because "hanging out" turns to making out turns to you and shauna getting an apartment together a short drive away from uni so you can still make it to your morning classes

shauna feels actually deranged for it. doesn't stop obviously. just writes in her fuckass journal. countless entries about how you look just like her. talk just like her. are just like her.

it always comes back to that first assignment you got paired for— because bisclavret is a tragedy. the lady swore she would love the werewolf but when she found out what he really was, she ran away in fright and wouldn't see him anymore

which, fucking mood for shauna. so things start to spiral

she's obsessive. always trying to protect you, never letting you leave by yourself, and AB SO FUCKING LUTELY never letting you be cold. if you even slightly shiver she whips off her jacket and every other layer and bundles you up until you look like a penguin

she sees you as a second chance, but also as a bitter reminder

you call her "shipman" once and it sparks the only real fight you've ever had— like screaming yelling lashing out fight

you cry obviously because what the fuck shauna???

shauna also cries. apologizes and kisses it all better (doesn't admit that she kinda likes kissing it better.. that's freak for thought)

doesn't usually slip up— but just once she mumbles 'jax' during sex

she takes you to meet tai eventually because tai is the only one who's consistently kept contact with her and is still one of her best friends

a (very speculative) rant on the intelligence of gray matter (and the concept of genetic memory(mostly the latter actually))

ok so something that has always kinda bugged me about gray matter in how knowledgable ben is in this transformation.

and I don't mean his intelligence I mean his knowledge: gray matter could recognize alien technology and species by NAME. this isn't something you could do by just having an high IQ and we've seen Ben do this even before knowing max was a plumber let alone had the chance to have seen this kind of stuff before.

I always brushed it off as kids show logic until I put more thought into it...and realized this isn't only time transformations have shown to carry knowledge

literally in his debut episode, Zs'Skayr has said that the Conciousness of an Ectonurite is contained even in a string of DNA, which not only meant he lived inside the omnitrix, everytime Ben transformed into Ghostfreak, he was physically fused with Zs'Skayr, which is what allowed him to fight for control and eventually escape the watch.

this shows that DNA containing memories is established in the ben 10 universe.

but despite being the most popular sentient transformation there are other less obvious examples in the series

Big chill is a similar yet less extreme example, where the DNA itself wasn't sentient, but its instincts overwhelmed Ben so much it affected his human form and the omnitrix itself

this shows that despite still being Ben, he does a lot of the traits of his aliens like reproductive cycle and instincts, and I really wanna emphasize this, sure we all know the omnistrix can make ben smarter for aliens with big brains or make him more aggressive (i.e rath) for aliens that are naturally competitive.

but I really wanna emphasize while ben's personality and memories are carried over for each alien, he truly becomes each alien, even in how their brains work, he doesn't just gain the knowledge of how their powers work, his brain is wired the same way any individual of that species is, just like how we humans have core fears we all share, or specific behaviors and rituals we partake in like it's second nature, so do these aliens, and when ben transforms the same wired in behaviors he has like all of us are replaced with those of the creature.

ampfibian's case is interesting because he is similar to ghostfreak's.

while Ghostfreak's DNA is said to contain its counciousness and that's why he's alive in the omnitrix, Ra'ad wasn't just scanned he was ABSORBED, not only did he get digitized inside the watch, when ben transforms into him it carried over his counciousness and both had to share the body.

this is huge because this isn't a species which adapted to be able to do this like Ghostfreak. the Omnitrix was not only able to store an entire individual in it, it was able to use Ben's body to reconstruct Ra'ad.

Za'Scyr was a parasite, but Ra'ad wasn't. this is completely the Omnitrix's doing, it was able to capture and fuse two beings, so really there's no limit to what it can hold nor to how much it can change ben.

and he isn't even the only instance of this!

not only is sugolite an example of the watch storing an entire being, he himself is an example of the power of DNA in this show

sugolite was able to revive AN ENTIRE SPECIES decades after they were killed off.

if you thought the omnitrix storing Ra'ad like a poke ball then bringing back in ben's body was impressive, this fucking guy held an snapshot of an entire population of a planet in him, and was able to bring them back just from the crystals in his planet, that's like if you instantly grew a person from like grass.

he was literally called a living backup (I don't remember the exact wording but it was smth like that) of the entire species and all that information was stored in a transformation ben occasionally used.

ok but how does this tie back to gray matter?

we've seen transformations can hold the knowledge of people, but in all these cases it was either information inseparable from the DNA like instincts, or it was literally a whole ass person stored in the omnitrix, there was always a reason why aliens behave the way they do and knew the things they did.

so why the fuck does this guy just...know shit????

I have a theory

Galvans can pass down knowledge to their offspring

I don't mean this the same way we pass down knowledge by teaching, I mean that Galvans, literally can recall knowledge from their predecessors, and use this to intuitively learn have a head start when it comes to survival, if their parent ate a poison berry a survived to tell the tale, their offspring will intuitively know that berry is poison.

why do I think this? well gray matter's intelligence is often showcase through engineering, he has a deep understanding for machines, and while making the omnitrix, what would have been the easiest source for Galvan DNA if not the ENGINEER of the Omnitrix himself?

if my theory is correct that Galvan intelligence comes from them inheriting knowledge from their ancestors and building upon them with every generation, this would mean ben's knowledge while in gray matter comes directly from Azmuth.

every time ben as gray matter shows an incredible feat of engineering, that's him directly tapping into Azmuth's knowledge and life experience, in a way it's like ben tapped into a database built of generations and generations of galvans, truly becoming one of them in a way, which fits with the way the series treats transformations, as ben becoming a member of a different species, walking in their feet like Azmuth intended

so uh yeah that was my rant, don't know how many people will read this cause idk how many ben 10 fans there are on Tumblr, but it's just smth that's been on my mind.

this might be a bit long, but it's something i care about with them ahah So they all have their similarities and differences, tho overall I kinda put Donnie and Raph in one group, with Leo and Mikey in another. The way in that they're all similar is that they are all overlookers and personifications. Protectors for what they represent -w-

Raph and Donnie personify specific terrestrials -- Raph personifies Earth's sun specifically, while Donnie personifies Earth's moon. They are straight up the sun and the moon¹, without much of the nuanced bs that Leo and Mikey have (that ill go into). However, along with that, they also overlook all of the suns and moons out there. They personify Earth's sun and moon, but they overlook, care for, and protect all the suns and moons that exist out there in the universe.

Mikey and Leo work slightly different. While Donnie and Raph personify Earth' sun and moon (while protecting all the others), Leo and Mikey personify all stars and comets that are out in the universe. Every comet, you can point at and go "It's Mikey!," same for Leo and the stars. Their catch though is that each individual star and comet has their own type of a life and soul as well that they share with Mikey and Leo². I go into a looot more detail about that in my FAQ post, which i just updated ahah

But, that's kinda impossible, so Leo just deals with his chronic pain of his kids dying all the time 😭

- Younger siblings being your responsibility. You're their teacher, their second parent, their most available guide (eldest child in an Asian household things ❤️) -> Hoeru grew up to have beliefs that dont align with Kuon's. Kuon thinks he is misguided and wrong. He's the only one that can set him right.

+ As kids, Kuon's praises and sweet touches would be like liquid gold to hoeru. Even if they have a weird relationship now, I'm pretty sure if Kuon praised him, Hoeru would feel like putty inside. It's hard to break off from old wants 🫶

+ not an HC but do you know the whole thing the mom and daughter in EEAAO had? The daughter in the "Alpha universe" was pushed to the limit to be excellent that she became a nihilist and wants to destroy the universe. She seeks out for her mom in this one universe who is awful at everything because she has the greatest potential (the whole "you suck so much that you have nowhere to go but up" thing) and is the only one capable of foiling her universe-ending plans.

(if you’re reading this ily) for a little bit of context: the other night i finished watching all of us are dead btw it was great and i totally recommend if you love movies/shows with zombies like me lol (cheong san my goodness 🤤 he is so awful but so hot i already have saved a fic about him ready to read cause i can’t get enough of his mean horrible ass) anyways. my dream last night was very brief unfortunately but it still managed to change my brain chemistry. as you can guess there was a zombie apocalypse happening as i was stuck in the university i went to 😳 i remember i was hiding when jungsu appeared behind me out of nowhere and covered my mouth so i don’t scream 😭😭😭 (guys i’m kinda embarrassed telling all of this but then who do i share it with if not with you? bare with me pls) and he literally went (EXACT WORDS) “good girl… you’re good at keeping quiet”

and that was it…. 💔 but i remember those words as if i have just woken up GOD I WANT TO GO BACK

ok so like...idk why i need to tell you this, but I've been thinking about our girl eabha for obv reasons lately and i feel like her life goal as a lil kid if she'd grown up in modern times would've been to be, like, an adventure!archeologist...think indiana jones or the o'connells in the '90s/00s mummy movies!

like, ok ok i knowww this profession tragically doesn't ~really exist (SOB) but it would still excite lil eabha bc it ~does combine everything eabha kinda wants!! she gets to jump around like an idiot, gets to learn history, gets to explore the past and the mysteries of science, AND gets to have a slightly throwback vibe from her current century while doing it so she can feel all the more ahead of her time while still looking/feeling aesthetic as hell aldksjfkljsdfsdf she gets to travel to all kinds of exciting places and have incredible adventures and learn smth abt herself and the universe and how to be her best self every single time, all while being a total badass ~and a bookworm simultaneously and even take some principaled stands abt things etc!!!! failing that, (since yes she'd grow up and learn she couldn't ~actually do ~that) she would've probs been the (foolhardy) person who tried a couple decades ago to bring half the titanic back to the surface (only to destroy it instead) dslkajfslkdjf bc lbr your girl ~still def has her marine bent!! <3

like, first off (and probably the most obvious), he's famous. I think he's reached the point where it'd be difficult to figure out who's around you for the fame and who's around you because they genuinely like you.

and sure, he can kinda get around that since he's a memokeeper, can just get into your head real quick and figure out, but what if that wasn't the case? We don't exactly know when he decided to become one.

and even with being a memokeeper, bro gets involved in shady shit. like the 2.6 quest literally had him work for profnana for a while. yeah he was basically forced into it (memetic virus & all) but it's safe to assume he'd consider it all too dangerous to be around

shitty childhood. trope has been done to death, I know, but I eat it up each time. We don't know his backstory, so I'm filling in the blanks myself. to make a long story short, parents who don't support his ambitions but he proved them wrong and actually made it in the industry, despite this he still doesn't really talk to them. type of parents you just can't please, who tear you down each opportunity they get.

Okay. also. we don't know how long he's been a memokeeper, and memokeepers are pretty much immortal as long as they aren't taken out by a memetic virus, so imagine he had a past life. One with people who loved him, who he can never go back to because they've all since passed, and he's left to wander the universe alone. (high-key wanna use this in a fic or something)

to add on, imagine he makes movies about them. I don't think he's the type to make franchises, probably would get bored of redoing the same idea constantly, but just one film about his old chosen family. to immortalise them. to prove they were there and they were loved. ack.

Assistant Director breaking. hehe. I really wanna see this happen in canon. I headcanon that AD isn't memetic but rather an actual little mechanical frog (I don't think the game ever mentions if she's memetic or not, so this is just what I think). I also think Reca built her himself but it has been so long since he's done it he forgot how she was built. or maybe he was so confident she'd never break he didn't bother to remember. I'm just imagining her shattering into a million pieces, and Reca staring in disbelief. it all happaned so fast he could barely process it. and by the time he realises what's going on she's a bunch of scrap metal on the ground. he drops to knees, tears forming, frantically searching his memories for something, anything, about how she was made and how to fix her but he's drawing a blank.

talked about this before, but overreliance on his powers and then he ends up losing them. wet cat of a man. have fun imagining this one

crippling fear of failure. this man is a perfectionist to a fault. He can get very frustrared very easily when his projects don't turn out the way he envisioned, though he tries to never lash out at anyone.

I know he seems really confident in canon, and they've given us no reason to believe he's insecure, but I really like characters who use confidence as a facade. Also, with Reca being a movie director, the guy already know about acting. do you see what I'm getting at.

And based on his posts he's private but not secretive about his personal life. (This is all btw only once he's older. So like in 2020 and onwards when David is 6+. Mostly because of David's age but also to avoid David being targeted by rossi extremists.) So I would say there are occasional pictures of David especially cause in this AU he spends all his free time with David. Like in a photo dump, there's a pic of David playing in the garden or playing with the dogs. There's one of kid David wearing Marc's helmet for fun and it's waaaay to big on him. (Btw David is cleaning Alex and Marc's helmet when they are doing motocross. he's not asked to but he insists because his grandma taught him that they need clean visors and helmets to ride safe so David wants to make sure his papa and uncle are safe) Or one of Alex with David on his shoulders.

A spontaneous appearance in an insta story. Like imagine Marc is trying to do a video that's like "I'm Marc Marquez and Honda has-" and then there's just this tiny flopf of hair that's about his waist that pops up infront of the camera and is like "and I'm David". And Marc is just crackling. He posts that snippet on insta before he posts the actual video that Honda shared. There's the occasional yelling in the background of a video. And of course there are sooo many traces of him. Like a drawn picture in the background of Marc's room when he films a sponsor video or a few children toys on the table in his motorhome.

I imagine it a little bit like how Aleix handles it with his kids, but a lot less posts about David.

Now to Vale... In general I think Vale checks Marc's social. Probably claiming to get an advantage, to understand him and Honda and to get information or smth like that. So he scrolls through his post over a race weekend and it's like. Bike Pic. Bike. Leathers. In the Honda garage. And then David sitting next to Marc while Marc checks the telemetry. Now there are 2 reactions. 1. He immediately scrolls and ignores it. 2. He stares at the picture, at David, maybe a part of him wondering what would happen if he had forgiven Marc and the other part seeing David as the physical prove of Marc's betrayal and he just gets even angrier.

The academy. So the main people that know David are Luca and Franky. Luca because - well he's David uncles and he makes sure to still be involved cause fuck what Vale wants. Franky... Okay this is possible a little spoiler but I was thinking about a Franky x Alex side in the story. So Franky is close to Alex and since Alex is basically a 2nd parent to David, Franky is taking care of David too.

Bez gets progressively closer to David. There's a moment where Bez and David meet and Bez helps him and after that they get closer to the point that Luca drags Bez along to Spain because David asked him to. Luca actually drags the whole academy to Spain a few times. Not often but after a Spanish gp... Definitely.

Marc allows it because Marc wants David to know the other side of his family. And the academy is the closest to the Italian and his world David will get (Marc thinks). So yeah chaos academy visits.

At some point Vale obviously catches on to it but since the whole academy does it, he can't excatly punish or throw them out (cause the he wouldn't have students anymore yk) but it's only really Luca that dares to talk to Vale about David. Yeah he over hears the academy talking about David like Pecco occasionally asking Luca how David is doing, if he's okay, how's he doing in school, if he's still obsessed with xyz. But the actually Vale being told about David does Luca. And Vale is pissed. He is like "and why should I care???" when Luca tells him that David has taken an intrested in engineering and is trying to take apart a bike. (if you wanna be mean, imagine Vale saying something like "Ah yeah? I hope that brat takes apart the bike breals before Marquez goes on a ride". Luca definitely slapped him for that one) and Luca is like "you should care because he's your son" *eye roll*. A few things stick though but to that more in the stroy...

(and maybe one time over Christmas or for David's birthday there's a gift being delivered without a name from who it is or where it's from, but there's a children's toy right fitting into David's interests inside.)

i am seriously (pleasantly!) overwhelmed by all this... 🥺😭 like...

things have been kinda rough for me lately! at times, kinda very rough. and as many of those following me know, the critique and stuff has been wearing on me. ppl are always allowed to critique whatever and to do so publicly, but still, it does impact me to see. i've had to work very, very hard to actually enjoy the things i enjoy in my life rather than just destroying that pleasure preemptively

so a big part of why i'm so emotional about all this is that... this is a lot of people, many of whom i don't know, who love something about this game and willingly shared it. and that matters to me. that matters a lot!

it can feel like, sure, there's an incredible core of ppl who loved this game, but that almost everyone else - like, in the world, everyone who played it - has a middling to decidedly negative view of it. and this was a really wonderful disruption to that mindset! a mindset brought about by the loudest voices being the absolute shittiest (and often, the most openly bigoted)

so this is important to me because i love veilguard, yes; but it is also important to me because it's a very important reality check that other people loved it, too. that this game meant something to other people. i mean, if i'm somehow the only person in the world who likes a thing i will still like it, but people want community and i'm no different

and the endless critiques can make me feel like i'm just ignorant af somehow, too. like i'm missing the point entirely, playing a totally different game, making up value where none is to be had. it's smth i keep working on, but for rn all i can say is that those feelings are real and persistent, and is why i had to recently unfollow a lot of ppl who did post critiques - even tagged critiques, bc i still sorta see them - bc it was just... leading to me feeling like a bad person. the guilt! the weird misplaced and kinda ego-centric guilt! but alas, however much i can intellectualize my way through it, the feelings are real

so, yeah. this means a lot. not just gushing about a shared love for a videogame, although of course that too - but realizing that i'm not making smth up, that the value i'm finding in it is real, even if it's not universally shared

idk. i'm rambling now. i'm overemotional but i'm very grateful to everyone and very eager to get back into it tomorrow 💖💖💖

Honestly smth i find weird is how Oz has, seemingly, never been to the Ever After.

Cause like,, Oz is OLD. He's thousands of years old- and that's a very vague timeframe, that could be 5k years just as easily as 90k years. Regardless, that's a LONG ass time and a lot of lives; statistically, he WOULD have ended up in the Ever After, considering the Blacksmith implied that more than just the people we know had ended up in the Ever After, and Alyx and Lewis got there entirely on accident.

Hell, it's possible SALEM has gotten there. Miles said in a cameo that Salem knows more about the Brothers now than she did during and right after her rebellion, and one of her WOR videos (the one on aura) depicts a Blacksmith (which like, could be coincidence lol)- so it's entirely possible Salem, at the very least, knows about the Blacksmith.

If *Salem* knows even a tiny bit about the Ever After- then I really wonder why Oz... doesn't. Cause from my perspective and what I remember, it seems like he only thought it was just a story, and the theory that Lewis was an ozcarnation, iirc, was debunked. So Oz has never been to the Ever After, at least from what we've seen.

And i just think that's weird? He should have at Some point, but he hasn't. My working theory rn is that Light made it a part of Ozma's curse that he can't end up in the Ever After, if that's even possible.

But I wanted your thoughts on it, cause idk if it's a plot hole the writers overlooked, or if it's something that has an in-universe explanation lol

i'm very mixed on this bc on one hand, oz recognized the story when oscar was quoting it, telling him that he has lived through his fair share of fairy tales, which is a leading statement that implies the girl who fell through the world is something he is personally familiar with—i.e. he has lived through it. sure, the line might just be in reference to all the other fairy tales that are about oz's experiences, but if you're show-only watcher and know nothing about the fairy tales of remnant, that context is lost on you.

but then. . . oscar tries searching for more information in vacuo, narrating that "ozpin has no explanation of what might have happened" to those who fell, which then takes us to a completely different direction. one explanation could be that, well. there's probably multiple ways of ending up in the ever after—like i sincerely doubt alyx and lewis used to staff to create this pathway "not on remnant" and then fell lol—, and you simply cannot assume that different entry point has the same exit, right?

so. a mixed bag. one possibility is that oz himself hasn't been in the ever after, but one of his reincarnations before he reincarnated into them might have. so, no personal experience, but memories of one, yes.

and i kinda feel like salem might be in a similar kind of boat? part of the curse the gods put on her was that she would walk the face of remnant as long as it turned, and i get the feeling that's very literal, in the same vein ambrosius takes things literally; she can't leave remnant. it echoes back to her tower, the window that was her only view to the outside world, blocked by an invisible barrier that she couldn't get through, and it would explain why they've made the point of the space within the vaults not being on remnant—and hence why she needs others to get the relics for her, or why she never appeared on the bridge despite being back for some time while the battle was still going.

but it's still possible that someone salem knows has been in the ever after and this is where my "summer rose is still alive" agenda and "why did the sundered rose appear in the ever after like that?" question meet.

. . . anyway. i think it makes sense for the gods to make some rules for both oz and salem in terms of where they can and cannot go, bc ascension could very easily turn into a "get out of jail for free" card re: their curses, and the gods would obviously know about it, so better nip that at the bud before it's too late.

so my guess would be that neither oz or salem have been in the ever after personally, but someone they know (or have reincarnated into with oz) has been, and that's where their knowledge comes from. . . if they do know anything, at all.

honkai star rail x sonic the hedgehog im done brainstorming, i have to share this

long story short im grinding hsr alot lately, so i suddenly thought about an au where shadow sonic tails.. etc exists in the universe, its kinda dumb and corny but i just really like brainstorming them in games i play..

i havent thought about where their planet will be, maybe smwhere where ages and time are forever like xianzhou ppl

they will have human forms!!

shadow has memory lost, but he remembers whatever happened in the past, very clear, so he easily gets lost in a place because he cant rmb "now" but the "past"

sonic who is still sonic, he saves day and yadayada but there comes a day where he fought until exhaustion gets to him*, he won the fight but his energy is completely gone, (*inspiration from the scene shadow the hedgehog 2005)

so shadow finds sonic restless and saw he was deeply wounded, it wasnt looking good for him, he brings sonic back to tail's base (sonic tails shadow was on a planet tgt, amy, knuckles rouge,, all in their own planet*, (*inspired by sonic frontiers where amy said shes leaving onto a journey on her own)

tails shocked to find his brother badly injured, he tries to help, but it was failure, so after deep thoughts he decided to give sonic prosthetics, but it wasnt only a arm/leg, but all his limbs (look ik its corny af but I REALLY HAD THE VISION) yes boothill bootleg version you can say

due to all his limbs being mechanics now he can no longer fight freely like he used to or change forms easily, (tails still working on it) it will overheat and break the prosthetic* if he goes too far in battle (*yes luka from the event), tails did try his best to help make the prosthetic able to let sonic have his speed back as much as possible w/o having his prosthetics breaking down on him

after this happens, shadow was not in the mood for anything really, and smth triggered him (still thinking) which made him have Selective amnesia**, (sort of, pls dont attk me too hard on this, i never really did research) a disorder where (**not actual, will differ since its not really taken from actual disorder, i just think it kinda relates, count it as a placeholder) he can only rmb the stuff that happened in past, if smth happens in now, he most likely will forget

so sonic wakes up after years.. he reunites w shadow, and (tbc, my brainstorm stopped at here)

my predictions for the henry danger movie

in honor of the movie coming out in TWO DAYS!!! im dumping everything ive got & for each prediction i get right i get a gold star from myself for being right/j

disclaimer i haven't watched any leaks or anything that's come out after the one glee dango released where henry falls into missys room so if any of this has been even slightly right plzplzpxl don't spoil it but but :)

- missy stole the RAD from evil science corp or smth related to bill evil. how'd she do it? no clue! bill evil isn't in dystopia at all! but it would be like so cool if we reconnected rick twitler stuff even vaguely like that because im never done thinking about it

- henry will end up almost dying and then missy will save him

- charlotte and or ray will have a small little cameo / feature in one of the universes to feed the fans some them breadcrumbs

- there will be an angst/pump up moment between henry & missy where it's kinda a call back to how henry felt really stuck/like shit with ray towards the end & comparing it to how he kinda feels now because he has no clue what to do to fix this? like i rlly do want them to mess w the jaspers sidekick au to its full extent and kinda do a swap between jasper and henrys roles in the series like so in that universe jaspers the super cool flashy hero & henrys the weird comic relief best friend/sidekick & so when our universe henry feels like shit about not knowing what to do its like tenfold because of that aspect?? and missy is gonna have to like pump him up to keep the story going & it's gonna bond them more

- i think the way the different henrys are gonna work is gonna be slightly weird. like for each universe it has its respective henry, but since our henry jumps into all of them what i think happens is that he like rather than becomes a whole new entity in that world he assumes the consciousness of the version of himself that's already there & has vague knowledge of the lore the other henry has lived in. like for example on how that works, our universe henry jumps into the jasper's sidekick au. when he does, he just takes the body of the henry that already exists here but if hes asked to recall some canon event that missy wrote about, he kiiinddaa can, but it's still kinda fuzzy. but like the henrys don't duplicate, that same jasper's sidekick!henry isn't different from dystopia!henry because they're the same guy at their core, so he just like shares a consciousness w that guy for a second. as goes for the other characters in the story!!

- the movie takes place at LEAST a year post the df ending because that would give time for charlotte to end her gap year in dystopia & have been long gone to her new life by the time that the movie plot rolls around. therefore that would be the reason why charlotte isn't in it

- they WILL NOT WIN!! like they'll win in conventional terms like take down vampire piper or smth (which is probably gonna be one of the main antagonists) but there will be implied emotional/physical after effects of some kind that render them not completely victors but still victorious nonetheless

- i stand by the idea that blackouts gonna be in it. the trailer w that dude dressed in all black is ABSOOLLUYTEELY BLACKOUT DEAR GOD!!!! if it's not im gonna be upset but i sossoosososo hope it's him because i really did want to see more of his character because you can't just canonize a soul eating bounty hunter who's out for the protagonist and never address it again like what???

- jasper and henry are gonna be SO fucked up w dystopia and the actual second that piper & schwoz pull up they're gonna try to urge them to go back home immediately without any hesitation.

- also, adjacent to the last two slightly, i don't entirely know if jasper and henry are gonna be the actual like epitome of good vs evil, i think they just take jobs from whoever pays them enough without really background checking the job because it's like.. whatever pays the bills ig!!! since bizwatchs whole thing is "we handle ur bizness" do they really check what kind of business they're handling oorrr?? and i think they might've taken a bit of a fucked up job & accidentally pissed off blackout who was like an ally to the guy they took out and then that's why blackout's after them!! and then that's the entire plot for like 1/4th of the movie until missy pulls up

- speaking of missy, she will be COOL AS SHIT!!! hopefully im gonna end up loving her and if not ill cry

SladeTalia: they fucked! in canon! there was some bullshit plotline where Talia tried to give Slade Damian and pretend he was his son instead! ex fuck buddies who show up just to make each other's lives harder bc they wanna fuck so bad it makes them have stupid brain. also they're both hot as hell. i'm weak for big strong milf/dilf idk idk.

DickTalia: LISTEN TO ME. TALIA WOULD TREAT HIM RIGHT. THEY BOTH KNOW HOW EMOTIONALLY DEVASTATING IT IS TO LOVE BRUCE. LISTEN TO M- ok aside from that. Talia is someone who tried so hard to be good, to choose to be kind. She loved Bruce because she saw how hard he tried to do good in the world. Her character has gotten considerably colder over time, in huge part due to a certain writer writing about her despite knowing nothing about her, but in universe i try and rationalize it as a growing cynicism stemming from both her father's gradually increasing cruelty and Bruce's failure to support her or commit to her or to even just respect her. She hasn't been shown to have very many people in her life who she can really trust and be close to. She used to have a good relationship with Ra's, she used to have Bruce, she's even lost Damian at this point. She feels like such a lonely character to me. And I think Dick would be able to see that, be able to understand it better than most. He's always had people who loved him, people he could turn to, but he's also ended up perpetually isolated for one reason or another. Dick and Talia both feel to me like characters who are so lonely the further they get in their lives. I could see a silent understanding there. The kind of people who would be able to find solace in simply sharing a space with each other. Neither of them like to talk about what they've been through, I think they'd like to have someone who just gets it. Trauma for trauma, you know?

SlaDickTalia: several angles available here.

1) Dick deserves some sexy older lovers who would wine and dine him and also rail him within an inch of his life and also kill for him. i am not immune to the aesthetics!! to the allure of a hot older duo double teaming their young spitfire partner!!!

2) corruption arc. u know u wanna.

3) Dick's fear of abandonment x the 2 most devoted people on the planet. if they were dating nothing bad would happen to Dick again, Slade and Talia just wouldn't allow that. smth smth, couldn't get rid of them if he tried <3

4) Bruce would hate it and that's always fun :3 not that that's hard tho, Babs is like the only one of Dick's partners that Bruce liked and that's bc he wants to keep it in the family.

5) healing.... sobs...... esp when it comes to feelings around parenthood. Those three have shit to work out and i think having some company would help.

6) They all need more people time but 2/3 of them don't get along with anybody so they're kinda stuck with Dick. that kid will forgive anybody if u bat ur eyelashes and behave well enough. He's also more likely to still see them as people despite everything they've been through, and when you're a military experiment and a semi immortal daughter of an immortal terrorist... It can be hard to find someone who looks at you like you still have a chance at humanity.
