TW DILFs - Nude headcanons
Teen wolf dilfs.. and receiving/sending nudes
Feat. Peter, Chris, Sheriff, Deucalion, Derek, Jordan
AO3 | Fanfic Masterlist | Request Rules | Fic Trades Guide
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Peter
Peter loves receiving nudes, he’s never too busy to look at a message from you, and seeing a photo of you like that is enough to make him end his work day early quite often. He has very little self-restraint when it comes to denying himself something that he wants. He particularly likes them if you’re wearing something of his. He saves them all in a secure folder on his computer, just because he likes to have them, and if for some reason you’re ever separated for a prolonged period, he likes to use them for himself.
He’s more than happy to send them as well, almost always when you’re busy so you either open them and get stuck thinking about it while unable to go see him, or you’re stuck wondering whether what he’s sent you is a nude or a photograph of a meal he’s made until you get a spare second. He likes to be difficult, and he likes that results that gets him when you get home.
Chris
Sending and receiving nudes makes Chris feel young again. Sometimes when you send them, he has a moment where he just sighs and thinks he’s too old for all this, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love them. Especially if you’re wearing his favourite colour, or handling a weapon, that drives him insane.
He doesn’t tend to send them back, but sometimes he does send you photos that are just that little bit risque. Fresh out of the shower, still dripping water, a photo of his food but his hand and forearm are in the shot just a little and you can see the veins.
Noah
When you send nudes, Noah just about implodes, particularly the first time. Though, the overwhelm and excitement doesn’t continuously lessen over time, it stopped decreasing after maybe the third time. He’s not surprised anymore, but he loves them just as much. He’s incredibly careful about opening his phone at work now.
Noah doesn’t send nudes, he’s too old and too busy and feels just a little too awkward about it. He doesn’t even try, he’d much rather just invite you over and have you there in person. Then he can have his way with you.
Tumblr media
Derek
Derek is very reserved when you send him nudes, he’s able to completely school his face to something neutral, and at least half of the time can totally control his chemosignals, meaning nobody gets a clue as to what he just received. If he’s alone though, he has no issue pushing his hand down the front of his pants to do something about it.
It’s a very rare occasion that Derek sends nudes to you, and when he does he takes care to avoid the typical pitfalls that come with nudes from men - no straight down shots that feature his feet. He knows better than that. But, he can be a little nervous about sharing images of himself like that so it takes him being with his partner for quite some time before he’s comfortable sending them.
Deucalion
He’s incredibly smug about receiving nudes. He’s an older gentleman, but he’s still got it, and getting them from you is proof of that fact. He always has to add a little comment, a flirtatious line, and a promise that he’s going to deal with you when he gets home.
Deucalion doesn’t send them himself, he would struggle as a result of his blindness, but he also would rather take the time to surprise you in person and do something for you than just send a nude. Though, he wouldn’t object to photos taken in person.
Jordan
When getting nudes, he gets quietly flustered. He won’t give a big reaction, just a light flush or a small smile. He doesn’t tend to save them, but if he gets one that’s particularly artistic he’ll keep it for himself, just to look at you - more as art than a sexual act.
He’s quite willing to send them himself, and he takes care to make sure they’re taken well. He’ll prop up his phone and set a timer to make sure he gets a good shot. He’s not too shy to kneel and spread his knees, showing himself off as best as he can. He has nothing to hide after all.

Noah Stilinski: "Do you boys have anything that you want to confess?" Isaac: "Okay, I confess! I had a threesome with Peter and Chris in your office twice. And Stiles let Derek fuck him in your bed." Stiles: "DUDE!" Noah Stilinski: "I was gonna ask who ate all the BBQ chips, but go on, Isaac."

WHAT COUNTS AS A DILF?
A highly scientific breakdown using the men of Teen Wolf:
NOAH STILINSKI
Actual Dad? ✔️ (Stiles Stilinski)
Wears the Dad Badge with Pride? ✔️
Doesn't know how to flirt, but somehow still does? ✔️
The "I will ground you and save your life" energy? ✔️
Verdict: Classic DILF. The original blueprint. Honorable, exasperated, soft-swearing in the station hallway kind of hot.
CHRIS ARGENT
Actual Dad? ✔️ (Allison Argent)
Emotionally repressed hunter with tragic backstory? ✔️
Could bench press you and then apologize for it? ✔️
Gun-wielding in black tactical gear? ✔️
Verdict: Tactical DILF. The “I’ll protect you but I’ll never admit it” kind of hot. He’s been through it, and it shows—in the best way.
PETER HALE
Actual Dad? ✔️ (Malia Tate)
Certified Problem™? ✔️
Will flirt mid-fight and still win? ✔️
Unclear if he’s trying to save you or seduce you? ✔️
Verdict: Chaotic DILF. He knows he’s a DILF. He’s weaponized it. He’s dangerous, dramatic, and that’s why it works.
Conclusion:
If you're wondering "What counts as a DILF?" in Teen Wolf, the answer is simple:
If he’s over 40, dangerously competent, emotionally complex, hot in a crisis, and has at least one child (or acts like he’s parenting the entire cast)? He’s in the club.
DILF Cards: Noah, Chris, Peter.
Tag your favorite DILF.
Ship them.
Write them.
Worship them.

Code Breaker 1x12
Tumblr media
S2 Cast
S2 Episode 1
“No, I’m not letting you leave them here,” Stiles shakes his head, his voice breaking at the thought of leaving them here to die. He couldn’t look Michael in the eye and tell him that he let his daughter bleed out on the lacrosse field.
Peter wiped the blood off the corner of his mouth with a handkerchief, “You don’t have a choice, Stiles. You’re coming with me.”
“Just kill me!” Stiles screams. “I don’t care anymore!”
Peter walks over to the boy, sticking his claws under Stiles’ chin, lifting him up by simply using just the tips of his fingers. “Call your friend. Tell Jackson where they are. That’s all you get.”
Stiles pulls out his phone, his hands shaking as he calls Jackson. The explanation is rushed, leaving the blonde with a plethora of questions Stiles didn’t have time to answer. He feels like his world is falling apart every time his eyes meet Fallon’s form. He can’t even tell if she’s breathing. A few tears finally slip from his eyes, him quickly wiping them so Peter wouldn’t see. He just hopes that Jackson brings Issac or someone to get them both to the hospital.
The only thing Stiles didn’t seem to notice was the way Fallon slowly sits up as soon as he and Peter turn to walk away. Her mind is fogged, nothing making sense to her. There’s a dull sting in her side, she feels like she’s walking through a dream. The world around her seems to be in a purple haze. Every direction she looks is covered by the pretty color. She’s not quite sure if what’s happening is real, or if she died when Peter bit her. Lydia lays still beside her, shallow breaths leaving her body. Fallon tilts her head, feeling the urge to reach out and touch her, but a more primal need fills her. She has somewhere she needs to go. Someone she needs to find.
· · ────── ·𖥸· ────── · ·
The woods were a maze of twisting shadows and silvery moonlight, and Fallon stumbled through them, disoriented, her mind fogged with confusion. She could barely remember how she’d gotten here. One moment she’d been at the dance, the next... darkness, followed by pain. Everything after that was a blur.
The only thing that seemed clear, cutting through the haze in her mind, was a single command that pounded with every beat of her heart: Find Derek.
But why? Why was that the only thought running through her mind? Her legs were heavy, her body exhausted, but she couldn’t stop moving. Fallon didn’t know how long she had been running. Maybe hours. Maybe minutes. Time seemed warped out here, twisted by the shadows and the overwhelming sense of urgency that filled her.
Find him.
The thought echoed in her head, like a voice that wasn’t her own, yet completely hers at the same time. She didn’t understand it, but she couldn’t ignore it. The forest pressed in around her, branches clawing at her arms and legs, her footsteps uneven and unsteady over the rough terrain. The cold bit at her skin, but there was a strange heat radiating from inside her, a burning sensation she couldn’t explain.
Her breath came in short, ragged bursts, each inhale sending a sharp pain through her chest. She stumbled over a root, her knee crashing into the earth as she hit the ground. Fallon groaned, clutching her side as she gasped for breath, but the pain didn’t stop her from getting back up.
She couldn’t stop. Not yet.
The moon hung high in the sky, bright and full, casting an eerie glow over the forest. Fallon stared up at it, squinting against the light. There was something about the moon tonight. It felt... powerful. She could feel its pull, like it was connected to her somehow, drawing energy from it. The burning in her veins flared again, and she clenched her fists, trying to fight off the sensation.
She had to keep moving. She had to find him.
Derek.
His name pulsed through her like a drumbeat, and her feet moved forward before she even realized it. Her body felt different, almost like it was working independently of her mind. Her senses were sharper—she could hear every rustle of the leaves, every snap of a twig underfoot, every breath of wind that swept through the trees.
But there was more than that. She could feel something else—something raw and primal stirring inside her. Something that both terrified and exhilarated her. It was as if her body was changing, becoming something new, something powerful. And it frightened her.
What is happening to me? Fallon wonders, her thoughts barely audible over the sound of her own rapid breathing.
The wind carried no answer, only the distant howl of a wolf in the night. The sound sent a shiver down her spine, her heartbeat quickening in response. She felt exposed out here, vulnerable, yet stronger than she’d ever felt before. It didn’t make sense. None of this made sense.
She pressed on, her feet sinking into the damp earth as she moved deeper into the woods. The trees loomed over her, their branches like skeletal fingers reaching out to grab her. But Fallon barely noticed. Her mind was too clouded, too focused on finding him.
Derek. He was the key to this, wasn’t he? He had to be. Why else would her mind keep returning to him? She needed answers, and Derek was the only one who could give them to her.
But where is he? Why does she need to find him?
The moonlight flickered between the trees, casting strange shadows that danced across the ground as Fallon wandered deeper into the forest. Every step felt heavier than the last, her body aching from the relentless push forward. She wasn’t even sure where she was anymore. The forest seemed endless, and every direction looked the same.
Her pulse was racing, and the burning sensation in her chest only intensified the further she went. Fallon could feel it, that primal energy, bubbling just beneath the surface of her skin. She didn’t know how to stop it. Didn’t know if she could stop it.
The branches whipped at her as she broke through the thicket, her breath coming in sharp gasps. She had to slow down. Just for a moment. She needed to think, to figure out what was happening to her. But every time she tried to focus, her mind clouded again, that same thought overpowering everything else.
Find him.
· · ────── ·𖥸· ────── · ·
Stiles stumbles into the hospital, out of breath and a strong feeling of panic in his chest. Nurses, Doctors, and patients all whirl around him, only making his anxieties grow. He just got away from Peter, the older man stealing his Jeep in the process. He got Derek’s location for the man and now his only priority is finding Lydia and Fallon. His only hope now is that they’re still alive for him to find.
He charges forward once he sees Lydia’s room, but is stopped by his father. Noah pushes him back slightly, jabbing his pointer finger into his son's chest. “You know what? It’s good that we’re in a hospital because I’m gonna kill you.”
Stiles stammers emotionally, “I’m– I’m sorry. I lost the keys to my Jeep. I had to run all the way here,” he explains trying to get a glimpse of the strawberry blonde. He hasn’t heard anything about Fallon yet.
“Stiles, I don’t care!” Noah exclaims angrily.
The boy finally sees Lydia in full, the girl completely unconscious, receiving her oxygen through a tube. “Is she gonna be okay?” He asks tiredly.
Noah sighs, looking back at the teenage girl with unsure eyes. “They don’t know…” he answers. “Partially because they don’t know what happened. She lost a lot of blood, but there’s something else going on with her.”
Stiles’ chest tightens, “W-what do you mean?” He asks broken heartedly.
“The doctors say it’s like she’s having an allergic reaction. Her body keeps going into shock.”
Stiles’ face falls as he realizes that means her body could be rejecting the bite. Suddenly a more prominent worry takes over his mind. “W-what about Fallon?” he asks with wide eyes. “Where is she? They told me Lydia was up here, but I didn’t hear anything about Fallon.”
Noah’s face scrunches in confusion. His own heart rate quickening, “What do you mean, ‘what about Fallon?’” He questions his son.
“Wait–” Stiles’ lip quivers. “Did Jackson not bring her in? I told him that Fallon and Lydia were on the lacrosse field,” his breathing quickens when he watches his dad get very worried in a short span of time.
“Stiles, Lydia was the only one Jackson brought in.” Noah reveals.
“No–” Stiles shakes his head, trying to keep his fear at bay. Where could she have gone? She was unconscious. “No. Dad, she was there, okay? She was hurt, bad. Like bleeding out from a wound on her side bad. She’s supposed to be here. Why– why isn’t she here? She couldn’t have just gotten up and walked away!”
Noah’s heart drops, but he calmly presses the button on his radio, “All units, I need an APB out on a missing girl. Brown hair, about 5’5, blue eyes.”
“She was wearing a pink sparkly dress with a slit on the side,” Stiles interjects, trying to give as much detail as possible.
His dad nods, ”Her name is Fallon Donovan. Was last seen wearing a pink dress with glitter embedded in it. She won’t have any ID on her, and according to a witness is injured. Wound to the side.”
Stiles runs a frustrated hand through his buzzed hair, his breathing more ragged than ever. He lost his best friend. His best friend since third freaking grade. He lost her. She could be dead, and it’s all because he let Peter control him.
Peter. Maybe he’s the reason she’s gone. Did he send someone to get her body? Why would he do that when he promised he wouldn’t hurt them? His mind runs at a million miles a minute until his dad pulls him out of the rabbit hole he’s going down.
“Stiles,” he snaps his fingers. “Did you see anything? I mean, do you have any idea who or what attacked them? We could use that to try and narrow down the search.”
Telling his father about Peter would mean revealing the entirety of the supernatural to him. He couldn’t risk putting his father in danger. “No,” he lies, hoping there’s another way to find Fallon. “No, I have no idea.”
“What about Scott?” Noah questions.
“What do you mean? What about him?”
“Did he see anything?” Noah elaborates, practically working with nothing to try and find his own best friend's daughter.
“What do you–” Stiles breathes out, confused. “Is he not here?”
“What are you talking about?” Noah furrows his eyebrows. “I've been calling him on his cell phone. I've gotten no response.”
That’s when Stiles remembers. Scott doesn’t have his phone. Derek does. “Yeah…” he mutters looking down to his feet. “And you’re not gonna get one.
· · ────── ·𖥸· ────── · ·
Fallon staggers, her legs nearly giving out beneath her as she pressed her back against a tree, trying to catch her breath. The world around her seemed to spin, the trees blurring into a dizzying swirl of darkness and light.
Her chest ached, and she could feel her pulse pounding in her ears, her skin prickling as that strange energy surged through her once again. It was almost too much, like her body was on fire from the inside out. She pressed a hand to her chest, trying to steady herself.
The urge to give up is present, but she needs him. She needs to know where he is. If he’s okay. If he can help her.
She pushed herself off the tree, her legs trembling as she forced herself to keep moving. There was no time to rest, no time to stop. She didn’t know how much longer she could keep going, but she didn’t have a choice.
Suddenly, she heard it—a growl, low and menacing, echoing through the trees.
Her heart leapt into her throat as she froze, her eyes darting through the darkness. The sound sent a wave of fear through her, but there was something else, too. A strange sense of familiarity. The growl wasn’t just any growl.
It was Derek.
Without thinking, Fallon took off in the direction of the sound, her legs moving on instinct alone. Her mind was too foggy to fully process what was happening, but she knew she had to reach him. She had to find him.
Branches snapped beneath her feet as she raced through the forest, her breath coming in ragged gasps. Fallon’s heart pounds loudly. She was getting closer. She could feel it.
The ground seemed to slope downward, and Fallon stumbled, her body careening forward as she slid down the incline. She hit the ground hard, her knees scraping against the dirt, but she barely registered the pain. She pushed herself back up, her pulse racing as she darted forward again.
The growl came once more, a low rumble that sent a shiver down her spine, but it was closer now. Much closer. Fallon’s heart raced as she pushed herself harder, her legs burning as she sprinted through the trees.
The moonlight flickered overhead, casting strange shadows that seemed to dance around her. But Fallon didn’t care. All she could think about was Derek, and the primal, animalistic sound of his growl pulling her forward.
And then, just as suddenly as it had started, the growl stopped.
Fallon skidded to a halt, her breath catching in her throat as she stood in the middle of a small clearing. The forest was eerily silent now, the wind barely rustling the leaves overhead. Her pulse thundered in her ears as she scanned the area, her eyes wide with confusion.
“Derek?” Fallon’s voice was shaky, her body trembling from both fear and exhaustion.
But there was no response.
The silence was deafening, and Fallon’s heart sank as she realized she was alone again. She hadn’t found him. Not yet. But she was close. She had to be.
Her legs felt like they were made of lead as she took a few hesitant steps forward, her chest heaving with each breath. The burning sensation in her veins has intensified, and Fallon could feel her body vibrating with that strange energy. It was overwhelming, like her body was on the verge of breaking apart.
She staggers forward, clutching her chest as she gasps for breath. The moon seemed impossibly bright overhead, its light almost blinding as it bathed the clearing in an otherworldly glow. Fallon squinted against it, her vision blurring as the world seemed to tilt on its axis.
She shakes her head, the purple in her vision becoming more clear as she tries to push through. A low growl emits from her own chest as a newfound energy finds its way into her veins. She sucks in a breath, the pine trees above making her chest pang from the freshness. The air is too crisp to avoid the jabbing in her chest, but she ignores it.
The growl she heard reverberates in her head as she tries to follow the sound. It scares her how her body seems to know exactly where to go just by sound alone. She replays it over and over again until her body halts in front of a familiar structure.
The Hale House.
Her brows furrow, until she gets a rather strong smoky scent of leather and pine. It fills her nose and she closes her eyes. It’s him. He’s here. That’s when she also notices a different scent lingering in the air. It’s familiar to her. Fresh soap, cedar, with a slight hint of eucalyptus. It smells energetic and warm. Much like Scott. He’s here too. He found Derek the same way she did.
She travels through an unnecessary amount of brush and weeds, finding an underground entrance. Her mind is still repeating the same mantra over and over again. The scent gets stronger and pulls her through the winding pathways of the underground looking jail. All of her senses are on overdrive. She can hear, smell, and see things that no normal human should be able to.
“Ready for some more fun?” A dark voice fills her ears. She assumes it’s a hunter. She’s careful not to give away her location, walking on the tips of her toes to remain unnoticed. “To be honest, my knuckles are kind of hurting... So, I brought some help. But, I need to warn ya– I used to play in college.”
She stops when she hears the sound of the bat being caught. Right before she turns a corner, she notices Scott standing in the middle of the hallway, no doubt staring the hunter down. “…I brought a little help too.” Derek reveals.
Scott moves smoothly into the room, eyes glowing yellow as Derek knocks the hunter out. Fallon wonders how neither of them have picked up on her scent, but that’s a question for later. She clutches her side, the bleeding slowing, but still rather prominent.
Chains rattle as she moves further down the way. The brunette stops right before the room Derek’s being held in. She peeks around the corner, watching Derek struggle to pull his other arm out of its restraint.
“Scott, help me with this,” he commands urgently, not wanting to get caught by Kate who is no doubt going to return soon.
“No.”
Fallon fights the primal urge to growl at the defiance. She doesn’t understand why her anger is so high, but what she does understand is that Derek needs help. And if Scott isn’t going to do it, then she will.
“What?” Derek looks at Scott in disbelief.
The younger boy takes a brave step forward, standing up to Derek, “Not until you tell me how to stop Peter.”
Derek tugs at the chain again, “You really wanna talk about this right now?” He asks exasperatedly.
“He’s going after Allison and her family. He’s going to kill them.”
“So what?!” Derek shouts, not exactly caring if the Argents end up dead. Fallon can feel his anger, the bubbling rage that he uses to keep himself human. The purple tint over her eyes makes the room around her look much more menacing, darker than it actually is. She hides in the shadows, creeping carefully against the wall, using the lack of light to her advantage.
“So, tell me how to stop him,” Scott demands calmly.
“You can’t!” Derek reality checks him. “All right?” He once again frustratedly tugs in the chains holding him in place. He angrily looks at Scott, “Now, I don’t know when Kate’s coming back, so just get me out of this right now! Get me out right now!”
“Promise you’ll help me,” Scott persists.
“You want me to risk my life for your girlfriend?” Derek asks furiously, baring his teeth at Scott. “For your stupid little teenage crush that means absolutely nothing? You're not in love, Scott! You're sixteen years old! You're a child!”
“Maybe you're right…” Scott nods, conceding to his point. “But, I know something you don't. Peter said he didn't know what he was doing when he killed your sister, right? He lied.” He pulls out a crumpled up autopsy report from his pocket, holding it up for Derek to read. “Remember this?” There’s a dead deer in the center, a spiral embedded into its side. “This is what brought your sister back to Beacon Hills, right?”
“Where did you get that?” Derek asks breathily.
“My boss told me three months ago, someone came into the clinic asking for a copy of this picture. Do you wanna know who it was?” Scott asks rhetorically, planning on revealing the information without an answer. “Peter's nurse. They brought your sister here so that Peter could kill her and become the Alpha, and that's why you're going to help me.”
Derek’s jaw clenches with anger, his nose flaring as he processes the new information. He balls his locked up hand into a fist, making Scott think he’s still being defiant. The boy turns around with a sigh, “Just say you’ll help me, and I’ll help you unlock your other–”
Fallon takes that as her opportunity, she sneaks up behind Derek, ripping the cuff off of his wrist. Scott stops in his tracks when he hears the metal hitting the ground. He spins around and sees Derek freed, with a very dazed Fallon standing behind him, her eyes flashing purple.
“Fallon?” Scott’s eyes widen. It takes Derek a moment to process that the girl is the one who just released him. He takes in her appearance. Still in her winter formal dress, the right side of it torn and drenched with blood. Her feet are caked with mud and dirt and that’s when he realizes Peter did exactly what he told him not to.
“He bit her,” Derek says angrily.
“Derek…” the girl mumbles, swaying back and forth on her feet. “Found… you,” she barely manages to get that out before collapsing. Derek surges forward, catching the girl in his arms.
He cranes his neck to fully assess the wound, his heart pounding rapidly. His breathing speeds up and his eyes grow worried at the thought of her dying from this. But he slowly calms when he sees that the injury is healing. Her body isn’t rejecting the bite. But she’s still in no condition to be running around in the woods.
“We need to get her out of here,” Derek says. “Now.”
Scott nods his head in agreement, leading the way out of the cellar. They climb uphill and out of the gate and begin trudging through the forest. Fallon’s limp body sways back and forth, Derek cupping the back of her head so she doesn’t accidentally break her neck.
“I don’t understand,” Scott turns to the man. “If he just bit her, how did she know where to find you? I didn’t even think people could adjust that quickly after being bitten.” He says, completely lost as he stares at his best friend with concern.
“I don’t know…” Derek mutters. “But she hasn’t completely adjusted, that’s why she passed out.”
Fallon’s eyes flutter open, but this time they’re her regular color. She groans as the pain in her side returns, no longer just a dull ache. It’s come back with a stinging vengeance. Though the wound is definitely not as bad as it would be if she wasn’t rapidly healing.
She startles when she notices she’s in Derek’s arms. The last thing she remembers was running outside to find Lydia. “Derek…?” She questions, voice groggy. Her head spins and that’s when she notices her best friend, “Scott?”
“Fallon!” Scott exclaims, practically ripping the girl out of Derek’s arms.
She wriggles her way out of Derek’s hold, planting her wobbly feet on the ground. She uses Derek’s shoulder for support. “What the hell happened?” She asks, looking at her own appearance with disgust. “And why am I in the middle of the woods?” That's when she suddenly remembers what Derek did to her a mere few days ago. She slaps his chest roughly, “And where have you been?! You sneak into my room and try to kill me only to disappear for two freaking days!”
“You tried to kill her?” Scott asks angrily.
“I didn’t try to kill her,” Derek rolls his eyes, annoyed. “I gave her a warning, one she clearly didn’t listen to considering the fact she has a whole chunk missing from her side.”
“I didn’t exactly have time to build a relationship with a whole family of hunters,” Fallon replies snidely. “I had about as much time as you were missing.” She looks down at her hip, swallowing thickly as she watches the skin literally mend back together. “So– I–” she sucks in a breath. “Does this mean that I’m…?” She looks at Scott and Derek, both of them sensing the fear in her.
“We don’t know yet,” Scott says comfortingly. “We didn’t see much, but you managed to find Derek on your own. You don’t remember any of it?”
“No,” she shakes her head. “The last thing I remember was going to find Lydia on the lacrosse field. She was looking for Jackson.”
“Well,” Scott sends Derek a worried look. The only thing they do know is that she’s not a normal werewolf. At least not one they know of. Her eyes were purple. “We don’t know for sure, but we do know that you’re something.” He watches as her face falls and tears begin to well up behind her eyes. Of course, being who she is, she tries to hide them. “I’m sorry, Fall.”
She sniffles, waving her hand in the air. “It’s fine,” she mumbles. “I’m fine. Can we please just get out of here?”
Derek has never felt more guilty. He told her he wouldn’t let her get bit. He might’ve threatened her, but that doesn’t mean he actually wanted this to happen. His goal was to protect her, and he did the exact opposite. The very person he’s been helping hurt her. Knowing Peter killed his sister and deliberately went behind Derek’s back to bite Fallon makes the man beyond furious.
Scott helps Fallon climb up the small hill that leads away from the Hale house. All the girl wants to do is sleep for the next twenty years. She’s never felt more exhausted in her life. But apparently, traveling with these two means that request is simply too much to wish for.
“Hey, hold on, hold on, hold on,” Derek stops them, an uneasy feeling settling in his stomach. He analyzes the woods around them. “Something doesn't feel right.”
Scott slings Fallon’s arm over his shoulder, trying to ease the pain she’s feeling as much as possible. Now that her adrenaline has worn off, she’s going to feel the ache of the bite for the next hour or so. That's what happened to him. “What do you mean?” He asks, both him and Fallon trying to see what’s making him skeptical.
“ I don't know,” Derek exhales. “It’s- it's kind of like it was–”
“No!” Scott interjects loudly. “Don’t say ‘too easy.’ People say ’too easy’ and bad things happen,” Derek rolls his head to the side irritatedly. Scott raises his eyebrows challengingly, “What, do you think finding you was easy? Getting away from Allison's dad? Fallon getting bit by your uncle?! None of this has been easy!” He exclaims.
Derek nods his head with a sigh, realizing he might be being a bit over dramatic. “Fine. You're right.”
Scott throws his head back, “Thank you. Now can we please go–”
Scott is cut off by a loud and high pitched whirring. Fallon’s head snaps into the direction it’s coming from, and she gasps as an arrow lodges itself into Derek’s shoulder. He topples over weakly, the wind being knocked out of him as his energy is still depleted after being tortured for the past two days.
“Derek!” She yells, rushing over to him. Another arrow flies through the air, nailing him in the leg. She drops down next to him, moving quickly to try and remove the arrows. She glances in the direction where Derek once had suspicions of and she sees Allison with a large bow in her hand, Kate standing by her side. She whispers something into her niece's ear.
“Now the flash-bolt.”
Fallon’s eyes widen, “Scott!” She screams. “Cover your eyes!” She surges forward, hiding Derek and her own face with her arms, hoping Scott had enough time to do it for himself.
He didn’t. The arrow fires, hitting the tree next to him. A bright light flashes, momentarily blinding the werewolf as he also falls to the ground. He grunts out in pain, the bright light giving him an instant headache. Derek clenches his teeth as Fallon finally pulls out the arrow in his leg. “I know, I know,” she says. “I’m sorry. But you gotta get up.”
She pulls him to his feet, their combined strength being enough to get both of them up. They pull each other closer to Scott, Derek grabbing him by the collar of his jacket. They stumble and fall as they try to run away. Fallon trips over a branch on the floor in front of the Hale house due to Derek losing his grip on her. All three of them fall to the floor, incapacitated in some way.
“Fallon! Scott! Go!” Derek begs them, hoping that they can find a way to escape. Scott sits there, his vision still not fully focused as Allison comes out of the tree line. Fallon grits her teeth in pain, having fallen on the side that’s still healing. Once Derek sees the hunter coming, he pulls Fallon over to him, blocking her body with his own.
Scott scoots backwards as his girlfriend/ex-girlfriend continues stalking towards him. “Allison, I can explain,” he says in a panic.
“Stop lying,” the girl stops him, not interested in what he has to say. “For once, stop lying,” she hisses.
“I was gonna tell you the truth at the formal. I was gonna tell you everything... because everything that I said, everything that I did–
“Was to protect me,” Allison interrupts rudely. She tilts her head condescendingly as Scott looks up at her with pleading eyes.
“Yes,” the boy confirms.
Tears well up in Allison’s eyes. She shakes her head at his sentiment, “I don’t believe you.”
Kate groans in relief, nonchalantly waltzing over to the scene with a gun in hand. “Thank God,” she huffs tiredly. “Now shoot him before I have to shoot myself.”
Fallon feels Derek tense up when Kate draws near. The newly bitten girl reaches forward, gently placing her hand on Derek’s back to assure him she’s still there. She shuffles around, moving into a more defensive position. Watching Allison betray her friends so easily makes Fallon realize where her loyalties really were this entire time. They were never safe with her. Maybe Peter was right.
Allison looks back at her aunt nervously. She blinks a few times, not comprehending the request. “You… you said we were just gonna catch them.”
“We did that,” Kate nods patronizingly. “Now we’re gonna kill them.” She raises her gun, firing one shot at Derek’s chest, right where Fallon had just pulled out the arrow. Fallon goes to try and attack the woman, but Kate is quick to cock the gun at her. She tilts her head, a menacing smile covering her face. “Too bad you had to go getting involved in things that didn’t concern you,” she pouts fakely. “I actually kind of liked you.” That’s when she pulls the trigger, a bullet whizzing into Fallon’s thigh. She grunts in pain, falling to the floor as blood pools around the wound. She starts applying pressure to it, trying to get the bullet to come to the surface. She remembers Derek saying that it won’t heal unless the bullet is out.
Allison feels the urge to run towards Fallon, but stops when Kate approaches her. “She-she’s innocent,” Allison says with glossy eyes. “She hasn’t done anything. She isn’t a werewolf.”
“Oh honey,” Kate giggles. “Why don’t you look at that big bite mark on her side? I’d beg to differ.” She turns her attention back towards a terrified looking Scott. “Now kill him.” Allison shifts uneasily. Her mouth opens and closes, at a loss for what to do. She can’t just kill the boy she loves. Kate’s face falls, a small groan leaving her lips. “Oh no… I know that look. That’s the ‘you’re gonna have to do it yourself’ look.” She sighs, clicking her tongue, but doesn’t hesitate to hold her gun up, directly aligned with Scott’s head.
Fallon ignores the bullet still lodged in her leg as she tries to crawl towards Scott. However, Derek is able to gain enough strength to pull her back down. He tugs the girl into his chest, preventing her from going anywhere near Kate or Allison. She whispers Scott’s name, calling for him, telling him to run. She wants to protect him, to throw her body in front of his, but Derek’s tight hold stops her. He keeps his arms coiled around her midsection, not giving her any room to escape.
Allison surges forward, “Kate– Kate, what are you doing?!” She tries to stop her aunt, but Kate is quick to shove Allison to the ground.
The older woman tilts her head, “I love those brown eyes…” She cooes before placing her finger methodically on the trigger, but just as she’s about to shoot, someone calls her name.
Chris.
“Kate!” The man’s commanding voice gets all of their attention. His gun is gripped tightly in his hand as he stares down his sister. He takes a step forward, “I know what you did,” he says accusatively. “Put the gun down.”
As the chaos unfolds around them, Fallon lays on the cold ground, her breath coming in sharp, ragged gasps. The pain from the gunshot wound radiates through her body, mingling with the strange, pulsing energy coursing under her skin as the transition into a werewolf slowly takes hold. She clutches her thigh, her fingers slick with blood, as Derek pushes himself up beside her, his own pain evident but masked behind his usual stoic expression.
"You need to focus," Derek murmurs, his voice low, barely above a whisper as he presses his hand over her wound, applying gentle pressure. His face is tight with pain, but his gaze never wavered from hers. "You’re healing… but you need to control it."
Fallon clenches her jaw, fighting to keep the overwhelming pain at bay. “It hurts, Derek…” Her voice is strained, barely managing to push the words out as her body trembled. She could hear Kate and Chris arguing in the background, but it felt distant, almost like a blur compared to the searing heat of her wound.
“I know,” Derek replies, his voice still calm, though the urgency in his eyes was clear. "But you’re stronger than this. The moon is giving you strength. Use it."
She nods weakly, squeezing her eyes shut. The energy from the moon seemed to flicker within her, almost like it was waiting for her to take control, but it was slipping through her fingers. Her breaths were shallow, each one sending a sharp pain through her chest.
Derek’s hand moves to her cheek, forcing her to look at him. His face was closer now, his eyes piercing through the fog of pain clouding her mind. “Fallon, breathe. You have to let the pain fuel you, not overwhelm you.”
She opens her eyes, her gaze meeting his, the connection between them grounding her in a way nothing else could. For a moment, the chaos around them fell away, and it was just Derek—steady, strong, a quiet force anchoring her. Fallon took a shaky breath, her fingers curling around his wrist for support. The warmth of his skin against hers was the only thing keeping her tethered to the moment.
“I’m trying,” she whispers, her voice barely audible.
Derek’s grip tightened, a flicker of something almost gentle in his otherwise stoic expression. "I know you are. You’re going to heal, Fallon. You’re not going anywhere."
The sound of Kate’s voice rang out again, “I did what I was told to do.” It’s a harsh contrast to the moment between them, but Derek didn’t flinch. Fallon, despite the agony she felt, found strength in his words. She took a deep breath, focusing on the steady rise and fall of his chest next to hers, feeling the energy begin to shift inside her. The pain was still there, but it was duller now, less consuming.
"Stay with me," Derek murmurs, his voice low but firm. "Just a little longer."
Fallon nodded, her hand still holding onto him as the faint glimmer of healing began to take over. She wasn’t sure if she could fight off the transition completely, but with Derek beside her, she knew she wasn’t alone.
“No one asked you to murder innocent people! There were children in that house, ones who were human,” he stares at his sister with nothing but disappointment in his eyes. ”Look what you're doing now! You're holding a gun at a sixteen-year-old boy with no proof he's spilled human blood! We go by the Code– Nous chassons ceux qui nous chassent.”
“We hunt those who hunt us,” Allison whispers, suddenly regretting all of this evening's choices.
Kate rolls her eyes, moving to try and shoot Scott again, until Chris points his gun directly at her head. “Put the gun down,” he commands firmly. When Kate doesn’t surrender, he pulls the trigger, the bullet barely missing Kate’s face, launching into the tree behind her. “Before I put you down,” his voice is laced with warning.
Kate finally listens, allowing Scott a moment to breathe. Then there’s a small creaking sound that makes everyone tense up as they look to the front door of the burnt down house. Derek is quick to scoot him and Fallon back, both of them getting the sense that the following events are not going to be pretty.
“Allison,” Chris cautiously calls out to his daughter. “Get back.”
The door opens slowly, an eerie tone filling the atmosphere. Chris and Kate’s gun immediately goes to the door. Scott shoots up to his feet, claws out and ready for a fight. Derek and Fallon on the other hand stand up slowly and carefully. Derek’s eyes flash blue, “Stay behind me,” he whispers.
Fallon scoffs, her own eyes flashing back at him in offense. She can’t control them, but it was the perfect moment of retaliation. “No,” she defies him, moving to stand at his side. “I’m helping.”
He growls under his breath, but figures this isn’t the best time to lecture her. He rolls his neck, his Cannes slowly revealing themselves. Fallon gulps, realizing that might be her by the time the next full moon rolls around.
Instead of heeding her father’s warning, Allison gets up and grips her bow tightly. “What is it?” She questions.
“It’s the Alpha,” Scott answers.
One by one, the circle of people are taken down by Peter. Chris goes down first, then Allison, and then Scott. Which leaves Kate being the only one standing. She spins around, trying to catch Peter in a moment of weakness, her gun at the ready. “Come on!” She taunts the powerful man, urging him to try and get her. “Come on!”
For whatever reason, Peter leaves Derek and Fallon untouched. They both watch curiously, waiting for a moment to intervene. But watching Kate squirm wasn’t such a terrible thing. Fallon would probably have cared a bit more if the woman hadn’t just shot here a mere three minutes ago.
As Kate spins around once more, Peter appears in front of her. His hand grabs her wrist, the one holding the gun. She grunts out in pain as he squeezes her arm so tightly that his knuckles turn white. She fires her gun, desperately hoping one of the bullets hits him, but it’s of no use. Every single one of them fly in the air, the casings gracefully falling down to the floor.
Peter hits her hand roughly causing the blonde woman to scream and drop her gun. Her scream is halted by Peter wrapping his hand around her neck. Apparently the Hale’s have a thing for strangulation. She screams in pain as Peter chucks her across the clearing and onto the front porch of the house. She cries out, her back hitting the rotting wood with a loud thud before Peter drags her into the house.
“No!” Allison screams, running into the house in hopes of saving her aunt.
A lot of commotion goes on inside the house. Derek moves to go towards the front door, but once he notices Fallon trying to follow him, he stops. He grabs her by the arms, picking her up and setting her down far behind him. “You’re not coming with me,” he says.
“Yes,” she corrects him. “I am.”
“No,” he mocks her tone. “You’re not. You’re going to stay out here where it’s safe.”
“The second you leave I won’t be safe!” She argues with him. “Just stop being a stubborn ass and let me go with you!”
Derek lets out an annoyed breath, but nonetheless allows the brunette to follow him in. Scott also joins them as they dart inside the house, just in time as Peter starts to advance on Allison. Scott and Derek transform easily, baring their teeth as they get ready to attack Peter. Loud growls escape their lips as Fallon just stands there, struggling to even get her claws to show. They make this look much easier than it actually is.
Scott charges towards Peter, the two of them fighting which gives Derek enough time to help Fallon. “Stop thinking so much!” He yells at her. “It won’t happen if you overthink it.”
“I’m trying, Derek!” She snaps, ducking as a piece of wood flies at her head, courtesy of Scott and Peter. “Not exactly like riding a bike!”
Peter turns his attention towards his nephew after he’s satisfied with throwing Scott around. Derek grunts, “Dig deep!” He advises. “Find something that makes you angry. That makes your pulse rise, and lean into it.”
Peter laughs, punching Derek in the face with no remorse. “She’s not ready. You’re sending her to her death, Derek.”
Scott stands up and lunges at Peter, claws outstretched, but Peter sidesteps effortlessly, sending him crashing into the wall. Fallon watches, heart racing, knowing she needs to help, but her body isn't responding. She’s stuck between human and whatever she is, unable to break free.
“Fallon!” Derek barks at her. “You can do this. Focus on your heart rate. Get angry and use it.”
Fallon squeezes her eyes shut, forcing herself to block out the sound of Peter’s taunts, the chaos around her. She focuses on the rhythmic pounding of her heart, letting it grow louder in her ears. She thinks about the fear she felt for Allison, the anger towards Peter, and the fire in her blood when Derek yelled at her. The tension of the moment surges through her body, sparking something deep inside.
Her pulse quickened, and with it, she felt the shift. Her body responded, bones snapping and realigning as her form began to change. The pain is excruciating, but she embraces it, letting the power of the full moon wash over her. Her senses sharpening, her vision clearing, and suddenly, the wolf inside her is unleashed.
The energy coursing through her feels unstoppable, like she can tear the entire house apart with her bare hands. She locks eyes with Peter, her eyes glowing a bright shade of purple, her lips curling back into a snarl as she steps forward, her claws glinting in the dim light.
Peter’s smirk falters, just for a moment, as he takes in her form. “Interesting,” he muses, “but still inexperienced.”
Fallon charges at him, moving faster than she ever thought possible, her claws slicing through the air. Derek and Scott flank her, working together to keep Peter on the defensive. Fallon’s blows are powerful, each one sending shockwaves through the room, but Peter dodges them with ease, his experience as an Alpha giving him the upper hand.
Scott manages to land a punch to Peter’s jaw, sending him stumbling back. Fallon sees her opening and leaps forward, swiping at his chest with all her strength. Her claws meet flesh, leaving deep gashes across Peter’s torso, but it isn’t enough to bring him down.
Peter roars in fury, his red eyes glowing with rage as he swipes at Fallon, knocking her off her feet. She crashes into the wall with a grunt, the wind knocked out of her. Before she can recover, Peter is on her, his hand wrapping around her throat as he lifts her off the ground.
“You think you can fight me?” Peter growls, his voice dripping with venom. “You’re nothing but a child playing with power you don’t understand.”
Fallon claws at his arm, trying to break free, but his grip is like iron. She gasps for air, her vision blurring as the edges of her consciousness begin to fade.
Suddenly, Derek is there, ramming into Peter and knocking him off balance. Fallon falls to the floor, coughing and gasping for breath. Derek stands over her protectively, his own body battered but still standing strong.
Scott joins them, standing beside Derek as the two of them face off against Peter. "Fallon, stay down!" Scott shouts, but Fallon isn’t done yet. She pushes herself to her feet, her body trembling with exhaustion but her determination unwavering.
Peter chuckles darkly, wiping the blood from his mouth. “Is this all you’ve got? Three against one, and you still can’t take me down?”
The three of them run at Peter together, their attacks coordinated, but it still isn’t enough. Peter is faster, stronger, and more experienced. He blocks their blows with ease, countering with vicious strikes that send them sprawling across the room.
Fallon tries to stand again, but her body wouldn’t obey. The shift has taken too much out of her, and her strength is fading fast. She watches as Derek and Scott continue to fight, but they are losing ground.
Peter grabs Scott by the throat, lifting him off the ground just as he had with Fallon. Derek tries to intervene, but Peter swatted him away like he was nothing. “This ends now,” Peter growls, his red eyes glowing with lethal intent.
He throws Scott out of what could’ve been the only window left standing in this house. His body hits the woodsy floor with a loud crash, leaving Derek and Fallon badly beaten on the floorboards inside. Peter jumps out the window, fully transformed as he focuses his full attention on Scott. Fallon groans as she tries to crawl over to Derek who is writhing in pain on the floor. She hears a loud honk from outside and immediately gets a whiff of Stiles’ scent.
“I’ll be back,” she whispers to Derek, placing her palm on his chest. “Don’t move. Let yourself heal,” she instructs him, leaving before he could protest.
Once she exits the house, she jumps backwards as a bottle of liquid flies past her and towards Peter. A Molotov cocktail. She smiles, happy Stiles remembered that little tidbit from the night in the school. Unfortunately, Peter catches the flask with ease.
“Oh, damn…” Stiles says weakly.
Scott’s eyes travel to Allison’s bow and arrow. His golden eyes light up with an idea, “Allison!” He shouts, throwing the weapon over to her. Fallon is quick to jump out of the way as the hunter fires an arrow, hitting the glass dead on. The collision causes the flask to explode, fire encasing Peter’s form.
Everyone watches in complete horror as the man tries to put out the flames on his arm, but it’s no use. Especially when Jackson chucks another flask at him, hitting his other side. His entire body is now on fire. He growls in pain, staggering aimlessly around the front yard of his old home. Fallon would feel bad for the man, he’s about to die the same way he did the first time, but he did try to kill her and her friends countless times. Her empathy can only go so far.
She notices the flaming Alpha about to attack Allison. A low growl reverberates in her throat as she charges at him without much thought. Scott does the same, both of them striking Peter harshly, which sends him spiraling into the trees in the other direction.
Peter shifts back into his human form, his skin completely torched. Scott and Fallon heave heavily where they stand, both of them still stuck in their werewolf form. Or in Fallon’s case, what appears to be a werewolf-like form.
Inappropriately timed, Allison carefully walks over to Scott, kissing him softly. Fallon looks away, not believing after just trying to kill them that Allison has the audacity to do this. Especially in front of her hunter father.
Stiles’ eyes glaze over Fallon’s form. He lets out a relieved sigh, knowing she’s alive and well. But he’s also slightly terrified. She’s a werewolf. At least, he thinks she is. He watches as the brunette closes her eyes, sucking in a deep breath and suddenly she transforms back. Not a trace of werewolf on her. She did that a lot quicker than Scott did.
Fallon twirls in a circle, wondering if Derek ever made his way out of the house. She gets her answer when she hears leaves crunching under someone’s heavy footsteps. Her eyes snap over to Derek who is stalking towards Peter, a clear mission to accomplish.
“Derek?” She calls out softly to him. He doesn’t stop moving. He doesn’t even look back at her. She furrows her eyebrows, “What are you doing?”
He stops over his Uncle’s twitching body, straddling him. The only thing on Derek’s mind is vengeance and power. His claws protrude out where his nails should be and Scott scrambles to his feet. “Wait!” the boy begs Derek, running over to stop him. “You said the cure comes from the one who bit you. Derek, if you do this, I'm dead. Her father, her family–what am I supposed to do?”
Everyone watches tensely. Derek doesn’t even bother turning around, he just keeps his burning gaze on Peter. No one’s sure what his next move will be. Most of them hoping he chooses the path to help Scott.
“You've... already... decided…” Peter says weakly “I can smell it on you...!”
Without even a second's hesitation, Derek raises his hand in the air, claws at the ready. “Wait! No, no! Don’t!” Scott shouts, but it’s too late. Blood flies through the air from Peter’s slashed throat. The man gurgles on his own blood before the red fades from his irises, the power transferring into Derek.
Fallon’s jaw is on the floor. She takes a step back from Derek, a small amount of fear creeping up inside of her. She didn’t think Derek would kill anyone. Even though Peter was a psychotic serial killer, she still never expected Derek to take his life. Let alone for the power of an Alpha. His eyes meet hers, his once blue irises turning into a deep shade of red. One that she isn’t used to.
“I’m the Alpha now.”

“Do we really think this is necessary?” Fallon asks Scott quietly as he unlocks the door to the animal clinic. “I’m really not that curious.”
“You might not be, but the rest of us are,” Scott counters. “And I think Deaton might be able to help give us some answers.”
“How could your boss possibly know what I am? Last time I checked, his specialty was dogs and cats, not were-people,” she says sarcastically.
“He knows a lot more than I do,” Scott tells her with a quickened tone. “Trust me. I think he can help.” He guides her to the back room where Deaton is already waiting. He has a small smile on his face as if he were already expecting them to come in.
"So," Deaton begins, his voice steady, “I hear you’ve had quite the night.”
Fallon offers a tired, sarcastic smirk. “You could say that.”
Scott, still trying to process everything himself, jumps in. “Deaton, you have to help her. She’s different. The way she shifted, the strength—everything’s just... different.”
Deaton’s brow furrows slightly as he looks from Scott to Fallon, his eyes narrowing thoughtfully. “Different how?”
Fallon shifts in her spot, rubbing her hands together anxiously. “I don’t know… It was like I couldn’t control it at first, but then, when I finally did, it was… intense.” She hesitates, searching for the right words. “It felt like the moon was... in me. Not just influencing me but actually... fueling me. I don’t know how else to explain it.”
Deaton leans back slightly, a rare hint of intrigue flickering across his normally composed face. “The moon was fueling you?”
Scott nods enthusiastically. “It’s not like how I turn, Deaton. She—she’s different. Like, stronger.” He pauses, “And her eyes are purple!”
Deaton moves toward one of his bookshelves, pulling down a heavy, worn tome. He places it gently on the table, opening it with care as Fallon and Scott lean in, trying to catch a glimpse of whatever knowledge the pages hold.
“I’ve read about something like this before,” Deaton says, flipping through the pages. “But only in legends. The kind of thing passed down through the ages, not meant to be believed, just stories.”
Scott’s eyes widen as he stares at the book. “Legends?”
Deaton stops on a page filled with intricate drawings and old, faded text. “Lunar Sentinels. Guardians of the moon’s power. Werewolves unlike any others, tied directly to the lunar cycle. But not just influenced by it—amplified by it. The moon’s energy flows through them, granting them heightened abilities, strength, and instincts.”
Fallon blinks, trying to absorb the gravity of what Deaton was saying. “So… that’s me? I’m a Lunar Sentinel?”
Deaton nods slowly. “It’s incredibly rare. I’ve never encountered one in my lifetime. I’ve only read about them in texts like this, and even these are more legend than fact. Most werewolves don’t have such a strong connection to the moon, but you... you’re different.”
Scott shakeshis head in disbelief. “Wait, so Fallon’s... like a werewolf, but more powerful?”
“Not necessarily more powerful, but... unique.” Deaton explains. “She’s directly tied to the moon’s energy, which can give her abilities other werewolves don’t have, particularly during certain phases of the moon. But with that power comes unpredictability.”
Fallon’s brows furrow. “Unpredictability?”
Deaton closes the book softly, his gaze meeting hers. “The stronger the connection to the moon, the more volatile it can be. You’ll need to learn control, Fallon, perhaps even more than Scott did. The moon’s phases will affect you differently, and you may find yourself stronger during full moons... and more vulnerable during new moons.”
Scott rubs the back of his neck, still processing. “So, what do we do? How do we help her?”
Deaton smiles faintly. “You’ll need to train, both of you. Fallon will have to learn how to harness this power, how to control it. The strength that comes with being a Lunar Sentinel is a gift, but without control, it could be dangerous.”
Fallon swallows, her heart pounding in her chest. The weight of everything is now suddenly overwhelming. She never asked for this, never wanted it, but now it was hers. The idea of being something so rare, so powerful, scared her as much as it intrigued her.
Scott reaches out and places a comforting hand on her shoulder. “You’re not alone in this, Fall. We’ll figure it out together.”
She nods, feeling a surge of gratitude for Scott’s unwavering support. “Thanks, Scott. I... I appreciate it.”
Deaton, ever the calm guide, stands once more. “I’ll look into more information about Lunar Sentinels, but for now, just focus on grounding yourself. The moon may fuel you, but you are in control of your own power.”
As they turn to leave, Scott couldn’t help but glance back at Deaton one last time. “This is crazy. We’re really dealing with something... legendary here, huh?”
Deaton smiles knowingly. “In Beacon Hills, Scott, legends have a way of becoming reality.”

Returning home from the animal clinic felt odd to Fallon. She doesn’t know what to do with all this newfound information about herself. She barely even knew what to tell her dad about her disappearing after the formal. Thankfully, Chris Argent gave her and Scott a pretty good alibi, despite the older man pretty much hating Scott.
She collapses onto her bed, her eyes going straight up to the ceiling, “I’m a werewolf…” she mumbles.
“That’s one way to come to terms with it.”
Fallon shoots up in her bed, eyes widening as she sees Derek just casually sitting in her desk chair. He gently closes the book he was reading, his eyes meeting hers with their usual stoic glare. Yet his words have some sort of playfulness to them.
““Jesus, Derek!” she yelps, clutching her chest. “Can’t you knock like a normal person?”
He shrugs, his usual intense stare is locked on her. “I needed to see you,” he explains shortly.
Fallon rolls her eyes, her pulse still racing from the jumpscare. “Well, you scared the crap out of me. One of these days, you're going to actually give me a heart attack.”
Derek’s expression softens ever so slightly, but his eyes hold the weight of everything that had happened. “I wanted to apologize.”
Fallon frowns, crossing her arms. Apologizing isn’t exactly Derek’s thing, so whatever this is, it has to be serious. “Apologize? For what?”
“For killing Peter in front of you,” he says quietly, standing from the chair and taking a step towards her. “And for not being able to stop you from getting bitten.”
The sincerity in his voice hits her like a punch to the gut. Fallon shakes her head, trying to brush it off. “Derek, you don’t have to apologize. Peter was a psycho. I’m not exactly losing any sleep over him being dead.”
Derek’s jaw tightens, and he glances down as if weighing his next words carefully. “Still... I should’ve protected you better.”
Fallon huffs, sitting down on the edge of her bed. “I don’t need protecting, Derek. And, in case you forgot, you were kind of busy getting your ass kicked at the time. I’m not exactly holding it against you.”
Derek looked back up at her, his eyes searching hers. “You’re taking this better than I expected.”
“Being bitten and turned into a werewolf? Oh yeah, piece of cake,” Fallon remarks sarcastically, though the smile on her face told a different story. She rubs the back of her neck, trying to ease the tension. “I mean, it’s a lot to process, sure. But it’s not like I can change what happened. So, I just have to deal with it.”
Derek’s lips twitched slightly, a ghost of a smile. “You’re handling it better than most would.”
“Well, I’ve had good company,” Fallon replies, smirking. “Plus, Deaton gave me some... interesting news today.”
“About what you are?”
“Yeah,” she says, nodding, the weight of the information still settling in her mind. “Apparently, I’m not just a regular werewolf. I’m a Lunar Sentinel.”
Derek’s brow furrows, though Fallon can see a flicker of recognition in his eyes. “A Lunar Sentinel?”
“Yep, a living myth,” Fallon says with a wry smile. “Deaton said they’re rare. You know, super special. No big deal.” She shrugs with a polite brag.
Derek crosses his arms, leaning against her desk. “He’s right. Lunar Sentinels are rare... almost unheard of.”
Fallon raises an eyebrow, her grin widening. “So, you’re telling me I’m one of a kind?”
Derek’s lips quirk into a faint smile. “Always were.”
Fallon snorts. “Right. Because if there’s anything I needed on top of this whole werewolf drama, it’s a mystical title and the weight of centuries-old legends hanging over my head.”
“You’ll figure it out,” Derek says surely. “You always do.”
“I guess,” Fallon shrugs, a playful glint in her eyes. “But seriously, if I’d known turning into a werewolf would come with this much responsibility, I might’ve considered running a little faster when Peter came at me and Lydia.”
Derek’s expression shifts to something softer, almost amused. “You didn’t run.”
“Yeah, well...” Fallon waves a hand. “Maybe I should’ve.”
Derek shakes his head, stepping closer to her. “You don’t run from anything.”
Fallon glances up at him, her smirk softening into something more genuine. “Neither do you.”
For a moment, they stand in comfortable silence, the tension between them gone, replaced by something else. Something lighter.
“So,” Fallon says, breaking the silence, “are you done lurking in my room, or...?”
Derek smirks. “I don’t lurk.”
“Sure, you don’t,” Fallon teases. “Next time, try knocking. It’s a pretty standard practice among normal humans.”
“I’ll consider it,” Derek replies, the faintest hint of a smile on his face.
Fallon can’t help but laugh. “You’re impossible.”
“You’re the one that keeps letting me in,” he shoots back, his eyes flicking over her face before softening again. "But seriously, if you ever need help... with the transition, the shifting, any of it... I'm here."
Fallon nods, her teasing demeanor melting away for a moment. “Thanks, Derek.”
Derek gives her one last lingering look before turning to leave, but Fallon calls after him. “And next time, I better hear a knock!”
Derek’s only response is a faint chuckle as he disappears through the window.

Can all my Teen wolf and sterek people gather around real quick.
So what if Scott's pack and Derek all accidentally traveled back in time to when their parents went to school in Beacon Hills.
Now here's my version of this.
Claudia and Talia are soul sister besties. Claudia was just like Stiles, hyperactive, a spaz, short attention span, adhd, etc (also a freaking spark). Talia, was this cool werewolf future alpha girl with a hyperactive puppy for a best friend. (They would totally gossip and talk about Lydia's mom behind her back)
Noah (Stiles dad) was a loner. He was awkward. Couldn't talk to a woman to save his life (Claudia obviously made the first move). He was more invested in criminal law and mysteries.
Marissa (Scott's mom) was in her own corner. She briefly met Claudia and talked to her once or twice.
Lydia's mom (idk her name) was smart but played dumb and all that jass to win the hot guy.
I'm also thinking Peter definitely had a crush on Claudia when he was a kid during this time since she would babysit him a lot.
Claudia and Deaton are also besties and emissaries in training.
The Argent family are in Beacon Hills (I personally would not know how this would go but in intrigued)
Claudia and Talia are exactly like Scott and Stiles and getting into all sorts of trouble and adventures with Deaton at their side and hiding the secrets of the supernatural.
And all of Scott's pack plus Derek gets to see how their parents know each other and have met along with their adventures.
Let me know your version of this and enjoy

Cosmic Chaos
Chapter 30
Tumblr media
.→✒️:★: ͜͡✿͜͡ →. Hey guys hope y'all doing good, stay hydrated and have good reading.
Series prev next
Came back from death seemingly with no change to the naked eye all while standing at the edge of a firece sea strom and endless nothing. Allison confession and regret and bonnies heartache melting by your reassurance. Grams emphasizes that their trio—human, werewolf, and celestial witch—will make history .Fleeting happiness comes as night guest sharing soft tender kiss with Issac and unexpected grumpy wolf to share your thoughts.
Tumblr media
You walk inside, closing the door behind you. Pausing at the window, you glance outside—and as you expected, Derek is there, watching. The moment he sees you, his stance relaxes. He lingers for a few moments before vanishing into the night
“Wow nephew must be so worried? And you got a new boy toy and you didn’t even tell me.” Peter says sitting on your bed with faux hurt look on his cocky face.
Closing the window you silently walking back to your bed intend to not give the attention to your new roommate.
“I thought we were closer than this?” peter turns towards you watching you as you get comfortable under your bedsheet.  “Are you on your nonverbal moods, well I have something you might wanna hear about.”
You pause, at that sitting up straight at slight seriousness in his voice “You know the vampires they killed a girl last night?”
“What?” your eye widens scotting closer to him “Who died?” you quickly take your phone beside you sending frantic texts to all your friends Haley, Lydia, Allison, even the girls you were once acquainted with.
“Someone named Viki? Yeah Viki” peter leans back against the wall, sighing
“Vicki Donovan?” you stop texting turning to peter confused and worried “How?”
Peter eyes glisten with mischievous “Oh the drama that vent down, she was turned by the damon, love that guy, but he is bit full of himself.” You raise your brow at that “So she tired to bite this melena.”
“Elena”
“Yeah, that one. So, she tried to bite her brother and then tried to kill the girl and the two vampires killed the girl, a stake through her heart really cliché. But whatever right.” he says so freely for a moment you feel like this is prank but you see no reason for him to do so.
“What?” peter frown at your question sitting dumbly at head of the bed. “I mean how did you know?”
“Because I’m dead, and dead people can see another dead especially supernatural beings.” He answers.
You look around you “is she here?”
He rolls his eyes “No.”
“How many people have died actually now?”
Peter shrugs “three or four, I didn’t count.” Peter doesn’t comment on your side eye. “Anyway, are you really going to be associated with the Argents.?”
“Peter-.”
“No, I wanna know are you stupid or acting like one. You know what the Argents did 11 of us died including humans because of them.” the edge in his voice starts to gets high his jaw clenching and unclenching.
“Because of kate Argent, not because Chris, not Allison. You heard him he didn’t know.”
Peter scoffs “Well apple doesn’t fall far from tree, is it?” you sigh before scotting closer to him sitting beside him you give him a moment to clam as clam he can be before speaking.
“I…me saying sorry doesn’t change anything or ease what you had gone through or bring back the years you lost, your family that you lost. How you spend all those days I can’t even imagine what I would do. You did what right in your eyes though killing your niece wasn’t a good idea but you did all for vengeance and you had your vengeance you killed those who was involved in that,
“I still have to kill your teacher Harris, ask derek to do that.”
You closed your eyes for a moment, telling yourself to calm down and not punch him in the face “and your resentment against the Argent is reasonable but you can’t expect me to do the same and Allison and Chris Argent are innocent.”
You turn to look at him seeing already looking at you search his eyes and face seeing that he still intends to listen you “And for the sake of scott and derek, a proper talk with them is long overdue. I am not asking you be all buddy buddy with them, just don’t tear their throat. A war only bleeds another war and frankly I’m really tired of all this, I don’t want any of my friends or family get hurt.”
You glance at him again “I’m not asking you to forgive and forget, just please try not kill each other, when I bring you back.” You channel your inner sam Winchester puppy eyes.
That if you can
Peter cold eyes doesn’t flinch at your earnest pleading look you’re giving him; he exhales before nodding silently you sigh in relief falling back on your bed “Now I need to figure out how the hell I would do that.” You whine into your pillow peter look amused at shift standing up letting you get comfortable on your bed he walks towards the head of the bed glancing down at you despite the grin on his face something akin to softens linger on his face.
“No need to worry, your pretty little head. I’ll guide you.” you look up at him in confusion “Go sleep. Be ready tomorrow morning.”
“Whatever.” You grumble closing your eyes before you knew it, you’re out like light Peter sigh taking the blanket he lay it over you tucking you in.
The next morning you get your wound redressed by melissa by yourself, stiles and scott wanted to stay home with you today but you didn’t want them to miss the  class. And it’s not like you’re alone Peter pops up every now and then he’s been pissed off since you said no to his plan that involved getting your friends hurt now you don’t know where he is.
That doesn’t mean you’re alone either because derek calls you from his new number saying he’s near, along with hundred questions of why you were at Mellissa and where is the two idiots in his words you switch put him on mute when started to get demanding who does he think he is before walking towards the Argents.
Tumblr media
Derek almost wants bang his head against the tree as he watched you switch your phone to silent ignoring his call with side eye but he can’t risk anyone seeing him out in public. So, he settles into but the self-preservation gets thrown out the window when he realizes you’re walking towards the Argents house.
Before you can reach the house gate, derek pulls you back “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
“Good morning to you, and also why the hell are you so demanding?” you rip his hands of you smoothing down your dress and fixing your hair.  “I know I said we would be friends but be demanding like this I will shove mountain ash down your throat and your ass.” You check your wound dressing he pulled you a little to hard.
Derek sense the pure irritation sweeps through your natural scent he frowns at your words and guilt creeping inside as you fix your dressing. “I’m sorry.” He mutters “but can you tell why are you here?”
You cross your arms, looking him up and down. His voice is calmer now—no longer demanding, but filled with worry “Allison’s dad said he wanted to talk to me.”
“Why?” he cast a suspicious look at the house before looking at you again “Why can’t they come to your house or at the grills or something?”
“I came on my own violation, she didn’t say I must come to her. they might be afraid of grams or something. chill for second.” You open the gate but derek close it.
“You can’t go alone.” You sigh in annoyance.
“Wait here, then.” You try to open again but he doesn’t budge “Now what?” he fixes you with hardened look.
Chris Argent was expecting to meet up with you and apologies on the behalf of his now dead sister whose funeral will be held tomorrow as they wait for the arrival of his father. But he wasn’t expecting you show up at his doorstep especially with derek Hale on your toe.
“I tried to lose him, but it didn’t work.” That’s the first thing you say before greeting him. he opens the door for the two of you. “I’m sorry for coming unannounced but I just wanna get this over with before I go back to school.”
Chris wave off “No need to apologies, I should have visited you sooner Allison said she talked with you.” he pulls a chair for you to sit before opening the fridge taking out cranberry juice bottle pouring you a glass Derek’s eyes follow him all his move making you sigh inside at least they aren’t threatening each other.
Before you can take the juice derek takes it sniffing it looking awfully suspicious at the drink and Chirs “He’s still learning basic manners…...” you glance at Chris embarrassed “he’s very slow learner.”  “But yeah, we talked, we are good.”
“I don’t blame him” Chris lean against the counter “I know sorry doesn’t cut it, but I’m terribly sorry for what my sister did. What my daughter did.”
“It wasn’t her fault, it happened. We are good now Mr. argent.” You offer him a smile “You don’t need to worry.”
He nods “still I wanted apologies on their behalf, how is the wound healing?”
You look at your wound area “It healing well actually. Scott’s mom basically appointed herself as my personal nurse.”
“Good.”
“Mr. Argent”
“You can call me Chris.” He cut you off
“Yeah…you’re not going to hurt Scott or derek right?” you slowly voiced your concern making derek and Chris look at you and each other.
He stands straight “We…we go by code” he says you name with sincerity “We don’t hunt innocent creatures, and I didn’t realize that someone in this family would go behind my back and break the code.” Derek scoff at that making you slightly kick him in the shin.
Chris looks at derek “and it cost you all your family. I’m sorry it happened to your family. I didn’t know my sister would do that.”
Derek’s jaw clenches he feels tug on his shirt looking down he sees your pleading eyes, he exhales “I’ll be outside.” With that he leaves.
“I understand” Chris says to you, nodding you stands up “I would offer ride to home, but I don’t think he will like that.”
“Yeah.”
“it’s good to see you up and awake.” Chris says walking you out.
You pause by the door “I’m sorry for your loss, Chirs. I really wish yesterday didn’t went down like way it did.”
Though he did a pretty good job at keeping his emotions at bay his eyes held trace of grieving in them, you were sure even though the truth of his sister’s betrayal and cruelty made him change in few on his sister, it was still his sister at the end of the day and he is grieving his sister in his own way.
“Yeah, me too.”
You linger around “What is it?” Chris questions
“I know you have way of covering up everything, but the sheriff knows who’s behind the fire.” You answer “You can’t cover up this, it won’t be fair to those who were murdered in the fire.” The words didn’t come out biting but rather clam and pleading, Chris nods.
"I won’t let my family repeat the same mistakes," Chris said, jaw tight. "No more senseless bloodshed."
The leaves crunch under your boot, the weather pleasant with cool breeze and its not too hot right now, you and derek have been walking around the wood for few minutes until the two of you reach his home.
“So, being an alpha how is it?”
Derek shrugs “empowering.”
“Right.” you nod looking around derek turns to you, you been awfully silent throughout the walk and you accompanied for what reason he doesn’t know it not like you’re keeping eye on him it was his do list.
“What’s going on?” he finally asks sensing something there is you want to say but you’re hesitating.
You gaze up to confused “What?” “nothing” you walk pass him inside the house looking around the destroyed house.
“You been quiet, which is very unlike you.” he prods following you.
“For your information, I’m a quite person in reality. you just make me bring out my crazy side.” You shrug, behind you a grin tugs on his lips his eyes following your figure until he picks up your distress in your scent.
“I find it hard to believe.”  He gently pulls you before you walk inside the house “Tell me what’s going on.”  You hesitate for moment his eyes trace the exhaustion on your face now being visible.
You sit on stair “I’m seeing peter.”
“What?” he frowns walking closer his arms crossed.
You nod playing with your fingers “He was in my head when I was in hospital, still he is.  I see him, he talks to him.”
“What do you mean he’s in your head.?” confusion evident in his voice.
You heave a sigh “He’s somehow latched on to me. I’m his backup plan to come back to life, he even has plan in which I knock you out during one full moon perform a ritual using your blood bring peter back.”
Derek doesn’t know what to say but he knows his uncle would go in to such length keep his neck unscratched. But you somehow getting caught in that web.
“Is that why you came now?” he looks at you warily his stance rigid.
You look at him offended “No, I wanted to tell you all this. that’s why I came, trust me if I wanted beat your ass, I would’ve done it a lot sooner.”
He nods he goes sit down next you making you scoot away rolling his eyes at your pettiness he doesn’t say anything about it “What makes him so sure about that you can do it?” derek feel like today’s not his best says as you throw him another deeply offended glance and side eye. “I mean you’re still learning, right?”
You scoff “right.” you wrap your hands around your knees “but he seems so sure I can do it. say stuff like he knows that I can, and that he knows about my power more than me and he’s right about that.”
He glances at your face more perplexed “What do you mean?”
“Well, you can say he pulled me out my own personal hell.” You let a laugh that lacked any humor making. Derek waits patiently beside you.
“I been having these dreams or vison sort of thing about a woman, her life, her pain and suffering every time.” derek eyes catches how your hands tremble, you move your hands around to hide it.
There are tears on your water line “and it’s not just I’m seeing these things, but I was living it night and night again. I felt her happiness, her joy but I also felt the anguish, her grief. Her parents, her brother, lover, kids, her friends, everyone she lost i feel it all.”
Your voice starts to get broken “I felt it all and it was awful.” Your chest starts to heave “I couldn’t figure out what is wrong with me. And so much going on I didn’t know what to do. And I started to stay up and it helped. But when I was at hospital it all came rushing ten folded.”
You inhale running your hands through your hair “But peter saved me somehow, he said I have to bring him back from death.”
Derek sits silent for a moment he isn’t familiar with consoling people, is that what he should he do or should he ask questions? He’s brightest when it comes to dealing with others in distress.
“How long has been going on? Do you still see her? did you sleep last night? Who was she?” derek asks maybe he should’ve kept his mouth shut he thinks to himself.
though he fired multiple questions all at once his voice was low almost like a whisper, he fears if he asks any louder you wouldn’t tell what you been experiencing, he’s trying so hard not shake you and get answers of what’s causing you this much distress.
“Shouldn’t we focus on where I said we bring back peter to life.”
Derek shakes his head “No, tell what happened to you.” you chuckle at his honest quick answer.
“If you don’t think I’m crazy this might certainly change your perspective.” Derek eyes bore into yours for answers. “Her name is Wanda, Wanda Maximoff. She is me, a version of me that exist in another universe."
Derek, as part of supernatural being knew that the world and life that he is living goes beyond him to few months ago, he thought vampires were wiped out but there are vampires left and right and new ones popping day by day, so it not really a farfetched idea that there are other worlds universes like his exists.
His face remains unchanged as he only asks another question “Do you still hear her screams?”
You shake your head “No, its all silent now but I do see her sometimes here and there but she helps me.”
“She does? How?” you’re quick to stand up patting off the dust in your dress “What are you up to?”
“Just you wait.” You flex your hands the red mist foaming a large orb soon you throw a blast at the side making derek jump on his feet soon the area you hit starts become new you conjure up more and more you let the glow branch out reach around nook and crane of the house and soon the charted house starts to reshape, remold and rebuild itself into unscratched and unscraped brand new house.
You pants hunched down catching your breath as rest of the mist sweep back inside you “How do you like the new look?” you ask the start struck derek who taken his home, now its truly his home.  “Its not entirely fixed” you wheeze out seeing the celling taking longer to change but it’s a progress. “Didn’t knew I could pull it off actually.” You confess feeling contented.
“She taught you this?” he gulps touch walls fearing it will fade but it doesn’t he press him palm firmly on it.
You nod happily “Among other things yes.”  “So, what’s your thought on bringing him back.” You ask nervously.
"We’ll find another way," Derek said firmly. "You’re not his puppet, and I won’t let him use you."
You frown at that letting your hands fall limply on your side “if it’s not me it will be someone else. Peter chose me instead of Lydia because he knew I could do it faster. He said I have abilities I haven't even begun to understand. And he's right."
“Why would you do that? After everything he had done, to you, your friends.” He scowls at you with his squinted eyes.
You look at annoyed “He knows more about my power, I don’t know what he saw but whatever it is he’s been helping, teaching me and…...I need to learn, everyone will around me will soon die.” You said so simply and defeatedly as if you already know it’s the truth. “And I have to stop it, I have to learn or…or I’ll become.” Derek takes hold of your shoulders halting your ranting whispering your name with softness you didn’t know he had neither he.
“Whatever you saw it’s not the real, it was just a dream, no one’s going to die.” He locks his eyes with yours. You shake your head at him.
“No, you don’t understand, only he can help me. I already lost so much in another life time and it came back haunting me. if I let it repeat, I would lose everything all over again. I can’t do that…. it’s not a dream. I saw what happened to her. I saw grams…. i saw grams dying and I couldn’t do anything…grams.” derek wipe your tears that’s falling he thinks you don’t even realize that you had started to sniffle and then full-on sobbing in his arms right now, and it scares him that you saw something that made you shake this much in his hold that you don’t have sense of yourself.
Cradling your head he brings you closer to him, wrapping his one hands around your back while other cradle your head shushing you as you sob into his chest, pushing your face on his chest to hide your tears your hands wrap around his back holding on to dear life.
Just then his vision gets blurred he sees visions, images of Grams death, bonnie waling pierce his ears, he sees her shaking screaming at her grams to open her eyes. He can feel waves of grief pulling him down his hands shaking, bonnie turns to him yelling your name. he turns to mirror on the wall only to see a scared tear stained you looking back.
Derek stumble back his hands tighten around you, his breathes are rapid, heart beating out his chest. He stands straight propping you up as well. He gets more anxious when your head fall back you falling limp in his arms that bring back an ill feeling.
He becomes even more disturbed when he catches the glimpse of peter standing few feet away his eyes fixed on your slumped figure in his hands ,they lock eyes for a second but he fades away just as quickly.
He sighs and takes you in his arms, careful not to let your head hung back he adjust that your head is laying on his chest, walking to his room for a moment he forgot that you just magically rebuild his house he was worried he might have to set you down on the dirty floor to making something comfortable lay you down, but now walking into his new room with perfect painted and painted and decorated room give him whiplash.
He set you down on his bed gently and making sure your hands aren’t in odd angle take off your boot he pulls the blanket over you. His eyes catch stray tear on your cheeks, gently as he could he wipe it away, in fear of waking you up he tucks your fallen hair away from your face.
He cast you one last glance before closing the door behind him first things first there is something really troubling you and cunning as ever Peter seems to know more about what you going through. The first solution he though would be calling any hunter or priest to condemn peter eternity in hell but knowing, he might just crawl out.
Walking downstairs, he finds your phone laying on last step he takes it and there are couple of texts from your friends most of them being from stiles and one name that he’s now all too familiar for him.
A question lingers in his mind what did he saw? Was it a vision of future or something that peter made up to manipulate you?
But the pain felt too real to brush it off.

Saw another fandom have their fun with picker wheel and it gave me this idea so... Teem Wolf fam! Spin the wheel and see what you got and then reblog with 100 words written about this/starting from this!
Saying what you got optional, making what you got unclear in your drabble mischievously approved by Stiles Stilinski.

I just wanted to have a bit of fun with the incorrect quote generator, and on the first go, it created the most beautiful thing
Noah: Do you love Chris?
Peter: Yeah, I do.
Noah: Eric! I told you! You owe me 100 bucks!
Eric: We all love Chris. You should've asked if he was IN love with him.
Peter: I thought that was implied.
Eric: …
Noah: …
Peter, looking straight at Eric: Congrats Noah, you just won 100 bucks.

TW Dilfs - first kiss headcanons
Teen wolf dilfs.. and your first kiss
Feat. Peter, Chris, Sheriff, Deucalion, Derek, Jordan
AO3 | Fanfic Masterlist | Request Rules | Fic Trades Guide
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Peter
He initiates
Peter is a man who knows what he wants, and so when he wants you, he does what else he’s known for - getting what he wants. He flirts for a while, playing as he would with anyone else, but when he develops feelings for you he starts taking things more seriously. He kisses you after a pack meeting, one where the pack were being particularly harsh about his being there, and he decides he’s done waiting. If he wants to feel secure, he needs you now.
Chris
He initiates
It happens after a fight. Chris has lost so much in his life, is intimately familiar with it like it’s an old friend. So, when you have a close call with the monster of the week, he’s at your side in an instant, checking you over and making sure you’re going to be okay. You reassure him, but it isn’t enough. His lips are on yours before either of you realise what’s happening, but when he pulls away and attempts to apologise, you pull him right back in for another.
Noah
You initiate
It happens on a perfectly normal day. He had work, you took him lunch, just to make sure he wasn’t over working himself. Of course he was, but his care for his community was one of the things you liked about him. You hadn’t even thought about it, as you left after sharing his short lunch break, you kissed his temple. Both of you paused, hesitating, processing what you’d done. He looked up at you and a simple ‘you missed’ had you both feeling twenty years younger, and you of course obliged and kissed him properly.
Tumblr media
Derek
You initiate
It happens after a fight, while you’re both cooling down and settling in at home. You’d both already showered and changed into your sleeping clothes. He passed by you in the hall and stopped you with a hand on your shoulder. He checked in, making sure you were doing okay. You’d been pining for each other for a while, and you were tired of waiting for him to make the first move. You kissed him, thanking him for being so kind, and that night you didn’t go to bed alone. Nothing untoward happened, you just held each other, assuring yourselves that this was real.
Deucalion
He initiates
It happens during season five, when Deucalion returns to help deal with Theo and the dread doctors. You’d not seen him in over a year, and it was just too good to be reunited. Once his acting was done, and you were reunited, he wasted no time in pulling you close and pressing your lips together. He’d hesitated when he saw you last, but he wouldn’t now.
Jordan
You initiate
It happens when he comes to see you after work. It’s sweet and gentle. He gets off shift and comes to spend the evening with you as friends, and he brings food with him. You’d not asked him to, so it surprises you. You kiss him as a thanks, both of you shy about it, and then you spend the evening watching movies as planned, but now holding hands.

Episode 9
Life has definitely improved for Fallon. The dangerous night in the school didn’t have any long-lasting impacts on her leg, so now she has her cast off. Michael was relieved to know that she wouldn’t need to have it on any longer than necessary. Unfortunately, he did get more strict after that night. She thought she was on a tight leash before, but now she can only go somewhere if there’s confirmation by Melissa or Noah that Stiles or Scott will be there. Hence why she’s now in the woods, following after the two boys, freckles having a large bottle of Jack Daniel’s in his hand.
None of their parents know they left Stiles’ house… but what they don’t know won’t hurt them. They’re all working tonight anyway.
Life was slowly returning to normal, or at least some version of it. She tries to interject in the conversation the two are having ahead of her, but her mind has been too preoccupied with something the last couple of days. Derek Hale. She doesn’t know what happened to him, if he’s truly dead, where he is if he’s not. When she left the school with her father, the only thing she could think about was his Camaro and who would take it. She was tempted, but it would be nearly impossible to hide a whole vehicle from her father.
She grins as Stiles almost begins to slip, the golden liquid in the bottle sloshing around. Each side of the glass gets touched by the Tennessee whiskey, making the bottle itself look more murky than it actually is. How the boy managed to snag a bottle of liquor, Fallon wouldn’t know, she also wouldn’t ask. She was kind of relieved that he brought it. She knows that they’re there to help Scott feel better, but letting loose for the evening would do her some good too.
Fallon runs to catch up with the two, slinging her arms around their shoulders as they walk through the preserve. “Where are we going?” She asks Stiles curiously. “And how much of that are we actually gonna drink?” She questions. “Because if you stole it from your dad, it’s probably not a good idea to drink more than a quarter of it.”
“I am not answering either of those questions.”
Fallon snickers, accepting his secrecy. If he wants to risk getting himself in trouble with Noah, then she’s not going to stop him. Scott’s posture is slouched, hands dug deep into his pockets as he glances at his friends. “We really shouldn’t be out here. My mom is in a constant state of freak-out from what happened at the school.”
Stiles scoffs, waving the whiskey around in the air, “Well, your mom isn’t the sheriff, okay? There’s no comparison, trust me.”
“Okay, you both have got it way easier than you like to pretend to,” Fallon points out. “My dad literally won’t let me leave the house after dark. I can barely leave during the day unless I’m going to school. And he won’t let me out of his sight unless one of your parents tells him I’ll be with one of you at your house for the night,” she lists off her restrictions. “Meanwhile, you have a bottle of Jack Daniel’s and your dad thinks we’re at his place watching a movie.” She sends Stiles a pointed look. “Doesn’t seem too overwhelming to me.”
“Shut up,” Stiles shoves her arm off of him and into Scott. The latter laughs at Stiles’ reaction to Fallon’s words.
“Can you at least tell us what we’re doing out here?” Scott requests.
“Yes!” Stiles nods. “When one your best friends gets dumped–”
“I didn’t get dumped,” Scott interrupts, suddenly getting defensive. “We’re taking a break.”
“So were Rachel and Ross,” Fallon teases with a smirk. “Trust me on this, breaks are never just breaks. The only break there is, is a break-up.”
Fallon’s never been one to believe in the benefits of “taking a break.” She doesn’t deny that it probably works for some couples, but in her opinion, all it is is just a less harsh term for the reality of the situation. A break-up. It allows both parties to live in a fantasy world where they’ll wait for one another until they improve themselves. When that’s never actually the case. Perhaps she’s this cynical because she’s never been in love, and her opinion could be based on nothing but bitter seventeen-year-old thoughts. But until she’s proven wrong, she’s going to stick with her negativity.
“No–”
“All right,” Stiles stops the conversation before Scott gets upset and storms off. “Well, when your best friend gets told by his girlfriend that they’re taking a break…” he lifts the bottle in the air, “you get your best friend drunk.”
Stiles stops in the middle of a clearing, a small rock sitting in the dead center. The tree branches whistle in the wind creating a calming atmosphere for the three. The breeze feels nice on Fallon’s skin as she plops down in the leaves next to Stiles. She immediately leans back, staring up at the sky. As usual, her eyes were drawn to the moon. The harsh reality of the full moon being tomorrow hits her like a truck when she notices the waxing gibbous hanging beautifully above them. She briefly glances at Scott, the same frown he’s had on his face since getting in the jeep still present. She hopes it’s more to do with Allison than his impending face-off with the man in the moon.
Stiles pops the lid off of the liquor and takes a satisfying swig. The whiskey bounces around, the amber color almost matching the small flecks in Stiles’ eyes. She watches as he cringes slightly as the liquid burns his throat, but she can tell by the small smile on his face that he likes it. He holds it out towards Fallon and Scott for them to have some. His grins drops slightly when he notices Scott not making any effort to take the bottle. Fallon wasn’t planning on drinking too much due to not wanting a hangover, but the things she does for Stiles. She makes grabby hands, carefully taking the bottle of whiskey and throwing it back like it’s nothing. Scott and Stiles watch with wide eyes, not expecting her to let loose like that. They’ve seen her drink before but only very little at social gatherings.
Being friends with Lydia and Jackson as well as being one of the best players on the lacrosse team came with things like parties and drinking. Fallon didn’t have an addiction or anything of the sorts, she knows when to drink and when not to and she always does it responsibly. Her first time drinking taught her that lesson. She crashed in Jackson’s backyard on a lawn chair. The next morning she woke up with a gnarly hangover, a terrible case of cottonmouth, and a plethora of mosquito bites. So now when she engages with any form of alcohol, she doesn’t do it to get drunk. Just a slight buzz.
She enjoyed the warmth the whiskey provided her. She likes the burning sensation it leaves as it cascades down her throat, pooling in her stomach. She wipes a drop off the corner of her mouth, licking the excess off her finger before handing it back to Stiles.
The pale boy once again tries to offer the liquor to Scott, but he silently shakes his head in response. Stiles scoffs, taking another large sip before laying down next to Fallon. “Y’know you are sitting here with a giant bottle of Jack Daniel’s, which we got for free by the way, and your two best friends. One of which is a hot female who has apparently kissed you. This is like any teenage boy's wet dream,” he rambles off, the small amount of whiskey he’s had already making him tipsy.
Scott looks at Fallon in shock, “You told him?”
She huffs, “Well– I– yeah…” she shrugs. “It wasn’t that big of a deal. And plus, when I told him, I thought he’d be able to keep it to himself, but I guess I was wrong.” She glares over at Stiles who’s too busy taking another drink to worry about her being mad.
“If anyone should be upset, it’s me,” Stiles puts his finger in the air to emphasize his point. “I’m the only one here who hasn’t been kissed by Fallon.”
“You’re the only other person here,” the brunette points out. “I’m not walking around kissing myself, Stiles. And it’s not like it happened more than once.”
“Well, I haven’t even gotten it once.”
“I already offered to kiss you!” She exclaims, taking the bottle out of his hand. She’s gonna need a lot more alcohol if she’s going to be able to keep up with drunk Stiles. “If you wanna cash that favor in now, I’ll be happy to fulfill my end.”
“Wait, you told him you would kiss him as a favor?” Scott furrows his eyebrows.
“Don't worry about it,” Fallon waves off, gulping down some more of the spicy liquid.
“No,” Stiles denies with an overdramatic shake of his head. “I’m gonna wait. It’s gonna be the perfect moment where you’ve completely forgotten about it when I cash that sucker in.”
“Great,” she holds the amber liquor in the air, nonverbally saying cheers to his statement before throwing her head back to coat her throat once more. “Looking forward to it.”
“Good,” Stiles adds. “And I’m expecting all the works. So you better always have that watermelon chapstick on hand,” he turns on his side to face her. “I want a whole fruit explosion.”
Fallon pauses for a moment. Her eyes soften when looking at him, “You know what kind of chapstick I use?”
The only reason this impacts her so strongly is that he asked what chapstick Lydia wore because he didn’t know before. But somehow he knows hers. How could he know Fallon’s but have no clue about the girl who is his total obsession.
Stiles shifts in his spot, sensing the sincere shift in the atmosphere. He scoffs out a laugh, taking the bottle back from her, “Uh, yeah,” he shrugs like it’s no big deal. “You apply it like every five minutes. It’s either that or raspberry.”
She knows that’s not true, and by the way he sucks down a good chunk of the bottle, he knows it too. But she’s not going to say anything, and Scott’s too depressed about Allison to worry about the odd moment shared between his two friends.
A couple minutes pass by, the three of them just enjoying each other's company. In that time, they managed to convince Scott to take a drink, but it doesn’t seem to be phasing him like it usually does. Scott isn’t necessarily a lightweight like the spaz head next to them, but he doesn’t have a tolerance like Fallon does either. Even then, she’s starting to border the line between tipsy and drunk as well and the bottle is only halfway gone.
At this point, Fallon’s head is resting comfortably on Stiles’ stomach, the boy running his hands through Fallon’s hair. The softness of her locks feels relaxing on his fingers. He looks up at Scott who hasn’t cheered up at all since being here. “Dude, you know... she's just one... one girl. You know, there are so many... there are so many other girls in the sea…” he mumbles drunkenly.
Scott sighs at his incapacitated friend, “Fish in the sea.” He corrects.
Stiles giggles, “Fish?” He asks, confused. “Why you talking about fish? I'm talking about girls. I love girls. I love ‘em. I love especially ones with strawberry blonde hair, green eyes, five-foot-three…”
“Like Lydia?” Scott says, not needing to do much to figure that one out.
“Yeah, exactly!” Stiles exclaims happily until his face falls with puzzlement. “Hey, how did you know what I was talking about… about…” He squints his eyes, “What was I talking about?”
Fallon flips on her stomach and off of Stiles when she notices Scott’s state. She holds the bottle up to him, “You’re not happy, Scotty. Take a drink. It’ll take the edge off.”
He shakes his head, “I don’t want anymore,” he denies moodily.
“Okay,” she smiles at him brightly. “No means no, and we don’t peer pressure here,” she giggles before slapping her hand over her mouth. She stares at the bottle, slowly pushing it away from her so she doesn’t try to drink anymore. As soon as she starts giggling, that’s when it’s time to stop. The next phase is confusing her rights from her lefts and that’s the last thing she wants to do when sitting in the middle of the woods.
“You’re not drunk?” Stiles wonders.
Scott shakes his head, “I’m not anything.”
“That’s very dark,” Fallon frowns. “You are something, Scotty.” She scoots closer to him, laying her head on his lap now. “You’re our best friend, and if Allison is too blind to see that you were trying to save her, then she doesn’t deserve you.”
Scott wants to defend Allison, but he can’t bring himself to do it. He looks at Fallon, and he doesn’t know how, but he can sense the protectiveness wafting off of her. He can feel how much she wants to keep his heart safe. He then takes Stiles’ job, lightly playing with her hair. She closes her eyes and hums, enjoying the feeling of her hair being messed with.
“Hey, maybe it's like... maybe it's like not needing your inhaler anymore, you know? Maybe you can't get drunk as a wolf?” Stiles says, pursing his lips. “Am I drunk?”
“You’re wasted.”
“Yeah!” Fallon rubs Scott’s words into Stiles’ face, reminding the former of a toddler.
“You’re just as bad,” Scott informs her, making the girl pout.
She defiantly shakes her head, “Nuh uh. I can still tell my rights from my lefts,” she then proceeds to raise her left hand when saying right and her right hand when saying left. “See?”
Scott’s lips form in a tight line, “That’s your right hand, Fall. Not your left.”
Her triumphant expression fades, “Damn it,” she grumbles, laying back down on Scott’s legs.
“Come on, dude. I know it feels bad. I know it hurts. I know.” He pauses before realizing his lack of knowledge on the subject area. “...Well, I don't know.” Fallon starts giggling as he continues, “But I know this-- I know that as much as being broken up hurts, being alone is way worse.”
The brunette girl hiccups, still trying to contain her chuckles. “That didn’t make any sense.”
“I need a drink!” Stiles exclaims, rolling over to reach the whiskey. But it was yanked away by a foreign hand before Stiles could even grab it.
“Well, look at the three little bitches getting their drink on.”
Fallon goes to stand up, suddenly much more sober than she was three seconds ago. “What did you just say?”
Scott is quick to pull her back down, the men laughing at her tenacity. “Would you look at that, Unger? Little princess here’s got teeth.”
Scott glares at the two of them, nodding at the bottle. “Give it back,” he demands firmly.
“What’s that little man?” The one they just learned was named Unger says.
“I think he wants a drink,” his friend responds, amused.
“I want the bottle,” Scott responds, his voice steady.
Stiles sits up nervously, pulling Fallon closer to him to keep her safe, “Scott, maybe we should just go…”
Scott glowers at the two older men, “You brought me here to get drunk, Stiles. I’m not drunk yet.” The man holding the bottle scoffs, taking a drink of the whiskey. Scott moves closer to them, “Give me the bottle.” His head tilts down a bit and that’s when Fallon sees a glimpse of yellow in his eyes. A small growl erupts from his throat, “Give me the bottle of Jack.”
She taps Stiles, “He’s wolfing out,” she whispers. “We need to go. Now.”
His fangs slowly start to poke out from his upper lip, the sideburns growing in on the side of his face. They both watch as he digs his claws into his hands, low snarls leaving his mouth. Stiles goes to stand up, “Scott…” he warns.
The man holding the bottle shakes as he doesn’t understand what is going on with the teen in front of him. He fearfully hands Scott the bottle who rips it out of his hand, chucking it across the clearing and smashing it against a tree. The two men take off in the other direction, mumbling things about how the three of them are crazy. Technically they’re not wrong. But the three friends haven’t been sane since they met each other.
Scott starts walking off, Stiles and Fallon following behind him. “Okay, please tell me that’s because of the breakup… Or ‘cause tomorrow’s the full moon…?” He suggests.
Scott opens the back door to the jeep, Stiles walking in front of him. “Going home now, yeah?” Scott nods allowing Stiles to collapse into the backseat, promptly passing out.
Fallon sighs, “Let’s get out of here.”

Getting to school the next day was a struggle for Fallon. Her father continuously asked if she really thought she was ready to go back. It’s not that she didn’t mind staying home and recuperating, but she would eventually go stir crazy if she couldn't get out for at least a couple of hours. Besides, now that she has her cast off, she can’t wait to get back to playing lacrosse again.
She heads towards Mr. Harris’s class, internally cringing at the fact there’s a huge test today. When she walks in, she watches as the man menacingly places the tests down on each table. Allison is sitting in the front row, an empty seat next to her. Fallon decides to take the spot, sending the dark haired girl a small smile.
“Hey,” she greets quietly.
“Hi,” Allison smiles, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “How are you feeling after, y’know…” She gestures with her hands to indicate the night before.
“I’m okay,” Fallon answers kindly, turning to face the girl fully. “How are you? I know you were pretty freaked out after Scott left and everything.”
“I was,” she admits with a nod. “But I think I’m good now. By the way, I’m really sorry for being kind of snappy with you during the whole thing.”
Fallon shakes her head, “You weren’t. You were scared, which is completely reasonable,” she reaches over and squeezes Allison’s hand reassuringly. “I don’t blame you. We were all pretty scared.”
“Well, I could definitely use a girls night after all of that,” Allison grins at her. “Maybe some facials and therapy shopping. Would you wanna come with me and Lydia?” She asks hopefully.
“Absolutely,” Fallon nods. “That sounds great.”
Once Harris places a test in front of her, she turns her attention back towards her desk. The last thing she needs is Harris yelling at her for talking. Stiles walks in not long after, sliding a lollipop onto Fallon’s desk, his own hanging out of his mouth. She smiles when she notices its cotton candy flavor. He winks at her and she shakes her head, unwrapping the candy and popping it in her mouth. A few moments later is when Scott walks in, looking completely distraught when he sees Allison. The brunette puts a hand in front of her face as a way of shielding herself from the upcoming awkward conversation.
Thankfully, Mr. Harris asks Scott to sit down before a fight could break out. She lets out a breath of relief before opening the first page of the test booklet. Their teacher moves to the front of the classroom, the same displeased look on his face that he always wears. “You have forty-five minutes to complete the test. Twenty-five percent of your grade can be earned right now simply by writing your name on the cover of the blue book.” Fallon takes that as her cue to write her name. “However, as happens every year, one of you will inexplicably fail to put your name on the cover, and I'll be left yet again questioning my decision to ever become a teacher. So, let's get the disappointment over with. Begin!”
1) An increase in imports of consumer goods is most likely to have been caused by a:
A) Fall in exchange rate.
B) Rise in household saving.
C) Rise in household income.
D) Fall in unemployment
Fallon thinks back to the notes she took in her economics class. The only logical answer would be C. When household income rises, people generally have more disposable income to spend on goods, including imported consumer goods. This increase in purchasing power can lead to an increase in imports. She cracks her neck as she moves to read the next question.
2. Which one of the following statements about price mechanism is correct?
A) Price mechanism is the point which equalibriates supply and demand within a market.
B) Price mechanism allows the price of goods to be decided by supply and demand.
C) Price mechanism formulates fair prices of goods or services according to supply and demand.
The correct answer is B. This statement accurately describes how the price mechanism operates in a market economy because prices are determined by the interaction of supply and demand, without any direct interference from external forces like government control. She circles it with ease before moving onto the next question.
The girl doesn’t even realize how quickly she’s flying through the test until she’s on the third page. She notices Stiles who’s a row over and one seat behind her clicking his pen in a particular pattern which she recognizes. They came up with a system for multiple choice tests where if one of them was struggling, they’d click the pen the amount of times the question number was. Then the person giving the answer would subtly hold up the amount of fingers for which answer it is. He clicks the pen eight times causing Fallon to hold up three fingers for letter c).
She holds her head in her hand, flipping to the fourth page. The brunette only has the backside of the packet to go before she’s officially done. That’ll give her a solid almost thirty minutes to read her book. Hopefully Harris doesn’t make her sit back down for finishing the test in less than twenty minutes.
Fallon sighs, reading the last question boredly. With one final swoop of her pencil, she finishes the test. As she’s about to stand up and turn it in, Scott shoots up from his seat with his backpack and darts out of the room. Her eyes widen in surprise before grabbing all of her stuff, dropping her test off in front of Harris and chasing after her best friend. Stiles follows closely behind, leaving his own test u finished. Their teacher calls out for them and demands them to come back, but it’s far too late.
“Scott?” Fallon yells for the boy. Her and Stiles glance around the hallway, stopping when they see his backpack just sitting in the middle of the walkway. They walk over to it, Stiles picking it up.
“Scott?” Stiles tries, turning his head every which way.
“Let me call him,” Fallon mutters, pulling out her phone as she presses Scott’s contact information. Her phone rings as she and Stiles try to carefully listen for Scott’s ringtone. They hear the faint sound coming from the boys locker room. When they walk in, they hear the water running in one of the showers. The girl sighs, throwing her head back, “Why do you guys always have to come here when you’re having a crisis?”
Stiles shrugs, not knowing the answer to the question. The duo treks forward carefully, an eerie feeling coming over them. With the full moon being tonight, they are both half expecting to see a wolfed out Scott ready to kill them once again. But once they make it to the back, all they see is their best friend breaking down. He’s standing under the shower head, half naked, gasping for air that never seems to reach his lungs.
Scott turns to them, panting heavily, “I can’t– I can’t–” he points to his chest, trying to communicate his needs.
“What’s happening?” Stiles asks anxiously. “Are you changing?”
“No,” he wheezes. “No, I can’t breathe,” he says, sliding down the shower wall.
This is when Fallon flies into protective mode. She yanks Scott’s backpack off of Stiles, rummaging through it to find his inhaler. The only other time she’s seen him like this is when he’s having an asthma attack, but she knows it’s not his asthma. From the looks of it, she wants to assume it’s a panic attack. Hopefully though with a puff from his inhaler, it’ll manage to calm him down.
She kneels down in front of him, ignoring her knees getting wet from the floor below. She shakes the inhaler and puts it to his lips, puffing it into his mouth. Thankfully, it manages to calm his breathing as his chest stops heaving so aggressively.
Scott looks up at them confused, “I was having an asthma attack?” He asks incredulously.
“No,” Fallon sighs, sitting down next to him. “You were having a panic attack.”
Stiles nods, “But thinking you were having an asthma attack actually stopped the panic attack,” he explains. “Irony…”
“How did you know to do that?” Scott glances at Fallon.
The brunette hugs her knees to her chest, briefly looking at Stiles. She shrugs softly, “Used to get ‘em after my mom died, especially when I had to move to a new place right after. Stiles used to get them a lot too.”
“Why do you think we started the Saturday night sleepovers when we were kids?” Stiles brings up. “It gave us a way to stick together on the weekends when we couldn’t see each other at school.”
“It got easier to not have a panic attack when we were with each other,” she says softly. “They're not fun, huh?”
Scott leans his head against the cold shower tile, “I looked at her, and it was like someone hit me in the ribs with a hammer.”
“Yeah,” Stiles nods. “It’s called heartbreak– about two billion songs written about it.”
“I can’t stop thinking about her.”
“Yeah, and you probably won’t for a while,” Fallon says truthfully. “That’s usually how these kinds of things go.”
“Well, you could think about this– her dad's a Werewolf Hunter, and you're a Werewolf, so it was bound to become an issue…” Both Scott and Fallon give him a ‘really’ look making Stiles shift awkwardly. “That wasn’t helpful.” He sighs, crouching down to get closer to his two friends, “Dude, I mean, yeah. You got dumped. It’s supposed to suck.”
“No, that's not it,” Scott denies. “It was like I could feel everything in the room– everyone else's emotions.”
“It’s gotta be the full moon,” Fallon says, rubbing his back. “We’re still gonna stick with the plan we talked about and lock you up in your room later. That way the Alpha–”
“Who’s your boss,” Stiles adds, cutting Fallon off.
She rolls her eyes but finishes her sentence regardless, “Can’t get to you.”
“I think we need to do a lot more than just lock me in my room.”
“What? Why?” Fallon furrows her eyebrows.
“You mean because if you get out, you’d be caught by hunters?” Stiles asks, also trying to understand what he means.
No… Because if I get out… I think I might kill someone.”

One of the only times Fallon is allowed in the boys locker room is when Coach calls a meeting. Truthfully, it’s not even when she’s “allowed,” it’s just when she forces herself to go in there so he doesn’t yell at her for insubordination. It’s happened before. She sits down on the bench next to Scott and Stiles, adjusting her pads underneath the uniform as Coach comes out of his office.
“All right, geniuses, listen up! Due to the recent pink-eye epidemic– thank you, Greenberg– the following people have made first line on a probationary basis– emphasis on the word probationary.” He looks down at the clipboard as he starts to list off all the names, “Rodriguez. Welcome to first line. Taylor, and, uh…” he squints as if he can’t read the name in front of him. “Oh, for the love of crap, I can't even read my own writing. What is that, an S?” Stiles leans forward excitedly. “No, no, that's not an S. That's a-that's a-that's a B. It's definitely a B. Uh, Rodriguez, Taylor, and, uh... Bilinski.”
Stiles’ head shoots up as he hears a version of his last name. He shoots up from his seat, banging on his chest and howling like a monkey. Fallon slouched down, covering her face with her hand to prevent herself from laughing out loud.
“Bilinski,” Coach narrows his eyes, making Stiles stop.
“Yes?”
“Shut up,” the man commands causing everyone in the room to snicker.
“Yes, sir,” Stiles salutes, slowly sitting down so he doesn’t do anything else to jeopardize his new position on the team.
“Stiles,” Fallon tries to talk to him.
“It’s Biles,” he tells her with the most serious expression on his face. “Call me Biles or I swear to God, I’ll kill you.”
Her lips form into a thin line as she nods, “Got it. Biles Bilinski it is.”
“Another thing–” Coach gets their attention once more. “From here on out, immediately, we're switching to co-captains. And since Donovan keeps refusing, we’ll give it to our next star player. Congratulations, McCall!”
Fallon and Stiles seem to be the only ones who are happy about the news. The rest of the team doesn’t even look a little bit congratulatory on Scott’s new promotion. Fallon pats his back encouragingly. She definitely would rather have Scott as co-captain rather than herself.
Jackson storms over to Coach, “What?” He snaps, not taking his new shared position very lightly.
“What do you mean, "what?" Coach shrugs. “Jackson, this takes nothing away from you. This is about combining separate strengths into one unit. This is about taking your unit, McCall's unit... we're making one big unit. McCall, it's you and Jackson now! Everybody else?” He blows his whistle loudly. Asses on the field! Asses on the field!
Fallon, Scott, and Stiles all grab their gear and get ready to head outside. Stiles seems a lot more excited than Scott which confuses the girl as he did just earn a very coveted position.
“Dude, can you believe this? You're a captain, I'm first line. I'm first-freaking-line!”
“Told you you could do it,” Fallon bumps his side. “Even if it is on a probationary basis.”
He points his lanky finger at her, “Do not ruin this for me.”
They push the door to the hallway open, walking out together. They ignore the angry stares from Jackson, not allowing him to ruin the victory for them. Stiles notices Scott’s lack of enthusiasm and frowns, “Are you not freaking out? I’m freaking out.”
“What’s the point?” Scott snaps irritably, making Fallon’s eyebrows go up into her hairline. “It’s just a stupid title. And I could practically smell the jealousy in there.”
“Wait, you smell jealousy?” Stiles asks, intrigued.
“Yeah,” the boy nods. “It’s like the full moon’s turned everything up to ten.”
“Are you sure you’re up for practice, Scotty?” Fallon asks worriedly. “We can always tell Coach that you threw up or something and I’m sure he’ll excuse you.”
“I’m fine,” he grumbles. “Don’t worry about it.”
That’s not going to happen. Telling Fallon not to worry is like telling Stiles not to ramble. Besides with what’s at stake, controlling her worrying tendencies is going to be much more difficult. He confessed less than five hours ago that he would kill someone if they didn’t lock him up. So seeing his brooding demeanor sets off some alarm bells.
“Anyway, back to the whole smelling jealousy thing,” Stiles says with a clear agenda. “Does that mean you can pick up on stuff, like, I don’t know… desire?”
Scott frowns, turning to his male best friend, “What do you mean, desire?”
“Like, sexual desire.”
“Sexual desire?” Scott furrows his eyebrows confused.
Stiles sighs exasperatedly, “Yeah, sexual desire! Lust, passion… arousal.”
“I swear to God, I am gonna smack you,” Fallon narrows her eyes at him. “Please stop talking.”
“Don’t act like you’re not curious!” Stiles shoots back.
“Let me guess… from Lydia?” Scott says unamused.
Stiles pretends he’s appalled by the accusation, “What? No, in general, broad sense– can you determine sexual desire?” He tries to play off.
“From Lydia to you,” Fallon adds.
Stiles throws his hands up, “Fine! Yes, from Lydia to me.” Both Scott and Fallon look away from the boy, a wide array of disappointment and annoyance on their faces. Stiles grabs Scott’s shoulder, “Look, I need to know if I have a chance with this girl, okay? I’ve been obsessing over her since the third freakin’ grade.”
“Why don’t you just ask her?” Scott suggests sassily.
“Well, to save myself utterly crushing humiliation. Thank you, Scott. Okay? So, please, can you just go up and ask her if she likes me? See if her heartbeat rises, pheromones come out…”
“Fine,” Scott practically growls before walking away from his two friends with a miserable look on his face. Stiles is too thrilled by Scott agreeing to ask Lydia about her feelings for the boy to notice the shift in their friend's tone. Something’s off and Fallon doesn’t like it.
“We need to follow him,” Fallon says as she watches Scott walk into an empty classroom with Lydia.
“Wha– Why?” Stiles looks at her incredulously. “We can just meet him out on the field.”
“There’s something about the way he just walked off,” she mutters. “I don’t think we should trust him alone in a room with her right now. The full moon seems to be really messing with him.”
“I’m not worried about it,” Stiles shrugs off. “You can follow him if you want, but I just made first line and I’m not gonna give Coach a reason to take it away.” With that, Stiles takes off leaving the brunette in the hallway.
She can’t shake the feeling that something’s wrong about this whole situation. Call it best friend’s intuition, but she sneakily walks up to the closed door to the classroom. What she sees is normal for the most part. Lydia is sitting on the desk, staring at Scott as he asks his question. But the question is clearly not what Stiles had originally wanted Scott to do as the boy hunches over and wraps his arms around Lydia’s waist. Fallon gasps, jumping away from the door as she watches the two of them kiss.
“Damn it, Scott,” she grumbles frustratedly, knowing that there’s no way she can keep this from Stiles.
Making her way out to the lacrosse field, Fallon’s fury rises with every step. How could Scott do that to Stiles? He was supposed to go in there to ask if Lydia had feelings for Stiles. Not make out with her. Lydia is also still with Jackson. She loves Scott, but he is an absolute idiot at times.
“Something wrong?” Stiles asks her as she slides down on the bench, grabbing her helmet roughly from her bag.
She sighs, keeping her head hung low. If she tells him, he’ll be pissed at Scott. If she doesn’t tell him, he’ll be pissed at her later when he finds out she knew and didn’t say anything. The girl internally groans before looking back at the boy. “He kissed her,” she blurts out, not wanting to beat around the bush.
Stiles looks taken aback, “Who kissed who?”
“Scott kissed Lydia,” she explains. “And it wasn’t like a little peck either. It was like full on frenching,” she shakes her head in disgust. “I knew something was wrong with him.”
Stiles pauses, “No,” he shakes his head. “No, Scott wouldn’t do that.”
“Stiles, I saw it,” Fallon scoffs. “With my own two eyes.”
“Then you saw wrong,” he tells her defensively. “There’s no way Scott would do that when I just asked him to see if she likes me.”
“You’re seriously not gonna believe me?” The girl looks at him, feeling slightly wounded by his denial. “I was there, Stiles. Why would I lie about something like this?”
“I don’t know,” he throws his hands up. “Because you’ve always been cynical about love, maybe? You’ve been telling me to get over Lydia since forever. Maybe this is your way of trying to get me to do it sooner because you can’t find someone you like for yourself. So you want me to be miserable with you.”
Fallon flinches at his harsh words. She knows he’s only snapping because he’s aware deep down that she’s telling the truth. But it doesn’t make it hurt any less. Stiles’ face falls when he sees the hurt expression on hers. “Fallon–”
“Don’t.” She stops him, putting her hand up. She slides her helmet over her head silently. “I may be cynical Stiles, but I’m not a liar. I know what I saw. But you can live in whatever fantasy world you want to. Not my problem.”
The boy huffs loudly as he watches her walk off. He didn’t mean anything he just said. He knows the reason she’s not a big love fan is because of her own parents. She limits her belief in true love to her story books simply because her mom and dad had that fairytale romance. They met, instantly hated each other, and then managed to fall in love along the way. According to Michael, the two’s first kiss was standing in the rain outside of a bookstore in London after a big blowout argument. They had one beautiful daughter, and they were all happy. Until one day, Grace left Fallon with her grandmother while Michael was at the military base he was assigned to. Grace left and never came back. They found out later that she had driven herself off a cliff. No explanation, no note, not even a body. That’s when Fallon’s view on love shattered. Because the most beautiful love story she’s ever witnessed broke within an instant. All the happiness, all the memories, gone.
Fallon holds back the tears that threaten to spill from her eyes, putting all of her energy into practice. She’s trying not to be angry with Stiles, but it’s getting harder every time his words ring in her ears. She’s not miserable. She just doesn’t need someone else to make her happy.
The girl gets in line as Coach blows his whistle. She’s the first one there and the man claps, “All right, Donovan! Start us off right. Go out there and kill ‘em, okay?!”
She silently nods as he blows the whistle again. She scoops the ball up smoothly, dodging the boys blocking the goalie. She twists and turns effortlessly as she usually does, shoulder checking the guy on her left roughly, knocking him to the floor. She reaches the goal, faking Danny out by pretending she’s going to shoot right before quickly pivoting on her feet to aim left. The ball slides into the net perfectly earning a round of applause from Coach and the guys standing on the sidelines. Fallon runs over to stand with the group that’s already completed the exercise.
Jackson gives her a once over, “That was some aggressive playing, Donovan. Something on your mind?” He asks almost patronizingly.
“Don't make me castrate you, Jackson,” she threatens lowly. “I’m not in the mood.”
The blonde tilts his head, “What’s wrong?” His tone sounds actually genuine for once.
Fallon looks up at him. She feels an urge to just spill her guts, but after everything he’s said and done these past few weeks, she holds back. “Nothing,” the brunette shrugs. “Just a bad day, I guess.”
When she looks out to the field, Scott’s the next one up. Coach shouts “Let’s go,” before making his whistle chirp loudly again. Watching Scott was like waiting for a bomb to go off. He runs forward but is immediately knocked down by one of the guards. Everyone on the side laughs at his misfortune. Coach bends down to Scott’s level, “Guess some people don’t appreciate your new status there, McCall.” He stands up, ending his taunting before looking back at the remaining line of players. “Who’s next? Let’s go!”
Coach glances at Stiles who’s next in line, “All right, you’re up big boy! Let’s go!” Stiles nods and gets in position to start running, but is stopped by Scott pushing him backwards with his own lacrosse stick. The angry teen takes Stiles’ spot, getting ready to go again. Coach cheers for him, “That’s it, McCall! That’s the spirit! You earn it! Earn it, McCall!”
Fallon watches nervously as Scott charges forward with a newfound vigor. He slams into the two opposing players, knocking them a few feet away from him. Her heart drops when she sees him go after Danny, smacking the goalie’s helmet with his lacrosse stick and practically shoving him out of the way. Danny hits the ground hard, causing the rest of the team to run to his aid. Scott stands off to the side, ripping his helmet off angrily.
Fallon storms over to him, pushing his chest lightly, “What the hell is wrong with you?” She snaps.
“He’s twice the size of me,” Scott says just as snippily. He grabs her wrists and roughly pushes them away.
The brunette glares at him, “So much for being team captain, huh?” She scoffs. “Leaders don’t act like that.”
“I don’t care,” he rolls his eyes, turning away from her as Stiles comes running up to them. “At least I had the guts to actually take the position,” he says snidely.
Without putting much thought into her next movements, Fallon surges forward and tackles Scott to the ground. She wraps her arm around his neck, putting him in a chokehold which ends up earning the attention of everyone else on the field. “I didn’t take the position–” she grunts as she holds him in place, “Because I didn’t want to deal with assholes like you.” She releases him from her grip, but only because Stiles started pulling her away. She shoves Stiles’ hands off of her before shoulder checking him as she walks off, “Don’t touch me.”

Pulling up to the McCall house was a difficult decision for Fallon to make. After everything that happened between the three of them at school, she wasn’t really sure if she wanted to help either of them. Unfortunately, their many years of friendship won out the internal battle she was having in her head. Plus, she couldn’t leave Stiles alone with Scott. Not when he’s acting like a complete menace.
She jumps off her bike and is met with the loud rickety noises of Roscoe. Stiles looks surprised when he gets out of the jeep and sees her waiting by the door. He slings the black duffle bag over his shoulder and walks up to her. “You came…” he says softly.
“Yeah,” she nods stiffly. “I did.”
Stiles sighs, “Fallon, I–”
“It’s fine, Stiles,” she brushes off, trying to keep her emotions at bay. “I already know you didn’t mean it.”
“It’s not fine,” the boy argues. “What I said to you was not fine. It was mean and rude and I literally wanted to punch myself in the face right after I said it,” he rambles. “Look, I should’ve believed you. I know he did it. I guess I just didn’t want to believe it,” he looks down at his feet, suddenly finding the cracks in the pavement very interesting. “I’m really sorry, Fall. And I understand if you hate me and everything, but I still love you and I don’t want to fight with you anymore.” His amber eyes finally meet hers again, “When you pushed me away at the end of practice… I freakin’ hated it. I can’t stand the thought of you doing that again.”
After listening to his monologue, Fallon mulls over his words. She can hear the sincerity in his voice. The girl sighs, pushing herself off the wall and wrapping her arms around Stiles’ neck. He physically relaxes, looping his own arms around her waist as he holds her tightly. “You’re forgiven,” she mumbles. “Let’s see if Scott decides to take the apologetic approach, shall we?”
Stiles slides his key into the lock on the front door. She wanted to ask when he had that made and why, but figured it was because the last time when they snuck in through the window, Melissa almost beat them to death with a bat. When they walk in they hear said woman call out for her son, “Scott?” She rounds the corner and jumps in surprise when the shaggy haired teen is not who just walked in.
“Stiles.” The boy grins with a wave.
“Fallon,” the brunette jumps in, finding the whole situation slightly humorous.
The mother’s eyes fall to the golden key in Stiles’ hand, “Key,” she points to it.
Stiles nods obliviously, “Yeah, I had one made so…”
“That does not surprise me,” Melissa admits. “It scares me, but it doesn’t surprise me.”
“He has one for my house too,” Fallon adds nonchalantly. “He just chooses to climb through my window.”
“That also doesn’t surprise me,” she says, shaking her head. That’s when her eyes fall to the large black duffle bag Stiles carried in, “What’s that?”
The two friends share a look, “Uh, school project…” Fallon spits out quickly, patting the bag. She cringes when the quiet sound of metal clanging is heard. Thankfully, Melissa doesn’t seem to question it.
They go to head up the stairs, but Melissa stops them, “Guys… he’s okay, right?” She asks, worried. She senses something’s off with Scott.
Fallon’s heart pangs with sympathy. She smiles softly at the woman, “Yeah. He’s all right.” Although it’s a lie, Melissa doesn’t need to worry about Scott and the supernatural world.
“He just doesn’t talk to me that much anymore,” she admits heartbrokenly. “Not like he used to.”
“Well, he’s had a bit of a rough week…” Stiles tries to come to Scott’s defense.
Melissa nods, “Yeah. Yeah, I get it.” She tries to push down her concerns for her son as she grabs her purse to head to work. “Um, okay. Uh, be careful tonight.”
“You too,” Fallon says as she gets ready to go up the stairs again.
“Full moon.”
Stiles and Fallon whip their heads towards the woman, “What?” They both say simultaneously, completely alarmed.
“There’s a full moon tonight,” she elaborates. “You should see how the ER gets– brings out all the nut jobs. Be grateful you haven’t had to work the nightshirt, Fallon,” she jokes with a small grin.
The girl laughs awkwardly, “Oh. Yeah, yeah, dad tells me some of the crazy stories.”
Melissa nods, “Yeah, he’s gotten some weird cases. You know, it’s um, actually where they came up with the word lunatic.” With that final thought to chew on, Melissa closes the front door, allowing Stiles and Fallon to let out a breath they didn’t even know they were holding.
The two of them finish their journey up the stairs, walking into Scott’s room without much thought. Fallon flicks the lights on as Stiles sets the bag down.
“Oh my God!” Stiles exclaims with a jump.
Fallon turns around, confused by his sudden shout. She jumps up with a yelp when she sees Scott staring at them from the chair in the corner of his room. His expression is completely blank, a certain darkness swirling behind his eyes.
“Dude, you scared the hell out of us!” Stiles tells him. Your mom said you weren’t home yet.”
“I came in through the window,” he says monotonously.
Fallon stays in her spot by the door, keeping her distance from the boy. After what happened between them at the lacrosse field, she doesn’t trust herself to get too close. Besides, she has a better vantage point just in case he tries something.
“Okay. Uh, well, let’s get this set up,” Stiles crouches down to open the bag. “I want you to see what I bought.”
“I’m fine,” Scott’s face is still completely blank. “I’m just gonna lock the door and go to bed early tonight.”
“You sure about that?” Fallon questions, eyes narrowed. “Because you’ve got this crazy look in your eyes that tells me you’re gonna go all serial killer berserk the second we leave you alone.”
“I’m fine,” he all but growls at her. “You guys should go now.”
Stiles can sense the tensions rising, “All right, we’ll leave,” he says calmly. He sends Scott a pleading look, “Well, look, would you just at least look in the bag to see what I brought? You know, maybe you use it, maybe you don’t. Sound good?”
The way Scott walks over to Stiles makes the hairs on Fallon’s neck stand up. She moves from her relaxed position against the wall and takes a step closer to Stiles. The boy subtly reaches back, placing his hand around her ankle to reassure her that he’s fine. Scott doesn’t notice and proceeds to open the duffle bag, pulling out a long chain.
He looks at it with the utmost distaste and hatred, “You think I’m gonna let you two put these on and chain me up like a dog?” He asks, voice low and gravelly.
“Actually, no,” Stiles responds before swiftly bringing out handcuffs he no doubt stole from his dad. He pushes Scott up against the radiator in his room, locking his wrists in the harsh metal. Fallon helps Stiles to his feet as he clambers backwards.
“What the hell are you doing?!” Scott screams at the two of them, grunting as he tries to pull his wrist free.
“Protecting you from yourself…” Stiles answers. “And giving you some payback… For making out with Lydia.”
Fallon places her hand on Stiles’ back. Scott silently pleads with her to help him out and she shrugs with no remorse. “You know how he feels about her and you took advantage of it. Not to mention, you were a dick to me at practice. So don’t expect any sympathy from me.”
“You came at me!” He snarls.
“Because you practically ran over Danny!” She scoffs at his words.
Stiles turns her body so she’s just facing him. He takes her hand in his before escorting her out of the room. She growls under her breath and Stiles huffs, “I know, I know. But this isn’t him.”
“Still doesn’t change the fact I want to push him out of the window,” she glares back at the door to Scott’s window.
“I think I have an idea that might make you feel better,” Stiles smirks. “I’ll be right back.”
He runs downstairs and the girl sits patiently for his return. She glances periodically towards the room, hearing Scott struggle against his restraints. The best friend side of her is telling her to go back in there and let him go, but the angry side of her wants to keep him locked there for the next three full moons.
Stiles climbs back up the stairs, a water bottle in hand, along with… a dog bowl. A wide smile makes its way onto her face. “You wouldn’t…” she whispers daringly.
“Oh I would,” he huffs out with his own smirk. He walks back towards the room, Fallon following behind. “He wants to act like a dog, I’ll treat him like one.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever loved you more, Biles.”
Stiles strolls into the bedroom, hiding the bowl behind his back. “I brought you some water,” he holds the bottle up before smugly pulling the bowl out, pouring the liquid into the container. Fallon has to look away to prevent herself from cackling. Scott simply glares at the two as Stiles sets the bowl down in front of Scott.
Stiles and Fallon go to leave once more but are stopped when a cool substance hits their backs. The dog bowl crashes down at Stiles’ side, “I’m gonna kill both of you!” Scott shouts aggressively.
This makes Stiles snap. He whips around, anger burning behind his eyes. “You kissed her, Scott! Okay? You kissed Lydia. That’s, like, the one girl that I ev–” he sucks in a deep breath. “And, you know, the past three hours, I've been thinking, ‘It's probably just the full moon,’ you know? He doesn't even know what he's doing, and tomorrow, he'll be totally back to normal. He probably won't even remember what a complete dumbass he's been– a son of a bitch, a freaking unbelievable piece of crap friend–”
“She kissed me,” Scott interrupts. And the sad part is, he’s not wrong. When Fallon watched it happen, she came onto him first.
“What?” Stiles’ face falls, making Fallon want to kick Scott’s ass all over again.
“I didn't kiss her– she kissed me,” he reiterates cockily. “She would have done a lot more, too. You should have seen the way she had her hands all over me.”
Stiles tries his best to act unaffected, but she can see the way he’s holding himself back. She’s not sure if he wants to kill Scott himself or cry. Maybe a mix of both.
“She would have done anything I wanted. Anything!”
Stiles clenches his jaw before turning to Fallon, “I’ll be right back,” he whispers before storming out of the room.
Fallon stays in her spot by the door. Her arms are crossed as she leans her entire body weight on the door. A frown is etched on her face as she watches Scott stare her down like she’s a piece of meat. “What?” He asks tauntingly. “Something got you upset, Fall?”
She ignores him. Her expression remains hard as she tries to keep her cool. She doesn’t want to snap at Scott like she did out on the field. He might be losing control, but that doesn’t mean she has to. Fallon keeps her eyes trained on his wrist, making sure he doesn’t try to rip his own hand off to get out.
Scott glares at her, growing more angry by her lack of a reaction. “You're a real piece of work, you know that?” He growls. “You’re really gonna stand there and act like you know what’s best for me?” You’re nothing but a–”
“Careful Scott,” Fallon cuts him off, her voice laced with warning. She’s not going to let him say something he’ll regret later. “You don’t want to finish that sentence.”
He snarls, pulling harder at the chains. “Oh, what are you going to do? Put me in a chokehold again? You got lucky earlier. If Stiles hadn’t been there to pull you off, I would’ve–”
“Would’ve what?” She challenges him, taking a step closer, her chin held high in the air. “You think now that just because you’re all furry and fanged that you’re stronger? It doesn’t change who you are, Scott,” she shakes her head. “It just makes you more of an ass.”
Scott’s eyes flash yellow as a twisted smirk forms on his lips, “You think you’re so tough, Fallon. Acting like you don’t care, like nothing gets to you. But I know you. I know you’re just as scared as the rest of us. That’s why you fight so hard. You’re just trying to prove something.”
She feels a pang in her chest, but she pushes it down, refusing to show any sign of weakness. “Don’t project your issues onto me, Scott. You’re the one who can’t handle what’s happening to you.”
He leans forward, the chains creaking under the pressure. “And what about you, Fallon? When are you going to stop pretending like you’re fine?” He pauses before slicing open a wound he knows will make her bleed out. “We all know what happened to your mom, how she—”
“Shut up!” Fallon snaps, her composure cracking. She takes a step back, her breathing uneven. “You have no right to talk about that.”
Scott laughs, the sound bitter. “Yeah, keep hiding behind your anger. But guess what? It’s not going to bring her back.”
Fallon’s fists clench at her sides. She knows he’s not himself right now, that the full moon is messing with his head, but that doesn’t stop the words from cutting deep. “You’re just saying this because you’re scared and upset that Allison dumped you. You really think hurting me is going to make you feel better?”
Before Scott can respond, the door swings open and Stiles rushes in, his face flushed with panic. “Fallon, don’t listen to him! He’s just trying to get into your head, okay? He’s not himself.”
But Fallon doesn’t move, her eyes locked on Scott’s. “Yeah, I know, Stiles. But that doesn’t make what he’s saying any less real.”
Scott’s eyes flicker for a moment, a brief flash of regret before the anger takes over again. “You think you’re so much better than me, Fallon? You’re just as messed up as the rest of us. You think your mom didn’t know what she was doing? Maybe she couldn’t handle being around you anymore.”
That’s the final straw. Fallon feels like she’s been punched in the gut. She blinks rapidly, fighting the sting of tears. “Screw you, Scott.”
Stiles steps between them, pushing Fallon back gently. “That’s enough, Scott.”
But Scott’s still glaring at her, his eyes wild. “I bet she couldn’t stand you. Who could? You’re always pushing people away. It’s no wonder—”
“Shut up, Scott!” Stiles yells, cutting him off. He turns to Fallon, his voice softer. “You don’t have to stay here. Go get some air. I’ll deal with him.”
Fallon hesitates for a moment, then nods, her voice barely above a whisper. “Yeah. I need to get out of here.” She gives Scott one last look before storming out of the room, slamming the door behind her.
As she walks down the hallway, she takes deep breaths, trying to calm the storm raging inside her. Scott’s words echo in her head, but she forces herself to push them away. She knows it’s just the full moon taking its effect. But that doesn’t make it hurt any less.
· · ────── ·𖥸· ────── · ·
Fallon took off from Scott’s house, heading to her own. Thankfully, Michael wasn’t there to ask any questions as to why her face was caked with tears. She walks into her room, grabbing a jacket before storming out of the house. If she gets grounded for being out after dark, so be it. But she needs to go on a walk to clear her head.
Scott’s words replay over and over in her head, the hurt occurring all over again. Her eyes water, causing her to silently curse under her breath as she wiped her cheeks. But the tears just don’t stop coming. She knows she can be a bit stubborn and a hardass at times, but she didn’t think she made a habit of pushing Scott and Stiles away.
Hiding behind her anger was something she tried to steer away from. Her father has told her multiple times that’s a sure fire way to hurt her friends and herself. Her headphones are plugged into her ears, loud music blasting through the buds as she tries to drown out her emotions. She’s not looking forward to having that conversation with Scott when he comes down from the full moon high he’s on.
Her footsteps echo across the sidewalk. She walks past the town grocery store and keeps going. The brunette doesn’t even pay attention to which direction she’s walking in, all she wants to do is just escape for a little while. Normally, she would turn to her books in a time like this, but that would remind her too much of her mother.
Eventually, greenery ends up surrounding her rather than the industrial town. A small sniffle escapes her nose as she wipes the snot off her upper lip with her jacket sleeve. She doesn’t even know how long she’s been crying. Clearly a while since she somehow managed to end up in the woods.
The sound of a twig snapping manages to infiltrate her ears despite the loud music playing. She freezes in her spot, realizing going on a walk late at night, alone, was the dumbest idea she’s ever had. Especially since she didn’t take the time to tell anyone where she was going. She pulled one of the buds out of her ear, analyzing the area around her. She doesn’t see anything at first until a tall shadowy figure appears in the distance. An odd amount of fog conceals the individual's identity. Fallon squints her eyes, trying to determine who it is. Normally, she would’ve taken off and started running in the other direction, but something about the shape of the person seems familiar.
A gasp leaves her lips, “Derek?” She calls out in complete shock. She cringes at her own voice as it sounds raw from crying.
He comes out from behind the fog, his hands in his pockets as per usual with his signature leather jacket. He looks completely fine. No sign of a whole in his body from Alpha claws, or any broken bones from being thrown into a brick wall.
He steps closer to her and she simply stares at him, mouth agape. “You… You’re alive.”
Derek raises an eyebrow, “You sound almost disappointed.”
“No, I’m just—” Fallon stopped herself, realizing how close she was to falling apart. She had always been good at hiding her emotions, at putting up a tough front, but tonight… tonight she felt raw. Exposed. “I thought you were dead, Derek. You just disappeared, and with everything that’s been happening, I…”
She trailed off, her hands clenching into fists as she tried to push down the tears that were threatening to spill over. Derek was watching her closely, his expression softening ever so slightly as he noticed the wetness in her eyes. He took another step closer, close enough now that she could feel the warmth radiating off him, even in the cool night air.
“I’m not that easy to kill,” Derek said, his voice low but steady. There was something almost comforting in the way he said it, as if he was trying to assure her in his own stoic way.
Fallon looked up at him, blinking rapidly to clear her vision. “Yeah, well, you sure as hell looked like it,” she muttered, trying to inject some of her usual sarcasm into the words. But even she could tell it fell flat.
Derek’s gaze softened just a fraction, and he tilted his head, studying her more intently. “Something happened,” he states rather than asking. “With Scott.”
Fallon huffed a laugh, though there was no humor in it. “That obvious, huh?”
“You’ve been crying.” Derek’s voice was blunt, as usual, but there was a note of concern buried in it, so subtle that anyone else might have missed it. But Fallon didn’t.
“Yeah, no duh,” she sniffles, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Are you gonna tell me?” He stands there, patiently waiting for the story.
The tears in her waterline make her eyes glisten under the moon’s pale light. She cranes her neck to look at him. Her chest tightens just thinking about the boy she’s been best friends with since the third grade. “He– he just said some things. Crappy things. But I’m fine,” she assures.
Derek’s expression darkened slightly. “And you let it get to you?”
Fallon’s eyes snapped to his, her stubbornness flaring up despite the pain she was feeling. “I didn’t let it get to me. It just… it was a lot, okay? We fought earlier, and then he said something about my mom, and…” She broke off, shaking her head. “It doesn’t matter.”
Derek’s jaw tightened. “He shouldn’t have said that.”
“I know,” Fallon replied, her voice barely above a whisper now. “But he did. And I can’t just pretend it didn’t hurt.”
They stood there in silence for a moment, the tension in the air palpable. Fallon was painfully aware of how close Derek was standing, the way his presence seemed to ground her even when everything else felt like it was spiraling out of control. She hadn’t realized just how much she’d missed him these past few days, how much she’d worried.
“I’m sorry,” Derek said suddenly, the words catching her off guard.
Fallon blinked up at him, not sure she’d heard him right. “For what?”
“For not being around. For letting you think I was dead.” He paused, his gaze intense as he looked down at her. “For not protecting you from this.”
Fallon’s breath hitched at the sincerity in his voice, and she felt something in her chest loosen, just a little. “You’re not responsible for what Scott says, Derek. That’s on him.”
“But you’re part of this now,” Derek countered, his voice firm. “Which means I am responsible for you, whether you like it or not.”
Fallon’s lips twitched into a small, almost sad smile. “Since when do you care about responsibility?”
“Since you almost got yourself killed,” Derek shot back, his tone more heated than she expected. His eyes bored into hers, and for a moment, she saw something there that took her breath away. Fear. Not for himself, but for her. “You need to be more careful, Fallon.”
She opened her mouth to argue, to tell him that she could handle herself just fine, but the words died in her throat. She was tired. Tired of fighting, tired of pretending she was okay when she wasn’t. So instead, she just nodded.
“Okay,” she whispered, her voice gentler than she intended.
Derek’s eyes softened at her response, and for a brief moment, Fallon thought he might reach out, might actually touch her. But he didn’t. Instead, he took a small step back, creating just enough distance between them to remind her that Derek Hale was still Derek Hale. Closed off. Guarded.
“You should go home,” Derek said after a moment, his voice reverting back to that cold, distant tone she was used to. “It’s not safe out here.”
Fallon wanted to argue, wanted to tell him that she could take care of herself, but she didn’t have the energy. Not tonight. “Yeah,” she mumbled, glancing down at her feet. “I will.”
Derek didn’t move, didn’t say anything else, just stood there watching her, waiting for her to leave. But Fallon found herself rooted to the spot, unable to walk away from him just yet.
“Derek…” she started, not entirely sure what she was going to say. Maybe she just wanted to thank him for being there, for listening, for not pushing her away when she felt so raw.
But Derek didn’t give her the chance to finish. “Don’t do anything stupid,” he said, his voice softer now, almost gentle.
Fallon looked up at him, surprised by the tenderness in his tone. “I never do.”
Derek’s lips quirked up ever so slightly, the closest thing to a smile she’d ever seen from him. “Could’ve fooled me.”
There was a beat of silence, and then Fallon nodded, more to herself than to him. “Goodnight, Derek.”
He didn’t say anything in response, just watched as she turned and started to walk away, her steps slower than usual, as if she was reluctant to leave. And maybe she was. Maybe, despite everything, she felt safer with Derek than she did anywhere else.
When she was finally out of sight, Derek let out a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding. He hadn’t meant to run into her tonight, hadn’t wanted to see the pain in her eyes, the hurt that he knew wasn’t entirely Scott’s fault. Fallon was strong, stubborn, and fiercely independent, but she was also vulnerable in ways she tried so hard to hide. And Derek had seen that vulnerability tonight, had felt an inexplicable urge to protect her from it.
But he couldn’t. Fallon was her own person, and no matter how much he wanted to keep her safe, he knew he couldn’t shield her from everything. Not from Scott, not from the supernatural world, and certainly not from herself.
So he stayed in the shadows, watching the path she’d taken until he was sure she was gone, before turning and melting back into the darkness. Alone, as always.
