in this daydream, sethos continues to hold the infant in his arms, having decidedly taken him in to raise as his own. at his right, his own son tugs at him, eagerly wanting to meet his new little brother and on his left, is his wife — amélie . her head resting upon his shoulder while tender eyes gaze upon the infant that she of course welcomed with open arms. it’s a distant future but one that is so picturesque, he almost believes it to be true.

but as the infant’s cries suddenly echo out, everything vanishes as quickly as it came, reduced to nothing more than the ashes that fill the darkened skies.

the world he desires is not awaiting him should he go against the will of the gods.

to have sympathy now would come at too much of a cost. one he can’t afford to lose as a man who’s just trying.. begging to go home.

What music genres do you think the batfam members listen to?I ask this because of how little Alternative music fan headcannons there are. I personally think Tim enjoys grunge and or nu metal(Specifically bands like limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Korn, and System of a Down)

I'm not too familiar with genres, so I'll be giving this my best shot. I typically listen to music by the vibe it gives. My playlists include music that makes my brain go brr (the nice dissociation), songs for muses, ones to scandalize my mother, music a garage band would play, songs that make God fear me, and a long playlist for pleasant company.

Anyways, I've seen a few fics where people say that Bruce and Tim share a love of those genres. I could definitely see Tim listening to the ones you mentioned. He probably plays it through his preferred headphones as he fixes electronics, codes, or plots destruction. He also, because he suppresses his anger a lot, probably listens to music like Ghostemane, Kim Dracula, and Freddie Dredd.

Jason definitely enjoys musicals. Dick as well, but Jason isn't as vocal about it. Instead, Jason will listen to 80's rock and 2000's girl bands if others around (he ofc listens to TLC).

I like to think that they all enjoy music in different languages. For Dick and Damian, they especially like music they grew up listening to in their respective cultures. The others, because the batfam is multilingual, just enjoy all kinds of different tunes in multiple languages. The batfam playlist, especially for hanging out in the cave, is chaotic. Bruce nearly had an aneurysm the first time he heard Touch You (Yarichin Bitch Club) over the speakers. The only reason the kids didn't get in trouble was because Damian was out with Colin at the time.

I hc that Cass likes lofi hip hop music. She typically enjoys all songs but prefers those without words (because understanding words still requires energy from her and can prevent her from fully relaxing). She does listen to a lot of classical music, a passion she shares with Alfred.

Alfred, the man the myth the legend, enjoys swing music the most. He'll put on a variety of music in the kitchen (different classical eras, opera music, the occasional musical, jazz, some more modern instrumental music, and some movie background tracks), but the whole fam knowns he's in a really good mood if swing music is playing.

Bruce is the type of person to just listen to what's on. Unless he dislikes the music, he will be fine with whatever his kids or Alfred have playing. He particularly enjoys alternative rock and old country music (like Garth Brooks), but he doesn't usually fight for the aux cord.

Barbara has playlists depending on her mood. Birds of Prey mission prep? Bruce being a dick? Dick being a dick? Batfam drama she has to once again intervene in? Coding nights? Can't get out of bed days? She also has a few playlists for each person she regularly interacts with. For calm or bad nights, she'll put the playlist in that person's comm. She also likes to hack speakers around Bruce and play her revenge music when he's being a petty asshole. Some of her revenge music includes "They're Coming to Take Me Away" by Sloppy Jane, "OoOo1" by galen tipton, "All I see is Poop" by Hobo Johnson, "I Swallowed Shampoo" by Soupy Garage Juice, "I am now going to bark at you" by thquib, and "I hope You Die in a Fire" by Grand Commander.

Duke is most definitely a Mitski, Hozier, Crane Wives enjoyer, and you can pry that hc from my cold, dead hands. He probably also likes songs similar to "Ancapistan" by Jreg or "The Fine Print" by The Stupendium.

Dick's music is either super high in energy or sad as fuck. He loves the songs "Has Anbody Seen My Will to Live" by The Tin Knees and "Copacabana (At the Copa)" by Barry Manilow because they are both sad and happy :) I hc that he likes songs by TV Girl, Yot Club, Joji, and Cosmo Sheldrake. He also has a few playlists he follows of Zumba music. The song "The Masochism Tango" by Tom Lehrer is one of his favorites.

I’ve had him as an OC in general for a while now but it’s really fucking funny cause recently I have been thinking of him as a sinner, but he’s A LOT like (our) Don funnily enough 😭 (with maybe a little bit of Sinclair parallels with the slumbering bloodthirst + incredible potential to do their job well but shh)

main sin = Lust, obsessed over a specific job title of people due to seeing justice done [Detectives for him and Fixers for her], has Bloodfiend fuckery going on, probably has to kill their mentor at one point during their canto because they’ve become the opposite everything that Don/Martin stood for, etc

Except he’s very arrogant, argumentative and a show off who sees the others as below him - because to him he has to be right and if we’re talking moreso specifically Limbus lore I’m thinking of I think the guy’s be associated with K Corp because green fluid go brr & because I’m probably gonna make his Canto a murder mystery that he falls into because his promise in his contract was discovering who killed his parents (which is the reason why he’s so determined on becoming a detective - I think in this AU one would be a Seven fixer and the other a Cinq West fixer, they used to tell him tales of their cases all the time and that’s why he wants to become a detective - he wants the glory and to enact justice while also avenging his parents by carrying on their legacy)

The plot twist with him though might be that his current mentor, a Roland-style nihilistic “The City runs on suffering so my bad actions are justified because I’m doing what I need to survive and other people’s problems are not my own” bloodfiend Fixer who leads his own office (maybe a good Grade 3 or so? Idk man) tried to sire him as to force Martin to work under him (because he recognized the kid’s determination and that he was very perceptive and quick-witted) and failed, with his initial hunger being so intense he bit into his parents [might keep this plot point might change it, also lmao another Don parallel FUCK] resulting in him having to deal with Martin following him around and slowly becoming a bloodbag over time, deciding to take the kid under his wing and make him his protégée as to make the most out of the situation.

The reason why I kinda want to make HIM the murderer rather than his mentor is because I want him to just utterly implode internally, because he does a similar thing in his main lore when discovering he’s part vampire despite thinking he was the only normal person around town - because to him others are far more willing to do bad things for themselves, but his bad actions are justified to him, so if he suddenly realizes that the very thing he considers the worst thing to happen to him is actually HIS fault rather than someone else’s, he’ll realize that what he hates most INCLUDES himself, and that according to his own moral code HE HIMSELF is EVIL, so he is NOT going to be ok about that, especially while losing his mind during his canto due to bloodbag brain decay

And yes I have a possible solution to how his bloodbag transformation was so overdue - and that’s the K Corp ampule fluid, because it reverts your body to a state from seconds before, right? It can basically bring people back from the brink of death, so could it be used by said mentor to keep his transformation in check and from happening, with Martin taking some ampules when he eventually ditches the Office for Limbus Company, but they eventually run out in the time coming up to his Canto, beginning his slow descent into blood-craved madness.

Funnily enough I’d probably make his main weapon a gun (with maybe an alternative melee weapon, perhaps a small dagger???), perhaps making him the only ammo base ID, with his being one of the many things I’ve taken from that short time I played as this funny little guy in VTM,, like we know Limbus has a LOT of money in their pockets LET ME HAVE A GUN USING SINNER RAHHHH HE DOESNT EVEN NEED TOO MANY BULLETS

Scream Au idea that's been rotting my brain (heavy scream 1 spoilers btw)

So as the season calls for it, halloween is super near. And because no one asked, I raise you with the wildest of ideas that have been brewing in my brain. 1.) because I don't know who else to talk about this INSANE idea with and 2.) I really really am feeling so much brainrot I want to write this into an actual fic.

As someone who has super super little experience with horror movies due to being a wuss that's easily scared, I absolutely am SO enamored with Scream 1 right now it's absolutely insane on my part. (But ADHD brain just is ARGHHH, yk? hyperfixation go brr.)

"What does this have to do with TOH?" you all are asking. I raise you with my dastardly plan of a TOH Scream AU because no one asked but I have been thinking THINKING about a possible scenario where I could make Luz Ghostface. You might be thinking too... "Why Cramity? Why do you want to instill trauma onto characters..." because Ghostface is cool, and I refuse to believe that Billy and Stu are so Hunter and Luz coded.

Think about it, okay? Billy could totally pass as Luz, and Stu is just under peer pressure to act as the killer. "But the homo erotic subtext! What about the rumors of Billy and Stu being gay for one another? Wouldn't that be... lun-" No!! No!! No Lunter in this au because I may strongly see that in Scream, but for the sake of my sanity... Nope.

Obviously, I do not think that Luz has the capabilities to do what Billy did to Sidney's mom. I don't think she'd just become Ghostface like that. Rightfully because if you are crossing that up with TOH Luz technically doesn't have the parental dynamic that Billy did so there's no way to really have that trauma spark. I think in a scenario where Eda DIES however that would happen. Especially if it's at the hands of the Blights. House fire, I'm thinking. An unexpected, plotted house fire to cover the tracks.

Now we have our "Sidney" Amity. Obviously. The final girl is so coded to be her in my mind.

Why would Hunter be involved? Because of Stu's reason. Peer pressure. I envision that Alador had an affair on Odalia with Darius and Belos ended up executing him. Though I do believe Hunter doesn't formally know the entirety of it (potential brainwashing to believe Belos did no wrong).

Starting scene however we open with Luz absolutely slaughtering Belos. (It's karma if you think about it with the knife teehee). But in exchange for his life, Hunter has to follow her and help her. Aka being Luz's "Stu".

So, they have a common enemy right? The Blights? Darius, Eda, and King died because of them. So obviously Luz wants to take it out on Amity because (Line from my notes) "I want to make you understand what it's like to lose the things you care about the most."

One by one it'd follow the similar pattern to plot. Though with TOH you'd possibly have to use crystal balls because there's no phones? I do think the phone thing is such a cooler more mysterious and chilling element so I might just say fuck it and leave that. BUT LUZ COULD USE INVISABILITY GLYPHS HAHA!! Deadly.

Luz would kill Amity's family until it's literally like Amity's the final girl when Luz realized that Amity reaaaaally never cared about her parents. She cared about her.

Well since I plotted earlier that the reason Eda died was due to a housefire, Amity presumes Luz to be dead. So it'd be kind of a shocker to her if she realizes that the person that's trying to kill her is really her estranged lover, right? I don't know. I'm really TRULY into the idea that Luz is just stalking around the manor and Amity may or may not be seeing things.

With that logic as well Luz and Hunter would have to formally die at the end, right? Yeah. But I think in my mind I'd have Hunter turn on Luz due to it being peer pressured at the start and wanting to be good and Luz just shooting him out of anger. "BUT HUN-" It's plot okay?

I don't know the entire details but I'm thinking so hard about how this could work.

instead of a bachelor's thesis, my computer science program has everyone do a capstone project where they put you in teams and pair you with a local company or a lab at the university and they have you do a programming project that lasts a semester or two. it's supposedly a great resume builder, but the problem is that a CS degree doesn't actually teach you how to write code for companies - that's something that you gotta learn on your own time & a lot of people don't do that. classic bad group project shenanigans ensued lol. a few of my team members were fantastic, some tried their best, and one dude literally did like zero work the entire semester and it made me So Angry. the rest of the group members were very confused about his skills and determined that he like definitely faked all the achievements on his LinkedIn page which was funny but also frustrating lol.

I would loveeee to get into malware analysis/reverse engineering as a subfield of cybersecurity. that stuff is so fun but also so difficult and I have a lot to learn.

What if I reworked the Miraculous Powers jk... unless

So I feel like a common criticism of Miraculous Ladybug is that the Miraculous are kind of underwhelming: The Lore says that the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous are equal in power, but the Ladybug miraculous has like a gazillion different powers (Lucky Charm, Purification, Miraculous Ladybug, and now miracle charms) while the Cat Miraculous has the one power. Likewise, the lore says that the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous are the strongest, but the both of them are just above average compared to literal Time Travel!

So building off the other two posts that reworked the Miraculous Ladybug power system (ill try to link them in the comments of this post so Tumblr dosen't hide this) I will now do what the title of this post says!

Yin & Yang miraculous: 7 powers (strongest miraculous go brr)

Wu Xing miraculous: 2 powers

Zodiac miraculous: don't exist lol (I don't like them. If I did keep them, then I think they should still just be one power. And the rabbit miraculous should have a different power)

Creation: Lucky Charm (same old)

Ladybug: Smell, Agility (all of the miraculous explicitly get passive animal powers now. Ladybug has a good sense of smell that she can use to identify objects and super agility to dodge attacks)

Transformation: Purify (It's the same thing as before, but now it works on all of the miraculous powers and not just the Butterfly/Peacock. Because the Ladybug miraculous is one of two strongest miraculous and it makes more sense for it to counter everything and not just two things)

Animation: Miraculous Ladybugs (Just going to point out that I changed the Peacock attribute from emotion to animation. I don't get how the life generator is Emotion outside of the fact that living things have feelings, in which case it could also be called the miraculous of Respiration cuz everything breaths right? Back on track, the Ladybugs work on everything now like Purify)

Protection: Miracle Charm (I really like how well this fits! And again, it works for all negative miraculous powers and not just two)

Illusion: Looking Glass (I am proud of that name. This power summons eyewear that lets the user see the truth. That truth could be anything from seeing through illusions or seeing through lies. Bout to end Lila's whole career)

Domination: Obedience (I kinda struggled to come up with a power this time. So, Obedience allows Ladybug to force someone to obey a rule or a group of related rules like the law of the land. The obvious use is to passify criminals, but it's also kinda brain washing. Marinette would be tempted to use this power on Chloe and Lila, but resolve herself to only use it on villains. Also it's broken so maybe using it drains all of Ladybug's energy)

Black Cat Miraculous of Destruction Yin

Destruction: Cataclysm (same old)

Black Cat: Hearing, Vibrosense, Night Vision, Speed, Agility (remember when Chat had Night vision in season 1? Anyway, Chat has a lot of sensor powers and speed to make him good at fighting and tracking down akumas, in contrast to Ladybug's defense orientation. Btw, Vibrosense is the thing Cats do when they sense vibrations in the air. Remember it because almost everyone has it lol)

Transformation: Corruption (I like to think Chat is villain coded [affectionate] so I gave him a lot of evil powers. Corruption is the same thing as Akumas, buy Chat can't control what they turn into or control the person. This makes this a high risk high reward power where Chat either turns a villain into something harmless like a dog or into godzilla)

Animation: Catastrophe (I stuggled to come up with something again. So this is like a reverse of Ladybug's Miraculous Ladybugs where, instead of restoring everything, Catastrophe blows up everything. Another high risk high reward power, its useful against villains that change the environment and terrible to use otherwise)

Protection: Charm Breaker (It breaks charms. It also breaks the magic hax that akuma villains use, so Chat could use this to break brain washing and the like. If Chats not going to be integral to curing akumas, he could at least be good for fighting them)

Illusion: Cheshire Cat (I stole this name from the other posts. So my version of this power lets Chat disguise himself as literaly anyone which gives him something to do outside of fighting. Now Chat can go espionage yay!)

Domination: Disobedience (While Marinette's Domination power is her only offensive one, Chat's Domination power is his only supportive one. Disobedience allows Chat to break magically forced obedience: so it works on Ladybugs stuff and Amoks.)

Butterfly Miraculous of Transformation

Transformation: Tenshi/Akuma (same old, now with clarification on what a good akuma is called)

Butterfly: Mind Sense, Flight (Butterflies aren't psychic but who cares. Mind sense alllows the user to sense people's active brains which includes emotions and some of their thoughts. He can also fly with wings now because I said so)

Peacock Miraculous of EmotionAnimation

Animation: Amok (same old)

Peacock: Sight, Hearing, Vibrosense, gliding (apparently, peacocks can sense vibrations using their feather crests. I really didn't know that before I started searching. Also, no flying, just falling with style)

Turtle Miraculous of Protection

Protection: Shell-ter

Turtle: Water Vibrosense, Strength, Endurance, Speed Swimming, Holding breath underwater (Did you catch that it's good underwater yet? The miraculous power ups still exist, the Turtle just makes those redundant now. Also, I tried to give Carapace some more tank abilities to make up for him being the least mobile hero. He can't jump over buildings, but getting punched by him is the same thing as being hit by a truck)

Fox Miraculous of Illusion

Illusion: Mirage

Fox: Hearing, Smell, Vibrosense, Night Vision, Speed, Agility (I really like how Rena Rouge is less of a fighter and more of a mezzer/trickster in the show, so I tried to highlight that here. She has a bunch of senses to help with intel gathering and can always dodge or run away if she gets caught. She's also faster than Chat and more Agile than Ladybug, but weaker than both)

Bee Miraculous of Domination (Note: Domination is the name of the Bee Miraculous attribute in the French version and the English one changed it to Subjection, which literally means the exact same thing. I like Domination better, so bye bye petite Subjection)

Domination: Venom

Bee: Smell, Vibrosense, Flight (Yes, Ladybug being the only bug her that cant fly is weird, but I didn't want her to lose her Spiderman swinging)

Ladybug and Chat would have to spend time during a better version of season three learning to use their new powers instead of relying on the dollar store justice league.

Since you called him a potential "Other" agent, I thought his codename could be Jack! The initial idea being, of course, "Jack-of-all-trades" or maybe even "Jackrabbit", but the more I thought of it, there's... a LOT of story tale Jacks, to say the least. It would be funny for him to change the "reason" behind his codename when asked - 'Jack' cuz he's got a broad range of skills! Cuz he's fast! Cuz he's good at taking down enemies much bigger than him - and everybody just ends up wondering if he deadass used his own name knowing nobody would REALLY know (bonus points if he's known for being shit at naming things).

I also thought it would be a funny dichotomy for Robin, the STAR of the agency, to be seen around with just. This Dude. Basic 'Jack'.

I was also thinking that the agent gives me Command Centre vibes! I can see him manning like Real-Time info acquisition and situation analysis. If a situation Arises, he could be the one recruiting the nearest agents into action, giving info about the situation or about up and coming backup! Though I'm not sure if that'd make him more like "staff" than an agent... Alternatively, of course, if there's an Immediate Crisis, Jack could be your best bet at handling it Decent even without much to go off of. The sort of guy that's never Bad to put in a mission, especially if there's a lot Unknown. Maybe he's not as Field-involved like Moon or Robin, but I could also see him acting as like long-distance backup, maybe with a rifle - eyes in the air, so to speak!

I like him as command center guy! Robin doesn't mingle much with other field agents, but it would make sense they at least sometimes talk to the guy providing mission memos and organizing urgent changes and shit Still hard to be articulate the thoughts are foggy but I do love that idea very much, just Robin's one point of more regular contact next to Dusk. Makes that reveal comic even funnier if "Jack" really just assumed like. Dude you really hang with one guy despite me and you don't even know he has a work partner? lmao

Maybe Jack is his second name - people ask him "did you really use your first name as code name??" and he truthfully goes "no (:" and he's just another guy the higher ups sigh about but let it go because he still does his job well, and not being a field agent the code name isn't as important

Still no promises he'll play a big role but I'm keeping him in my pocket as OC now lmao, personal brain blorbo that only exists because he looked polite after I decided to give him some hair fgdhjs

Since I have finally been able to relax because the Yandere Bundle Pack is released and the like, I've been spending this month working on script reworking/planning, to adjust on the new characters and sprites (my style updated a bit so I want to rework them better). Those will be seen only on Patreon unless otherwise stated.

Starting this February, I'll be posting more background stuff on DITO while going back to a vote system in the VN server to see who people would like to see next while we wait. Maybe I'll start doing bi-weekly streams so that people could watch me work on DITO related stuff (and work on fixing OBS so that I can talk clearly and maybe voice things as Bird). But no promises on that idea.

Im excited to see what people would think about the cast. I'm excited to show the bar drinks that Morogh would offer MC. Though... I am terrified about how to implement them in the game and which ones should show up in the demo.

world building cause twn doesn't pt. 1: the northern realms

okay i'm making this because 1 witcher netflix is the most convoluted and confusing thing i've ever seen and does literally no world building and 2 special interest make autism brain go brr.

basic info

this is gonna be a multi part series about the witcher universe but this is all about the northern realms!

ciri's timeline in twn encompasses the entirety of the first northern war, beginning with the attack on cintra and ending with the battle at sodden

this is just covering the human portions of the north. i'll talk about vergen, brokilon, and dol blathanna later

so the entire witcher takes place on the continent

it's divided into multiple kingdoms, vassal states, and territories

now borders change a lot but this is the general idea before the first northern war (started 1263 with the invasion of cintra but we'll get more into that later)

also important to note that the show ends in 1264 with geralt meeting ciri in sodden

the continent is mainly divided between south and north, with nilfgaard and its dependencies and vassal states (including toussaint, mettina, vicovaro, nazair) in the south and the northern realms (redania, temeria, kaedwen, aedirn, lyria and rivia, cidaris, kovir and poviss, and creyden) in the north

aedirn

this is where yennefer is from! more specifically, it's capital vengerberg. as of twn, its king is virfuril. he's briefly name dropped in blood of elves and assassins of kings, you might remember him dancing with yennefer in the ball.

that's him right there. for some extra trivia he's the 15th king of aedirn, his son is demavend III and his grandson is stennis

aedirn is mainly manufacturing. in the north (upper aedirn), dwarves control the continent's best mines. the south produces more finished goods like textiles, weapons, and dyes

for some notable aedirnians we have yennefer, saskia/saesenthessis (borch three jackdaws/villentretenmirth's daughter), letho, aplegatt, and seltkirk

aedirnian cities include vengerberg, gulet, and hagge

next up - redania!

as of the first northern war, redania's king was vizimir II. i don't think we saw him in twn, but i could be wrong. redania is known for having the best intelligence network on the continent, along with control of the best farmland

redania is a super important kingdom, and we've already met quite a few important redanians and will probably meet a lot more.

dandelion/jaskier, chireadan, shani, philippa eilhart, sigi dijkstra are all redanian

redanian cities - novigrad, oxenfurt (home of oxenfurt academy, dandelion's alma mater), tretogor (the capital), blaviken, and rinde

for temeria!

we briefly visited temeria in the episode with the striga (adda the white). as of the first northern war, the king is foltest. he lives in the capital vizima (controlled by nilfgaard in wild hunt). that's him right there

temeria (especially foltest) is notoriously xenophobic and racist. but, it is one of the best places for sorceresses as its home to thanedd isle and aretuza.

temeria controls the mahakaman mountains, and therefore some of the most prosperous mines in the continent. these mines, along with highly developed agricultural and trade systems, make temeria mad rich

a lot of my favourites are temerian we have keira metz, vernon roche, thaler, *barf* triss merigold, codringher and fenn, jan natalis, and ves

temeria has a lot of important cities like gors velen, vizima (also spelled wyzim or wyzima), and maribor. there's also some territories/provinces like brugge, ellander, maribor, sodden, and velen

kaedwen

kaedwen is in the far north west, and is where the witcher fortress of kaer morhen is located. kaedwen is always feuding with aedirn over control of the pontar valley, a profitable area on the kaedweni-aedirnian border. as of the first northern war, kaedwen is ruled by king henselt, who might have been name dropped once or twice in twn i dont really remember.

kaedwen is very cold, a large portion of it is the blue, kestrel, and fiery mountains. it's also home to ban aard, which is basically the aretuza for boys and where stregobor taught istredd

the only really notable kaedwenis are sabrina glevissig (that's her in twn) and cregennan of lod

some kaedweni cities are ban aard, ard carraigh, lod, and ban gleán

kaedwen, temeria, aedirn, and redania make up the four kingdoms, a group of human-majority states that nilfgaard really likes attacking. the northern wars are pretty much all nilfgaard vs the northern kingdoms, since most smaller realms are usually absorbed into either the north or south, but that doesn't mean they're not important!

cintra

twn gave us a solid introduction to cintra, which as you know was ruled by queen calanthe. her suicide after the nilfgaardian invasion was basically the first major casualty of the first northern war. cintra then became a nilfgaardian dependency, ruled by emperor emhyr var emreis

notable cintrians - princesses cirilla fiona elen rhiannon and pavetta fiona elen, angoulême, and the house of attre

cintra isn't very big, but does have the provence attre and cities like erlenwald and cintra (the capital)

cidaris

ruled by king ethain, one of the many people calanthe betrothed to ciri and then was like lol nevermind. also includes the province bremervoord, which is ruled by duke agloval and supported by the harvesting and trade of pearls

notable cidarians - dorregary, valdo marx, and vilgefortz (thats him there)

a group of 4 city states (caingorn, malleore, barefield, and cinfrid) that are ruled by king niedamir from the capital hengfors

from what i've found all the city states have a capital of the same name

lyria and rivia

these are a little complicated, but basically lyria and rivia are the two main kingdoms of the confederation of realms in the dol angra valley. as of twn, queen meve of lyria and king reginald of rivia are married, therefore uniting the two realms

in the summer, the capital is lyria and in the winter it's rivia. lyria is also primarily agricultural while rivia is more industrial

queen meve is really the only important one here

kovir and poviss

kingdom in the far north that is responsible for the most exporting of minerals on the continent. as of the first northern war it is ruled by esterad thyssen

notable residents include stregobor, renfri, sheala de tancarville, coën, and istredd

important cities - creyden, tancarville, lan exeter, aedd gynvael, and thwyth

skellige

skellige is different from the other northern kingdoms in a few ways. one, it's not really a kingdom but a collection of 7 clans each led by a specific jarl. a clan is based on kinship, and the jarl rules them. what's confusing here is that there's also a jarl of skellige, who is in charge of the entire archipelago's armed forces. the king or queen of skellige is chosen by all of the jarls to help unify the clans against nilfgaard

skellige is also the only island kingdom. its an archipelago to the west of cintra, but is almost always allied to the north

the clans are brokvar, an craite, dimun, drummond, heymaey, tordarroch, and tuirseach, and they generally each occupy a specific island

the main islands are ard skellig (an craite and drummond), an skellig (tuirseach), faroe (dimun), hindarsfjall (heymaey), spikeroog (brokvar), and undvik (tordarroch)

some skelligers - crach an craite, eist tuirseach (that's him there), mousesack/ermion, draig bon-dhu, cerys and hjalmar an craite, and birna bran
