Lando sat in front of the camera, comfortably settled in what appeared to be his apartment. Beside him, several bags overflowed with letters and gifts—tokens of appreciation from fans collected throughout race weekends.

"Right, so—" He clapped his hands together, ruffling his curls absentmindedly as he figured out how to begin.

"A while back, I filmed a video reading a compilation of really sweet messages from young fans. My team and I saw how much it meant to them, so we wanted to do something similar. This time, as a way of showing appreciation for all the effort you guys put into making these gifts, we've gathered a bunch of them here, and we’ll be going through them together." He gestured at the bags surrounding him, a warm smile tugging at his lips.

As he took in the sheer amount of mail, Lando let out a small chuckle. "I doubt I’ll get through all of these by myself, so I’ve brought in some help—my lovely assistant for today." He grinned at someone off-camera before patting the spot beside him.

Y/N walked into frame, settling down next to him with an easy smile. She glanced at him before turning to the camera. "Hey guys, I’m Lando’s assistant for the day."

"My beautiful assistant here actually helped collect these gifts—whether from fans at the track or people we ran into on the streets."

Y/N nodded, looking around at the colourful packages. "I’m really excited. I’ve already seen some of these, and they’re really cool. You guys are so talented."

"Alright, let’s get started." Lando reached into the nearest bag, pulling out a handful of letters. As he read through them, he skipped over certain parts, but the way his face softened showed how much the words meant to him.

Meanwhile, Y/N unwrapped a small package, revealing a set of handmade beaded bracelets in papaya colors, complete with Lando’s initials and a tiny version of his race helmet.

"Lan, look!" She held them up, making him pause mid-sentence. Turning to the camera, she showed off the bracelets with a grin.

"Those are sick," Lando said, taking one and slipping it onto his wrist before grabbing the other and gently putting it on Y/N. "We actually love these—we’ve got a whole box of them somewhere in the apartment."

"I'm pretty sure I have one that says 'Smooth Operator,'" Y/N laughed. "Not sure if the fan meant to give it to me or if they wanted you to pass it on to Carlos, but either way, we kept it!"

Lando chuckled, shaking his head. "Carlos is gonna love that."

And with that, they continued sifting through the gifts, their easy banter filling the room as they shared moments of appreciation for the fans who had taken the time to send them something special.

Lando picked up a letter, his smile widening as he began to read aloud.

"Dear Lando... My dad told me I could be just like you one day. I also want to drive really fast cars. P.S. I think your hair is really nice. P.P.S. Can Y/N and I be friends too?"

He let out a chuckle, glancing over at Y/N before handing her the letter.

Y/N skimmed through it, her expression softening. "Of course we can be friends!" she said brightly, looking into the camera with a warm smile.

They continued opening gifts, appreciating each thoughtful item. But when Y/N pulled out a beautifully crocheted tote bag—designed with Lando’s helmet pattern—she let out an audible gasp, holding it up for the camera.

Lando chuckled, immediately recognizing the look in her eyes. "You want it, huh?"

Y/N nodded eagerly, giving him a hopeful glance.

His features softened. "I don’t think they’ll mind if you have it, my love," he said with a fond smile before turning back to his own box.

Y/N peeked inside the bag, pulling out the accompanying letter. As she read it, a soft laugh escaped her lips, catching Lando’s attention.

"What?" he asked, pausing mid-unwrapping.

"It’s for me," she said, biting back a grin.

"The tote?"

"Yeah, they made it for me," she confirmed, handing him the letter as proof.

Lando scanned the note before shaking his head with a smirk. "Guess I should’ve known."

Y/N beamed, hugging the bag close. "I love it even more now."

"Look at this," Lando grinned, holding up a sheet of fan-made Sonny Angel stickers—tiny, cherubic versions of himself, Oscar, and Carlos.

"Ah!" Y/N gasped, immediately reaching for her phone. She flipped it over to show the camera her phone case, which had the same Lando Sonny Angel sticker stuck to the back. "The fan from Australia gave me some when I saw her!"

Lando’s expression softened as he looked at her. "Glad you’re repping the right person," he teased. "Bet you don’t have this, though." With a triumphant smirk, he pulled out a Miffy plushie—dressed in a tiny replica of his racing suit, complete with a mini helmet in its hands.

Y/N let out a loud gasp, covering her mouth. "That’s adorable!"

Lando turned to the camera knowingly. "She’s gonna ask me for it—"

"This one's mine too, actually," Y/N cut in before he could finish.

Lando blinked, looking over to see her holding a letter she had just fished out from the box. He leaned over to peek at it before shaking his head with a dramatic sigh.

"Why do I have a feeling half of these are actually meant for you now?" he pouted, reluctantly handing over the plushie.

Y/N took it eagerly, a wide smile spreading across her face as she admired it. "What can I say?" she grinned, squeezing the tiny Miffy. "They love me."

ando squinted dramatically at the camera. "And here I was thinking I was your favorite because of my kindness."

Y/N smirked, immediately catching onto the reference. "You are so kindness, Lando. We love your kindness," she teased, perfectly mimicking Oscar from their last video.

Lando burst out laughing, shaking his head. "Thank you, my love. I try," he said, voice laced with faux humility. Then, with a soft chuckle, he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek.

Y/N beamed, playfully nudging him. "You’re so humble too."

"Truly the full package," Lando sighed, before reaching for another gift, still grinning.

it’s honestly unfair how famous you are.

not just “front row at fashion week” famous or “gets surprise flowers from designers” famous. no, you are the woman. the woman of the decade. the woman of the century. the woman everyone either wants to be, wants to marry, or wants to be adopted by. it’s global. international. peasants know your name. politicians have posters of you in their offices. pop stars write songs about you and your career. your wedding at twenty was televised and momentarily broke peace treaties in three countries because no one wanted to miss it.

and despite all this, you still look like you��d throw hands if someone touched your man without permission.

you married young, and to a man whose name can silence entire stadiums. a man just as disgustingly in love with you as you are with him. the kind of love that makes people sigh dreamily and gag a little. mutual. sickening. soulmate-coded. the internet has never recovered.

so when you walked onto that late night interview show in your sunglasses and million-dollar smile, the audience erupted. cheers, tears, screams of “MOTHER!” and “SHE’S HERE!” filled the room. you waved like a benevolent queen, high-fived a teenage fan in the front row, and sat down with the grace of someone who knew the world revolved around her and her alone.

the interviewer blinked at you like they couldn't believe you were real. “i have to say, you look stunning tonight.”

you laughed, low and easy. “thank you. i stole this outfit from coco chanel herself.”

the crowd screamed again.

the interview went smoothly at first. questions about your upcoming projects. your career milestones. your recent appearance at the met gala where you’d made headlines for not blinking once during the entire red carpet. the fans ate it up. the comments online were already calling you mother, icon, CEO of their hearts.

and then, mid-way through the interview, the host leaned forward with a little glint in their eye.

“so… we’ve all seen the fan edits. the montages. the insane compilations. i have to ask… how’s your sex life with your husband?”

the audience sucked in a sharp breath.

your lips twitched.

“oh, naughty,” you hummed, voice dripping with amusement as you crossed one leg over the other. “buttttt i won’t be saying anything, because i’ve seen the fandom edits. i know what y’all are capable of. i’m not giving you another frame to turn into a ‘me x my husband moaning in 4k’ tiktok.”

the crowd exploded. half of them screamed. the other half cried. one person fainted.

the host choked, laughing. “wait, wait. you watch the edits?”

“of course,” you replied smoothly. “i have to see what my digital doppelgänger is doing. sometimes the plots are better than actual TV shows.”

a fan in the audience shouted, “IS YOUR HUSBAND JEALOUS?”

you smirked. “jealous? he makes fake accounts just to defend me in the comments.”

that was the end of the interview, essentially. nothing else mattered. the internet went feral. the words 'naughty but no moaning tiktok sorry’ trended worldwide. fan accounts posted clips of the moment on loop, edits rained down within hours, and despite your very clear warning, the fandom somehow went harder than ever.

there were now more suspiciously well-edited videos. some with you and your husband in soft domestic bliss, others labeled “you can’t tell me they didn’t do it in the kitchen after this interview.” some of them were too well-edited. you scrolled a bit through tik tok days later, narrowed your eyes, and muttered, “that audio was fake. i did not say ‘daddy’ like that.”

your husband passed by, peeked at your phone, and mumbled, “i kind of like that one. they gave me a six pack.”

“as if you don’t have one.”

the fanbase? oh, it's unhinged. there’s the main fandom, the professionals who have followed your rise since you were eighteen and treat you like royalty, and then there’s the reader x character fandom, a subculture so passionate they’ve created an entire parallel timeline. you’ve seen it all. fanfiction with 300k words. hand-drawn comics. romantic timelines. detailed analysis on your zodiac compatibility with your husband (as if you weren’t married for four years now).

and you? you love them. adore them. blow kisses and comment emojis and once personally called out a stalker in the dms like:

❌ you. in the bushes yesterday. blocked.

✅ everyone else. you may continue to thirst in peace.

the world can’t get enough of you. neither can he. your names are etched into pop culture history like an eternal love spell. and even though you tried to warn the internet… somewhere, in the depths of fandom editing hell, a new video is rendering.

₊˚⊹ ᰔ stop procrastinating: school edition ᝰ.ᐟ

procrastination caused my own personal burn out with school and it caused so much anxiety about my academics as well. when we get into the habit of doing it now rather than later, we relieve so much stress— more than we actually realize too!

let’s begin !!

ᝰ.ᐟ think about all the stress

while there is a lot of stress when it comes to school, we have to consider how much stress we get when we procrastinate versus the stress we get from school in general. the stress we get just in general can seem like a lot, and it is a lot! but when we procrastinate, we just add onto the stress we already have and creating even bigger feelings about school that might turn into something that isn’t so easily manageable.

the number of classes you’re taking

the difficulty level of certain classes

how much homework or studying you have to do

procrastination adds the stress of…

meeting due dates/deadlines

cramming an entire unit’s worth of material the night before an exam

a large pile of work you still have to do when all your due dates are on the same day

losing very much needed sleep to try and get everything done

the possibility of turning in work that might not be your best and earning a failing grade

the possibility of losing silly points due to simple mistakes because you didn’t have an ample amount of time to study

the risk of turning in late work and losing points

not being able to balance your personal life with your academic career, risking burn out

notice how procrastination stress can come in a variety of forms? adding on that kind of stress on top of stress you might already be feeling will only continue to weigh you down, and the goal is to relieve that stress, not make it worse.

you have to consider the fact that procrastinating can only worsen your stress. “but i work best under pressure!” no, babe. you think you work better under pressure because you’ve got all this adrenaline rushing through you to get everything done, and exerting that much energy will only burn you out!

ᝰ.ᐟ how to stop procrastinating

use a planner

i’ve talked about the use of planners in a previous post, but i’m bringing them up again because they seriously are that useful when it comes to stopping that procrastination habit!

you’ll be able to plan out your day or even your entire week and get a look ahead for what’s to come. you can review your daily/weekly plans and start by setting aside a designated time frame for school-related work.

let’s say it’s a tuesday and you have the day off from work but you have a doctor’s appointment at 12pm and then you have to run errands that might take about 1-2 hours, so you’ll be out of your house between 11:30am to 2-2:30pm. but let’s also add in that you have a dinner with a friend around 6pm. set aside time from 3pm to 5pm to do homework or to study! when you review your plans for the day, you have to find time where you might have some downtime and use it towards schoolwork! wherever you have some downtime throughout your day/week, use that time to get to work!

prioritize tasks

create a check list from the most important to the least important! you can do this before you sit down and get to work or when you’re planning out your day/week. check due dates for assignments and see which ones need to be completed first and which ones you still have time for. make note of exam/quiz days and if you have a quiz for one class next week but a big exam the week after, prioritize the quiz for next week.

also when you do create your little check lists, work in sections! review all of your classes and see which ones take priority and which ones can wait. of course, it’s important to prioritize all of your classes as they’re all equally important, but when you plan out your day/week and you compile a checklist for every single one of your classes and assignments you can really quickly overwhelm yourself!

eat the frog method

i’ve seen this method be talked about a lot! if you’re unfamiliar with it, it’s basically (in really simple terms) doing the most difficult task first and working from there, leaving your least difficult task last!

this method helps to alleviate so much stress off your shoulders! getting the hardest assignment/task out of the way will make doing the rest of your work a breeze! and, once you get that most difficult task done, you don’t have to stress about it anymore!

remove any and all distractions

i mentioned this in a previous post as well, but if you have an iphone or any other apple product, you can create different focus modes that you can customize for different things! i’ve personally created a “study session” focus mode that i customized to only show homescreen pages that won’t cause a distraction and i’ve also set it so that i don’t receive any notifications. if you are able to do that, do it!

if you don’t have an iphone or don’t have a “do not disturb” feature, then simply silence your phone and keep it away from you. if you’re at home studying, maybe place your phone on the opposite side of the room or even put it in a completely different room. if you’re out at the library or any other place where you might study, tuck your phone into your bag.

get noise cancelling headphones! or work in a relatively quiet area! outside noises, whether it be noise from your family or noise from other people in a café or even noises like construction work outside, can cause a lot of distractions. your work/study environment should allow you to fully focus on what tasks you’re completing and different sounds/noises can lead to you losing your focus.

remember to take breaks

when you set aside time to do school work or study, you might feel the need to get it all done in one sitting. doing so can cause burn out, so you need to remember to take breaks!

especially when studying, i’d implement the pomodoro method (25min of work - 5min break, 50min of work - 10min break). of course you can use this method while doing homework as well!

i cannot stress this enough: take breaks. please! don’t overwork yourself. your mind seriously needs to rest from time to time.

change your mindset

how you think of school and the assignments/work that comes with it plays a huge role in your productivity level. if you consistently have that mindset of “i’ll do it later” or “i’ll do it when i have more time” you’ll quickly see the days go by and then suddenly deadlines are a day away or your big exam is the next morning!

if you can do it now, then do it! i mentioned earlier to work on schoolwork whenever you have downtime, and i mean it! your time is precious and it should be spent getting work done and accomplishing goals!

i also say over and over again that taking breaks is essential, but with this and making sure you get things done right when you have the time to do it, there needs to be a balance. you have to balance your personal time and productivity time because procrastinating on your own well-being is just as stressful as procrastinating on your academics.

ᝰ.ᐟ final notes

i’ve fallen victim to procrastination, trust me when i say that! it’s a hard habit to break, especially when we don’t realize we have that habit! but it’s all about finding a balance between school and your personal life (and work if that applies to you!). when you give more of your energy towards one over the other, you lose potential good energy that could go into the other. you are your own priority, and i will always stand by that, but i know a lot of us value our education so we have to make sure that is also in our list of priorities. we all wish to succeed and starting off our success within our classes is the first step to achieving those bigger long-term goals!

𖤐 He’d constantly remind you that society’s standards are a scam, joong will make it his life mission to make you feel like the most beautiful gorgeous person in the room not only with his designs but with his actions and words of affirmations.

𖤐 I feel like his favourite feature of you would be your waist. When he brings you to a fashion event or anything, he loves wrapping his arms around you so he could slowly and gently rub the side of your tummy.

𖤐 He’s a foodie so he will ensure you eat your meals and snacks daily. I feel like he’d prepare you an over the top dish and write cute notes with it if he’s out and can’t eat with you.

𖤐 Expect self care nights, he loves to take care of you both and pamper you ranging from bubble baths and skincare routines. I’ve got a small drabble for both;

⤷ The warm water lapped at the sides of the tub as you leaned back against Seonghwa, bubbles piling high around you. It was peaceful, the scent of lavender and vanilla filling the air. Your eyes were half-closed when you felt the subtle shift of his arm behind you.

“What are you doing?” you asked, voice lazy with relaxation.

“Nothing,” he replied, though the playful lilt in his voice betrayed him.

A moment later, you felt it—bubbles being stacked atop your head, the slick slide of foam as he carefully shaped something.

“Seriously?” you laughed, sitting up slightly to catch his grin.

“Hold still,” he teased, leaning closer to perfect his work. His brows knit together in faux concentration, lips quirked up in amusement. “I’m almost done.”

You rolled your eyes playfully but let him continue, feeling the unmistakable shape of a shark fin forming. When he finally sat back to admire his creation, the pride on his face was impossible to ignore.

“There. Perfect,” he announced with a triumphant chuckle. “My very own bubble shark.”

You turned to face him, water sloshing gently as you scooped up a handful of foam. With a quick swipe, you smeared it across his nose and cheeks, earning a gasp of mock outrage.

“Now you’re next,” you said with a smirk.

𖤐 Skincare routine !

⤷ Seonghwa’s lap was warm beneath you, your knees resting on either side of his hips as you faced him. The faint glow of candlelight flickered across the room, casting a golden hue over the array of skincare products spread out on the table beside you. The soft cotton of the Light Fury headband around your head kept your hair neatly away from your face, and you couldn’t help but smile at the sight of Seonghwa’s matching Toothless one.

“One second Princess,” he murmured, voice low and soothing as he smoothed the face mask over your cheeks with gentle fingers. His brow furrowed in concentration, tongue peeking out slightly as he carefully applied the cool, creamy mixture.

“You take this way too seriously,” you teased, though the fondness in your voice betrayed you.

“And you don’t take it seriously enough,” he countered, his lips quirking into a soft grin as he leaned back to admire his work. “There. Perfect.”

You smiled softly and but couldn’t hide the warmth in your chest as he reached for a towel to clean his hands. Before you could shift or move, his hands found their way to your waist, sliding slowly down to rest on your stomach.

The touch was light at first, his palms gliding up and down your sides, the warmth of his fingers seeping through your oversized shirt. Then he gave your tummy a soft, affectionate squeeze, his thumbs brushing over the gentle curves there.

“What are you doing?” you asked, your voice softer now, almost shy.

“Appreciating you,” he said simply, his gaze meeting yours with an honesty that made your breath catch. His hands continued their slow, loving exploration, his thumbs drawing lazy patterns as he squeezed you again, this time with a little more intention. “You’re so beautiful.”

You huffed a quiet laugh, trying to hide the way his words flustered you. “We’re supposed to be waiting for these masks to dry, not… whatever this is.”

“Waiting is boring,” he said with a sly smile, leaning forward to press a soft kiss to your nose. “This is better.”

You sighed, feigning exasperation, but melted into his touch as his hands stayed firm and comforting on your body, grounding you in the moment. The quiet hum of music in the background mixed with the sound of your breathing, and for a while, the world outside didn’t exist.

ASK COMPILATION: Pregnancy back-seater, WOTC-brand poppers and humanoid feet.

It's been a while since I last took a good dive into my inbox!

Thank you so much to everyone who takes the time to message in, whether it be questions, prompts, or words of support and encouragement! I unfortunately cannot get to everybody, but I do my best while trying not to be spammy with the reply posts 😅

I actually have plans to do just that and an ANCIENT short comic idea that I still really like, so you can look forward to having your wish granted eventually ;)

Though, to be clear, Orin is older than DU drow, so she might not look that much younger. I do want to have a little more fun with hers and Sarevok's design however (also to just draw more young DU drow overall).

There are pros and cons to either, but I think he probably enjoys having a penis more. Not only is he already used to that anatomy, but it likely suits their very versatile dynamic most. If we're talking gender alone, I think Astarion would be truly indifferent 🤷

Oh he would be insufferable. Attentive and loving to a fault. If the partner in question happened to enjoy luxuriating and doing nothing all day, it would work out wonderfully - but if they have any desire for independence and self-sufficiency while pregnant, that might pose a problem. He also might have some trouble empathizing with the shittier parts of carrying - being so enamored with the idea that he can't fathom the downsides being so bad that some tender love and care can't fix them.

DU drow would be similarly whimsied during birth and definitely be very involved.

Somewhat surprisingly, however, I don't think anything could ever convince him to put the baby's life above his partner's. If at any point that was a decision that had to be made, he would, without hesitation.

He must have 2 or 3 long suffering pairs that look pretty similar. Very much the kind of guy to wear clothes until they completely fall apart.

LOL, THANK YOU. Were it not for the occasional glass of wine, the guy would probably be some sort of murderous straight-edge weirdo 😂EXTREMELY self-righteous about it, of course.

Except for poppers. I don't know what poppers look like in Faerun, but whatever that would be - he had a drawer full of them.

So, on one hand, you are completely right. It does suit him very well.

On the other hand, I am DYING to know why you think so, because that's the first I'm ever thinking about it myself and have no answer beyond "he looks like a foot man".

I don't know about the ears but he can def' make the girls hop.

I'm sure there's a lot of little things you could isolate that we have in common, that tends to be the case for most people (in that we can easily relate to fictional characters in general) - but we are largely opposites. I guess we both like animals, though even in that we part when it comes to our attitude towards house pets and the likes - I'm taking my cat to the orthopedist tomorrow. Somehow that doesn't sound like something he would do.

I guess that depends on what your definition of fem dressing is! I have put him in lingerie before and the guy DOES sport low-cut shirts and tight, tight pants all the time. I don't think dresses would really suit his figure, but he wouldn't be opposed to something frilly in the bedroom if it gave Astarion a laugh.

In every day life, I just don't think he would enjoy the flowyness and pomp one might associate with more (fantasy genre) feminine dress. He's a practical guy! Hence why his wardrobe looks like a lesbian's.

It is only humanoid feet, sorry anon, LOL.

I have had a couple of friends that remind me of Astarion, I think we could have been fine-weather buddies when I was in my early twenties and then inevitably stop talking to each other and not really miss one another very much 😂 same thing if I existed in the universe of BG3 - no matter what, I just wouldn't be wanting to get involved with whatever they're doing.

I could never be friends with DU drow but we would get along at the pub. I'm fairly confident they would both find me horrifically boring, be nice to my face, and make fun of me behind my back.

Summary: Following the incident of last year, Yoongi does his best to make your birthday one you won’t forget. Part 2 to this request

Of all the many things that Min Yoongi is, a planner is definitely among the most prominent. From album concepts and promotions to the interior design of his house, he is incredibly meticulous. Which is why, as your birthday began to draw nearer, he began carefully plotting out the perfect way to make it special for you.

He still felt incredibly guilty after the fuck up of your last birthday, and he was making damn sure he didn’t get the dates mixed up this year. He had multiple alarms set on his phone for a month, two weeks, one week, even one day before just to make sure he didn’t forget for even a moment that your special day was coming up.

You had told him you didn’t want to do anything super elaborate, just a relaxed night in with him like usual, but he wanted to do something extra to surprise you.

The question was what though?

In his quest to give you the most special day possible, he reached out to a few of your friends for ideas, even asking his group members for advice, knowing that you had become friends with several of them over the years as well. Some of them had good advice, Joon suggested a cafe date and book shopping, Jimin mentioned a picnic in the park, Jin and Hobi however got slightly over involved, suggesting bigger and crazier ideas.

“What if you planned a big surprise party? Get all her friends together, maybe rent a room at a club or something? I know a few places that would be great!” Hobi suggested during rehearsals one day.

“Nah, she’s not really a club type person.” Yoongi said with a quick shake of his head.

“What about dinner at that new place, the really fancy one with the rooftop view?” Jin suggested.

“She’s not a fan of heights…”

“What about renting a party bus-”

“You know what, I think I’ve got a good mix of ideas, I’ll figure it out, thanks guys!” Yoongi said quickly, grabbing his things and excusing himself, head spinning from the onslaught of ideas that the guys had dumped in his lap. He knew they meant well, but they, Hobi especially, tended to forget how introverted the two of you were. Literally one of his favorite memories with you was when you had sprained your ankle and the two of you had just camped out in the living room for the whole weekend, cuddling, napping and watching movies and bad tv while you’d shown him tiktoks.

He stopped in the middle of the hall. That was it.

He quickly made his way to his studio, making a list of all the favorite things you had sent him on tiktok and instagram. He tracked down the bakery that made the raspberry cakes you thought were pretty, the bookstore and cafe you had mentioned wanting to visit, everything he could remember he compiled into a list and then started trying to figure out how to naturally utilize as many of them as possible into a day for the two of you.

He, of course, told you nothing of what he was planning, only asking you to leave your schedule open for him, which you happily obliged.

When you opened your eyes the next morning, the first thing you saw was your favorite color, your favorite color everywhere. Blinking in confusion, you slowly sat up, looking around the room in disbelief.

The night before your birthday, he set his alarm for 3am, slipping out of the bed and quietly creeping around the house, preparing everything for in the morning while you slept. It was well over a hour later before he quietly slipped back under the covers next to you, falling asleep with a faint grin on his lips, looking forward to seeing your reaction in the morning…

Balloons, the floor of your room was a sea of balloons in varying shades of your favorite color, from neon to pastels, you couldn’t believe your eyes.

“What the-?”

A faint noise from behind you drew your attention to your boyfriend who was waking slowly next to you, blinking up at you with a tired half smile.

“Morning.” He rasped in his rough morning voice.

“What is all this?” You asked in disbelief.

“Hmm?” He glanced around the room sleepily with an expression of faux innocence, as if he didn’t spend over half an hour silently sneaking them into the room while you were asleep.

“Looks like someone’s having a birthday,” He mumbled, rolling over onto his other side. “good for them…”

“Yoongi!” You smacked him with your pillow, earning a low groan followed by muffed chuckle.

“What?!” He complained.

“What?! What is this?!” You asked again, gesturing around the room.

“Nothing, I just wanted you to have a nice start to your day.” He mumbled, burying his face in the pillow. “I didn’t think I’d get beat up for it…”

You stared down at him, a slow grin spreading across your face before you jumped on top of his blanketed form, hugging him tightly and kissing any patch of skin you could reach.

“YOU’RE *kiss* SO *kiss* FUCKING *kiss* CUTE *kiss*”

“Yah! Hajima! He complained, trying and failing to bat you away and shield himself with the duvet, but you persisted, catching his hands and more or less pinning him to the bed under you.

“I love you.” You said with a massive smile, pecking him on the lips.

“I love you too, now please stop trying to kill me.” He grumbled, trying and failing to bite back a grin. He was thrilled that you were already so happy with his efforts, and you hadn’t even left the bed yet. “Do you want breakfast?”

“Yes please.” You released his hands, sliding off his lap and landing spread eagle on your side of the bed with a giggle.

“Dork.” He mumbled, watching you with a grin.

“You love me.” You replied.

“Yeah yeah, c’mon.” He grumbled, shuffling his feet to make his way through the sea of balloons with you in tow.

Once the two of you made your way to the kitchen, he sat you down at the table before silently beginning to pull his pre-prepared ingredients from the fridge, retrieving a bowl of pancake batter and several dishes of pre-cut fruits and berries.

You raised a brow in surprise, watching him with wide eyes as he heated a pan on the stove.

He paused as he caught sight of your questioning look. “What?”

“When did you do all this?” You asked.

“Three am,” He said with a dismissive shrug. “Do you want mickey shaped pancakes or normal ones?”

Your eyes went wide in concern at his answer. “Yoongi-”

“Mickey or normal?” He repeated, ignoring whatever argument you were about to make, holding up the spatula in mock warning.

You sat back in your chair with a sigh. “...normal.” You said quietly.

“Thank you.” He immediately turned back to the stove and set to work.

You sat at the table, munching on strawberries and watching him with soft eyes as he cooked, loving how cozy and domestic the whole scene was.

“After breakfast I thought we could go down to that bookstore you’d been wanting to check out,” He said as he plated up the first stack of pancakes. “And then maybe we could grab lunch on the way home. I also heard about this farmers market-”

“-what a minute,” You interrupted, laughing slightly. “I have work, remember? You have work.”

“No we don’t.” He shook his head. “I texted your boss last night and told them you wouldn’t be in today, and the guys can manage without me at rehearsals. Today is just for you and me.”

I stared at him in disbelief, eyes misting over slightly. “That’s really sweet…” You said quietly.

He caught your change of tone, glancing over at you with slightly concerned eyes, expression softening as he gave you an understanding smile.

“You deserve sweet...” He said softly, setting a plate in front of you and pressing a quick kiss to your forehead. “Now eat, no crying, okay?”

“Okay…” You agreed with a small sniff.

The two of you ate in relative quiet, impressed once again by his cooking skills and making a few teasing comments that you’d have to beg for him to make pancakes at three am more often, which he quickly shut down, making you laugh.

After breakfast, the two of you got dressed and went out to a few of your favorite shops, Yoongi following you around with a tiny smile as you excitedly went on about the various books and items you found, buying you a few of your favorites despite your protests that you didn’t need them. He then suggested the two of you take the route through the park on the way home, since it was a nice day. Much to your surprise, he insisted on stopping at several spots along the way to take pictures of you and him together, because he remembered you mentioning how you wished you had more pictures together. He even played it up a bit, making silly faces and heart shapes with you.

You picked up lunch from your favorite cafe on the way home, which you set up in the living room and ate as you watched one of your favorite shows, leaning into his side as you made jokes about the plot together.

Afterwards, as you were cuddled up on the couch together, he suddenly moved to detangle himself from you.

“And now, for my next trick.” He said with a grin.

“What do you mean?” You asked with a raised brow.

“Just wait here, okay?” He asked, ducking back into the kitchen without further explanation.

He was only gone a minute or so before you heard a quiet sound, looking up to see him walking back out holding a cake with a single candle lit on it.

“I’m not gonna sing the song, unless you really want me to,” He said quietly, carefully setting the cake on the coffee table in front of you. “But happy birthday.”

“You don’t have to sing.” You said with a soft expression, smiling up at him for a moment before blowing the candle out.

“Yayy.” He gave a tiny round of applause, making you laugh.

Rather than moving to cut the cake though, he then handed you a small gift bag that you recognize from one of the designer jewelry stores in town.

You looked up at him questioningly, but he just shrugged.

“Happy birthday.” He said again simply, giving you a small sheepish smile.

You eyed him curiously, pulling out a small velvet box and opening it with a quiet gasp, revealing a beautiful silver necklace, the pendant bearing your favorite gemstone.

“Do you like it?” He asked softly, watching you with a tender expression.

You nodded, blinking back a few tears. “It’s beautiful… I love it.”

You quickly sat up, hugging him tightly for a moment before turning around.

“Put it on me, please.” You said, brushing your hair out of the way for him.

He carefully removed the necklace from the box, gently placing it around your neck and fastening it into place. You beamed at him before glancing down at the tiny charm, tracing your fingers over it.

“It’s soo pretty.” You said quietly.

“Yeah, it is…” He agreed quietly, not even looking at the necklace, eyes focused on your face and the way your eyes lit up in happiness at his gesture.

You looked up and caught his expression, flushing slightly.

“Yah, don’t look at me like that.” You swatted his arm lightly.

“Like what?” He chuckled, blocking your swing easily.

“Like I’m the best thing you’ve ever seen.”

“You are though...” He said with such quiet sincerity that it made your heart ache slightly.

He leaned in, cradling your face gently as he continued, his dark eyes staring into your soul. “You are without a doubt the best damn thing I’ve ever seen. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and I love you…”

“I love you too…” You swallowed, blinking hard as you were hit with an intense wave of emotions.

You leaned in, closing the gap between the two of you and connecting your lips in a soft, slow kiss, the feel of his arms wrapping tenderly around you making everything else fade away for a moment.

He drew back slowly, almost reluctantly, staring at you with such a soft look of love and adoration it made your heart ache.

“Did you have a nice day?” He asked softly, brushing his nose against yours as he spoke.

“It was wonderful, you’re wonderful…” You nodded, pressing forward again and claiming his mouth with more intensity this time, winding your arms around his neck and tangling your fingers in his hair, earning a soft sound of approval from him.

He returned your kiss with enthusiasm, tipping you back on the sofa, holding onto your hips tightly as he deepened the kiss, delving into your mouth with a pleased hum that reverberated in your chest.

It occured to you how, funnily enough, you were almost in this exact same position last year, but this time there was no remorse or regret, no tear flavored kisses. There was just you and him and the connection between the two of you that burned like a hearth in the middle of winter, comforting and warm and holding a profound sense of home.

Eventually the two of you broke apart for air, feeling slightly dazed but so unbelievably content.

“Happy Birthday, Y/n...” He murmured against your skin.

“It really has been…” You mumbled back. “The best.”

yes of course!! once it's finished (which, it seems like will only happen at the end of this year) i'm gonna compile it and put it up for sale with the option of either purchasing a digital pdf or a physical book. The latter option will obviously be the more expensive option.

Hello everybody! Surprised to see me post something not Seabird related? Well sometimes drawing the same things over and over again gets a little tiring, so to clear my head (and to remind myself to draw legs once in while) I’d tried to draw other owl house stuff. During this break times I’d actually end up drawing other owl house creators Au’s, and I decided to clean up these drawings together and compile them into one big illustration. Think of this post as a sorta tribute to creators that inspire me. And don’t worry, Seabird part 3 will still come out Monday.

First up, the Monster high AU by @dazeddoodles

As the title suggests, it’s an AU that combines the G1 Monster high with the Owl house series. I was a huge Monster High fan when I was younger, so this AU was a real treat. I’m really sad they decided to discontinue it, as I think this AU is really cute. I love the designs too, Raine is my favorite. I kinda just wanted to draw some cute interactions, a young Eda and Raine interacting, Gus and Willow giving Hunter “a hand’ and Amity flirting with Luz (in her own way). Drawing this AU was a lot of fun and did inspire me to rewatch some of the old Monster high specials.

Pittwins AU by @nikolutke

This AU is much darker. The idea of the story is what if Hunter and Luz weren’t resurrected at the end of the series and wandered around the Boiling Isles as ghosts. I love Nikolutke designs for Ghost Luz and Hunter, they’re both haunting and really sad. Plus the idea exploring the Owl house characters reactions towards the death of a love one is really fascinating concept. I kinda explored that idea with these drawings, in this case Eda and Darius reactions. I feel like Eda would be out of her mind with grief, as she was forced to watch Luz’s death first hand. I think she’d feel a lot of guilt too, thinking she failed to protect Luz. I also wonder if Kings Titans powers allows him to see the dead, could be possible. As for the other illustration, I think Darius would probably isolated himself and grieve quietly, contemplating what he could of done differently, and if he could have saved Hunter in time.

The Gilded Cage by @catboymoments

I’ve been fan of both their next gen au and this one, but I decided to post one about the Gilded age au. The basic idea of this AU is the classic “What if Belos found Luz instead of Eda” concept. A lot of these AUs tend to go the route of “Luz becomes Belos 2.0” as someone who loves Luz, I’m sad people just think she’d just instantly become a villain if left unguided. I’m really that this AU went into a different direction and actual kept Luz’s personality and made Luz someone who’s trying to help the Isles and wants to protect her friends from Belos wrath. The one on the left is Lilith and Luz interacting, I like to think Lilith sees a lot of Eda in Luz, and makes her think of the good times before everything got complicated. The one on the right is Luz and Hunter, with the former trying to convince the latter to question Belos control. I love in this AU that despite Belos attempts to put the, against each other, they still have each others back no matter what! Their siblings no matter what universe they’re in!

And of course the classic (pun intended) The Mythology AU by @turquoisespace35

This AU is Huntlow story set in Greek mythology. Hunter in this AU is the half human-gorgon offspring of the human Caleb and gorgon Evelyn. Willow is sent to his location to kill him but (of course) they fall in love instead. The story has a lot of twists and turns, so I suggest you check it out if you haven’t already. The left drawing is Caleb and Evelyn interacting together. I don’t know if this work but I like to think the two were able to somewhat interact with each other by Caleb looking through mirror. I of course had to draw the love birds Hunter and Willow interacting together. The one on the top right is a little bit of a spoiler but I decided to draw Lilith and Edalyns in their goddess forms, I love that Lilith plays the role of Athena and acts a caretaker to Hunter. I drew her getting a little emotional about Hunter finally being free, as any cool Aunt should.

And to those who are just hear to see the Seabird AU, here’s a preview drawing of part 3 of chapter 10. I don’t think Edas really enjoying this part though lol.

Anyway, hope you guys this more unusual post, I just wanted to draw something a little different this time and pay tribute to some of the artists that have inspired me.
