How to Report Bugs on Discord and Apple — A User’s Guide (Powered by Flonnect)

Bugs can be disruptive, especially when you’re deep in conversation on Discord or relying on your Apple device for work, communication, or entertainment. Fortunately, with the help of Flonnect — a powerful screen recording tool and video-sharing extension — reporting bugs becomes quicker, clearer, and more efficient.
In this user-friendly guide, you’ll learn how to report bugs effectively on Discord and Apple, and how Flonnect can enhance the process with features like instant recording, auto-generated transcripts, video trimming, and secure link sharing.
Why Reporting Bugs Is Important
Bug reports are essential for developers to identify and resolve issues. Without accurate reports, problems may go unnoticed, affecting user experience on a larger scale. Whether it’s a chat error on Discord or a lag in your iOS interface, the sooner you report it, the faster it can be fixed.
That’s where Flonnect comes in — it lets you show what went wrong, rather than explain it in long paragraphs. And when bugs are backed by video proof, your reports are taken more seriously and resolved more efficiently.
How Flonnect Helps You Report Bugs Better
Flonnect is a Chrome extension designed to simplify how users capture and share their screen activity. When it comes to bug reporting, Flonnect offers several advantages:
Screen Recording on the Go
You can record the exact moment the bug occurs. Whether you’re on Discord or browsing on Safari, Flonnect captures it all in high quality.
Auto-Generated Transcripts
Flonnect automatically transcribes your screen recordings, making it easier to provide context to support teams without typing lengthy explanations.
Trim the Video Easily
You can highlight just the important part by trimming the unnecessary portions. This keeps your bug report focused and to the point.
Shareable Link
Instead of uploading bulky video files, you get a shareable link that can be included in your support ticket on Discord or Apple Feedback. It’s fast, secure, and accessible.
🛠How to Report a Bug on Discord Using Flonnect
Discord bugs can range from voice glitches to permission errors on channels. Here’s how to report such issues using Flonnect:
Step 1: Capture the Bug Using Flonnect
Open Flonnect and start a screen recording right when the issue occurs. Speak while recording or use the on-screen visuals to highlight the error.
Step 2: Visit Discord’s Bug Report Page
Go to Discord Support and click on “Submit a request.”
Step 3: Fill Out the Bug Report Form
Select “Bug Report” as the category.
Paste your Flonnect video link.
Add system details like:
Operating System (Windows, macOS, etc.)
Device Type (Laptop, Mobile, Tablet)
Discord version (if applicable)
Steps to reproduce the bug
By adding a video, you’re saving Discord’s support team from trying to replicate the bug — making their job easier and your issue faster to resolve.
How to Report a Bug to Apple Using Flonnect
Apple’s ecosystem, while reliable, can still have occasional bugs especially after iOS or macOS updates. Here’s how Flonnect can make reporting these issues smoother.
Step 1: Record the Glitch with Flonnect
Use Flonnect to record your interaction with the Apple app or system. Narrate your actions or let Flonnect’s transcript speak for you.
Step 2: Visit Apple’s Feedback Page
Go to Apple Feedback and select the product you want to report the issue on — iPhone, iPad, Mac, Safari, etc.
Step 3: Submit Your Report with Flonnect Link
Fill out the form, include your system version (iOS 17, macOS Ventura, etc.), describe the problem briefly, and paste your Flonnect video link.
For developers, use Apple’s Feedback Assistant for more advanced bug submissions
Best Practices for Bug Reporting Using Flonnect
To make the most out of Flonnect while reporting bugs:
Reproduce the Bug Clearly
Ensure the error is clearly shown during the recording. Avoid background noise or unnecessary navigation.
Trim to the Important Moment
Use Flonnect’s trimming feature to cut the recording down to the bug moment. This saves time for support teams.
Use Transcripts for Extra Context
Flonnect’s transcript feature allows you to quickly provide a written overview of your recording, which is especially useful for accessibility or language support.
Share a Secure Video Link
Generate and share a Flonnect link in your bug report. This way, there’s no need for file uploads or external hosting.
Why Choose Flonnect for Bug Reporting?
Flonnect isn’t just another screen recording tool — it’s optimized for modern workflows:
No sign-up needed to get started
Supports Chrome, YouTube, and website screen captures
Stores videos securely
Allows you to create playlists for multiple bug recordings
Built-in transcript, summarizer, and link-sharing system
It’s especially useful for QA testers, developers, tech enthusiasts, or everyday users who simply want to make their voices heard in the product development cycle.
Conclusion: Turn Frustration into Action with Flonnect
Whether you’re facing connection issues on Discord or a UI bug on your iPhone, don’t let it slow you down. Use Flonnect to record, explain, and report the problem quickly and clearly. With tools like trimming, transcripts, and instant link sharing, Flonnect transforms the way users communicate bugs.
Next time a bug gets in your way, don’t just describe it — show it. Let Flonnect do the talking, and help the developers fix it faster for everyone.

Hi, I wanted to make a fresh, basic outline of what I want to work on/do for the site! To keep it easy to follow, I kept it to things that would actually be visually seen or be the most interesting for yall. (So there's other things I will be working on in the backend as I go that aren't listed here!)
----------
Item Collection <- (current)
1st Profile Revamp
- Make it more appealing to the eyes (lol)
The Longue
Forums
Trading
Wishlist
Possible Discord Creation
Possibly getting an proper Domain Name
Possible opening site to just sign up straight away (maybe...)
Possible Shop
2nd Profile Revamp
- Favorite Character
- Badge
- Sticker Section
- Profile Comments
- Achievements (???)
Considering ways to make site more interactive
- Mini Games
- World Explorartion
- Avatar Creation
(In other words, things that will require finding and learning how to use another tool, so thats why im putting this all the way down here lol)
----------
The outline will definitely change over time. I might move things around or add or edit stuff based on my ideas, skill level, and everyone's suggestions in the future. But I will do my best to at least be consistent in creating 5 million boyfriends to collect.
Anyways thanks for reading lmao

All done in one night🙏 it’s 7:50 am and I haven’t slept, so if you don’t like this I might cry bro
Your secrets are ours, kid
Yandere BatFam x Reader — CH10 -> CH9 -> CH8 -> CH7 -> CH6 -> CH5 -> CH4 -> CH3 -> CH2 -> CH1
You quietly opened the classroom door, trying to draw as little attention to yourself as possible as you creep inside. You scanned the room, holding your laptop close to your side as your eyes darting around the space with slight panic. Your heart racing from the exertion of running from across campus to get here. Thankfully the professor hadn't started yet and your friend, who already sat near the back of the room, gives you a knowing glance. You give him a sheepish smile as you make your way through the rows of desks to him.
"You cut it a bit close this time." He gives you a cheeky grin. "I made it here though, didn't I?" You retort.
He opens his mouth to speak but is interrupted by the professor clearing her throat at the front of the room, signalling class is about to begin. “Mister Wayne.” She warns, her calculating eyes boring into Tim’s frame. He sits up straight and gives her a sheepish smile.
You have to bring a hand up to muffle your laughter. “Mister Wayne.” You mock quietly, whispering so no one other than the boy next to you could hear.
He felt the eyes of the other students on him like burning hot plates, the majority of them were either envious of him or thought he was an entitled prick.
Of course the professor would call him out for talking when you were the one who ran in late.
Tim couldn't help but smile sheepishly as he was chastised, he had heard your quiet snickering behind. There was this fuzzy feeling in the back of his head at the thought that you were laughing because of him. He had made you happy. He could rub this in Damian’s face later.
The longer class went on the further and further consumed into your little project you got. You had finished the assignment for your criminology course a few days ago, not that Jason was aware. Instead occupying your time with your side hobby. You had over four thousand people following your reporters blog online and it earned you some decent cash. Now far too invested in the lives of the vigilantes of Gotham to really think about anything else. It didn’t help that the people you surrounded yourself with were all geniuses, so you couldn’t rely on them for help even with vague questions as they’d figure out that you’re the author for Blüdhaven’s top trending reporting blog. Maybe Dick could help you, he doesn’t portray himself as the smartest tool in the box when it comes to these things and he won’t ask too many questions.
Your train of thought is cut off as you feel the end of a pen dig into your side, glaring over at Tim.
He kept the pen pressed to your side, not at all being gentle about the small jabs as he tried to get your attention, silently gesturing to you to pay attention to the damn class, not whatever you were doing on your laptop. He’ll have to bug it, seeing as you’re not using your phone as much anymore.
You grimaced when you felt the pen being jabbed into your side again, a silent command to pay attention to the class and stop messing around on your laptop. You rolled your eyes and shot a glare at your friend, who was giving you a pointed look.
You begrudgingly closed the device, knowing that Tim would find other ways to get your attention if you didn’t stop being distracted. You sigh and silently resign yourself to actually paying attention to the class, although you made sure to shoot another glare at Tim for good measure.

Drake follows along quietly as you rush to pack up your belongings. The class seems to end faster than usual, and the moment the teacher releases you from the period, you grab Tim's sleeve and pull him along behind you, quickly making your way out the door with him in tow.
The hallway outside is filled with a mix of noise and chaos. Laughing groups of students chatter away amongst themselves, while others race through, late for their next class. The sound of sneakers scraping against the college’s floors loud and prominent. You push your way through the crowd, guiding him along as you make a beeline for the on-campus cafe.
As you enter the cafe, the atmosphere shifts to a more relaxed vibe. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods waft through the air, filling the space with a comforting scent. The cafe is moderately crowded, with students occupying the various tables and booths scattered throughout. Some chat amongst themselves while sipping on their drinks, while others are engrossed in their studies, textbooks spread out before them. There's a gentle hum of conversation that fills the cafe, blending with the soft music playing in the background.
As you scan the cafe for an available booth, your eyes roam over the cozy ambiance, taking in the various students enjoying their time. However, your search comes to an abrupt halt when your gaze falls on Dick Grayson, the young professor, sitting alone in the corner. You discreetly tug on Tim's sleeve and subtly gesture in Grayson's direction with a nudge of your shoulder.
You notice a subtle change in Tim's expression as his lips curve into a knowing grin. He doesn't seem all that fazed by Dick’s presence, almost as if he was expecting it. As if he was already aware that he’d be here. However, what you been blissfully unaware of was Dick’s impatiently bouncing leg, and the checking of his phone every few seconds.
You pull Tim along to the man’s booth, standing opposite him with a grin. Grayson’s face lights up at the sight of you, and he quickly places his phone face down on the table before standing up to greet you. Without hesitation, he spreads his arms wide, opening them in invitation for a welcoming embrace.
You eagerly accept Dick’s open arms, wrapping your own around his sides without a second thought. Seeking out the familiar comfort of his embrace. Your head fits perfectly against his chest, and you relish the feel of his warmth and the comforting familiarity of this act. Settling snugly against him like a younger sibling would to an older brother.
With your head snuggled against his chest, you're not able to spot the dark grins that spread across the brothers' faces as they exchange knowing looks, their gazes fixed on you.
You gradually untangle yourself from Dick’s embrace and slide into the booth, settling comfortably between the two brothers. Chuckling softly when the oldest Wayne seemed reluctant to let go of you.
“Fancy seeing you here.” He chirps, resting his head in his palm and idly tracing around the carved lines of the table.
You nod, settling back into the booth and intending to let the two brothers continue their discussion without interruption. However, you quickly realize that their intense stares are focused solely on you, their gazes unwavering and intense. The intensity in their gazes prompt you to discreetly clear your throat in an attempt to break the silence.
"You both are staring at me like you have something to say," you comment. Fiddling with a loose strand at the end of your sweater.
The brothers exchange a glance, seemingly communicating silently between them with subtle nods and raised eyebrows. Eventually, Dick clears his throat and turns his gaze back to you, an amused smirk playing at the corners of his lips.
"Ah, sorry about that. Got a bit lost in thought." Dick says, his voice tinged with a hint of humor.
Tim, on the other hand, remains silent, his steady gaze not leaving you. His expression is unreadable, though a small quirk of his lips suggests a hint of amusement.
“Right...” You look down towards the table, noticing it empty of any beverages nor sweets. Had Dick not ordered before we got here?
You blink, realising your mistake and sitting up. “Oh, sorry. You guys know each other right? I’m sure Timmy-boy has at least one of your classes?”
Dick snorts, but quickly quietens down by a sharp look thrown from Tim. “Yeah, we’re... aquatinted.”
Tim subtly kicks Dick’s leg under the table before turning back to you. “Are you hungry?” His blue eyes analysing you.
You shrug, leaning back and drumming your fingers against the table. “I could eat.”
Dick taps the table, leaning forward to get a better look at you. His eyes flicker with curiosity as his gaze roams over your form, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. "What do you feel like eating?" he asks, watching you drumming your fingers against the surface of the table. Tim's expression changes to one of interest as he observes you as well.
The waiter, ever observant, takes this as a cue to approach the table. "What can I get you guys?" he asks, his voice cheerful.
Dick cocks his head, still watching you closely. "We'll have some coffee and some pastries to start," he replies, his gaze flickering back to your fingers tapping against the table.
Tim adds, "Make that two coffees and a basket of assorted pastries."
You nod in agreement with their exchange, letting your hands fall to your lap as you continue to follow the conversation. "Ah, I think I'll go for the milkshake of the day," you add, addressing the waiter who's been patiently waiting for your order. "And I'll take the café's specialty coffee as well, please." Dick almost coos at your manors.
The waiter smiles politely and nods, taking note of your order before hurriedly walking away to place the order. Meanwhile, Dick props his chin on his hand, a sly grin on his face. "Aren't you a polite one?" he teases you, eyes glinting with playful challenge.
Tim watches the interaction, a soft smile tugging at his lips. “Have you had breakfast?” The question is thrown with an air of casualness, but you know he’ll give you that sad puppy face if you say no.
You sigh, nodding. “Yeah, my roommates big on the whole taking care of myself or whatever. He’s a hypocrite I tell you.” You cross your arms, leaning back.
Dick snickers at your comment about your roommate. "Sounds like a character," he remarks, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips. A fond smile at the thought of Jason.
Tim, on the other hand, looks sympathetic. "I can relate," he says, shaking his head. "I've got a brother who's always nagging me about eating healthy and getting enough sleep."
A small huff escapes Dick's lips in response to Tim's words, though it's not loud enough for you to hear. His expression momentarily shifts, a pout crossing his features.
After a few minutes of quiet banter The waiter returns promptly with a serving plate stacked with various pastries. He places it on the table and then sets the drinks down in front of each of you. As the waiter walks away, Tim quickly grabs two of the pastries and places them on a plate in front of you. Pushing the white porcelain closer to you with his pointer and middle fingers.
Dick, meanwhile, takes a sip of his coffee, a pleasant hum leaving his lips. Watching the interaction fondly.
"Go on," Tim encourages, nudging the plate slightly towards you. "Make sure to eat." His gaze is firm, leaving no room for negotiation.
You glance down at the pastry, a feeling of warmth spreading through you at Tim's thoughtfulness. Before you can thank him, Dick interjects, a playful smirk on his face.
"Aww, look at that. Timbo's acting all chivalrous, ain't he?" he teases, elbowing Tim lightly in the side. Tim rolls his eyes, but there's a hint of a smile pulling at the corners of his lips.
"Can it, Dickhead," Tim mutters with no real heat behind his words, shoving Dick's hand off his shoulder. But it's hard to stay mad at Dick, especially when he has that charming smirk plastered on his face. He playfully ruffles Tim's hair, earning him a glare in return.
Dick just laughs, unfazed by Tim's retort. "Oh, don't be like that," he replies, a teasing grin plastered across his face.
Sensing the brewing banter, you take a sip of your milkshake, your attention flickering between the two.
Tim attempts to smooth his hair back into place, his gaze shifting to you. "Don't mind him," he says with another eye roll. "Dick's sense of humor never matured past the age of twelve."
Dick feigns offense, placing a hand over his heart. "Hey, I'll have you know my sense of humor is top-notch," he retorts, a playful glint in his eyes.
Tim snorts, taking another sip of his coffee to suppress a laugh. "Sure it is," he says dryly. "If by top-notch you mean 'borderline obnoxious.'"
You can't help but chuckle at their banter, hiding your smile behind your milkshake.
The sound drawing the attention of the Wayne brothers as they turn their gazes to you. They watch you for a moment, their expressions softening at the sound of your laughter.
Dick's smirk widens as he observes your reaction, his gaze fixated on you. "Ah, there it is," he murmurs, his voice low and soft.
Tim, too, can't help but smile quietly as he watches you, his expression warm. There's an almost admiring look in his eyes as he tilts his head to the side, studying you closely.
You pick up the chocolate croissant, bringing it to your lips the pausing mid-bite as they’ve turned their attention to you.
Dick's eyes remain locked on you, watching as you pause in mid-bite. He leans forward slightly, resting his chin on his hand once more, a playful glint in his eyes. Something dark hidden beneath the ocean swirls of his irises.
Tim, too, observes you closely, his gaze lingering on your face. There's an intensity in his gaze that was absent earlier; it's calculating, almost. A subtle hint of possessiveness in the depth of his eyes. He seems to be analyzing your every expression with a keen interest, as if trying to uncover some hidden secret. He lifts the coffee to his lips, taking a long sip and averting his attention elsewhere.
"You gonna eat that or just stare at it?" Dick teases, gesturing towards the croissant you hold in your hand. His tone is light, but the intensity in his gaze belies the lightheartedness of his words. It’s a subtle warning to eat.
You roll your eyes at the gesture, taking a bite into the pastry. It’s warm, freshly baked. The chocolate drizzled over the top as well as placed inside. It practically melts into your mouth. You bring a hand up to cover your mouth as you eat, hiding the grin. “It’s alright.” You lie through your teeth. It’s amazing. But you wouldn’t give the overprotective guys the satisfaction.
Dick snickers, seeing right through your lie. "Just alright, huh?" he says, feigning disbelief. He leans back in his seat, crossing his arms over his chest.
Tim, a knowing glint in his eyes, takes another sip of his coffee. He can tell you're enjoying the croissant, as evidenced by the gleam of chocolate around your lips. But he decides to play along, a subtle smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
"Maybe you're just too picky," he comments. They’ll get you a life time supply of these once the plan succeeds.
You hiss, putting the half eaten pastry down onto the plate and elbowing his side. Unaware of the chocolate on your face which makes it hard for them to take you seriously. “I am not picky.” You huff, crossing your arms.
Dick suppresses a laugh as he watches you pout, unable to resist teasing you further. He reaches forward, swiping a finger across your cheek to collect a bit of chocolate that's been left behind.
"Oh really?" he says, a smirk on his face. He uses a napkin to wipe off his finger. His eyes never leave your face as he does so.
Tim, sitting to your side, watches the exchange. There's a hint of amusement in his eyes, but he keeps his composure.
You pause, an embarrassed flush coming over your face. How long had that been there?
"You've got a little something right here," Dick says, tapping the corner of his own mouth, indicating where the chocolate is located.
Tim can't help but smirk at Dick's comment, his eyes flickering to your mouth and then back up to your eyes again. He takes another sip of his coffee, leaning back in his seat.
You brush a hand over your face, wiping away the excess chocolate. Though the movement only seems to smear it further.
Dick chuckles, unable to contain his amusement. His eyes roam over your face, taking immense pleasure in the flustered state you're in.
"Here, let me help," he offers, grabbing a napkin from the table. He reaches out, gently taking your chin between his thumb and forefinger, tilting your head towards him. With a gentle touch, he slowly wipes away the residual chocolate with the napkin.
You felt more embarrassed than anything, resting your head against the table afterwards. Feeling like you just wanted to evaporate into the air.
Dick laughs, his amusement clearly evident as you hide your face against the table. He pats your head affectionately, his touch gentle.
Tim watches you, his expression more subdued than Dick's. However, there's a hint of a smile on his lips, a gleam in his eyes that betrays his amusement.

Dick relaxes in the cafe’s empty booth, leaning back slightly as he glances around the room with a touch of impatience. His foot taps rhythmically against the floor, a subtle sign of his restless energy. His grip on his phone tightens as his eyes remain fixed on the screen, watching the blinking red dot on the small map come closer and closer. His fingers tense around the phone's edges, his impatience growing with every passing moment.
As the blinking red dot reaches its destination within the bakery, Dick places his phone face down on the table and casually pretends to check over the menu’s items, feigning indifference despite his growing restlessness. He tries to act nonchalant, as if his mind isn’t anxiously anticipating your arrival.
Dick senses the familiar presence approaching, the shadows in the cafe becoming longer and stretching over his table. He manages to hide his growing excitement, attempting to feign nonchalance, but his giddiness is almost palpable. He looks up from the menu he was pretending to study, his smile betraying him.
He quickly rises from his seat, his body brimming with anticipation. Without hesitation, he opens his arms wide, the eagerness evident on his face as he waits for their baby birds embrace. Practically preening when you bury your face in his chest. He’s sure you can hear his heart going a mile a minute. You fit so snugly in his arms, like you were made to be there. His baby sibling.
He meets Tim’s crazed eyes, a dark grin crossing both of their features. He mouths slowly. ‘All good?’
His younger brother nods, fishing out his phone from his pocket to display the vitals silently. You were good, healthy. He hastily hides his phone once you pull away.
Dick almost lets out a whine. Why don’t you want to stay in his arms, baby bird? Can’t you tell you’re made to be there? Dick struggles to release you from his embrace, his arms reluctantly letting go as he allows you to squeeze yourself into the booth beside him. He manages to put some distance between you and himself begrudgingly, his eyes flickering to your face for a brief moment before shifting his attention to Tim.
“Fancy seeing you here.” He gazes at you with a soft smile on his face, resting his head on his palm as his thumb absently runs over the carved lines on the tabletop. Although he tries to hide it, there's a hint of a pout forming on his lips, clearly displeased by the fact that you've moved away from him. However, he brightens when you don't pull away and instead lean into him when his knee pushes gently against yours in a silent display of affection. Enjoying the proximity.
A comfortable silence runs over the table, a possessive smile on the brother’s faces as they watch you intently. Sitting there so perfectly, your nails picking at a screw on the bottom of your laptop. He shifts closer once you clear your throat, his baby blue eyes honing in on your form. His pupils dilated.
He lets out a content sigh at the sound of your voice. So melodic, it reels him in.
"You both are staring at me like you have something to say," Dick observes you intently, noticing the way you begin to pick at your sweater instead. He can see the anxious habit forming, and silently wishes he could reach out and gently grab your hands to stop you. However, he resists the impulse and simply watches you, his gaze filled with a mixture of concern and affection. He’ll help you with that destructive habit once you’re home, he promises, little bird.
Dick's gaze turns to Tim, a silent silent exchange taking place between the brothers. Dick raises a questioning eyebrow, his grin widening when Tim responds with a subtle nod. Their expressions betraying their shared excitement.
"Ah, sorry about that. Got a bit lost in thoughts." Dick speaks, his voice tinged with a hint of humor. Fondness evident.
“Right...”
Dick's eyes narrow as you sit up, shifting your position and inadvertently pulling your knee away from him. A wave of disappointment washes over him, and he has to bite back the urge to command you to put your knee back where it was. He tries to mask his frustration, his expression remaining neutral, but a subtle tension is evident in his body language. “Oh, sorry. You guys know each other right? I’m sure Timmy-boy has at least one of your classes?”
Dick relaxes a little at the sound of your voice, he grins at Tim's nickname, clearly amused by it. However, his laughter is abruptly cut off as he catches the disapproving look his brother gives him. Immediately sensing the tension, he composes himself, his grin quickly turning into a more subdued smirk. “Yeah,” Dick looks you over calculatingly for a moment, his eyes studying you intently as he tries to choose his words carefully. He pauses for a moment before speaking up, his voice measured and deliberate. “We’re acquainted.”
Dick's attempts to maintain a serious expression falter as Tim shoots him another pointed look and kicks his shin. He can't help but grin, finding his brother's disapproving glances more amusing than anything. He rubs his leg, the younger vigilante having not held back.
“Are you hungry?” His brother questioned, his gaze shifting back to you. You have to be hungry, Dick thought. Jason said you had eaten nearly five hours ago. They can’t let their little bird starve!
When you shrug their eyes narrow, the drumming of your fingers catching their attention. “I could eat.” Your voice broke the silence.
Dick coos. It’s okay, you don’t have to downplay how much you need food. We’ll look after you.
"What do you feel like eating?" Dick's voice comes out slightly breathless as he speaks, his words spoken with conviction. He knows your power over them, and he would do just about anything for you within reason. The cafe is no exception, and he knows that they would probably buy the place in a heartbeat if you so much as hinted at wanting it.
Dick glances at you as you silently scan the menu, his eyes locking onto Tim's right after. A silent conversation takes place between the brothers, their expressions communicating silently what their words can't. Tim then shifts his attention towards the waiter, gesturing for them to come over, while you remain focused on the menu options in front of you.
The waiter, ever observant, takes this as a cue to approach the table. "What can I get you guys?" he asks, his voice cheerful.
They wanted to cut the waiters throat out for the way you flinch at his unexpected presence. Too engrossed in the pictures on the menu to notice the world around you. Snapped out of it by his feigned cheerfulness. You probably hadn’t even noticed your own reaction, seeing how you instantly smiled up at him after.
You needed their protection, that was abundantly clear.
He clocks his head, not sparing the waiter a second glance. "We'll have some coffee and pastries to start," his gaze flickers back to your fingers tapping against the table.
"Make that two coffees and a basket of assorted pastries." Tim adds.
"Ah, I think I'll go for the milkshake of the day," you add, addressing the waiter. "And I'll take the café's specialty coffee as well, please." Dick has to hold back his coos at your manors. So polite.
He faintly hears the waiter’s descending steps. Dick props his chin back on his hand, a sly grin on his face. "Aren't you a polite one?" he teases you, eyes glinting. He’ll reward you for that later.
Tim watches the interaction, a soft smile tugging at his lips. “Have you had breakfast?” The question is thrown with an air of casualness. As if the brothers weren’t already informed.
“Yeah, my roommates big on the whole taking care of myself or whatever. He’s a hypocrite I tell you.” You cross your arms, the childish action making Grayson want to squish your cheeks and hold you close. His baby bird is so cute, complaining about big brother. Not that you were aware that they were yet.
"Sounds like a character," He grins sharply, his eyes softened at the thought of Jason.
"I can relate," Dick’s attention is drawn to Tim as he speaks, the other boy shaking his head. "I've got a brother who's always nagging me about eating healthy and getting enough sleep."
He nearly squabbles. He does not nag. He huffs, crossing his arms at Tim’s words. A pout tugging at his bottom lip.
The rest of the conversation goes like a blur to Dick, coming so naturally to him, as if he was simply bantering with his family. Which he was. No one could tell him otherwise.
His attention is suddenly pulled back to reality as he notices the chocolate smeared across your face childishly, like a fussy child. You feel Dick's thumb gently wipe at your face, clearing away the smeared chocolate. There's something almost instinctual about his gesture, as if it comes naturally to him, like he's done it countless times before.
Dick chuckles as he responds to your surprise, a smirk dancing on his lips. He dabs at his finger with a napkin, his eyes fixed intently on your face as he cleans off the chocolate smudges. There's a hint of playfulness in his gaze.
Dick leans forward slightly, his gaze still fixated intently on your face. He notices the way your cheeks heat up in embarrassment, and his eyes gleam with amusement. A delighted smirk spreads across his face, his eyes never leaving yours as he observes your flustered state. There's no denying it - you were the epitome of cuteness as a younger sibling. Your chaotic charm and antics had Dick and Tim wrapped around your little finger, and the two brothers couldn't help but adore every single moment.
"You've got a little something right here," Dick says, tapping the corner of his own mouth.
Tim couldn’t help but smirk at Dick's comment, his eyes flickering to your mouth and then back up to your eyes again. He takes another sip of his coffee, leaning back in his seat.
Their gazes softening further as you attempt to rid your face of the chocolate only to smudge it further.
"Here, let me help," he offers, grabbing a napkin from the table. He reaches out, gently taking your chin between his thumb and forefinger, tilting your up head towards him. It’s hard to think straight with you looking up at him with that pout and flushed cheeks. Like a little kid clinging to their old brother after having a nightmare. How he wishes he had met you as a kid. He slowly wipes away the residual chocolate with the napkin. Hesitantly to let go.
The brothers let out hearty laughter at the sight of you burrowing your head into the table. They could practically see you trying to will yourself to disappear. Tim grins fondly, shuffling closer. Dicks own hand moving out to pay your head softly. Their touch affectionate and gentle. They wanted to see you like this all the time.

No use of y/n, no use of any descriptive features for the reader, no gender mentioned.
I tried to make the POV’s show the difference in how they interpret things. For example, where you may perceive Tim’s expression as a smile, Dick sees it as something dark. You pay more attention to Tim so he’s mentioned more, Dick pays more attention to you so you’re mentioned more.
Tim Drake is mentioned as ‘Mr Wayne’ because I’d assume that he’d be judged based on his family rather than his actual name.
Should I make a tag list? Would anyone even want to be put on a tag list for this?
Comments and questions are really appreciated!

Now That You’re Here
Summary: Eddie and you were childhood friends, but when you move away due to the death of your uncle Benny (yes benny from S1) that leaves Eddie alone for a few years until he hits high school. However, one day when he’s taking a drive past the old burger place he notices it’s all fixed up and there are cars in the lot and sees a familiar face leaving the building.
Warnings: none to report!!!
A/N: heyyyyy guys!!!! I’m back… after almost a year lmao😔😔😔 anyway… i promised yall an Eddie fic and im finally delivering!! I lowkey might make this into a series because of the way the ending is so… enjoy!!! I will be putting out more stuff just not as frequently as last year I fear idk tho! Anyway, enjoy!!!!!
————————————————————————
The road stretches on for much longer than Eddie rememberers as he drives faster than he should. His speakers are straining as they emit the loud instrumental part of the song he’s listening to and he drums his fingers against the top of the steering wheel.
The full green trees blur past as his speedometer climbs upwards. A bug splats on his windshield as he turns a small bend and he turns on his windshield wipers. His eyes aren’t on the road for a few seconds but when he looks back he finds a car turning out in front of him. He slams on the breaks as to avoid rear ending the vehicle.
“Go!” He tells the car as it slowly gains speed. He pressed on the gas and looks to the left where the car pulled out of a parking lot.
A neon sign is glowing green in the window, telling the world they are “open” while cars are parked in almost every parking space.
Eddie furrows his brows and focuses on the building for the time he can as he keeps driving.
The exterior is painted a dark blue with white trim on the windows and the sign above the door is still red like it always has been, reading “Benny’s Burgers”
He quickly looks down at the doors once more with strained eyes to watch a young woman, who is his age, exit through the front door with a contempt smile. He recognizes her and looks forwards. He knows her but he doesn’t know from where.
————————————————————————
Hours later when he’s working on his van, uncle Wayne pulls into the gravel driveway and gets out of his car.
“Hi, Ed.” He greets.
Eddie waves with his hand that isn’t working inside of the engine, though it’s still smeared with black grease that is sure to leave a stain. “Hey. Where were you?” He wonders as he looks down at the engine once more.
Wayne approaches to stand nearby. He sighs in contempt before he speaks. “Benny’s Burger’s.” He holds up a paper bag with the small beginnings of a grease stain at the bottom. “They’re back open believe it or not. And with the same family, being run by the brother of that friend of yours who moved away some years back.” He looks away in thought, not paying any mind to how Eddie hits his head on the hood upon hearing of his old friend. “She’s a very nice young lady now. She graduated last year from high school down in California. She actually just bought a trailer down here a few weeks ago.” Wayne continues on. Eddie watches him speak with wide eyes and a hand pressed to the top of his head. His uncle sighs. “Anyway, I brought you dinner.” He places the paper bag on top of the toolbox nearby. “I’ll be leaving for work in about an hour.”
Eddie watches his uncle walk off without another word, only a tired sigh and an unintentional slam of the front screen door behind him.
He sighs with a small furrow of his brows. His hand goes up to scratch at his chin where he leaves a smudge of grease behind unknowingly.
Is his old friend really back home? He wonders to himself with a quick turn of his head back to his engine. He grabs a tool and gets to work again, still thinking about her. He used to call her Bat, because she really liked bats.
He glances down at his bat tattoo in distraction, accidentally nicking his hand somewhere inside the complicated metal structure. He carefully retracts his hand to examine the slice in the side of his hand right below his pinkie. Blood drops down onto the top of his headlight and he pulls a face prior to wiping the crimson liquid away. “Shit.” He mutters.
Gravel crunches behind him from the road. “Is this the Munson house?” A female voice wonders.
Eddie turns away from the inside of his hood to face the voice, immediately meeting the eyes of a young woman in a long black skirt and a large band t-shirt. A brown leather bag hangs from her shoulder. Her hair is down and she sends him a smile.
“Yeah, ma’am.” He nods and turns around all the way to face her.
Her kind smile very quickly turns to relief. “Good, I didn’t want to ask the wrong person.” She approaches Eddie with a few strides. Her eyes peer at the engine for a brief moment. “Is Eddie around?”
“I’m Eddie.” He nods at her, recognizing her now that she’s so close. She was the one he saw leaving the diner. “I didn’t know you were back.” He tells her.
Her eyes are big and curious as she studies him, and her hair dances in a slow breeze that blows through the trailer park. There are small freckles on her face and her smile is sweet and looks as if it won’t ever leave. It’s like a permanent smile, and it looks good on her.
She nods up at him, studying his face and his hair. It was short, buzzed all the way down to his scalp when she left. “You… look different.” She smiles. “In a good way, of course. Your hair.” She puts her weight on one leg and pops her hip out to the side as she stares up at him with her head tilted to the side ever so slightly. “I like the look.”
He smiles sheepishly down at his feet for a moment as a strange feeling arises in his stomach. That isn’t people’s reaction to him, but she’s known him for years. “Thanks.” Is all he says at first. “You’ve changed too. You’re very pretty.”
She smiles brightly and looks down at herself. “Thank you!” She reaches up to adjust her bag on her shoulder.
Eddie leans on his van and crosses his arms across his chest. “When did you get back?” He asks her and his eyes slowly look her over.
She widens her eyes and nods as if remembering she did leave. “A few weeks ago! I stayed with my parents until Jimmy finished the restaurant and they helped me get my trailer down the way.” She answers him. “I work at Benny’s with Jimmy, and I’ve been volunteering at the animal shelter, because the cats are cute and I want one.” She smiles big and it’s contagious to Eddie, making him smile as well. He admires her rambling speech. “But yeah. How about you Ed’s, what has my ol’ pal been up to after all these years?” Her eyes wander his face in curiosity.
Eddie exhales, not realizing how much he dreaded this question. He hesitates. “Well… not much actually.” He scratches the back of his neck. “I’m in a band, we’re called Corroded Coffin and we have some gigs at the hideout sometimes. I’m taking another shot at senior year.”
“Im sorry.” She frowns a bit and Eddie wishes he could reverse it so that the crease between your brows would go away. “Do you have a job, or need one? We have a few positions open at the restaurant if you’re interested.” Her thumb goes up to gesture behind herself.
Eddie shrugs and scratches the back of his neck again while looking away, avoiding her sure to be confused expression. “I… do my own thing, to put it lightly. But yeah a job sounds great. I have to get this baby fixed.” He pats the side of his van twice. The sound of hollow metal thuds echo out briefly.
He watches her nod while she looks the van over. She doesn’t judge it or him and it makes him relieved. “Well, we have a dishwasher or a closing shift position open. If you want either one I’ll tell Jimmy.”
Eddie smiles at her, which seems to be constant throughout the conversation. “How’s Jimmy?” He asks, although he’s never been fond of him. Jimmy used scare him years back, not on purpose, but that could have changed. He also wants to know how your family is.
She sighs. “Well… he’s engaged, so that’s something.” She offers a smile which gives him the impression that she doesn’t like her soon to be sister in law. “But he’s good. He’s been working very hard to get the place back up and running.”
He nods. “Wayne said he came in earlier.”
“Oh yeah! We talked for a while, said you were doing good but that I should come by and see you after all this time.” She smiles at him with quick nods.
Eddie nods yet again. “I’m glad you did. I had… a hard time after you left.” He admits with a sheepish smile that is directed to the ground.
She frowns at that. “I’m sorry Ed’s.” She reaches out hesitantly to touch his forearm that is hanging at his side. He feels his skin heat where her hand touches him. When she retracts her hand she speaks. “Maybe we can go out sometime. You know like… dinner or something, tell each other about the time apart.” She shrugs her shoulders and watches his face eagerly.
“I’d like that.” Eddie nods a bit too quickly, also eager to get to know her better now that she’s back. She’s been gone for so long and he wants to know every little thing that she did. Has she dated anyone? Does she have a boyfriend? Is she going to go to college? Is she looking for someone to date?
She’s smiles up at him excitedly and snaps him out of his trance. “Awesome! Here, I’ll give you my number so you can give me a call when you’re not busy.” She goes to dig into her bag for a pen and a small sliver of paper that is wrinkled but it will do.
Eddie watches her write her number down before he talks as she hands the paper to him and their hands brush and he swears her skin is the softest he’s ever felt. “I’m never busy.” He laughs to himself. “Just school, the band and D&D.”
“Not a bad gig though.” She shrugs. “Call me later?” Her eyes are hopeful.
Eddie nods and folds the paper into his pocket, making sure to remember it as she slowly walks backwards from the driveway.
“I’ll see you later, Munson.” She waves.
He nods and says back, “I’ll see you later, Bat.”
She laughs in remembrance of the nickname and turns away, walking down the street until she is out of view of his eyes.
He notices how dark it’s become and decides it’s time to go inside. So he quickly shuts the hood of his van, hides the toolbox away and then takes the bag of cold food inside.
“Have a good shift tonight Wayne.” He tells his uncle who is enjoying his last moments before the night shift. He smiles and then retreats into his bedroom.
The bag of food is dropped onto his bed before Eddie digs into his pocket for your phone number. He quickly places the sliver of paper beside his phone. He’ll call you later, but for now he’s going to relish in the fact that you’re back in his life, and nothing has changed. Well… besides the fact that you both grew up and have grown as people. But he’s dying to know who you are now.

Reverse engineers bust sleazy gig work platform

If you'd like an essay-formatted version of this post to read or share, here's a link to it on pluralistic.net, my surveillance-free, ad-free, tracker-free blog:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/11/23/hack-the-class-war/#robo-boss
A COMPUTER CAN NEVER BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE
THEREFORE A COMPUTER MUST NEVER MAKE A MANAGEMENT DECISION
Supposedly, these lines were included in a 1979 internal presentation at IBM; screenshots of them routinely go viral:
https://twitter.com/SwiftOnSecurity/status/1385565737167724545?lang=en
The reason for their newfound popularity is obvious: the rise and rise of algorithmic management tools, in which your boss is an app. That IBM slide is right: turning an app into your boss allows your actual boss to create an "accountability sink" in which there is no obvious way to blame a human or even a company for your maltreatment:
https://profilebooks.com/work/the-unaccountability-machine/
App-based management-by-bossware treats the bug identified by the unknown author of that IBM slide into a feature. When an app is your boss, it can force you to scab:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/07/30/computer-says-scab/#instawork
Or it can steal your wages:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/04/12/algorithmic-wage-discrimination/#fishers-of-men
But tech giveth and tech taketh away. Digital technology is infinitely flexible: the program that spies on you can be defeated by another program that defeats spying. Every time your algorithmic boss hacks you, you can hack your boss back:
https://pluralistic.net/2022/12/02/not-what-it-does/#who-it-does-it-to
Technologists and labor organizers need one another. Even the most precarious and abused workers can team up with hackers to disenshittify their robo-bosses:
https://pluralistic.net/2021/07/08/tuyul-apps/#gojek
For every abuse technology brings to the workplace, there is a liberating use of technology that workers unleash by seizing the means of computation:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/01/13/solidarity-forever/#tech-unions
One tech-savvy group on the cutting edge of dismantling the Torment Nexus is Algorithms Exposed, a tiny, scrappy group of EU hacker/academics who recruit volunteers to reverse engineer and modify the algorithms that rule our lives as workers and as customers:
https://pluralistic.net/2022/12/10/e2e/#the-censors-pen
Algorithms Exposed have an admirable supply of seemingly boundless energy. Every time I check in with them, I learn that they've spun out yet another special-purpose subgroup. Today, I learned about Reversing Works, a hacking team that reverse engineers gig work apps, revealing corporate wrongdoing that leads to multimillion euro fines for especially sleazy companies.
One such company is Foodinho, an Italian subsidiary of the Spanish food delivery company Glovo. Foodinho/Glovo has been in the crosshairs of Italian labor enforcers since before the pandemic, racking up millions in fines – first for failing to file the proper privacy paperwork disclosing the nature of the data processing in the app that Foodinho riders use to book jobs. Then, after the Italian data commission investigated Foodinho, the company attracted new, much larger fines for its out-of-control surveillance conduct.
As all of this was underway, Reversing Works was conducting its own research into Glovo/Foodinho's app, running it on a simulated Android handset inside a PC so they could peer into app's data collection and processing. They discovered a nightmarish world of pervasive, illegal worker surveillance, and published their findings a year ago in November, 2023:
https://www.etui.org/sites/default/files/2023-10/Exercising%20workers%20rights%20in%20algorithmic%20management%20systems_Lessons%20learned%20from%20the%20Glovo-Foodinho%20digital%20labour%20platform%20case_2023.pdf
That report reveals all kinds of extremely illegal behavior. Glovo/Foodinho makes its riders' data accessible across national borders, so Glovo managers outside of Italy can access fine-grained surveillance information and sensitive personal information – a major data protection no-no.
Worse, Glovo's app embeds trackers from a huge number of other tech platforms (for chat, analytics, and more), making it impossible for the company to account for all the ways that its riders' data is collected – again, a requirement under Italian and EU data protection law.
All this data collection continues even when riders have clocked out for the day – its as though your boss followed you home after quitting time and spied on you.
The research also revealed evidence of a secretive worker scoring system that ranked workers based on undisclosed criteria and reserved the best jobs for workers with high scores. This kind of thing is pervasive in algorithmic management, from gig work to Youtube and Tiktok, where performers' videos are routinely suppressed because they crossed some undisclosed line. When an app is your boss, your every paycheck is docked because you violated a policy you're not allowed to know about, because if you knew why your boss was giving you shitty jobs, or refusing to show the video you spent thousands of dollars making to the subscribers who asked to see it, then maybe you could figure out how to keep your boss from detecting your rulebreaking next time.
All this data-collection and processing is bad enough, but what makes it all a thousand times worse is Glovo's data retention policy – they're storing this data on their workers for four years after the worker leaves their employ. That means that mountains of sensitive, potentially ruinous data on gig workers is just lying around, waiting to be stolen by the next hacker that breaks into the company's servers.
Reversing Works's report made quite a splash. A year after its publication, the Italian data protection agency fined Glovo another 5 million euros and ordered them to cut this shit out:
https://reversing.works/posts/2024/11/press-release-reversing.works-investigation-exposes-glovos-data-privacy-violations-marking-a-milestone-for-worker-rights-and-technology-accountability/
As the report points out, Italy is extremely well set up to defend workers' rights from this kind of bossware abuse. Not only do Italian enforcers have all the privacy tools created by the GDPR, the EU's flagship privacy regulation – they also have the benefit of Italy's 1970 Workers' Statute. The Workers Statute is a visionary piece of legislation that protects workers from automated management practices. Combined with later privacy regulation, it gave Italy's data regulators sweeping powers to defend Italian workers, like Glovo's riders.
Italy is also a leader in recognizing gig workers as de facto employees, despite the tissue-thin pretense that adding an app to your employment means that you aren't entitled to any labor protections. In the case of Glovo, the fine-grained surveillance and reputation scoring were deemed proof that Glovo was employer to its riders.
Reversing Works' report is a fascinating read, especially the sections detailing how the researchers recruited a Glovo rider who allowed them to log in to Glovo's platform on their account.
As Reversing Works points out, this bottom-up approach – where apps are subjected to technical analysis – has real potential for labor organizations seeking to protect workers. Their report established multiple grounds on which a union could seek to hold an abusive employer to account.
But this bottom-up approach also holds out the potential for developing direct-action tools that let workers flex their power, by modifying apps, or coordinating their actions to wring concessions out of their bosses.
After all, the whole reason for the gig economy is to slash wage-bills, by transforming workers into contractors, and by eliminating managers in favor of algorithms. This leaves companies extremely vulnerable, because when workers come together to exercise power, their employer can't rely on middle managers to pressure workers, deal with irate customers, or step in to fill the gap themselves:
https://projects.itforchange.net/state-of-big-tech/changing-dynamics-of-labor-and-capital/
Only by seizing the means of computation, workers and organized labor can turn the tables on bossware – both by directly altering the conditions of their employment, and by producing the evidence and tools that regulators can use to force employers to make those alterations permanent.

🌟 New
We’ve adjusted the limit to how many free-to-join communities a person can join down to 10 per day max / 3 per hour max. If you’re super jazzed to join more than 10 free-to-join communities per day, please contain your excitement for 24 hours. Also, this limit does not get counted when being invited to a community or requesting to join communities.
When filtering posts by tag in a community, we now highlight the tag in the list of tags in each post.
Moderators can now kick and ban members from communities, not just admins.
🛠️ Fixed
Posts made in the first ~24 hours or so of 2025 weren’t being indexed into search results, but we’ve fixed that up.
When reporting a post, blog, or community in the mobile apps, there’s now a “Done” button after filing the report, to make sure there’s a way you can go back to where you were.
We’ve fixed a couple of bugs that were causing activity unread counts to be incorrect because your request-to-join for a community was accepted or rejected.
If you have Fast Queue enabled in Labs, we fixed a bug that was causing the fast queue button on web to have the wrong color on Blazed posts.
🚧 Ongoing
We’re aware that popular free-to-join communities are facing an unfortunate amount of spam. We’re working to add tools to help mods and admins fight that spam, stay tuned for more info here and in the Feedback community!
🌱 Upcoming
We’re working on implementing a “moderation queue” for communities, which will be a place where admins and mods can see member-reported content and take action on it quickly and easily in one place. We may also use this space to automatically move suspicious posts from new members for admins and mods to take a look at before they’re published to the community.
Experiencing an issue? Check for Known Issues and file a Support Request if you have something new. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can!

Site Updates
Last night, the site was taken down for maintenance purposes. We've added some new QoL features:
Hide Custom CSS
You now have the option to toggle a default option that will hide user custom CSS on profiles. This option is in your settings, under Site Theme.
Image Crop Tool
Manually resizing images for thumbnails can be a pain, so we've added a feature that will allow you to crop your main image to size. This feature can be used in profile avatars, character thumbnails, and attack thumbnails. You can also apply a border to attacks!
Emojis in Attack Titles
The site does not allow for emojis or special characters to be used in titles. Doing so would usually result in a POST error, which wasn't very helpful. Now, the site will remove the emoji upon attack submission.
These features are currently in beta, so you may encounter bugs. Feel free to report any instances to the Bug Report Form.

something important to me before making requests was considering the existing workflow cyberpunk virtual photographers use between all the tools available, and what might now be possible with 2.2 that wasn't possible before. major updates can be difficult, so i'm hoping this will make VP even easier and enable more creativity. i'm excited to see everyone's VP in 2025 feature more characters and group poses!
sharing feedback or bug reports in the wolvenkit discord would be super helpful and appreciated.
enjoy!

I've just finished reading your response for the first time,
First off, thank you very much for the GIF and Video, as well as the explanations. I can definitely work with this.
I've downloaded and installed FireAlpaca for myself so I can start comparing what I'm seeing vs what is supposed to happen.
Immediately, Something stood out as weird to me: You're selecting multiple tools at once. That's... not supposed to happen. I tried it myself, Opened like 20 tabs and just started throwing colours at each canvas. This doesn't happen for me At all.
So I'm gonna give you some more instructions. (Tl:Dr for the instructions at the bottom, just above my little rant)
Backing Up your Brushes
FIRST let's make sure you don't lose all of your beloved brushes. from what I'm about to suggest.
in FA, I want you to go to Help > Open Config Folder
That will lead to a folder that, for me, looks like this
Keep in mind that it could look different for you, I have a fresh install with no cool special brushes. (also I can't draw to save my life)
Now simply Ctrl+A (select all) and copy it to another folder. go to like... Documents or Downloads or something, Make a folder called "Brushes Backup" and Paste all of it in there.
Alright, now to the actual thing I want you to do.
2. and 3. Uninstall and Reinstall FireAlpaca
There is some weird glitch I cannot Reproduce. So Just Reinstall FireAlpaca. this is the reason I wanted you to back up your brushes. Deleting the program and reinstalling will nuke all of the settings you use, so by copying the Config folder, you can easily reinstate your settings.
4. Testing
After you have reinstalled the program, I want you to open it, and mess around for however long you think it will take to trigger the glitch. (which sounded like only a few minutes) and see if something happens.
If not: Great!
If yes: You might want to reach out to https://firealpaca.com/report/ and fill out a bug report, and tell them that you have no way of reproducing the bug. (although I really think reinstalling will work)
5. Reinstating your brushes
Now, after you've made sure that FireAlpaca works, only then do I want you to Open the config folder again and put your brushes back. (simply close FireAlpaca after you've opened the folder, delete everything that's in it, and then copy everything from your "Backup Folder" into the config folder. )
6. Testing Part 2: Electric boogaloo
Then if you re-open FireAlpaca I want you to once again mess around a little and pay attention. Because the Bug might come back.
If it DOES come back, It might be one of your settings/brushes that is causing it. Which in that case I unfortunately have to suggest starting over with your brushes.
To recap: I'm asking you to:
Back up your brushes
Uninstall FireAlpaca
Reinstall FireAlpaca
Test to see if the weirdness is gone
Restore your brushes
Test to see if the weirdness is still gone
--- Rant Below ---
I have no clue what's happening to your program. This looks like some bug in the code that just causes FA to say "Nope" and stop responding to the side bar.
This acutally reminds me of a bug I've been encountering in Unity where the program refuses to open one of the UI pages in the Program's settings, which just completely shuts me out of the settings for one of the input libraries. Funnily enough it actually printed an error in my console, and the error was thrown so incredibly deep into compiled code that I was pretty sure I was reading Unity Source Code at that point.
I still don't know what's happening. Luckily I have Other People to interact with that settings page for me.
(This ask is in response to this post)
So once again I took sometime to test all this out, but unfortunately it didn't take me very long to come back with bad news.
So this is exactly what I did in this order:
I went to my config folder and copied everything into a new folder I created in my Documents tab. Then I went to my settings > apps > FireAlpaca and uninstalled. I then went to the official website and reinstalled it.
I opened up what should have been a fresh FireAlpaca and found this,
The red numbers are brushes that I have adjusted/used. And the "Fire roller (multiple colors)" and "twisted ribbon" are brushes that didn't come with FireAlpaca by default. I downloaded them afterwards from their little brush shop. For some reason FireAplaca remembered my brushes..
And of course, FireAlpaca was still breaking in the way that I've described in your last ask.
So I thought "Okay, I don't care if I lose my brushes and settings. I just want FireAlpaca to work." So I deleted that copied folder from Documents that I made, I unpinned FireAlpaca from my taskbar and deleted the desktop shortcut too just to he extra safe I guess..? Then I went to settings > apps > FireAlpaca and hit uninstall. Then went back to the website, reinstalled the latest version and wouldn't you know it,
All the exact same brushes, in the same order with the same settings. And FireAlpaca continued to break the same way.
So now I'm wondering if I did something wrong.. why does FireAlpaca keep remembering my settings? Did I do the uninstall process wrong? I wondered if that cache thing might be holding data or something? I've heard about that before. But with the help of a friend recently I cleared my Google Chrome and Laptop's caches. And FireAplaca didn't change at all and I didn't lose any of my settings. So that cant help me here..
I wonder if somehow my pen could be a problem? I've dropped it on the hard floor 100s of times. Could it be contributing? And what did I do wrong in this process for FireAlpaca to remember all my brush settings?
If anyone has any advice I would love to hear it <:(( Please and thank you very much 🙏🙏🙏
#my response#long post#I am starting to assume that FireAlpaca is just bugging out in this update#but I cant confirm that yet if I cant seem to download a fresh FireAplaca#It KEEPS REMEMBERING MY BRUSHES 😭#And I'm quick to assume I obviously did something wrong but I don't know what <:(((

Grim asks: "But ain't ya already making a cheat tool though? That means you can just make yourself uber strong and beat up Hornton alone."
Idia explains that no matter how much of a genius he is, development is still development. He's never done a project as huge as this before and when he tries it out, it's possible that a million bugs will pop up."
"So I can't just say 'Okay everyone, the beta version is released~ We're hoping for you players to report bugs!"
"THERE'S NO DO OVER HERE! IF WE FAIL, THEN IT'S GAME OVER! THERE'S NO RETRY!"
Which means the most Idia could do safely were two things: take control of his own dream so that Malleus couldn't turn him into a mindless puppet, and remove the invincibility privilege that Malleus has as the game master. He is unable to influence the server beyond that, which means it's also likely not possible for Idia to "power up" himself and the others without actually writing a code for it first, which as he explains, he can't do safely given the difficulty and time constraints.
