the babies. Yes, all of them.

This is another one of those “Mapleshade’s kits lived” AUs, because I don’t appreciate baby murder.

Top row is Patchkit, Larchkit, and Petalkit, with the bottom row being Willowkit/nose, Shykit/heart, and Applekit/frost.

I wanted to add one of Reedshade’s colors to Shykit, but to me it didn’t look right. However, blue eyes did look right so I added those to her.

Petalkit doesn’t exactly bear a striking resemblance to her father (Applekit does), and unlike the canon I decided not to have Patchkit mirror Mapleshade completely. Just a calico boi is fine. I thought the pale brown patches would be a nice touch to Larchkit, they look cute on him! I kind of wanted Shykit’s markings to be the inverse of Applekit’s, and I kept the fanon interpretation of her having white on the chest and front paws. There isn’t much to say about Willowkit except that like her sister and brother, I had to improvise the eyes. (And the genders of Applekit and Shykit!). I have to say that Shykit, Patchkit, and Petalkit are my favorite designs.

Patchkit, Larchkit, and Petalkit do live, but you won’t be hearing their warrior names yet.

The Cats of ThunderClan (BP) - Pinestar

A large reddish-brown tabby tom with large paws, thick stripes and green eyes with a torn right ear. His muzzle is steadily turning silver before his time and some cats think he looks like one stiff breeze will knock him over. His coat is thick and long; though he tries to keep it neat, the recent events that’ve happened in his life have made him miserable and he’s begun to struggle with caring for himself.

Pinestar had a rather rough start to life being born during the second famine of ThunderClan. It was a lesser famine - lighter than the one from Doestar’s time - but his father’s xenophobia had resulted in the collapsing relationship between the Sun and ThunderClan. As a result, his mother often ate very little; passing around a single bite so that every cat could eat. His brother and sister - Birchpaw and Rowan - struggled alongside him through the difficult times that Oakstar wrought for them.

Pinestar feels a cocktail of negative emotions towards his father. It was an open secret back when he was growing up that his birth mother was pressured into the relationship that resulted in him by Oakstar. Though Sweetbriar and Cloudshine were on reasonably good terms, Oakstar’s blatant favoritism towards him over his half-sister Rowan caused tension between the three of them as Birchpaw was forced to mediate. When Cloudshine died, Sweetbriar took in all three of them as her own bringing that part of their family closer together.

Paws down, the roughest days of his life were when he was elected deputy in the stead of his deceased brother and he leaned heavily on his sister and his mate, Nightsabre. His father’s descent into true madness put a lot of stress on him - though Oakstar was still leader, Pineheart had felt that he was the only thing holding his clan together. The exile and subsequent rampage from Mapleshade was the final straw in an already wavering resolve he had. He teamed up with the rest of the clan, forcing his father to step down from the mantle of leader - ignoring the frustration of Oakstar choosing to keep his remaining 3 lives - and very early took on the title as leader.

Within the first two moons of his new position, he ran himself ragged de-escalating the situation with RiverClan, repairing the relationship with the Shining Sun and taking potential war off the debating table. Suffering through all the stress of putting out his father’s fires on top of barely taking care of himself it was to no one’s surprise that he eventually lost two lives in rapid succession of each other - one to starvation and the next to greencough at the same time their precious first litter was lost to the illness.

Pinestar has now recently hit his stride with leadership; it’s hard and sometimes thankless but it’s for his clan. After the lost of their most recent potential kit in Mayhawkit, Pinestar and Nightsabre have both agreed to wait for a later date before they try having another litter.

Hello warrior cats community I know I stopped reading at some point in AVOS but if Mapleshade, Birchface, Appledusk and Reedshine were all in a poly relationship would Oakstar tell on his bisexual poly code breaking son. Since Mapleshade isn't really lying about Birchface or Appledusk being the father what. What would happen. Has anyone stopped to consider this. I just want to know

Idk if I'll mention this in the AU itself but Scourge x Ashfur is actually a poly of Scourge, Ashfur, Ravenpaw, Bone and Brick

Sol is dating Little'cloud and Blackstar, which took a while, especially for Little'cloud who knew all along that Sol was manipulating Blackstar, but Sol loves their bfs

Longfire is very much a thing and I love it so much

Mapleshade, Snow'tuft and Freckle'wish have been a thing for as long as anyone can remember

Darkstripe and Tigerstar's first date was breaking into Starclan and stealing food, very romantic

jay'feather really likes stuff like rings and necklaces cuz he can fidget with them so Flame and Kestrel go and make him so fidget necklace and rings and Jayfeather loves them so much

Berry'nose was so flustered when he was asked to join the poly because behind that big, jock exterior is just a blushy bisexual who didn't know his joke-y flirting would go anywhere

Longtail had to go and meet Jake, Tallstar and Bark'face when he first started dating Fireheart/star and he was so nervous but they liked him pretty well

Blossomfall and Mistberry are the most recent couple in the series, only getting together a month before the canon takes place

So, the first kiss of a dark forest cat to a living leaves a marking, well so do more after that too so now Breezepelt and ivy'pool have more black spots on them then anything, which they actively encourage

No one asked, but I have a bunch of queer headcanons for the battlecats based on vibes:

Leafpool is a disaster lesbian who spent her whole life thinking she's straight and that having her heart race every time she sees Cody/Sorreltail/Mothwing/etc. is perfectly hetero

Squilf is a bisexual trans molly. She occasionally contemplates running away w/ Jessy or Moonlight, but is currently too tired for romance

Moth is trans, demisexual, & lesbian, who's somewhat more self-aware about her feelings towards Leafpool but not by a whole lot. I also struggle to imagine her w/ anyone else, hence the demi part

Mousefur is a mean asexual & surprised a number of cats by never having kits. They can go suck a fire ant.

Nightcloud is somewhere on the ace spectrum, but she tried real hard to will the allosexuality into existence to keep her marriage afloat.

Hawkfrost is a mean trans demi homosexual. Yes all of Sasha's kits are gay, demi, & trans, and he's very handsome on top of that.

Mapleshade is an evil demi pansexual. If a time traveller moved a pebble on Sunningrocks, Dawnfeather, Birchface, & Myler all have the next highest chance of being her one & only <3<3<3

Needletail has genderqueer vibes. Unsatisfied with the rigidity of the Clan system, viewed as strange by a bunch of other cats.

I like the idea of demi Hollyleaf a lot, but I don't like the execution of her relationship w/ Fallen Leaves all the much. Hmmm...

Feathertail has vaguely gray sapphic energy, probably went along w/ Crowfeather's feelings bc she thought that's how a cat should handle receiving romantic affection & her brief flickers of reciprocation (that may or may exist & may or may not even be about him) seemingly validate it

Darkstripe is reverse Leafpool, a disaster gay who doesn't realized his unending devotion to Tigerstar I is more than platonic

Dovewing & Ivypool are both omnisexual, but I can't imagine either of them having a remotely healthy love life

Bonus: Tigerstar (I and II), Bramblestar, Ashfur, Lionheart (+ his sons), Lionblaze, Rootspring, & Nightheart would all unironically host a sexuality + gender reveal party where they scratch "he/him cishet" on the ground. They would've added "allo" to the list but it's unlikely any of them even know asexuality exists
