@kazachokolate and I decided to do this Double Meme by rennyo8 (unfortunately, we couldn't find them or their original version anywhere). My side is the left one and hers is on the right.
1. Our self-portraits.
Tumblr media
2. Our attempts to draw each other
Based on old photos, drawings and imagination. Yeah we never actually met, but that's the fun part. :D
3. and 4. are skipped due to being plain Russian text.
5. Our redraws of each other's art.
I chose Kazachokolate's OC, I think she's adorable!
Tumblr media
I gave her Lamb-Cult-ish pupils because Kaza likes the game.^^
Tumblr media
6. Art Trade Time!!!
We both agreed on ships, bc shipping is love, shipping is life. Kazachokolate requested Vasilisa and Alexander from Black Book. I asked for Vasilisa (yeah that's kinda funny) and the Cat from Fantasy Patrol. Guess we both like Russian witches with braids, fine relations with black cats and who also are female husbands to their male wife nerds.
Tumblr media
7. "Blind" Ship.
Each of us picked a character and drew them in a kissing pose without telling each other about our choice. We only agreed on head size and hand position beforehand. I had a very hard time making the decision. Mavis is probably not the most creative option, but I'm actually happy with how it all turned out to be.
Tumblr media
A tin man and a vampire girl is a pretty neat ship, if I do say so myself. Them outliving their partners wouldn't be an issue anymore. :D I love how they randomly got some similar details like Mavis' hair and Tin Man's hadle (which resebles hair a bit) sticking out and curving or them both having small round dimples.
This meme was an enjoyable experience. Really helped me to get myself out of my comfort zone a bit.^^
I'm sorry, if you broke your eyes trying to read all this.

Wrong place, wrong time... to post this gameplay?
I feel like I made a mistake about which game to play next on my YouTube channel. After finishing Watch Dogs 2, I went through Epic Games's library to find the next thing to play. Apart from bunch of good-looking horror games, one game got my attention. And that is Black Book.
Tumblr media
Black Book is a game set in Russia during 19th century (I think), and you play as Vasilisa, a young koldun (in other words, witch) who sets on a quest to unlock the seals of the Black Book she carries with her to save her late husband's soul from going to Hell. On her way, she battles monsters and chorts (bigger monsters from hell who torment people), and helps peasants out. This game's ending also depends on the choices you make - and I feel like I messed this up.
Along the way I have the icon of coffin displayed that marks the number of sins I've made. According to some online chats, the number of sins is the one that will affect the ending. My number of sins is now over 200, and that is like a bottom line to get at least some good ending. I made some bad choices without thinking clearly on what will it affect (stuff like stealing, not helping peasants out and sending your own chorts to torment peasants which you NEED to do).
I'm not very satisfied with my gameplay, much to the fact that I made bad choices, but more to the fact that it's a Russian game. Knowing what Russia is doing now to Ukraine, I don't think it's a good idea to continue going with this gameplay. It's not my fault. The game description said that this game is inspired by Slavic folklore and Slavic mythology. The game could have been set in any of the Slavic countries, not just Russia.
Tumblr media
I'm not getting many views, nor likes, nor comments, so I can't tell the opinions of my fans. It saddens me to think that I do all these efforts to give people my gameplays and to not be seen, it's just like in my school days when I say something, but nobody pays attention to me, like I don't exist. In truth, I do want some attention, but at the same I don't want to be in center of attention. It's an impossible combination.
Back to the game, the game got my attention because I was interested in learning a bit about Slavic mythology. It's not something you learn at school, knowing that it didn't last for long, after Christianity was introduced (at least in Croatia). It's gotta be shortly after reading American Gods and Norse Mythology, both by Neil Gaiman, that I got interested in mythology stuff. I knew from before some basic stuff from Greek mythology, only little about Roman mythology but Norse and Slavic, nothing (maybe little, but nothing specific). Only what Marvel showcases with Thor and Loki.
You can find my full gameplay playlist here:

there’s another life out there in which james potter is a very famous author creating the long awaited adaption of his most famous series and regulus is a nepo baby actor who gets the part of the main character to appease fandom fancasting authority . there’s a lot of hype over this including reposting of old gifsets w tags like GUYS who can’t WAIT to see regulus say this famous line!!! except regulus has never fucking read this book before going to auditions and gets the part solely because james has a parasocial crush on him from being tagged in all the posts . regulus eventually reads it for the job and becomes insanely fond of it even outside of his work bc it’s just objectively good literature . this pisses him off severely. he tells james to his face he fucking hates it meanwhile whilst reading over the script he complains about what was cut from the book and james is like SEE i TOLD THEM to include it but they said it would still read well!!! regulus replies WELL IT DOESNT. mad as hell they agree about the book James Wrote . then they kiss a lot about it

hot take maybe but the only reason most show runners/producers/writers/etc. age up the (female) characters from book to show adaptation is to overtly sexualize them and not face mass amounts of scrutiny for it.
put 13 year old daenerys next to 30 year old drogo and the audience understands that daenerys is a victim to him and not an equal. put 22 year old emilia clarke as daenerys next to 32 year old jason mamoa as drogo and they’re seen as a budding romance with a tragic ending (by the general audience) due to their on screen chemistry.
flash forward to today, and now we’re dealing with 21 year old milly alcock playing rhaenyra from 14-19 and how her relationship with (28 year old fabien) a mid twenties criston is seen as -morally acceptable- and not a result of a degenerate pedophile taking advantage of and grooming his charge. “ser criston protects the princess from her enemies, but who protects the princess from ser criston?” rhaenyra was 14 when rumors started speculating that she slept with an almost 30 year old criston. a criston who had know her since she was 8 and had been her sworn shield since she was 9. obviously seeing a teenager in the early stages of puberty next to a fully grown man would emphasize rhaenyra being THE victim, as opposed to the show having an 18-19 year old explore her sexuality and seek out ‘consensual’ sex with her peer bodyguard. the discourse has even reached the point where certain stans try to paint the much younger woman as the perpetrator and aggressor of this event, who forced the unassuming man into having sex with her.
i’ll even take this a step farther, and bring up how if they had shown a 19 year old alicent abusing a 10 year old rhaenyra it would be identified and mutually agreed upon as a reprehensible act on alicent’s part. instead they’re of similar age, so people can attempt to paint the picture as two women of equal standing hating each other, and not a much older woman bullying a motherless child. once again however, some stans even go so far as to try and paint alicent as a victim of rhaenyra, and not the other way around. further cementing this is how both versions of alicent are younger than both versions of rhaenyra, AND how criston is still played by an actor who is younger than older!rhaenyra despite his character being the same age as daemon in canon.
they know exactly what they’re doing too, considering they aged alicent down to give her that innate compassion one typically feels when seeing children being abused on tv (something that can no longer be applied to rhaenyra). despite that never being her story; *she* was the abuser, and rhaenyra was her victim. criston’s victim. it’s a nasty cop out, and i wish more people would call out how sickening it is to flip the switch and attempt to make abusive individuals more sympathetic than the *actual* victims of said abusers.

" When Prince Daemon sent forth his call to arms, they rose up all along the rivers, knights and men-at-arms and humble peasants who yet remembered the Realm's Delight, so beloved of her father, and the way she smiled and charmed them as she made her progress through the Riverlands in her youth. Hundreds and then thousands buckled on their swordbelts and donned their mail, or grabbed a pitchfork or a hoe and a crude wooden shield, and began to make their way to Harrenhal to fight for Viserys's little girl." — George R.R. Martin; Fire & Blood.

Three characters it seems the writers hate:
Aegon- he’s a serial rapist drunk who is a complete fail son who is loved by no one, not his father, mother, the small folk , no one. Everyone just piles on him. He’s a puppet king who no one listens to, he was forced into this position and wasn’t trained for shit, not even to be the puppet. They have him going drunk into a battle instead of teaming up with Aemond like the book and Aemond attacks him with no interest in going after Rhaenys??Now he’s half burnt to a crisp by his brother who seems to plan to torture him as he lays half dead. His own mother can’t stand his cries over his dead kid and I’m unsure of what was happening as he called for her again as he lay there. How they managed to make us feel bad for a rapist with child fighting pits? Bad writing I guess
Daemon- amazing competent book character, loves his family, is brutal but not in a bumbling fool way. People feared him and I suppose they kinda do on the show. But he’s going around screaming he’s king like a child , he can’t convince people to do shit. He can’t handle hearing anything about viserys or the heir or anything even with visions mention to make him understand.he’s actively trying to gather shit for himself to make himself some kinda king. He has no redeeming qualities like the book, they didn’t even have him love his kids. Now they got him eating out his own mother in visions. Great
Alicent- in the book she was less weak and more scheming. This season they’ve made her hateful in every way. She is busy getting her back blown out while her grandkid is being beheaded, she won’t comfort her son instead more sex, she doesn’t care about her grandkid dying. Her relationship with cole is hateful and angry, not what I imagined for alicole as they presented themselves last season. She talks down to her son she forced to be king. Now shes a major hypocrite making bastards, trying to be queen regent like she didn't just uphold patriarchy for her drunken son then being shell shocked she got passed over by a man with less experience. They are just making her so despicable and erasing the whole reason she usurped the crown. I can’t.
The writers just hate them or something. I don't know.

Am I the only one who refuses to watch House of The Dragon because I came to realize the entire show is a huge set up to justify what they did to Daenerys Targaryen just so HBO can calm down people and they can keep milking this franchise? They didn't make this show to make you love dragons and Targaryens. They made this show to make you despise them. They made this show so HBO can say "See people? The crazy dragons rider female that wanted to free the world and we made to be violent through our shitty writing did need to be put down like a mad dog in her lover's embrace, afterall. Anyways, let me show you why Jon Snow, the male we made half Targaryen, to make more interesting, would make a better ruler".
