Listen I love TLOU and the fandom very much but a lot of people (not calling anybody out) need a reality check and need to grow up. I wanna say my two cents on things that bother me in this fandom.
1. Boycotting for Palestine
I have seen multiple times on multiple occasions where people would sit on their phone and complain about why writers are “flooding the tags with this boycotting bullshit” and honestly all I have to say is your super childish you can’t take a hour or a week out of your day to raise awareness on a important topic that is affecting millions of people? Your so horny so down bad for pixelated characters that you don’t care about the innocent children, women and men that are dying in Palestine? The boycotting isn’t gonna stop just because you want your needs filled, the boycotting isn’t going to stop because you think it needs to, it’s not gonna stop until Palestine is free. And if you wanna read things that bad then read nobody is stoping you but a take into ignition that if a writer is spreading awareness then don’t be ignorant and say stupid shit
2. Less Sex and more angst or other genres.
Listen I love Abby and Ellie just like everyone else and I read a lot of smut about them but does that all y’all see when y’all look at them? As sex objects? Like I’m not saying that you should stop writing smut for those characters but write other things to that don’t involve smut, like angst I see a lot of people under that tag say how they wish writers would as write other things that isn’t just smut and majority of the time when they say that they get hated for it. It lowkey gets boring reading fanfics where the whole plot is smut, smut, smut. And again I’m not saying to stop writing smut but please for the love of whatever you believe in write other genres.
3. Black inclusivity
As a black writer and a black person TLOU tag isn’t inclusive enough. I know you must be thinking “Why are we speaking about this again?” Because I’m honestly so tired of how uninclusive the fandom is like I said before Ellie dates WOC if you don’t know what WOC is it’s Women Of Color all of Ellie’s girlfriends where WOC now I’m not saying you can’t write for Ellie as a white person and I’m not saying that never did all I am saying is once again all of Ellie’s girlfriend where POC
Riley was a Black African American who Dated Ellie
Cat the girl who wasn’t mentioned alot but is in the game is Asian American who also dated Ellie
Dina is a Jewish (Mexican, Middle Eastern ) American who dated Ellie
Also yes we know when the reader is white coded so don’t try a put that you don’t mention when race mentioned cause you do and we can tell when you do “She’s Petite and cute with her long blonde hair” or whatever you bitches be saying we know when you guys aren’t inclusive the whole point of fanfiction writing is to be inclusive is to make sure that readers can see themself in your xreader so if your putting all these “white things and then labeling your story as “the readers race is not mentioned” or that OC stuff that y’all do then just label the story as a white reader or a OC reader
4. Futa, trans and masc
Now here I’m gonna discuss two or three things starting off with Futa and Trans. Now I don’t know when “Futa” or “Trans” Ellie and Abby came from but a lot of you readers need to understand and learn the difference between the two because they are both very different things.
Futanari: is the Japanese word for hermaphroditism, which is also used in a broader sense for androgyny. Beyond Japan, the term has come to be used to describe a commonly pornographic genre of eroge, manga, and anime, which includes characters that show primary sexual characteristics from both females and males. In today's language, it refers almost exclusively to characters who have an overall feminine body, but have both female and male primary genitalia (although a scrotum is not always present, while breasts, a penis, and a vulva are). The term is also often abbreviated as futa(s), which is also used as a generalized term for the works themselves.
Transgender (often shortened to trans) is someone whose gender identity differs from that typically associated with the sex they were assigned at birth. Some transgender people who desire medical assistance to transition from one sex to another identify as transsexual. Transgender is also an umbrella term; in addition to including people whose gender identity is the opposite of their assigned sex (trans men and trans women), it may also include people who are non-binary or genderqueer. Other definitions of transgender also include people who belong to a third gender, or else conceptualize transgender people as a third gender. The term may also include cross-dressers or drag kings and drag queens in some contexts. The term transgender does not have a universally accepted definition, including among researchers.
Mind you I am not transgender I am nonbinary but I see a lot of transgender people speak up about how offensive it is to write a character as Transgender but it’s not really transgender but a Futanari remember a Futa is a character who is assigned a gender at birth but just has extra sexual parts like a penis.
Now another thing that bothers me is how y’all Masculinize Masc Lesbians as if they still aren’t women themselves like every time I read a fanfic with Ellie or Abby or even Vi and Sevika from Arcane you guys like to ignore they fact that they are also women themselves like it’s not gonna kill you to give those characters feminine compliments there shouldn’t be a reason why your calling these women “handsome” or other Masculine compliments and also a lot of Masculine women where makeup it’s not just a feminine woman thing. Masc Lesbians are women they aren’t men so stop treating them as if they are men and ignoring the fact that they are women
5. the Innocent childish reader gotta stop.
They title says enough I don’t think I need to say too much but a lot of y’all get innocent and corruption mixed up but a corruption kink is When you find the idea of "corrupting" someone, mostly in a sexual way, like taking virginities or introducing people to stuff like bdsm etc. It's the idea of having someone "pure" do "bad" things under your influence. And innocent is not corrupted or tainted with evil or unpleasant emotion; sinless; pure. not guilty of a particular crime; blameless. (From the dictionary)
Y’all need to understand yes not everyone knows what sex is but everyone knows what a vagina is what a penis is, what a orgasm is and what sex is but they may not knows what happens when you have sex so making the reader what y’all call innocent isn’t innocent it’s honestly to me perverted cause the only one who would say something like “my cunny feels weird 🥺” or that “what is sex 🥺” is a child. Children don’t know what sex is children don’t know what pleasure or orgasms is and when y’all say “the reader is a Bimbo” is also funny cause Bimbos know what sex is as well yes they may be stupid but they aren’t slow so before you make a innocent reader please think “am I making my reader act like a child or am I gonna make her really innocent like how regular grown ass adults act?” so don't get not knowing and "innocent" mixed up
6. The stories where they have sex inside a church also gotta stop
Now I’m not a Christian but these stories are honestly really bad and are Blasphemy a lot of people have come out and said that they don’t like the fact that people are writing stories about church in a sexual way like their shouldn’t be any reason why your characters are fucking inside a church, that’s like stomping on someone’s dead grave. You guys do shit like this and then wonder why Christian’s don’t like us. Religion isn’t something to be sexualized it’s not something to be playing with either this idc how much you hate Christianity you can be a Atheist, or Catholic or Jewish but please for the love of whatever you believe in don’t sexualize people’s religion.
That’s all I can think of at the moment if I think of more I’ll of course make a part two to this but don’t take anything I said here to heart it’s just my blunt honest opinion on things in this fandom and if I get hate for this 🤷🏾‍♀️

There's a post on r/relationship_advice about a young woman whose boyfriend asked her if his was the biggest penis she'd ever had sex with. She told him objectively no, but that bigger penises hurt her physically and make sex painful and unenjoyable, and his penis is perfect for her.
The boyfriend has been obsessed with this answer since, repeatedly demanding reassurance from her and constantly revisiting the topic even when she becomes frustrated. She describes one time they were on a call and she hadn't slept, and he was keeping her up at 5 literal AM making her reassure him about his penis.
This is how she frames the issue--shocker:
Tumblr media
The responsibility being hers, to "do enough" to help her incredibly insecure and in-need-of-therapy man to get over an issue that she did not cause.
Men are being incredibly normal about it in the comments and making sure we know how severely oppressed and harmed they are by penis size comparisons:
Tumblr media
Of course, further up in the selfsame post, there are multiple comments from women talking about how they dislike big penises, how their best lovers were indifferent to size; there are even men talking about how they're average-sized or small but have long-term female partners who love their bodies.
This generous male individual commented multiple times, but expressly stated that he didn't even finish reading the post:
Tumblr media
His additional comment elsewhere:
Tumblr media
In case it's unclear, the basic thesis of OldSoulMillenialMan's comment is that all men have a deep and profound insecurity around their penises, and need, emotionally, to hear "your penis is so huge, I'm terrified of it, it's going to ruin me, it's the biggest ever" from their women on this issue.
Putting the whole emotional labor aspect of this post aside, I took away a few key findings.
Despite women commonly and frequently remarking that they like average-sized penises, not just in "coed" communities like relationship subreddits, but in female-centric communities like the TwoXChromosomes subreddit, etc (which are all full of men, often moderated by men, and are definitely trolled, brigaded, and read by men, given how often women are solicited via DM from their posts in female-centric subreddits), men simply do not believe them, and believe there is no parallel for the "body positive" movement for them--the "body positive" movement which was begun by women, for women. The implication, here as always, is that the onus is on women to provide positivity for men, to provide help and comfort for men, to fix men's problems for them. Men never generate an internal movement directed at each other in order to heal the wounds they experience that center on maleness and manhood. They only ever want women to do the work for them. (There is also 0 recognition of how the "body positive" movement as such has been completely co-opted for profit by the beauty and fashion industries; nor any recognition of how beauty standards for women have actually intensified in the past 5-10 years.)
Men's insecurities around their penises and penis size can only be balmed by knowing that they're big enough to scare a woman, that they're big enough to "ruin" a woman. This really highlights the function of sex for men and the interpersonal function of the penis in heterosexual relationships: the function being penis as weapon. The penis is not just a genital organ a man happens to have, which he happens to use for pleasurable sex with his female partner. The desire is to use his penis to harm her. He wants his penis to be the penis that makes her suffer, that makes her scared and worried she cannot bodily accommodate him, that makes her "ruined" by the sheer size and suffering he causes with his penis. As feminists have discussed for a long time, this is a fundamental element of hetero male sexuality. "Fuck" is not just a word that means "to have sex"; "you're fucked," "fuck you," and other uses of the term clearly outline how to be "fucked" is conceptualized as an aggressive, violent, and degrading thing. Even when men are in loving partnerships with women, their deep-rooted desire is to be the ultimate violation and degradation their female partner experiences, because that is the meaning of sex to them.

hi! last anon here again. i won't go over all your advice here, and there's some i disagree with, but i have found it helpful and insightful as a whole, so thank you. i don't know if you actually wanted clarification on these things, but i figured it would be worth providing in case you genuinely wanted it.
straps as female disidentification - i do see it as different from other sex aids; it's partially about not imposing man/woman sex dynamics on sex between women, and also that as part of recovering from trans identity i've been encouraged to disengage with any practices, thoughts, or self-beliefs that represent false consciousness/male identification, and that includes a desire to have a penis/penetrate women/take the male role, and replace that with meditation and mindfulness. unfortunately i suck at meditation so i haven't gotten anywhere. i see it more as a behavioural problem than an object problem; it's unhealthy because it's a maladaptive coping mechanism about reality; i don't have a penis and can never have one and pretending i do during intimacy is hurting a theoretical sex partner.
female infantilization - this is about the bush thing; attraction to shaved vulvas is dysfunctional and unnatural.
being put off women's bodies - again this is a dysphoria thing mostly. i like how pretty much all women's bodies look, particularly femmes, and before radfem stuff i mostly just felt horny seeing nude women, but being in an environment that's very focused on the importance of reproductive organs and secondary sex characteristics to female identity has involuntarily caused me to fixate on this; when i see a woman naked i end up thinking about her uterus and the size of her breasts and her hips in relation to passing; i know that things like testosterone/hysterectomies/double masectomies/binding are really unhealthy for you physically and psychologically now, so seeing a woman's body makes me uncomfortable now because i just feel a kind of despair that if she has big breasts or big hips she'll never be able to pass for male without hurting herself and if she has small breasts or hips she got lucky with natural androgyny and she's wasting it, either way neither her or me have any way out of this and we're female forever. which is not very arousing.
once again, thank you for your advice. it's definitely given me a lot to think about (and read). i appreciate you hearing me out.
I'm actually stoked for a response, because these clarifications are very illuminating and genuinely so saddening to read.
that entire paragraph about disavowing the strap is genuinely tragic to me, as an advocate that people should just fuck however they want to fuck. you'd think if womanhood was such an innate and unchangeable thing then a fake dong wouldn't have the power to somehow impose manhood in a relationship between women, but I guess the strap is more powerful than I realized. I would love to know if this applies to fingering, given that you can't really argue that fingers are specific to any gender, or women who use straps to peg their male partners.
being told to meditate instead of want to fuck women is so funny, it's really giving 15th century nunnery.
you may not have been born with a penis but it is just literally a factual reality that you could have on if you wanted; regardless of what radfems think of it, phalloplasty is a very real surgery that can in fact produce a sexually functional penis that many people are extremely satisfied with.
okay sure super normal to fixate on someone's uterus.
I do actually very seriously need to correct this part: testosterone/hysterectomies/double mastectomies/binding are not unhealthy. they're healthcare, and the people who benefit from them - which, reminder, is not only trans people - tend to experience tremendous boosts to their physical and mental health because of it. there's nothing radical at all about opposing people's rights to determine what they do with their own bodies, and between that and the hyperfixation on reproductive organs you sound /this/ close to explaining why women shouldn't be allowed to get abortions.
in the politest way possible if looking at women makes you sad because it reminds you of your own dysphoria, you need to get out of radfem spaces and start hanging with some trans people who can help you figure some stuff out and help you envision a future where you don't fear your own body and sexuality.

The fully sane to fully insane TRA progression:
"I'm a man, but I don't feel comfortable actively conforming to traditionally masculine gender roles."
Nothing wrong with that! Gender is bullshit anyways.
"I'm a man, but I feel more comfortable actively conforming to traditionally feminine gender roles."
Cool. You do you.
"I'm a man, but I have a mental disorder that makes me deeply uncomfortable with being male. In addition to presenting and acting in a traditionally feminine manner, I would like to be recognized socially as a woman and addressed as 'she/her' in order to more easily manage the distress that results from my condition."
Okay. That's fine I guess.
"I'm a woman who was incorrectly identified as male at birth. I am not meaningfully distinct from biological women and therefore am entitled to exist in single sex, female only spaces, and to speak on behalf of women as a group. Women as a class should change the language they use to discuss their bodies and their oppression in order to make me more comfortable even though many of such discussions necessarily do not involve me. Women are to blame if I am the victim of male violence, especially women who are concerned about the issue of male violence. If I don't have access to a lifetime supply of medically unnecessary hormones and receive multiple invasive cosmetic surgeries in order to make my body appear more female, I will become suicidal, but also I am not mentally ill. Calling my condition, which causes me daily psychological distress, a mental illness is hate speech."
Um...
"What even is a woman, anyways? I know I'm a woman, because I identify as a woman, and that's what it means to be female. Gender isn't real and doesn't exist. But also transgender identities are real and valid and trans women are discriminated against because their gender is female. Sex is an arbitrary nonbinary social construct just like gender, also sex has nothing to do with gender. But also I would like my penis to become a vagina in order to alleviate my gender dysphoria. Sex based oppression isn't real, only gender based oppression is, and it is a totally random coincidence that the concept of gender happens to benefit the penis people at the expense of the vagina people 99% of the time. The existence of intersex birth defects demonstrates that humans are not a gonochoric species. No one is born male or female. A clitoris is just a very tiny penis, and a penis is just the outie version of a vagina, and sex organs don't determine whether someone is male or female. I still really want a vagina specifically though because I am female and females have vaginas. Homosexuality has nothing to do with sex and being exclusively same sex attracted is morally wrong. I think minors should be allowed to take cross sex hormones and receive cosmetic surgery but also no one is saying that shut up stop lying. I don't have a mental illness, that would be bad and gross, I'm perfectly normal and dysphoria is perfectly healthy, and you must literally want me to die if you think otherwise, how dare you be so hateful towards mentally ill people. Not giving in to my every demand and actively catering to my desires is literally partipating in genocide. Choke on my cock and die you misogynist!"

I'm partway through Hunters Unlucky and just wanted to say I LOVE the biology of a Telshee. As a transman who is possibly intersex, I feel very seen. Which does make me wonder if any of the Lidian species would have an understanding of intersexism or transgenderism? They are still animals, even if they're intelligent, and seem to have pretty rigid gender roles from what I can tell. Your essay on lions and creaisa(sp?) was very interesting too! More penis facts to tell my friends lmao Thank you for your time. I'm loving the audiobook thus far
Hey, thanks for buying my book! When I came up with the telshees and their biology, I was thinking of the many species of sea creatures who can change sex or who are both sexes. It's fairly common in fish. Why not? I'm also pleased that trans and intersex people see a kind of experience that mirrors their own. However, none of the creatures on Lidian are intended to map perfectly onto human experiences of sex, gender, and reproduction. Rather, they are intended to showcase the immense breadth and variety of sex and gender in nature, as well as the variety of reproductive strategies. I take a lot of inspiration from the natural world, which is full of strange and wonderful ways of being. These animals don't have a clear theory of sexual orientation or gender. They spend a lot of their time near the bottom of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, without the luxury to contemplate these things. They're not wearing clothes, though, so they would be aware of the wide variety of physical appearance. They would be aware of the occasional intersex individual. How that would play out as far as that animal's role in society would really depend on the species and the individual's personality. Lyndi (Roup's beta), for instance, is probably intersex. She is a sterile female who plays an entirely male role, but her scent during estrus is mentioned several times as a distraction and source of discord among the males she is leading and working with. Lyndi doesn't have any concept of intersex or trans, and some of the ways her body has developed have caused her great emotional distress. She doesn't see herself as male, although she functions as one. She has carved out a place for herself and is liked and respected. As you get farther into the story, you will probably notice others who exhibit possible trans traits. Sauny, Caraca, and Roup all exhibit some traits associated with the opposite gender. My books barely scratch the surface of the variety of sex and gender in nature. If you haven't read the book Biological Exuberance, it is an eye-opener.

Base Yandere Grell Sutcliff Headcanons (UPDATED) Slayyyyy Yandere Queen
[Hello, My sexy Muffins, on archive of our own and maybe Tumblr I have an outdated one of this! I am updating this for Pride Month! Cause Trans Women are Women and Trans Rights ARE Human Rights! If you do not respect my trans muffins then I will have a problem with you! Anyways please enjoy this chapter here!]
(Disclaimer 1: In CANON Grell is a Trans Woman, but she is in the 1800s so she has no access to anything she can to medically transition. She does refer to herself as a woman and has done gender-affirming stuff, Such as growing out her hair and wearing clothes that make her feel like a woman (All the red clothes and female coat.
Disclaimer 2: Not all people have to fully transition to match their body to what gender they are. They are still trans, Grell is a woman with a penis but she is still a woman!
Hashtag Trans women are Women
and
Hashtag Trans Rights Are Human Rights!
Disclaimer 3: Grell is a woman in canon but she is not yandere in canon! This is just for fun and not to be taken seriously at all! Simping for fictional characters and yanderes is fine! Just do not be illegal or gross about it! Yanderes are not ideal partners to have in real life. Also, remember to separate fiction from reality and headcanon from canon. Thank you, and happy pride month!)
-Base Remade Yandere Headcanons with Grell Sutcliff from Black Butler-
.Grell is a flamboyant woman, who was born with male parts.
.Yes she is a trans woman who ended up becoming a Grimmreaper
.She did not know who she was for a long time, even saying that God had made a mistake by making her born male.
.If she could she would want to change her body to that of a woman.
.She is boy-crazy for the most part, loving hot men.
.But with you, it did not matter if you were a man, you are the type of person that just stole her heart and she becomes you crazy instead of boy-crazy.
.She adores you with all her heart and knows that her love for you is forbidden because she is a Grimmreaper and you are just a human.
.She would do her best to protect you and make sure she is the one who collects your soul, so she does not lose you.
.It might be selfish but she would do her best to make sure that you become a grimmreaper like she is.
.So that way she and you can be together for as long as possible.
.She is a very flirty yandere and loves to be close to you.
.She would want to explore what it is like to be with you and maybe even have sex with you.
.It does not matter that she has a penis and it makes her not feel like a woman, she will use it on you to make you hers and will also have you top her.
.She is so a switch!
.she would also be the type of yandere that is very forward with how she feels.
.She is also the one that is the jealous type of yandere. Like if she saw you being close with someone else, especially if it was another woman.
.She does not share and she would be the one to cling to you.
.She deals with rivals, by first trying to tell them to back off!
.But if that does not work she would use her death scythe on them. They had no right to have a life with you!
.Not when she cannot have that life with you!
.If she cannot have it then no one can!
.She would also come and see you as much as she can.
.She is very clingy and affectionate with you, also a little spicey in her desire for you~
.She loves the color red and loves seeing you in red.
.She would get you clothing that you like, but in the color red, so you and her are matching ~
.She is very impulsive and has very little patience.
.So she would likely kidnap you at some point.
.And also she would be likely to snap and kill someone who got too close to you and did not stay away.
.She would confess to you in a grand, outspoken, and flamboyant way.
.To show that she loves you and that she wants to be your wife.
.If you accept her love, she will pick you up and kiss the heck out of you, she is just so overwhelmed with all the passion she has for you and that you are the love of her life.
.If you say no she will be heartbroken and then she will lose it.
.She will either kidnap you right then or there or kidnap you later once she is disgusted with what has happened.
.If you try and fight her on it, she will punish you.
.She does not want to punish you but if you act up she will and she will make sure that you love her and her alone.
[YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS another chapter is done, I hope you all enjoyed this, and stay sexy, all of my sexy muffins!]

Hi. I am the anon who vented. I appreciate that you addressed some of the points and that your blog offers a safe opportunity to agree to disagree.
I think I poorly expressed my vent. I applaud her for working and I didn't mean "past her prime" because of her age. I guess I mean that she is unappealing when she represents sex in such a bawdy and distasteful manner when it is broken down to vaginas and peni. The sex value is more than body parts, and she has the opportunity to show that sex can be just as wonderful at any age, but her marketing can be distasteful. I, too, am a woman of an older age, so I wish that she would be less shock value and more "real" of what sex can mean. I guess I am simply not her target audience, and that's fine.
You're right in that she can be the face of a company and that is great female empowerment, but I find that her "face" to the company is problematic when she has to bring in her partner's son. To me, it reads as if she is just along for the ride and adventure. Yes, give credit to the co-founder, but own your own credit too. I noticed in one of the public findings that there seems to be 2 main shareholders in the renamed company(conglomerate?). It's her and another woman. In a weird way, she reminds me of the Disney corporation that will change its tune to please the public.
When I vented, I was frustrated because I see that she has taken on this sex guru persona, but what about the Scully or early Gillian sex appeal mixed with intelligence? Women are more than just sex and bodies, and that was the beauty of Scully. I haven't read her book, but do you know how many of the want stories include sex as intelligence, just for the person's companion and not strangers? Sex in later years is sometimes better than when we were young because we lose some of the inhibitions and taboos. This also can bring a couple so much closer together. This is the shock value aspect that I was trying to reference.
I know that she has worked for the charity of the disease that took her brother's life and promoted them at various cons. How long has it been since she promoted the charity to get the attention and funds on her IG/X to bring more awareness to the cause? Maybe this is a sensitive issue for me because I recently lost someone to a disease and all I can think of is helping out with charities because I know how those families feel and the excruciating pain of wishing and hoping for a cure. This is purely projection onto someone I don't know but that person has the ability to influence a piece of society that some of us wish we could for causes that can save lives.
Even though we are pure observers of these celebrities, they do bring about interesting discussions that are beyond them and are reflections of social change, voices, and what is important to what we see in a social narrative. They are simply public vessels that instigate these discussions through various points of view.
Thank you. It's okay. I myself often express my opinion in such a way that it may be difficult for people to understand me.
I think the aggressive advertising campaign for her book and drinks is not Gillian's idea, nor is her behavior. This is a strategy that a marketing company came up with based on her role in the TV series "Sex Education". And this strategy is designed for younger people than us. I think it's too late for Gillian to use Scully's sexuality, it's been 30 years after all.
A team of editors worked on the book, so it was mostly their subjective opinion that became the basis for choosing stories. Gillian, of course, read the selected stories, but I doubt she was involved in selecting them herself.
I may be wrong, but Peter's son had something to do with production or promotion in the past, and therefore his choice was justified to some extent. And as far as I know, he is still a shareholder.
Gillian talks about her brother, but very rarely. I think it's very painful for her to talk about it even after all these years and she just doesn't want to show her pain in public. And she continues to support the Neurofibromatosis Association, but she doesn't talk much about it.
I don't really like the image of Gillian these days, but at least she shows that women after the age of 30 still exist and they are not invisible because of their age.

hiii so english isn't my first language and i'm learning more about gender and trans stuff and if i might be trans or something (i've been told i sound agender?? but that feels wrong), and something that confuses me, so i'm asking around abt it… "woman" used to simply denote afab, right? like a body type of ppl with a biological (not surgical) vagina & estrogen puberty. like a female dog. ppl say that it reduces women to their genitals, but what about with other animals? like female cat, female horse, etc, just bc we say "oh she's a girl" or "oh i have a male dog" doesn't mean we're saying they're only their genitals in that case, right…? a bitch is just a female dog, that's why it's a misogynistic word. misogyny is based on how ppl see someone without a penis as lesser, bc they don't have the power to forcibly penetrate and feel genital pleasure for it, they can't impregnate, they're "just a hole" etc. like so much of misogyny is just body-specific. the misogyny transfems experience seems terrible but also conditional? bc if they're found out to be amab they're treated as creepy men, so they then stop experiencing misogyny, they just face usually homophobia. meanwhile bio women (and transmascs who don't transition) have no exit door to the misogyny unless they transition and pass perfectly as male or something, and historically that wasn't an option. to me man & woman have always been neutral body types until i came across trans stuff, and i think the idea of gendered brains sounds sexist af. like gender seems like bullshit, i see me being a woman as just like being a female cat, i don't have ~womanly~ vibes in my brain, i was just born female and that's the least important thing about me, but male society made it weird. why should gender continue to be a thing? what does gender actually mean, if sexism was to be eradicated? is it bad if i view my womanhood as just a body type? most cis people i've talked to view their "gender" like this, as just a body type, like any other animal. they don't "feel" like one, they just have the body and aren't dysphoric about it. they might not always like it, but they don't have dysphoria about it, so they just… are. is that transphobic? i've heard mixed thoughts about it from trans ppl & activists, i'm just curious. feel free to ignore this lol ;;
Okay, the head of the council also has English as ser second language, so bare with us as we try to dissect this ask.
From what we can piece together, you're asking whether associating gender with a body type is transphobic? If yes, then yes. Gender is a strange thing, differs from being to being. A body can be an accessory to gender, affirming gender or causing dysphoria, but is not the gender itself.
There are many GNC beings who are what gender they say they are. It doesn't matter the body or presentation, your gender is valid.
You may inquire our transgender, xenogender, voidpunk, or intersex representatives on further queries

Fanfic Idea Cause Krasuer Brainrot:
MDNI, NSFW
(My trans homies, please tell me if I should add any tags. I don't want to be insensitive to any of you.)
W: Homophobia, Internalized Transphobia, Tran! Krauser, Top surgery, No Bottom surgery, Fem! Reader, Doctor! Reader, Major! Krauser, Strap Ons, Masturbation, Kinda Unhealthy but also kinda cute relationship, Its Unhealthy, I have limited knowledge of the original RE series so don't kill, All of this takes place in 2004
Tumblr media
So Krasuer FtM and he's always struggled with the idea of intimacy. He doesn't care to much about people seeing his top surgery scars, which can easily be dismissed since you can just look at the rest of his body and see the other scars littering it. Look at his face, there's no way anyone other than his doctor would be able to know.... hopefully. Times have changed, yes, but that didn't mean that people like him were accepted or welcomed. He's worked too hard to have his work be taken from him because of something so minor.
Anyways, he's overall pretty confident in that no one knows that he's trans and he's happy to keep it that way. That all comes crashing down when they get a new doctor. This doctor obviously has to read their files to catch up on their medical history and be it that his doesn't say that he was assigned female at birth, it does have the long list of surgeries he's had to have as well as his consistent use of hormones and hormone blockers. He tries to be nice to the doctor, play nice, make sure he doesn't yell at them too much or cross a line because they could so easily take everything away from him if they felt like it.
But the doctor doesn't do that. Instead, she makes it her duty to support him silently. She makes sure to remind him that he was medication ready to be picked up, she tells him about his checkups, reminds him to take care of his scars and ensures proper cleaning of any wounds or possible infection sights. She does it all without once telling him that she knows because that is not something for her to tell or force him to tell her about. She's his doctor as well as everyone else's and it's her job to have her patients best interests at heart.
Krauser starts to get closer to her. He's smitten with how much she cares and how she's made it easier for him to get the things that he needs. He gets annoyed when that rookie kid, Kennedy, starts hanging around her office more and more. Seems like the kid has a nack for getting hurt so he's always in her care chatting her up.
Eventually, when he and the doctor start fooling around, he starts to realize that he wants to do more than just make out and dry hump. He wants her to touch his bare skin and mark it. But its whats below his pants that bothers him. He doesn't have to think too much about his sex, he barely ever fucks and if he does its with strangers at a bar when he's deployed. But with her, he wants to be bare. He wants her to know. He needs her to know if she'd stay even while knowing that the man she is sleeping and seeing didn't have something that made him a "complete man".
He fingers her, fucks her in the dark with a strap on so she never knows (But she does know and she can tell because the silicone is cold against her skin not like a penis would be), and he eats her out like a man starved. He pushes their relationship further, he asks her to sleep in his courters because he wants to share his space with her. He starts to juggle the "buts" and "what ifs" if he should ask her to make their relationship official with a name or a title. Would she be his girlfriend? Would she be his partner? Maybe someday his spouse? What if she leaves him cause he's not whole? Would she even care to listen to him? Has he been lying to her for not telling her about him being trans? Did he lead her on?
All of it comes crashing down on him when one day they get into an argument and he pushes her away. They start to move their things around, her clothes and other items no longer in his courters and her scent slowly fading with each passing day she doesn't sleep in the same bed as him.
He's alone again, mopping in his own sorrows at what he lost and he gets injured while trying to save her from a fire that breaks out in the medical bay. He carries her to a truck and helps her help a young colleague of hers while barking out orders to his men to help the wounded. They make it to a hospital near the base and once she knows her coworker is safe she collapses, the adrenaline running out in her body. When she wakes up, she confronts him, asks him why did he close her out when she just wanted the truth.
"Where you seeing someone else?"
"No, why-"
"Then why push me away, Jack? I just wanted you to tell me what was wrong so I could help and instead you yell at me."
"I was scared."
"Of what?" He doenst respond he's silent. Instead he begins to unbuckle his pants and pulls them down so she could see. But she doesn't. She doesn't look down to look at what he wants her to look at. She keeps her gaze fixated on him as she slowly blinks and forms her thoughts.
"Jack, I've known. Ove always known." He doesn't know if he should scream or sob in relief. He's too conflicted for this conversation. It's too complicated.
He leaves and only comes back when she's discharged from the hospital. He picks her up and drives her back to base. He offers her his room to rest and recover. He makes sure to help apply her medication on to her burns and put on the compression sleeve for her arms and legs. He's there to take care of her when she can't.
And when she tells him that she misses him, he caves and begins to kiss her body. Her breasts are soft, her stomach ever the best part to squeeze, her hips there for him to grab.
He shows her everything about himself. She knew and she stayed and continued to stay. She kissed his pelvis and sucked on his clit, tongue flicking it over and over again all while rubbing his thighs. She fingered slowly at first before he complained that he wasn't a "damsel". So she fucked him. Watched him squirm thanks to her fingers and tongue on his cunt and had him shaking. He came on her tongue, her chin and lips covered in his release. He screamed her name as he orgasmed again and again and made a grab for her head to keep her close. His eyes were crossed and he felt weak all over. Fuck, she was good and she knew how to make him feel good. She was with him even though he wouldn't be able to fuck her in the way she deserved to be.

All I Wanted Was Sushi But I Got Abducted By Aliens Instead
by Petra Palerno - you can also find her on TikTok
The storygraph link for this book contains info such as publication date, number of pages, and community-created content warnings.
Tumblr media
All I Wanted Was Sushi But I Got Abducted By Aliens Instead is about… exactly what the title says! It’s also the first book in the Bubble Babes duology of erotic alien romance novellas.
Palerno provides content warnings within the book itself, but not on her website, so I’m listing them here: abduction, death, hostages, human trafficking, kidnapping, needles, murder, grief, blood, gore, pregnancy, sexual content, and drugging. In spite of all of this, the book manages to remain incredibly lighthearted. Yes, the first scene features Opal, our cis female protagonist, being drugged with “horny juice” after being freshly abducted by aliens and sent off to be an erotic dancer against her will. Nonetheless, I think one of several things that Palerno does well is keeping the tone fun and silly while still treating these dark topics with a measure of the gravitas that they deserve. Opal develops a fear of needles and refuses to be injected ever again after this incident, and once she is rescued from being a dancer by her cis male love interest, Ke’ain, her wishes are respected.
The plot of this not quite 200-page book is a rollercoaster from start to finish. We begin with a traffic jam on an alien planet, and end with a definite HEA featuring the abrupt ending of the galaxy-wide trafficking of human women by the alien Deenz. Some things I loved were that Opal is a plus-size babe, and her curviness and softness are seen as a definite plus by her lover. The book is very body positive, and has a scene where Opal decides not to shave (in the words of her new alien friends) her “crotch mane,” to the approval of those around her. Likewise, she remains feisty, spunky, and full of heart without any disparaging remarks about her weight.
This book is also chock-full of spicy scenes. Like, a lot of spicy scenes. So many. I lost count of the number of orgasms Opal experienced at the hands, penis, tongue, and clitoral stimulation sucker (yes, really) of her aquatic alien lover, Ke’ain. Ke’ain also happens to be the prince of this planet, so Opal is falling in love with not just a person but the whole race of aliens she will help rule once the Deenz are taken care of.
The Fi’len (Ke’ain’s species) experience a “mating bond” where they find what are essentially soulmates, but—very interestingly—this is completely one-sided in an interspecies relationship; humans of course don’t experience soulmate bonds, which can cause problems… problems that are explored further in the second book of the duology, All I Wanted Was To Become A Scientist But Now I’ve Got An Alien Boyfriend, which is about Jessy, a veteran human dancer who has been recently rescued and is now trying to piece the semblance of a normal-ish life back together.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book! It was exactly the type of lighthearted, fun romp through space that I needed as the stress of my uni semester started to really ramp up, and I’m eager to pick up the sequel and learn about Jessy’s messy relationship with Gra’eth, another Fi’len man of the planet’s royal court.

These are genuine questions and I sincerely want to know people's thoughts here. I am not asking out of malice, but out of an earnest desire to understand. Anyone who responds to this doesn't need to answer every question, just any response at all would be very helpful.
Okay, so, a lot of people say that gender isn't objectively real, that's it's an arbitrary social contruct that changes depending upon one's culture, and that gender is stuff like, "women should wear skirts and do house work," and "men should be athletic and shouldn't cry," etc. But a lot of other people don't believe that, and instead believe that gender is objectively real, and that it's an innate component of one's personal identity that has nothing to do with societal conceptions of anything (i.e. the whole, "if a trans person grew up alone on a desert island, they would still know they're trans" argument). These same people also believe that gender has nothing to do with one's physical body or their neurology. These are the people my questions are for.
Okay, so, if gender is not what society expects from you/assigns to you based on what socially constructed category you fall into, and it also isn't what kind of body you have, then what is gender, exactly? And if you don't need to do anything, or look or act any particular way, or have any particular type of body, or be perceived a certain way by society, in order to be a certain gender, then what makes you that gender? Some people say gender is a feeling. So okay, gender is a feeling, then what does it feel like, and what causes one to feel it, and what impact does it have? And how do the different gender feelings vary from one another in that regard? And if gender feelings have nothing to do with societal expectations or people's bodies, then how come people will say things like, "well, feeling like a boy is wanting to play in the mud and have a penis"?
This is the part that confuses me the most. People say gender is not societal expectations or body parts, but when they describe how they knew they were trans, they talk about societal expectations and body parts. If "boy" does not equal "plays in mud and has penis," then why would one equate their desire to play in the mud and have a penis with being a boy? In fact, why would you feel the need to transition at all if you already are your gender the moment you realize you're trans? If a woman can be highly masculine and have a "default" male body and still be a real woman, then why would a trans woman feel like she needs to look and act a certain way to validate/affirm her gender? If a trans woman's/man's/nonbinary person's body is a female/male/nonbinary body just by virtue of them inhabiting it, no matter what it looks like or what clothes they put over it, why do they experience dysphoria at all, then? Wouldn't dysphoria actually just be internalized transphobia by this logic, since it's based in the feeling that one isn't masculine/feminine "enough" to be a "proper" or "valid" man/woman/nonbinary person?

i read the thing in the original pilot script, he saying he was his mother's man etc and since they eventually dropped that (or were they stopped idk) i hope it'll be like u said, but i dont even want to see a kiss shdgfjkd. yeah all these jokes by the cast and the official account make me uncomfortable tho. not everything need to be the same in the amc adaption
I get it being uncomfortable and, unfortunately for a lot of people, gothic storytelling often depicts some kind of incest. gabrielle in particular really showcases almost every trait seen in traditional female gothic lit
Female Gothic novels also address women's discontent with patriarchal society, their difficult and unsatisfying maternal position, and their role within that society. Women's fears of entrapment in the domestic, their bodies, marriage, childbirth, or domestic abuse commonly appear in the genre.
there's also this interest in the gabrielle/lestat thing because incest - while always taboo - is almost always fathers/daughters or siblings in commonality. mother/son or father/son or mother/daughter, etc. are rarer. we do see it in media, look at the classic oedipus rex or bates motel (and i think house of the dragon just did some too (??), but it's still rarer and definitely causes a different kind of stir among watchers.
I think part of why it will be discussed in the show, beyond what I've already said, is that part of the horror of it all is how mother/son incest subverts the traditional maternal instinct. there's this really great read by diplacadi where she states
...mothers are assumed incapable of assaulting their sons because ‘they lack the sexual equipment necessary for direct sexual agency or assault. Without a penis women are assumed to be the acquiescent objects, not the active agents, of sexual acts. The idea of women as actively assaulting men sexually is such a troubling idea to normative definitions of female agency that the existence of such acts is often dismissed. Though McKinnon refers to the way modern Americans view the role of the mother, its applicability to the British eighteenth- and nineteenth- century Gothic is aptly demonstrated in her assertion that: ‘the only way to account for the contravention of the “natural” is by conjuring the “unnatural” – a woman whose intellectual deficiency or psychological pathology completely undermines her maternal nature
now, it's important for us to note that in the books gabrielle and lestat do not have sex and, again, I don't see them doing that. but gabrielle crosses boundaries with lestat - heavily because of her lack of maternal feeling and also because of how she is lestat, she is him in her head, they are the same as she does not relate to her feminine side at all but thrives in her masculinity that she envies lestat for being and having. to her, he is not quite a son as much as the person she was supposed to be, so sharing about how she wants to murder her husband and other sons and sharing how she wants to have the village men do things to her simply for the thrill of causing a scene isn't her sharing with her son - to her - but sharing with a friend, with herself.
I think a kiss between lestat and gabrielle, something that happens in the book, can be expected in the show. and yeah, it sucks, but I think it's going to be how we're also, at some point, going to see armand in his worship of marius, something that will make us all sick to witness but will add to the horror.
in an ideal, lestat is going to realize his worth outside of his mother in the show and maybe not be quite so invested in her. not saying I don't think she's important or that he should have no relationship of any kind with her, but I think if we're going to acknowledge marius' abuse we have to acknowledge gabrielle's. and I think the show has the potential to do all of that while staying true to the story but being. better than it. something the show does with 99% of AR material.
and this isn't even getting into covert incest and the way lestat becomes the father/provider of his house because of his own father's abuse and failure and so, in turn, his father makes him his mother's husband in a lot of ways but !

The strange thing about having a "lesbian" friend that dates a totally passing tim and doesn't engage in any sex that includes his penis is coming to the conclusion that lesbians can be attracted to males under very ✨special✨ circumstances, and not the conclusion that perhaps her friend is actually straight or bi. Non of the details she gaves about her friend are convincing enough to indicate that she's a lesbian with an "exception", but do sound like a straight or bisexy woman that simply doesn't like to engage in sex that involves a penis. Like that literally is more plausible and likely to happen.
I'm a woman that's solely attracted to men yet I'm literally penis-repulsed. I used to be one of those straight women that watches lesbian porn because it's "more focused on female pleasure" and "males bodies are just not attractive!" (I don't watch porn anymore so don't worry). And I used to wonder if perhaps I was a lesbian or bisexual; there was even a time when the whole mogai crap was popular in tumblr where I was seriously identifying as heteroromantic homosexual (I wish I was kidding). Turns out I'm just not a fan of penises and hate every sex act that involves it in any way (specially fellatio and penis-in-anus), but all of my crushes and fantasies involve men. If I imagine myself kissing someone is always a man, and if I indulge in a sexual fantasy that I like (like cunnilingus) it's also with a man. Never a woman cause that doesn't turn me on in any way.
Also passing TIMs are scarce, a lot of them "pass" on social media due to heavy make up and retouching of photos, but the majority don't pass in real life. And if they do, it's pretty much always the gay ones, the OSA ones pretty much never pass lmao.
So I think it's more likely this friend is a osa woman that either a. Doesn't like penis-focused sex, or b. It's mostly/solely into receiving (like stone femmes but osa 😆).
yeah i think it was pretty heteronormative of milo to be like "my lesbian friend has a TIM bf and i think the lesbian is a lesbian bc she doesn't touch the penis or whatever" because sex isn't always about piv.... even among male/female couples. like that TIM going down on that "lesbian" is still sex between a male/female even if the male is wearing a dress and has a "nice" personality lmao

In 2000+ years, archaeologists will dig up your bones and know nothing about you
I've been reading about Akhenaten. He was a Pharoah of ancient Egypt, and is considered to probably have been Tutankhamun's father.
He changed the polytheistic religion of ancient Egypt to a monotheistic religion (Tutankhamun changed it back) and built a new capital city, Akhetaten, which was abandoned shortly after his death.
After Tutankhamun, the 18th Dynasty ended. The new Dynasty referred to Akhenaten as the "enemy," and "that criminal." His monuments were dismantled, his statues were destroyed, his name was excluded from lists of Egyptian rulers. Was this just because he changed the religion?
Akhenaten was married to Nefertiti, but contemporary art shows him lovingly touching Smenkhkhare. There is speculation Smenkhkare was Akhenaten's brother or son, which doesn't rule out a sexual relationship. With absolutely zero evidence, some Egyptologists decided Akhenaten had two children with his 12 year old daughter.
The "evidence" was the image of a child on her tomb wall, which they decided meant she died in her childbirth, even though no other Egyptian tomb includes a reference to how the person died. And the evidence that the alleged baby (of which there is no evidence) was Akhenaten's is also zero. Seriously, guys, 0 + 0 does not = 4.
There is another theory that the artwork that depicts Smenkhkare and Akhenaten actually depicts Akhenaten and Nefertiti, but Nefertiti is in drag.
Akhenaten possibly had 1, 2, 3, or 4 wives and possibly one of them crossdressed as male or possibly he had a male lover.
A body has been identified as the father of Tutankhamun, but it hasn't been identified as Akhenaten, even though he is recorded as Tutankhamun's father.
A body has been identified as Tutankhamun's mother, but it has not been identified as Nefertiti, even though Nefertiti is recorded as Tutankhamun's mother.
The most interesting thing of it all is that Pharoahs were depicted in art as athletically built men, except for Akhenaten. Akhenaten had a "feminine face, wide hips, and breasts."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Egyptologists have made many theories about this, including that his "androgynous" (read, female) appearance was caused by Froehlich's syndrome, which would cause a man to have feminine fat distribution. It also causes sterility, and Akhenaten had six kids.
A new theory is that Akhenaten was intersex, which might have been the case.
Or perhaps he was a trans man. He was Pharaoh, his word was law. If his word was that he was a man, who would argue with him? Perhaps the body identified as Tutankhamun's mother is Akhenaten, and the body identified as Tutankhamun's father is Smenkhkhare.
Tumblr media
This naked statue of Akhenaten shows him without a penis. And to combat the things his father had done (supposedly, with regards to changing the religion) Tutankhamun was mummified with an erection.
Well, we're not likely to ever know the truth, and that's not really important.
The point of this isn't to say if Akhenaten was trans or intersex or married to a crossdressing queen or one of the first ever recorded gay men in world history, it's to point out that we have no idea.
So if some transphobe is all "when archaeologists dig up your bones, they'll know your sex," you can just remember Akhenaten, and know that archaeology is not as simplistic as bigots would like you to believe.
