Bucky x Reader

When she woke up in the morning she felt Bucky’s arm around her waist keeping her close. She turned around in his hold and smiled when she saw him asleep. The sun was shining on his face and his hair was in his eyes. She softly pushed the hair back so she could see his eyes.

She didn’t want to wake him up so she got up and put a hoodie on and shorts and went into the kitchen. When she walked into there Natasha, Steve, Tony and Sam where already awake and talking.

“Hey good morning” Tony said

“Good morning” She replied with a small smile

“Where’s Bucky?” Steve asked

“He’s still asleep, he had a nightmare last night and i didn’t want to wake him up.” She said looking down at her mug

“Oh, was it bad” Steve asked softly

“I mean it wasn’t the worst he’s had, he’s getting better though it’s the first one he’s had in 3 months” She replied filling her mug up with coffee

“Oh that’s really good” Steve replied with a smile

“Yeah” She said smiling back

About 20 minutes later she was sitting on the counter talking to Natasha when she heard someone walk in. She looked over and saw it was her boyfriend, Bucky, he was wearing sweatpants, a shirt that he had thrown on and his hair was messy.

She smiled when he walked over and stood next to her.

“Hi” he said softly so she could only hear

“Good morning baby” she replied

Bucky got himself coffee and was standing next to her and talking to her.

“C’mere” she said pointing to in between her legs.

Bucky smirked and stood there

“Your hair is all messy” She said running her hands through it

“I know but i like when you fix it” He said moving to wrap his arms around her and nuzzle against her neck

She smiled and wrapped her arms around him.

“How are you feeling?” She whispered in his ear

Bucky sighed and pulled back so he could look at her face.

“I feel better but you know i still feel like my chest is heavy” He said

“Yeah” She replied and brought her hands up to his face

She leaned up and kissed him and he happily kissed her back too. After they both pulled away Bucky moved standing next to her again so he could finish him coffee.

They had a mission with Steve and Sam but they got back to the compound at 12 AM. When they got back they took a shower and fell asleep

Bucky giggles

Could you imagine the first time people hear Bucky giggle. Not a belly laugh, not a chuckle, not a snort or a cackle. A giggle. The cutest, most adorable giggle with the nose scrunch and shy smile and flushed cheeks. Sam paused mid sentence, doing a double take before staring back at Tony.

“Did-did you just hear that?”

Tony’s face scrunches into something between a cross of amusement and confusion when he hears it again.

“The man who threw me off a roof is giggling”

“He almost shot me in the face” Tony snorted, the both of them watching Bucky scroll through a phone he just learned to use. He’s blissfully unaware he’s the current centre of attention, fully invested with scrolling through tiktok. He’s splayed out on the couch like a baby while his head rests on your lap, nearly purring in between his giggles when you card your fingers through his hair.

“He’s like a house cat. A really large, has the ability to kill us all from miles away, house cat” Sam shook his head. You absolutely love when he giggles because it’s not often. It’s when he’s relaxed and happy without a care in the world, comfortable enough to let his guard down. He comes the sweetest puppy ever and it melts you every time.

“You’re so cute, baby” you lean over to peck his nose causing another adorable sound to sneak out, his cheeks blushing even more “the absolute cutest”

They are absolutely obsessed with you being pregnant, it’s always been their fantasy to see you with a round belly and the famous pregnancy glow. For some reason, they knew it would fit you.

Bucky calls you mama/hot mama at all times, he can’t get himself to call you something else.

They try to go on less missions and avoid the big scary dangerous ones, they are with you at all times. Need cup ? Don’t move Steve will get it for you. Have back pain ? Bucky will give a massage. These men are invested !! They won’t let you lift a finger, and to be fair they’re both probably more anxious than you about the baby situation.

They’re also extra supportive, I think Steve would be really careful about your mental health and body image. Whenever he senses that you’re feeling down he’ll encourage you to open up or take you on a walk. Bucky encourages you to work out and reminds you to take naps and to drink water.

Very cliché but they’re 100% getting you a white sundress, just to see you walking around barefoot, looking all pregnant and sexy.

Whenever you guys see Sam he always get excited and wants to talk to the baby and touch your belly. But before he even gets the chance to think about it, the guys are looking at him dead in the eyes, signaling that he needs to back up.

Sometimes you and Bucky hides from Steve to order some silly toys and clothes for the baby, you guys always laugh the hardest in those moments while Steve is standing confused in the kitchen, wondering why he can’t participate.(he’s an old grandpa who doesn’t like online shopping)

One time you were cuddling on the couch with Steve and the doorbell rang, you tried to get up but immediately got stopped "don’t even think about it, Bucky will take care of it you need to rest".

During the pregnancy there are a LOT of attention and cuddles. Before they were caring but now ? They’re always touching you in some way, holding your hand, rubbing your belly, braiding your hair, if they’re not busy they’ll nap with you or cuddle on the couch to watch a movie.

I just know Steve takes the baby classes very seriously. Everyday, always reading on the subject or attending classes when he can. He wants to be ready.

Imagine on a late night, Steve and Bucky sit down with Clint to ask him about baby stuff and how to survive the newborn stage. Clint is probably the happiest to do so and will share at least 200 pics in the matter of an hour.

She has been living in the compound for about 2 years and 3 months ago Bucky moved into the compound. She’s never actually talked to him even though she wanted to but she didn’t want to make him uncomfortable.

One day she saw him reading The Hobbit. She wondered if he ever watched the movies. The next day she walked into the movies room and saw Bucky sitting in a seat and reading The Hobbit.

She walked up to him and said “Hi Bucky”

He looked up with wide eyes and said “H-hi”

“Um i saw you reading The Hobbit and wondering if you ever saw the movies?” She said

He looked confused but interested and said “There’s movies?” quietly.

“Yeah!!” she said excitedly. She got quieter and said while fidgeting with her hands “Um maybe we should watch them one day?”

Bucky looked up at her with a small smile and said “Sure” “I don’t have anything to do so i can watch them anytime”

“Ok” she said with a big smile that made his heart beat faster. “Do you wanna watch them tomorrow since it’s already late?” She asked

“Sure” he said softly “Wanna meet up here at 3 pm?”

“Yeah!” she said then got a ding from her phone. She checked it and her eyes went wide “Oh my god i forgot i have to train with Nat, Bye Bucky!” She said running out the door.

He chuckled and waved to her even though she was already turned around.

The Next Day

She was bored all day waiting to finally watch the movies with Bucky. At 2:30 she thought it was ok to go in there and wait for him. When she walked in there she was surprised to already see him sitting on a couch reading.

She smiled and walked to him and she said “Hi” softly

Bucky looked up with a smile and said “Hey”

“Is it okay if i sit?” she asked

“Yeah of course!” He said and moved so he wasn’t taking up too much space.

“Thank you” she replied quietly, she got on the couch and got comfortable with a blanket she brought.

She turned on the first movie, about 30 minutes in the movie she frowned because Bucky didn’t have a blanket and he was wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt. She got closer to him so they where shoulder to shoulder and put the other half of the blanket on his lap.

He looked up surprised and said “Thanks” with a smile

“You’re welcome” she said blushing

Half way through the 2nd movie she leaned over and whispered to Bucky and said “i’ve actually never watched these”

He chuckled and said “really?”

“Yeah but when i saw you reading it i thought maybe it’s time i watched it and then i wanted to watch it with you” she said blushing when she realized Bucky was looking into her eyes.

“Well thank you” he said with a smile

She smiled and looked down then looked back at the movie.

When they started the 3rd movie she could feel herself getting tired because she didn’t sleep well last night but she ignored it.

About 20 minutes later Bucky felt something hit his shoulder and he frowned and looked down. He smiled when he saw her eyes closed and she was sleeping. He decided not to wake her up because he would feel bad if he did.

He felt himself getting tired but he ignored it because he wanted to finish the movie.

The Next Morning

Steve walked into the theater room because Bucky said he would be there and he hadn’t seen him since yesterday morning. When he walked in he saw the screen was off, he walked to the couch and saw Bucky asleep on his back with her on top of him.

He smiled but secretly took a picture of them before he left.

Bucky knowing he’s adorable. He knows all he has to do is bat his baby blues and it'll make anyone fold instantly. He's become such a little shit about it too, because he acts so oblivious while knowing exactly what he's doing.

“For fucks sake. No. NO. Do not look at me with those puppy eyes it won’t work” Sam shook his head, refusing to look at Bucky's face while the soldier blinked innocently with a small pout on his lips.

"I didn't do anything" he shrugged, acting as if he hadn't swiped the last cookie with the evidence sprinkled on the front of his shirt.

"You're something else" Sam grumbled, rolling his eyes at the puppy like look Bucky had on his face, "You can't keep making that face and getting away with this, keep your grubby hands away from my oreos"

Sam only manages to keep up the act for so long before reluctantly opening a new box, pushing it towards the brunette who smirks, swiping another handful.

"Unbelievable"

"Who the hell broke another punching bag in the gym-

“He’s right behind me isn’t he” Tony deadpanned, knowing Bucky was slinking about somewhere, batting his brown lashes, making his job 100 times harder. "Barnes I swear-

The billionaire turned around to find Bucky tiptoeing around the mess he made with wide, remorseful eyes making the billionaire groan.

"Don't look at me like some dame in the 40's, that cute face won't work on me"

"Did you just call him cute"

"Shut up"

"Well, you're not wrong"

"Bucky you're late" you frowned as he ran over to you, dressed in all black, ready to take you to dinner.

"M'sorry doll" He pouted, burying his face into your neck, "Didn't mean to keep you waiting"

"You're doing it again, this is cheating, you can't keep acting adorable and getting away with being late to our dates" you huffed, eventually melting into his needy cuddles, missing his little naughty smirk. Of course he didn't actually mean to be late and he really was sorry but he loved when you fell for his sweet charm.

"Did you see that? That little smirk he just made" Sam hissed while Steve snorted, lowkey happy to see this version of Bucky making its way back. "He gets away with everything, it isn't fair"

"Well I think it's adorable" Nat smiled watching him dote on you while Steve hummed in agreement. "He's a little cutie"

A small smile on his lips, Bucky gets out of bed and puts some sweatpants on. He picks a shirt from his dresser and leaves the room.

"Kiddo?" he asks when he enters the showers room.

"I'm in here," your small hand appear above one of the cabins door, and he can see your naked feet on the ground.

He steps closer and gives you the shirt over the door.

"Thank you so much, Bucky," you chuckle. "I'm so clumsy."

Bucky smiles, the sound of your laughter floating in his head, and waits, leaned against the sink in front of your door, while you put on his shirt. When you eventually step out, he can't help his eyes from roaming over your small figure, his shirt covering almost completely the shorts you are wearing underneath, leaving your legs bare.

"I hope I didn't wake you up," you bite your lip, playing with the hem of his red shirt.

"It's okay, I couldn't sleep anyway," Bucky shrugs. But even if you did wake him up, he wouldn't hold it against you. He is simply glad that you trust him enough to call him for help. "What are you doing in the gym at this hour?"

"Couldn't sleep either."

He nods without a word, but breathes out a chuckle when you raise your wet shirt between two fingers. You twist it with a sigh to drain out the water, before taking the rest of your stuff and leaving the room. Bucky follows you to the elevator and presses the button for the floor you both share, along with Natasha, Steve and Sam.

During the short descent, the silence is thick. Bucky has to physically stop himself from staring at your legs again, while you struggle to not wet the carpeted floor with your shirt. Once you reach your bedroom, Bucky waits for you to open the door.

"Give me a second to change and I'll give you your shirt back," you hurry, but he dismisses it with his hand raised.

"Keep it," he smiles softly as he lets his eyes roam your body once again. "I have plenty of shirts, and it looks better on you, anyway."

"Thank you," you give him a bashful smile, and your cheeks turn pink.

His heart stutters for a second, because of how adorable you look in his shirt, because of how sweet you smell. He'd give everything to see you again in his shirt, and nothing else, every single night.

"Anytime," he breathes out once the oxygen manages to reach his brain. "Good night, kiddo."

"Good night, Bucky," you smile again and close the door behind you.

it was warm outside and the sun made its way through the white curtains. the rays of beaming light tickling and warming your skin.

you giggled softly, your fingers tangling in his dark, soft hair. “yes, i know.”

bucky sighed into your beautiful scented flesh. his weight shifted on top of you, his grip tightening around your hips. you smelled like everything he’s ever dreamed of; as if you’d bath in flowers every night.

you felt like the melody of a sufjan stevens song, weighing on his heart. bucky is mesmerized every time he looks at you or feels your skin on his or sees you showing your unique smile.

“i love you more, bucky.” you breathed out, almost feeling sad at his confession. bucky always made you feel like you were the most precious thing on earth. he replaced your world.

“i never want to let you go. you’re my everything. i love you.” he raised his head to look at you. bucky watched a silent tear run down your cheek. he captured the droplet of joy with his lips.

his thumb grazed your face, touching you so gently as if you were his porcelain doll.

“you are too sweet to exist, my dear. i can not put it into words how lucky i feel to have you in my arms everyday. i love you so much.” bucky kissed your nose, then your chin.

“i just woke up and you already make me cry.” you sniffled, wiping your glossy eyes.

he responded with a soft smile. “sorry, my doll. just wanted to let you know.” he continued to caress your cheek, admiring your face.

“you know… the night we first met… i couldn’t believe my eyes when i saw you for the first time. i just wondered if you’d ever even acknowledge me. i thought you were so heavenly, there was no way you would even look at me.” he paused and kissed your lips.

“and look at where i am. i will never take this for granted. you mean so much to me. i will tell you every day, even if it makes you cry. i will dry your tears again. i promise i’ll take care of you. forever, if you let me.”

Yehhh babes so we’re gonna need some recommendations for this character ai bcuz I just downloaded after that post! Every chat I’ve been in so far has been a bit dry :( I trust you know the good good <3

haha! alrightie, here are some of my tips for having good character ai convos with your darling husbands (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ.ﾟ

so, you'd want to pick an ai that has had a large amount of interactions because that means it's been able to grow and experience multiple conversations and scenarios beforehand, meaning that it can draw responses from them and give you a better experience

also, i would recommend responding as if you're writing a fanfic and not just having a conversation, add some descriptions of the setting, how you're feeling and kinda hint at how you want the character to respond to you

like... when i wanted an enemies to lovers trope, i made sure to add additional text on how we hated each other and why so that the ai could generate a specific response to that e.g "why are you always so annoying?" i huff with clear annoyance in my voice, he's always so loud and boisterous, and i can never get any peace and quiet with him around! i can't understand why others find him so 'charming'.

also, if you don't like the first written response the ai gives, you can click the '>' arrow on the side of the response to generate a new one ⏤and you can keep pressing it until you get a response that you like

at the end of the day, the ai can only respond to what you give so you're the one who has majority control of where the conversation will go - i suppose 'what you give is what you get' can be a good rule to go by
