A plastic pallet is a rigid structure that provides mechanical stability to a large amount of goods during handling in order to maintain the quality of the goods. Buy Plastic Pallets and handling includes all the activities involved in lifting, moving, stacking, storing, transporting, and transporting goods by land or sea, etc. Plastic pallets are designed so that they can be moved by equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, front loader, etc. Generally, a pallet can be made from metal, plastic, wood, paper, etc. Plastic pallets have several advantages over other materials:
They are lightweight
They are hygienic
They are cost-effective
They are standardized
They comply with the regulations of governing organizations in a particular region
They eliminate wasted time and inconvenience in transferring goods to
Why Buy for Plastic Pallets?
Excellent Contamination and Corrosion Resistance
The integrity to buy plastic pallets remains intact when it comes into contact with spills, contamination and moisture. It does not corrode easily. Once it becomes dirty or contaminated, it is easy to clean it and sanitize it. This prolongs the service life of the pallet. Plastic pallets are well-suited for handling of drums and containers that contain acids, fuels and solvents as well as raw meat and dairy products.
Lightweight
When compared to wooden or metal pallets, the weight of a plastic pallet is much lower. This makes it easier to move from one place to another. Since weight is a major issue during shipping, especially in the case of airfreight shipments, plastic pallets incur less transportation cost in all modes of transport.
Durable
The plastic pallets are usually made in one solid piece and have seamless connections between the components. This is due to the fact that they are produced in the molding process, and the weak spots in the pallet are eliminated by the use of mechanical fasteners such as screws and nails. As a result, the pallet has long service life.
Types of Plastic Pallets
High-density polyethylene pallets
They are the most versatile, cost-effective, and durable Plastic Pallets for Sale in the market today. Unlike wooden pallets, they can be re-used multiple times throughout the supply chain and can withstand many shipping cycles and long service lifespans in retail, factory, and warehouse settings before they deteriorate.
Polypropylene Pallets
The second most common type of plastic pallet is polypropylene pallets (PP). Unlike HDPE, PP is more rigid and strong than HDPE and is extremely resistant to forklift or pallet jack damage. However, PP pallets are more expensive.
Polyolefin Pallets
They are durable, strong, impact-resistant, fire-resistant, and corrosion-resistant. Their dimensional stability is high, and they have a high strength to weight ratio. Their surface is impermeable to moisture, liquids and gases. They are recyclable and low-cost.
Fiberglass Pallets
They are made from a mixture of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), and cellulose, but they are fragile, difficult to mould, and moisture-sensitive. They can be used as one-way or one-time export pallets, or they can be used as moisture-free pallets during transportation and storage. I didn't want to clown on the gift donation for kids post and this might be a little late anyway, but if you're going to donate art supplies, or even give some to kids in your family, please think twice before getting those art kits that come with everything, even the ones that do come in fancy wooden boxes. They're almost always terrible in quality and even as a little kid you end up feeling frustrated by them and feel like you're the one doing something wrong or you don't have talent or something.
I get it, they're usually cheaper than buying even student grade supplies individually, but I remember getting one of the fancy wooden box ones at like thirteen then after a while getting (secretly, as to not upset the person who got me it that Christmas) because I felt I wasn't good enough at art to warrant such a gift because I couldn't get the pencils or watercolors or oil pastels to behave like how the books and videos told me they would behave. And even getting the plastic box ones as an even younger kid left me feeling frustrated. Because the kit ones are all full of cheap filler and less pigment as a cost cutting measure. And the paper that came with it was no better than printer paper so the watercolors disintegrated it.
Anyway I'm not saying you have to buy a one hundred dollar professional set of paint or something. And even student grade does add up. But a decent sketchbook (I recommend Canson XL Mixed Media, because not only is it cheap but the paper is great and there's like sixty sheets it), and maybe just one type of art supply instead of buying a whole studio's worth. Decent sets of artist pencils of different lead types are easy to come by. Or even just a few tubes of primary colors acrylic paints (I've been using Arteza acrylics and I like them a lot), or a box of decent oil pastels or a small watercolor pallet. And you can find decent brushes, even in packet sets, just make sure they're the right kind for the paints you're getting (and there are mixed media brushes too) Avoid at all costs the Crayola brushes with the thick plasticity bristles that are the bane of children everywhere tho.
TL;DR honestly, if you have the chance to know what the child likes in art supplies, just get them a decent set of that instead of one of the frustrating art kits that give you everything but for a lesser quality
(ALSO: make sure art supplies geared to younger kids are nontoxic, and if giving to an older kid who knows not to drink the paint water, make sure they know if there's anything toxic even still. This isn't too much of a worry these days unless you're getting really expensive pro stuff, but look out for warnings anyway)

KINKTOBER 2023 / Day Twenty Eight
( Will ‘Ironhead’ Miller x F!Reader )
CUCKOLDING / APHRODISIACS / TEMPERATURE PLAY
Summary: Will suggests you both try a tasty aphrodisiac, things are guaranteed to get messy.
Day Twenty Eight of @absurdthirst's Kinktober
Rating: Mature 18+
Warnings: Language, a lot of food talk, food play, licking, biting, teasing, brief oral - female receiving, dry humping, no use of Y/N
Word Count: 2k
Tumblr media
“So, what have you got planned for tonight?”
“Who says I’ve planned anything?”
Your eyes narrowed, Will doesn’t plan specifically for that night but usually, he has something up his sleeve. He rests his elbows on the countertop, matching your stance to wind you up a little. You cock your head to the side and bat your eyelids.
“How can I deny that look?” He chuckles, “I thought we’d try some natural aphrodisiacs, could get messy though.”
Your stomach does a somersault.
“It’s not the powder is it?”
That night with Frankie and Santiago was enough to put you off the stuff even if it was all good fun. You felt the after effects for days.
“I couldn’t possibly do that to you, sweetheart. My suggestion is a lot more tasty.”
The corner of your lips curl as he steps away from the breakfast bar and heads to the fridge. Opening the door, you hear the crumpling of a plastic container before other food stuff was placed on top.
When he turns round, you know exactly what he’s thinking. He puts the pallet of strawberries and dark chocolate on the counter in front of you.
“Do you know how to melt chocolate without burning it?”
“I looked it up online,” he shrugs, “but I did get squirt chocolate just in case.”
Oh yes, things were going to get messy.
You offer to help him melt the chocolate, the instructions he found were intended for a microwave but you saw it best to use the stovetop. It’s easier to burn in the microwave, at least this way you can keep an eye on it.
He dumped a huge bag of chocolate chips into a pyrex bowl and placed it on top of a pan of boiling water. He gently folded it, his large hand wrapped around a spoon, until it became a smooth, glossy liquid.
“Ok, grab the strawberries,” he said.
You’d washed them and presented them in a bowl to make them seem romantic and followed him to the bedroom.
“I don’t think that blanket will survive chocolate,” your brows knot.
“It’ll be fine, Bunny.”
He’d happily buy a new one anyway, to match his sheets better. He spreads it out so it covers the bed and rests the hot bowl, taking the tea towel back to the kitchen. You switch on the lamps and put the strawberries down.
When he comes into the room, he switches off the main light.
“Better take those clothes off,” he smiles knowingly.
“Even the underwear?”
“Even the underwear.”
Naked, the pair of you climb onto the bed. He stretches onto his side, propping himself up on his elbow and you sit on your legs near him. The bowls were balanced precariously in the middle. Your eyes explore how the light hits his body, light shadows casting under his abdominals leading towards the v shape forming between his hips, his flaccid cock.
“You’re already distracted.”
Your attention comes back to his face, his expression soft.
The temperature in your cheeks rises.
“Do you want any of these delicious looking strawberries or—“
“No, I do,” your mouth was watering but not from the fruit.
He always thought it was cute when you got flustered, the embarrassment spreading to your flushed chest.
Taking the biggest strawberry, he dipped it in the chocolate and twisted to stop it from dripping. He brought it to your lips and you opened your mouth before sinking your teeth into the juicy fruit. The sweetness of the chocolate took away the sharpness, blending it into a satisfying taste. It took over your tastebuds and you hummed as you swallowed.
“Thought you’d like it,” he said, dipping it again, bringing it back to your mouth for you to finish.
“I better not be eating all of these myself.”
“I’ll have a couple.”
You return the favour except Will has the capability to eliminate the strawberry in one bite.
“It’s no fun if you do that,” you sigh.
“I much prefer watching your mouth around it.”
You fumble and drop an entire berry in the mixture, “I’m not scooping that out.”
The two of you continue until he refuses and feeds you a few more. His once smooth motions become sloppy, purposefully smothering the berry in chocolate and smearing it over your lips.
“Only one more,” you say, gesturing a hand, “I’ve already had too much.”
He nods, dipping the last strawberry, submerging it so it’s fully covered. Bringing it to your lips, he pulls it away and you pout, your attempt to chase it failing.
“Here.”
He holds his hand steady and when you’re millimetres away, he draws it along your cheek.
“Will!”
The strawberry is shoved into your mouth before you have the chance to argue. You talk as you chew.
“You did that on purpose.”
“Maybe I did.”
He waits for you to finish before stretching, his face coming to yours. His tongue licks the chocolate from your cheek then he kisses your lips. You blink when he moves away from you, your lips parted in surprise.
He dips two fingers into the bowl, “It would be a shame to waste all this chocolate.”
You open your mouth to him as he slips in the fingers, wrapping your lips around the thick digits. Your tongue rolls and twists as you suckle softly, making sure you take all the sweet coating. His fingers pop from your mouth.
“You trust me?”
You smile coyly, “Of course.”
Straightening up, he reaches for his bedside table and opens a draw. He pulls out a silky ribbon, wide enough to cover your eyes and shuffles behind you to tie it on. It wraps around your head three times, your fingers hovering incase it needs to be held in place yet it doesn’t. You feel the knot tighten, bunching up your hair as he double binds it.
“Can you see anything?”
You shake your head, all that was in your vision was the colour pink.
“Promise.”
You nod as he takes your hand and kisses your palm. He moves in front of you, fingertips skimming your legs and stomach before he speaks again.
“Lay back.”
You lean, hands planted on the mattress as you unfurl your legs from beneath you. Carefully, you rest your upper body to the bed and spread yourself out, toes accidentally poking him as you did so. You breath deeply, trying to focus on the bed, on him.
“I’m ready,” you call out.
He coats his two fingers and thumb before spreading the chocolate over your lips with his thumb, you happily accept it. Once you’ve licked most of it off, he draws down your neck, feeling your vein pump underneath the skin. He stops as he reaches your collar bone, leaning back to admire his work. Licking his lips, he settles his hands either side of your head, dropping his face gradually.
His hot breath dances across your neck and your breath stutters.
He presses his tongue flat and licks over your collarbone, lapping up the sweetness all the way up to your jaw. You moan, tipping your head so he could get underneath. He kisses your jawline before lifting himself up again, arm lengthening to grab the edge of the pyrex bowl.
Mixing the liquid with the spoon, he gathers as much as he can.
He lifts his legs, placing them on the outside of yours and look down on your relaxed frame. He tips the spoon above you, studying as the chocolate begins to fall on your skin.
The initial droplet makes you flinch.
Shaking the piece of cutlery, he decorates your body in line of chocolate from your chest to your belly button. He admits it goes everywhere, some of it spraying on his thighs, others blobbing on your mound, along your bikini line.
Once he’s done with that, he discards the spoon and scoop with his fingers. He smears some around the curve of your breasts and over your nipples, a couple of brushes on your thighs. You feel two fingers cover your lips in chocolate and hear the slurp as he cleans his own fingers. He doesn’t tell you this but you assume you’re not allowed to lick it yourself.
He starts at the bottom.
His hands come down to your legs as he draws up with his nose. He flattens his tongue as he runs up your thigh, feeling you shiver, your breath hitching. When he reaches the crease between your hip and leg, he nips with his teeth before quickly soothing with his tongue. Then he repeats the action on the other side.
He notched the tip of his nose against your clit as he licked your folds. You shiver, your arousal pooling on his tongue and you feel him smile as your legs close around his frame.
As he pulls back, you wriggle your hips, desperate to get him back.
“Please, just a little more.”
He shakes his head, tutting before moving onto the droplets either side of the long strip. You moan as you welcome his lips back to your body, even if it’s not at your wet pussy. He swiftly took away the chocolate with the point of his tongue, grazing softly with teeth.
You couldn’t stop thinking about what your view would look like if you weren’t blindfolded. The flecks of platinum blonde in his crown, the muscles working on his broad shoulders as he brings himself close, arms holding him steady. And as he continues to lick and bite, your every honeyed noise would make his cock twitch and grow.
Your belly was getting warm.
Once you’re clean around the edges, he goes to your stomach, laying his tongue flat above your belly button. He drags it up bit by bit, not rushing, savouring the taste as you arch your back for him to take. Flicking his tongue up at your chest, he goes back to the bottom to start over, making sure he gets as much off as he can.
Next, he moves onto your breast, tucking under the curve to get the chocolate there before focusing on the nipples. Using the tip of the tongue, he circles the edge, nudging the mini metal balls that make your nipples go puffy. He takes one in his mouth and sucks gently, hearing the sigh escape from your lips as your head tips backwards.
He nips you just for good measure, your one hand running through his hair, tugging lightly.
Moving to the other, he does the same thing but when he bares his teeth, he nibbles before biting harder.
“Fuck,” you hiss, pulling his hair to match his strength.
He soothes with his tongue and mouth, popping your nipple from his mouth. Removing your hand from his head, he lay it down to the mattress as he straightened up to admire the view.
Your chest was beginning to rise and fall more frequently, skin shiny from his saliva and the corner of his lips curl when he notices the chocolate still on your lips. He expected you to lick it off ages ago, that sweet tooth of yours making it hard to resist, he was impressed.
Taking your ankles, he hooks them over his waist before returning to you, pushing his crotch into your mound. His cock is heavy, hot as he ruts into your folds, his length brushing on your sensitive bundle of nerves. You whine, ankles locking to bring him closer, seeking the friction to satisfy for building desire.
He returned his hands either side of you, stopping his hips as he hovered his face in front of yours. He can hear how shaky your breath is, see your throat bob as you swallow in anticipation, his breath dancing over your cheeks.
Sinking down, he slotted his lips to yours, the chocolate smearing over your cupid’s bow and catching in his whiskers. Your tongues both fight for dominance, licking the sweet treat from each other’s faces. His tongue forced it’s way into your mouth. He starting to roll his hips and caught your thick groan.
As he began to pull back, he sunk his teeth into your bottom lip, sucking hard for that last sugary hit.
Your lips were prickling.
He moved away from you when you chased his lips, hips halted and you heard him chuckle wickedly as he crept further away.
You scream through gritted teeth, throwing your head back as your fingernails buried into the covers.
“Will, please, just fuck me already.”
Will laughed, chocolates and strawberries really were aphrodisiacs.

You see a man roll up to the register at a bookstore with a pallet of books, wrapped up in plastic as is typical for shipping. You read one of the spines. It says "The Complete Argumate, Vol. 27 of 256".
As the man finishes checking out, you tap him gently on the shoulder.
"Excuse me," you say, "I just wanted to know who would buy the entire collection of @argumate posts."
"Who?" says the man.
His head begins to turn, his chin crossing over his shoulder disorientingly as if his head could swivel all the way around. "Who?!" His eyes are too round and large. His nose juts out of his face pointed and sharp, like a beak.
"WHO, INDEED!" he says, outraged.
He walks away from you swiftly and with force, his head facing back towards you as he pulls the pallet, until he knocks over a stroller, causing a dispute.
Embarrassed, you use the commotion to escape.

So Thomas is in need of using hats for the sides. While it is a neat idea to basically go haywire buying a bunch of new side specific hats (minus Janus), it would also make sense if the team wants to work strictly with hats that they have at their ready. I think these hats that he's worn previously would be the best. To fill the roll he needs them to.
Casual Patton's sunflower floppy hat:
Tumblr media
The hat having hints of beige, a color that is part of Patton's already existing color pallet.
Logan's Sherlock hat:
Tumblr media
It feels self explanatory, even if it feels a bit much in contrast to his modern wardrobe.
Virgil should just wear the beanie he wore while shapeshifted as Joan.:
Tumblr media
(My only exception to this is Roman and Remus solely because I don't think Thomas has the right hats for them and would need to by them... aka those plastic royalty crowns you can get at party stores. Get two, pop the jewels off of one and spray paint it silver then super glue the jewels back on. If that isnt enough coverage then superglue some cloth in a bowl shape to the inside section so that way theres a section for Thomas's head to fit inside.)

Okay so Costco was a time but I called my sister about it and now I'm like...it was fine I guess.
It's strange. Yes everything is big and there's the biggest fucking TVs I've ever seen as well as fresh fruit and Xmas ornaments and frozen fish and a whole isle of soda but the strangest thing to me (after the freaking....inflatable pool slide hanging from the ceiling which when I was in the central open part of the store felt like it was hunting me) was the organisation. There are general sections such as Food and Tech but....there's candles next to kitchen bench top appliances, snacks seem to be spread across different Isles and then also some in the central island where the clothes are. There are several freezer locations that are separate from each other and not necessarily related to whatever else in the isle. The Isles are BARELY 2 trolleys wide. With such huge trolleys turning a corner is difficult but there is not a lot of room to turn if someone is already in the isle you're turning into. No check out lines. It was just a crowd. which I hated. The car park also did not think so much about flow of traffic and while it was relatively quiet for us it was easy to see how it would be a nightmare if busier.
My friend who has a membership told me they don't have the same stuff every time??? So you're getting your once a year dishwashing liquid bucket or whatever and next time they might not have the same brand or flavour? Also this could have been a person I went with thing but things seem to move. There was one kind of seaweed snack but we were looking for a different one and we found it on a pallet near dogfood which is not normally where it lives??
There were the biggest bags of chips I'd ever seen in my life and literal tin buckets of ghee but many Big Things were actually just normal large size but they are packaged in 2 or 4s so you cannot buy 1 4litre bottle of vinegar you must buy a box of 4. The bakery onsite was surprising but as one woman who lives a lot I could not buy 26 mini pan au Chocolat for 10 dollars even though they smelled very yummy. You can order birthday cakes with lettering. They didn't even have full coffins/caskets just end pieces to show the finish/shape but they all looked cheap nasty plastic as heck. One was called the Nixon coffin which I thought was funny for tenuous reasons. Did he get buried in one like it? Was it his favourite? Do people buried in this have some semblance to him?
I got a bag of freeze dried fruit (peaches, lychees and strawberries) to share with my friend as office snacks. 100g for 15 dollars is expensive but freeze dried fruit are very light so it should go a long way. My friend also bought some mangosteen juice to try.
I stared longingly at large slabs of paneer and fior de late. Also at the 15 cents cheaper than average fuel prices. Not sure I'd go enough to actually make any savings (fuel alone would probably get my money back, but I live alone so can't buy much in bulk as a way to save). Also many things just didn't seem That Cheap. Many pantry staples were just the normalish price scaled up, like rice. Some things were cheap (6 tubes of miso ramen flavoured Pringles for 10 dollars for example) but they were often somewhat novelty so you are buying A LOT with the risk you don't like it.

Sometimes, I think about what the world would be like if we got rid of single-use plastic entirely, except for medical devices.
Because of course there are the obvious things like takeout containers, shopping bags, and bottles, but then I start thinking about all the other things that come in plastic containers.
No more plastic bags for cereal, breads, or snack foods. This would greatly reduce the shelf-life of these items. Would there be a different kind of packaging developed to keep up the shelf-life, or would we just accept that you can't buy a box of crackers and keep it for three months before eating it?
No more plastic bags or shrink-wrap for frozen foods. This is actually a big one. Stuff that isn't sealed in an airtight container gets freezer-burned quickly. Would we see a decrease in frozen meals? A return to canned or bottled goods?
No plastic blister packs or baggies for...basically everything. Manufacturers love to use clear plastic packaging for stuff, because it lets people see the item before they buy it and easily prevents damage. Before plastic packaging became common, way more things came in cardboard boxes, tins, or were just sold without packaging.
An end to pallet-wrapping in shipping. No idea what the logistics of this were before plastic pallet wrapping, but this one is huge because of the sheer amount of it that's used when shipping goods around the world. Also bubble wrap, styrofoam, etc.
Packing tape and scotch tape are both made of plastic. So are ballpoint pens and markers, lots of bottles you wouldn't think of, like the ones for white-out, ink, and (depending on how broadly we define "single-use") those ubiquitous mechanical pencils.
I don't think any of this is a good reason not to get rid of single-use plastic. In fact, outside of medical devices, that's probably something we should be trying to do. It's just interesting to think about what sorts of things would change in our daily lives if we did.

Persona 5
Tumblr media
Character(s): Ann
Genre: Fluff
Type: Oneshot
Description: Getting ready for Halloween with your best friend can sometimes take an unexpected turn
Warning(s): WLW & NBLW, Reader is Female and Non-Binary(Pronouns are Not Mentioned Though), Reader Wears Makeup, 2k Words
I'm so happy I finished this writing dkfnsk I love it sm and now I can finally share it! Very much am gay for Ann, I literally have to romance her every playthrough no matter what-
This is made for Lumii's collab event on @leblancc btw!
Tumblr media
The air became crisp the later it got, settling upon your nose in a ticklish way - daring you to sneeze ungraciously. Yet the sensation always managed to leave right as you nestled your face into your elbow.
"I can close the window?" Ann's shoulders shook as she contained a laugh, her voice dancing in a playful tone. She tugged her tights over her knees while she awaited your response, her soft hair falling over her shoulder when she leaned forward. "I'd appreciate that." You moved your eyes to the candles she lit earlier as she stood, allowing her privacy while she shimmied the opaque fabric to her waist. "Thanks, Ann." A hum lifted from her throat when she passed by, only responding once she had her hands on the rail, "Of course-" A grunt slipped past her lips as she pushed the window to a close, "I don't wanna have to bring you snacks when you get sick." A laugh bubbled from your throat, "Last I checked, you were the one to get sick~" Giggling into a light scoff, she latches the lock and spins to gaze at you, "That's because I gave you my umbrella!" You couldn't help but bite your lip in an attempt to hide your amusement. Her eyes seemed to shine as she watched you fidget with the strained giggles, a soft sigh leaving her when her back hit the casing of the window. It was a few moments before you noticed that her eyes were on you and, as you caught your breath, it was almost like she hadn't been looking at you at all - pushing off the window to move to her drawers.
"So, are we going full on face paint or heavy makeup?" Pursing your lips, you give yourself a second to think about it. "Um...probably just heavy makeup? Just with glitter on the eyes and stuff." Her nose scrunched, "You remembered the glitter?" You leaned back in her black chair, lifting a hand to your collarbone, "Why, of course!" You earned a few scoffed chuckles with your extravagance. Ann pulled a few boxes from the plastic dresser, one large, one medium, and one small. "The tiny container has all my lashes. I have traditional glue on ones and ones that are magnetic with eyeliner!" You observed as she approached her standing mirror, coming to a stand beside you before lowering herself to the floor. When she was done she shifted the boxes in her arms and brought them to floor between your chair and the mirror. "Could you help me with my makeup?"
"Yeah! I'll do mine real quick and then I'll help with yours." Ann beamed, popping open the lid on the large box. It was filled with a plethora of eyeshadow pallets, blush pans, and eyeliner. Each of them varied in color, from vibrant to more natural shades. You couldn't help but notice she lacked foundation. "My skin breaks out when I use foundation so I stopped buying it a while ago." She opened the medium box next whilst explaining, pulling concealer from a section of lip gloss and lipsticks. There was barely anything else in it, just two sticks of mascara and two eyelash curlers. "You can do whatever you know how to, by the way." She titled her head, showing her smile before gesturing to her containers, "Reach in and grab whatever!"
You went for the unused mascara and curler once Ann grabbed everything she needed. The cold surfaces sent a jolt through your fingers when you touched them, but you paid it no mind. It was October, everything was freezing - poor makeup. Glancing at your friend, you couldn't help but watch as she dotted concealer beneath her eyes. She brought a finger to one side, swiping and spreading the liquid over what little circles she had before doing the same on the other side. It evened out her skin tone, hiding the little imperfection for anyone who looked for it. Though you wouldn't call anything about Ann imperfect, she was just...amazing. And she thought you were too, so hey.
You contemplated the curler before grabbing one of Ann's handheld mirrors. Finally, you raised the metal contraption to your lashes, carefully positioning them between the clamps. With a gentle pinch, you hold the cool metal in place for a few seconds, taking the tube of mascara in your free hand. You placed it between your knees and twisted the cap until it came off. A few moments later, you released your lashes from the curler and brought the mascara wand to them, coating them in black. You repeated your actions on the other eye while Ann applied pink eyeshadow. It was a vibrant shimmer, leaning more towards red than actual pink. Her hand was shaky when she applied pressure, though it didn't hinder her movements. With a shift you set the mirror on your lap, handing off the mascara and curler to her when she finished. "Oops, I'm kinda in the way of the boxes, aren't I?" Her laugh was soft, breathy, and her fingers were warm against your skin when she took the makeup from your hands. "A little, but that's okay."
It was a few more minutes until Ann finished up, the glitter giving her far more grief than intended, but she had turned on some music to fill the air. Her playlist was always lovely to listen to, going from pop to rnb - she even had some alternative tracks here and there. It was hard to get tired of it when there was so much variety, she updated it often too. "Annnd...done!" Her voice almost sung the words, cheery and angelically pitched. She scooted back a little, pulling the boxes with her, "Do you wanna do lashes?" Humming, you cross your ankles, "Can we do magnetic ones?" Clapping her hands together, she beams, "Yeah! It's so nice 'cause we can get eyeliner done too." She rummaged through her lash bin, finding ones that were magnetic and not too heavy. A small 'woo' left her once she found the eyeliner that came with the lashes, raising it in victory wave before shuffling between your legs on her knees. She uncapped the eyeliner and leaned up to reach your face, "Try to stay still, okay?" You unhooked your ankles to allow her closer, humming once again. Her right hand was slow to rest on your cheekbone, her left coming to hold your jaw with a firm grip. The ink was cool against your lid, but it glided across as if your skin was glass. That was no doubt because of Ann knowing what she was doing, having done her own makeup on shoots, though it was no less impressive. She ended it in a small wing and filled it in slightly before moving onto your other eye. "You're doing great for someone who doesn't do makeup." It was a little tease, the lift in her tone obvious. "I've tried it out a little, dummy." She hummed, "Mhm, mhm- maybe we should practice more so you can try out some looks." The lashes were a bit of a pain, tickling your skin and stabbing your eyelid ever so slightly, but once she was done, they were perfect.
Soon there after, she gave glitter another go, tapping glue on your dolled up lid and carefully placing the sparkly chunks onto it before it dried. And even though she was rushing, she only got one speck on your lashes. "No. More. Glitter." Giggling, you nod and match her tone, "Never again." She gave a laugh as she tucked the glitter and glue away, "So! You want gloss or classic lipstick?" She was going to apply lipstick? "You know I can do that myself, right?" There was a little hum she sang behind her lips before she properly replied, "Yeah, I just want to - it's not often I get to do your makeup, you grouch." She threw you a wink while she dug out a few glosses and lipsticks. "Pfft, I'll take gloss, thanks." You watched as she placed the lipsticks back, her fingers shifting to fit each one into the little cubby. Surprisingly, she had way more glosses - though she does sport a pink one normally so maybe it wasn't that shocking. There were some shimmer and matte glosses, but she also had a few glitter ones. "Yes! I still have it!" Your eyes found hers at her exclamation. "I was looking for one that matched the glitter on your eyes and thankfully~ I kept it even though I didn't like it..!" Her hands clapped together as an ad began playing, "This is gonna look perfect, (Y/n)!"
She came close again, nestling herself against your thighs. "I don't doubt that when you're the one doing it." You couldn't help but laugh when she slapped your arm, loving the way her eyes softened. "Pshh, come here-" Her hand was warm as it came to rest on your jaw. She tucked her bottom between her teeth when she placed the applicator against your lips, focusing harder than she needed to. There was a slight twitch of your lips, the start of a smile, when she slipped. Red had painted your chin, the gloss feeling a little gooey now that it was off your lips, but all you could focus on was her huffs of feigned annoyance. "Why are your clothes so slippery!" A gasp jumped from your throat when she pinched the skin on your cheek, flinching despite your hearty laugh. "I thought we agreed to wear non-slip clothing." You rose your brow, "When?" There were a few moments of silence before she tore her gaze to the side. "...it was a silent agreement." The curl of her lips was more than just endearing to you, even as you both laughed all that came to mind was her little quirks and mannerisms and how cute they were. How she'd grip her jacket when she tried to hide her laugh and how she always bounced at the mention of yummy sweets...she was authentically herself even when things got tough too.
You leaned forward slightly, halting when her eyes met your own. Her eyes flicked down quickly when you began talking. "I'll remember to give you mercy next time." Your chest felt tight as you breathed, "Slippery clothing shall be gone!" A smile danced upon your lips and soon one came to rest on hers. "As it should be!" She squinted at you before softly laughing. "...Ann?" Her eyes flicked down again, but they still met your own. Somehow, that made it harder to breathe. "...yeah?" She spoke delicately, her voice almost too quiet to hear over the music. "Can I..." You pressed your lips together before pinching your bottom lip between your teeth, glancing away. She leaned forward a little. You didn't know if she meant to or not. "Can I kiss you?" Her response was immediate. "Yeah.." It didn't take much to connect your lips, but it hadn't lasted long. "Your hands are freezing!" Ann had pulled back like she was dunked with a bucket of water when your hands cupped her cheeks. "Annn.." A whine left you as you pouted just slightly. "Seriously, how can someone be this cold?" She took your hands in hers and raised them to her face. Her lips pressed to your hands before she could think better of it. "Oh, I forgot I was wearing- wait, I wasn't wearing lip gloss.." It was difficult to burying your laughter. "It's mine, Ann." Her face was graced by a soft red, looking a little pink with her complexion. "Ah." She let her body slink to the ground and her head came to rest on your thigh. "I love you.." You said it softly. "I wove you toh." A laugh jumped from your chest, her voice having been muffled. She laughed too, lifting her head to peer up at you.
Despite the mishaps, you knew Halloween was going to be great. Especially with Ann's hand in your own.

First things first, thanks @gumnut-logic for posting the challenge. I hardly ever do any art, but I wanted to take up the challenge because a limited colour pallete means I don't have to make it look super realistic (right?).
I need to explain that I buy lots of art supplies, but I basically never even break them out of the packaging! This "artwork" represents the first time these soft pastels have been removed from their box. And the canvas I used has been sitting in its plastic wrap on a shelf for possibly a decade or more - it has some water damage or something on the corner, and some weird white spots?
Anyway, here's what I started with
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(the paper the pastels are sitting on has some pre-canvas experimentation on it!
And the end result (although I think I'm just calling it finished because I don't think it'll ever get any better!).
Tumblr media
I am not overly happy with it, but I am content that I learned things in the process!
I do have a photo that I was using as a reference - yes this is an abstract depiction of an actual sunset I photographed about a year ago!

unique perk: parts and services 'you've been working with machines since you could get your hands on the tools.' when repairing a generator, the following effects apply: ∙ before the generator has been repaired by 20 %, michael can activate this perk to set off a false explosion, notifying the killer. the generator is not damaged and does not regress in this state. ∙ every successful check after 20 % total repair speeds up repair progression by 5/10/15 %; this effect stacks with additional players and is only reliant on michael successfully completing his checks, but is lost if michael disengages from the generator. ∙ a failed check after 20 % halts repair progress for 5/7/10 seconds and will cause michael to cough loudly for 5/7/10 seconds.
unique perk: adrenaline junkie 'workout suggestions? run five miles. run faster. take a self-defense class.' ∙ after successfully stunning the killer with a pallet, sprint speed is increased to 125 % of michael's normal running movement speed for 3/5/7 seconds. ∙ causes the exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds. adrenaline junkie cannot be used when exhausted. ∙ when in an injured, dying, or deep wound state, the exhaustion status penalty will be reduced to 55/45/35 seconds.
unique perk: door master 'i also want to emphasise the importance of using your door lights.' once the exit gates are powered, this perk activates. ∙ when opening an exit gate, michael can rig the gate to jam if the killer attempts to trigger a collapse. ∙ this can only be used on one gate, and chances of the gate jamming begin at 100 % with 0 % opening progress, but decrease by 20 % for every 25 % of opening progress made. ∙ additionally, there is a 30/20/10 % chance of the gate jamming if a survivor attempts to open the rigged gate.

Chapter 10: The bazaar.
Tumblr media
-In which the daughter of the Lord of Darkness who was born with the sole purpose of destroying the universe falls in love with Peter Parker.-
Masterlist.
----------------------------------
It was the end of Sharad and the start of Shishir, the coldest months of the year, well at least in Nepal, where the usual high temperature turns chillier, but at the moment Carina's robes were enough to cover her from the changing winds as she walks the streets of Kathmandu with Stephen Strange, who naturally likes to doubt Carina's sense of direction and knowledge.
"Are you sure we're not going to get lost?" He asked for the fifth time since they had left the sanctum.
Suppressing an eye roll, Carina yawned tiredly while nodding her head, again. "I've walked these streets my entire life, Stephen, have some trust."
"I'm just being cautious, I just happen to know some people around here are not the nicest." He told her, eyes observing the streets.
"Stephen, there are bad apples everywhere in the world," Carina said, as she stopped to give a praying old woman an apple and a few coins. "But we must not be afraid, instead we should have courage and be kind."
"Who told you that one? Let me guess, The Ancient One?"
Carina shook her head, grinning up at him. "Nope, Cinderella."
"... Right," Stephen scoffs a laugh.
Thankfully, they arrived quickly and without trouble at Asan, the historic bazaar, where you can buy anything from spices to textiles, bullions, electronics and food items. The market colours were vivid and bright, which was always enticing for Carina no matter how many times she walked about the same streets.
Stephen and Carina walk past a variety of merchandise and a diverse range of products through the mass of people, a familiar woman, Chaha, caught her eye, she's the one Carina usually goes to buy her paintings, but before she turns to Stephen whose eyes were roaming around the colourful streets.
"Okay, there's a place just down the street to buy your razor, and anything else if you need," She informed him, pointing at the one store on the kiosk. "Just tell him you're from the Kamar-Taj when you get everything you need."
Stephen nods, glancing at the little store before looking down at her. "Where are you going to be?"
"Just buying a few paintings, don't worry you'll be fine, I won't be gone long." She teased him before a yawn broke out of her making her cover her mouth.
"Alright, I'm leaving." Stephen rolled his eyes, before beginning to walk away without another word leaving Carina to walk towards the shop of paintings.
"Namaste, Chaha-ji," Carina greeted the woman with a smile who smiled back. "तपाईंलाईकस्तोछ?"
"म ठिक छु, तपाईंलाई कस्तो छ?" She said, greeting her back
Carina nodded. "म ठिक छु, I'm here to buy more paintings."
"Of course, what colours you want today?" said the woman, "I have new colours, see..."
Chaha showed her plenty of 'new colours', which were the same old colour but more pigmented, Carina ended up buying the same pallet of colours as always, a new brush and a brand new sketchbook, which was much needed.
She bid the woman goodbye before going to search for Stephen, smiling at a few people she knew from her previous visit here and there.
"I'm telling you, I'm with the Kamar-Taj." Carina heard him before she arrived. Stephen was annoyed.
"No, no you pay." said the owner of the shop.
Stephen sighs. "You're not listening to me– "
"शुभ - प्रभात," Carina entered the shop, Stephen did look indeed annoyed but a quick relief passed through his eyes when he saw her. "यो मान्छे मालिकहरूको भाग हो, उसले तपाईंलाई तिर्नु पर्दैन, सर."
The man made a noise in the back of his throat, "मैले उसलाई पहिले वरिपरि देखेको छैन."
"ऊ नयाँ छ, अब मलाई रेजर दिनुहोस्," She nudges her head at the things on the counter with a tight smile.
He sighs taking a plastic Bach from under the table and placing the stuff inside it. The man gave Stephen the plastic bag with a curious look, who took it with narrow eyes. "Thank you."
"धन्यवाद." Carina repeated, before leaving the store with Stephen following her.
"Talk about stubborn." Stephen rolled his eyes, huffing. "I told him five times that I was part of the students,"
"He said he hadn't seen you before, he was just cautious," Carina told him,
"How many people does he get wearing old robes and telling him they're from the sanctum?" He scoffs, a sarcastic end to his words.
Carina shrugged, "It's not a secret the temple pays a few stores for the exchange of goods, some people take advantage of that, not to mention that beard of yours didn't help."
"Funny." He deadpanned,  "And what was I supposed to do? Show him my certificate of the sanctum or something?"
"It's neither of your faults, but now he will remember your face if you ever go back..."
Carina's eyes travel through the shops, lighting when she smelled the familiar scent.
"That'll be a hard pass–"
She grabbed Stephen's sleeve and pushed through the crowd, avoiding a few bikes on the way ignoring the man's protest and questioning.
"This is the best Chana Chatpate, and you are going to try it," Carina said, doing a short line to buy two portions.
Stephen sighs in defeat and nods. "You could have just said you wanted to come here instead of dragging me all the way."
Carina yawned, rolling her eyes. "Stop complaining, I'm hungry."
There were another two people on the line when her eyes caught the pretties pink bag she had ever seen. She turns to Stephen muttering a quick. "Stay here, I'll be back soon."
Without waiting for his response, she made a beeline to the store, which was showcasing soft silks, pretty bangles, woollen garments, artefacts and a few other things, the list is truly endless. The shop was not part of the list the sanctum paid to, meaning she needed to use her emergency money.
She approached the owner and asked. "यो झोला कति हो?" Pointing at the pink flowery bag.
The man told her the total, adding that it was a good quality bag, and that it was fashionable for young girls. Carina doubt it was, as it looked quite old, but she liked it nonetheless. It was a bit pricey but she could get it if she abstain from buying her chatpate, which she had to pay for as street food was also not on the list.
Other than the paintings, Carina never buys anything for herself, when she visits with the ancient one it was usually a quick visit as the woman was a busy person, and when she comes with Wong, he's usually telling her that 'attachment from the material is detachment from the spiritual, so she doesn't even look at anything else, but now, she's with Stephen who she was sure couldn't care less if she does buy it or not.
"ठिकै छ."  She told the man, giving him the money.
When she had a hold of the pink bag, she felt a rush of excitement, a giddy feeling. It was definitely worth it, buying something for herself was so gratifying, that even her hunger went away.
Skipping back to where Stephen was making line, she got there just in time as the last person left with their food. She motions the worker for just one portion before paying, using the last of her emergency rupees.
"What about you?" Asked Stephen, once the worker gave him the food wrapped on a page of the newspaper.
Carina grinned and showed him her new pink bag, "It was this bag or food, and I felt it would feed me more if I bought the bag."
"That's an unhealthy logic," Stephen mumbled not looking impressed by her choice.
Carina brushes her fingers over the bag. "It's the first purchase I ever made for myself, Stephen, ever."
"Alright, alright." He hold his free hand up as they moved through the streets. "Good for you, then."
"It's so pretty, isn't it?"
Stephen regarded the bag, "I supposed, not my favorite color thought."
"Well, It's my favourite colour."
"And that's what's important," Stephen said before looking down at his chatpate. "Now how do I eat this?"
Carina giggles, pointing at the small chopped cardboard, "With that,"
"That's not hygienic," Stephen said, making a face.
"Try it," Carina rolled her eyes.
Hesitantly, Stephen grabbed the rectangular cardboard, scooped some chatpate on it and shoved it into his mouth. Carina watches expectantly as he chews it, face not giving anything away.
"So?" She asks when he swallows.
He looked at her and grinned softly, nodding his head. "It's pretty good."
"I told you so," She laughs triumphantly, pushing him slightly. "Never doubt me, Strange."
"Hard not to but I'll try."
As they were walking back to the temple, Carina yawned once again, making Stephen turn to her. "Did you not sleep last night?."
"I... it was just a bad night." She told him, avoiding his eyes, taking her necklace in her hand.
"Are you sure?" He asks, eyes narrowing as he places a hand on her forehead. "You look a little sick, are you coming down with something?"
"I'm fine, just a little tired that's all " She rolled her eyes, pushing his hand away.
"Okay, fine," Stephen said, turning back to his food. "You want the rest? I'm full."
Carina nodded happily, taking the paper cone from him. "Thank you."
She was glad Stephen dropped the subject because in a way she was telling the truth but in a way she was also lying, it was a bad night of sleep but not just that. It started with soft murmurs, soft undecipherable whispers that woke her up at night, Carina just wrote it off as a figment of her imagination, a short-lived nightmare, maybe she's finally experiencing PTSD  after that night with the Zealots, they come every night and leave every morning. It was tiring but she'll rather keep it to herself, she'll only be a burden.
"So, there's a full moon party in a few nights, you should go," Carina said, not wanting to start thinking about the whispers. "You know, after you shave."
Stephen glanced at her, ignoring her last comment. "What's that?"
"A party we throw every other month to celebrate the completion, fertility, abundance, and transformation that the full moon brings, but in reality is just an excuse for the adults to abuse of all the Ale that the Kamar-Taj has stored and for the kids to eat all the sweets on the dessert table." She shrugged, taking a bite of the chatpate.
"I might make an appearance, do you often go to those parties?" He asked.
Carina nodded. "They always project a movie for the kids, this month is Atlantis: the lost empire, and I happen to like Disney movies."
"Yeah, I've noticed," Stephen told her, before scoffing and glancing down at her amusingly. "And who says Ale, anymore?"
"I do, it's more sophisticated."
"More like prehistoric."

What is strapping material and types of strapping material?
Tumblr media
Strapping is securing and bundling packages and loads for storage and shipment. Different types of strapping materials are used to secure these cartons and other items. Various types of strapping materials are available in the market for different strapping and packaging needs. The strapping materials are made using different polymers, steel, and composite materials according to the need and demand. One should connect with the PET or PP Strap manufacturers in India according to their needs.
You will find strapping materials of various lengths, widths, and thicknesses to cater to different applications. The flexibility and tensile strength of the strapping materials also vary. All these qualities of strapping materials help in securely bundling several types of loads. Before buying the strapping materials from PP or PET Strap manufacturers in India, ask them about these qualities. Some of the most common applications of strapping materials are securing building or construction materials, securing products during shipping and transportation, securing finished goods for storage and supply, securing items at warehouses, and a few others.
Now that you know what strapping materials are and where they can be used, let’s know their types. After knowing the types of strapping material, you can choose the right strapping material for several applications. It will help you know which strapping material is used for which purpose, so let’s discover them.
Types of Strapping Materials
This blog shares the most common types of strapping materials used for multiple applications. They are:
Polypropylene Strap or PP Strap
Polyester Strap or PET Strap
Steel Strap
These three strapping materials are available with most PP strap manufacturers in India.
Polypropylene Strapping (PP Strap)
PP Strap is one of the most widely used straps for various applications. For applications that require light or medium strapping strength, polypropylene strapping is best for them. It is available in varied thicknesses, tensile strengths, widths, and colours. PP Straps are light in weight, making them suitable for bundling and sealing loads that are light in weight. They have several properties, like corrosion resistance, no deformation, and breaking strength. These qualities of PP Straps make them the perfect strapping material for holding products and items for a long time. Polypropylene Strapping material is mainly used in several applications like postal service, bailing hay, flooring, millwork, merchandise foods, and packing of frozen foods & meats.
Polyester Strapping (PET Strap)
PET Strap is the most common and highly durable strapping material among the multiple strapping materials. It is considered the best alternative to steel strapping because it is one of the strongest strapping materials with high tension. It is used to handle medium or heavy loads due to its several properties. It comes with several properties, like being resistant to UV rays, resistant to shocks, resistant to high temperatures, lightweight, and excellent stretch recovery.
Most PET straps are available in green colour as they are made using plastic bottles. But they are available in other colours too. You can ask the PET Strap manufacturers in India if they offer customized straps or not to get the desired colour. Most often, the PET straps are made using recycled materials only. Industries also use Polyester strapping because of their impact absorbing quality during the shipment. Some uses of polyester strapping material are in stabilizing heavy loads, palletizing heavy loads, and handling metals, bricks, tiles, pallets of bottles, and cans.
Steel Strap
It is one of those strapping materials used for a long time. We currently have several alternatives to steel strapping available in the market. Steel straps are mainly used for heavy loads or loads that require less stretching but high strength. Due to the zero stretchability, steel straps offer high tension, which is suitable for heavy materials. Like the above two strapping materials, steel straps are also available in different sizes, thicknesses, and widths. They come with different finishes like zinc-coated, glued, galvanized, and painted. Steel strapping is mainly used for several heavy-duty applications, like bundling metals, construction materials, securing metal containers, steel coins, railroad shipping, and packaging other heavy industrial equipment.
All these three strapping materials are widely used for packaging or bundling loads and items. If you need any of these strapping materials, go for OM Pack Strap. Being one of the best PET strap manufacturers in India, they offer heavy-duty, reliable pack straps at reasonable prices for several applications.
