Ok. I’m a bid Dogma fan myself. I’ve been following you for a couple weeks or so now. Something happened to Dogma at 79’s right? Did I miss something?

I take it you're talking about these two posts specifically [X] [X].

Back before the Forceful Intervention AU was a thing, I wrote one of my very first drabbles (atrocious writing really but it was a big starting point for the narrative I started developing for the FIAU Universe) that, funnily enough, was about Dogma but never featured his point of view.

Instead it was about post-Umbara from the point of view of one of my natborn OCs who had actually taken the time to befriend Dogma (and a few other troopers) prior to the Umbara Arc, and her witnessing the 501st denigrating his name while heavily drunk (to be fair to them, they'd just come out of a really rough situation and wanted to escape it through indulging at 79's, and things quickly got out of hand because angry and sad drunk men don't think before they speak, and pointing the finger at Dogma was easier to do than admit the system they all follow is heavily flawed and cares not for them).

Unbeknownst to them (but not to Mae, the OC in question, who was informed by Olly), Dogma has been interrogated and sentenced in a flash trial, and been turned into a huge cover-up's scapegoat by the Chancellor to "preserve the Jedi's flawless image so as to not shake up the civilians who need to believe in their heroes more than ever".

Long story short, in their attempt to ignore how badly Umbara has shaken them up, Jesse and Fives make some really cruel comments at Dogma's expense, not knowing that he's already a dead man walking who will be sent to Kamino to be either reconned or decommed depending on what the Kaminoans decide is best. And Tup who's sitting with them, doesn't do anything to defend his twin's name and just lets the rest of the troopers laugh and add their own comments and assumptions into the mix.

And this is both witnessed by Olly who followed Mae and her two companions (two 104th ARCs she helped rescue from Krell's battalion who were originally a part of the squad Tup and Dogma were assigned to on Kamino) to make sure they would be ok, Mae herself who bursts into genuine tears over how helpless she felt because she couldn't help her friend, and both Bully and Jawbreaker who were disgusted with the 501st's behavior and started a bar fight to defend Dogma's name. Olly already being there, helped a squad of fellow corries put an end to said bar fight and carted off everyone involved to the drunk tank.

That's the body cam footage Dogma is obsessing over. The derogative comments and Tup quietly sitting there saying nothing to put an end to them, like he would have during their cadet days.

It both hurts him deeply and fuels a deep-seethed anger towards himself and the 501st that only grows more confusing after the Coruscant Guard has no trouble accepting Dogma as he is.

What did he do wrong that he was so horrendously rejected by his first family battalion that he'd been so proud of being a part of, but not by the second who extended their understanding and patience to him without question or ridicule at his shortcomings?

Was he just not good enough to be a part of the 501st? Not crazy or flexible enough to meet their demands? Was he just too dogmatic and set in his ways to be welcomed? Too rigid to be a vod? A perpetual outsider?

These are the questions that bring him back to that footage. It's a cycle of self-consciousness, self-hatred and grief that one day he will overcome. But it's not an easy or clean process.

Because it never is.

Author's Note: I blame cursed clone wars merchandise on eBay, late-night Discord chats, and @kimiheartblade for this abomination 😂 It's pretty much just dialogue. I don't even know if I want to call this a fic, considering how thrown together it is. But sometimes you just have to write funny stuff. As always, please enjoy 💚

"Hey, Echo, look at this!" Fives yells. He grabs Echo's arm and pulls him towards the candy storefront.

"What?" Echo huffs, then yanks his arm back.

"It's us!" Fives exclaims.

Echo raises an eyebrow. "Huh?"

"They made us into suckers!" Fives smiles. He points to the clone-shaped lollipops nestled in a stand next to the candy store window.

"And you're excited about that, why?" Echo asks.

"We're famous!" Fives grins.

"Right," Echo rolls his eyes, "because minors and middle-aged single women sucking on us is peak fame."

"Aw, come on, Echo," Fives says. "It's a novelty!"

Echo crosses his arms. "It's disgusting."

"I'm gonna buy one," Fives says, then walks towards the door.

"Wait!" Echo yells, trying to stop him, but he can't.

Fives buys the lollipop and returns to Echo, who is waiting for him outside the shop.

Echo sighs. "Happy now?"

Fives smiles and then shoves the lollipop in Echo's face. "Here, have a lick."

Echo cringes away. "Ew, no way!"

"It's just a lollipop," Fives says.

"I don't care," Echo huffs.

"But don't you want to know what flavor they made you?" Fives asks.

"No!" Echo says. "I don't have a flavor."

"But it looks like you," Fives says.

"I'm not sucking on something that looks like me," Echo says.

"Then it looks like me," Fives says.

"I'm not sucking on something that looks like you either!" Echo exclaims.

"It's kriffing sugar!" Fives retorts.

Rex taps his foot against the pavement, his arms crossed, while staring at his two arc troopers who are currently sitting handcuffed on the edge of the curb.

"Does someone want to tell me why the Coruscant Guard got called out here?" Rex asks.

Fives and Echo look away from each other in embarrassment.

Fox clears his throat. "Several passersby complained of two men in an altercation with one of them repeatedly yelling, 'suck on it'."

Rex takes a deep breath and pinches the bridge of his nose.

"We can expl–"

"Don't," Rex interjects with a wave of his hand. "I don't want to know."

,,what are their favorite fragrances on you“ or what fragrance really attracts them I know for a fact Crosshair would go for something strong

This is a fun one, thank you! I went with smells in general, so it could apply to a perfume on a partner or a fragrance they'll smell in their environment that makes them happy 😊

(I actually have a different HC for Crosshair, but I could see him enjoying a good strong scent every once in a while.)

Fox and Jesse love sweeter smells, though only Fox would ever actually admit this. Anything sugary, flowery, or fruity is their jam.

Kix and Crosshair tend to go for clean smells, something fresh like soap or ocean breeze, or more sharp like citrus or lemongrass.

Wrecker and Mayday prefer natural aromas, whether it's someone's B.O. (no joke, they don't mind a little sweat), or something woodsy and mossy. 

Wolffe and Hardcase go nuts for something dark and heavy, especially if it has a hint of spice. They want to feel surrounded by the scent.

Cody and Tup are classic vanilla guys. They like the simplicity and homeliness of it, making them feel like they're wrapped in a cozy blanket.

Fives and Tech enjoy complex fragrances, things that keep them guessing. Like an aged wine, blended incense, or a layered perfume/lotion.

Rex and Echo have a thing for lavender. It's calm and refreshing, but it also has an herbal tone to it that gives it just the right kick.

Dogma and Hunter don't really have a preference, just so long as it's not too strong/thick. They are rather sensitive to smells and don't want to be overwhelmed.

The wall at your back was rough, biting at your skin through the thin material of your shirt, but you stopped caring shortly after Flicker had pushed you up against it.

“You didn’t tell me you’d be planetside,” he said, breathlessly between kisses. He tasted like cheap booze and candy he probably stole from Fox.

“Wanted to surprise you,” you moaned, as he easily parted your legs with an armored thigh. The ridge along the center pressed against your core, and you rolled your hips automatically.

“That’s it, mesh’la,” he purred against your lips, as one hand gripped the back of your head and the other found your hip.

“Missed you,” you said breathlessly, as the two of you moved against one another in a languid rhythm like you weren’t in an alleyway.

“Missed you too,” he said, kissing the corner of your lips, before nipping at your bottom lip.

“Can we…go back to my place?”

“Come first,” he ordered, releasing your hip, and using his teeth to tug one of his gloves off.

"Flicker," you whined, even as you gripped his shoulders and rocked your hips against his thigh.

"Mesh'la," he parroted back with a smirk, as his bare hand slipped up the front of your shirt to tug your breast band down. His nimble fingers circled, brushed, and pinched one of your nipples.

A moan rose out of your throat before you could stop it. You moved to cover your mouth, but the sergeant caught your wrists in his free hand pulling them up and holding them above your head against the wall.

"I don't think so," he chided playfully. "I wanna hear you. Every...single...sound."

He licked his lips as he took in the sight of you completely at his mercy. His to please and enjoy.

"Keep working those hips. I mean it, not leaving til you come for me," he said, stealing a heated kiss before pressing his forehead against yours.

You complied, grinding against his thigh, growing more vocal as you got closer and closer to your climax.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" He asked as his name flowed past your lips amidst a plethora of colorful swears and groans of desire. "I can't hear you over all that noise you're making."

He slid his hand down your body, and reached around to grab your ass, and move you over his thigh.

With one final mewl of bliss, your pleasure crested like a wave, leaving you to fall apart in Flicker's grasp.

“We’re over here!” Ari called out over the noise upon seeing Fives and waved him over. He made his way through the mixture of his brothers and civilians unconsciously looking behind him for someone he knew wasn’t going to be following and scolding himself every time. 

She’s going to be fine. Whoever she’s going to be with will watch her. Dammit Fives, stop worrying so much!  

Ari’s smile slowly began fading the closer he got without her friend in tow. Looking around in a panic, she watched the trooper weave his way across the room. “Where- Where’s Rasha?” She asked when he got close enough to hear. “Is she just in the fresher?” 

He shook his head, “No. Has she not said anything to you yet?” Almost on cue, her comm rang out. She scrambled to get it out of her bag, eager to find every piece of information she could about her friend’s absence. 

LIEUTENANT - NIERRE, ALLARIA

Echo took the pad from her hands before she dropped it and read her message. He shushed her and gently got her back into her seat before handing it over to Fives. “She’s with Commander Wolffe. Nothing’s going to happen to her if he can help it. He’s a good guy and even better at taking care of his men. General Plo will look out for her too,” Echo tried consoling, “just take some deep breaths and we can go back to your place if you want.” 

“No,” she sighed, “I want to stay out and have fun with everyone but it’s just going to be different without her here.” 

“Well, the offer is always there.” 

“Thanks,” she sighed again, staring into her drink, “I just have to remember that we’re not little girls anymore.” 

“What-” 

“Hey, guys!” A drunk Hardcase interrupted, “Where’s Rasha?” 

“She went home early,” Fives quickly intervened. 

“Why? You just got here!” He slurred. 

“Wasn’t feeling good. She had a headache or something.” Hardcase didn’t seem to notice the snapped responses and wandered off to find someone else to bug. The rest of the night dragged on with the occasional joke or one of the men asking where she was until Ari decided to call it a night and go home, with Echo following to make sure that she was going to be okay.

Some Wrecker headcanons for Wrecker Wednesday

Look, I know I talk about food a lot, but it's my true love, so I'm not sorry, and I'll probably definitely do it again.

Because this man can cook. He never really even considered cooking before the Batch got to Pabu, but after trying Shep's sushi, Wrecker and Omega begged Shep and Lyana to teach them how to make it. That was how it started.

And because Wrecker is intensely competitive and loves a challenge, he pushed himself to make the most perfect kriffin' sushi on the island. The most precise knife work for his sashimi, the most uniform nigiri, and when he perfected maki on the first day, he demanded a real challenge and immediately graduated to uramaki.

The Marauder was sticky for three days afterward.

After that, he wanted to learn it all. Every time he went to a new food cart on Pabu, he'd watch the vendor's techniques and try to replicate them exactly when he was practicing on his own. He scoured the holonet for new recipes and tutorials. He started testing new flavor combinations (some of them were so bad even Batcher wouldn't eat them, but mostly they were good to great), and combining different techniques, and experimenting with new ingredients that the Batch encountered on their travels. Sometimes it was a huge success, and sometimes it was a spectacular failure, but either way, he learned something new every single time.

Over time, he realized that the type of cooking he enjoyed most was the fiddly, delicate, precise work; he was good at it from all those years working with sensitive explosives, and he liked to keep his skills sharp. But what he loved most was when his family all sat down to eat a meal he'd painstakingly cooked for them, balancing Omega's endlessly curious palate with Hunter's sensitivity to overwhelming flavors and Crosshair's love of spicy and acidic food. When he found the perfect dish to satisfy all three? Well, that was a good day.

“I don't see it,” Rex said, his voice rumbling beneath you. He toyed absentmindedly with your hair as you lay perpendicular to him with your head resting on his stomach.

“How can you not see it? It's right there!” you insisted.

“Maybe it's the angle,” he suggested. “Come up here and show me.”

You sat up and stretched luxuriously, enjoying the sunshine. The back of your shirt was damp with dew from the grass as you rose, and it clung to your skin, cooling rapidly in the breeze. After weeks of the monotonous gray durasteel walls of a starship, you’d leapt at the chance to spend some time planetside.

White plastoid littered the ground around you: the top half of Rex’s armor, discarded when you reached the top of the hill where you’d lured him with the promise of a picnic—if a meal of ration bars and stale canteen water counted as a picnic (Rex insisted it did). You crawled closer to him and flopped back down in the grass, this time lying next to him with your head on his shoulder.

“See?” You pointed at the sky. “There's its head, and there's its back legs, tail, and front paws.”

He dropped a light kiss against your temple before replying, “I don't know how you can possibly look at that cloud and see a nexu wearing spectacles, walking on its back legs, while reading a holonovel.”

“Well, what do you see?” you demanded, tilting your head to look up at him.

He watched you, his eyes soft. “Someone with a better imagination than me.”

“That's not true,” you objected.

He smiled and continued as though you hadn't spoken. “Someone with a head full of stories and hair full of grass.” He reached up and plucked a blade of grass from your tangled locks, then wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close to himself. “My favorite person in the galaxy.”

Well, you mused. How am I supposed to argue with that?

On the infrequent occasions when it rained in Ord Mantell City, the water fell in a deafening torrent. Those unlucky enough to be caught in one of the city’s abrupt and violent storms would quickly find themselves soaked to the skin by the stinging, furious downpour. Locals knew to stay indoors during these deluges, while any hapless visitors learned a hard, fast lesson.

Inside the Marauder, though, it was safe, and warm, and dry. The ship was in low-power mode, illuminated only by a few glowing control panels and the dim light filtering through the sheets of water that coursed down the viewports. You curled on the cramped, narrow bunk, your head on Tech’s chest and his long legs entwined with yours as you listened to the insistent hammering of raindrops on the durasteel hull of the ship. The steady, rhythmic beat of his heart thrummed beneath your ear, and as you rested your hand on his shoulder, your finger tapped softly in time with his pulse.

He traced his fingertips lazily down the bare skin of your arm until he reached your hand, gently enfolding it in the warmth of his own as he pressed his lips to the top of your head. You savored every nanosecond of the rare and treasured privacy the storm had afforded you, alone in the ship while the rest of the Batch were tucked away in Cid’s dingy parlor, waiting for the rain to end.

Your head rose and fell subtly with each breath of his lungs, the soft warmth of each exhale drifting across your skin. The tension drained from your body as you relaxed into him, and you struggled to resist the inevitable, seductive allure of sleep.

“We should probably get dressed before the others come back,” you whispered.

“We should,” he replied in a soft tone. “But by my calculations, the storm will likely persist for at least two more hours.”

You laughed quietly. “Your calculations? Is that why you ‘urgently required my assistance with repairs’ this morning?”

“I thought it was obvious.”

Like all the other Star Wars geeks, Doug cut out of an important Zoom meeting with his work to watch the latest trailer of Daddy Warcrimes 'n Friends last week.
