Daily drawing 1794. I had a little bit more time today, so I dipped into the references I've been saving up lol. Drawings this was a lot of fun and went fairly quickly compared to normal. I still take way too long drawing characters and hard surfaces, but I'm slowly creating a workflow it seems. Also, I've been drawing characters kinda in a more cartoon or anime style recently, so today I wanted to go back to my semi-realism core.

Hey, uh, a little RP moment between sessions has me realizing a whole other side to my character Yūji.

She recently grew wings and needs her clothes modified to work with her new appendages. So an few NPCs helped her sew her existing jumpsuit, but also gifted her a backless dress. Which led to me realizing that Yūji has never owned a piece of clothing that was pretty, that was made to just be aesthetically pleasing, that wasn't entirely utilitarian.

Yūji also went through the ages of 12 to 18 without any sort of stable companions. Her backstory is that she's been traveling between post-post apocalyptic human villages/settlements and doling out some violent change when she saw it as necessary. And before that she and her sister were born into being captive workers in a large underground mine.

So yeah, this is a moment where Yūji gets to be and feel pretty. Like, for the first time in her life.

And I'm having feelings about it.

I love how Toulouse just has pocket confetti and it’s a accepted fact. No one acts surprised and just rolls with it, which leads me to wonder what constitutes a pocket confetti situation besides pitching the show.

There's a version of the "don't go grocery shopping while hungry" rule specifically for writers where you should never under any circumstances be allowed to touch your draft within 3 hours of reading a really good story. Because sometimes when you read something great your head goes "fuck this is so much better than my stuff I should make that more like THIS instead!" Look at me. That's the devil talking and you should close the document NOW.

DPxDC Idea

Danny working at Wayne Enterprises as some sort of engineer, uses the in-house app for all his blueprints and stuff

He starts getting notes from a coworker in-app, and assumes its this annoying older guy in his department who constantly undermines him because of his age, despite his education and past achievements (i feel like in this AU the Fentons react well to the reveal and they work together on a number of non-lethal ecto inventions that have Danny's name attached to them)

Except one day his coworker mentions never using the app, and Danny suddenly realizes there's only one other TD he could've been arguing with in the notes of the app
