Talking about heroes and heroic deeds and spotlights and all, many people seem to forget that in that sense Shadow is actually really damn modest (out of everything).

Like, if you look at it: he goes out of his way to make sure nothing disturbs the world's peace, he helps out when he's asked (mostly, when his help is REALLY needed) even if he has a thing or two to say on the matter or he has his own separate goals (god the times he's helped EGGMAN of all people, see Sonic Rivals series for example) - and he doesn't ask for anything in return. He doesn't need recognition or gratitude or reward of any sorts - he just does what he thinks is a right thing to do (yes, his methods may be unconventional at times but that's just how it is, he is an ANTIhero after all, he's not Sonic, he's been through some shit to make him a bit jaded, plus he's not perfect despite being The Ultimate Lifeform).

Shadow may seem cold and unsociable - but he's not heartless. He may look like he doesn't care - but that's just a facade, he wouldn't have done shit if he didn't.

He's been hurt deeply in the past but he still keeps his promise to protect this world from harm. His heart is in the right place.

Shadow doesn't need recognition - but damn he deserves one.

There's so many reasons to be sad that opera omnia ended, but the main thing I really wanted to see if it had kept going was if they were ever gonna add hilda 😭 there's so much potential with her but ff2 alone didn't do her enough justice and agh!! she could've been so cool!!!

#its cool that they added minwu and im sure that made more sense since death was a pretty major theme in dffoo #but i wanted hilda so much more :( fdusjafds #i didnt even make it to the part where minwu gets involved but im partial ok hilda deserves some attention #imagine if hilda and the 16 cast had been added in time.... she could've had an fr ability with cid or clive... resistance leaders and all #dissidia final fantasy opera omnia #actually now that i think about it i wouldve loved to see everyone in the ff2 and 16 cast interact #out of all crossovers you can get with 16 i think that would be the most interesting one with all the similar themes and story elements

Hating a fictional character is one thing. Making shit up about said fictional character is another. But it's all stacking up on them now and they're disgusting. I could make an itemised list of the things they've said and done, but I'm not even going to entertain them anymore because they don't deserve any attention.

I love blue beetle and its message and I wish more people had watched it and I understand that the lack of promotion both because of the strikes and because the studios don't give a shit has affected it negatively and the role that racism/xenophobia play in people's disinterest towards the characters in general BUT PLEASE let's also not forget about superhero fatigue

#i keep seeing people complain about the marvels and blue beetle flopping like: we finally got representation and people aren't showing up #and honestly have they considered that these movies (although valuable stories) are being made in part as a last ditch attempt at relevancy #marvel didn't make the Black Widow movie when it thought it had something to lose which ironically would've been a better statement than #those post-mortem crumbs they tossed at us with it #black adam shang chi blue beetle eternals and whatever else... people forget these studios need audience more than the audience needs them #they're not doing it cause representation suddenly matters (and I don't mean creators and especially not poc I mean the suits)#they're doing it cause they have something to gain and nothing to lose that they're aren't losing already (attention/public interest)#and above all else: money #so sure it's upsetting that one of my favorite superheroes is not getting the love he deserves but look at the market baby #we're fucking tired and these crumbs don't help and the political climate is a mess #studios wave diversity on our faces and even preach some good messages but then they go and put their money where exactly?#hm.#blue beetle #marvel #dceu

This whole scene had me more streessed and scared than any thriller and you can call me weak for it if you want. Im trying to sell it to you now through ryo's performance but really you guys should just watch i7 already without many spoilers cuz these snipets just arent doing it justice

#this was after like +20 episodes of having seen ryo gain more power and destroy careers. only to finally get his villain origins and #theyre not at ALL justifiable. if anything i love i7 even more for that. scariest villain you can have is an entitled 30 yo manchild with #connections in high places. he doesnt need or deserve a deep misunderstood backstory #sure he didnt get enough attention from his parents. and? neither did any of the other characters #i was gonna say 'you dont see yamato killing people' but you do actually you see him choking yuki #and sogo threatening to kill a thief. but it's not the same. you get it #im really not saving myself or any of these characters here. i promise it's a really good anime
