You had an argument, and in the heat of the moment, you took on a secret mission—disappearing without a trace or warning for six days. He won’t let that slide, will he?
(⚠️ Warning: Slightly angsty and dramatic) 🔥 UPD: Guys, I hear you loud and clear about Xavier, and I'm already working on his full story. Let me know if you want more about the others (or any specific one).
🖐️💥😈 Sylus
You don’t even make it home.
One second—you’re stepping toward your door. The next—you're grabbed.
A sharp yelp leaves your lips, but it’s already too late.
One hand clamps down on your shoulder, the other hooks around your legs, and suddenly—you're airborne.
"Cargo secured."
A second voice. Muffled. Hollow.
You twist wildly.
Two figures in black masks, sharp beaked visors, curved horns on their hoods.
Luke and Kieran.
You thrash. “Put me down—”
"No can do, Miss," Kieran hums, flipping you upside down just slightly.
"Our Boss gave very strict orders," Luke murmurs.
Your stomach sinks. The car door swings open—
And you’re shoved inside.
Kieran and Luke plop down beside you, silent as shadows.
Then—
Luke sighs. Long and exaggerated.
"Such a shame," he muses. "She was so pretty."
Kieran hums. "So full of life."
Your eyes narrow. “What.”
They tilt their heads in unison. Luke’s fingers drum against the seat.
"He was so worried."
Kieran exhales. "On the first day, he simply waited."
Luke nods. "Second day, he sent people out. Checked hospitals. Crime scenes."
Kieran’s head tilts. "By day three… well, we all knew something had to bleed."
Your stomach drops.
Luke stretches, relaxed. "Four syndicates fell in one night. Just in case one of them had you."
Kieran sighs. "On the fourth day, he realized that wasn’t enough."
Luke hums. "So he started getting creative."
Your breath hitches. "Creative?"
Kieran taps his chin. "That warehouse in N109 Zone? The one that burned to the ground?"
Luke leans closer. "Day five. Still no sign of you. He collapsed an entire district."
Kieran shrugs. "Nothing personal. Just a message."
Luke tilts his head. "And then day six came."
A beat of silence.
Kieran chuckles. "You know, Miss… If you hadn’t shown up today, N109 Zone would’ve been repainted in blood by sundown."
Luke sighs dreamily. "It still might be."
Your blood turns to ice.
And then—Luke’s head tilts toward you.
"Now…?"
Kieran completes it, a beat later.
"Now he has you."
The car slows. Your chest tightens. And then—you realize where you are.
N109 Zone. His estate.
The car door swings open—
And you’re hauled out like luggage.
"Handle with care," Luke hums.
“I am handling with care," Kieran murmurs.
They carry you inside. Set you down with eerie gentleness. Smooth out your jacket. Brush imaginary dust off your shoulders.
Then—they step back. Bow, deep and slow.
“Welcome home, Miss.”
And then—they’re gone.
You whirl after them. “HEY—”
A quiet sound.
Fabric rustling. A slow, deliberate exhale.
You freeze.
And then—you turn.
Sylus is standing across the room. Calm. Collected. Expression unreadable.
But his eyes. They burn.
You swallow.
“What the fuck was that?” you snap, motioning toward the door.
Silence.
He just… watches you.
Then—slowly, smoothly—
He shrugs off his jacket. Lets it fall onto the chair. His fingers move to his cuffs. Undoing them.
One. Then the other.
Rolling his sleeves up, inch by inch.
Your stomach twists.
“Sylus.”
He doesn’t answer. His hands move to his belt. He unbuckles it. Pulls it free.
And you—
You fucking run.
You BOLT.
Straight toward the door. It’s locked.
You curse.
Behind you—he clicks his tongue.
“Oh, Kitten,” he murmurs, voice low, almost amused.
You spin, darting behind the desk. He follows. Casually. Slowly.
“You disappear for six days,” he murmurs, voice smooth, mocking, deadly.
You sidestep. He matches you.
“You ignore my calls.”
You swerve left. He steps right.
“I tear this city apart looking for you.”
You dodge back. He adjusts effortlessly.
“And now,” he exhales, tilting his head, smirking lazily, “you’re running.”
You hurl a stapler at him. He catches it. Drops it. Sighs.
Then—his patience snaps.
A sharp pulse of red energy explodes outward. The desk flips. The chairs crash against the wall.
And suddenly—
You are out of places to run. Before you can move—
He has you.
A sharp yelp rips from your throat as he grabs you, spins, and drops into his chair—
Bringing you down over his lap.
Your breath catches. “Sylus—”
"Ah, ah, ah.”
His palm glides down your back. Teasing. Amused. Smug.
"You made a very poor choice, Kitten."
Your heart pounds. His fingers hook into your waistband. And in one sharp motion—
He pulls your pants down.
Your entire body jolts. “Wait—”
The first smack lands. Sharp. Stinging.
You jerk violently.
Then—the second.
Then—the third.
“Sylus—you absolute bastard!”
A low chuckle vibrates through his chest.
“Six days, Sweetie.”
Another smack.
“You think you get away with that?”
You snarl, thrashing. “You—I’ll kill you!”
"Oh?" His hand presses against your lower back, keeping you pinned.
Then—lower now, smooth as silk, dripping with mockery—
“You sure you can handle that right now?”
You growl.
And then—
You bite him. Hard. Right on the thigh.
His breath hitches. Then—a slow, dangerous laugh.
He grabs you. Turns you over, setting you between his legs, hands gripping your chin—forcing you to look at him.
And then—
You see it. The rage is gone.
And in its place—
Something raw. Something wrecked. Like he’s aged years in just six days.
His voice—when it comes—is low. Hoarse. Unsteady.
“…I thought Ever carved you up for spare parts.”
Your stomach drops.
"You really think," his fingers twitch against your skin, "I was just waiting?"
His eyes flick over your face, scanning, memorizing. And then—softer now, almost broken—
"If you hadn’t come back tomorrow, I would’ve wiped them off the face of the earth."
Your eyes sting. Your hands reach for him, trembling.
You slide forward, onto his lap.
His breath stutters.
And then—you kiss him. Hard. Desperate. Unyielding.
He shudders.
Then—his hands clench around your waist, crushing you to him. When he pulls back—forehead pressed against yours, breath uneven—
“…Next time you disappear,” he murmurs, lips brushing your cheek, voice shaking with something terrifyingly real, “I’m not looking for you.”
Your heart cracks. You shake your head. You cup his face. Hold him there.
“…You won’t have to.”
Silence.
Then—
His grip tightens. And just like that—
He is never letting you go again.
❄️🩸💔 Zayne
You already know where he is.
Zayne isn’t home. Of course, he isn’t.
So you do the only thing that makes sense—you head straight for Akso Hospital.
By the time you step through the pristine glass doors, you’re already talking.
“I know how this looks, but I can explain—”
And then—you see him.
Standing near the nurses’ station, uniform crisp, posture rigid, hands tucked into the pockets of his coat like he’s carved from ice.
For a second—just a second—his breath catches.
But then—
A switch flips. His entire presence shifts.
Cold. Professional. Untouchable.
His eyes meet yours. And he says nothing.
No relief. No anger. Nothing.
Just pure, hollow emptiness.
You swallow hard. Force yourself to continue.
“Zayne—”
“You need medical attention.”
His voice is calm. Impersonal. A doctor speaking to a patient. Not the man you know.
Your stomach twists.
He doesn’t ask where you’ve been. Doesn’t ask why you disappeared. Instead—he starts listing symptoms.
“You’re pale. Have you lost blood?”
You inhale sharply. “Zay—”
“Concussion?”
“No—”
“Fever? Infection?”
His eyes flick to your scraped knuckles, the dried blood on your sleeve.
And you realize—
He’s not angry. He’s protecting himself. He’s shutting down. Like he already convinced himself you weren’t coming back. Like he already mourned you.
And something inside you breaks.
Your legs wobble.
You sway—
And then—
You collapse.
The reaction is instantaneous.
A sharp inhale. A rush of movement. A sudden, firm grip catching you before you hit the ground.
Zayne’s arms lock around you. One around your back, one under your legs, holding you effortlessly. His breathing is uneven. His fingers tremble against your skin.
“Hey—!” His voice is no longer detached. It’s urgent. Terrified.
He tilts your face up, eyes scanning for injuries, pupils blown wide with panic.
"You—" His breath shudders. “Shit, you're—”
But you don’t answer. Because you keep your eyes closed. Because you know exactly what you’re doing.
And for a moment, it works. For a moment, he’s yours again. For a moment, his walls are completely, irreparably shattered.
Then—
His steps slow. His breathing evens.
And suddenly—
He stops. And you feel it. That one single, damning second of realization.
Your eyes are closed, but you can hear it. The sharp, cold click in his mind as he figures it out.
His arms loosen. Too loose. Too fast.
And suddenly—you're falling.
You gasp sharply, hands instinctively grabbing at him—
But he catches you at the last second, lowering you onto the cold, sterile floor of his office with just enough control to keep you from truly getting hurt.
But barely.
His jaw is tight. His nostrils flare. His hands press into his thighs like he’s physically holding himself back from losing control.
Then—flat, quiet, lethal—
“You lied.”
Your stomach drops. You open your mouth—and then you feel it.
A sharp, aching throb in your knee. It hits all at once—the pain, the exhaustion, the weight of everything that happened.
Your throat tightens.
And then—before you can stop it—
Tears prick at your eyes.
Your voice comes out small, weak, broken.
“Zayne… my leg hurts.”
Everything stops. The air in the room shifts.
And suddenly—
The rage is gone. His walls crumble.
His gaze snaps to your knee—swollen, bruised, torn fabric revealing skin already darkening with a deep, painful contusion.
And just like that—he’s on his knees. The doctor in him takes over.
His hands tremble as they press to your leg, fingertips ghosting over the bruised flesh like it physically pains him to touch.
He leans down. And presses a soft, lingering kiss to the bruised skin.
Your breath catches.
His forehead presses gently against your knee. And then—a whisper, barely audible, like he’s afraid of his own voice.
“…I lost you.”
Your heart cracks wide open.
He inhales sharply, his fingers tightening against your leg, like he’s still trying to convince himself you’re real.
You slide off the chair. Sink onto the cold, sterile floor. Your hands come up, cup his face.
His breath stutters.
You press your forehead to his.
Hot. Unwavering. Eternal.
“Only death could take me from you.”
His eyes squeeze shut. And when they open again—
There’s nothing left but raw, agonizing devotion.
Then—
His hands reach for you. And this time, he doesn’t let go.
🪑🍎🎖️ Caleb
The door clicks shut behind you.
Something feels wrong. The air is too still. Too perfectly controlled.
And then—you see it.
The chair.
Placed dead center in the room.
The apartment is spotless. Too spotless. Like someone scrubbed it raw, wiped away every trace of warmth, every sign of life.
Your stomach tightens. And then—a voice.
Cold. Measured. Absolute.
"Sit down."
You turn sharply—
And there he is.
Colonel Caleb. Not your Caleb.
Not the man who kisses your forehead every morning. Not the man who makes you breakfast even when he’s running on two hours of sleep.
No.
This is the soldier. The commander. The man who could level entire cities with a single order.
And you are his captive.
Your jaw tightens. “Caleb, what the hell—”
"Sit. Down."
Your spine stiffens. “No.”
A flick of his fingers. The chair scrapes forward, slamming into the back of your knees.
You stumble, cursing—
But before you can react—a force clamps around you. G-forces shift. Gravity bends. The chair drags you back to the center of the room.
Then—weight locks around your limbs. You can’t stand. Can’t move. Your pulse spikes.
His face is unreadable. His eyes—stormy, dark, endless.
Like he hasn’t slept in six days.
A tablet activates in his hand.
Several floating screens appear around you, flickering with surveillance footage.
And then—his interrogation begins.
His voice is calm. Clinical. Devoid of warmth.
"In the hours before your disappearance, this man entered your building. Do you know him?"
You blink. “What—?”
He gestures at the screen. A blurry security cam shot.
You squint. “That’s—a fucking courier.”
"Interesting."
A swipe of his fingers. Another screen appears.
"You placed an order at a bookstore six days ago. Three books were delivered. For what purpose?"
You stare. “...For reading?”
His brows twitch.
"Curious. You spoke to the courier for over five minutes. What was discussed?"
Your hands clench into fists. “How the hell would I know?”
A beat of silence.
Then—softer now, dangerous in its evenness—
"You really expect me to believe you don’t remember?"
Your blood boils. “Are you seriously doing this right now?”
He swipes again. More footage. More records. More evidence that means nothing.
And you snap.
"You are losing your fucking mind."
His jaw tightens.
And then—
The gravity releases.
You lurch forward, finally able to move—
But before you can get up—
he’s already there.
A single step. One hand gripping the back of your chair, tilting it back—
His face is inches from yours. His gaze burns.
"Are you fucking someone else?"
Your breath catches. Your pulse thunders in your ears.
And then—
You laugh.
Sharp. Bitter. Furious.
You gesture at yourself—the dirt, the bruises, the blood still crusted on your sleeve.
“Look at me, Caleb.”
He doesn’t move.
“Does this look like a woman having an affair?”
His fingers twitch against the chair. His voice drops to a whisper.
"I’m on the edge of it."
Your chest tightens.
“I don’t doubt that, you psychopath.” You shove against his arm, but he doesn’t budge. “Now let me up so I can strangle you.”
His fingers loosen.
And then—
"Six days."
Your breath hitches. His hand moves. Curls around your jaw, firm but careful.
"Six days. Eight thousand six hundred forty minutes."
His thumb brushes over your cheekbone.
"I couldn't breathe without pain."
Your throat tightens. Your rage collapses into something else entirely.
“Caleb—”
"I searched. I traced every lead. I turned this country inside out."
His voice wavers.
And then—softer, rawer, almost desperate—
"If you hadn’t come back, I would have burned everything to the ground."
Your chest aches.
“…I had a mission. It was classified.”
His jaw twitches.
"Then tell me—" His voice turns sharp, edged with something almost pleading. "Tell me you weren’t running."
You exhale shakily.
“You’re so obsessed with losing me, Caleb—maybe that’s why you always do.”
Silence.
Something in his face breaks. He straightens. Turns away.
Leaves.
The door slams.
And you collapse to your knees. Your hands come up—cover your face—
And finally, finally, the tears fall.
But then—
A soft creak. A shift in the air. Warmth.
Arms wrapping around you, pulling you into a crushing embrace.
You freeze.
His voice is hoarse, quiet, trembling with something raw.
"You’re the only one who can destroy me without lifting a hand."
Your breath shudders. His grip tightens.
"One word from you," he murmurs, "and I’m gone."
You shake your head.
“Caleb…”
His forehead presses against your shoulder.
"I tried. Every day. Every second. I tried not to hold on too tight." He exhales shakily. "But I can’t."
Your heart clenches.
“Caleb, I always come back.”
He flinches.
You pull back just enough to cup his face. His eyes are stormy, desperate, flickering with pain.
"You have to trust me."
His lips part, but no sound comes out.
Then—barely above a whisper—
"I can't lose you."
Your fingers tighten against his jaw.
"You won’t."
Silence.
Then—
He kisses you.
It’s not gentle. It’s desperate. Devouring. Starved.
His hands tangle in your hair, holding you to him like he’ll die if you pull away.
A single tear escapes down his cheek. And you catch it with your lips.
“…I’m sorry,” you whisper. “Caleb, I’m so sorry.”
His breath shudders. He shakes his head.
“No.” His voice breaks. "You don’t apologize to me."
Your brows furrow. “Caleb—”
He swallows.
"If you’re better off without me—"
Your hand flies up, slaps over his mouth. He freezes. Tears well in your eyes.
“Don’t. Say. That.” His chest rises sharply. You lean in, press your forehead to his.
“…You are my universe,” you whisper.
His hands shake against your back.
“No matter what we do, no matter what happens—” You press your lips to his, slow, deep, endless. “I will always come back to you.”
His breath shudders against your lips.
And then—his voice drops, quiet but unshakable.
"You will never disappear on me again without warning. Not now. Not ever."
🗡✨🌥 Xavier
The door clicks shut behind you.
You barely take a step inside before a voice cuts through the air—
Calm. Measured. Unshakable.
"Ah." A quiet exhale. "Look who finally remembered they have a home."
You freeze.
Xavier is already there.
Sitting in the living room, one leg crossed over the other, a book balanced in his hand—like your sudden reappearance was nothing more than an interesting plot twist.
He doesn’t look up immediately. He finishes the sentence he’s reading first.
Then—calmly, unhurriedly—he turns the page.
And finally—his gaze lifts to yours.
Cold. Slow. Too calculating.
"Six days."
Your stomach tightens. "Xav—"
"Mm. No." He holds up a single finger.
The room falls silent. And somehow, that’s worse.
You watch as he closes the book. Carefully. Precisely. Then—without breaking eye contact—he sets it aside.
And then—a small smile.
Soft. Almost friendly.
Which means you’re in deep, deep trouble.
"You look tired," he murmurs, tilting his head. "Traveling, were you?"
You exhale. "Xavier—"
"Oh, no. Let me guess." His fingers tap idly against the armrest. "You were simply busy."
A pause.
"Too busy, in fact, to answer a single message."
Your jaw tightens. "It wasn’t—"
"Ah," he interrupts softly, as if realizing something.
His eyes flick over your torn sleeve, the faint bruises on your arms. Then, slowly—he smiles.
"Or," he murmurs, "did you lose your phone again?"
Your stomach drops. Because he knows.
You inhale sharply. "Xav—"
He shakes his head.
"No, it’s alright. I understand." He leans forward slightly, resting his chin against his knuckles. "I’m sure you had an excellent reason."
A beat of silence. Then—mild amusement, carefully laced with steel:
"Would you like to tell me what it was?"
You hesitate.
Because you were on a mission. A classified one.
Because he wasn’t supposed to know. Because you work together.
And yet—he knew nothing.
You try anyway.
"I had a—"
"A mission?" His brow lifts, a polite flicker of curiosity. "Fascinating."
His tone is smooth, unbothered. And that—that is when you know how angry he really is.
He gestures vaguely toward the stacks of reports on the table.
"Tell me, darling, which mission was it?"
You swallow hard. "I can’t—"
"Mm. Right. Classified."
Another small nod. A slow, deliberate blink.
"As are all major operations within the Association."
His fingers drum lightly against the armrest.
"And yet, strangely—" He tilts his head. "Not a single record of your assignment exists."
You say nothing.
Xavier exhales through his nose—almost disappointed.
"And here I thought," he murmurs, "we were supposed to trust each other."
You flinch.
His gaze softens. Not with kindness. But with something far worse.
Pity.
"You must have had your reasons, of course," he muses.
A small sigh, like he’s humoring a child.
"I imagine you thought it was necessary. Sensible, even."
His fingers lace together.
"Just as I found it necessary to send out a search party on day three."
Your breath catches.
"You what?"
He hums.
"By day four, I expanded my resources. You'd be surprised how quickly information spreads when you know where to look."
Your hands clench.
"Xavier—"
"Day five, I began considering alternative outcomes. Some of them, admittedly, rather unpleasant."
A flicker of something colder in his expression.
"Ever been forced to sit in a room full of people trying to convince you that your partner is dead?"
Your stomach turns.
"Xavier, I wasn’t—"
He clicks his tongue.
"Day six, I received word that you had finally resurfaced."
He leans back. Folds his arms. And then—a soft chuckle, utterly humorless.
"Imagine my relief."
Silence.
You exhale sharply. "Xav, I—"
"Did you know," he interrupts, voice light, conversational, detached, "that people tend to avoid looking a grieving man in the eye?"
Your throat tightens.
"Not that I was grieving, of course." He taps a finger against his chin. "I don’t make a habit of mourning people until I see a body."
He tilts his head slightly, studying you.
"But I imagine it must have been quite the inconvenience, being dead for six days."
Your chest tightens.
"You think I wanted to—"
"Oh, I know," he murmurs. "You didn’t want to disappear."
His voice lowers.
"But you still did."
And for the first time—he is no longer smirking. His blue eyes bore into yours, steady, sharp.
"You made a decision that left me in the dark."
A long, slow breath.
"And I need to know," he says softly, "if you would do it again."
Silence.
You don’t have an answer. You don’t think there is one.
He exhales.
Finally, he leans back. Gazes at you for a moment longer.
Then, calmly—he stands. Smooth. Effortless. Precise. And then—he walks past you.
Your heart slams against your ribs.
"Xavier—"
He doesn’t stop. You push to your feet.
"Xavier, you’re coming back, right?"
Finally—he pauses. Turns his head, just slightly.
And then—
"Ask me again in six days."
The door closes behind him. And this time—you’re the one left behind.
🧜🏻♂️🧑🏻🎨🌊 Rafayel
You are exhausted.
Every part of you aches. Your body demands sleep, warmth, peace.
Instead—
You come home to chaos.
Loud music. Laughter. The scent of wine, perfume, candle wax, and indulgence.
And then—the sight of him.
Rafayel.
Lounging near the pool, half-leaning against an ornate chair, a glass of red wine dangling lazily between his fingers.
His shirt is unbuttoned just enough to hint at toned muscle beneath, his sleeves rolled up, his perfectly tousled hair falling over his forehead in an effortlessly careless way.
And surrounding him—beautiful women.
Drinking, laughing, leaning toward him like he’s some fallen deity of temptation and excess.
Your stomach twists. A tight, burning rage coils in your chest.
And then—
He sees you. His eyes widen—just slightly. And then—a slow, almost lazy smirk.
"Ah." He lifts his glass dramatically, tone dripping with sarcasm. "Look who's finally returned!"
You tense.
He rises to his feet, arms spread as if welcoming royalty.
"My muse. My inspiration."
His voice carries over the music, over the murmurs of people starting to notice the tension.
"The very heart of my art!"
A sweeping gesture.
And then—
He motions toward the canvas-lined walls.
Your breath catches. Because they’re all of you. Dozens of paintings.
But—ruined.
Slashes through the canvas.
Paint smeared and splattered over your likeness like an artist in rage, in agony, in heartbreak.
The fury in you erupts. Your voice cuts through the music.
"What the actual fuck is this?!"
He gasps, mock scandalized.
"Oh, you don’t like them? What a tragedy!"
He downs the rest of his wine in one smooth gulp, tossing the glass aside with a careless flick of his wrist.
Then—he grins.
Crooked. Reckless. Infuriating.
"And here I was, drowning in sorrow, channeling my unbearable suffering into art."
A sigh.
"But alas." He shrugs dramatically. "Seems the muse herself has returned."
You march toward him. He tilts his head.
"Careful, cutie. You seem upset."
"You’re a fucking disaster."
He laughs.
"You’re six days late to that realization."
You grab his wrist, yanking him toward the exit.
“We’re talking. Now.”
His body moves, but his feet don’t follow. Instead—he pulls against your grip.
His smile widens.
"Oh?" His voice drips with amusement. "Dragging me away already? Jealous, cutie?"
Your jaw clenches.
"This is pathetic."
Another laugh, lighter this time.
"Ah, but it was all I had!" He places a hand over his heart. Theatrical. Overdramatic. Perfectly insufferable.
You snap.
And shove him into the pool.
He barely has time to react—water crashes around him, drenching his white shirt, dragging him under.
And for a brief, glorious second—silence.
Until—
His hand grabs your wrist. You yelp, but it’s too late.
He pulls you down with him.
Cold water engulfs you, shocking your senses.
When you resurface, gasping, furious, he’s already brushing his hair back, blinking at you through wet lashes.
And suddenly—
The playfulness is gone. The crowd has vanished. Thomas made sure of it.
And now—it’s just you and him.
And for the first time tonight—he’s quiet. His voice is lower, slower.
"You storm into my house. Onto my estate. Into my party. And then..."
He gestures lazily toward the water.
"You throw me in my own fucking pool?"
You pant, teeth gritted. “Your—house? Great! I’ll leave you in your fucking house—”
You turn to climb out—
And he grabs you again. A firm grip. Unshaking.
His eyes—darker now. Sharper. Focused.
"Make another move, cutie." His voice is dangerously low.
"And we’ll have problems."
You glare. "Let. Go."
He doesn’t. Instead—he pulls you closer.
“You’re not walking away from this.”
Your pulse spikes.
"Rafayel—"
"Do it," he whispers. "Say it to my face."
Your breath catches.
"You want to leave?" His hand slides to your waist, pulling you closer, forcing you to feel the heat radiating from his soaked body.
"Then say it."
Your hands shake. You flick water into his face, desperate to break the tension.
He doesn’t even blink. Instead—his eyes drop.
To your clothes.
Soaked. Clinging. Revealing everything.
His pupils darken. And then—his jaw tightens.
"You left me for six days," he murmurs.
Your breath stutters.
"I left for work, not you, you hysterical maniac."
He tilts his head.
"That’s the same thing. And your phone?"
"A Wanderer shattered it!"
He lets out a sharp, bitter laugh.
"Ah, yes. And I suppose you were also too busy fighting for your life to send me one. Single. Fucking. Message?"
You exhale sharply. "Raf, you’re insufferable. A party? Seriously?"
"How else am I supposed to handle soul-crushing heartbreak?"
His voice drops.
"Tell me, cutie." His fingers skim your waist, trailing fire in their wake. "How else was I supposed to drown my suffering?"
He leans in, breath hot against your lips.
And then—
He kisses you. Desperate. Possessive.
Your legs wrap around his waist, instinct taking over.
His grip tightens.
"You threw me in a pool," he whispers against your lips.
"You deserved it."
His fingers dig into your hips.
"You waltz in after six days and just—throw me?"
"Maybe I should throw you again."
He grins against your skin.
"I should make you pay for that."
"Raf—"
"Mm. Shh."
His hands travel lower, pressing you harder against him.
Your breathing turns shallow.
"Your paintings," you murmur.
"I’ll paint more."
"You hated me for six days."
"Endlessly." He kisses your throat, voice dropping further.
"You didn’t want to see me again?"
He grins against your collarbone.
"Try leaving me again, cutie."
His grip tightens, unshakable.
His breath is hot against your ear.
"And I promise—"
His hips press forward, slow and deliberate, sending a sharp jolt of heat through you.
"You won’t be able to walk for a week."

Sylus x Reader
-:-breeding kink -:- Sylus loses control -:- consent king -:- primal, carnal, frenzied -:-

INTENDED FOR 18+ READERS. MINORS DNI.

“Hey…there’s something wrong with the boss.” Kieran’s voice was filled with concern, enough that you knew it wasn’t some weird ploy by Sylus to get you to visit. Plus, Luke was usually the one that called if Sylus wanted to casually bully you into visiting.
Your phone dinged and you quickly pulled it from your ear to view the message. It was a photo from Luke, showing the destruction of the front room of the base. Furniture was smashed, paintings torn from the wall, and other various decorations thrown about. The brandy decanter that’d been on a side table laid shattered on the ground, along with the two glasses that typically accompanied it.
“Kieran, what the fuck happened?” Worry sank into you as your eyes darted over the photo, hoping you wouldn’t find blood. There weren't really any signs of a struggle, just aimless chaos.
“We don’t know, we thought you might. He came home last night in a scary good mood and then halfway through the night, he just started wrecking the place.”
“We just had dinner and took a walk around the park, there wasn’t anything unusual about anything.” You tried thinking over the night and still couldn’t come up with an answer. “Where is he now?”
“He’s holed up in his room now, but we’re leaving. Before this temper tantrum, he asked us to go pick something up so there won't be anyone here.” There was a hint of uncertainty in Kieran’s voice, as though the twins were reluctant to leave Sylus in the state he was in.
“Okay, that’s fine,” you pinched the bridge of your nose. “I just got home from work, so I’ll be there in a bit to see if I can talk some sense into him.”
The call disconnected and you hastily packed a bag for an overnight stay in the N109 Zone. You were out the door and on your motorbike in a matter of minutes, speeding through the darkening streets to get to him as quickly as you could.
When you arrived, the house was eerily quiet. There was almost always something from Sylus’s collection of vinyls playing, the sound filtering through the halls from deep within the façade, but not tonight. It was dark, too. Not a single fireplace or lamp was lit. For all intents and purposes, the house was empty. But still you cautiously pressed onward.
“Sylus?” Your voice echoed in the house as you stepped gingerly over the debris, the light of your phone guiding your way. You made your way to his bedroom, knocking on the door.
“Sylus?” You called again when you cracked the door open. A single dim lamp let you see that the room was in similar disarray to the rest of the house. Still, there was no response, and you thought that maybe he’d left.
A feral-sounding growl emanated from the room. It didn’t sound human at all, and you wished you’d brought your weapon. Was all of the destruction the result of a wanderer? Your watch didn’t detect anything but-
“Leave.” Sylus’s voice was strained and…off. Instead of the usual gravel, there was a hint of something more, something beastly. You had heard stories of people turning into wanderers…was it possible that Sylus was a victim to this anomaly?
“Sy, is everything okay?” You dropped into his nickname out of habit, hoping that whatever had taken over his mind would recognize it.
“If you know what’s best for you, Kitten, you will leave right now.” His words echoed in your head, something familiar about them and this situation. You had brief flashes of tapestries and a cave before your mind returned to the present.
“Sy, are you hurt? The twins called me,” you said calmly, stepping further. You still couldn’t see him, but you could hear his ragged breathing coming from deeper in the room.
You had just cleared the archway that separated the sittig area from the sleeping space when you were pushed roughly against the wall. The side table holding the lamp teetered violently before falling over and taking the lamp with it, shattering the bulb. In the brief seconds the light was on him, you could see that Sylus’s pupils were blown wide and his face was flush. In the newfound darkness, his hot breath fanned across your neck in a series of shaky pants.
“Sylus, please. Tell me what’s wrong, you’re worrying me,” you say, raising your hand to cup his cheek. He made a sound like a barely restrained groan as he turned his face into your touch, inhaling deeply. He pressed his lips against your fingers, your palm, your wrist. You were certain that if he’d had a tail, it would be lashing about in agitation.
“You shouldn’t be here,” he growled. “I don’t think I can be very accommodating or gentle right now, Kitten.”
His warning rolled off him, and yet he still pressed further into you. He buried his nose into your neck, inhaling sharply and his lips trailed your pulse.
“S-Sy,” you gasped as his teeth scraped against your skin, in a spot that held an echo of an ache that no longer existed. Worry was very quickly being replaced with something else, something that pooled deep in your core.
“Mmh,” he purred, nuzzling his face against your neck again. “Your scent…steamy and sweet, like cherry wine. It’s been driving me insane all day.”
“Sylus, what-“ your question was cut off when he slanted his mouth across yours. All thoughts escaped you as he consumed you, plunging his tongue into your mouth the moment you opened for him. Worry and doubt fled from you and every sense was filled with him. You’d even forgotten why you arrived at the base in the first place as he hoisted you up against the wall. Your legs hitched up to wrap around his waist and your arms folded around his broad shoulders. He growled in approval, still devouring you as he pressed impossibly close. You could feel him standing at attention, hard and ready, and you wondered how long he’d been in that condition.
“You shouldn’t be here,” he said, his voice a breathless whisper against your lips.
“Well, I am here. What’s going on with you, you’re worrying me.” You had to tug at his hair to get him to back off just the slightest bit. Even with your eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room, his face was too far cast in shadows. He was definitely still Sylus, though- you didn’t see any signs of him transforming into a monster. Just the raging hardon that was pressed against your core.
“Kitten,” he whined, dropping his head against your shoulder. His breathing was ragged, sharp inhales let go as shaky exhales. “This need I feel…it’s like I crave you on some primal level.”
He groaned when you tugged at his hair again, just a gentle pull to guide his mouth back to yours. His chest rumbled in what felt like a purr, the vibrations rolling through you to gather at your already wanting core. You gave your silent consent to him by pulling him closer, devouring his mouth in equal fervor. You gently caught his bottom lip between your teeth and his entire body shuddered.
“You should-” lips found your leaping pulse.
“Run away-“ his teeth scraped the slope of your neck.
“While you still can-“ he latched onto your collarbone, sucking at the spot with a hard draw to create a mark there. You gasped and squirmed as best you could while crushed against the wall by his bulk. The action ground your core against his length and he groaned when he released you from his mouth.
“Take me,” you breathed into him. “Use me. Whatever you need, I’m here.”
He groaned again and hauled you against him, pulling away from the wall to stumble blindly to his bed. There he dropped you onto the mattress, bathing you in the pale lights of the city filtering in from the window. His eyes were still cast in shadow, but you could still see the desire that darkened his expression. He was silent, save for the sound of his heavy breaths, as his hand stroked from calf to hip. Heat blazed from his touch, sinking through the fabric of the leggings you wore.
“Last chance, Kitten,” he growled, the sound rumbling low in his chest. Hands rested at your hip, teasing the waistband in silent question. Though you had already given explicit consent, he waited.
Rather than voicing your answer, and rather than giving in to what he so very clearly wanted, your hands found the collar of his shirt. With slow precision, you unbuttoned his shirt while keeping your eyes locked on his. His breath came in shuddering bursts, his body trembling as you teased him. It was a cruel test of his control, even knowing how close he was to snapping. But you couldn’t help yourself. There was something about seeing carnal desire written in every feature, in every motion, that made you want to take advantage of it.
A sharp inhale, followed by a shuddered exhale when your hand trailed down his newly exposed chest in a tantalizing sweep. He caught your hand before it could trail too far down his abdomen, bringing it to his lips and laying a kiss across your knuckles, and another at your wrist.
And then his lips found yours in a searing kiss to seal your agreement. There was nothing short of passion in the way he devoured you, the way he coaxed you open to tangle his tongue with yours. The heat of his mouth trailed along your jaw, down your neck, searing into any exposed skin he could access until he was stopped my the lapel of the button down shirt you wore. Without warning, he grasped the overlapped edges at the front and ripped your shirt wide open. Buttons flew in every direction and all you could do was muffle your moan with a gasp. Because damn, that show of strength was not one you expected to be so hot. You didn’t even care about the loss of the shirt, you wanted him to do it again.
With the obstruction out of his way, Sylus continued the forge a blazing trail of kisses down your body. The bandeau you wore as a bra was shoved down so that he could swirl his tongue around one nipple and then the other. Soft bites to the undersides of your breasts as he continued downward elicited a sharp inhaled gasp from you. His fingers slipped into the waistband of your leggings at each hip and then tugged, removing them and your underwear in one swift motion. Shyness coursed through you when you were finally fully bared to him, but you didn’t fight him when he held your legs in place, spread for him, so he could rake his eyes up and down you.
His lips found the inside of your knee, teeth finding your thigh, and then his face was dangerously close to your core. You swore you could see his eye flash a quick glow, but the next moments pushed all thoughts and reason from your head.
“I’ll start with your warmest spot…” he murmured against your skin. And then he dipped his head further, his breath fanning against your slick folds. “And until I’m finished, you’re not allowed to stop me.”
And then he descended, overwhelming your cunt with precise strokes of his tongue. You tried to twist away from him, crying out in pleasure, but he held you fast. His gaze bored into you, even as your hands sunk into the silky strands of his hair. He worked you until you were right on the precipice, but then pulled away with a devilish grin before you could crash over the other side. You whined at his unfair treatment until he set about removing his own clothing. Your own gaze devoured him the more he exposed of himself, and fuck he was perfect in every way.
He crawled languidly up your body and settled over you, reclaiming your mouth in a hard, punishing kiss. His knee wedged between yours, pushing and coaxing until you had enough thinking power to wrap yourself around him. This put the head of his cock right at your entrance, and you strained your hips towards him in a desperate bid for penetration. A dark chuckle escaped him when he realized what you were attempting.
“All mine,” he growled. Your knee was hooked over his elbow, one at first and then both as the kiss progressed to a carnal need. You were open fully to him now, and all that was left was for him to take that plunge.
And fuck, did he ever.
His hips snapped forward without hesitation, not even affording you the time to adjust to his girth and length. Not that it was necessary, not when he glided into you easily on the slickness of your arousal. He slammed against you, sinking into you to the hilt, and you couldn’t help the pleasured sound that escaped you. You folded your arms around his shoulders, nails biting into his skin when he tried to pull back. He didn’t get far before his hips jerked forward again, almost off their own accord.
It was as though there was some primal instinct that drove him into you so impossibly deep. You couldn’t understand where it came from, but fuck it felt good. The sensations of his cock slamming into you paired with the guttural moans erupting from him brought you back to that precipice rapidly. So rapidly that you barely had a moment's notice before you came apart around him. Pleasure zipped up your spine, turning your mind blank. All you could do was arch beneath him, crying out his name even as he continued to plunder your body.
He so easily folded you in half and set a pace that was bordering on punishing. What little control he could claim to have had in this moment was gone as he rutted into you. The sounds of your bodies colliding over and over rose to join your pleasured cries and his own grunting moans. You were glad the base had emptied due to his tantrum, because it would be very obvious what was happening should anyone step on the floor landing. Hell, even floors below could probably hear your loud, frenzied mating.
Feeling bold, maybe even mischievous, you lifted your mouth to the jumping pulse at his neck and scraped your teeth against it. Sylus let out a shaky, breathy moan and tilted his head away to grant you more access. With a grin, you bit down on that corded muscle that made up the slope of his neck.
His head fell against your chest with a deep moan, slamming his hips into you hard. Your bite turned into sucking on his neck, raising a mark to show your claim on him to anyone who would dare to look. And he also latched his mouth to your skin, drawing out the same kind of mark.
With a growl, he released your neck to observe the purpling mark he made. His gaze darted to yours, locking eyes with you as his thrusts increased to a breakneck pace. Pleasured expressions flitted across your face and you were almost certain that’s what he was looking for. And then you were arching into him again, crying out his name as your walls pulsed around him. The edge he had been chasing came and went, and he spilled into you with a guttural cry of his own. His hips jerked and slammed into you, his cock twitching as you milked him for everything he had.
He kissed you feverishly, and even as you came down from the high of release, he was still impossibly hard inside you. He rocked into you with small thrusts and you could feel his heart hammering beneath your touch.
“Fuck, how do you feel this damn good,” he whimpered against your lips. His body crashed against yours when you whimpered his name in response, over and over as he chased another release. It came to him with a sharp snap of his hips against yours, a shudder that swept through his entire body, and then more hot ropes of cum were flooding your cunt again.
And he still somehow wasn’t done with you.
A brief respite was all that was granted before he was thrusting deep into you again. At this point, you weren't even sure where you ended and he began. You were beginning to wonder if you would be leaking his cum for days after this encounter, even moreso when he slammed into you again with a guttural, primal cry of ecstasy. This one brought you over the edge with him, the feel of his cock pulsing and twitching inside you drawing release from you without warning.
Finally, after one more orgasm ripped through both of you, Sylus slumped against you. He nuzzled into your neck, soft kisses peppering your skin as you both attempted to regain your breath. He released your legs from his pressing hold and you ran your thighs down both sides of his body, delighting in the way he shuddered again.
You were both a sweaty mess, and you were certain the sheets needed to be changed once he slipped from your body. But he took his sweet time with you, giving gentle kisses that were a stark contrast to the primal possession he just exhibited. The weight and heat of him pressing you into the mattress felt like heaven, and you made a mental note to request this kind of skinship again in the future. Maybe with a little less mess. Or maybe with more, who knows.
You complained when he removed himself from the bed, grudgingly allowing yourself to be carried by him to the bathroom. You were exhausted and couldn’t work up the energy to feel embarrassed as he cleaned you up in the shower, but you were delighted in the way his hands massaged your scalp as he washed your hair. You nearly fell asleep when he blow dried your hair, making him have to carry you back to bed. He slipped you between fresh silk sheets and climbed in behind you, trailing kisses along the back of your neck and shoulders as he wrapped himself around you.
Safe and cozy, you fell into the deepest sleep you’d ever experienced.
And when you awoke to Sylus being gone, you couldn’t help but pout. Until he pushed through the door with a tray in hand, wrapped in his favourite brocade robe. He wordlessly set the tray down in front of you, and you saw it was filled with various crackers, cheeses, and fruits.
“Consider this my apology,” he said with a chuckle as you eagerly dug into the tray. He sat next to you in bed, allowing you to feed him. He was content enough to watch you enjoy the tray, but couldn’t say no when you turned to offer him bites.
“What was that all about anyway?” You ask finally, after working up the courage to not be shy. Sylus’s brows drew down in thought.
“I’m not entirely sure, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced something like that before. I came home to being surrounded by your essence, your scent, and it's like a switch flipped in my head. Like I was possessed. Like some sort of primal instinct that wouldn’t leave until I had you flat on your back with my cock driving into you.”
You blushed furiously at his casual words, occupying your hands and face with more food, so that you wouldn’t put those hands and your mouth all over him in some sort of retaliation. He chuckled darkly and leaned close, inhaling deeply at your neck.
“Mmh. I think I like my scent being intertwined with yours,” he growled into your ear.
Neither of you left his bed for a while following that, and you were grateful it was your weekend.

Danny can’t find Jason, he’s too young of a ghost, powerful, but inexperienced. He knew that Jason is from another universe, but he can’t access that Universe, having been relying on the fenton portal for going in and out of the ghost zone. Sam and Tucker can only do so much but they did what they can and Danny is grateful for their efforts.
Years went by, longer than how long Jason had been with them, They’re in 2nd year college now and Jazz is graduating. Danny had been crowned the King of Infinite Realms despite his futile attempts at prolonging it, ‘A year after your legal maturity day is the perfect time’ As Clockwork had said. Still no sign of Jason.
It happened a year later.
Danny, drowning in bureaucratic shit that the ancients had decided to set aside despite their own ability to solve those problems themselves only to dump them in an inexperienced newly unwillingly crowned King. Danny is also in his third year of college that means his human identity is also drowning in fucking thesis papers, He’s getting nightmares just by looking at parchment and office papers.
Jason would probably laugh at him.
Jason, who has been missing for more than five years…
God Danny misses Jason, He misses sitting at the roof of a random house with him Stargazing. He misses Jason’s excited babble whenever he discusses some difference with the classic literature in this world to his’. The feeling of his core synchronizing with his…
Was he even real? No, Sam and Tucker remembers him so he wasn’t some hallucination.
Danny glances down on the paper before him, rereading the thing three times before it registered in his mind and promptly throws the parchment away from him, and because it’s paper, it only flapped pathetically on the air before smacking him in the face. He sighed.
___
“Fuck we were too late! they’re almost complete with the chanting!” Constantine curses, sees the runes etched on the floor and pales.
“What exactly are we dealing with here?” Batman grunts, They’re a good feet away from the cloaked figures. The warehouse is dark, the only light source coming from the green flamed candles surrounding the runes.
“I wasn’t sure at first, but the sudden shift in the atmosphere earlier was heavy, I thought they were summoning demons, That we can deal with. This is so much worse”
“Get to the point” Batman turned to the other’s “apprehend the cloaked figures, especially the one in the middle, we need to know their intentions” Dick nodded and saluted “Roger that” He and the other bat’s got to work. Zatanna started to seal the area around the runes to keep whatever was about to be summoned inside.
“They’re summoning the High King of the Infinite Realms, The infinite realms is the border between all universes and where everyone that dies, ends up to. I don’t know how they managed to conjure all the materials needed to but they’re summoning a GOD!” Constantine is panicking “And I don’t even want to touch the shit that’s happening inside there with a ten foot pole but I do know the king is a tyrant!”
“Hah! It’s too late! This is as fated from the scriptures, Pariah Dark will free us and govern the world with his greatness!” The deranged leader said, laughing in his binds as Red Robin easily kept him down. In front of them the runes lit up with a bright green, the ground shook as the cloaked leader’s deranged laughter increased.
A large black whispy arm shot out from the ground in the middle of the summoning circle, followed by a head, A flaming crown on top, then a body, its jagged rib cage outside framing his torso. everything about it looked off, apparently even for the cult leader that summoned it.
“Wha-?! You’re not Pariah Dark!” He screamed and thrashed in Red Robin's hold, who held him down with a foot on his back.
Its white eerie eyes darted down to him, It seemed to take full offense as it bent down and hisses “Do I look like Pariah Dark?” Its voice is like fork grating on a chalkboard, every mortal in the room winced, especially Red Robin who is closer in proximity.
The King straightened up and swept its cold eyes across the room “Why am I called here?” It sounded annoyed, like they’re just ants wasting its time, which in retrospect they were.
“I swear I changed the summoning requirements…” It muttered, which was heard by everyone. A hint of humanity, they could use this. It’s obviously a new King but they have to thread carefully.
Constantine stepped forward and bowed “High King of the infinite realms, we deeply apologize on behalf of these cult for wasting your time. We want nothing of the sort from you and we only wish to be on your good side”
It looked and stared at Constantine for a good moment before it lunged with rage, only stopped by the summoning circle and Zatanna’s barrier “YOU!!!!”
Constantine stumbled a step back in shock at the absolute hatred brimming the King's eyes.
“You’re the major cause of my headache’s! Who the fuck sells their soul to different entity’s when you only got one?! You whore! I have a special cabinet just full of your paperwork shit! I ought to just kill you and slice your core into ten so I’ll have one less ton of paperwork to deal with!”
It smashes its fist on the barrier and a resounding ‘crack’ echoed across the warehouse.
Constantine can feel Batman’s glare on the back of his head, Zatanna’s strengthening the barrier but the King doesn’t seem to care.
The other bats have gathered the cultist to one side of the room far away from the summoning circle and they stood waiting for orders dealing with their new problem.
Danny sighed, he wanted to finish up until section J but he still has to deal with this. He looked consideringly at the flimsy barrier keeping him, the only reason he stayed was so he wouldn’t scare the superhero team gathered around already securing the cult that was the cause of this shit. Also this is a new universe, not unheard of as he knew a lot of ghosts from this universe and other variants, Just that he hasn’t had the time to visit as many universes as he would’ve liked.
Ever since taking the crown his powers grew exponentially and he gained the ability to cross other universes as he liked. It’s just that the few Universes he managed to visit didn’t have His Jason in it. And there are infinite universes, it’s like finding a microscopic needle in a pit of hay.
He shifted from his eldritch form to something more fitted for royalty. It wouldn’t hurt to check this universe out. The cult summoning him had been knowledgeable but not enough, They only bound their souls to him as an offering so he isn’t required to grant whatever wishes they would have liked.
Danny flew out of the summoning circle and the barrier, He could make acquaintances with the people here. The guy in black and blue spandex looks friendly.
Batman and the other’s watched as the King turned into a more human form and tore through Zatanna’s barrier with no problem, floating down and seemed to say something before he froze, eye’s widening, and then he shot off.
“Nightwing, Robin, I trust you two to finish this up and hand them over to the GCPD. The rest of you let’s go, we can’t trust an unknown entity to roam free”
“It’s headed towards the docks” Zatanna informed them, already ahead in locating their wayward King.
Batman frowned, The docks, It’s where Red Hood currently is, he turned down the emergency call claiming he already had other plans. He caught wind of another unauthorized drug trade starting to circulate when the alley kids helpfully informed him of unfamiliar men trying to sell them drugs and a few attempts of kidnapping. Everyone knew each other in crime alley and one of the main rules Red Hood has is to not involve kids.

Escape attempt gone wrong (not clickbait)(my husband gets pissed?!?!)
Viltrumite Mark x fem reader, forced marriage, the whole shabang, I know nothing about Viltrum♡ word vomitted, lame fade to black scene because idk how to end this
You see a few ships zip by your windows on some days, you know they don't need ships, so a lot of them were dormant in landing zones.
"What're you thinking about?" Your husband's hands snaked onto your shoulders as his voice reached your ear, a small smile on his face.
"... nothing, I'm just wondering why you have ships since Viltrumites can fly." You noted, Mark hummed. "... honestly? I can't tell you either, maybe it's for longer journeys or cargo." He kissed your cheek gently. "Why? Planning to take one on a joy ride?"
The idea was tempting. "Don't be ridiculous," you scoffed. "I can't fly those."
Later that night, a formal meeting between a few powerful Viltrumites you didn't care about busied Mark and a majority of your guards have turned in for the night, you were left to your own devices in a big bedroom stockpiled with gifts from every corner of the galaxy.
You tossed and turned, sleeping early didn't help. You were restless, you've been restless since you've been demanded to remain in one building and one building only. It infuriated you, your supposed husband most likely saw you as a reward for decimating a planet and not a living being with autonomy.
You sat up, glancing aside to the empty space next to you. He had some nerve, locking you up then leaving to play emperor like this, anywhere else in the galaxy would be better now.
... 'anywhere else' wasn't impossible.
. . .
"You need to mind your manners," Nolan scolded as Mark left the room the 'conference' was held in. "I know you're doing a good job in power, but that doesn't mean you can disrespect your seniors."
"I don't respect those who don't respect me." Mark spoke, his tone grated through gritted teeth. "All I want to do is get this stupid cape off me and see my wife."
Nolan restrained an eye roll, the human pet. "You're too attached to that human, what do you see in her anyway?"
"Everything. She's kind, interesting, she sees me beyond my strength, it's like..." he let out a sigh, holding back a shiver from showing, the sigh almost sounded lovesick. "It's like she sees right through me to my core, sees me for who I am, not what I am."
Gag. His father ignored the romance ramble. "You'll learn to see her as a tool for the good of the empire."
Mark rolled his eyes, parting ways at a hallway. "I'm going to bed, I neglected her enough." He didn't wait for a 'goodnight' or any last comments from his father as he left.
The grand doors to the bedroom creaked open, nothing changed. Your body under the sheets, gifts untouched and floors clean, he let out a sigh of relief as he threw aside the cape, loosening the collar of his clothes. "Are you awake?" His voice was soft compared to the usual commanding tone. "I missed you, dear.."
He came to his side of the bed. "I've been waiting to—"
Pillows. Not your peaceful sleeping figure. A stack of pillows. Confusion flooded his head as he got up.
"... oh, oh! Haha! very funny, love." He looked around. "You can come out now!" He waited for a beat, eyes glancing around for any movement.
None, nothing, not even a shuffle. Panic tingled at his fingertips, as he tugged the sheets off the bed, rapidly looking under the bed his eyes darted around the room. His heart raced, looking in any and every compartment that you could possibly squeeze into.
The room grew into a mess but he couldn't care less, sweat coated his forehead from the frenzy of pure panic. "You're not here." He finally admitted to himself, his heart pounding.
Silently cursing the meeting in his head, he sped off to collect whoever he can from guards or staff to form a search party, you couldn't have gone far. Humans were weak, vulnerable, he'll find you. He'll find you. He'll find you.
. . .
You held the cloak you found in the back of the closet close to your chest, you didn't know if Viltrumites recognised you but you wouldn't risk it, but your feet hurt as you ran through the unfamiliar structures.
The hallways were empty, the doors were loose. It was a miracle. You got a chance to leave this nightmare of a marriage, you had no clear idea on where you'd be headed, but you heard stories of galaxy nomads and travellers making ends meet and surviving! You're a smart person, you've got common sense. How hard could it be..?
The landing zone. You just needed to get to the landing zone.
A gasp escaped you, you heard a few barks of commands. "Spread out! She couldn't have gone far!"
You needed to get to that landing zone.
Keep low, keep hidden. You repeated that in your head as you ran, you thought you'd never get there or that you may have gotten lost, then the landing zone came into view, you saw a few ships and suddenly, hope seemed within your reach.
The search party seemed too focused on the buildings and structures, you thanked whatever architect decided to put that place outside of populated areas, the shouting dwindled, turning more distant as you got closer.
You tossed the hood off seeing a few Viltrumites guarding a gate, spotting you as you closed in, they grew confused. "Your imperial majesty? What happ—"
"Open the gates!!" For the first time, you commanded them. "Open them, now!!"
They had no choice but to listen, the gates opened and your heart almost pounded out of your chest. The ships lined up and their states were clear, maintenence, maintenence, offline, maintenence, offline, reserved, offline, reserved.
Finally, 'Ready'.
You could hear the shouting return, but you didn't care, the ship took you in so easily and you could see a new life for yourself outside of this miserable planet, now you just need to learn how to get the controls to listen to you.
It was quiet inside the ship, save for the rapid button clicking and switch flicking from you, everything was coming to life in the ship's mechanics, you held onto the yoke of the ship as you saw the landscape shift, it would levitate off the ground soon.
. . .
He saw it in the distance, hovering high over the empire he saw a ship start to levitate, he knew about every ship, item and living being that entered and left Viltrum.
"No. No. Nononono." His body moved, launching him to the landing zone area with his fists clenched ready to tear through metal.
Mark mumbled to himself as he closed the distance quickly, angered at your audacity to try to escape him.
. . .
Freedom was on the horizon, you were out of here, out of this nightmare. Your hands readjusted repeatedly on the yolk as the ship moved.
A booming sound caused you to whip your head to the back of the ship, your heart dropped seeing an indent in the metal.
"I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!" You never heard Mark's voice reach that level of volume, the pounding continued. "COME OUT!"
You stood your ground, even as the fear of what he might do if he gets you caused your hands to tremble and your heart to race quickly, you repeatedly tapped a few buttons, didn't this stupid ship have thrusters or whatever?!
An alarm blared, one meant to let a pilot know the ship wouldn't listen, you had a feeling it had to do with more rumbling from below, curse his monstrous strength, you heard a piercing noise, followed by a grating, screeching noise. He was peeling the metal with his bare hands.
"You'd rather DIE in the cold of the galaxy? You despise me to THAT extent?!" He screeched at the top of his lungs, the ship sparking after he destroyed its engine from the outside and it's structure being torn apart.
Your hands rapidly tried to find any button that could reverse or override the damage. "Please," you mumbled as if the ship could hear you. "Please work, please! I can't stay here..!"
"(NAME)!! TURN THIS SHIP OFF!! NOW!!"
His yelling scared you, you gripped a lever and before you knew it, a flury of sparks flew from the control panel, so powerful it almost knocked you out, but the ship being pummeled back to the ground beat the sparks to it, the tilt of the ship causing you to fall out the pilot's chair and hit your head on the way down to the ship's floor.
Your head hurts, your heart hurts, are you going to die on this ship? You didn't want to succumb to the pounding in your head, you were scared you'd wake up chained or worse. A burning sensation collected at the point of impact on your head.
The ship was useless now, Mark made sure of it, the engine being destroyed in an instant, tugging the metal back until there was enough of an opening for him to slip through, he bent his head down to enter the ship. its lights flickering off, he looked up with a piercing glare, a scowl on his lips and eyebrows furrowed, his knuckles were reddened from the sheer force of his strikes against the metal.
It was quiet for a moment as he watched the consciousness slip away from you, his footsteps that approached you quiet compared to the powerful banging of his fists from seconds ago.
"You've got some nerve." He started, a look of anger, sadness, frustration and heartbreak in his eyes. "You think it's that easy, don't you?"
Black spots formed in your vision, your expression was one he couldn't dissect, it pissed him off more, and he knew he'd still take care of that bump on your head after bringing you back home.
It doesn't matter, he'd indulge in his win for now and seethe about the insolence after. And right when he thought you were becoming more obedient too.
"I'm not letting you go." Mark stated to make the situation clear to your fuzzy state of mind, "Not now. Not ever. I'll make sure of it."

Ghosts of Gotham: Tim Drake is a Halfa
Danny wasn’t exactly sure what he expected when he met Gotham’s infamous vigilantes, but “Red Hood smells like death and swamp water had a baby” definitely wasn’t on the list. The moment he stepped into the room, Danny gagged so hard he nearly fell out of the air.
“Holy Ancients,” he wheezed, covering his nose. “What in the name of all things unholy is that?”
Jason, already not thrilled about the random glowing stranger showing up, tilted his helmeted head. “What’s what?”
“That! You! You smell like—oh, man. I can’t even describe it.” Danny waved his hand in front of his face like it might help. “It’s like if ectoplasm went rancid and then you rolled in it for three days straight. Dude, do you know what’s going on with your ecto-situation?”
Jason took a threatening step forward. “You wanna say that again?”
Danny floated higher, clearly not intimidated. “Oh, I’ll say it again. You stink. And not just like regular stink. Like ghost stink. Like, ‘this is a health code violation, and the Ghost Zone is going to fine you’ stink. How are you even standing there right now? Anyone from Amity Park would be side-eyeing you so hard you’d feel it in your soul—what’s left of it, anyway.”
Jason stared, his body language radiating murderous intent. “You are two seconds away from eating pavement, Casper.”
Danny, unbothered, pointed at his own chest. “Excuse me, Phantom. Casper wishes he could pull this look off.”
“Phantom,” Dick interrupted, trying and failing not to laugh, “maybe we could focus on the introductions first?”
Danny gave Jason one last look of pity and floated down. “Fine, fine. But seriously, Big Red, we’re going to have to talk about that. I’ll fix it later. No need to thank me.”
Jason looked ready to commit murder, but Bruce’s glare cut him off before he could say anything.
Once the chaos settled, introductions were exchanged, and things calmed down—relatively speaking. Danny, as it turned out, was impossible to fully calm down. He buzzed around the room like he had endless energy, chatting and throwing out quips that seemed to simultaneously amuse and irritate everyone.
Then Danny’s gaze landed on Red Robin, and everything shifted.
Danny tilted his head, his glowing green eyes narrowing slightly. For a moment, his usual chaos quieted, curiosity taking over. “Huh,” he said softly, almost to himself.
Tim stiffened, his body going taut as though preparing for impact.
Danny floated closer, peering at him with an unnervingly intense expression. “You’re like me.”
Tim’s heart skipped a beat, and he immediately stepped back, his movements sharp and jerky. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Yes, you do,” Danny said, and his tone was too soft for the others to hear the shift in it. “You’re like me. You’re—”
Tim’s hand twitched at his side, as though debating whether to reach for something or retreat entirely. “Don’t,” he said sharply, his voice low.
Danny blinked, then realization dawned on his face. “Wait… they don’t know, do they?”
“What don’t we know?” Bruce cut in, his voice sharp with suspicion.
Danny ignored him, his gaze locked on Tim. “Oh, man. I’m sorry. I didn’t—”
Tim’s eyes darted toward Danny, his frown deepening as uncertainty clouded his features. He shifted his weight, his fingers twitching at his sides as if fighting the urge to bolt.
He took a step back, then another, his movements slow and almost imperceptible. His breathing quickened, shallow and uneven, as though the air itself had grown heavier. The space around him seemed to shimmer faintly, a distortion that matched the anxiety rippling across his face.
Danny reached out, concern etched in his expression, but Tim flinched. His lips parted as if to say something, but no words came. Instead, the shimmering intensified, and with each passing second, Tim grew more translucent, his form fading like a mirage under the moon.
By the time Danny blinked, Tim was gone, leaving only a faint disturbance in the air where he had been.
The bats froze, their eyes darting around the room.
“What the hell just happened?” Jason demanded, reaching for his guns. “Where’d he go?”
“Did you do something?” Damian snapped at Danny, his hand already on his katana.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa!” Danny held up his hands, his eyes wide with excitement. “Not me! That was all him! Holy Ancients—he can turn invisible?!” A grin split his face as he practically vibrated in place. “This is awesome! Wait—does he shoot ecto-beams too? Or, oh, what if he’s got some crazy transformation I’ve never even seen before? This just keeps getting better!”
Bruce’s expression darkened. “You need to explain. Now.”
Danny sighed, his excitement fading as realization set in. “Okay, but first, I need to go find him. Because if he’s anything like me, he’s probably freaking out right now. So… bye!”
He phased through the floor before anyone could stop him.
———
Danny found Tim perched on the edge of Wayne Industries, staring out at the Gotham skyline. He floated over cautiously, his boots touching down softly on the rooftop.
“Hey,” Danny said, his voice quiet. “Mind if I sit?”
Tim didn’t respond, but he didn’t tell him to leave either, so Danny took that as permission. He sat down cross-legged, giving Tim some space.
They stayed like that for a while, the silence heavy but not unbearable.
Finally, Danny broke it. “Okay, so… not to ruin the moment, but can we talk about how you've had to endure Jason’s ecto-stench this entire time? Because seriously, that’s gotta be a health violation. I mean, I'm half-dead, and even I think it’s concerning. Someone needs to dunk him in a pool of purified ectoplasm or something. I’m gonna file a complaint with—”
Tim laughed. It was soft and brief, but it was real.
Danny grinned, leaning back on his hands. “There it is. I knew you had a laugh in there somewhere.”
Tim sighed, his shoulders loosening slightly. “You’re… a lot,” he admitted.
“I know,” Danny said proudly. “But I grow on people. Like mold. Or fungus.”
Tim huffed another laugh, shaking his head. For a moment, the tension eased, and Danny let the silence settle again before speaking more seriously.
“Look,” Danny said, his voice softer, “I’m sorry I outed you like that. I didn’t know. And if they give you crap about it, I’ll personally make their lives miserable. But… you’re not alone in this, okay? I mean, yeah, it sucks. A lot. But you’ve got me now, because there’s no way we’re not becoming best friends now, and I get it.”
Tim looked at him, his eyes glassy but steady. “Thanks,” he said quietly. He hesitated, his gaze dropping to the floor. “Do you really get it? I mean, you know what it’s like to…” His voice trailed off, thick with hesitation.
Danny tilted his head, his tone softer now. “Yeah. I know what it’s like.”
Tim let out a breath, shaky but determined. “I died.. a few months ago.”
Danny blinked but didn’t say anything, giving Tim space to continue.
“Harley—she caught me. Took me, actually. I was gone for weeks. They—she—handed me over to Joker. It was like a… gift. She thought it’d fix their relationship or something, I don’t know.” Tim’s voice faltered, his gaze flickering to the floor as if the memories were too much to hold. “I held out as long as I could. I kept fighting, kept trying to survive, but…”
He shook his head, his hands clenching into fists at his sides. “Weeks of it. Beatings. Electrocutions. I don’t even remember the exact moment my heart stopped. I just… wasn’t there anymore.”
Danny stayed quiet, his face a mix of empathy and understanding.
“Harley panicked,” Tim continued, his words tumbling out like a confession. “She thought she’d gone too far, that Joker would kill her next. So she tried shocking me back. Guess she half-suceeded? I only came back halfway.” He gestured at himself vaguely, his hands trembling. “I’m not the same. I’m not… whole.”
Danny nodded slowly. "You’re stuck between," he said, offering the words with quiet reassurance.
Tim nodded, biting his lip. “Yeah. Between.” He paused, looking up at Danny. “I haven’t told anyone because… how do you tell them something like that? How do you tell your family you’re not really alive? That their search was all in vain? That I still died, even though they looked so hard for me? I can’t make them think they failed.” His voice wavered. “They were so scared when they found me…”
Danny stayed with him in the silence, his presence a steady comfort.
Tim exhaled slowly, rubbing his face. “I thought I was weak. I thought if I told them what really happened, they’d think I was broken. And I didn’t want to be a burden.” He looked up at Danny. “I’m still not used to this. Not used to being… like this. I don’t even know how to control it—sometimes I phase through walls, other times I get stuck halfway. And the invisibility thing… I can’t even make it work without disappearing when I get too emotional.”
Danny’s gaze softened with understanding as he leaned in slightly, his voice steady but gentle. He hummed thoughtfully, “It’s a lot to handle all at once.”
Tim's shoulders slumped as he leaned closer to Danny, “I’ve been trying to figure out how to control it, but every time I get close, something goes wrong. And I didn’t want anyone to think I was weak or… freakish, so I kept pretending everything was fine. It was easier that way. Easier than explaining… all this.” He exhaled slowly, the exhaustion in his voice evident. “At least it was… until you showed up.”
Danny reached out, resting a hand on Tim’s arm in a quiet gesture of comfort. “I don’t think you’re a freak. You’re just different, like me. But that doesn’t make you broken. You’re still you.” He paused, meeting Tim’s gaze. “I know what it’s like.. to feel different, freakish, the whole nine yards. For what it’s worth? You're handling it a lot better than I did.”
Tim gave him a tight smile, the first real one in a while. “Thanks. It helps. More than you know.”
———
When they returned to the Batcave, Tim sat down with the others, Danny sticking close by his side. Tim took a deep breath and told them everything—about being captured by Harley, the weeks of torture at the Joker’s hands, the electrocutions that had stopped his heart. About how Harley had panicked and shocked him back to life, halfway. How he wasn’t entirely human anymore.
The family listened, their expressions ranging from horror to guilt to anger. Jason looked ready to kill someone, and Bruce’s usually stoic face betrayed a crack of regret. Tim hesitated as he explained why he hadn’t told them sooner, his voice faltering but honest.
Tim’s voice cracked slightly as he spoke, “I didn’t want you to think you failed… that you searched for me for nothing,"
Danny stayed quiet but stayed close, resting a hand on Tim’s shoulder. “For the record,” he said, glaring at the others, “if any of you give him crap about this, you’re gonna have to deal with me. And trust me, I will make your lives miserable.”
Tim gave him a small, grateful smile. For the first time, he didn’t feel quite so alone.

He’s existed for an eternity. He will exist for longer than that. Danny Fenton’s ruled the Zone longer than he’s been fully alive, by a long shot. Still half alive.
Immortal. He can’t die- not when he’s already half dead- and his age stays and stays stagnated. Un-aging. True immortality, unlike the claims of those newborn gods who borrow power from a deeper force than even they could comprehend.
A god dies when there are none left to venerate them. Danny dies when death ceases to be reality, which in itself is death…
It’s easy, once his mortal life had faded far away. He slips into roles- protection, of course, never forgotten- and traipses around to live in universes even as he kills them by simply existing. One day, a little fairy catches his eyes. It fluttered about meaninglessly, gathering dew drops and sap. It taught him two lessons.
“Why do you work yourself so?” Death had asked the little fairy.
The little fairy, only seeing the facade of a placid young boy that Death had donned to imitate the days where he was fully alive, had answered fearlessly. “I enjoy the work! My court needs those supplies, and I’m happy being able to help while doing something I love.”
“Oh.” Danny remembered being like that once. It was why his essence thrummed with Protection, even in Death. He had forgotten, even as a halfa, how to be alive. He knew how to be living, but he’d forgotten how to be alive.
Still, the boy had another question.
“Are you not afraid of me?” He’d met people like these before, on the rare occasions he personally guided souls, and they were unflinching in his presence.
“No, you are just a child. Say… won’t you tell me your name?”
“Danny,” Death answered truthfully. Death doesn’t like to lie. “Danny Fenton.”
“Danny-” the little fae freezes, malicious grin falling from its face as it trembled like the blades of grass it stole dew from. “No- no, no! Why- why can’t I take your name?!”
“I am also known as Death,” Danny admitted, watching as the fairy’s magic imploded on itself. One could not own death. He learns a lesson that day too. If he disguises himself, if death is disguised as harmlessness, as just ‘one more’, as an object of greed, those living would happily run towards Death himself.
As the little buzzing fae backed away, the flowers on its extremities withered. Danny caught its wrist before it could dart away.
“Tell the ruler of your court to come,” Danny said gently, ectoplasm easing away from the trembling little thing.
“Yes, yes, please, I will.” Danny released the fluttering thing and bid it leave.
----
"That's how you met Oberon?"
Danny laughed, plucking the little Robin from a jump and shadowing to the ledge two buildings ahead.
"Not so, little sparrow. That was how I met Tatiana."
"The queen?!"
"The queen. Remember this, if nothing else, when you play with Royalty, there is very little they wouldn't stoop to in order to ensure their wants."
"Okay. Does that include you too?"
See? Danny knew the little sparrow was smart, somewhere beneath that fanboy-driven dumbassery.
"Yes."
"Soooo... what do you want, Danny?"
"To know what it is to live again. Death tends to be cold, you see."
"...Can I help?"
A flash of fangs, a slow, meaningful smile. "You are already helping, little sparrow. Even your Bats are helping. I have not felt joy in centuries."
"Oh."
Robin's comms buzzed. "Ask him about how he met Oberon, Timsy!" Jason's voice came through loud and clear to Danny.
"Oberon?" Danny cut in, enjoying the vibrant activity his chosen nightlife observed. "Oh, I beat him at poker. Actually, I own a quarter of his palace."

01 RAFE CAMERON meets the new art teacher.
includes fem!teacher!reader / uncle!rafe / reader goes by "miss sugar" / fluff / grumpy x sunshine / family dynamics / safe to read! / wc 1.5k

Sarah already had her own family. Two rascals, Jackson and Josie. Meanwhile, Rafe didn’t. He had no kids. Nada. Zero. And he planned to keep it that way for a while.
As much as he loved his niece and nephew, they depleted his desire to have any. They were both rowdy and talkative and an awful lot like their parents.
It scared him.
He didn’t need more John B’s and Sarah’s walking the earth. Those little devils.
And yet, he was on his way to pick them up from school.
He never had to before. It was typically JJ, Kie, or anyone who wasn’t him. But apparently, the Pogues were more swamped than usual and had a ‘customer issue’ at their little Surf Shop. Whatever that meant.
Safe to say, Rafe wasn’t too thrilled about it. He was a busy man—the CEO of Cameron Development, to be exact. Children didn’t fit in his schedule. At least, that was what he told himself on the lonelier, quieter days. But family was family, as his dad always said. So, when his sister had called him, pleading, he reluctantly agreed.
When he pulled into the pick-up zone, driving along the curb, he spotted his niece and nephew. They were hard to miss, not only because they were the only kids in front of the school, but because of the woman accompanying them. You.
With the sweetest smile Rafe had ever seen, you stood between them, hands clasped behind your back, your eyes darting between the two children as they talked over each other.
Rafe stopped in front of them and rolled the windows down. The youngest of the two, Josie, was the first to notice.
An exaggeratedly loud gasp left her lips, her eyes wide. “Uncle Rafe!”
That set off a chain reaction.
Jackson looked up, his brows furrowed. “Uncle Rafe?”
Rafe didn’t know if he should feel offended.
Then, your gaze shifted away from the kids, meeting his eyes through the passenger window. Time slowed. He saw your smile soften, and you waved at him. His heart lurched out of his chest, the feeling foreign and borderline uncomfortable.
What the fuck?
But he didn’t have time to dwell on the feeling as his niece and nephew rushed towards his car.
“Uncle, uncle, uncle,” Josie chanted, panting like she ran a mile. “You’re pickin’ us up?”
Jackson stared at him with narrowed eyes. “You never pick us up.”
Damn, what was this kid’s problem?
“Yes, Josie. And, well, they’re busy at the Surf Shop,” Rafe sighed, unlocking the car doors to let them in. “So, you guys got me for today.”
Through the rearview mirror, he watched the children clamber into the vehicle, feet kicking and hands flying as they argued about trivial matters—I always sit on the left side! So? I got in first. You’re being a butthead! I’m telling mommy you called me a butthead!—and so on. He chuckled, his lips curving into a grin.
Suddenly, you spoke, “They’re special, huh?”
Your voice was warm and inviting. He didn’t know a person could sound so lovely.
When Rafe looked at you, he forgot how to speak. Every word he knew? Gone. And you barely did anything. You were just standing before the passenger door, staring back at him. He couldn’t help but notice the smudge of orange paint on the bridge of your nose.
“Yeah, definitely,” he ultimately said, nodding.
You extended your right hand out to him through the open window. He saw more dried paint on your fingertips. “I’m Miss Sugar, the new art teacher here.”
Ah, that explained it.
“Rafe.” He shook your hand, his eyes locked on your face. Your hand felt soft but far from fragile. “Rafe Cameron.”
“It’s so nice to meet you,” you beamed.
Did you ever stop smiling? Your cheeks should be hurting at this rate.
He nodded, letting go of your hand before he looked like a creep. “Pleasure’s all mine.”
“Oh, Uncle Rafe,” Josie called, rummaging through her backpack, “me and Jackson made a paper chain thingy with Miss Sugar! Look, this one’s you!”
He turned his head, eyes squinting at the paper doll chain she held up. Josie explained they made it during the after-school program, where she and Jackson spent a few extra hours each day. There were nine cut-out paper dolls, with what he assumed to be Josie at the start and him at the end. It was rough around the edges, but what did Rafe expect from a five-year-old? And the longer he stared at it, Rafe figured he was a last-minute addition, his hand glued to Sarah’s doll, the paper there wrinkled.
From the corner of his eye, he saw you tilt your head into his car, looking at the kids. You seemed proud. It made him wonder what it felt like to have someone be proud of him.
“That’s really nice.” Rafe looked at his niece, who grinned brightly at his praise. He then stared at the frowny face drawn on his doll. “Why’s everyone smiling except for me?”
“Because you’re always grumpy,” Jackson replied bluntly.
Little Josie slapped a hand over her mouth and erupted in giggles. Of course, his nephew was the one behind it.
Seriously, did this kid have a vendetta against him?
“Okay, you—” Rafe caught sight of your amused expression, and he bit back his words, “—I’m not always grumpy.”
You tried to cover up your laugh with a cough. “Yeah, he doesn’t look grumpy right now,” you defended, though it was far from convincing. Then you shot him a wink, and the gears in his mind stuttered and fell apart. Were you flirting with him? Or was it more of an ‘I got your back’ sort of wink?
Fuck, why did he even care? He needed to pull himself together.
“Anyways, I have to get back now,” you sighed, and the kids protested almost immediately. He saw a frown tug on your features, and you moved to the backseat window, cooing a mix of ‘I know’ and ‘I wish I could stay longer’ that eased their complaints. Eventually, you moved to the passenger window again, telling him a sweet, “Get home safe.”
Rafe felt himself having to fight back a smile. “Thanks.”
You pursed your lips, your fingers tapping the window seal. “Don’t be a stranger, Rafe Cameron,” you said, stepping back from his car.
Jackson and Josie shouted their goodbyes to you before he could respond, but your words rang in his ears. Don’t be a stranger. He watched you wave to him and the kids before turning on your heel, your long skirt dancing around your legs as you made your way to the school’s entrance. Once you disappeared behind the door, he eased off the brake and pulled out of the pick-up zone.
As Rafe drove the kids home, the wind whipped through the open windows, the music on the stereo hummed softly, and his niece and nephew whispered to each other in the backseat. What about? He didn’t know, nor did he want to know. But he suspected they were up to no good.
Josie cleared her throat with an over-the-top ahem, ahem! “Uncle Rafe?”
“What?”
She didn’t waste another second. “What you think of Miss Sugar?”
Rafe stared hard at the road. He had many thoughts about you: beautiful, messy, stunning, smiled too much, gorgeous.
“Uh, she seems nice,” he answered, glancing at her through the rearview mirror. “Why?”
“Just wondering!” Josie chirped.
Silence fell between them.
He thought that would be it, and then he heard more whispering. Dread flooded his body. Rafe tweaked the stereo volume higher. They hadn’t caught that you piqued his interest, right? No, that would be ridiculous. They were kids. They would be none the wiser.
At least, he thought so until his niece asked, “Do you think she’s pretty?”
No wonder the Pogues called her Nosy Josie. It all made sense now. And, of course, he thought you were pretty. Who wouldn’t?
Rafe sucked in a breath, scratching his brow. “I’m not answerin’ that.”
Jackson grumbled, “I told you, Josie.”
“You didn’t!”
And a new argument ensued. But for once, Rafe was content listening to their high-pitched shouts because that meant the attention was off him. He didn’t want to be pestered about you any further. If Josie had kept pushing, he feared he would be sent down a rabbit hole, you consuming his thoughts.
But maybe he had already fallen down the rabbit hole. He was just too busy denying it.
Soon, Rafe arrived at their home, and the kids hopped out of his car and ran to their parents. Sarah thanked him for picking them up as John B took them inside—Josie sat on his hip, with Jackson walking beside him. He brushed it off, even offering to pick them up from school more often. His sister looked surprised and a little skeptical, but she didn’t question his change of heart.
While Rafe Cameron didn’t have time for children, he could make time for you.

clearing out my drafts so uh....Simon Riley x reader who thinks she needs plastic surgery :P
CW: uhhhhh plastic surgery, insecurities, simon only knowing how to solve emotions through caveman means, i think that's it
He really hadn't meant to see it.
It's not like he was snooping, or anything. You had told him to look something up on your phone while you were busy cleaning the kitchen, and you were so focused that you didn't notice how still he had grown still as he stared down at those little black words already typed in the search bar.
Breast augmentation before and after
His eyes darted across the screen as he took in the various images that you had been meticulously studying the night before. Hundreds of women with breasts that he couldn't see a problem with, right beside a photo of them looking bright, happy, and pumped up like a little barbie doll.
Clearly you had forgotten to close out the tab. Or clear your history.
Which he couldn't stop himself from scrolling through.
How to increase breast size naturally? Supplements for bigger breasts? Exercises for bigger boobs reddit...How much do boob jobs cost? A trail of insecurity that led you to the final page that he's now staring at.
He feels like he's going to throw up.
Did he say something wrong? Did he not show you how much he loved you? Did someone else say something to you? Did he make you feel undesirable? Maybe he had zoned out and stared at some poor woman's tits without even realizing and you thought he wanted you to-
"Si?" Your voice breaks him out of his spiraling thoughts as you peek your head around the corner, completely unaware of the inner turmoil that's ripping him apart as he stands there like an idiot. "Are they open?"
He blinks slowly at you - his mind is spinning around so fast that all he can manage is a blank stare. "What?"
"Marco's." You say with a huff of amusement, but when he just continues to stare, your eyebrows furrow in confusion as you enunciate your words slowly. "The pizza place. Are they open?"
"I dunno." His tone is gruff, and he's trying to figure out how to say the million thoughts that are swirling around in his mind as you make your way over to him with an amused smile. "Si, what have you been doing this whole-"
"Why are you lookin' at this shit?" He had wanted it to come out a bit more...tactful that that, but he couldn't hold it in any longer. It's in that moment that you realize how tense he looks, and your smile immediately falters as you pause in front of him.
"...the pizza place?" You ask in a small voice, growing more uncertain by the second as he lets out a quiet scoff. It's only when he turns the phone back to you that you see what he's talking about - and your heart drops into your stomach.
"Oh."
"Yeah. Oh."
"I was just-" Your hand extends out to take the phone, but he moves it just out of your reach as his eyes continue to stare into yours. "I was just looking. I'm not actually going to do it." You mumble awkwardly, suddenly feeling too vulnerable to keep looking up at him. You let out a tight little laugh, trying to brush it off like a joke even though you know it's too late for that. "Plus, it's a bit out of my price range, so-"
"I'm not playin' with you, love." And it's true. You've never seen him look so unimpressed and disappointed in your entire relationship. "What even made you look this up, huh? Someone say somethin' to you?"
"No." You feel like you're shrinking under his scrutinizing gaze, but he doesn't let up any - just keeps scrolling through the pictures as he looks between you and the phone.
Another tense sigh. Then, he's murmuring a quiet, "Did I say somethin'?"
"No, Si. Of course not." Your voice grows even more quiet as you reach for his free hand, twiddling with his fingers in some subconscious attempt to soothe him. It seems to work slightly - and he lets out a huff as he drops your phone onto the table to pull you closer.
Your head hits his chest as he wraps his arms around you, and his hand automatically comes up to run through your hair - something he usually does to soothe you, though now it seems to be more for his sake. He presses a couple of kisses to the top of your head as he holds you in silence, trying to gather his thoughts well enough to express his feelings. Words have never been his strong suit. Maybe that's what got him into this mess.
"Gorgeous girl." He murmurs softly against your hair before bringing his hands to your cheeks to tilt your head up to face him. His thumbs brush over the soft skin as his eyes trail over your face so reverently in nearly takes your breath away. "I don't tell you tha' enough, do I? How beautiful I think you are."
"You don't have to tell me, Si...I know you think I'm beautiful." He's never once made you feel bad about your appearance, but it doesn't change all the years you spent hating what you saw in the mirror because you compared yourself to everyone else. "It's not your fault I don't like the way I look-"
"'Course it fuckin' is." He doesn't even let you finish before he's adamantly shaking his head, guilt flooding his features as he looks down at you. "Can't even make my girlfriend see how stunnin' she is. Wha' kind of a man am I, huh? A pathetic fuckin' excuse of one."
A lump begins to form in your throat at the thought of him taking the blame for your insecurities - ones that had bloomed long before you had ever met him. But you were at a loss for words now. He had never seemed so adamant about anything before, and it made your heart thud heavily against your ribs at the realization of just how much he loved you. "Simon..."
"I should be lovin' you so much that this shit doesn' even cross your mind. That's my job, yeah?" His jaw clenches tight as he looks over your face, and you can see a strange look settle over his features - a quiet acceptance of what he's about to do. "And I'm clockin' in. Right now."
Your eyebrows furrow in confusion, but before you can open your mouth to question what on earth he means, he's already bending over to grab you and haul you over his shoulder.
"Simon!" You let out a squeal of surprise as you're suddenly faced upside-down against his back, but you can't help the giggles that burst out of your mouth as he carries you down the hallway towards the bedroom. "What are you doing? Marco's is gonna close!"
"Fuck Marco's. I'm eatin' you for dinner, love."

Two Lines
Pairing: Jake 'Hangman' Seresin x female!reader
The last thing Jake expected to see first thing in the morning was a pregnancy test in the trash can. And he definitely didn’t expect a debate with his wife about what those two lines meant.
Word count: 1.5K
---------------------------------------------------------
It took a lot to shock Jake ‘Hangman’ Seresin.
Not only had he made it through a military academy, he was a combat pilot who’d seen action in two war zones and had medals to back up his claim that he was one of the Navy’s best.
But the sight of the pink-capped test in the bathroom trashcan had him choking on his toothbrush.
Adrenaline shot through him, waking him up from the half-stupor he’d been in. It was still early before your alarm went off. But you’d been restless all night, tossing and turning and grumbling about what a stupid idea it was to get your work-mandated flu shot at the same time as your COVID booster.
“Not sure why you did it,” he’d teased, brushing the hair from your eyes. “You always feel like crap after.”
“I know,” you whined, curling closer to him even as your body ached and your stomach clenched. “I just needed to get it out of the way, and since I don’t have any clients tomorrow, I figured I could call out sick if I needed to.”
But that didn’t explain the pregnancy test in the trash.
After just under a year of marriage, you weren’t actively trying to get pregnant, but neither were you trying to prevent it. Both of you were in agreement that you’d be happy to have kids if it happened, but you were also satisfied with it being just the two of you for a while, or even forever.
Your period being late wasn’t uncommon, especially when you were stressed. And with the clinic officially understaffed and you taking on a larger client panel while trying to balance groups and to promote to a leadership spot, Jake knew you were stressed. For the first time, he’d seen you working on the weekend to catch up on session notes and submit consults, making sure your clients were getting connected to the services they needed.
The test was probably just for peace of mind, he reasoned, forcing himself to finish brushing his teeth while keeping his eyes on the trashcan. It wasn’t the first time you’d taken one, but it was the first time you hadn’t told him about it… that he knew of. And if you’d thrown it away, it had to be negative. You’d stumbled back to bed just an hour ago after using the bathroom, waking him as you collapsed back onto the mattress and declaring that you were calling in sick. When he’d pulled you to his chest and kissed your forehead, he’d felt your low-grade fever.
Just like he’d expected. It was why he’d stopped at the Commissary on the way home from work, grabbing bananas, applesauce, and bread to make sure you had something to eat while wallowing on the couch between naps.
Besides, he knew he’d be joining you on Saturday - he had his appointment to stop at the base hospital and get his mandatory annual flu shot, too. While it didn’t take him out like it did with you, he’d never pass up an excuse to have a lazy weekend.
With a forced nonchalance that he didn’t feel, Jake put away his toothbrush before reaching for the pregnancy test. Turning it, he saw two lines.
Two lines.
Jake stared, mouth dropping open. His eyes darted from the lines to the diagram on the side of the window, explaining how to interpret the results, feeling a strange sensation of excitement and terror at the confirmation.
Pregnant.
You were pregnant.
Confusion tempered his joy as he set the test on the counter and took a step back, pressing the heels of his hands into his eyes to scrub away any lingering sleep. But when his vision cleared, there was no denying it.
Two dark lines.
Grabbing the door handle, Jake forced himself to take a deep breath before walking back into the bedroom. You’d dozed off again, breathing even and face half-hidden by your sleep mask. He’d bought you the first one as a joke when you’d moved in after a week of grumbling when he turned on the lights to get ready for work. While you both left the house at the same time - him to head to the base, and you to the hospital - he enjoyed taking his time with his morning routine, while you preferred hitting the snooze button as many times as possible before sprinting to get ready and out of the house on time.
You groaned when he sat at your hip, planting one hand on the mattress and reaching up to nudge the mask to your forehead. Refusing to open your eyes, you slapped at his hand, “Lea’me alone,” you grumbled.
“You got something to tell me, sweetheart?” he asked, forcing his voice to be even. While he was excited about the pregnancy, if you’d thrown the test away, you might not be.
“‘M not goin’ to work,” you sighed, rolling onto your side and hugging your pillow tightly.
“I know. Anything else?”
“Love you, have a goo’day.” Your words slurred as you started to drift again. When he said your name, a hint of exasperation creeping into his tone, you sighed and rolled onto your back. Kissing the tips of your fingers, you held them up for him. “I feel gross and don’t wanna kiss you in case it’s not the shot.”
“Is that why you took the pregnancy test?” One eye cracked open, and you saw your husband smiling down at you, a slightly manic gleam in his sea-green eyes.
Shrugging, you yawned, “Kinda. But it was negative.” Jake was silent for a long moment, and you felt him place a hand on your stomach.
“Darlin’… the test wasn’t negative.”
“It was.”
Jake barked a laugh. “There are two lines!”
“I know.”
“Two lines is pregnant!”
“Two lines is negative.”
“No, it’s not,” Jake argued. Huffing, you opened both eyes to glare at him.
“I read UAs twice a week at work, Jacob. I know what a negative result looks like.” As the person in charge of the Contingency Management program in your clinic, you administered and read urine drug screens, knowing with a quick glance if there were prescription or illicit substances in your client’s sample. If the two lines popped up for a negative result for their targeted substance - meaning they’d been abstinent - they earned the opportunity to draw for a prize. A single line meant that they had traces of the substance in their system, providing a positive result.
“Maybe for drug tests, but obviously not for a pregnancy test.”
“Move,” you grumbled, bumping your legs against him to get out of bed.
“Where are you going?” Jake asked.
“To prove you wrong.” Chuckling, he stood and smirked when you threw your sleep mask onto your pillow and brushed away the hand he offered to help you out of bed. The bathroom light was still on, and he followed behind you as you picked up the test he’d left on the sink, holding it in front of his face. “See? Two lines. Negative.”
Taking the test, Jake put his thumb over the Not Pregnant example and held it in front of your eyes. “See? Two lines. Pregnant.” He could only smile as your gaze shifted from glaring at him to squinting down at the test - you hadn’t put your glasses on yet. He watched your eyes widen with shock, darting from the instructions to the result window. Your lips parted, but no words escaped as your eyes rose to meet his again. “Say somethin’, sweetheart.”
“Why the FUCK are my POC cups the only damn thing that has a single line as positive?” you demanded.
That startled a laugh out of him, and Jake tossed the test back onto the counter and tugged you into his arms. Your fingers dug into his back, and he could feel you shaking. “You alright, darlin’?”
You were silent for a long moment before sighing, “Just realizin’ that I’m gonna be triple-checking results for a while. It’s gonna make my appointments run so much longer.”
Chuckling, Jake pulled away just far enough to meet your watery gaze. “What about this one? You gonna triple-check it?”
“I mean, you’ve pretty much done it.” An embarrassed smile flit across your mouth. “Is this where you say ‘I told you so’?”
“Pretty sure this is where I say I love you,” Jake replied, leaning down to kiss you softly. Carefully, he backed you up until your ass hit the counter and lifted you onto it. Your legs wrapped around his hips, arms draped across his shoulders as his hands slid under your shirt to wrap around your waist.
“Love you too. You ready to be a daddy?”
“Hell yeah. You ready to be a mama?” The question made you pause, but the steady confidence your husband exuded made you smile. Even if you weren’t quite ready, he would be there to help you get there.
“Yeah,” you said after a moment.
It would take you a couple of weeks to feel confident interpreting the UA results with a glance again, but you even chuckled when you started telling people about the pregnancy, and Jake boasted that he was the one telling you that you were pregnant.
After all, how many fathers got the chance to do that?
---------------------------------------------------------
Author's Note: This little fic has been on my mind since yesterday when I had to fill in last minute for our CM clinic when a clinician called out sick, and had to administer and interpret 2 UAs in 30 minutes, then do brief counseling with the gentlemen before going. I've laughed with my friends before about how our POC cups (the same ones in the graphic above) are one of the only tests where two lines is negative.

if you’re comfortable could you do oscar smut 🤭
GIRL, YOU REALLY GOT A HOLD ON ME…
FORMULA ONE DRIVER X READER

SUMMARY: There is no summary this is literally just smut
WARNINGS: Smut. Y/N usage. Freaky
FEATURING: Oscar Piastri x Reader
YES GAWD
You discovered that when it came to Oscar Piastri, it didn’t take much for him to turn you on.
You felt shameful with the way your eyes were constantly searching his entire form, each part of your brain working together to imagine the nastiness you could get up to together. You could have him whenever you wanted, but waiting until you couldn’t wait anymore was part of the fun.
One evening in particular had sent you over the edge. Oscar just returned home from a workout, his white shirt just slightly see through and sticky from sweat, clinging to his subtly toned figure. Your tongue darted out, licking your lips as you took in the delicious sight before you.
He stretched his strong arms out above his head, and the same shirt rode up, letting you get a peek at both his happy trail and the waistband of his boxers. You were already flooded at this point— Actually, you have been since he walked through the door.
When he sat down, you wasted no time straddling his lap. His hands found your thighs, and his eyes crinkled with mirth as he stared up at you in your elevated position. He looked so innocent, but your thoughts were anything but. You batted your lashes at him every so innocently, your hands rubbing the muscle that connected his collarbone and shoulders. Your honeyed voice asked him, “How was your day?”
Oscar’s thumbs ran over your soft thighs, an innocent act that made you feel exponentially worse. He hummed, a deep grumble in his chest. “Good,” He began, his accented voice slightly hoarse. It always was after an intense workout.
He continued, but you were too zoned out to pay attention to everything he said. You just nodded when you should, but your attention was more pinpointed on the chain around his neck. It was a necklace you bought him for your second anniversary, and he practically wore it everywhere.
“I tried to push m-my… Li-… Limits…” He stuttered, his voice trailing off when you lightly tugged on said chain. He blinked, surprised. When you peered up at him through those thick eyelashes, he cleared his throat to continue. This time with flushed ears. He couldn’t explain why it had such an effect on him, but it did.
You leaned in, your lips finding the pulse of his neck. He was quick to shut his mouth, his once innocent hands now firmly grasping the fat of your thighs. He hummed, and Oscar’s typically steady voice began to shake. “Y/N,” He whispered pathetically.
You trailed your lips to his collarbone before pulling yourself to his lips, letting him enjoy your taste just as you did his. Oscar’s hands traveled upwards, exploring the skin of your stomach as warm palms slid up your shirt. He pulled away to take a deep breath, only to dive back in immediately after.
He was instantly hard, and you could tell, because he’d slowly grind his erection up against you, drawing soft little gasps from your boyfriend. Apparently it didn’t take much for him to start acting up, either. Just a few kisses and he was desperate to be buried inside you.
“C’mon, pretty- Please,” He whispered against your lips, which were now red and swollen from his. He pressed his forehead against yours as he lifted his hips, using one hand to shimmy out of his shorts, and then his boxers followed. You wanted to tease, but you couldn’t wait any longer.
You lifted your hips, and with his help— Which mostly included tearing the fabric of your panties— you managed to free your lower half. He slowly pushed himself inside your hole, throwing his head back around halfway through. “Hold still,” He muttered, and you did.
He could barely handle the sensation, needing just a few seconds to adjust to your tightness. It wasn’t the first time ever, but it was the first in quite awhile. His lips were agape, letting him pant heavily as he pulled you down further, until your hips were flush against his.
“Mnhh, Oscar.” You arched your back against his chest, burying your face into his neck as you slowly lifted your hips, bouncing up and down on his thick cock.
“Fuck, you feel so good…” He normally kept his language clean, but it was impossible with you gripping him so tight. “C’mon, let me see your face,” He grunted into your ear, leaving a sloppy kiss just below it. You pulled your face back, tilting it down to stare at him with that fucked out expression.
He helped you fuck yourself on him, using his strong grip to lift you up and down. His eyelids were fluttering, like he had to hold himself back from cumming too soon. Everything about him was perfect, especially now.
“You’re not usually this sensitive,” You try to tease, but your voice is shaking just as much as— if not more than— his.
“Been too long,” You could tell it was taking everything in him not to ruin the moment, but he really needed that release now. “Fuck,” he cursed under his breath. He pressed his forehead to yours again, this time his mouth just slightly ajar and his eyes squeezed tightly shut.
You could feel him twitching inside you. He’d stop his movements momentarily to collect his bearings, and then continue to thrust. It was like he was edging himself with your hole, trying to make sure you came before him. “Oh, Osc… Y-… Yeah, that feels good-! Just like that,” You pressed yourself close to him, closing your eyes with him. “I’m-”
You didn’t get to finish your sentence. You felt your orgasm wash over you, a pleasured cry being ripped from your throat. That’s all he needed before he finally let himself go, filling you up. He left his forehead against yours, panting like crazy to catch his breath.
“You did so good, Osc.” You muttered as he collapsed back against the couch, pulling you even closer to him. He was still buried inside you, but was beginning to soften at that point. He smiled, his chest still heaving with every breath.
“You’re insatiable.” Especially considering you were already grinding against him, hungry for round two.
Hell, who wouldn’t be?

pairings: yunho x reader
genre: smut and more smut, no plot in sight
word count: 7.9k
The party is in full swing when you arrive. The house bumping with music and every corner decorated for Halloween. You’re late enough that you can just slip in through the back door, and that was the plan from the start. Yunho arrived first, nearly two hours ago, and made excuses for why you were late, for how you might not even make it to the party. No one would see either of you come or go together, so when you both disappeared to play your game no one would ever know. You had come up with the plan in bed, whispered fantasies and what-ifs between the sheets as he rewarded your willingness to try something new with his tongue.
His fantasy is special, and to do it right you can really only do it on Halloween night.
You weave through a throng of drunk acquaintances, searching the crowd for him, but it’s not as easy to find him as you thought it would be. You’re not sure how a six foot something Ghostface killer could hide from you in the crowd of your friend’s house party, but no matter how many rooms you check you can’t see him. Nervousness pits inside you as you check your phone and see nothing. He could be caught up with friends, he could be changing his mind, but you can’t tell if you can’t find him.
Adjusting your very 90s costume, you dart away from the kitchen where a group of your girlfriends are pouring shots and weave your way into the back of the house. Maybe you can call him? Text him? Would that completely ruin the mood of psycho killer stalking? Maybe, but it’s been forty-five minutes and you haven’t so much as seen a sliver of his mask.
You flick through your phone, checking for any new messages, and then scroll to find Yunho’s contact card in your phone. Your finger hovers over the call button as you lean against the quiet hallway wall, and then in your peripheral vision you see it.
A dart of black, something looming, and when you finally turn your head, you see him. Ghostface, standing wide and imposing in the hall, blocking any way past him and back out into the party.
“Spooky,” You sigh, tucking your phone away.
Silently, Ghostface nods his head.
The hair on the back of your arms stands up. This is it.
“What? Are you looking for the bathroom or something?” You take a step or two towards him, leaning into the character you dressed for.
He shakes his head.
“Looking for me?” You bite the inside of your lip to keep from smiling.
Slowly, he nods.
“Mm,” You raise a brow at him, “what’s the line from that movie? You wanna play psycho killer?”
His head tilts slightly to the side and he nods once again.
“And who do I play?”
He takes a step towards you and you fade back.
Fear starts to spread through you, even with it all being pretend, you can’t fight the feeling that your subconscious drums up in your gut.
He takes another step, and then another, and then you’re running.
Spinning on your heel you push deeper into the house, away from the party and towards a line of doors down the hall. Your heart is pounding out of your chest, your stomach a bundle of nervous trembling knots, and your hands are so slick with sweat you can barely grab the door handle of the basement. It’s not as easy to run as it looks in the movies, especially not in a tight skirt and penny loafers, and you skid down the basement stairs taking them two at a time until you slip forwards and crash down onto your hands and knees.
You don’t have time to assess the sudden sharp pain as the skin of your palm drags over the concrete floor though, so you scramble up in a flash and in a panic you weave your way deeper into the basement.
It’s familiar enough to you, your best friend’s parent’s place. You know there’s a tiny half bathroom in the far back corner, a rarely used guest bed against one wall as you descend the stairs, a collection of old video games and movies, and then around the corner to the left more and more basement, more storage, more dusty nooks and crannies to hide. You’re frozen for a split second, trying to decide the best place to go where he won’t find you, but heavy footfalls on the stairs ring in your ears like drum beats and you don’t have time to weigh your options.
You take off towards the bathroom, fumbling with the door again when you reach it.
The masked man behind you doesn’t say anything, but you hear him moving. His feet are sure and quick, the heavy fabric of his robes making a whooshing sound as he darts forwards to try and close the space between your bodies.
A panicked sound leaves your mouth as you tumble into the sink, clocking your hip hard on the porcelain and bracing yourself on the wall. Turning you reach back for the door, if you just get it latched maybe you can give yourself a second to think, to shimmy out of the very small, high set window. Pushing yourself into action you grab the door, he’s so close you can hear his breath, seconds away. Seconds away.
The door stops abruptly as you throw your body against it, six inches from closing. You push again, but it doesn’t budge, and when you look down it’s clear you’ve lost this game. His heavy black boot is firmly set in the door’s path, and you know there’s no chance for escape.
He crowds you instantly, leaving you no time to recover, his body pushing into the cramped space of the bathroom and flinging the door backwards into the adjacent wall. You stumble into the sink and he moves right up against you, the firm length of his body pinning yours in place.
For a moment everything is still, completely and shudderingly still with only the sound of your hitched breathing and thundering heart filling the room. You’re not sure what you should do - beg? Plead? Stay silent and let him do what he wants?
The masked man’s head tilts to the side as if he’s observing you, something you can’t tell through the ghostly plastic of his mask and dead black eyes. You’re trembling for real, hands shaking as they grip the cool porcelain. Ghostface leans into you, one of his gloved hands reaching for your face, a soft brush against your chin at first that turns to pressure as his fingers slide up your jaw to push you face to the side. It’s like he’s studying you, his hand slipping lower and dragging down your throat.
Your breath comes faster, stomach tight.
Ghostface closes his hand around your throat and your eyes widen. He holds you like this for a moment, his other hand locking down over your waist and gripping you tight, pinning you in place.
When he squeezes, panic bubbles through your body.
Yunho’s never choked you before. He’s never even suggested it, despite all your little jokes about how nice his hands would look around your neck. It seemed pretty clear to you that within the bounds of your relationship that was one thing he just wasn’t interested in, but whoever has you in the bathroom knows exactly how to hold your throat and where to press. Part of the fun is not knowing who’s beneath the mask, but your body still locks up, and an anxious voice inside you starts to wonder - what if? It’s not as if Ghostface is that rare of a costume choice, you see dozens of them on the street every year. It’s not inconceivable to think that at this party there would be more than one.
Your heart beats in fluttering fits and starts in your ribcage as your mind turns over this possibility, and then he squeezes. The fight comes back into you full force when you hear him sigh, his hand tightening even more and cutting off your airway. You wriggle in his arms, pushing against his chest and trying to use your hips for leverage, a startled whine ripping from your throat, but fear laces through your body as you shove against him and realize just how immovable he is.
Ghostface releases your throat, the same gloved hand slipping into the back of your hair to hold you steady.
“No!” The word tumbles out of your mouth as soon as you can properly make noise again.
He crowds you more, masked face dipping by your ear, “Shh, shh,”
You freeze.
“Safe word?” Yunho’s voice is a balm in your moment of sudden panic, his tone low and hushed.
“T-treasure,” You manage it, the realization coming back into your body that this isn’t a total and complete stranger, it’s still him. Your fear starts to melt into anticipation.
He gives you a squeeze, just one gentle pulse with his hand on your hip to communicate that he’s heard you, “Color?”
You take a second to assess yourself. This game is intense in a way that you’ve never experienced. Yunho had tried to tell you how your body might react to this kind of manufactured fear, how it would play tricks on you, how even if you knew it was him your body would still have the urge to fight and flee. You knew it, but you didn’t really understand it until this moment.
Yunho’s gloved thumb drags lovingly over your cheek for just a moment, “Color?”
If he has to ask you a third time he’ll end the scene, you know he will, but the brief flicker of tenderness in his touch reminds you of everything you already know about him. He has you. You’re safe. This is a game.
“Green,” You finally answer, “I’m green,”
One more quick pulse to your hip, he’s heard you again. More than that, he’s pleased with you.
His shoulders straighten as he draws to his full height, his body filling the space of the tiny bathroom and caging you in. You swallow tightly, audible in your ears and then he moves fast.
His hands around your waist, lifting you up and then shoving you back until you’re sitting on the lip of the porcelain sink, uncomfortably balanced and pushed back flush to the mirrored wall behind you. You yelp when he moves you, hands scrambling for purchase on something, gripping the sleeve of his black cape in desperation. Fear and anticipation pulse through you, but he doesn’t give you a rest to get your bearings.
He shoves your legs open wide and slots between your thighs and shoves your face to the side until your cheek is squished against the cold mirror, his hand a controlling brace from your jaw to the crown of your head.
“You look so pretty running from me,” He strokes your face, but this time it’s not loving, it's possessive, it’s pure control.
You grip the edge of the sink and whimper.
“Should we play a little game?” He teases, “It’s Halloween, you must like scary movies,”
Your breath quickens, “Y-yeah,”
He drops his voice low, in a mimic of the movie, “What’s your favorite scary movie?”
You’ve heard Yunho do that voice before, lazing on the couch last October when you had yourselves a movie marathon, the day he realized something about your favorite scary movie that turned you on, the day you called him out for being hard during a kill scene. It took a year for you both to work up the courage to actually act on any of those fantasies, but here and now with his mask on and his voice low, you feel that mix of terror and arousal bleeding through your body in a way only he can elicit from you.
You can’t help the little smile that passes over your lips, “Scream,”
“Meta,” He teases, pinching you hard on the thigh, “for every question you get wrong, I’m taking something off you,”
You swallow hard again.
He reaches into his black robes and then you see it, shining in the reflection of the mirror and in your hazy peripheral vision. The glint of a real knife is unmistakable, the cool sharp edge of the steel crystal clear and you can’t stop the actual fear that jolts through you. You jerk in his hold, instinct driving you for a split second, and he pushes your face harder into the mirror.
“Tch,” He makes a disappointed noise with his tongue against his teeth, “the game’s no fun if you don’t play.”
He won’t hurt you, at least not in ways you don’t already like. You have to trust that.
Settling yourself with a slow breath you summon the act he wants, find the fear within yourself and let it inform your words to give him what he wants.
“Please, don’t,” You’re trembling is real, that you know.
He shifts between your legs, drawing the knife closer, shifting it in his hand so he simply presses the cool flat side of the blade against one of your nipples. You hiss at the sensation, tightness building in your gut.
“First question,” He drags the knife a little over your nipple, “What movie franchise is Jason from?”
It’s an actual quiz, of course it is. At least he’s starting off easy.
“Friday the Thirteenth,” You reply fast.
“Correct,” He lifts the knife, and with the blade pointed away from you, he pushes up your tight tshirt until it’s bunched above your breasts.
“I got that right,” You glance down at the way he’s touching you, breaking his own rules already.
“Just getting a better view,” He insists, and then the cool knife is against your nipple again, only the thin fabric of your bralette between skin and steel.
Your body is aching in this position, but you can feel the heat off his body, and the heady tone of his voice from under the mask still has you starting to ache in different places.
“Let’s make this a little harder,” He taps the knife against you and you shiver, “what movie has a group of teenagers being stalked on an island by a killer fisherman?”
“It’s,” You start to answer but he taps the knife again and you jolt, “fuck, it’s I Know What You Did Last Summer,”
You watched it with him two weeks ago. You remember it, clear as day.
“Wrong,” The knife twists, the tip gently skating over the swell of your breast.
“Wait,” You start but he tips the knife under the center of your bra.
“I Still Know What You Did Last Summer,” He clarifies the sequel, “they weren’t on an island in the first movie. I thought you liked scary movies,”
“I,” You press back into the wall as the knife edge kisses your skin, “I… I do,”
“You’re not very good at this,” He twists the knife and drags the sharp edge out so that it severs your thin bra in half, falling open and revealing your breasts to his wandering eyes.
A little gasping sound leaves your lips, a desperate noise you try to bite back, but he hears it.
He hums a soft, amused laugh and suddenly the knife is gone, sheathed and away and he leans into your space again, “You fucking like this, don’t you?”
“No,” You insist, despite the way your stomach is in tight knots.
“Did running away get you hot?” His gloved hand skims over your exposed body, “Do psycho killers make you wet?”
“Fuck,” You whine, “no, no,”
“Liar,” He whispers, and then he delivers a pointed slap to your thigh, “spread.”
Your legs widen instinctively at his command, but he doesn’t reward you or praise you like he normally would, this is different. He reaches under the hem of your taut mini skirt, finding the apex of your thighs, and his fingers gently rub up and down from the base of your slit to your clit. A tiny gasp bubbles out of your throat.
“Are you afraid?” He all but growls.
Your stomach flips and his hand tightens in your hair, “Y-yes,”
“Tell me you don’t want this,” He finds the edge of your panties and drags them to one side.
“I don’t want it,” You answer him, body shaking now.
“Tell me to stop,” One gloved finger presses into your entrance, the softness of the leather and the warmth of his skin beneath it making you tremble.
“Stop,” You beg, “please, please, stop,”
“Why would I?” He slowly pushes inside, stretching you around his finger, “When I know how wet being fucked by a stranger in a mask makes you,”
A tense thready sound pulls from your throat as he adds a second finger.
“If you don’t want this,” He pulses his hand once, forcing both fingers deep into your slick channel, “why are you panting like a dog in heat?”
“N-no,”
“If you don’t want it,” He whispers, “don’t come.”
Your eyes shut as his hand starts moving, a steady pulse of his gloved fingers inside your aching cunt, curled just right in the way he knows gets you off fast. A pumping drag against your g-spot, the sound of his heavy breath, the unmistakable sensation of your own wetness making a mess between your thighs.
“Looks like you want it to me,” He adds the circle of his thumb against your clit and you jerk in his hold.
“Stop, fuck,” Your nails dig into his forearm.
“You don’t want me touching you, but you’re soaking my fingers,”
“N..No, no,” You babble, heat pooling in your gut.
“Fight it,” He pumps his fingers faster, drumming against your sweet spot, “don’t come,”
You hiss sharply, pleasure dropping low in your belly, the sensation of his gloves and his hot hand too much to bear.
“Moaning like you want it,” He laughs, pulling his hand suddenly out from under your skirt and yanking your head back to center.
You yelp at the position change and the sudden lack of contact but he doesn’t make you wait for long.
“Open,” He smacks your cheek lightly.
Your mouth falls open and he shoves both gloved fingers between your lips. You choke against the suddenness, at the way he presses down on your tongue, blinking to clear the haze from your eyes.
“Suck.”
You shiver, your lips closing over his digits, the sharp taste of leather mixed with your fluids assaulting your senses and you can’t fight the moan, the way your eyes drift shut as you swirl your tongue.
He hums, pleased, “Does it hurt?” He asks.
His question doesn’t make sense, and you blink your eyes back open to look up at the cool passiveness of his ghostly mask.
“Pretending you’re not a whore?” He clarifies and your mouth stills over his fingers. He pulls them out, delivering one more pointed slap to your cheek, and dives back down to plunge them back into your aching cunt, “Moaning like that, your nipples rock hard, and this pussy,”
You choke, a bubble building in your core as he abuses your slick channel again.
“Clenching around my fingers, sucking me in,” He chuckles, “I can feel you, baby,”
“Fuck, fuck,”
“Hold back,” He doubles his efforts between your thighs and you keen, “if you don’t want it, tell me to stop, don’t come,”
“Stop!” You whine, giving him exactly what he wants, “Please, please,”
“No,” His thumb rubs fast, his hand practiced at making you fall apart at the seams, “you come, you keep your eyes open, and you come all over my fucking hand,”
Your breath is fast, heart pounding, and you feel the cord tightening in your belly in a way that makes you want to rub yourself back up into his touch but he has you pinned, stuck, at his mercy just like he wants.
“Come,” His voice is clear, authoritative, and familiar. Like a trained response, your body releases and cracks open into a desperate orgasm, crumbling in his hands as you pitch forward onto his shoulder and grind your hips down to take the last little bit of what you need from his fingers.
When his hand stills, you realize you’re still clinging to him and you jerk back, one hand over your mouth as you try to recover your breath.
He steps back, his hands sliding off you and body slotting out from your thighs. You can’t see Yunho beneath the mask, but you know he’s looking. You can feel his hot gaze sliding over your body and taking in every wet and shaking inch of you. Your body is throbbing with need, but the game isn’t done, he hasn’t even made you touch his cock yet, and you know there’s no way you’re making it out of this basement without that.
“Tell me again how you don’t like it,” He finally says.
You shiver.
“Cat got your slutty little tongue?” He prompts you again, voice hardening.
You swallow hard, finding your words, “I didn’t like it,”
“Mhm,”
“I d-don’t want you to touch me,” You lie.
“Yeah?” He teases, “Well then run,”
“W-what?” Your eyes flick up to the impassive plastic of his mask.
“If you didn’t like it, why are you still sitting there?” He takes a step to the side, clearing your path to the door and you slide off the edge of the sink, your loafers making a click onto the tile floor.
You swallow hard, eyes darting out to the rest of the basement.
“Come on,” He teases, and you can hear the sick smile in his voice, “try to get away,”
You look between him and the room ahead of you again.
He leans forward and you shiver, his gaunt stretched mouth at your ear again, “I can’t fuck you if I can’t catch you,” his gloved fingers yank your top down over your exposed breasts and he chuckles, “better run fast.”
You spring forwards, adrenaline pumping through your body and blood rushing in your ears. Leaping out of the bathroom he gives you a couple steps to get a head start, but he’s so much bigger than you, his stride so much longer, and he closes the distance with ease as you scramble in mock terror to get to the steps.
Yunho’s arms close around you, hauling you up off your feet and against his chest, his touch rough and probing as he drags you up into the air.
“No!” You shriek, “Fuck!”
“You think I’d really let you go?” He laughs, “After that?”
“Fuck you!” The words bubble up out of your mouth.
“That’s the idea,” His hand slides down your belly, closing over your cunt and cupping you tightly.
Your body is reacting before your mind, and you jerk in his hold, kicking back your leg and catching him in the shin with the flat heel of your shoe.
He groans and wrenches you higher in the air, “Keep struggling,” he pants, “I like it,”
You twist again, trying to free one of your arms, but he has them pinned tightly to your body, “Get the fuck off me!”
“Not a fucking chance,” He takes two wide steps to the mattress and then tosses you down.
You collapse onto the bed, the old and rarely used springs creaking under your weight, and your scramble forwards in some kind of an attempt to get your bearings, but he’s on you just as fast. He yanks you back with a hand around your ankle and in a flash he’s on top of you.
He presses one hand firmly between your shoulder blades, keeping you pinned face down to the bed, and then his body weight drops down as he straddles the backs of your thighs. Your hands curl into the bedding beneath you, rough sheets and scratchy camp blankets, nothing soft and soothing to take a moment of comfort in.
His free hand wanders, searching your body slowly. The sound of the party raging upstairs drowns out any competing noise, but you can still hear his heavy breath against the mask and your pounding heart, the sound of anticipation thick in the air around you.
Yunho presses his hips forwards and you feel the thick hard length of his cock through his costume nestled against your backside.
“Look at you,” He palms your ass, “shaking for me,”
A whimper leaves you as his fingers dig into your back.
“Do I scare you, baby?” He delivers a harsh slap to the back of your thighs and you yelp, “Are you fucking terrified?”
Another slap leaves you trembling and you hide your face in the mattress, pressing your eyes shut tight. You love when he touches you like this and he knows it. You bite down hard on your lip to keep from whining, wetness pooling in your core. He wanted you scared, he wanted you fighting, you can’t give in just because his glove on your stinging skin feels like sin.
He groans, his cock pressing down harder to your ass and you feel both his hands slide from your hips up to your back and back down again until he has a grip on your waist.
A whimper slips out from between your lips.
Yunho freezes above you, his thumbs massaging a quick circle into your lower back, “Color?”
“Green!” Your voice is muffled by the bedding but you know he heard it.
He groans, pulsing his hips to rut his cock against you again.
Even between layers of fabric, you can feel the heat of him, throbbing and ready for you. Your mouth waters as you picture it, cockhead leaking precum and Yunho’s familiar hand wrapped around the base as he directs it to your mouth.
“Little slut,” He chuckles and it pulls you straight out of your mental fantasy, “rubbing that ass on a stranger’s cock,”
Your stomach clenches, and you twitch under him.
“That’s fucked up,” He drops his body weight over you, one hand pushing your head to the side as he leans over you, “you’re so fucked up, aren’t you?”
Your breathing is fast, a thready sound in your throat.
“Aren’t you?” His voice is low, a shade away from a growl, and he rocks his hips again to rub his cock against you.
“N-no,” You try to shake your head but his hand tightens against your scalp.
“Liar,” He keeps grinding against you, his free hand snaking underneath your bodies to grope your breast, “I know a needy whore when I see one,”
You moan into the sheets as he tweaks your nipple, tears springing to your eyes as he palms you, taking you apart with every touch.
“Let’s see how you like this,” He pinches your nipple once more and you squeal at the sharp sensation that rockets through your chest, a sharp line down to your clit, and then he slides back and shuffles back to sit up over your thighs.
He pushes the stiff fabric of your mini skirt up over your ass and then you feel the cold metal again.
You jerk underneath him, and he tuts softly, the sharp edge of the weapon gently dragging over the curve of your ass cheek.
“Tell me,” He grips your flesh tightly with one hand, painfully pinching, “do you still like scary movies now that you’re in one?”
You shake your head, a whimper on your lips when the knife slips under the edge of your panties, “P-please, don’t,”
He yanks the knife up and splits one side of your panties with a taut snap of fabric, “Please?” He taunts, “Please?”
You sob softly in response.
“Is ‘please’ all you can say?” He delivers a sharp smack to your exposed ass check and you jerk under him.
“I can’t,” You shake your head into the sheets, “I can’t,”
He sighs, and you feel the knife shred the other side of your underwear and then you hear the sound of the blade clattering to the floor. With both hands free he palms your exposed flesh, squeezing you almost painfully and inspecting your exposed body.
Shivers run through you, and you try to hold yourself still for his touches.
“Which hole should I fuck first, hmm?” His fingers search you, probe you.
Your body locks up tightly, a gasp on your lips. You hadn’t discussed that, and you shake your head.
“Scared?” He ghosts his fingers over your rim.
“Please,” It’s all you can manage.
“Beg me,” He presses down with his thumb, “beg me not to fuck your ass if you’re so scared.”
You scramble in the sheets but he has you stuck, “Please don’t, don’t fuck me like t-that, you’re too big, it’s too,”
He massages one cheek and hums, “What should I do then?”
“What?” You crane to look back at him, at the masked man pinning you down.
“Beg,” He says it like he’s bored, like it’s obvious, “beg me to put it somewhere else, or I will fuck this pretty ass open and make you say thank you.”
Heat floods your belly, your body a sizzling live wire, and you fall right into step with a heady whine, “Please, fuck my pussy,”
“Again,”
“Fuck my pussy, please, I’m begging you,” Your voice sounds needy and strange even to your own ears, “I need it inside me, g-give it to me please, fuck my pussy, please,”
“Better,” His hands disappear into his robed costume and then he pushes forwards, his cock finally free and sliding up and down your slit to find your aching entrance.
“Y-yes,” You drop your head back down to the bed and in one sharp thrust, he pushes his thick length all the way inside you until his hips are flush with your ass.
Yunho groans, bracing himself with one hand on the back of your neck and the other on the bed beside you, the mattress creaking with every shift, “Needy pussy,”
“Fuck,” You moan.
“Greedy,” He punctuates his words with a sharp thrust, starting to pick up the pace now in earnest, “gripping my fucking cock like that,”
All you can do is hold on, bite down on the sheets and let him use you, focus on the sensation of his impossibly hard cock driving in and out and in and out.
“Are you crying for me? Hmm?” He rolls his hips, the fabric of his costume dragging against you as he fucks into you faster.
Your eyes are wet, pleasured tears bubbling up and you nod, a tiny sob passing through your lips.
“Good cocksleeve,” He presses down harder with his hand on your neck, forcing you lower into the mattress.
Your back arches instinctively, and you whine at the angle change. A few more thrusts and you’ll be done for, you know it.
“That’s it,” He pants, voice muffled by the mask, “come for me,”
“C-close,” The words tumble out.
“Come for me,” He stays steady with his thrusts, pushing your orgasm closer and closer, “come for me, come for me,”
“Ah!” You fist the sheets, legs starting to shake, “Ah, fuck, fuck!”
“Come on this stranger’s fucking cock,” He grunts, shuddering above you, his fingers digging into your skin and no doubt leaving a bouquet of bruises behind.
So close to the edge, just a little more will tip you over, and you whine, “Harder,”
He gasps, forcing his pace to clap harder, deeper, and it only takes two pointed thrusts of his cock into the deepest parts of you to send you careening over the edge.
“Coming,” You twist beneath him, moaning into your fist, “oh, god,”
“Fuck,” He curses as your muscles clench and flutter around him, “fuck, oh fuck,”
Your orgasm has your body locked up and shuddering, but when he pulls free suddenly you gasp into the bedding, “N-no, no, please,”
He yanks off any scrap of clothing you have on with frantic hands and then rolls you in the sheets so that you’re lying on your back spread open for him. You try to form a sentence, to ask what’s happening but suddenly he’s tearing off his mask and the world slows to a stop.
Yunho’s sweaty, flushed pink in the cheeks eyes blown wide with need, his plush lips parted and his chest heaving with labored breaths. In a flash he’s stripping off the costume, peeling off his gloves and kicking off his boots.
“Come here,” He spreads your thighs wider and presses down over you, his cock finding your entrance with ease as he sheaths himself again in one thrust.
You moan sharply and wrap your arms around his shoulders as he collapses over you.
“Need you,” He pumps his hips, “have to have you,”
Pleasure crackles up your body, “Yours,” you nod, “I’m yours,”
He presses his mouth to yours, kissing you hot and hard, “Fuck,” he groans.
Yunho gathers you closer, your slick bodies now flush together as he rocks into the warm cradle of your hips, “never heard you moan like that,”
Your walls clench around him.
“You wanted me to do this,” He groans between messy kisses, “you wanted to run,”
You nod, lips pressed together.
“You’re so fucking perfect,” He pumps into you harder, like he’s desperate to get as deep as possible, “my dirty girl,”
“Oh, fuck,” Your head falls back against the bed, a pleasured moan caught in your throat.
“My little fucking slut,” He groans, tipping your hips open wider, his hands tight on your skin, “so desperate to come on stranger cock,”
You whine sharply, nails digging into his back.
“Say it,” He threads a hand through your hair and tugs your head back up roughly, “say it,”
“Yes!” You whine, “Yes, I-I need it,”
His gaze darkens, the cool mask of your dominant returning, and he slaps your cheek sharply, just enough to give you a pointed sting, “Need what?”
Your brain is soft, fuzzy with pleasure, but the slap focuses you and you blink, “Need to come,” you pant as he thrusts into you, “on a stranger’s cock, need you to… fuck, need you to take it,”
He nods, lips parting open in pleasure, “That’s right,”
Your stomach tightens, pressure dropping low in your belly and you can’t stop feeling the way his cock punches into the deepest parts of you over and over again. Your eyes close tight and you hold onto him, one of your hands slipping up to his neck to tangle into his black hair.
“Oh,” You’re so close, almost there, “Y-Yunho, oh, god,”
His hips thrust forward once more, burying his cock impossibly deep and then he stops. That’s when you realize your critical mistake.
“Is my cock so good you forgot your manners?” He says and your eyes fly open.
You don’t know what to say, you don’t know how to recover, your head is too mixed up to know what’s up and what’s down and you’ve never played a scene where he’s a stranger before. You’re used to your rules, you’re used to calling him sir or daddy or master, but now you feel unmoored.
“Now you don’t get to come,” He leans back, taking your wrists in his hands and pushing them down flat to the bed.
You know better than to protest, but you’re sure he can feel you shaking.
He drops closer, pinning you open with the weight of his body, his head nudging yours to the side, “Maybe you’ve forgotten who’s in control here, baby,”
Liquid heat spreads through your body and you shake your head just a little.
“So drunk on cock,” He bites at your ear, “you forgot you don’t want this,”
Your pussy tightens, and you hear him chuckle.
“Filthy,” He maneuvers your arms above your head so that he can close both your wrists together in one of his large hands, “fucked up little fucktoy,”
Your eyes roll back and you fight the urge to move your hips, his words enough to put you on the precipice.
A sharp slap stings over your exposed breast, your nipple hardening even more and Yunho draws his hips back before slamming forwards, driving you deeper into the squeaking mattress. At the painful stretch, the sharp sting inside, you do cry out.
“Does it hurt?” He thrusts again, just as hard.
You struggle under him, a little for play and a little because it does hurt, but you love the way he groans when you please him and you can’t stop, “Y-yes,”
“Too bad,” His hand claps over your mouth and then he starts to fuck you again for real.
Pleasure and pain in equal parts spike through your body, a perfect combination to get you right up to the edge of orgasm, but you know you’re not allowed. You moan into his hot hand, the sound feral and taut, tears gathering in your eyes and slipping down your temples into your hairline.
Yunho slides the hand on your wrists up to clasp your hands together palm to palm, still pinning you to the bed but offering you a line of communication you desperately need in a scene like this. He doesn’t stop, but his eyes find yours in the dim light of the basement and he squeezes your hand once. You squeeze back just once, your silent sign to keep going.
He keeps driving into you, cursing every time you moan and clench around his thick length, the mask of dominance slipping again as he starts to rut into you with artless, needy thrusts. He’s chasing his own pleasure now, with no regard for your own release.
“No one’s coming to help you,” He groans, “you’re mine,”
You can’t hear everything he says, not with your mind spinning so close to a forbidden orgasm and his pants and groans punctuating every few words, but you hear it when he says he’s coming inside you.
Thrusting deep, he spills himself hot in your belly, hips grinding into yours to milk himself dry as he moans into your ear. The bubble of your own pleasure builds with every rock of his body and you whimper into his hand, tears spilling over as you try not to let it take you.
Yunho’s hand pulls away from your mouth and suddenly his fingers are rubbing fast and firm on your swollen clit, his cock still buried deep.
“Ah, n-no, please,” You grip his hand tightly and lock your eyes closed, trying to pull yourself back from the edge, “please,”
“Fuck,” He groans, overstimulated.
You’re going to come, there’s no way to hold back if he’s going to torture you like this and you thrash under him, “I can’t,” you’re sobbing in earnest now, “I can’t hold it,”
“Shit,” He curses sharply, “come, sweetheart, come, I’m so sorry,”
At his permission, your pleasure rips through you, a hot slice of rapture rocketing up your body. Your ears are ringing, black dots over your vision, and your body wrenches up with tight shakes in a way that only a soul shattering orgasm could do. You vaguely hear your own voice, a babbled string of ‘thank-yous’ and sobs, but it feels like someone else. All you know is warmth, and the deliciousness of earned pleasure.
When consciousness starts to creep back in, the first thing you feel is Yunho’s gentle hands on your cheeks. He’s murmuring something, but it takes your mind a second to process, and you blink your eyes open slowly to find his face.
“Hey,” He’s back to soft and warm, your tender lover, “oh, there you are,”
“Mm,” You manage.
He looks you over slowly, warm brown eyes flicking over your skin, “Does anything hurt, sweetheart?”
You shake your head, still boneless and trembling in the scratchy blankets.
“Hmm?” He nudges you, pushing for a verbal response.
“I’m okay,” You respond, but your voice is small.
Yunho, so attuned to you, looks back up and shifts up the bed to meet your eyes, “Feeling floaty?”
“Mm,” You nod, recognizing distantly that the intensity of your play tonight pushed you right into subspace.
“Ah,” He smiles warmly, “come here,”
He gathers you close, arms wrapping around you as he tucks you into his chest and pulls the plaid camp blanket up higher over both of your naked bodies. His skin feels so essential, a necessity like eating or breathing, and you nuzzle into his warm chest.
“You’re okay,” He soothes you, stroking your back, “you’re safe, you’re safe with me,”
A heavy breath releases from your chest.
“That’s it,” He kisses your forehead, “breathe with me, relax with me,”
Your muscles release one by one.
“That was just a fantasy,” He soothes you, easing the knotted up feelings in your body with practiced words, “it was just pretend,”
You nod.
“Just pretend,” He murmurs, lips tender against your forehead, “none of that was real, nothing I said. I love you, and I will always keep you safe, sweetheart,”
Your fingers relax, and you realize how firmly you were gripping his arms.
“There you go,” He murmurs, “I’ve got you,”
“Yunho?” You manage, your body feeling heavy once again as you start to center.
He shifts, cupping your cheek as he leans back to get a good look at you, “Right here,”
“H-hey,” You give him a lazy smile.
He nods, brushing your cheek with his thumb, “Tell me where you are?”
“Basement at the party,” You answer.
“Good,” He nods, “now tell me who you’re with?”
“You, Yunho,” You reply, practiced now at the routine he uses to help ground you out of the scene and bring you back into reality.
“Good,” He continues, “tell me three things you can see,”
You glance around the room, “Old playstation, bicycle,” you look back to him, “your necklace,”
He smiles as you touch the silver chain around his neck, “Good,”
You stretch your stiff limbs in his arms and try to snuggle back into his hold but he’s not done yet, especially after a scene that new and that intense.
“Any pain?” His hands slide over your body.
“No,” You assure him, “a little sore, but I feel good,”
He nods, but keeps looking you over anyway. When he turns your hands in his and finds your scratched palms a little line forms between his brows, “What’s this?”
You look down at the red skin, a few shallow cuts here and there, “I fell,”
“Fell?” His brow goes high with alarm, “when?”
“When I was running, I took the stairs too fast,” You tell him honestly, “but it doesn’t hurt, I promise,”
His fingers trace over the broken skin and he nods, “You promised you’d call the scene if you got hurt,”
For how rough this man can be with you, for how many times he’s bruised you and made you bleed, he never fails to surprise you at just how tender and soft he is outside of the bedroom.
“Baby,” You close your fingers over his, “you promised you’d trust me to know my own limits, I’m not hurt, I got a little scrape,”
His lips close as he considers your words and then he nods, leaning in to kiss each of your palms warmly, “I want to disinfect these at home,”
“Okay,” You murmur.
“Anywhere else?”
“Mm-mm,” You shake your head.
“But sore?” He confirms.
“A bit,”
His fingers find your jaw, massaging the muscle there, “When we get home, we’ll run a warm bath. I’ll take care of all your aches, I know I was rough with you,”
You sigh pleasantly, relaxing into the warmth of his hand and he nods, dipping his face towards yours and capturing your mouth in a soft kiss.
“You did so perfect for me, sweetheart,” he says softly, voice threaded with emotion, “I’m so… is it too lame to say honored? I… you were so amazing, and you trusted me like that and I,”
“Yunho,” You smooth back his hair and pull him closer, “I’m alright,”
His eyes flick over your face, “Yeah?”
“Yes,” You give him the clarity he needs to know he didn’t hurt you, “you made me feel very safe, even though I was kind of terrified,”
He stays quiet, like he’s gauging the honesty of your words.
“Even when I was scared,” You lean in, kissing him quickly, “I knew you wouldn’t take it too far, and you checked in with me. I’m okay, I liked it, I love you,”
“You didn’t push yourself too hard for me?” He always worries about that, the double edged sword of a submissive who’s desperate to please.
“No,” You smooth your hand over his cheek, “I liked it alot,”
He nods and snuggles you closer, his fingertips coasting up and down your back softly. He’s quiet for a few minutes, just letting you both come down as easy as you can with thrumming house music upstairs.
“You liked it?” He finally confirms, carding his fingers through your hair.
You nod, “A lot,”
“What I said,” He kisses the top of your head, “during, about you liking it, that was fantasy too, you know that right?”
You’re quiet, taking in his words.
“There’s nothing wrong with it,” He continues softly, “there’s nothing wrong with you for wanting it, all of that was pretend, okay?”
“I know,” You kiss his chest, nodding against his shoulder.
“I love you,” He squeezes you, “you know that too, right?”
You smile, wiggling up in his arms to see his face, “I do,” you kiss him softly, “I love you too,”
He nods and sighs, “I lost my head a little at the end there,” he admits, “I didn’t communicate well when you needed it, I’m sorry about that.”
Your brows knit together in confusion.
“I should have given you permission sooner,” He explains, brushing your cheek with his thumb, “I forgot myself in the scene, I didn’t mean to push you so hard.”
“Oh,” You smile, “Yunho, I’m alright,”
“I know you are,” He dips in for a kiss, “but I’m still sorry,”
“Thank you,” You murmur, pressing your lips back to his, staying warm and still and soft in this moment together, “I know you’ll always take care of me,”
He nods, his broad hand brushing down your hair.
“How was the party?” You nudge him a little.
He smiles, “Fine,” he shrugs, “I was too focused on looking for you, I think everyone thinks something’s up with me.”
“I’m sure it’s fine,” You laugh.
“Mm,” He nods, “and now I disappeared and we made a mess of this basement,”
“Fuck, I can’t believe you cut my underwear off, how am I supposed to get out of here,”
“I brought backups,” He grins wide, proud of himself for thinking that far ahead.
“You’re a genius,”
“There is a back door out of the basement though, right?” He looks up around the room trying to find one.
“Yeah,” You reach out, pointing around the back corner, “why?”
“It’s extremely obvious that you’ve been fucked within an inch of your life,” He presses a quick kiss on your forehead and stretches next to you, so casual about the way he just rearranged your insides, “and I’m not so sure you’re going to walk straight,”
You laugh sharply and shake your head, “Take me home,”
“Scary movies on the couch?” He squeezes your thigh as he rolls away, searching for his clothes.
You shiver, “Maybe, that might be too close to home,”
Nudging your knee he smiles, “Don’t worry, baby, it’s just a movie.”

"Tell it to move."
"Tomura-"
"That's my spot."
"When have you ever sat in my lap?" You ask, continuing to scritch behind your cat's ears. She purrs louder, like she's rubbing it in his face.
Shigaraki sneers at her. "I put my head there and you touch my hair. Make it go somewhere else."
"You always throw a fit when I touch your hair," you smirk. You know he likes it despite his protests, but it's always fun getting him to admit his love of your affection for him. "And she just wants some loving. Why don't you come sit next to me and I'll pet you too?"
"I'm not an animal," he scoffs.
You shrug. "Suit yourself." You kiss her tiny forehead and she rubs her face across your cheek, scenting you to mark her claim.
Shigaraki pouts on the other end of the couch, grumbling away about neglect as he plays his switch, eyes darting over to see if you've gotten rid of the beast yet. She makes biscuits in your lap and stares him down, daring him to try something with her, knowing it'll only make you baby her more.
"It's glaring at me," he points out.
"You're glaring back," you point out.
Your boyfriend huffs. A few minutes later he's moving beside you, his head finding your shoulder and waiting for your free hand to come up and stroke his hair.
Your cat starts growling at him but you shush her and scratch her favorite spot, right on her chest, to calm her down.
"See? Not so bad," you say to both of them. Both their heads turn to look away from you in protest, but remaining in the petting zone. You can't help but laugh, giving them each a little kiss. They'll get over their feud, you think. Eventually.
