I was about to write and ask about how there is small evidence for the movie being non-canon. Since it seems to be pre-3rd anniversary and all the characters meet Movie Miku. But then I realized SEKAI would be the type of game to have it's characters go "hey remember when we met that weird Miku 6 months ago..." and then have a flashback event

They did this with Nagi and Taiga's introduction so yeah it checks out

I'm going to expose some of my delusions here:

Arashi is an OC of mine, but I also use him as my TWST Ramshackle OC... He was actually ORIGINALLY a TWST OC that I made into an OC with proper lore and stuff in my own personal stories (namely FTW) <3 but the TWST version of him I keep very close to my heart <3

I'm quite. Obsessed. With Leona. So that led to a lot of Thoughts™ of Leona x Arashi (LeoAra). Are they just friends? Or something more?? Who knows 😏

I hope to expand on Arashi's TWST version some day! I don't usually pair OC x Canon but this one is just. Ugh. UGH. My delusions. Guilty pleasure.

this is just a general appreciation post for all of you that i’ve crossed paths with in the last few months on here. i’m new to actively posting & writing on tumblr, (literally like fresh out the womb, i just started learning the ropes about 5-6 months ago after dipping at around 16, tho i’ve lurked on and off over the last two years lmao) but i’ve been in the pedro fandom for almost three years now and the tlou fandom on and off for a bit longer. some of you i met over on twitter and then we kinda bumped into one another over here and some of you i’ve only just met on this app but the amount of time doesn’t really matter to me. you’ve all been so lovely, warm, kind and supportive and i’m forever grateful for that.

i’m not good at reaching out or being the first one to dm, usually i just mind my business, (but a good friend of mine once described me as “always thinking about her mutuals but never reaches out” 😭) tbh i get really anxious and i overthink a lot and i won’t lie sometimes even just commenting on a post gives me bad anxiety 💀 so this is me just saying hi and telling y’all how much i appreciate you since this feels like the perfect opportunity 🫶🏻

It’s so interesting to me how the DC fandom right now is stuck in this weird time period which has never existed in the comics but seems to exist entirely within fanon. And it exists in an extremely substantial amount of fanon works even though it’s never been an established time period

Its like. Damian is robin, Dick is nightwing and Bruce is Batman, but Tim is still red robin. And even though he’s red robin he’s out as bi, which happened like ten years after his red robin run. And Babs is still oracle and she’s still in a wheelchair and no one is batgirl, but her and Dick are usually not dating even though they’re dating atm in the comics. And Jason exists in this nebulous state where he both is and isn’t an active criminal like some high stakes Schrodingers cat. Steph and Tim usually aren’t dating either. Alfred is somehow still alive, and almost no one in the fandom acknowledges that he’s dead in their fanwork

And Jon and Damian are friends, Jon hasn’t been aged up, but he’s also usually acknowledged as being bisexual (even if it’s not a ship fic). Kon is alive and everyone remembers him. The powers that either of them are able to use are entirely dependent on the whims of the author

It’s anyone’s guess as to whether a fanfic author decides that Barry or Wally is going to be flash in their fic. Bart is always impulse, he never retired at any point, in a few fics he never even died even though Kon did. Roy Harper is Jason’s friend and rarely Dick’s, Lian is a young child, and Kori is Jason’s friend. No mention of the other titans

It’s so weird cause like. It’s not that these events never occurred in canon it’s just that they all occurred at wildly different points in time, not usually overlapping, and somehow the fandom has collectively decided and agreed upon this made up time period which has never existed in the comics. It’s kind of cool honestly but also genuinely bizarre

Our dnd group had a session this week. I (the cleric) cast shield of faith on one of the players and jokingly described it as the Matrix of Leadership. He used it for beam attacks 3-4 times. I have won at dnd

Should I write a 5+1 fic where Edwin and Charles swap surnames and nobody comments on it (and one time someone did) or the angsty fic where Charles is dragged to Hell alongside Edwin in episode 6 sans the notebook or his bag?

Highlights of both are:

• reversal to form of death due to distress

• inter- and codependency galore - Edwin will try to use magic from memory to different levels of success, Charles will fistfight a doll (or a thousand): neither can think straight (in more way than one) without the other safely tucked away by their side

• old married couple on acid (yes even in hell)

• Niko and Crystal will feature as deus ex machinas on earth that will never reach hell - in different ways for the two fics tho

• Charles being just as good of a detective as Edwin - also being two cm shorter than him

• their dance parties aka the intro. I will figure out a way for Edwin to dance like that. I will

• the idea that haunts me: part of Edwin's disdain for the Cat King's shtick is that he was more than once caught in Lust - the only times he was glad the babydoll demon caught him when he did - touch aversion due to even more trauma - I like traumatizing my characters

• Charles and Edwin regularly go on walks and trips around the country - festivals, events, landmarks - I definitely have to look up so many British things

Also I think my theory about Wilson being aged by the Ink Realm ended up pretty adjacent to canon/word of god? (Their reasoning was that the trips back and forth took a toll on him, which is also fun). SO THATS NEAT. I joined this fandom so late that getting actual canon confirmations of things now is quite stressful LMAO.

Anyway at this point my most strongly held unprovable headcanon about BatDR lore might be that Nathan was cheating on his wife with Joey, and Wilson knew, but Tessa never did. It lets Wilson be a little older (as old as 53 vs max of 46) if Nathan had a child prior to reuniting with Joey in the Sparkle Unicorn Speakeasy That’s Probably Definitely A Little Bit Gay, and it fits with Wilson’s frustration seeming so petty and blatantly incorrect, if there’s an additional insult in his father’s admiration of Joey that Wilson can’t say without outing his father.

We poke a lot of fun at Wilson (a wholesome activity that’s fun for the whole family) but like… [glances at Sammy Lawrence… glances at TLO…] it just makes a lot of sense that his weird, nonsensical obsession with taking over the Ink Realm might have come from interacting with the machine and the ink. He says the Machine speaks to him, and it just sounds like Wilson got Sammy’d by the Ink too, he just assumed it was the Machine speaking to him instead of the Demon (and if the Sammy in the cycle is the same guy, which the archive implies, then we have potential evidence in BatDR that Sammy’s also wrong; the Demon has a voice, and Sammy doesn’t seem to hear it). And then he gets fixated on taking over the Ink Realm, something that, really doesn’t seem to, fufill any reasonable goal? How… will this win his father’s attention or admiration exactly? He comes up with a bunch of conflicting reasons why this is a good idea, but none of them make much sense, and each trip back to the place he now calls “home” wrecks his human body more and more, and it just seems like MAYBE he’s being influenced to do something that is not in his best interests.

Maybe Wilson was very different before the Machine.

Anyway, the Archive stuff about Wilson is super interesting. He’s always struck me as a character who seemed like he'd had his role altered at the last minute, AND NOW ITS CONFIRMED: HE DID!! And honestly this has made me feel somewhat calmer about him as a character, lmao. Like, all the places I can point out that seem like super weird choices aren't really choices at all; they're backups. He doesn't fit because he was designed as part of an entirely different puzzle. I'm super curious what the more complicated story with two villains could've looked like, and maybe it would've ended up with characters that made more sense, but honestly, focusing on what they could feasibly finish and polish seems like a really wise choice for something that is a game first, story second, and now that all the baffling choices surrounding Wilson make sense on a meta-level, I feel like the part of my brain going WHY THIS IS SO DUMB can finally rest lmao.

So uh Mono's a magic... person.... thingy that fell out of the sky one day into the main character Yujin's backyard. Her wing's broken so she gets to stay at Yujin's house for a bit while it gets better. She got amnesia (probably because of the fall who knows) and cant remember anything for the life of her, but is still living her best life by annoying the heck out of everyone on the planet. She blackmails world leaders and raids keychain shops with her bestie Riv (who's a 14 year old and makes guns for a living gjghdjgg). Her ultimate goal is taking over the world with riv because they could SO do a better job at overlording than everyone.. Theres actually this entire thing with mono remembering something from last year and having a mental breakdown yada yada intense plot thing but no one in-universe even remembers that stuff anyway so idk
