Dancing Lights, a cantrip evocation spell, Depending on the version selected, you create up to four lights that resemble lanterns or torches (and cast that amount of light), or up to four glowing spheres of light (which look like will-o’-wisps), or one faintly glowing, vaguely humanoid shape. The dancing lights must stay within a 10-foot-radius area in relation to each other but otherwise move as you desire (no concentration required): forward or back, up or down, straight or turning corners, or the like. The lights can move up to 100 feet per round. A light winks out if the distance between you and it exceeds the spell’s range. You can only have one dancing lights spell active at any one time. If you cast this spell while another casting is still in effect, the previous casting is dispelled. If you make this spell permanent, it does not count against this limit. ~14/10/2022~ Still in feel like I’ve been hit by a truck mode, but was grateful for a slower start again. Put two washes on and had got dressed by the time H arrived - we had a bit of a different type of day planned - we went to this equestrian store to collect some straw bales for H’s daughter’s party at the weekend. As someone who used to look after horses I enjoyed having an excuse to look round that type of store. We dropped that straw bales home, then collected H’s dogs to go get their teeth clean - it was the first time I’d met her dogs, but they were pretty cool and friendly, if quite smelly on the way there - one took a liking to licking my ear in the car on the way there! We took them to this grooming parlour I didn’t even know existed - it had a coffee shop attached to it, which actually could be quite a good place for me to work from. We had a drink and some cake while we waited for the dogs to come out. The car ride home was so much less smelly on the way home, so they had definitely done a good job. I then started to feel quite unwell - borderline temperature and bad nausea - it’s really hard to untangle atm. I had a governor’s related meeting which I managed okay despite feeling not entirely human. I then did some adminny bits while I was at my laptop. Went to the high street briefly as needed some essentials and hadn’t had much of a walk today, but felt really unwell and dizzy, so ended up getting the bus home. Was pretty wiped out for the rest of the day. Bella managed to slash a hole through the middle of the piece of art I started on for my grandma’s 80th birthday when pretending to be a ninja, so that was fun! L came in the evening to make up for the shift she missed last night, which made a nice change. ~12/10/2022~ Was a better day than yesterday even though it felt as though a truck had hit me - turned off my uni email notifications to try to park the issue, which definitely helped, but it’s made me realise just how toxic and triggering the whole thing is and that I need to rid myself of it all asap :/ I hate waking up having no idea how I’m going to be able to get through the day - I had supervision then mentoring, so talked about it then and how perhaps my workload needs to be adjusted following covid - have taken a couple of steps which I hope will make the next couple of weeks a bit easier. It was one of those days where in the background I got various calls all at once about home/life stuff - there was an issue with where my rent is being paid to, which I sorted in the evening; a note taking service phoned me for uni - had to explain to them that there is no further need for a notetaker this year; Beacon House called saying they’ve found a suitable therapist for us and should be starting therapy with them second week of November :) I was quite relieved my f2f appointment wanted to switch to phone call - even though I hate speaking over the phone. Despite feeling practically unalive with fatigue I somehow managed to get everything ticked off my work to do list. Had a meeting in the afternoon about the staff well-being service which was actually quite constructive. I managed to get everything done to finish work at 5:30 pm which is better than other days. Felt better mentally than I did first thing.
