Storyspin Part 2

Asriel is Napstablook's role and likes to garden. Instead of a snail farm he has a garden of Floweys (tho a bit friendlier). His outfit is inspired by Ralsei as well as Chakri from my Deltarune Chapter Rewritten take. He mixes Flowey and Asriels personalities. Being friendly and welcoming like Asriel but also a bit snarky and pessimistic like Flowey. His fight uses red soul and he uses fire magic and some plant magic. To spare him you have to play with him until he tires out

Chara takes Mettatons role. They were killed after accidentally consuming buttercups but their soul persisted and was placed in a robot body resembling a human. They star as a horror movie monster in anti-human propaganda movies while also referencing how many people view Chara as evil. But it's all an act and they're real friendly and like to garden. They use red soul in battle and attack with weapons and minor plant magic. To spare them disable all their weapons

Alphys takes Asgore's role. She became the queen of monsters and captured human souls to experiment with them. She imbued herself with small doses of determination to make her stronger and partially amalgamate. She just wants everyone to be happy. Her weapon is a Gaster Blaster staff (like my storyshift) but one that resembles the determination extractor machine and shoots red attacks which will change your soul mode while also poisoning you. Kinda like Sans karma but will last the whole attack but stop once the attack ends. It's as if you get an overdose of determination. She uses yellow soul but her red attack will switch it back to red for the duration of the attack

And now the two skeletons that started all this..... The event that set storyspin into motion. Sans and Papyrus were two skeletons and the sons of Dr. Gaster but they were attacked by an evil Human. Sans was killed due to his low HP and papyrus was fatally wounded. Gaster managed to transfer his soul into a dog body but he remained in a coma for years until he was awoken by Napstablook after they took over as royal scientist. Undyne retired as head of the Royal Guard after this tragedy and went to the Ruins where she made peace with the next fallen human and swore to never let another human harm anyone but to also never harm a human as violence breeds violence. Asgore and Toriel would retire as the king and queen and hide out in Hometown with both striving to fight for peace between humans and monsters. Alphys was left to take over as queen and tried to help the humans but after finding research left behind by gaster on their powers began secretly killing them to experiment on their souls. She hid this from everyone even Undyne because this was her duty and her duty alone. The underground is split between anti-human and peace between the two races and the players choices will decide the future of humans and monsters.

Papyrus takes Asriels role and after gaining the souls and becoming his true form he becomes a god. His outfit is modeled after skeletors. Hed use blue soul and bone magic+gaster blasters. Fight him until he tires and allows you to save his soul. He also will still have the gimmick of stopping the fight when you're at low HP and would reset the fight. His "kid" form has him wear his cool dude shirt striped to look like Claus's shirt from Earthbound. He appears as a kid but when he died he was his age in Undertale he just appears this way to look more friendly to frisk

Sans takes Chara's role and watches your journey and will judge you after every ending. He has two shirts. A skull and crossbones one for any route but in pacifist his shirt resembles Lucas's from Earthbound

The mentor marrying his final girl was canon?! Yippie!!

I was a bit focused on other stuff so I missed a few scenes and tidbits, I assumed as much but left it as a headcannon since I wasn’t 100% certain.

And the cider crusher! Taylor had no clue about it or how to utilize it until Leslie led her to it and said there’s be some crushing done that night. In his detailed plan, none of the high schoolers were to be killed by it!

Yeah!! At least I think that was the implication, I can't remember them outright saying it but I remember the mentor giving advice like "if you're ever targeted by a killer just make sure you can outrun a slower victim" or something, and his wife is like "haha, oh yeah, I sure was fast wasn't I, honey?", which I assume to mean she had a reason to run from him during his killing spree back in the day.

And, and, and!! Can we mention how much Leslie is always up in Taylor's space? I mean obviously, she's the journalist, it makes sense that she's the closest to him for interviews and such. But he's always hugging her, holding doors for her, having her sit next to him in the car or at his mentor's place or while he's putting on his makeup for the big night.

Even when he got mad at her and grabbed her by the arm and pinned her throat, he only sternly said "please don't ruin this for me." Please. Like yeah, it had murderous undertones, but it was still so polite and a threat like "fuck up again and I'll remove your spinal cord" wasn't even tacked on to the end...and then again, he gave her and the crew another chance to back out of this whole gig!! Because he could tell she was getting upset!! And part of me feels like he wasn't necessarily mad that she was trying to warn the fake-out final girl, I think he was upset because it would have risked ruining the surprise that ta-da! you're my final girl, Taylor!! (: that he was actually pulling.

He's just so polite and chivalrous with her (well...as much as a deranged slasher can be, I supposed), all while knowing he was meant to go after her and that she would "kill" him, and all the way until his head was cracked. Like, he still could have stalked her and picked off her crewmates and gotten her as his final girl instead, but he chose to befriend her and ensure she'd have the easiest time surviving every single trick that would have slowed her down otherwise.

Summary: Max remembers how he came to own his motorcycle

The first time he saw her was in the junkyard.

At the time he was in a real bad place. Working a car crusher at minimum wage and barely enough to make a living, all he did was destroy cars and get drunk to forget who he was, what he was.

What had happened to him basically ruined his life. Plain and simple. The full moon’s tyrannical hold on him dominated his mind. Terror and shame kept him in chains, no one to run to. Those were dark days, and he felt thankful he barely remembered most of them.

(Some nights he didn’t know what was keeping him here. Down in a hole with no way out. Would anyone even miss him? He knew they wouldn’t…)

The one good time he had, the light in the darkness, was her. And it was her that saved him in the end.

The memory is vivid; it still feels fresh. Because it was raining heavily that day, and he was painfully sober. Still on the job. Crushing car after car. A monotonous, soul-destroying task. The kind that wreaks havoc on the mind, when you realise it’ll never end.

But then, in the midst of all the scrap metal, he came across this old vintage Harley Davidson. She was just sitting there abandoned in a filthy old pile of junk. All beaten up and broken down, just like him.

Max just wondered who in their right mind would throw out a beauty like that. Even in a state of disrepair, she was a majestic beast. Still had a nice coat of paint on and everything, (although back then it was orange) but someone had decided she had no value anymore. Something about that struck him as profoundly sad.

For some reason he got the idea in his head to take her in, save her from himself. He just couldn’t let her get crushed to oblivion with all the rest of em,’ so against all common sense Max brought her back home with him.

Maybe he was crazy to think he’d be able to afford her, but once he weaned himself off the nightly booze he found himself able to put all his funds into her repairs. He did those himself, too; memories of his childhood flooding back. Better times, when things weren’t so desolate, when he still believed people loved him.

It took a while, it really did. Time, patience, and effort. It wasn’t easy, but he got into a routine after a while. By day he destroyed, and by night he repaired. Max nursed her back to health, little by little, until she was well again.

The joy he felt when he finally got her engine running again was euphoric, it made his heart soar. That was the first time he’d felt happy; really, truly happy in a long time. She was back on the road, as ferocious a tigress as she ever was. He revved her up, and she roared like a lion.

At some point he’d found himself healing alongside her. Not completely; he’d never really get his old self back again. But with this achievement Max found the strength to actually hope for something better. To look forward, rather than down.

He quit his job. He hated it, anyway. He hated the town he was living in, too. He needed to get away, run free by himself. Up North, just anywhere out of that place.

His new Harley Davidson was a life saver, in the end. She ended up carrying him right out of that shithole he was living in and where he met Jack. And then Jack looked him in the eye and told him he wasn’t beyond saving, like he’d thought. He wasn’t a lost cause.

That realisation was a heavy one. He felt lost, really lost. He needed guidance to help properly navigate his situation. After years of clinging to a life raft, believing he was lost at sea, it was easy to feel like he’d be swallowed whole by the waves. Jack provided a bigger ship to take shelter on while he repaired his own.

In Downings he went from destroying cars to fixing them up. He had a real talent for it. And a real passion. No matter how beat up something came in, he wanted to do his best to get it back into shape again. It was always immensely satisfying to feel the success of his work. A reminder that nothing is unsalvageable.

Sometimes he still has bad days. His thoughts are nebulous, it’s difficult to stomach when all he can see is a monster in the mirror. Harder still when the moon’s eerie glow casts its light on him, and he loses all control. Against his will, he must obey its call.

On those days, or nights, he turns back to his trusty Harley Davidson. He goes out for a drive, lets the wind blow away his worries for a while. And sometimes, sometimes things are alright.

Fun D&D Builds 5: The Mighty Insect

Wanna make more than one/two attacks per turn when using a heavy weapon? I gotcha.

What you’ll Need:

The Thri-Kreen

Fighter Class

Brute/Cavalier/Echo Knight Subclass

Fighting initiate feat

Crusher/Piercer/Slasher Feat

How it works:

Thri-Kreen (Ants that are way bigger and have developed some minor psychic abilities) have two sets of arms, one allows you to use any type of weapon (if you’re proficient) and the other can hold a light weapon. So you can hold a great-axe/sword, pike or maul AND use a light weapon to make an off-hand attack.

Next you’ll want to pick the Fighter class (any other martial class will work too, but fighters get more ability score improvements)

You’ll want to grab either the two-weapon fighting or Great weapon fighting fighting style options. Doesn’t matter which one you pick first as you can grab the second thanks to the fighting initiate feat later on.

At higher levels you’ll also want to pick the heavy weapon master feat and either the slasher/piercer/crusher feat (depending on what weapon you’re using)

Next, is subclasses, for this one you can choose:

Unearthed Arcana’s Brute - Every time you hit an enemy you can deal an additional damage die equal shown on the Brute’s table (1d4 at level 3) this isn’t once per turn this is EVERY attack.

Echo Knight - You can summon an echo of yourself to do some terrain control to lock down your opponents. You can also make an additional attack once per turn a number of times equal to your constitution modifier, so two attacks with a heavy weapon and one off hand (at level 3)

Cavalier - When you hit an enemy it has disadvantage on attack rolls against other creatures except for you, while it it within 5ft of you. If it does damage another creature then you can make a heavy weapon attack as a bonus action with additional damage, but you can only use this a number of times equal to your strength modifier.

And that it! Just attack, action surge and attack again!

Obviously there are benefits to other martial classes and Thri-kreen but this one makes the build more consistent and you can max out an ability while also getting extra feats!
