𝐒𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐑𝐀.
✦ gotta guide him through it. At first, he didn’t really see the appeal of it. Why do it over the phone when you could meet up instead. ✦ but OH once he’s in the zone though, ONCE HE UNDERSTANDS? SEES THE LIGHT????? I’m wishing your pussy good luck because you’re doing it often. ✦ your phone rings sometimes at 2 am and you’re met with a panting Sakura. He sounds so apologetic too — he’s fought against calling you and just handling it himself. But he couldn’t help it. He has to call you. To hear you. ✦ “Strokin’ my cock right now. F-fuck m’sorry but can ya touch yourself for me too? Couldn’t get ya outta my head and I—ngh.. Need t’cum. Please, baby. It’ll be quick. Promise.” ✦ narrator’s voice: it was in fact, not quick at all. ✦ he likes sending over voicemails at night when he knows you're alone, when he's needy (which is often). ✦ it's mostly just of him panting into the receiver, recalling the events of the day and how each thing you did turned him on. You often end up sending each other voicemails to quench the thirst but god damn it. That doesn't come close to fucking.
𝐔𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐘𝐀.
✦ another one of the ":o I don't see the appeal of phone sex when we could just see each other instead?" gang. He sees the vision real quick when you dropped something while you were talking though. You bent down to pick it up and let out a soft grunt. He couldn't stop his mind from wandering. ✦ BIG ON PRAISE. GRUNTS AND SIGHS INTO THE RECIEVER LIKE HIS LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. LOVES DOING IT WHILE HE'S LAYING DOWN, PANTS HURRIEDLY UNBUCKLED AND MESSY, SHIRT HAPHAZARDLY THROWN TO THE SIDE. PHONE WEDGED IN BETWEEN HIS CHEEK AND SHOULDER WHILE HE STARTS STROKING WITH ONE HAND AND THE OTHER TANGLED IN HIS HAIR, GRIPPING IT LIKE YOU WOULD--(gets dragged off stage kicking and screaming) ✦ big switch. He's Umemiya, after all. He's the feared and respected leader of the Bofurin for a damn reason. Very sweet when he's just in the mood on a random day, chuckling in between because that's just how the both of you are. It's fun! But when he hasn't seen you for a couple of days? Oh FUCK. When his voice would normally grow soft and whiney, has morphed into growled responses with him fucking his fist desperately, trying to remember how your cunt would swallow him whole. ✦ "G-Good girl, my good fuckin' girl. Filling your pussy up with that dildo you bought? Not good enough, huh?" he adds, grunting as he's imagining you fucking yourself with the dildo, panting and unsatisfied, knowing full well you need him filling you up instead. "I really miss you, babe. You'd look so pretty-gh-! Underneath me right now. So pretty." ✦ cums hard every time you're on call, grunting and wheezing out your name so desperately you almost feel like he's trying to summon you somehow. ✦ Thanks you for it too. It's cute!!! Ends with both of you cleaning yourselves up, still on call. You both often fall asleep together with your phones still on.
𝐒𝐔𝐎.
✦ you both call often. He just loves hearing your voice! Thing is, you never know when he's in the mood. But he somehow can tell whenever you are. What gave it away? Was it the way your breathing stilled when he let out a sigh when he stretched? Was it the way you tripped over your words when he lowered his voice just a tad? Was it when you were left speechless when he praised you for finishing a task you were putting off? Was his teasing working on you? Whoopsies. ✦ INSTRUCTIONAL WITH IT. He’s so good at directing you what to do. ✦ “Want you to imagine my fingers, dove. Why don’t you ease just two in for me? That’s my girl. Now curl them up a little. Keep your mind on me." ✦ you want him to feel good too :(((((( so you ask for him to do the same as you. Of course, he lets you beg a little first. Little did you know he was already fucking his fist before you even started. ✦ has one of your clothes or panties close by because he loves smelling them. He loves your scent. It helps him get off. Hell, he gets horny in public when he takes a whiff of your perfume. ✦ he gets more vocal when he cums and that’s when you KNOW for sure he’s jacking off while listening to you. String of expletives and grunts escape his lips while he spills onto his hand, dribbling down his knuckles while you’re riding out your high.
𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐘𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐔𝐓.
𝐊𝐀𝐉𝐈.
✦ FILTHY. FILTHY. FILTHY. ✦ doesn't have much toys but he has a tenga flip and uses it whenever he calls you. Can’t just go full hand and lube. (Probably has a warmer for it too. Mhm. Yeah.) ✦ another "clothes stealer". Has stolen your panties and shirts a couple of times. ✦ you can hear the wet squelching through the phone whenever he thrusts. Whether it’s lube or his cum, you could never ever tell. ✦ AGAIN, FILTHY. SO SO SO SO FILTHY. ✦ “y’getting off to this, huh? Listening to me fuck my toy? Fuckin’ know you’re soaking wet for me now. Lemme hear it. Lemme hear my pussy.” ✦ “keep up with me. Don’t you fuckin’ cum until I say so.” He barks, but he ends up cumming before you. He’s still pumping his sensitive cock waaay after he’s released though. He wants to hear you fall apart. ✦ bites back his whimpers but when he cums? Jesus. He’s stuttering out your name, repeating it like a damn prayer.
𝐊𝐈𝐑𝐘𝐔.
✦ HAS SO MUCH TOYS HOLY FUCK. ✦ he sends over photos of them before he calls, wanting you (yes YOU, dear reader!) to pick the toy of the night!!! ✦ he’d much prefer doing your mutual masturbation over facetime but you suggested a voice call. Who is he to deny his princess? ✦ always opens with a syrupy sweet, “How’s my baby?” and eases you into it with him. He never starts without you or without your express approval. If you’re suddenly not in the mood, he gets it. It happens sometimes. You guys could just talk instead. ✦ praise praise praise. Whispers the raunchiest and sweetest things to you. Talks you through it, guides you. HE’S WAY TOO GOOD. ✦ “Need my pretty princess right now. Need ya to sit on my face—taste so good. Fuck… Your pretty little moans too. I’m addicted.” ✦ “Remember when I did that thing you liked with my tongue? Yeah? Want you to do that on your clit with your fingers. Circle around it f’me, princess. Mhm.. Oh? Not good enough? Need my piercing on it? Naughty.” ✦ PORNOGRAPHIC MOANS. SO FUCKING PRETTY??? You’ve asked for his permission to record some of them. Of course he lets you. ✦ sends photos of the aftermath if you want him to. His cum on his still clenched abs, his trimmed happy trail, over his belly button piercing. Yum. ✦ HAS DEFINITELY POSTED ON GWA YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE.(it’s JOI too :(((( he’s secretly dedicated some audios for you. May or may not have accidentally whispered your name in one of his jerk off with me audios too :(((((((( man I’m sobbing into my pillow. Nobody touch me.)
𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐎.
✦ you can’t look at this man and say he’s shit at phone sex. You can’t convince me otherwise. You just can’t. ✦ of course, he’s absolutely cracked at talking dirty to you. It’s always a mix of praise and degradation with him. ✦ he’d be happy if you just sent him nudes, really. But he’s over the moon once you suggested to do it over a call. Immediately is palming his hard on through his jeans while he’s waiting for you to pick up. Opens with a casual little, “hey, honey,” you wouldn’t know he’s practically going to town on his cock, hot to go. ✦ with how sweet he could be to you, he could be so, so fucking mean too. ✦ “My, my. That was such a pretty sound you just made. Wanna do that again for me? Wanna hear my pretty little cockslut begging for me while I fuck my fist. Yeaaah, just like that. Louder.” ✦ the type to send in voicemails at random times of the day. You know they’re exclusively for you since he’s practically chanting out your name while he fucks himself. You’ve made the mistake (plenty of times) of listening to some of them in public. Thank god your phone wasn’t on full volume but people definitely heard your boyfriend fucking his fist. ✦ you put him in his place when you get home by tying him down to the bed and edging him to hell and back and back again and back again and back again and—
𝐓𝐎𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄.
✦ THIS MANNN…. He knows how to use his voice. He KNOWS HOW TO USE HIS VOICE SOMEONE HOLD ME THE FUCK BACK— ✦ he really doesn't like texting. So you both often call each other at the end of the day when you're apart. You're often apart too, with work and with it taking you to different cities. He's home alone at your apartment with your pets, with your clothes beside him on the couch. See where this is going? :-)) ✦ "Miss ya. Fuck, I really miss ya. Even the cats miss yer constant yappin'-" he teases and he's palming his cock through his gray sweatpants when he hears you shoot a clever quip at him. "Mhh-doll, I really do fuckin' miss ya. Especially when we wake up in the mornin'? Yeah. When ya press yer ass up against me, miss how ya know how to touch me just right-" "Jo, are you touching yourself right now?" he has the gall to chuckle. "Wanna see?" He was so ready to switch to facetime, to show you how he's lazily dragging his fingers up and down his throbbing cock, gray sweatpants pulled down just enough to pull it out. But you wanna stay on the call. You're rushing to your bed, hand in your shorts as soon as you lay down. ✦ likes dirty talking. LOVES when you talk dirty to him back. He's whispering phrases like, "mhm, yeah?", "what do ya want me t'do to ya when you get back?", "what else, angel?" prodding you on, urging you to express your deepest desires to him because he's NEEDY NEEDY NEEDY. (He knows you're as eager as he is too) ✦ wants to cum with you so he edges himself until you say you're almost there. Wants to match your pace and tries to by listening to your breathing, the rhythm of your moans. Never fails to tell you he loves you after he cums. ✦ promises a huge surprise for you when you get back :-)

do you feel it too?

summary: Frankie's been Dreaming every night for weeks. He might be trying to pretend it isn't happening, but he knows what that means.

...
“Fish!”
Frankie was Dreaming, he was pretty sure. No, he knew he was. Dreams were the only place he ever saw her.
“Fish, get up man, come on.”
He knew he was looking into her eyes, even though he couldn’t quite tell what color they were. He always forgot them as soon as he looked at them. He knew he wouldn’t remember any of this once he woke up. He never did.
But he was absolutely certain she was beautiful. He’d always known that, since they first started Dreaming together, years ago.
He knew she was saying something, but he couldn’t hear her. She always tried to talk in the Dreams, always tried to communicate. It never worked (or maybe it did, and he just never remembered – maybe he forgot what she said the moment he heard it). He looked and saw her lips were moving, but it was another, more familiar voice that he heard instead.
“Fish, you asshole, we’re going to be late.”
Frankie felt the dream start to disintegrate around him and let out a noise in protest. He reached out to try to grab her arm, but there was nothing to grab. She slipped away like always as soon as he tried to touch her.
Sometimes he thought he remembered a freckle or the color of her eyes or maybe the slant of her eyebrow, but he was just fooling himself. The only thing he could ever remember was the shape of her smile.
He opened his eyes to find Pope staring down at him, shaking his arm.
“Fish, come on cabrón, we don’t have time for this.” Pope looked extremely annoyed, but Frankie just covered his face with his hands and groaned.
“Just leave me here,” he said, low and muffled by his palms.
Pope started pulling at his arms. “No fucking way, man, you promised. We promised. And I promised I’d make sure you show up. Get the fuck up and in the shower, asshole.”
Frankie groaned again and threw his arms out like a starfish on the bed. “I’m so fucking tired, man.”
Pope paused and looked down at him, eyebrows furrowed. He sighed and shook his head. “More Dreams?”
Frankie closed his eyes and tried not to make any kind of face at all. “I feel like I close my eyes and that’s all I get – the Dreams. It doesn’t matter how tired I am or how long I’m asleep.”
Pope put his hands on his hips and just looked down at him for a moment. Frankie looked back at his best friend and hoped Pope couldn’t read everything going on in his head.
“You know what that means, Fish.” Pope’s tone was flat, no nonsense, like he didn’t want to leave any room for argument.
Frankie barely let him finish before protesting. “No.”
“Fish–”
“No, man. You know how I feel.”
Pope sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. “I do. And you know how I feel about that.”
Frankie just closed his eyes and shook his head. “Look, man, I’ll get up and get ready. But I don’t want to talk about it.”
Pope eyed him for a minute and looked like he might want to argue. But then he seemed to deflate and just put his hands up in front of him, palms out. “Ok ok, ya entendí.” He sighed again and turned away from the bed. “Get up, Fish, we have places to be.”
Frankie laid there for another minute, staring up at his ceiling. He’d told the guys he didn’t want to talk about it anymore, but that didn’t mean he’d been able to stop thinking about it.
He used to have a Dream every other month, sometimes less. For the last 3 weeks he’d been Dreaming every night. Every single fucking night.
He knew what that meant. They all did. It was textbook – you had the Dreams if your soulmate was still out there, and they only got more frequent when you were about to meet them.
The only problem was, he didn’t want to meet her. Not anymore.
Twenty minutes later Frankie threw himself into the passenger seat of Pope’s truck and tugged his hat down low over his still-wet hair. “Let’s go then,” he grumbled.
Pope rolled his eyes as started the car. “You better not walk into that party with that look on your face. It’s for Benny, man, come on.”
Frankie groaned and tucked his head against the window. “I know, ok? Shit. I know.”
Pope drove in silence and Frankie did his best to pull himself together. He felt like he’d barely slept, even though he was pretty sure he’d been asleep for most of the day. Like most of his days, lately. Just when he was starting to really stew in his own self-loathing, Pope spoke again.
“Fish. I know you don’t want to hear it. But I’m going to say it one more time, and then we can talk about something else and try to have fun at this party, for Benny’s sake. Deal?”
Frankie gritted his teeth and crossed his arms, but nodded.
Pope’s tone was gentle, and it made Frankie want to jump out of the car. “She’s still out there, man. And I know you think she won’t want you, but that's not how this works. Ok? All I want is for you to think about that. Just–” he stopped and for a minute Frankie thought maybe that was it, he was done and Frankie was off the hook. But Pope continued, “just try to think about the other side of it, ok? The side where you’re wrong, and she does want you. Just let yourself consider it. That’s all I ask.”
Frankie thought about arguing, and then he thought about saying nothing. After a moment he just said, “I’ll try.” Because if Pope asked, he would. He didn’t think it would help, but they’d been friends (brothers) for too long and they knew each other too well. He knew Pope would bother him about this until he agreed, anyway.
And some small, hidden part of him still hoped Pope was right.
They’d promised to get there early and help set up, and despite Pope almost tossing him out of bed, they were still on time.
Frankie spent the next couple of hours setting up tables and chairs and hanging string lights and generally doing whatever Will told him to do. He pretended not to notice Pope and Will and Benny having quiet conversations at the other end of the yard, conversations that were almost certainly about him and his Dreams.
He also spent that time trying to think about anything other than what Pope had asked him to think about in the car.
Soon enough, the yard started to fill with familiar and unfamiliar faces. Yovanna arrived with Claire, Will’s soulmate, and told them Benny’s fiance (and soulmate) would be arriving soon.
Frankie found himself floating along the edge of the party, hiding in the shadows from the string lights, sometimes with his friends and sometimes alone. He was starting to wonder if he could get away with leaving when Claire appeared beside him, arm-in-arm with someone he didn’t know.
“Frankie! Have you met my friend Sunny? The one I told you about, we were roommates in college.”
Frankie turned to greet them and was struck with a sudden sense of overwhelming deja vu. He shook it off and met her eyes. “Hi, I’m Frankie,” he said, nodding to Claire’s roommate. “Sunny?”
She smiled, and Frankie blinked, a bit taken aback. Shit, he thought, she’s so pretty.
“Not my real name. It’s a college nickname I’ve never been able to escape.” She grinned at him, and he took a deep breath. “I’ve heard a lot about you,” she said and elbowed Claire. “All of you, really. Will’s got a lot of stories.”
Frankie grimaced, but tried to turn it into a smile. “From Will? Shit. Don’t believe a word he says.”
Claire laughed and Sunny smiled, and Frankie took a long sip of his beer. It was warm, likely had been for a while, and he tried not to grimace again.
“Hey, Frankie, can I leave her with you? I need to help Will with something inside.” Clarie was already starting to move away towards the house as she spoke, and Sunny rolled her eyes.
“What am I, your dog? Go inside, I can fend for myself.”
Claire laughed again and waved as she headed inside.
Frankie turned back to Sunny and found that she was already looking at him. He tried not to stare but he couldn’t help but notice again how pretty she was. He was admiring the color of her eyes when she spoke.
“So,” she said, leaning towards him. “I hope you don’t mind me being extremely direct, but you don’t look very happy to be here.”
For a moment Frankie had the uncanny sensation of teetering on the edge of some sort of revelation, but unable to tip over in either direction and figure out what it was. He was stuck, balancing, wavering back and forth. It was disorienting. He shrugged. “Yeah, sorry, I don’t know if I’m good company. Haven’t been sleeping well.”
She looked at him thoughtfully, and Frankie squirmed a bit under her discerning gaze. “Me neither, actually. Stress, I guess. I just moved here and I’m still getting used to everything.”
He nodded, not sure what to say. His eyes trailed over her neck and shoulders and he tried not to notice how nice she looked in her top.
She took pity on him and changed the subject. “So, Frankie? Is that a nickname?”
“It is. Francisco,” he offered, relaxing his shoulders purposefully. He could at least try to be friendly.
Sunny’s eyes lit up. “Oh, I love that. Do you ever go by Francisco?”
Frankie actually felt himself start to smile. She was so animated; her open curiosity was starting to put him at ease. “Sometimes,” he said, looking down and then back up to meet her eyes. She was still smiling at him. “More in Spanish.”
“Francisco,” she murmured again, and he felt a shiver move down his spine. “Do you have a preference?”
He shrugged again. “Not really. Most of them,” he gestured around the yard, ”call me Frankie or Fish. Catfish. My call sign.”
She smiled again and nodded. “I’m not going to ask, not now anyway, but I just want to register my interest in hearing that story some time. Will refused to tell me.”
Frankie laughed, and then he blinked in surprise. When was the last time he’d laughed? He wasn’t sure.
“Can I call you Francisco, then? I like it.” She bit her lip after she asked, and Frankie realized he was taking too long to answer because he was staring. Again.
“Oh, um, sure,” he said, and then tried not to wince at himself. “Of course. It sounds nice when you say it.” He grimaced as soon as the words left his mouth – what the fuck, man, don’t be weird – and glanced down, afraid to see how that awkward comment landed. He noticed they were both holding empty drinks.
“Can I get you a refill?” he asked, reaching out for her cup. He didn’t quite look up to meet her eyes again. She nodded and reached out to hand it to him.
As she did, the tips of their fingers brushed lightly against each other.
Frankie gasped, and he was pretty sure he heard her gasp, too, but he couldn’t look away from her hand. As soon as his fingertips brushed hers he was overwhelmed with the sensation of something like lightning crackling down his spine. He froze, fingers still touching hers, arm outstretched. His mouth dropped open as the aftershocks sent tremors through his body.
Finally, he tore his gaze upwards to look at Sunny again, and found her outright grinning. At him. She looked absolutely delighted. He didn’t know what to do or what to say or what face to make.
Sunny broke the silence to ask, “did you feel it, too?”
Rather than answer, he turned around and ran.
For a moment you stood, frozen, hand still outstretched holding your empty cup. Your smile had frozen on your face and you felt it start to become a grimace. You don’t know how long you would have stood there, nothing but white noise in your head, if Claire hadn’t reappeared at your side.
“Hey, you ok? Where’s Frankie?”
You shook yourself and blinked, dropping your hand down to your side. You turned to look at her and she must have seen something in your expression because her brow furrowed and she grabbed your elbow. “Come on, over here.”
Claire marched you around the side of the house to the path that led to the gate in the fence. There was no one else back there, and you felt your shoulders drop as soon as you were hidden from view.
“Ok, what happened,” she said, flat, barely a question.
You sighed, staring down at the ground. “You were right? He is totally my type. Tall, with the hair and the shoulders and, ugh.”
Out of the corner of your eye you saw Claire cross her arms and lean against the wall next to you. “Ugh what? Did he say something? I mean, I wouldn’t have expected it, but he is a guy.”
You laughed, helplessly, and shook your head, glancing up at your friend. “He didn’t say anything weird. But um, just now. I don’t think I imagined it– no, I didn’t imagine it. It happened, I guess, but–”
Claire’s eyebrows flew upwards. “Wait–”
You kept talking, looking back down at the ground, steamrolling over whatever she wanted to say. “Our hands, well our fingers, touched, and I think… I’m pretty sure. I felt it.”
Claire made a strangled noise and you looked up at her to find her mouth dropped open in shock. “It? You mean–” she cut herself off, speechless.
You nodded. “Yeah, I mean, you can tell me if I’m wrong, but it was like a lightning strike all through my body. My spine tingled. I thought I was shaking, or maybe the ground was. It was…” you trailed off, searching for the right words. “I’ve never felt anything like it.”
Claire started to smile and you wanted to smile back, but you couldn’t. “Yes!” she said, grinning, “that’s exactly what it was like when I shook Will’s hand.” She seemed to notice you weren’t smiling, though, and hers started to fade. “Wait, but Frankie– where did he go?”
“He, um,” you started, gathering yourself. “He looked at me, and I know I was smiling, but he looked–” you cut yourself off, closing your eyes against the memory. “He looked terrified, Claire. Like he’d seen a ghost. I asked him if he felt it, too, and then,” you swallowed, trying not to let the emotions you’d been ignoring since it happened claw their way up your throat. “And then he ran.”
You opened your eyes after a moment of silence with no response from Claire. You saw that she was moving through a variety of emotions, jaw working as she considered what to say.
“Ok,” she said. “Ok. I think–” She shook her head, sighing in exasperation. “I think I know what’s going on. Can you wait here for one second? I need to grab someone.” You nodded, confused. “Don’t go anywhere, seriously. I’ll be right back.”
Before you could even open your mouth she was gone, back around the corner of the house into the backyard. You blinked, uncertain. You leaned harder into the wall of the house and pressed your palms into your eyes, trying not to think of anything but your breathing. Trying not to think about how long you’d waited for this, about how Claire knew you’d been starting to lose hope, though you’d hoped you might find him in your new city. About how you wanted, so badly, to know him.
Only a few minutes (of you resolutely not thinking about anything) had passed when you heard Claire coming back, talking to someone in a low voice.
“You have to tell her, Santi, you know–”
You opened your eyes again and found Claire approaching you with one of Will’s friends, one you’d just met about 45 minutes ago. Santiago, or Santi. Or Pope, he’d said. He looked worried.
“Wait, Claire, what happened? You said–” he stopped short when he saw you waiting. He looked around for a second as if he expected someone else to be nearby. “You said Frankie–”
Claire shook her head, and gestured towards you. “Tell him what you told me.” Her tone was direct, no nonsense, but you bristled.
“What? Claire–”
Your friend took a breath and her expression softened. “Hey,” she said, “trust me, ok? He’s Frankie’s best friend. Just tell him what happened.”
You turned to Santiago and saw that he looked way more confused than you felt. You sighed. “Ok, well, I guess it couldn’t hurt.” You bit your lip and crossed your arms in front of you, feeling suddenly defensive. You hadn’t expected Claire to make you repeat it to someone you barely knew. “Frankie, he– we were just talking. And he offered to get me a drink, so he went to take my cup, and our hands–”
As soon as you said the word “hands” Santiago’s eyebrows flew upwards. “Sunny–”
You ignored him, unable to stop now that you’d started. “Our hands touched. Just barely, but enough. I felt it. You know. And, well, I thought he did too, but I looked up and he looked–” you closed your eyes again. You didn’t want to remember his face again, but it was all you could see in your mind. “He looked–”
“Terrified.” Santiago finished your sentence for you and your eyes flew open. He looked worried and annoyed and resigned, all at once. “Am I right? He looked scared.”
You nodded, mouth dropping open. “How–”
Santiago sighed and shook his head. “Goddammit, Fish,” he muttered. “Look, I wouldn’t say this to anyone but you. You know that, right?”
You nodded, again, not sure where he was going with this, but knowing, somehow, that he meant it.
Santiago grimaced. “Ok. Well, I’ll try not to say too much. But Fish, that goddamned idiot, convinced himself you would never want him. That he was better off not meeting you, because you’d turn him away. I tried to tell him but he won’t listen, he–” Santiago sighed and wiped a hand over his face. “Look, I know you just met, but I swear–”
“Why would he think that?” you asked, confused. You couldn’t imagine that there would be something about him that would make you want to leave before you even got to know him. These were his friends, right? They cared about him. You trusted Will, and obviously you trusted Claire. And you were pretty sure these guys knew everything about each other, from the stories you’d heard. (And you kept remembering the way Frankie’s eyes had looked when he smiled at you, before he’d run. So warm.)
“He, well, we all did something, and–”
Claire interrupted Santiago before he could say anything else. “She already knows about it, Santi.”
He whirled, mouth dropping open to stare at Claire. “What?” He sounded scandalized. “How?”
Claire shrugged, and glanced at you. “She was with me, that night, when Will agreed to go with you. Couldn't really hide it.”
Santiago looked completely shocked. “Um,” he said, mouth opening and closing again. “Well, shit. That’ll probably help, then, if you already know about that whole disaster.”
You nodded. You did already know about Colombia. Maybe not all of the details, but the general gist of things. Enough.
For a moment none of you said anything. You assumed they were just taking in the revelations of the last twenty minutes, like you. Your head was starting to spin.
Santiago cleared his throat. “Ok, well, can I assume you do want to talk to him? And you don’t want to leave?”
You nodded. If nothing else, you were sure of that – you wanted to talk to Frankie. Francisco. He was your soulmate. Your breath hitched – that was the first time you’d even thought the word in the privacy of your own mind. Shit. You stood up a little straighter, suddenly resolute – you knew what you wanted to do.
“Do you know where he is?” you asked, meeting Santiago’s gaze.
He nodded. “I saw him go upstairs, he’s probably hiding in the guest bathroom or something. And I drove him here, he can’t get away so easy.”
You squared your shoulders and nodded sharply, just once. “Ok. I’m going to find him.”
Santiago started to smile again, and Claire made a little squeaking noise as she covered her mouth with her hands. She looked excited. “Good luck. I’ll keep an eye on the door, ok?” Santi gestured towards the front of the house.
You nodded again and took a deep breath. “Thanks,” you said, turning to go and find your soulmate.
When you reached the upstairs landing, you faltered, suddenly unsure of yourself. Will and Claire hadn’t lived there long and you hadn’t even gotten a tour yet. There were 5 closed doors in the hallway, and you weren’t sure what to do next. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath.
He was your soulmate.
You opened your eyes again, brow furrowed, mouth serious. You were going to find him and you were going to talk.
You knocked lightly on the first door and opened it to find a guest bedroom. No Frankie in sight. The second door was a closet, and the third seemed to be Will and Claire’s bedroom. That left two.
Just then, you heard a noise from the room behind the second-to-last door. You moved towards it, silently. As you got closer you heard the low noise of a familiar voice, muttering, maybe talking to himself.
You’d found him.
Before you could second guess yourself, you knocked. “Frankie– Francisco. I know you’re in there.” You tried to sound confident but you thought your voice probably gave away all of your insecurities anyway.
There was no response, but you swore you could feel how he suddenly tensed on the other side of the door. You knocked again. “Francisco? Can we–”
The door suddenly opened under your knuckles, and your last knock caused it to swing inwards. You froze, hand in the air, and looked down to find Frankie sitting on the floor. He had his knees up with this head resting on one hand, the other still raised from where he’d just opened the door.
You met his eyes and saw that he looked… well. The first word that came to mind was distraught. You opened your mouth to say something, maybe ask what was wrong, say anything that might help, but he spoke before you could.
“Shit,” he said, and his voice sounded rough and gravelly. “Shit, Sunny, I’m so sorry, I can’t believe I just left you there, I–”
“Hey,” you cut him off, moving quickly to kneel next to him. “Hey, no, are you ok?” You reached out to touch him but faltered, unsure if you would be welcome. He hid his face in his hands again and you sat back on your heels.
“... no,” he murmured after a moment. “I don’t think I’m ok.”
You moved again, shifting enough that you could close the door behind you before sitting back against it. “Hey, you know you can tell me.” You tried to sound encouraging.
After a moment he sighed, and looked up at you again. You met his eyes and were struck, suddenly, with the knowledge that you knew those eyes. You couldn’t believe you hadn’t recognized them immediately, the moment you’d met him outside. You smiled at him. “Hey there, brown eyes,” you said, and he blinked. “I think I had a lot of dreams about you, recently.”
“Brown eyes?” He looked surprised.
You felt your face start to heat and you ducked your head. “That’s what I’ve always called you. In my head, anyway. It was always the only thing I could remember, when I woke up. That you had brown eyes. Not what they looked like. Just that they were brown.”
You glanced back up at him through your eyelashes and saw that he looked stunned.
After a moment, he said, “I remembered your smile.”
You felt it start to stretch across your face in response. “Yeah?” you asked, wondering if he remembered more than you did.
He nodded, starting to smile himself. It looked hesitant, and it was small, but it was still a smile. “Yeah, just– just the shape, the corner.” He glanced down at your mouth. “Just like that,” he whispered, eyes wide.
For a moment the two of you just looked at each other. You wondered if you were both looking for other familiarities, things you might remember, even though it was unlikely.
You felt the question crowding your throat, and couldn’t help but let it out. “Why did you run?” Your voice sounded small to your own ears and you watched the grimace form on his face in response. You turned towards him a bit more and your leg came to rest against his. Neither of you moved away from the contact.
He stared at the place your leg touched his as he answered. “I thought…” he trailed off and visibly gathered himself. “I thought you wouldn’t want me. There’s been– there are things, things I’ve done and I didn’t–”
You couldn’t help but interrupt. You didn’t like the look on his face, didn’t like the way he was talking about himself. “Francisco,” you said, voice a bit too loud. You cleared your throat and tried again, quieter. “I know about Colombia.” His head shot up, eyes wide. He looked afraid and you didn’t like that one bit. “I’m not saying I know everything, but I do know the basics. I know you were there.” Frankie’s mouth dropped open; he was obviously shocked. You wanted to reassure him, but you weren’t sure what to do, other than to just say it. “I’m not turning you down because of that, ok? I’m not turning you down at all. I–”
Frankie seemed to find his voice, suddenly, and interrupted you. “What? You– how?”
You nodded. “Yeah. I was with Claire, when Will went. She couldn’t really hide it.”
“Fuck,” he breathed, eyes dancing over your face. He seemed to be looking for something, but you didn’t know what. “Fuck,” he repeated.
“Yeah, “ you repeated. “I mean, like I said, I know I don’t know all the details. But I’m not– I want to get to know you.” You nudged his leg with yours. “I mean, if you–”
Frankie laughed, suddenly, and you stopped short. He seemed giddy, like a weight had just lifted off his shoulders. He sat up a bit taller, and your eyes trailed over the line of his neck. “I thought–” he laughed again, incredulous, and shook his head. “I was so afraid. Of finding you and losing you because of– because of what we–” he trailed off again.
You couldn’t stand just sitting there anymore. You reached out a hand and lightly touched the back of his where it rested on his leg. He immediately flipped it over and clasped your hands together tightly. Your breath caught, but you couldn’t look away from his face.
“That’s not–” he squeezed your hand. “That’s not everything. But damn, I can’t believe it.” He closed his eyes and seemed at a loss for what to say next, even though he looked so much more at ease than he had only moments ago. You knew it was too soon for either of you to start in on your entire life stories. You had time. Or at least you hoped you had time.
“Hey, Francisco,” you said, and smiled at him. He opened his eyes and smiled back, a bit bigger this time. You liked the look of it. “I know we don’t know each other. Not yet. But, well. I think we might be made for each other.” You heard and felt a tightness in your throat as you said it, and you watched some strong emotion take over Frankie’s expression, too. He relaxed his grip on your hand only to lace your fingers together instead. He nodded, and you continued, “so I think we might be able to figure this out. Together. What, um,” you leaned in a little bit. “What do you think?”
Frankie grinned, suddenly, and it dazzled you. Your eyes caught on the crinkles by his eyes and the way he lifted his chin.
“I’d love to figure this out with you, hermosa,” he murmured. He pulled your hand upwards and pressed a soft kiss to your knuckles. “I’m sorry I ran away. I promise I’ll never run from you again.”
You shivered at the kiss, but your brow furrowed at the promise. “Frankie–”
He shook his head, looking resolute. “No, you deserve better than that. I promise, I’ll figure it out with you instead of running. Ok? We’ll do it together.”
You nodded, closing your eyes as you felt emotions swell in your chest again. He was so sweet, underneath the fear and the worry. Together sounded pretty good.
“Hey, Sunny,” he murmured, and you opened your eyes to meet his. His gaze was soft, again, like it had been when you’d barely started flirting outside. You thought he might still be afraid, but something had shifted. “Have I told you already that you’re fucking beautiful?”
Your cheeks heated and you tried to duck your head again, but you were stopped when he raised his free hand to cup your cheek gently. He lifted your gaze to meet his again. “Hey, no. I mean it. When I saw you outside, shit, Sunny, you’re so fucking pretty. That’s the first thing I thought.” Your cheek tingled under his touch and you wondered if you were imagining it or if it was part of the whole soulmate thing. Soulmates, you mused, and turned your head to press a kiss to his palm.
He sucked in a sharp breath, and you smiled.
“I told Claire you were exactly my type,” you said, and he started to look shy, eyes darting away. “With your hair, and those shoulders, and your smile–” you trailed off when he started to blush, and you smiled again, leaning into his hand. He was so handsome. “Hey, Francisco,” you said, and he met your eyes again. “Can I kiss you?”
His eyebrows flew upwards and his eyes darted to your lips. You bit your lip.
“Hermosa, you can kiss me anytime you like,” he murmured, and when his gaze met yours again your breath caught at the heat behind his eyes.
“Yeah?” you breathed, and he grinned.
“Yeah, Sunny. C’mere,” he pulled you towards him and you found yourself perched on his lap. After only a moment’s hesitation you slid your hands around his neck loosely. He placed his hands on your hips and squeezed gently. “S’this ok?” He sounded shy again, even though his grip was anything but.
“More than,” you replied, and then you pressed your lips to his.
You were swept away, instantly. You fell into the sensation of his lips against yours, of his body under you, of his hands sliding around your waist to pull you in tighter. You realized your hands were wound through his hair, though you didn’t remember moving them.
All you knew was the gentle movement of his mouth against yours. The brush of his lips and the tease of his tongue sent shivers up and down your spine.
There was a warmth building inside of you that you’d never felt before, never even dreamed of. You broke away with a gasp, overwhelmed, and blinked your eyes open to find his waiting for you. He looked as stunned as you felt.
“Fuck,” you murmured. He nodded. “That was–”
“Better than I ever could have imagined,” he said, and you nodded. That was exactly right. “I can’t believe you’re here,” he murmured. He ran his hands lightly up and down your back and you shivered again. He smiled. “Sunny,” he said, and pressed a soft kiss to the corner of your mouth. “Let me take you out.”
You grinned and nodded. “You’d better.”
Frankie laughed, looking so much more carefree than he had when you’d found him in the bathroom. It tugged at your heart.
“You can take me out,” you said, “but right now I want you to kiss me some more.” You leaned in and kissed the corner of his mouth, right where it quirked up into a smile.
“Sunny, hermosa, mi sol, mi luz,” he said, pressing kisses along your jaw between each endearment. “I never want to stop kissing you.” You giggled, and he grinned. “What’s so funny, hermosa?”
You shook your head, still smiling widely. “I can’t wait to get to know you, Francisco.”
His smile softened, but stayed just as big. He tugged you closer and wrapped you up in his arms. “Me neither, baby.” He kissed you again, and you sank happily into his embrace.
...
a/n: I'd love to hear what you think! Also, quick translation: mi sol = my sun, mi luz = my light.

I told my mom I'm aroace but she unknowingly pulled an uno reverse card on me ( - v -)
Tumblr media
Since it's still pride month, I thought I should share the moment I came out to my mom
I came out and told my mom I'm aroace, two year ago and thought I should talk about it's cuz it's kinda funny to me.
(Side note: my mom is a down to earth kinda person and sometimes can be a clueless or an airhead but she does have a resting bitch face and has a harshly type of voice)
So I told my mom I'm aroace when we were just walking in the balcony at night after we had dinner. It was summer so the cool breeze at night help us cool down. And then, we just started talking about stuff.
It was pretty random and somehow we (mostly I started) to talk about the LGBTQ+ community.(I've told my mom about the LGBT community before too when I was in 8th grade too,to see if she's homophobic of not which not to my surprise she was not?(She even told me if I liked a girl she's ok with it as long as I'm happy but I didn't tell her I'm aroace that time)
So then I just straight up told her I'm aroace. She obviously didn't know what aroace was. So I told her that aroace was the lack of feeling or not feeling romantic and sexual attraction and there is a spectrum to it.And that I don't feel romantic and sexual attraction towards other people. She kinda understood this but I tried to explain further.
(The conversation went like this)
Me: ok mom, so like you know how in when people talk about their feelings for their crushes? Ya I don't so that.
Mom:... people actually have crushes.
Me who is speechless :um ya mom people have crushes.
Mom: wanna know something funny? I didn't know people actually had crushes untill I went to Russia to get my degree.
Me: so, you mean to tell me your friends didn't talk about crushes?
Mom: they did tell me they like some celebrity, always thought they liked the celebrity cuz he/she was nice to look at.
Me: you mean like the celebrity was eye candy?
Mom: ya, like they are eye candy.
Me: so you mean to tell me that you never had the want to be in a relationship?
Mom: nope not at all.
Me: wait wait wait I need to make sure. So you mean to tell me that you've always thought that crushes or those lovely dovey thing bf gf do was like a joke or they they were acting like they were in a movie?
Mom: ya, doesn't everyone think that?
Me: mom... you're aroace like me.
Mom: oh ok...
Me:MOM WHAT KIND OF REACTION IS THAT!?
And like that is how my mom knew she was aroace.
Funny thing about all this is that I got the vibes that my mom was aroace for the longest time and my guess was correct lol.
So this was a win-win situation for me and my mom, I told her I was aroace and she now knew she was aroace.
Funny interaction between mother and daughter if you think about it loI.
I still laugh about it when I think about it.

Jongho made his way back to the dorm, the small purple box Nari had entrusted him with gripped firmly in his hand. The quiet of the dorm seemed to amplify his growing anxiety. He knew he had to talk to the boys about Nari, but his day had already been filled with so many emotions. He felt a headache coming on, his head heavy with the weight of it all. Maybe it’s better if he waits a bit before talking to them. He took off his shoes and jacket and approached the kitchen.
Once in the kitchen, he decided to make a cup of tea, hoping the warm drink would help with his headache and calm his swirling thoughts. He picked up the small purple box that Nari had given him, his fingers tracing the edges gently. A small smile began to play on his lips as he held the box, the weight of it in his hands bringing back the memory of the little girl who had given it to him. He was reminiscing about the way he held Nari in his arms, her little head on his shoulder and big eyes carefully watching him. He already loved holding her, feeling her small body against his. It was the first time he held his daughter in his arms, and he wished he could do it more often from now on. He didn't want to leave, but he knew better than to put his selfish desires first. It was strange, this sudden realization of himself as a father. The idea was still so new, so foreign to him. He'd spent his whole life thinking of himself as an individual, but now he was a part of something bigger, something more important than himself. He was a father. And, despite the fear and uncertainty that came with that thought, he also felt a sense of pride and responsibility. He was a father, and he was going to do everything in his power to be a good one.
However, the happiness was fading due to one name constantly reappearing in his mind—Hyunwoo. Jongho's lingering thoughts about Hyunwoo began to tarnish his newfound joy, creating an undercurrent of unease that he couldn't shake off. Try as he might to focus on the positive, the thought of Hyunwoo continued to gnaw at him, threatening to overshadow the happiness he had found in Nari.
The sound of the kettle whistling brought him back to the present, and he quickly turned off the stove. He poured the steaming water into his cup; the scent of the tea leaves slowly diffusing into the air. As he sipped his tea, he found his mind drifting back to the day's events. Despite the uncertainty and the lingering questions, he couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. He was determined to face whatever challenges lay ahead, for the sake of his relationship with Nari and, possibly, with you.
Jongho picked up his cup in one hand and the small purple box of cookies in the other and began walking towards his room. Just as he was about to open the door, he heard his name being called out.
"Jongho, you're back?" A familiar voice echoed through the dorm. It was Hongjoong, his voice carrying from the confines of his room. The older boy's voice was soft, laced with a hint of concern.
"Yeah, it's me," Jongho answered as he followed to Hongjoong's room. When he entered the room, he found Hongjoong sitting at his desk, as usual, engrossed in his work. The room was dimly lit, with only a small reading lamp casting long shadows on the walls. Jongho paused at the doorway, watching Hongjoong for a moment. His gaze softened at the sight of the older boy, his usually vibrant eyes now filled with a quiet seriousness,
"Is everything okay?" Hongjoong asked, lifting his gaze from the laptop to meet Jongho's.
Jongho nodded, slowly, "Yeah, just a lot on my mind." He knew he couldn't avoid the conversation any longer.
"Does it have anything to do with Y/N?" Hongjoong asked as he closed his laptop and put his headphones back on the desk.
Jongho hesitated for a moment before answering. "Yes," he finally admitted, his gaze dropping to the cup of tea in his hands. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for the conversation he knew he had to have. Hongjoong's expression turned serious, and he nodded for Jongho to continue. He knew that when Jongho was ready to talk, he would.
Just as Jongho was about to speak, his gaze fell on the small, purple box he had almost forgotten about. "This," he held up the box, "is from Nari." His voice was soft, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "She wanted me to give it to Wooyoung. It's cookies she made."
Hongjoong's eyes widened in surprise, "That's really sweet of her," he said, a fond smile on his face. "Wooyoung will definitely appreciate this."
Jongho nodded in agreement, "Yes, he will" he replied, a hint of sadness in his voice. It was clear that he was still lost in his thoughts, the earlier conversation with you clearly weighing on his mind.
"I know you held a company meeting today," Hongjoong started, he leaned over to pat a chair next to him, a clear invitation for Jongho to sit down. His eyes held a glimmer of understanding, as if he knew that Jongho had a lot on his mind and was ready to lend a listening ear. Jongho took the invitation and sat down, setting the cookie box aside. Hongjoong reached out to place a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Wanna talk about it?" he asked gently, his eyes filled with concern.
Jongho stared at him for a moment, then let out a sigh. "Yes," Jongho confessed, finally releasing the words he had held back. "I need to talk about it. I need to talk about Y/N, about Nari... and about a man named Hyunwoo." His voice was heavy with a mixture of confusion, longing, and a trace of fear.
Hongjoong's eyebrows furrowed at this. "Hyunwoo?" he echoed, a hint of surprise in his voice. "Who is he?"
Jongho sighed, his gaze dropping to his hands. "I don't know," he admitted, his voice barely a whisper. "But he's close to Y/N. I saw a text message from him on her phone. He referred to her as 'love'." His voice faltered slightly at the end, the words leaving a bitter taste in his mouth.
Hongjoong was silent for a moment, processing the information. The atmosphere in the room was heavy, "Have you talked to Y/N about this?"
Jongho shook his head. "I didn't get the chance. And even if I did... I wouldn't know what to say." He looked up, meeting Hongjoong's gaze. "What do I even ask? How do I bring this up without sounding like I invaded her privacy?"
Hongjoong thought for a moment. "Firstly," he began, "you didn't invade her privacy. You found her phone and saw the message. It's not like you went snooping through her texts." He paused, giving Jongho a reassuring look. "And as for what to ask... Just be honest. Tell her what you saw and how it made you feel. It's better to talk things out than to let your thoughts spiral."
"I don't think it's a good idea to talk to her about how I feel," Jongho said, his hands tapping nervously on the table. "She's reminding me all the time that we are doing this for Nari, yet I can't help but feel all of these emotions when I am with her."
"What emotions?" Hongjoong asked.
Jongho paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know... I feel... confused, I guess? And I can't help but feel a bit jealous when I think about this Hyunwoo guy. And there's more... I feel a connection with her, it's like something’s drawing me towards her. It's hard to explain."
Hongjoong nodded, understanding in his eyes. "It sounds like you're still in love with her, Jongho."
"How can I be in love with her? It's been five years," Jongho almost whispered, emotion threatening to overwhelm him any moment now.
"Love doesn't just disappear, Jongho," Hongjoong replied, his voice filled with understanding. "It can lie dormant, waiting for the right moment to resurface. And seeing Y/N again, meeting your daughter... those are powerful triggers."
The words hung in the air, heavy and undeniable. Jongho didn't respond immediately, his gaze fixed on the floor. Finally, he looked up at Hongjoong, his expression vulnerable. "Maybe I am. But what does it matter? She has someone else in her life. And even if she didn't, it doesn't mean she feels the same about me."
"Jongho," Hongjoong began, his voice steady and calm. "Feelings are complicated. It's completely normal to feel the way you do. You and Y/N have a history together and now you have a daughter. It's natural to have feelings for her."
"But what if she doesn't feel the same? What if I'm just holding onto something that isn't there anymore?" Jongho asked, his voice heavy with worry.
"Then you'll deal with it," Hongjoong stated simply. "You can't control how she feels, just like she can't control how you feel. All you can do is be honest with her and with yourself." Jongho nodded, taking in Hongjoong's words. His heart was still heavy, and the fear of the unknown still loomed over him, but he felt a bit calmer, a bit more ready to face whatever was to come. "Jongho, you don't have to choose between focusing on Nari or pursuing your feelings towards Y/N," Hongjoong continued. "I am not a father but…" At these words, Jongho chuckled, looking at Hongjoong. The older boy had always been like a father figure in the band, always looking out for the others and guiding them when they needed it. Hongjoong laughed softly, catching on to Jongho's thoughts. "I mean, I'm not a real father," he added, a twinkle of amusement in his eyes. "But I believe that if you want to create a family with Y/N, it can't be done in separate stages," Hongjoong continued, his words filled with understanding. "You can't simply discard your emotions and solely concentrate on being a father. It's not that straightforward. These two aspects are linked and need to grow together. You're not just a father, Jongho, but a man who still loves the mother of his child. And that's okay. It's okay to allow yourself to feel this way, to explore these feelings while also focusing on being a father to Nari. It's okay to be human and not have everything figured out. This journey you're on, it's not just about parenting, but also about healing and growing as a person. And part of that growth involves acknowledging and understanding your feelings for Y/N. So, don't try to separate the two. Let them happen at the same time." Hongjoong's words hung in the air, heavy with truth and understanding. Jongho felt a strange mix of relief and fear. The idea of allowing himself to experience these complex emotions was daunting, yet it also felt right. He understood that he had been trying to separate his feelings, handling one thing at a time to keep control. But life, as he was quickly learning, was rarely that simple.
Jongho nodded, acknowledging the truth in Hongjoong's words. He felt a sense of gratitude towards his friend for offering a perspective he hadn't considered. "You're right, Hongjoong," he admitted, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "I guess I've been trying to simplify things, to make this all more manageable. But I can't ignore my feelings for Y/N. And I won't." He paused, letting the words sink in. "I need to confront this, for Nari, for Y/N, and for myself."
Hongjoong returned the smile, his eyes reflecting a sense of understanding and support. "That's the spirit, Jongho," he encouraged. "Facing our emotions may be scary, but it's the only way to truly understand ourselves and move forward. And remember, you don't have to do this alone. I'm here for you."
Jongho felt a surge of gratitude. He was lucky to have such a supportive friend. He knew the road ahead wouldn't be easy, but with Hongjoong’s support, he felt ready to face whatever came his way.
Feeling lighter than before, Jongho allowed a genuine smile to reach his eyes. In a playful tone, he joked, "I aspire to be as good of a father as you, Hongjoong." This comment earned him a small punch in the arm from his friend, who couldn't help but break into laughter at the compliment.
Their moment of levity was suddenly interrupted by Wooyoung's voice. "Who wants to be a father?" the boy, who had just woken up from his nap, asked. Standing in the doorway with tousled hair, he looked at them with curiosity.
Caught off guard, Jongho and Hongjoong exchanged a glance, both momentarily at a loss for words. "For how long have you been listening?" Jongho asked, his playful demeanor from a minute ago long gone.
"Well, it's just that San woke up and wanted me to grab him a glass of water, and I just left my room," Wooyoung yawned.
Hongjoong gave Wooyoung a quick glance before returning his gaze to Jongho. "We were just talking about...things," he said vaguely, not wanting to delve into the details. Jongho nodded, appreciating Hongjoong's discretion.
"So, San is here?'' Jongho asked, his gaze shifting briefly towards the direction of Wooyoung's room. There was a hint of curiosity in his voice, a subtle shift in the atmosphere as he awaited Wooyoung's response.
"Yeah, he is," Wooyoung answered, rubbing the sleepiness from his eyes. He stifled a yawn before continuing, "He couldn't sleep well last night, so he came over earlier to catch up on some sleep."
Jongho nodded in understanding then turned to Hongjoong, seeking his opinion. "Should we just call the rest of the guys then?" he asked, his eyes searching for reassurance in Hongjoong's gaze.
Hongjoong considered the suggestion for a moment before nodding. "Yes, I think it's time," he agreed, a sense of determination in his voice. "We should all be on the same page about this."
"What are you guys even talking about?" Wooyoung asked, clearly confused, as he leaned into the doorframe. His eyes flicked between Hongjoong and Jongho, searching for answers in their serious expressions. But before Jongho could open his mouth to explain, a loud voice from Wooyoung's bedroom caught them all off guard.
"Ya! Wooyoung, do you want me to die of thirst?" San's voice rang out, filled with exaggerated distress. The three of them turned towards the direction of the voice, a look of amusement passing between them.
"Quit being so dramatic!" Wooyoung shouted back, rolling his eyes but not able to hide the smile tugging at his lips. He then pushed himself off from the doorframe and finally made his way into the kitchen.
"I thought separating those two would earn me some peace," Hongjoong sighed, his gaze following Wooyoung as he made his way into the kitchen, "But what was the point of dividing us into three different dorms when San is always here." He shook his head, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. Despite his grumbles, it was clear that he wouldn't have it any other way. The bond they all shared was unbreakable, and no matter how often they bickered or teased each other, at the end of the day, they were family. "I'll send a message to the rest of the boys," Hongjoong offered, pushing himself up from his chair and stretching his arms above his head. He looked at Jongho, a determined expression on his face. "In the meantime, you should go and grab some food for us. We'll need something to keep us going while we discuss everything." He paused, a smirk playing on his lips. "Ever since Yeosang moved in with Yunho, I swear those two live off air and video games. I bet they haven't had a proper meal in days." He shook his head in mock disapproval, his tone dripping with dramatic exaggeration.
Jongho chuckled at Hongjoong's dramatic performance, acknowledging the truth in his words. "Alright, I'll pick up some food. Any preferences?" he asked, standing up from the chair.
"How about something spicy? The spicier the better," Hongjoong suggested, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I bet that would wake San and Wooyoung up pretty quickly."
Jongho laughed, shaking his head at Hongjoong's antics. "Spicy it is then," he conceded, pulling on his jacket. As he was about to leave, he paused at the door, turning to look at Hongjoong. "Thanks, hyung," he said, his voice filled with genuine gratitude.
Hongjoong simply nodded, a warm smile on his face. "Anytime, Jongho. We're all in this together, remember?"
Jongho smiled at his older friend and nodded, "I'll remember that" he said, his voice filled with gratitude.
"Hey, San! Rise and shine, sleep is for the weak!" Hongjoong shouted with a mischievous grin as he entered Wooyoung's bedroom.
Jongho smiled to himself, pulling on his jacket. His conversation with Hongjoong had left him feeling a little lighter, a little more hopeful. The road ahead was still unclear, filled with unknowns and potential challenges, but he was not alone. He had his friends, his brothers, standing by his side, ready to face whatever came their way together.
Just as Jongho stepped out of the dorm, he fished his phone out of his pocket and dialed your number. As he made his way towards the nearest restaurant, he could feel the nervous energy coursing through him. He still hadn't fully processed everything that had happened, and despite the reassurance he got from Hongjoong, he was still filled with a sense of unease. He wanted to call you to discuss the decision he had made about telling the boys about his newfound fatherhood. He felt he needed your consent to move forward with this, and he was hoping to get your approval. He waited for you to pick up, each ring echoing in his ears, amplifying his anxiety. Just when he was about to end the call, assuming you were busy, he heard the phone being picked up. However, instead of your voice, he was met with a male voice, catching him off guard.
Jongho's heart skipped a beat as the unfamiliar voice echoed in his phone. "Hello, Y/N's phone. Who is this?" the voice asked, a hint of curiosity lacing his tone.
Jongho cleared his throat, trying to keep his voice steady. "This is Jongho," he replied, his mind racing as he tried to figure out who the person on the other end of the line was.
"Oh, Jongho? Y/N's mentioned you," the voice replied, sounding slightly surprised. "This is Hyunwoo."
The mention of the name sent a shock through Jongho. This was the Hyunwoo he'd been worrying about, the one whose name had been haunting him. He struggled to find his voice, the shock leaving him momentarily speechless.
"Is Y/N there?" Jongho finally managed to ask, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Uh, she's in the shower. Can I take a message?" Hyunwoo offered, seemingly oblivious to the tension on Jongho's end.
"No, it's... it's okay. I'll call back later," Jongho replied, quickly hanging up the phone. His mind was a whirlwind, the implications of the call leaving him breathless. He stood there for a moment, trying to collect his thoughts, before continuing his walk to the restaurant.
Jongho tried his hardest to shove the thoughts to the back of his mind, but they kept creeping up, filling his thoughts as he mindlessly entered the restaurant. He ordered the food, his eyes glued to the menu but his mind somewhere else entirely—on Hyunwoo, on you, on Nari. The anxiety was clawing at him, the gnawing feeling in the pit of his stomach growing with each passing minute. He couldn't help but imagine Hyunwoo there with you, spending time with Nari while he was away. These thoughts consumed him as he waited to pick up his order, his heart pounding against his chest in rhythm with the ticking of the clock.
Finally, he left the restaurant, his hands clutching the bags of food tighter than necessary. He was about to enter his building, his mind still swirling with what-ifs and worst-case scenarios, when his phone rang. It was you, calling him back. He felt his heart skip a beat, the sight of your name on his screen both comforting and terrifying. He took a deep breath, bracing himself for the conversation that was about to follow.
Just before he picked up the call, he steeled himself, reminding himself that he needed to focus on the bigger picture. With a deep breath, he answered the call, his voice steady as he greeted, "Hello, Y/N."
"Jongho you called earlier? I just got out of the shower. Is everything okay?" Your voice echoed in his ear, a mixture of concern and surprise.
"Yeah, everything is fine," Jongho quickly reassured you. He paused, trying to figure out how to approach the conversation. "I just... I wanted to talk to you about something." He could hear the hesitation in his own voice, his mind racing with thoughts of what your reaction might be.
"Sure, what's up?" You asked, your voice filled with curiosity. Your calm demeanor helped Jongho to steady himself. He realized he needed to be honest, to talk to you about his feelings and the decisions he had made.
"I... I've decided to talk to the boys about... about Nari," Jongho confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. He held his breath, waiting for your response, the silence on the other end of the line amplifying his anxiety.
After what felt like forever, you finally responded. Your voice, when you spoke, was soft, filled with understanding. "Jongho... I think that's a good idea," you reassured him, your words lifting a weight off his shoulders. "They are your family. They deserve to know."
Jongho let out a sigh of relief, his heart pounding in his chest. "Thank you, Y/N," he whispered, gratitude flooding his voice.  With your consent, he felt ready to face whatever came next. Yet, Jongho was dying to ask about Hyunwoo, to understand who he was in relation to you. Just as he was about to give in to the urge to know, he heard Hyunwoo's voice in the distance, calling your name. His heart skipped a beat, the sound of Hyunwoo's voice serving as a stark reminder of the complexity of the situation.
"Love, are you still on the phone?" Hyunwoo's voice echoed in the background, his tone casual and familiar. The sound of his voice sent a sharp pang of jealousy through Jongho, stirring up a whirlwind of emotions that he struggled to keep at bay.
"Who was that?" Jongho found himself asking, the words escaping his lips before he had a chance to fully process them. He could hear the curiosity lacing his tone, a direct reflection of the whirlwind of thoughts swirling in his mind. However, as soon as the question left his mouth, he immediately regretted it. He could feel a sudden rush of apprehension washing over him, a stark reminder of the delicate line he was treading. This was not a conversation he wanted to have over the phone, and certainly not one he wanted to rush into. Knowing that he had stepped into a territory that he was not ready to traverse, Jongho quickly tried to deflect his previous question. "Actually, never mind. It's not important," he said, his voice filled with a forced casualness. He didn't want to pry into your personal life, at least not yet, not when he himself was still trying to figure out his own feelings.
There was a brief silence on the other end of the line, making Jongho's heart pound in his chest. He could almost feel the wheels turning in your head, deciding how to respond to his sudden withdrawal. "Jongho, it's okay," you finally spoke, your voice gentle, almost soothing. "Hyunwoo is..."
However, before you could finish, Jongho, eager to end the call, interrupted you. "I'm actually about to talk to the guys now." There was a certain finality in his voice, a determination that suggested he had made up his mind and was ready to face whatever came next. "We'll talk more later, Y/N." With that, he ended the call, his heart pounding in his chest. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves.
Upon reaching the dorm, Jongho paused at the entrance to gather his thoughts. He took a moment to look at the bags of food he carried in his hands, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Here goes nothing," he whispered under his breath, drawing in one long, calming breath before he pushed open the door.
Inside, he was greeted by the familiar faces of his friends. Their expressions were a mix of curiosity and concern. His gaze naturally found Hongjoong, who gave him a reassuring nod, a silent message of support that eased some of the anxiety Jongho felt.
Taking a deep breath, Jongho broke the silence. "I brought some food," he said, setting down the bags on the table. His voice was steady, but the members could sense a hidden tension beneath his casual demeanor.
Yunho immediately stood up and walked over to Jongho. "Let me help you," he offered, taking some of the bags from Jongho. With Yunho's help, the food was quickly spread out on the table.
"But before we start eating," Jongho began, setting down the plates and chopsticks. His voice had turned serious, causing the members to pause mid-conversation and look at him. "There's something important I wanted to discuss with you all."
"What's up, Jongho?" Seonghwa asked, his brow furrowing in concern. The atmosphere in the room had noticeably shifted, the air charged with anticipation.
Jongho paused for a moment, taking in another deep, steadying breath. His heart pounded rapidly, echoing loudly in his ears. The reality of what he was about to reveal made him feel as if he was carrying an enormous, burdensome load. He looked around at everyone gathered in the room, their expectant gazes only adding to the pressure he was under. Summoning every ounce of courage he had, he finally spoke up, his voice steady despite the nerves. "I have something important to share with you all," he began, his words hanging heavy in the air. He took another pause, letting the seriousness of his statement sink in. "Something... significant."
The members exchanged curious and worried glances. "What's going on?" Yunho asked, instinctively sitting up straighter, his eyes keenly focused on the youngest. Jongho momentarily hesitated, his lips parting as he searched for the right words to convey his news.
"Are you okay?" Mingi asked, his voice filled with genuine concern. The members had picked up on Jongho’s hesitation, their worry for their friend evident.
Jongho nodded his head affirmatively, his eyes reflecting a sense of calm acceptance. "Yes," he began, his voice steady and reassuring, "I'm perfectly fine." He paused momentarily, gathering his thoughts before continuing. "Recently, I found out that..." His expression softened, a hint of vulnerability seeping through. "I... I have a daughter. A beautiful little girl who has made me see the world in a whole new light. Her name is Nari." The room seemed to swallow itself in a stunned, thick silence, as if the air had been sucked out in one fell swoop. The boys, taken aback, could only stare at Jongho, their gazes boring into him as they grappled with the enormity of the revelation he had just made.
"A daughter?" Wooyoung repeated, his voice barely above a whisper, the word reverberating around the room. His eyes were wide with shock, disbelief etched into every feature of his face. His mind was spinning, trying to comprehend the unexpected news. "Since when?" He finally managed to stammer out, the question hanging heavy in the air.
Jongho nodded again, his eyes meeting each of theirs in turn. "Yes, a daughter. She's going to be four years old soon. I only learned about her, well… yesterday."
Struggling to comprehend the situation, San managed to stammer out, "How... how did this happen?" His facial expression was a perfect illustration of his bewilderment and surprise.
Wooyoung, attempting to alleviate the tension in the room with a quip, scoffed and said, "Did you seriously just ask him about the birds and the bees?" His attempt at humor served as a brief respite in the heavy atmosphere.
Jongho chuckled nervously at Wooyoung's comment, appreciating the attempt to lighten the mood. "It's... complicated," he admitted. "But what's important now is that she's here, and I want to do right by her."
Yeosang, who had been quiet the whole time, finally spoke up. "Jongho, this is huge. How are you handling it?"
Jongho sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's overwhelming, to be honest. But I want to be a part of Nari's life. That's why I needed to tell you all. I need your support and understanding as I navigate this."
The members were quiet for a moment, processing the news. Then, Yunho spoke up, his voice gentle. "We're here for you, Jongho. Whatever you need, we'll support you."
Seonghwa, who had been quietly absorbing the revelation, finally voiced his thoughts. "What about your daughter's mom?" he inquired; his tone full of worry. "Don't tell me you're married!" His terrified expression was somewhat amusing.
Jongho laughed lightly, shaking his head at Seonghwa's worry. "No, no, I'm not married. Her mom is Y/N. We dated a while back, but… let’s just say things didn't work out." He paused, the mention of your name bringing a soft smile to his lips. "But despite everything, we're trying to work together for Nari's sake."
"I can't believe there's a mini version of Jongho walking around this earth," Yeosang exclaimed, his eyes wide with astonishment. The room, previously filled with shock and concern, lit up as the other members burst into laughter.
"Yeah, imagine a tiny Jongho running around, breaking apples left and right," San joked, grinning widely.
Jongho found himself caught up in the infectious laughter, his shoulders dropping as some of the tension he had been carrying seemed to melt away. He said, "She's got my eyes," a clear note of pride resonating in his voice.
Yunho, his expression painted with curiosity, tilted his head slightly, "Does she also have your voice?" he asked.
A warm smile spread across Jongho's face as he spoke. "She's definitely got some musical talent. Y/N told me she loves singing along to our songs."
"Looks like we've got a future idol in the making," Hongjoong remarked, a twinkle of excitement in his eyes.
Seonghwa leaned in, a playful smirk on his face. "So, Jongho, when are we going to teach her the choreography for our next comeback?"
"One step at a time, guys," Jongho chuckled. "First, I need to actually get to know her better."
Mingi nudged him with his elbow. "You know, this means you'll have to take her to one of our dance practices. She must see her dad in action."
"She would love that," Jongho admitted, his heart warming at the thought.
"I honestly thought Seonghwa, with his baby fever, would have a baby first," Wooyoung laughed, resulting in a smack from Seonghwa.
"Ya, Wooyoung!" Seonghwa responded in mock outrage, though the corners of his mouth lifted into an amused smile. "Just because I like kids doesn't mean I'm ready to have one yet."
Hongjoong couldn't resist joining in on the friendly banter. "And who in their right mind would want to have a child with Seonghwa?" he teased, a playful grin spreading across his face.
In response, Seonghwa fixed him with a mock stern look. "Watch it, Hongjoong," he warned with a playful glint in his eyes, "Or I'll make sure you're the first one to babysit."
The room filled with laughter again, the light-hearted teasing helping to diffuse any lingering tension.
"You know," Wooyoung said, still chuckling, "if Seonghwa did have a kid, that kid would be the most spoiled child on the planet."
"Only the best for my imaginary child," Seonghwa retorted with a smirk. The room erupted in laughter again, the playful banter easing the tension even more.
Jongho couldn't help but laugh along with them, feeling a deep sense of gratitude for his friends' support and humor. "Thanks, guys," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "I really appreciate all of you."
"Seriously, though," Mingi said, looking at Jongho with a sincere expression. "We’re all here for you. Anything you need, just let us know."
"Yeah," Yeosang chimed in. "We’re Uncle Ateez now. We'll spoil her rotten."
Jongho’s heart swelled with gratitude. "It means a lot to me. I was nervous about telling you all, but your support means everything."
Hongjoong nodded. "We’re a family. We stick together no matter what."
"Plus, we can teach her all the important things," San added with a mischievous grin. "Like how to prank you."
As the teasing and laughter continued, Jongho felt a profound sense of relief. His brothers' acceptance and support meant the world to him. It gave him the strength and confidence he needed to face the challenges ahead, knowing that he wasn't alone. He had his family by his side, ready to support him as he stepped into his new role as a father.
Wooyoung grinned, trying to lighten the mood. "So, when do we get to meet her? I mean, she's part of the family now, right?"
Jongho cleared his throat, feeling a sudden rush of nerves. "Actually... you've already met her," he confessed, his gaze dropping to the floor.
The announcement was met with a stunned silence as the members stared at him, their eyes wide in disbelief. "What do you mean we've already met her?" Yunho asked, his voice filled with confusion.
Jongho nodded, taking a deep breath before continuing. "Y/N was at our fan meeting with Nari." The memory of the fan meeting caused a wave of realization to wash over the members. They remembered seeing a little girl there.
"That little girl... That was Nari?" Mingi asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Jongho nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Yes, that was Nari."
Wooyoung, who was completely dumbfounded, finally broke the silence. "Wait, so you're telling me the sweetest little girl who jumped right into my arms, that pure angel... is your daughter?" His voice was filled with astonishment as he stared at Jongho, the realization slowly sinking in.
Jongho chuckled lightly at Wooyoung's reaction, appreciating the humor in the situation. "Yes, that's right."
Wooyoung laughed, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he declared, "It's over for you bitches! I'm already her favorite." His confident assertion was met with a burst of mocking laughter from the other members. They playfully booed and wooed him, their friendly banter echoing throughout the room. The energetic atmosphere was infectious, and despite the weight of the revelation he had just shared, Jongho found himself joining in the laughter.
"Well, I made her laugh," San argued, crossing his arms indignantly, "Everyone knows that laughter is the key to a kid's heart. So technically, I should be her favorite."
"Laughter, huh?" Wooyoung retorted with a smirk, "Well, I actually got a hug from her. Physical contact beats laughter any day."
Yunho decided to chime in, "Guys, I think we're all forgetting that I'm the one who gave her a high five. So, I'm pretty sure I'm her favorite."
Jongho couldn't help but laugh at the ongoing friendly competition, feeling a sense of warmth spread through him. "Guys, it's not a competition," he finally managed to say, his voice filled with amusement. "But it's great to see that you're all excited to be a part of Nari's life."
"Of course we are," San responded, his voice sincere. "She's part of our family."
Hongjoong, who had been silently observing the playful chaos, decided to intervene. "Alright, that's enough," he declared, a playful smirk on his face. "Jongho, you need to tell us who her favorite is. A man's pride is at stake now." Wooyoung looked at Jongho expectantly, a triumphant smile already forming on his lips.
Jongho sighed, wishing he didn't have to say this, didn't have to admit that indeed Wooyoung was her favorite. But he needed to end this friendly debate, so in a dramatic tone he stated, "Alright, you got me. Wooyoung... you are indeed Nari's favorite." A collective gasp filled the room followed by Wooyoung's triumphant laughter.
Wooyoung's laughter echoed through the room, his chest puffing out with pride. "I knew it!" he exclaimed, pumping a fist in the air. The other members rolled their eyes at his display, but their smiles betrayed their amusement.
The atmosphere in the room had lightened considerably. What started as a serious and nerve-wracking discussion had somehow turned into a friendly competition. Jongho couldn't help but feel grateful. His brothers, his family, had not only accepted his news but were also excited to be a part of his daughter's life.
San, still grinning at Wooyoung's antics, turned to Jongho. "We're really happy for you, Jongho." His words were sincere, his gaze soft. "And we can't wait to be the best uncles Nari could ask for."
Mingi nodded in agreement, a smile spreading across his face. "We'll be here for you, every step of the way."
Jongho felt a lump form in his throat, his heart swelling with gratitude. He never doubted his friends' loyalty, but hearing their reaffirmations was comforting. It reassured him that he wasn't facing this journey alone.
"Thank you, everyone," Jongho said, his voice choked with emotion. "I'm really lucky to have you all." The warmth in their eyes was all the confirmation he needed. He was surrounded by his family, ready to face the challenges of fatherhood together.
"Do you think we will be able to properly meet her soon?" Seonghwa asked, his gaze filled with anticipation.
Jongho nodded, a hopeful expression on his face. "I've been talking to Y/N about it, and she agrees that it would be good for Nari to get to know all of you. We just need to figure out the right time and place." The members nodded, understanding that this was a big step and one that needed to be handled with care and consideration. They all agreed to be patient and wait for Jongho to make the arrangements, knowing that this was a sensitive matter.
The atmosphere in the room was filled with understanding and support, but Seonghwa finally voiced the question that had been lingering in the back of his mind. His tone was gentle, not wanting to intrude on Jongho's privacy, but curiosity and concern for their friend prevailed. "Jongho," he began, his gaze steady and kind, "I hope you don't mind me asking, but... why didn't things work out between you and Y/N?" Everyone in the room turned their eyes towards Jongho, waiting patiently for his response. It was not a question asked out of idle curiosity, but rather one rooted in genuine concern for their friend's well-being.
Jongho took a moment to collect his thoughts, appreciating the gentle way Seonghwa posed the question. His gaze fell to his hands, fingers lightly drumming on the tabletop as he sought the right words to convey the complicated history that existed between him and you. "I met Y/N before our debut and… well, you can imagine how that was," Jongho began, his voice trailing off as he lowered his gaze to look at his hands. Speaking about it was more difficult than he had anticipated. He had spent countless nights pondering over whether he should've allowed himself to get so close to you, especially right before ATEEZ's debut. He knew he had risked not just his career, but also the harmony within the group. However, he also understood that honesty was crucial. If the boys knew about Nari, they should also know about his past relationship with you.
Mingi broke the thoughtful silence that had settled over the room, drawing everyone's attention to him. "So, the infamous dating ban?" he asked, his voice echoing softly in the quiet space.
"Yes, the dating ban," Jongho confirmed. There was a trace of melancholy in his voice, his lips curling into a sad smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.
Wooyoung let out an exaggerated sigh. "Dating ban was such bullshit," he complained. Jongho chuckled at Wooyoung's dramatic sigh. He found a sense of solidarity in Wooyoung's words and nodded in agreement, his response a silent testament to their shared sentiments.
"Well, if there's anyone here who should be talking, it's definitely you," San interjected, causing Wooyoung to furrow his brows in confusion, not quite grasping the implication of his words. Without skipping a beat, San continued, "I mean, I believe we all remember that you had a boyfriend back then. It's not exactly a secret, is it?"
Wooyoung's eyes widened, a look of surprise flashing across his face. He opened his mouth to respond, but no words came out. He glanced at Yeosang, who was trying to suppress a grin, and then at Mingi, who simply shrugged, a knowing smile on his face.
"Wait, you knew about that?" Wooyoung asked, his voice filled with disbelief.
"Of course, we did," Yunho replied matter-of-factly. "You weren't exactly subtle, Wooyoung."
"Yeah," Jongho added, his grin widening. "Your secret rendezvous weren't as secret as you thought."
Wooyoung groaned, burying his face in his hands. "I can't believe you guys knew all along and didn't say anything."
"Well," San said, trying to suppress his laughter. "It wasn't our place to say anything. And besides, it was kind of fun watching you think you were getting away with it."
Just as Wooyoung was gathering his thoughts, preparing to open his mouth to speak, Yeosang, with a sly grin on his face, suddenly interjected. He smoothly diverted the conversation to a memorable event, saying, "I remember this one time when we were recording the music video for Deja Vu." Yeosang continued, his tone teasing, "You came to set sporting this huge hickey, it was impossible to miss." He laughed and added, "You really thought you had fooled us when you blamed it on the stylist, claiming that you were accidentally burned by a hair curler, didn't you?"
Wooyoung's face flushed a deep red as he stammered, trying to find a way to defend himself. "I... I mean... it... it was a believable excuse, wasn't it?" He blurted out, his voice wavering slightly. The room erupted in laughter, each member clutching their stomachs as they bent over in mirth. The memory of Wooyoung's failed attempt at deception amplified the hilarity of the situation, and even Wooyoung himself couldn't help but join in the laughter.
Mingi decided it was time to share his piece of information. "Well…" he began, drawing out the word to create a sense of suspense among his friends. After a dramatic pause, he continued, "Wooyoung wasn't the only one in a relationship."
As these words left his lips, all eyes in the room turned to him, their attention now fully captivated. After enjoying a moment of being the center of attention, Mingi finally added the crucial piece of information. "Yunho was dating too," he revealed, his voice echoing in the sudden silence that followed.
The room fell silent for a moment, all eyes turning towards Yunho. The surprise on their faces was comical, but the atmosphere was far from tense. There was no judgement in their gazes, just a mild shock and a lot of curiosity. Yunho simply shrugged, a small, sheepish smile spreading across his face. "Yeah," he admitted, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. "I was seeing someone back then too."
The announcement was met with a range of reactions. San whistled, a playful smirk on his face. Seonghwa, on the other hand, let out a light chuckle. "I knew it," he said, pointing a finger at Yunho. "I could tell there was someone on your mind."
"So, the girl with pink hair, right?" Yeosang asked, a wide grin spreading across his face. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table, his eyes dancing with amusement. His gaze was fixed on Yunho, who was visibly taken aback by the sudden inquiry. "The one who was our assistant when we were shooting Kingdom?" He continued, the question lingering in the air, adding an element of suspense to the conversation. Yunho shifted uncomfortably in his seat, the unexpected spotlight making him squirm. He scratched the back of his head, a nervous chuckle escaping his lips as his eyes darted around the room, meeting the curious gazes of his bandmates. From the corner of his eye, he could see Jongho trying to suppress a grin, clearly enjoying the sudden turn of events. Yeosang leaned back in his seat, the satisfied smirk on his face signifying his victory.
"How did you... know?" Yunho asked, his eyes wide with surprise. His voice echoed softly amidst the silence that had fallen upon the room.
San, a grin playing at the corners of his mouth, turned his attention to Yeosang, who was enjoying his moment in the spotlight. "It seems like Yeosang knows everything," he voiced out, a note of amusement in his tone. His words hung in the air, drawing a round of chuckles from the other members.
Yeosang, a smirk tugging at his lips, leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. His eyes sparkled with amusement as he met San's gaze, clearly enjoying the unexpected attention. His laughter filled the room, a sound that was contagious, causing the other members to join in. His response to San's comment was delayed as he tried to control his laughter, the sound echoing off the walls of the room. Once the laughter died down, Yeosang finally addressed San's statement. Still chuckling, he nodded in agreement, a playful glint in his eyes. "Well, someone has to keep tabs on you guys," he retorted, earning a round of laughter from the others. "But to answer your question," Yeosang began, his smile broadening as he turned his gaze towards Yunho. There was a playful twinkle in his eyes that prompted a round of chuckles from the other members. "I just have a good eye for detail," Yeosang responded with a shrug, a smug grin on his face. "It was pretty obvious with the way she looked at you, Yunho." He concluded, causing Yunho to blush at the accurate observation. "And let's not forget those late-night 'phone calls' you used to have," Yeosang added with a wry grin, air-quoting around the words 'phone calls'. "I mean, I didn't know phone conversations could get so... intense." His words, filled with playful insinuation, caused another wave of laughter to ripple through the room. "And let's not forget the mysterious 'noise' that came from your room during those late-night 'phone calls'," Yeosang added, a teasing glint in his eyes. "I mean, I didn't know phone conversations could get so... loud." He concluded, causing another round of laughter to fill the room.
"Alright, alright, that's enough," Yunho finally managed to say, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "I get it, I wasn't as sneaky as I thought I was."
"I guess the Dating Ban was bullshit for all of us," Wooyoung quipped, earning a round of laughter from the others.
In a moment of sudden revelation, Hongjoong, with a hint of disbelief in his voice, asked the room, "Was I really the only one not involved in dating?"
Nonchalantly, Seonghwa, with a teasing glint in his eyes, responded in a humorous tone, "Well, you were sort of dating... you were totally absorbed in your work." Hongjoong's question was met with a round of laughter, Seonghwa's quick wit lightening the mood even further.
"That's true," Hongjoong admitted with a chuckle, "I was indeed dating my work back then."
"Wait a minute," Yeosang interjected, an intrigued look on his face as he turned towards Hongjoong. "Weren't you seeing this one guy from Balmain? You know that guy with really cool tattoos? I remember you mentioning something about him right around the time they were considering lifting the dating ban." The room fell silent as everyone turned to look at Hongjoong, their eyebrows raised in surprise and curiosity. Caught off guard by Yeosang's unexpected revelation, Hongjoong found himself at a loss for words. "I mean... it was... what I'm trying to say is," he stuttered, pausing as he tried to gather his thoughts. "It was way later than the others…" he finally managed to say, the admission hanging in the air amidst a room full of intrigued pairs of eyes.
Before he could recover, Mingi, who had been quietly observing the exchange, suddenly burst out, "Wait, hold on a second! Was Hongjoong the reason they decided to lift the ban?" He pointed at Hongjoong accusingly, his eyes wide with disbelief and shock. Hongjoong spluttered, his face flushing a bright red as he scrambled to deny Mingi's claim. The room erupted in laughter at his flustered reaction, the seriousness of their earlier conversation forgotten.
"No, no, that's not how it was at all!" Hongjoong exclaimed, his eyes wide as he tried to explain himself. He paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts before continuing. "I had absolutely no idea that the company was even considering lifting the dating ban when I started seeing him. It was all just a coincidence, nothing more." Hongjoong looked around the room, his gaze meeting each of his bandmates in turn, hoping they would believe him.
Despite the surprise that had initially taken over them, the members of the group couldn't help but join in the laughter at Hongjoong's flustered state. A tinge of amusement was evident in their eyes. San, with a grin spreading cheekily across his face, chimed in, "Alright, Hongjoong," His tone was teasing but friendly. "We believe you...for now."
Wooyoung, still unable to completely stifle his chuckles, moved towards Hongjoong. With a comforting pat on Hongjoong's back, he tried to reassure him. "Don't worry, captain," he said, his grin never leaving his face as he looked at Hongjoong, "Your secret is safe with us." His words, filled with sincerity and a promise of trust, hung in the air, solidifying the bond among them.
"Let's just get one thing straight, Hongjoong," Jongho began, his voice carrying a serious undertone that instantly caught everyone's attention. His gaze was steady, his eyes reflecting the confusion and a hint of resentment that had been brewing inside him. He wished he didn't have to disrupt the light-hearted mood that had settled in, but he found himself compelled to voice the question that had been nagging at him for far too long. The room fell silent. The laughter that had been resonating just moments ago seemed to have evaporated, replaced by an air of anticipation. All eyes were now on Jongho, waiting for him to continue. He took a deep breath, preparing himself to voice out the question that had been weighing on his heart. "If we were all, at some point or another, involved in dating despite the ban..." he said, his voice steady despite the serious topic. His gaze never left Hongjoong, seeking answers in the leader's reactions. He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts before he continued. "Why was it me who had to give up on Y/N? Why did you force me to break up with her?" The question hung in the air, raw and potent. It was a question that dug deep, unearthing a past that Jongho had tried to bury. A past filled with regret, heartache and unspoken words. The question was met with silence, the members exchanging glances, each lost in their own thoughts and recollections. Hongjoong looked taken aback, clearly not expecting Jongho's question. He opened his mouth but closed it again, seemingly struggling to find the right words. The silence that followed was deafening, all eyes now turned towards Hongjoong who sat quietly, his gaze steady on Jongho.
"Jongho," he finally started, his voice steady and calm. "Our situation back then, it was... it was different." He paused, carefully choosing his words. "We were only rookies. The risk was too great. It wasn't just about you, or me, or any of us individually. It was about ATEEZ." His words filled the room, silencing any potential objections. He looked around at his bandmates, his gaze lingering on each of them as he continued. "We all made sacrifices. We all had to give up something, or someone, for the sake of our dreams. It wasn't easy, but it was necessary." The room was silent as Hongjoong's words sunk in. Each member was lost in their own thoughts, reflecting on the sacrifices they had made and the choices they had to live with. "I know it was hard," Hongjoong added, his gaze returning to Jongho. "And I'm sorry you had to go through that. But we made it, didn't we? We're here because of the choices we made, the sacrifices we made. And I believe it was worth it." Jongho remained silent, his gaze fixed on Hongjoong. He understood where Hongjoong was coming from, and he knew that the decisions made back then had shaped them into who they were today. But that didn't make the pain of losing you any less real, any less raw. The laughter and friendly banter that had filled the room just moments ago seemed like a distant memory now. All eyes were on Hongjoong, each member taking in his words and the weight they carried. "I know that I am partially to blame for your absence in your daughter's life," Hongjoong continued, his voice laced with a palpable regret that filled the silent room. "I realize now that my actions and decisions back then have had a profound impact, not only on you, Jongho, but also on a little girl who deserved to have her father by her side. For that, I am truly sorry." Hongjoong cleared his throat before continuing, "If I ever hurt any of you with my actions or decisions, I am so sorry," his voice filled with raw emotion as he looked around the room, "As a leader, I'm the one responsible and I wanted nothing more than for all eight of us to be successful." His voice trembled, and he was on the verge of tears. And then, in a voice barely above a whisper, he made a confession that hung heavy in the room. "I... I gave up on someone too." His confession was met with silence, a solemn moment of understanding passing through the room. Hongjoong continued, his voice barely above a whisper, the attention of the boys fixated on him in the quiet room. "She's married now. She found someone who makes her happy, someone who was there when I couldn't be. I genuinely am happy for her," he paused, his gaze falling on his hands as he battled with the emotions welling up inside him. "But sometimes I find myself thinking 'what if.' What if circumstances had been different? What if I had made different choices?" His voice trailed off, leaving the unsaid words hanging in the tension-filled room. Each member was lost in their own thoughts, reflecting on the sacrifices they had made and the choices they had to live with.
"Hongjoong, I don't blame you," Jongho interrupted, his voice firm yet gentle. His heart ached for his friends who were shouldering an immense burden of guilt. "We both didn't know Y/N was pregnant," he continued, his gaze softening as he tried to reassure Hongjoong. "We were all in the dark about her pregnancy. None of us could have predicted what was to come." The room fell into a contemplative silence as Jongho's words echoed, a reminder of the unforeseen circumstances that had led them to this point. "And while it's true that I missed out on some moments in Nari's life," Jongho added, his voice steady with conviction, "I'm here now. And I'm ready to make up for lost time. We all are." His words were filled with resolve, a promise to do right by his daughter.
Hongjoong nodded, acknowledging Jongho's words. "We're with you, Jongho," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "We'll support you and Nari every step of the way."
"And if anyone tries to mess with our niece," San added, a fierce determination in his voice, "they'll have to deal with all of us." His words were met with nods of agreement from the other members, their faces reflecting their shared resolve.
"And Jongho," Hongjoong began, his voice heavy with the weight of his words, his gaze locked onto Jongho's with an intensity that demanded his undivided attention. "We all made sacrifices. Each of us, at one point or another, had to let go of someone we deeply cared for, someone we loved." He paused, letting the gravity of his words sink in, their echoes filling the room with a solemn silence. "Considering all the sacrifices we made, for the sake of our dreams and for the sake of ATEEZ," he continued, his voice steady despite the heavy topic, "you owe it not just to yourself, but to all of us, to fight for Y/N." His words were punctuated by a determined nod, an unspoken pledge of support hanging in the air between them. "You have to muster the courage within you, fight against the odds and fight for your love. You have to fight for the chance to be with Y/N, to be a father to Nari, to build the family that you clearly want." He concluded, his gaze softening as he offered Jongho a reassuring smile. "Because at the end of the day," Hongjoong said, his voice softer now, "love is a battle worth fighting for. And I want all of you guys to know," Hongjoong voice carried a seriousness that instantly drew the attention of his bandmates. "That even though our personal lives are evolving, we still need to stay focused on our work. We've been doing such an incredible job, and I couldn't be prouder of each and every one of us." He paused, allowing his words to resonate in the silent room. Hongjoong continued, "But moving forward, let's make a pact to be honest with each other. Let's not hide our feelings or our relationships out of fear." His gaze swept across the room, meeting the eyes of his friends who listened attentively to his words. "We shouldn't be scared of a scandal or of what others might think. We should remember that love is what makes us human." He took a deep breath, the weight of his next words hanging heavy in the air. "So, for the love of God, guys, let love in. Embrace it. And most importantly, talk to us about it." Hongjoong concluded, his voice filled with sincerity and a hint of urgency. "We're a family, and there should be no secrets between us. Let's support each other in all aspects of our lives, personal or professional."
Mingi, who had been quiet for a while, cleared his throat, drawing the attention of his bandmates. There was an air of anticipation as they turned to face him, the room falling silent as he prepared to speak. With a small, nervous smile on his face, he looked around at his friends and admitted, "Actually, I'm... I'm seeing someone now." The eyes of his bandmates widened in surprise; their gazes fixated on Mingi. His words hung in the air, creating a moment of stunned silence. "It's still really fresh," Mingi continued, his voice filled with a mix of nervousness and excitement. "But I really wanted to tell you." He took a deep breath, steadying himself before continuing. "I'm... I'm dating a guy." His confession, delivered in a soft voice, echoed in the silence. The room remained quiet for a while as his words sunk in, each member processing the revelation. The atmosphere was one of uncertainty, as Mingi waited for someone to break the silence. Then, slowly, smiles began to form on the faces of his bandmates. Nods of understanding and acceptance started filling the room, each member expressing their support for Mingi in their own way.
Wooyoung was the first to react, his surprise quickly turning into a wide grin. "That's great, Mingi!" He exclaimed, his enthusiasm breaking the silence.
San followed, a soft smile on his face as he nodded at Mingi in agreement, "We're happy for you," The atmosphere in the room had shifted from shock to acceptance, and soon enough, it was filled with a renewed sense of brotherhood. The bond they shared as a group was stronger than ever. They were not just bandmates; they were a family. And in a family, love and acceptance were all that mattered.
In the aftermath of Mingi's revelation, Hongjoong directed a playful question towards the group. "So Jongho is a father, Mingi is a taken man... Is there anything else you guys are hiding?" His tone was light, but there was a hint of curiosity in his eyes as he scanned the room.
Seonghwa, with a broad grin on his face, let out a chuckle that echoed through the room, breaking the silence that had momentarily settled. "Well, we all are uncles now, that's a new one," he remarked, his words drawing a round of laughter from the others. The thought of being 'uncles' was still a novelty to them, a new role they were more than willing to embrace. After the laughter had subsided, Seonghwa added another revelation, his tone teasing. "And Yeosang might just be a part-time detective," he said, earning a surprised look from Yeosang and another round of laughter from the group. "With the way he's been figuring out everyone's secrets, he might as well consider it as a second career." His comment was met with nods of agreement, each member recalling Yeosang's uncanny ability to notice the smallest of details.
"And we can’t forget San's newfound addiction," Wooyoung chimed in, a playful look on his face. "Protein shakes, protein bars, protein everything!" His comment drew laughter from the group. San responded with a playful smack on Wooyoung's arm, his face flushing with embarrassment but a grin on his face.
"Hey, it's not an addiction, it's a lifestyle," San retorted, trying to defend himself amidst the peals of laughter. His attempt to justify himself only made his friends laugh harder.
"Guys let's also not forget one of the most entertaining aspects of our group dynamics," Mingi chimed in, a playful glint in his eyes. He paused for dramatic effect, causing the room to fall into a moment of anticipatory silence. Then, with a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth, he finally revealed his thoughts. "If only San was gay, Wooyoung would have already married him by now!" His words, delivered with impeccable timing, caused an eruption of laughter to fill the room. The members doubled over, clutching their stomachs as they laughed.
Wooyoung, upon hearing Mingi's teasing comment, was left speechless for a moment. He then burst into hearty laughter, his face flushing a deep shade of red, but there was a twinkle in his eyes that revealed his amusement. He managed to retort between bouts of laughter, "Well, if San would have me, I wouldn't say no!" His comment added to the hilarity, earning another round of laughter from the group.
After the laughter had died down, San, still grinning from Wooyoung's retort, chimed in. "Well, I guess we'll have to see about that," he said, winking at Wooyoung. His comment elicited another round of laughter. Then, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, Wooyoung made a kissy face at San, causing the room to burst into another round of laughter. San responded with a playful roll of his eyes.
"But let's not forget," Yeosang added, his eyes glinting with amusement, "Mingi is saying all this as if he wouldn't risk it all for Yunho." His statement, filled with playful insinuation, hung in the air, causing another round of laughter to ripple through the room.
Yunho, who had remained quiet for a while, finally chimed in with a chuckle. "Well, I guess we all have our secret crushes... or not-so-secret, in some cases." His comment, accompanied by a teasing look towards Mingi, added another wave of laughter to the room.
"Thank you guys so much," Jongho started, his voice carrying a heartfelt note in the room filled with his bandmates. "I know that this is the beginning of something new for me. Things are going to change, my life will definitely take a significant turn." He paused for a moment, his words hanging in the air as he collected his thoughts. "But to know that I have the support of my bandmates, my brothers," he continued, his voice stronger now. "It means more than I can express. It gives me strength and confidence to face the challenges that lie ahead. To know that I'm not alone in this journey, that I have you guys standing by my side, it means the world to me."
"Eight make one, right?" Mingi smiled at Jongho, his words echoing the sentiment they all held close in their hearts.
"That's the spirit!" Yeosang chimed in, his smile matching the warmth in his voice. "We're a team, a family. We've been through a lot together and we'll continue to face whatever comes our way, together." The room was filled with nods of agreement and smiles around. The atmosphere was light, yet filled with a profound sense of unity and resolve. They were more than just a band – they were a family, bound not just by their shared dreams and experiences, but by the love and respect they held for each other.
"Let's continue to work hard, for ourselves, for ATEEZ, and for ATINY," Wooyoung voiced out, his tone determined yet filled with heartfelt sincerity. His words were met with a chorus of agreement, each member expressing their shared commitment to their dreams and to their fans.
"We've come a long way, haven't we?" San mused, a nostalgic smile tugging at his lips. His words prompted a round of nods, each member reminiscing about their journey – the struggles they had faced, the victories they had celebrated, and the countless memories they had created together.
"And we still have a long way to go," Hongjoong added, his voice ringing with determination. His words were met with nods of agreement, the resolve in his voice reflecting in the eyes of his bandmates.
"But as long as we have each other, we can face anything," Yunho concluded, his gaze meeting each of his bandmates in turn. His words, filled with conviction and unwavering faith, hung in the air, solidifying the bond among them.
"I hate to say it but could we maybe... do a group hug?" Jongho suggested his voice barely above a whisper. He hadn't even finished his sentence when Wooyoung, unable to contain his excitement, was already all over him, pulling him into a tight embrace. The others quickly joined in, forming a tight huddle around Jongho, their laughter and chatter filling the room.
In the comfort of the group hug, each member felt a sense of relief and unity. They were there for each other, through thick and thin, a testament to their unbreakable bond.
"Eight makes one team!" Hongjoong shouted, his voice echoing in the room. The rest of the members joined in, their voices blending into a chorus that filled the room with a sense of unity.

comic Dick Grayson taking the reader to the Wayne gala as their date when they realize that multiple men are eyeing her, and dick gets all jealous and overprotective and one way or another, he’s kissing down her neck and making out with her in a hallway, and dick keeps his eyes slightly open just to see how some men are watching them make out so he just smirks into the kiss and leads the reader into Bruce’s office where he forces her to stay quiet (AM I INSANE FOR REQUESTING THIS??😭)
No, sweetheart, you are perfectly sane. I love you <3
—Warnings: 18+ content. Fingering, pet names (princess, love, etc.,)
Everyone knows the Wayne Galas are always extravagant, meaning—no matter your gender, you need to dress your best. I mean, it's Bruce Wayne, right? And sometimes it's more fun to attend a gala with a... friend—or better yet, a date.
That date being Dick Grayson, whose arm was wrapped tightly around your waist, he dragged you around with him all night. Why? He knew the looks those "men" were giving you.
I mean, you were gorgeous, that was a fact. (Look it up)
And, well, those men wanted you. They wanted to be the ones holding you and making you laugh. But all they could do was watch, and watching isn't entertaining.
Now, you found yourself standing near a corner while Dick had left to get some lemonade. "Are you alright, miss?" You heard a voice pang from behind you.
You turned around and saw a man dressed in a tuxedo. He adjusted his tie and inched closer to you. "You seem... tired. Would you like to leave? I assure you—my mansion is up to its name."
You held in an obnoxious laugh. "I don't think my boyfriend would like that."
The man chuckled, "Well, your boyfriend isn't here, love. And he doesn't need to know either." He cupped your cheek, making you roll your eyes.
"Don't worry, doll, later, you'll be rolling your eyes for a different reason." You smirked, knowing that Dick was watching your interaction with this man.
Bless the souls of those who dare to even look at Dick Grayson's girl.
"Really now?" He nodded. "What do you say... we get 'outta here?"
"Hands off," you heard from behind you. You grinned. "Sorry, buddy. She's taken." His eyes bore into the man. Dick's hand snacked up to your waist, pulling you close to him.
The man's eyes widened, "Right, of course," he quickly ran off, his face red from embarrassment.
"Trying to rile me up, aren't ya? Silly girl," he whispered into your ear.
You grinned. "Maybe I was trying to make you just a bit mad,"
Next thing you knew, you and Dick were in the hallway, his hands tracing the fabric of your dress. He left small trails of kisses down your neck, making you gasp.
He lifted your chin, his eyes looking deeply into your soul. Dick closed the gap between you, causing fireworks to explode. You wrapped your arms around his neck and closed your eyes.
Little did you know that Dick's eyes weren't. The door to the area of the gala was slightly open. And those men that were eyeing you earlier could only watch and get off with Dick making out with you.
Slowly, you were being dragged somewhere. An office...
Bruce Wayne's office. This wasn't right. Definitely not.
He closed the door behind him.
"Dick, what're we doing here?" you asked. "My dear, we needed a bit of privacy," Dick said, his hands trailing up to your thighs, gently squeezing them.
As you were about to utter another word, he clamped his hand on your mouth and whispered, "Don't, love. We don't want anyone to hear us, right?" You nodded, falling right into his trap. (wtf)
His hands went back to your thighs, moving further up, causing you to let out a small moan. "Keep quiet, baby, don't wanna get caught now do we? I mean, we are in Bruce's office." Dick chuckled.
You whined. It was unfair of Dick. You wanted each other badly and now he was asking you to be quiet.
He pushed your panties to the side and began to gently twist and pinch your clit.
Fuck," you groaned, his hand still clamped onto your mouth. "That's not very lady-like, princess," he taunted, pushing his fingers inside you.
Dick curled his fingers, hitting that spot which made you squirm.
"I know, sweetheart. So fucking wet," Dick's mouth latched onto your nipple. His free hand went up and unclipped the front part of your dress, letting your breast free.
He continued to push his fingers deeper inside you. Your moans and pants were muffled by his hand. "You're close, aren't ya? I can feel you, baby. Squeezing my fingers."
"Keep quiet, love. Don't want anyone finding out that my fingers are deep inside you now do we? Now that'd be a scandal." he teased.
Your body was shaking from pleasure. "Come on, princess. Let go for me."
And you did. Your legs were shaking, and you were seeing stars. Dick's eyes lit up with joy as he watched his girl ride out her orgasm.
"That's it, sweet girl," he cooed. He slipped his fingers out and into his mouth, sucking your cum off. "Delicious," he purred, making your core tighten.
"On the desk," Dick demanded, pointing his finger towards Bruce's desk.
You obliged and sat on the desk. You were a sight to see. He lifted your chin, "God, you're so fucking perfect. You're my girl, all mine." Dick whispered into your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
And now suddenly you knew why he wasn't given a nickname such as "rich," "rick," or any other basic white-boy nickname.
He was Dick Grayson.
And it's safe to say that he ISN'T done with you.

PLEASE tell us all about rhaelor omgomg
OH MY GOD ❗️i’m so excited to talk about my mellow marshmallow ❗️❗️❗️
rhaelor is the youngest child of alicent and viserys, born almost a year after daeron (so they’re basically irish twins 🫶).
appearance: he’s very tall (almost as tall as aemond), with long, lanky limbs, prominent wrist and hip bones, and LOTS of freckles (i headcanon hightowers to be super freckled so he got it from his mom!!! let me be delulu in peace). he has excessively long hair (he has refused haircuts ever since he learned how to speak), more white than usual targaryen gold-silver, with a few streaks of pale ginger (because i thought it would be funny for him not to have the perfect targ look). alicent is the only one to notice his eye colour is exactly the same as rhaenyra’s, probably because she’s a massive dyke (same alicent, same).
personality/skills: rhaelor’s very sensitive, prone to histrionics and a massive mommy’s boy. he’s charming, well versed in court pleasantries and a gigantic gossip, which is probably why despite his dramatic nature, he’s so popular amongst the ladies at court (he’s like their token little gay boy but in a slay way). rhaelor is very into traditionally feminine things, adores all stuff soft, expensive and shiny. he LOVES art, being an excellent harpist, singer and lace maker. he’s TERRIBLE when it comes to combat though, hopeless with sword and barely passable with bow and arrow. he tends to be quite lazy and avoidant when it comes to anything that does not interest him, preferring to lounge around, engage in his hobbies and blabber to any poor soul who’s in his closest vicinity. he’s also so uninterested in serious politics and princely duties that it makes him even more useless. he’d probably prefer to be a pampered courtesan than son of a king and if not for alicent, who knows? maybe he would end up leaving and becoming saera 2.0.
relationships: so as i mentioned, rhaelor LOVES alicent so fucking much! refusing to ever leave her side for long, to the point where when daeron gets sent away to oldtown, he is allowed to stay in king’s landing. he hates to see her sad and sometimes spends hours upon hours playing and singing music to her. although rhaelor can be as frustrating of a son as aegon, i think alicent does have a soft spot for her flamboyant little creature.
when it comes to his siblings, while rhaelor is quite fond of all of them, it’s aegon who he has the best relationship with. they bond over wine (oh yeah, rhaelor’s a massive drunk as well, the „YAS GIRL LET’S PARTY” type to aegon’s „I’M GONNA FUCKING K1LL MYSELF IN 3 2 1”) and silly gossip. aegon and rhaelor have three brain cells combined, which results in a lot of stupidity (and headache for their poor servants).
aemond finds rhaelor annoying, a bit pathetic even, but rhaelor has that magical way of wrapping him around his finger anyways. maybe because he can be so helpless at times and aemond is Targtowers’ Guard Dog Deluxe. they have a funny relationship, full of bickering and little digs at each other, finding common language in aemond’s love for history and rhaelor’s of art.
helaena baffles rhaelor and the stupid lad does NOT know how to interact with her whatsoever. he’s probably a bit jealous of her being a girl because, well, what is a targaryen without a little gender envy 🫡 they do share some sweet moments though, long hours of helaena working on her embroidery and rhaelor on his lace (probably yapping like crazy that boy does NOT shut the fuck up)
and daeron, while they don’t have much in common with each other, they’re so close in age that they just get along well. daeron is very lenient with rhaelor, finding his freespirited, spoiled behaviour rather adorable and harmless. rhaelor thinks of daeron very highly, often talking praises of him (only half to annoy his other older brothers).
rhaenyra though? they barely have a relationship because he’s so much younger than her. he does not acknowledge her as the true queen solely because he loves aegon so much, he’s stupid as fuck when it comes to politics (and logical thinking lmao).
miscellaneous: rhaelor enjoys cross dressing, finding women’s fashion much more “darling and superb” than men’s. he takes great care of his skin and hair. especially hair, only one servant is allowed to touch it because he’s so particular about the way it’s treated. he hates meat, having a great compassion for animals, and rarely eats it. it gives very much “white woman putting animal lives over human” energy though because he does NOT acknowledge smallfolk as real, breathing, feeling beings. he DOES have a dragon, a slender pale-gold thing called starling. starling gets injured early in life, though, stunting her growth and making her unable to fly for longer periods of time. rhaelor LOVES her, think of an old lady and the cat she’s owned for like 18 years. that’s rhaelor and starling energy.

Whoops my hand slipped
She’d made Alfredo for dinner that night, with a side of garlic bread. He’d come crawling out of his cave when the smell of the garlic wafted through the air, eaten three bowls (and at least half a loaf of the bread )before giving a thumbs up and slinking off to some dark corner of the house. Which left her to sit in the living room alone. Lovely.
She’d sat on her phone for a bit before growing bored and turning on the tv, shoving an old disk into the cd player and pressing play. The room filled with the sound of Lou Jitsu’s cry of “Hot Soouuup!” as a menu popped up. Definitely wasn’t the thing she’d watch normally, but she was bored.
The movie had played for a grand total of two seconds before Othello reappeared, his hair tied into a messy bun, pajama pants plastered with Lou Jitsu’s face. She looked him up and down, taking in the outfit in all its glory before rolling her eyes and patting the couch next to her.
“ Ya know, I was just staring to get used to you and all your little quirks.” She monotonously, her eyes locked on the screen purposefully avoiding his watchful gaze, “ And sometimes I even begin to think that you are not as weird as I make you out to be.”
He stares at her, waiting patiently for the rest before the silence grew um comfortably and raises a brow.
“ And?”
“ And then you go to extravagant lengths to prove that you are exactly what I make you out to be.” Her eyes are still focused on the screen, but her peripherals give her a glimpse of a strained face.
“ Which is?” He presses, leaning slightly forward.
“ A total looser.”
He falls back immediately, all tension in his body gone. He slumps into the couch, head hanging over the back as he starts to smile.
“ And yet you still haven’t found somewhere else to live.” He says, eyes finding hers as he grins.
“Mmmm”
A hum is all that manages to escape her lips as she rips her attention from his eyes to the movie. They don’t talk after that, which is nice she supposes.
~
The movie is lame if she’s being honest, but Othello is clearly enjoying it. He’s mouthing along to the script and occasionally flailing his arms in the same motions as the actors. It’s kind of cute actually. The movie is long though, and after a bit her mouth becomes uncomfortably dry.
She gets up to walk to the kitchen, excepting even a slight reaction from Don. But he doesn’t move. He doesn’t seem to know she left, too entranced in the movie. How hurtful. She fills an extra glass, even though he probably won’t drink it, and makes her way back to the living room.
The drinks are placed on the side table as she scowls in disbelief. He’s managed to spread himself over the couch, his head resting where she used to be sitting. Ugh.
“ You’re sitting in my spot.” She spits at him, hands on hips.
He doesn’t say a word, merely lifting his torso in order her to slip back into her spot. So she does, and is mildly surprised when he lays his head back down. In her lap. She stiffens slightly before accepting her fate and resting her arm over him. He practically melts against her as she runs her fingers though his hair. The movie continues to play and her eyes droop. Her head falls to the side as she drifts, Othello mindlessly running his thumb over the arm she has draped over him. It’s nice.
~
She blinks awake, slightly startled to find that he’s still pressed against her. His face is nestled into her stomach, arm still wrapped around hers. A subtle churr escaping his chest as he breathes against her. He shifts as she tries to grab her water from the side table.
Eyes lazily flicking open, he looks up at her. She looks back, unsure of what to do. The churring has stopped, so he’s definitely lucid now. His head turns into her stomach again as he gets comfortable.
“ Do you mind if we stay like this a bit longer?” He mumbles against her.
“ Why?” She asks, not really caring, because this really isn’t half bad, and maybe she likes it. Just a little.
“ Warm.” He breathes, looping an arm around her waist.
Too tired to care - and definitely absolutely not because she likes it- she hums in agreement, moving her arm to cradle his head. He melts impossibly closer, before saying something again, his words lost against her shirt.
“What?” She frowns slightly, looking down at him again.
“Smell nice.” He murmurs, tightening his grip around her waist slightly. “ Like Lavender.” He manages, voice trailing off as he drifts back to sleep.
Then he is silent once more and resumes his nap, soft churring filling the room as he sleeps.
~
This is definitely not based off that doodle. Nope. Nuh uh.
I WAS JUST ABOUT TO ASK IF IT WAS ANOUT YHAY DOODLE AGZRARZHAGZ

Apology Tour Review
I typed this while I watch the episode. Warning this is screenshot heavy. I still watch the show on YT because I need subtitles sometimes but do not worry, I have ad blocker.
This was my face when the episode ended.
Tumblr media
The tonal whiplash from the end of EP8 to the beginning of EP9 is jarring. I am tired of hearing Stolas and Blitz talk about sex like we get their whole relationship is build off of it but ugh. It is probably my sex-repulsive talking but it just sounds childish. No one talks about sex like this unless they are teens who laugh when they see 'bitch' in the dictionary.
The anti-Blitzo party reminds me of the episode Gone from SpongeBob where everyone left the town because it was National No SpongeBob Day, and they went to build an effigy on SpongeBob and burn it to the ground.
'I do not look down on you' Stolas has called Blitz fetishy pet names since Season 1 and even called him a 'plaything', that does not sound respectful to me.
Tumblr media
Why the fuck did Stolas called Striker Blitz's friend? Does Stolas think all imps know each other? What is next, he thinks all of them look the same too? That is not a racist mindset at all. Blitz not saying 'He is not my friend' at all makes that line even worse. Also, unlike Stolas, Blitz spends time with his daughter and tries treat Loona like how his father treated him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, more WLW/Sapphic rep, that is nice. The fan artists are going to have a field day with this. This is a win for the WLW/Sapphics.
Tumblr media
Me when I get a notification on Twitter.
Tumblr media
VEROSIKAAAAAAA!!!!!! MOVE YOU FUCK OWL THE REAL STAR OF THE SHOW IS HERE
Tumblr media
Me when I am in my Hater mode. She is having the time of her life! You go girl, SLAY!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love me a cute background character and I found one. I love cat themed designs.
Tumblr media
Put Verosika back on screen. Me listening to this song, UGH. These lyrics are awful. YAWN. Fuck Stolas, I cannot feel bad for his bitch ass.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
'I do not even know why you would want to be with me' Blitz is right about this. What does Stolas see about Blitz outside of sex? Stolas only talks about how good Blitz is in bed and that is it.
'I want to know what it is to not be alone' ????? You are not alone; you have a whole ass daughter!
'I want to be someone's someone'. It is probably my asexuality talking about I am not a fan of media saying stuff like this. Being alone is ok. You do not have to in a relationship to be happy. Being in a relationship is not going to fix your problems. You got to love yourself before loving someone else. I wish I was high while watching this show. Sounds like a fun time and I can just turn my brain off and be like 'OHHHH PRETTY COLORS!!!!" /lh
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Damn he fine as hell. Stay away from him Stolas!
Tumblr media
YES, THE QUEEN! Blitz being an awful partner to that many people is crazy minus Stolas because they were not dating.
Tumblr media
STAY AWAY FROM HIM! I am also tried of the damn tongue kissing. THAT SHIT IS NASTY!! People actually do that????? in real life?????
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Bird stealing"?????????? YA''LL WAS NOT DATING. HAVING SEX WITH SOMEONE IN A CASUAL WAY DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE DATING THEM!!! Stolas needs to spend time with Via, not kissing some random dude at a party.
Damn, this guy is fine as hell too. Anyway, why are trans guys always in the background? That is another post for another day.
Tumblr media
My final thoughts/review:
This episode was not as boring as Full Moon, but I am over Blitz and Stolas as characters. Their relationship is like stale and moldy bread. Even though he was drunk, everything Stolas said to Blitz feels hollow. I said this already in this post, but every time Stolas mentions Blitz it is in a sexual fetishy manner. Their relationship was built off of sex.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wish there was more of Verosika. I like the scene with her and Blitz before the stupid 'bird stealing' line. Her revealing that she was vulnerable when dating Blitz is pretty sad and I hope that she never forgives Blitz like Fizz forgave him.
I wonder if Verosika knew the full story of Blitz and Stolas' relationship. Would she still be on Stolas' side because clearly, she only knows one side of the story and clearly do not want to hear Blitz out because how he treated her.
One positive: Shout out to the background character artists. All the designs are cute, creative, and more appealing than the main cast. Shout to these cute in particular, they are super cute. I want more of them not this bland and tasteless yaoi.
Tumblr media
My overall score: 3/10
Needs more Verosika, less Stolas and his pity party.

Yo got any of your own bootheng/henghill hcs to share with the class? 👀
WAH- HELLO YES I DO???? WHDBNE
BUT BEFORE ANYTHING
(these headcanons are all purely platonic cause I genuinely prefer to think of them like that ngl :))
N E WAYS BOOTHILL AND DAN HENG HCS:
Yes I know I made a whole art about how boothill carries dh whenever he could but like lemme emphasize that this is only a Boothill Privilege™
Dh showing him something in his book: "so you see bla bla bla-"
Boothill who couldn't be bothered to kneel to Dan Heng's level: *scoops him up*
Dan heng:....
Dan Heng: you know you could hold the book if you want
Boothill: nah
Dan Heng: ...fine
On the other hand Dan Heng would absolutely deck any other person who tries to carry him in anyway shape or form (caelus he is looking at you)
Alright listen Boothill used to be a dad and Dan Heng grew up in the shackling prison with no contact whatsoever so what I am saying is boothill found out Dan Heng likes dad jokes and uses that knowledge WHENEVER
*boothill and Dan Heng investigating something and boothill sees stairs*
Boothill: Ya know.... I never trust stairs....
Dan Heng: ....what?
Boothill: ....cause they're always up to something
Dan Heng:
Dan Heng: *snort*-
It makes boothill always proud whenever he can pull one if these
Boothill actually knows a lot about machines and stuff (cause... Y'know) and sometimes yaps about them to Dan Heng
Dan Heng actually took interest in this sunject and records whatever boothil says if it wasn't already recorded in the data bank
(Dan Heng fell asleep once hile boothill was talking about them but only because he was too sleep deprived and hasn't slept in days and boothill is nice company)
(boothill wasn't mad, in fact he was quite pleased the guy finally slept he looked dead on his feet)
After boothill leaves Dan Heng sometimes even goes to welt to ask him about stuff he doesn't understand concerning machines and welt happily explains them which causes some bonding moments cause found family stuff is my JAM u-u
Boothill knows how to play a lot of instruments (guitar/ harmonica/ ukulele/ etc-) (i don't know most instruments forgive me 😔)
He taught Dan Heng how to play ukulele at some point
Whenever boothill visits he just grabs Dan Heng and leaves and no one is phased at this point
*boothill visiting the express and tb greets him*
Tb: are you gonna stay here for a while?
Boothill: I'd love yo, mate but I gotta get something real quick from the express and then maybe I'll stay for a whole
Boothill: *gets into the parlor car*
Boothill: *gets into the archives and rumages a bit*
Boothill: *gets out of the archives with Dan Heng on his shoulders like a sack of potatoes* Well, I'll be right back!
Tb, hemiko and welt who got used to this: sure!
Pompom, also used to this: BRING HIM BEFORE DINNER!
March, who still DIDN'T get used to this: .....
March doesn't get payed enough for this
Dan Heng actually doesn't KNOW a lot of swear words (he knows the basics lol) so sometimes boothill says a swear that doesn't fit into what Dan heng knows so he goes the data bank to look up for what boothill meant
Hemiko found out about this one day and she gave boothill A Discussion™ about how to not use so much colorful language around the others
Boothill shudders everytime he remembers said Discussion™
Aight I think that's actually all I have for now teehee~

i need buff reader x janis, who carries janis and places her on her lap when janis doesn’t wanna eat 😫😫
Where else would I be, baby?
Janis ‘Imi’ike x fem! reader
Warnings: coarse language, fluff, bad eating habits
In which Janis sometimes gets so busy she doesn’t even think about eating and reader has eventually come up with ways to have her eat something
“Oh, my God.” The second you stepped into the house, you saw Janis out in the backyard, art supplies sprawled all over the floor. You rushed over to her, “Janis. You’re still here?”
“Where else would I be, baby?” She asks, barely glancing at you.
“Have you been sitting here all day?” You crouched down to talk to her, then just sat down.
“I did get up to use the bathroom.” She tells you, eyes completely focused on her art piece.
You raised your brows, perplexed. “Did you eat anything at all?”
“Didn’t you even think about it.” She mutters.
“I’ve been gone six hours, Janis.” You looked at her, horrified.
“I’m not hungry.”
“Because you’ve been here, engrossed in your art.” You sighed, “Come on, let’s go out for dinner.”
“No, I need to get this done.” She says dismissively, “And you just got back from work, so…”
“So, we need to eat.” You stated.
“You go.”
You scoffed, “Janis.”
“y/n.” She mocks.
You exhaled, a little frustrated, “Janis, come on. It’s dinner time and you barely ate anything at breakfast.”
“Yeah, being on a period will do that to ya.” She laughs dryly.
“You know what I’ll do.”
“Try it, I don’t care.” She replies, tongue sticking out slightly between her lips in concentration. “I need to finish this tonight. I’ve been putting this off doing nothing for like two weeks.”
“I’m literally about to pick you up off the floor so you will sit at the table while I make dinner. If I have to spoon feed you so you’ll eat something, I will do it too.”
“Sure.” Janis chuckles. “Please do that.”
“Wouldn’t be the first time.” You nearly snorted, standing up. Easily, you picked her up when she least expected it and walked into the dining area then placed her on the stool by the island.
She sulked, clearly defeated. Janis groans, resting her head on folded arms. “I know you like working on your art, but you gotta remember to take care of yourself, baby.”
“I know, I know.” She sighs softly, “I just forget. If I busy myself with something I don’t even feel hunger, it’s like the last thing on my mind.”
“Which is why I told you…you gotta take a break every now and then, get up and stretch, walk, drink some water, have a snack.” You turned around to face her completely for a moment. “You need to eat to survive.”
Janis sighs, “It’s a bad habit, I’m sorry.”
“And that’s exactly why I’m helping you out with that.” You shrug. There was leftover rice in the fridge from last night so you took that out and opened up a can of Spam, along with the half-used bag of frozen vegetables. All that in a pan, dinner was settled and ready soon enough.
“Are you gonna try to avoid me now that the food’s done?” You eyed her suspiciously. She struggled with it sometimes. She’s never said it, but her actions spoke louder than words.
She doesn’t say anything but sulked and raised her brows. A sigh then falls from her lips as you plated the food. You left your portion in the pan though, literally instructing her to sit in your lap so she couldn’t go anywhere until she’s had her food. You weren’t eating anything until you knew she’s eaten. You’ve had your lunch, she hadn’t. So, you know, she had to eat. You could wait a few minutes more.
But of course, Janis was a little shit sometimes. Refusing to even sit down beside you now. “Ipo.” You exhaled harshly, “It’s like you want me to put you in my lap just so you’ll stay put and eat.”
She grins, “Maybe I do. Be my guest.”
Without a second thought, you grabbed her off her feet, away from the fridge. Closing its door in the process, “That was too easy.”
“Yeah, you’re jacked.” A chuckle falls from her lips.
“Okay, now— eat up.” You handed her the spoon. Janis jokingly groans but still dug into the food. You rested your chin on her shoulder with an arm wrapped around her waist.
“How was work?”
“I smell like popcorn, and I got new blisters. And a customer yelled at me today, so…same old, same old.” You laughed, pressing a kiss to her shoulder.
“Ouch.” She turned her head slightly, seething at your revelation. Then, she spots the red bumps on your hand. “That looks…painful.”
“Eh.”
“Aren’t you gonna eat?”
“My head hurts, so I think I’m gonna go take a hot shower afterwards first before I eat.”
“You can go now.” Janis tells you, shoving a spoonful of the fried rice into her mouth.
“I kinda don’t want to.” You said quietly, arm tightening around her waist.
“Hm, why’s that?” She asked, a cheeky smile forming on her face.
You let out a sharp exhale through your nose, trying not to chuckle, “I just wanna spend some time with you, is that so bad?”
“Aww.” Janis teases, “Go drink some water. Maybe you’ll feel better.”
“No way. You’ll run away from here and we both know that’s a fact.” You gasped, “You’re my prisoner until you finish this plate.”
“Oh wow.” She replies, bored.
“Excuse me?” She played along, “Janis ‘Imi’ike. Just trying to make sure you stop this unhealthy habit eventually.”
She ends up giggling, “Sorry, baby. I know.” Janis turned to look at you, beaming. You sighed, “You’re so fucking cute, you know that?”
“Oh, I am?”
You pressed a kiss to her cheek, reaching your hand up to squeeze her chin, “Yes. Yes, you are.”

this is the only place i can really ask bc if the context so
the trans kink group i’m in. i don’t want to use the actual name so i will call it the falcon group for this bc that’s the basic naming convention
my partner and i were at a small gay event yesterday. we see ppl from the group out at other local gay events sometimes (and know a couple from regular life). so my partner said hi to someone he recognized. and it went like this:
bf: Hi!
person: Hi(?)
bf: How are you?
person: Do we know each other?
bf: Oh, yeah, we’ve met at the falcon meetings.
person: You shouldn’t talk about that in public. It’s not something I want people to know about.
bf: Oh, okay.
person: Thanks.
and then we left bc we were on our way out anyway and i was like “damn, it’s not like you said we met at the orgy”
so anyway. this isn’t an AITA but it’s kinda like. who made the bigger social faux pas? i think the other person made it weird/slightly rude but i recognize i may be biased. but like what was my bf supposed to say, ya know? and the falcon group doesn’t give anything away, whereas “don’t talk about that in public i don’t want people to know” is more conspicuous.

Chapter 1
Tumblr media
🔥Phoenix and Ashes
Suna Rintarou x f!reader
Summary: “It’s funny how nobody believed that we could make it work.” - “Well-maybe they were right.”
Meeting Suna Rintarou wasn’t part of your plan. Dating him, either. Getting your heart smashed into the palms of his hand, even less.
Content Warnings: High School Setting, Fluff, Mention of an Original Character
Words count: 2.5k
Tumblr media
When you met Suna Rintarou, you did not pay attention to him.
It is during the entrance ceremony of the first years at Inarizaki High. Springs in Hyogo are known to be magnificent. You like flowers, and the cherry blossoms outside the school gate catch your attention. The colours of the petals are a subtle shade between white and pink. As you step back to admire them, you accidentally bump into him. You apologize, but he simply brushes it off. "Just a polite guy," you think dismissively.
You start hanging out with one Chihara Umi. At first, you find the girl way too energetic and enthusiastic for your taste. But she is your seatmate after all, so why not get along? (And a little shot of sunlight never hurts anyone). So you become a duo, as your classmates like to call you. One day, Umi drags you to the volleyball gymnasium. Not wanting to interrupt the practice you wait outside (and to be fully honest, you do not really care about teenage boys smashing blue and yellow balls).
That's when Suna walks past you and greets you with a simple "hi." You respond automatically while listening to Umi grumble about how Atsumu (the blond twin, you suppose) needs to return her English textbook.
"Samu has it, it's not my fault! Stop yellin’!"
"Oi! Why are ya blamin’ me, ya bastard?" (Osamu - the one with grey hair).
You sneak a quick glance at Suna. It’s good you have a perfect vision because if not, you wouldn’t have seen that faint smirk on his lips. That makes you want to smile too; the brothers' interactions are indeed entertaining to watch.
“The Miya brothers are my neighbours,” Umi explains to you after that. “They can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Especially Atsumu.”
You aren’t interested in romance, but you surely see the pink blush on your friend’s cheeks.
“Suna-kun greeted you earlier, right? Do you know him?”
“Nah, not really. I bumped into him at the entrance ceremony. That’s it.”
“That could be the start of a cute romance movie.”
You cringe at the thought; you never like those kinds of stories.
Apparently, being neighbours with the Miyas comes with the great responsibility of attending every single one of their matches. “It’s just a practice match, Umi. Do I really need to come with you?” “Yes, you know if we don’t come Atsumu will be upset again.” (A pain in the ass, really?)
That’s how you get used to spending your Saturday afternoons at Inarizaki’s gym (as if going to school five days out of seven isn’t already enough). You usually take your notebooks with you and work on your assignments. At least it is a bit (or a lot) more lively than your bedroom.
You and Suna exchange greetings, but your conversations do not go any further.
As you get to know the rest of the volleyball team, you still don't pay much attention to him. Sure, he is handsome (but so is Miya Atsumu), and smart (but not as much as Kita Shinsuke), and even strong (though Ojiro Aran is stronger). To you, he is just an ordinary guy - nothing more. But the thing is, so are you. You have grown up in a typical middle-class family in Amagasaki, in a not-so-big though not-too-little house, you are an only child. You never lacked anything; your parents are fair with you. Not showing too much affection, but not neglecting you either. Your grades aren’t the greatest, but they aren’t too bad. There is nothing you are passionate about, and you are fine with it.
So when you met him, you thought that perhaps, he is just like you. Normal. Average. Unremarkable.
But the weeks pass and Suna Rintarou appears in all places - a shared table during lunchtime, the library where you study, and even the local cafe you frequent. Each time, his presence seems almost deliberate, as if he is seeking you out without ever saying a word (deep down, you wish it was deliberate).
And as the volleyball season progresses, you can't ignore Suna Rintarou's presence on the court anymore. His precise blocks command attention, drawing your gaze whenever he is in action. Slowly, you begin to notice the subtle nuances of his movements.
“Suna-san's floating serve has gotten better these days.”
“Has it?” Umi frowns her eyebrows to concentrate on the middle blocker, “I haven’t realised. Atsumu’s set is still too fast though, I told him he needs to work on his timing but he doesn’t listen to me.”
You find yourself watching him during practices and games. And one day, during a practice match against a formidable opponent, you see him unleash a new move that leaves everyone, including their coach, in awe. It is then that you realise there is nothing average about Suna Rintarou; he is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. He has become remarkable.
You congratulate him after the match, and he thanks you. The conversation could stop here - it usually does, but he mentions your good rankings during the last midterms. “It was nothing,” you respond. “Being in the top 15 is nothing?”
You want to add that it is the minimal requirement your parents have asked of you, but you do not.
“What about you, Suna-san? Were the midterms okay?”
“Ew, mostly yes, but I failed bio.”
“I can help you if you want.” you propose genuinely. You do not dislike the idea of spending more time with him.
“I don’t want to bother you.”
“It’s fine, I wouldn’t ask if it was a burden.”
And so you exchange numbers.
It is just a number, but when you come home, you can’t take your eyes off it. Suna Rintarou. Such a pretty name, you think.
You start texting regularly. Your conversations are mainly about school at first, but then he starts sending pictures of the twins. Slowly you discover many sides of him.
Suna is funny. By messages, he has that talent for making you laugh with just a few words. “Did you really say that to that girl?” you don’t believe him when he tells you one of the many punchlines he has given to a twins’ secret admirer who had asked him to deliver some letters to them.
“I sure did.”
“That’s pretty harsh, Suna-san.”
“But that was funny. I know you want to laugh rn.”
You prefer not to answer to that because you have to either lie to him (and you are a very bad liar) or you would have to admit that it is indeed funny and Suna wouldn’t stop bragging about how easy it is to amuse you.
You also enjoy reading his texts about one of the many plans he and Osamu have put in place to prank Atsumu. The two of them form a rather chaotic and creative duo, you think.
But he is also serious. For school as well as for volleyball. He does not seem like it, but when you sit next to him at the library and revise the mistakes he has made in his last physics test, he listens to you with some attention (one you have never received before, ever). You notice how his lips are pursed and how his eyebrow furrows - as if it helps him focus. When something does not make sense to him, he looks at you in confusion. In those moments, you think he looks like a child and you enjoy that naivety coming from him - who is usually so composed. You secretly hope you are the only one to know ‘confused Suna’ because you find it too cute to share. His notes are clean and his handwriting neat. So you conclude that this not-so-caring about his grades guy actually cares about school.
When it comes to volleyball, there are two sides of him. One that executes his coach’s orders without much desire (compared to Atsumu and Osamu at least). And the other one who gives his best every time one Kita Shinsuke (captain-to-be, you hope) observes him. Suna never gives any importance to the traditional respect for his senpai, they are just upper classmates, no need to be formal, but you can’t help but notice how that does not apply to Kita. The latter appears to you as a blunt, almost cold boy who is nothing like a regular teenager. But somehow he has that incredible influence over his teammates that never fails to make them improve - as athletes as well as human beings. And so when Suna gets better (which he does amazingly, you think), the way his emerald eyes search for Kita’s validation and find a certain relief - or pride - when the older one nods in return, always manages to make you smile.
And he can be quite a flirt (even though it takes you way too long to realise that because why would Suna Rintarou flirt with you? You ask yourself). A succession of messages leads him to ask you on a date on a random afternoon and you agree to it.
”It’s not a date and don’t be so loud!” you have to argue with Umi when she almost spills her orange juice at your face in the middle of the hallway when you announce you can’t accompany her to the theatre on this Saturday because you have promised Suna that you will go to the planetarium with him.
“Oh c’mon, just the two of you? At a planetarium? This is how every love story starts, dummy.”
You try to make a face of disgust (hoping this will hide your joy). “He has a physics test next week, that’s probably why he wants to go there. Don’t make a big deal of it. And you’re so obsessed with love stories, this is almost worrying.”
“I’m not obsessed.” She tries to fight back. “Anyway, I can’t believe you’re betraying our rituals for some dude. What am I going to do without you?”
“Go with Atsumu.”
She clicks her tongue. “As if he had enough concentration to watch a two-hour-long movie. You know what?” Her eyes immediately start to shine and you know she’s about to mention her infamous neighbour, “Yesterday I tried to help him with his maths assignment. Actually, I told him about you and Suna-kun meeting every Wednesday to study and thought why not do that too? But gods have mercy, that stupid airhead wouldn’t let me explain one concept without comparing everything to volleyball or looking at his phone. Argh.”
You smile at that and think she is going for another long monologue about how Atsumu’s gets on her nerves but can also have a sweet side and so on and so on - which you love if you have to be honest because that is how your best friend is; passionate, whole, full of life (the complete opposite of you). But instead, she puts both hands on your shoulders and makes you face her.
“Sorry, we were talking about your date with Suna-kun.”
“It’s not-it’s not a date.” You have almost forgotten about that and the mention of the “d word” is enough to make your corporal temperature increase which manifestes in the sudden redness of your ears and cheeks (and probably your whole face).
“Whatcha talkin’ about?” Atsumu asks, appearing from behind you alongside Gin. You scan the surroundings with eagerness, making sure the subject of your conversation isn’t around. It doesn’t take you long to realise you’re in safe territory, Suna was easy to spot (at least to you). You would recognise him in any crowd, any storm. You would feel him miles away even separated by seas and continents. You would see him coming like spring comes after winter making snow melts and flowers bloom on his path.
“None of your business Tsumu.” Umi answers with much confidence which makes the boy smirk in return.
“What are you doing this Saturday?”
Atsumu’s is left in a state of bewilderment. You two never talked much, he even wonders if he knows the sound of your voice, so you asking him such a question almost seems like a trap. But his condescending self comes back pretty fast.
“You askin’ me on a date?”
You sneer and turn to Umi, “he really is full of himself.”
“Is that whatcha sayin’ about me Umi?” his voice reaches a high-pitched sound that makes you want to burst into laughter. How can the talented first-year-setter of the Inarizaki volleyball team get offended by such a comment?
“She’s obviously not asking you on a date stupid Tsumu, she wouldn’t lower her standards this much to start with.” Atsumu is about to respond but Umi doesn’t let him, “she just happens to be hm- busy this weekend.” With your best friend, she wants to add, but that would make you furious and the girl hasn’t planned to die so young. “And I don’t have anyone else to go to the cinema with so, maybe, you can come. But that’s for your own sake ‘cause you sure lack some cinematographical knowledge.”
“And you sure lack friends, smartass.”
Ginjima, who you just realise is still there, giggles. You want to interfere and pull the dyed-blonde hair of his and make him apologize, but you’re not the violent kind and Umi is usually smarter than you when it comes to teasing. But to your surprise, your friend is at loss for words and is unable to come up with a full sentence, “I-what-You…”
“Will it be the romance auteur film that you like so much?”
“Yes, but forget it, I will go on my-”
Umi is about to leave, you think you catch her eyes getting wet but Atsumu grabs her wrist. The resentment you’re starting to feel for that guy is growing even stronger with each second passing.
“I’m coming. What time?”
Umi’s gaze hardens and she lets go of his grip. “Stop making fun of me.”
The conversation is shortened by her leaving and you’re instinctively about to follow her but the setter calls your name.
“I wasn’t makin’ fun of her.”
You only know Miya Atsumu through Umi’s tales and Suna’s daily pictures. You’ve seen him play from afar but he was always at an arm’s length from you. And that first - and very quick - interaction with him did not make you want to know more. However, there’s a softness in his eyes. Guilt? Concern, perhaps? - you were never really good at guessing people’s feelings - that makes you want to take his side. So you sigh and decide to trust him.
“The film starts at 11 a.m. Saturday. Don’t be late.”
You think you hear him say thank you but you’re already gone to look for your friend.
Once you find Umi, on a bench, somewhere close to the baseball field - the two of you usually have lunch there - you’re not sure how to initiate the conversation. But you don’t even have the time to open your mouth, your friend pulls the rug out from under you.
“He’s always like that. Don’t mind him.”
She has always been better with words than you.
“Are you okay?”
You see her dry a tear from her eye in a quick move, almost ashamed of it.
“Totally okay.” She turns to you and smiles. You know that smile, it is not the one you like so much, full of light as if made by the sun itself. Your worried expression makes her take your hands in hers.
“One hundred per cent okay. No. Two thousand power squared seventy million per cent okay.”
The last comment makes you chuckle softly and you lay in her touch, “You’re such a math nerd.”
“And you’re such a physics nerd, going to the planetarium for your first-ever date.”
“It’s not a date.” You both say in unison - you, convinced, her, wryly.
You decide not to argue more with Chihara Umi, for you are no match to her stubbornness. You both watch the baseball team get the field prepared for their practice. It’s almost past sundown and you find a certain beauty in the brightness of the orange sky. You think it looks like it’s burning. And so is your heart. Slowly. But fiercly. At that time, you weren’t sure how to name this feeling, but one thing is obvious, as you watch the sun starting a fire to let the moon shine, you are thinking about him.
Suna Rintarou.
The unremarkable, average boy who turned out to be anything but that.
And it seems your friend is also thinking about him as she takes you right out of your thoughts by abruptly asking: “So, what are you going to wear for your date?”

The Lighter.
It wasn’t Shoko’s first time having to heal Gojo. Sometimes his Reverse Cursed Technique wasn’t enough and extra help was needed. But seeing him again was always a pleasant surprise, so she didn’t mind. Why would she? On this particular day, Gojo sauntered in with a gash that appeared semi-healed across the top of his left pectoral muscle. Its edges were rigid, as if the skin was on the verge of intertwining and regenerating, but lacked the cursed energy to complete the process.
He has a small smirk plastered on his face as he leans against the doorway, one leg bent to rest on the frame and the other kicked out as if he were trying to recline. His dove-like locks pushed to stick upwards due to his lifted blindfold resting around his temples like a headband. “Heyyy Sho.”
It was the same cheeky greeting every time, his tone shooting up when he extended it much longer than needed. However, there was a heaviness to his tone today, more depleted and listless than usual. Even the casual flick of his wrist into a salute-like wave with two fingers seemed languid. Shoko sat on a stool next to a stretcher, its wheels turned in different directions, losing their metal tint, scuffed and blackened from the amount of times it had been utilized. She hadn’t dropped the habit of smoking, a cigarette stayed coddled between her fingers, smoke evading from her mouth every few minutes or so. “Hey, Satoru. Didn’t expect to see you.”
He kicks himself off the door frame, his hands resting in his pockets, fiddling with something as he walks over to Shoko and takes a seat on the less than comfortable surface of the stretcher.
“I would have expected it to be the other guy. What are you doing here?” Shoko asks, removing the cigarette from her mouth as it starts to go out, not producing enough smoke for her to further inhale. She sighs softly and sets the cigarette down in a tray next to her.
“Well, I’m hurt. It’s just a measly scratch and normally I'd patch it up myself… Buttt,” The words fall off Gojo’s tongue like clockwork, his cockiness tightly threaded tightly into each one. He shifts his body, leaning slightly towards Shoko, hands resting on the stretcher's edge.“I decided I'd give you a chance to shine today, Shoko. Consider it a gift from yours truly.”
“Very funny.” Shoko retorts as she rolls her eyes ever so slightly, the corners of her lips turning up almost unnoticeably in amusement. Gojo grabs the hem of his shirt and pulls it over his head, Shoko instinctively averts her eyes, her head turning slightly away. He groans softly as he stretches his arms upward to remove the shirt fully, his hand coming down on the stretcher with a soft thud, the shirt clenched in his grip. He takes a deep exhale, a smirk grazing his face as he looks back at her, noticing her face turned in the other direction. “You can look, ya know? The gash is on my chest.”
She turns back to face him, his eyes half-lidded and seemingly uncaring about his current state. There was no visible emotion on her face apart from a slight raise of her brow. “How’d that happen? It’s pretty bad, actually,” He replies nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulders and gazing off to the floor. It was pretty unusual for him to be so badly injured. “You know I can only heal to an extent, Satoru. You might have a scar now.” Questions jostled through her mind. He wouldn’t let himself get injured this way, so how did it actually happen? Who did it? He has enough cursed energy to heal it himself, so why didn’t he? Why are you really here, Satoru?
She reached out with both hands while simultaneously standing from her stool, her lab coat catching the air and flying up along with her hair. One of her hands came to Gojo’s cheek but stopped just short of it, moving slower and slower. A small frown appeared on her face before she was finally able to close the distance, her hand resting on his cheek, fingertips and then the soft palm.
“Remember, I’m your friend, Satoru. You’re safe,” Shoko said somberly, her words warmer than usual.
“Yeah. I just… forget to turn it off sometimes.” His eyes dart to hers momentarily and then back to the ground, his face warming at the contact. She begins to bring her other hand up to his chest, pressing her palm firmly against the wounded area before starting her Reverse Cursed Technique. His gaze remains fixed downward, yet he peeks up through his lashes, finding solace in her presence alone. The heaviness he carried into the room wasn’t going away; it felt cold, as though he was hollow at the moment, hardwired to be his usual self on the outside. As the energy begins to surge through him, a sigh escapes his lips, laden with a sense of exhaustion that permeates his entire being. With a slight hesitation, he reaches out, his fingers wrapping around Shoko's wrist, gently guiding her hand away from his chest.
"Could you… just treat it normally?" he requests, his voice carrying a hint of vulnerability beneath the casualty. Shoko hums slightly, looking over at her cigarette as if it’d miraculously light itself again. She didn’t question his request, nor did she say much of anything though she had many thought’s swirling in her mind. She grabs alcohol from a cabinet, along with gauze and medical tape, bringing it back to the tray she’d sat her cigarette in. She sets the materials down gently, but not before moving her cigarette out the way. Meanwhile, Gojo examines the materials himself, his mind drifting back to a time when he could fit into size 4 shoes, when he would bustle around and scrape his knees outdoors like the other kids. He felt a little more human then.
Shoko takes a piece of cotton and douses it in alcohol, the smell stinging their nostrils - sterile yet pungent. As she turns to face Gojo once more, he has a small lighter in his hand, tapping it on his leg to some imaginary beat in his head before looking up at her. “Had a feeling you’d need it, putting up with me,” he mutters with a small chuckle that segues into a slight dry cough. His hand darts halfway to his chest before retreating, avoiding Shoko's notice of his pain. He holds out the lighter, and she palms it back to him. “I will take care of you first. Thank you, though. Genuinely,” she says with a sigh, having sensed something was wrong almost before he reclined on the door when he came in.
The alcohol-drenched cotton approaches the wound and dabs it lightly, accompanied by a violent flinch from Gojo - a human response. “Ack- damn! That… mm.. still stings like hell.” His hand instinctively flies to grab Shoko’s, his teeth clenched at the burn shooting through his chest. Their hands squeeze together tightly as she lets out a small chuckle. “Thought you were the strongest, Satoru?”
His eyes darted up to hers for a moment, glaring through his lashes as his lips pulled into a thin, frustrated line. “Doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt.”
She squeezes his hand a little with a sigh, continuing to clean his wound. Her laughter subsided as quickly as it came. The rest of the time was tense, she could tell he appreciated her presence but the comment she made bothered him to an extent despite it being a joke. He tenses and relaxes, squeezing her hand and holding it tighter whenever the alcohol touches his wound. Finally, she breaks the seemingly endless silence. “Why did you want me to clean this the regular way?”
"Nobody gets to touch the Strongest, right? Gotta remind myself I'm still human somehow," his voice trails off a bit, sounding like it’s going to bottom out when he calls himself the strongest. His head is cocked downward, eyes locked on his lap and the black lighter lined with white and topped off with brown mechanical parts, spinning in his hand.
The process is traditional, slow and quiet. He doesn’t say anything after that and neither does Shoko. When it’s done and he’s all stitched up she steps back, hand sliding out of his easily from all the sweat that’s built up. “You’re done. Feel alright?”
He nods and stands up in front of Shoko, smiling at her faintly, his eyes struggling to maintain liveliness. “Yup. Take the lighter. Compensation for me wasting your time….” he trails off and then starts back up again, “It’s nice to see you, Shoko.” His tone is so foreboding. Almost melancholic, the room eerily cold as his eyes bore into hers kindly. She takes the lighter and he leans down to give her a hug. "Thanks, seriously, what would everyone do without you? You're like the glue holding this whole crazy team together… don’t change, Shoko.”
She smiles genuinely and wraps her arms around his neck, nuzzling into his shoulder. It felt like everything fell into place. They pull away shortly after and he puts his shirt back on before heading towards the door, she flicks the lighter a few times, cigarette already back in her mouth swiftly. He chuckles, sticking up two fingers with his back turned to her to say goodbye. He opens the door, the blinds rustling against the glass of it. “And Shoko.”
“Yeah?” She says a bit muffled as she takes the cigarette out of her mouth.
“You and Suguru always knew how to make me feel…” Some thoughts in his head seem to derail his sentence before he finishes it.
“Hm?”
“That’s all.”
She shrugs her shoulders and gives a hum as an appreciation as he disappears out of the door, “No problem then.”
A few days later she’d find herself hauling half of Gojo’s body back to her examination room as Utahime followed with the other. He knew he’d end up this way, knew Shoko would break down because her limits were clear. She couldn’t fix this much damage. She couldn't look at his face, eyes big and blue, and worst of all, fading. She didn’t seem sad, her face was neutral as she entered her room with a heavy head and even heavier heart. She set the two halves of his body on the table and placed her hands on the bisect where they should have still been connected. She holds her hands steady, pushing cursed energy out over and over again to no avail as Utahime watches, it was a silent downward spiral, one that made time a figment of her imagination. “Come on now Satoru, please wake up.” She mutters, almost an hour later, voice hoarse from having said nothing as she concentrates long and hard on bringing him back. It wasn’t working. Nothing was working. Soon, Utahime grabs her hands, holding them gently as she looks down at Gojo’s severed body. The touch brought her back slightly, pushed the realization on her that she was starting to exhaust and her ability was fizzling out just like Gojo’s faint pulse.
“Utahime, can you.. Use your cursed technique on me? Please, let’s just try it?
Utahime nods. After hours of attempting and silence, seeing his skin rejuvenate without a trace of life, Utahime released her technique, ending the useless efforts. Shoko’s face was full of color, red and moist from exertion followed by the soft panting that slowly segwayed into pained wheezes.
She abruptly releases her technique too and calmly wisps around to grab a whole pack of cigarettes and heads outside to smoke a few. She pulls out the lighter Gojo had gifted her from her back pocket, scrutinizing the array of colors before lighting the cigarette. As she goes to place the lighter back in her pocket, her fingers graze the bottom and she feels something embroidered into it. With immediate curiosity, she flips the lighter over and inspects it briefly, her eyes widening to see S.S.S carved into the bottom. It was the same old rushed, lackluster handwriting that Gojo had. Each ‘S’ was a little jagged in their own way but it was so uniquely him, so recognizably him. A rush of flashbacks from her teenage years flooded her memory, of her on Geto’s back, Gojo yelling some kind of obscenity while they walked through cherry blossom filled roads. It was always all smiles, all canines and obnoxious, warm laughter. Warmth begins to spill down her face, her eyes blurry and muddled with tears that seemingly wouldn’t stop. “Satoru..” She murmurs, her voice light and broken, choked up by her own tears.
“Satoru!” The crack in her voice was evident now, it was like years worth of pent-up emotions in a guttural, raw cry for help from friends that just weren’t around anymore.
“Why do you guys keep… leaving?”

Helloo! My name is Lyla and I like your concept of Dandy! I would like to ask, did anything inspire them? Also, which gender are they? (IMO, they look like a girl to me....😊 but if you think otherwise, that's fine❤)
OH HELLO!!! Thank you I'm so glad that people like Dandy so much, it makes me so so giddy!!! Um, Dandy is inspired by a lot of things! Lots of my personal interests soaked into Dandy when I was designing them.
If you don't mind me rambling a little about Dandy's process, Dandy took me 3 months to make! Give or take at least. And they went through three other revisions before I was happy with their look!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
THESE WERE ALL THREE GOING TO BE DANDY! I was a little directionless when I made these three. I just knew "flowers" and that was...it. But otherwise I was kinda just throwing things at a wall and seeing what sticked. The last one is the closest to what Dandy ended up as but still wasn't quite right! Eventually I had to put these away and make a sort of inspo board, look at colors and clothes and puppets I liked. BUT YES there is one BIG MAIN INSPIRATION that really cemented Dandy's silly look. And it's THIS GUY!
Tumblr media
Boober from Fraggle Rock! Like when I saw him I realized I remembered the show growing up and I just... AUGH it filled me with joy to remember so I picked him up, picked up some color palettes I liked, picked up some clothes images, and ran with it. Eventually they ended up as the little goober we all know today!
Tumblr media
OH RIGHT! GENDER! yes yes um. Dandy is androgynous! On purpose! They're inspired by characters I grew up with, like Crona from Soul Eater, where no one could seem to agree what pronouns to give them. So Dandy is meant to be a character the writers couldn't seem to agree was masculine or feminine so the show and physical illustrations flip flopped between he and she. That is to say, all are correct! Dandy goes by any! I use they/them to try and be consistent but otherwise you may call them what you wish! So you may use she/her when addressing them if you so wish!

And mother is a conventionally attractive white blonde girl with rich parents who dated a highschooler at 23 and can't be an associate with someone who isn't a sex offender/apologist to save her life. Good job.
