Creepy bug themed villains my beloved.

Some people say these villains are creepy and were scared of them as a kid. Heck, some are even still creeped out by them years later when they're older.

However, it did the opposite effect on me, because I really love them as villains. (Which I'll admit is ironic for me, I really dislike bugs and spiders)

Alao, their designs are so fucking cool. (Say what you will about Oogie being a literal sack), but they do their jobs at frightening people and the audience pretty damn well.

Oogie Boogie Bodice ~!

early last year i embarked on making a couture garment inspired by our boy oogie !

it is a couture inspired boned bra cup bodice with rouleaux loops for a lace up back, hand-embroidered bugs and hidden beading work on the lace embellishments.

i weathered the garment in and around the seams to add more depth too.

it’s a beige canvas outer fabric with a green linen lining, with many multicoloured bugs.

i’ve already posted this bad boy on my instagram so go send some love there too!

This Disney Villains crossover collage is of Ursula and Oogie Boogie, as part of my crossover collage series of Disney Villains, to mark the countdown to Halloween. The time of year when Disney gives their villains control of the rains.

I know that I have done a collage on the two already, but that one was of their Mirrorverse counterparts alone, to reference the Mirrorverse Villains trailer they were in. The two of them were also allies in the first Kingdom Hearts game.
