More asks under cut! Yippee!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
@scarftale-bryan Trip for trio right? If so, I'm working on a comic for that ;0 But to help answer, I've head cannoned Elesa to originally be from Sinnoh. She and the twins didn't have the greatest first meeting, but, well, you see how they turn out later in the future so all that starts subpar ends pretty well. @bat-in-disguise NICE NAME. VERY WOOBAT THEMED. Second of all AYYYY this is where I resurrect the shambling corpse of this fandom. Please. I desperately want to have more on the train men. @mynamesaplant AH,,, YOU READ MY ONE SHOT,,, Okay look. Look. I love drawing comics as much as the next person. But if there's an interest towards fanfiction maybe I'll write a bit more... HMMM. HMMMMMMMM. (But anyways THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS! They keep the hearth cozy.) @dracally3 Don't worry about the rambles! If you wander through my ask box, you'd see I ramble. A lot. That out the way-- I'm sorry to hear about the drama! Man. I got into submas towards the tail end, which I'm a bit sad about (wish I got to interact with some of the bigger creators, but they moved on to other hyperfixations and I respect that). Drama's scary though, so maybe it's for the best I dodged the entire canonball. I'm glad my silly little characterizations of found family are healing! And I wish you the best too-- here's to happy futures ahead free of drama and full of shenanigans. @saffalilac AYYY Togekiss is so cool! I (heh) also only drew volo's togekiss once but the fact you're the second person to talk about how much you love them makes me chuckle. That in mind, here's a doodle.
Tumblr media
@chime-of-bells Hello! I remember your ask about saying how much you liked togekiss in my style. Drew some togekisses and thought you'd like them too :) @impossiblynoisyrebel AYYYY I LOVE drawing the eel dog lamprey dragon thing. Just. A tube with teeth. And giant eyes. and lovely fins. And bioluminescence!! Who doesn't love that? @onimusha095 Look look your local floating nightlight has SOME manners. (But also, Ingo and Litwick do come to an agreement at somepoint on who the ghost type can actively chew on. Emmet's fine with it. Elesa, who has less experience with Litwick's everything, probably would not be less fine with it, and Ingo really doesn't want to loose a friend.)
@magicfeatherbean4 Hello I see you're back! (I'm fine with this. I like snail mail from folks hhehe.) That out the way-- oh yeah they're DEFINITELY getting into fisticuffs when the mood strikes. And uhh Emmet starting battles only for Ingo to finish them off? Mercilessly? Without pause? Yes. YES. I am EATING this headcannon rn. Shuffling this into the comic ideas as we speak.

Lampent Facts
Tumblr media
(My art :D)
-The scientific name for Lampent is "Lucerna Fatum" which roughly translates to "Foolish lantern"
-Lampent are attracted to places with high death counts, so they often appear near hospitals. They're not allowed in most of them though, since they'll scare the patients
-Lampent are solitary Pokemon, and this behaviour can even extend to its trainer
-These Pokemon are omens of death across the world. This association is so strong that many lanterns in graveyards are modeled after them
-While it's not uncommon, Lampent don't often hide in cities anymore with the creation of modern streetlights. They'll often hide in the older parts or the outskirts of the city instead
-While these Pokemon are said to eat human souls, many moth pokemon are also attracted to them and they have been known to absorb their souls too
-Their "arms" are actually classified as tentacles
Tumblr media
-While Lampent are fire types, they don't do well in hot environments and prefer to live in cool airy environments
-Lampent variants are very common, even have varying appearances in the same region! Lapent resemble modern Street lamps are popping up more
-You can tell when a Lampent is stealing your life-force by how large their flame is. Lampent with Larger flames are probably stealing your life force, but when they're flame is small and dull, it isn't
-Lampent are fully nocturnal. Don't push your Lampent too hard during the day
-They're watchful and prefer not to get into any fights. They tend to flee when they sense danger
-You can scare away a lampent that is following you by surprising it, throwing things at it, or making a lot of noise. This will most likely scare them off and they'll leave
-Despite the flame in their bodies, lampent doesn't feel hot to the touch

[@uncle-dusknoir asked:]
i did a bit of looking into your litwick problem, specifically into issues with being able to eat. you said you don't feel tired afterwards, so there's a couple different things i imagine could be wrong?
- unable to feed passively, only able to feed in active bursts. you would almost definitely feel it but idk
- flame is disconnected to eating habits, which is uncommon but can happen. might be draining on the little thing if it's too big for too long though
- you have something travelling with you that's feeding it? like a possession or something similar. i know specifically Skorna conserves a lot of energy when she's hitching a ride in the skull
- you just have unusual amounts of life energy and it's a little glutton
there's also a chance that it has what in my universe is called "clover's disease"- where a vitalivore just needs to eat so much that it's never able to be full. but that, uh, would kill you much like it killed the researcher it's named after, so I'm a bit hesitant to call it
All right! Uhh...
First one'd almost work, but idk if it'd explain just how much his flame shrunk between when I first saw him and when I met him again. Plus the flame's kinda stabilized now he's staying with me.
Second one's possible? Don't really have anything else to say on it.
Third one... weirdest thing around me is I'm traveling with Victini. But Victini's supposed to bring victory, not be a Pokémon Ghost types can feed on forever. Have a Cofagrigus too, so could be some kind of Ghost to Ghost connection?
Fourth one'd be a possibility except just like the first one, it doesn't explain the flame shrinking that much. Unless I'm totally wrong and that much shrinkage overnight is normal.
Clover's Disease is uh... maybe? Haven't felt ANYTHING this whole time, but when Skyla saw Block following me back at the tower she reacted like it was an emergency and told me it was a surprise I was still conscious if he'd drained that much. Could explain the shrinkage too. But again, I'm FINE.

Expanding on Even's team. For fun.
Leavanny (Ivy): Has a similar temperament to her trainer, she's generally helpful and a bit silly but when it comes to battle she's perfectly focused and serious. She will demand things if she wants them, but other than that she's actually quite quiet. She likes to cut through the woods when they go on trips and will literally push Even so they can go.
Zweilous (Kris and Kringle): The newest and youngest members of Even's team, they are both fairly shy but can be coaxed out with sweet treats. When they get comfortable with people they bite to show affection. Still, they are both sweethearts and aren't really battlers.
Yamask (Phantasmagoria): She's actually really sweet and cuddly! She gets really lonely really quickly, and contrary to what people think she gets spooked very easily. She usually hides under the bed. Obviously, she doesn't really like fighting, but Even is working on it.
Gothitelle (Reason): She LOVES to cause problems. She will rearrange all the cutlery so you grab a spoon instead of a fork, she'll get your socks wet on purpose, she just delights in mischief and acts like she doesn't. She's still a reliable fighter and dies enjoy battles, but she tends to fight a little dirty when Even isn't paying enough attention.
Marakas (Rhyme): Rhyme provides distraction when Reason is causing problems. He'll dance around and make noise and be at the center of attention (even if he usually hates attention) to help her out. Usually he likes his alone time, though, and he actually does like being in his pokeball the best. Still, he is a decent fighter!
Chandelour (Galahad): He must be included in everything or he throws a hissy fit. There is nothing Galahad loves more than people paying attention to him and giving him praise. This does mean he is a good battler but he's slightly too reckless and it distresses Even to no end. Even still loves him though.
OOOOO I LOVE IT
Lemme do Astrid’d team hold on:
Sugarcloud the Cottonee is extremely excited about everything and rarely ever stays put in her pokeball because of it. She loves floating along while Astrid is out and investigating everything they come across. I actually have this idea that Even first met Astrid when ze was looking for Sugarcloud in the woods after she was blown away by a particularly strong gust of wind. Sugarcloud’s optimism is boundless and she is willing to take on any challenge in battle, even if she’s in over her proverbial head, mostly because it means interacting with other different types of Pokémon.
Orbit the Elgyem shares Sugarcloud’s curious disposition, but they show it in a much more reserved manner, passively observing things whenever they get the chance. They can come off as a bit of an odd, quiet creature to most, but do occasionally show a sillier side towards people and Pokémon they trust. They rarely battle, preferring to stand by watching most of the time, but when they do get onto the battlefield, they’re by far Astrid’s most powerful team member.
Sunbeam the Larvesta was rescued by Astrid’s cousin from a factory that was illegally keeping him and a few other Fire-types in very poor conditions to keep a furnace lit. While he lost most of his resulting fear of humans over the course of his travels with Astrid, he’s still the timid type and sometimes has trouble adjusting to new environments. He trusts Sugarcloud and Orbit to keep him grounded whenever things get uncertain and scary, and they’re more than happy to do just that. He sometimes still misses the Darumaka and Litwick he was once trapped with, but as they joined Astrid’s cousin’s team, they do still see one-another on occasion. In battle, Sunbeam is surprisingly willing to show all of the ferocity expected of his Fire typing in order to defend his new friends.
Enigma the Zorua is the newest addition to Astrid’s team and is, shockingly, the most sincere Pokémon you will ever meet; she wears her heart on her metaphorical sleeve and empathises deeply with everyone around her. As a result, she feels bad using her Illusion ability in battle, thinking of it as dishonest and mean to pretend to be someone she isn’t even for a few turns of combat. Somebody (Reason) has been teaching her that playing tricks isn’t always mean and can be used for good. In battle, Enigma is usually very honourable, but has been working in more tricky moves and strategies as a result of Reason’s influence over time, though she still only uses her Illusion when absolutely necessary.

//transcribed from a Discord RP with @vocaloid-voltage
[begin video log
Oppy had just barely made it to Lilycove in time for the latest Hatsune Miku concert. She wandered around a bit, looking for the venue, until she saw her friend waving at her
Miku! She runs over, stopping herself from tackle-hugging her Good to see you ^u^
“Hey Oppy! I heard you got the badge from Fortree! Congratulations!” She beamed, raising a hand for a high five.
they high five, then Oppy brings out her badge case 6 now! Plus all my team except Celsius and Strelka evolved! Oppy's pokemon - Serperior, Gyrados, Cryogonal, Ninjask, Shedinja, Litwick, Metang, and Type: Null had followed her
“Hey, nice! I always wanted to try raising a Cryogonal. Never really worked out, unfortunately.”
Celsius is great! He's been carrying me through the gyms and having him around's great for the heat
Oppy then sees a familiar orange shape watching them at a distance. Considering the fact that Miku was not looking in that direction, the orange man did not appear in her view.
“I can imagine. That’s why I have Ice Voltage, to be honest.”
Oppy’s phone buzzes Hm? She opens it (over Twystcord): it’s Top Man
Opportunity was that you in the concert hall?
Yeah. Why?
...hey here's an idea. Why don't you take your friend and go check out the department store or the shrine by the sea and don't be near the concert hall for a while, k?
... >_>
She showed Miku Top Man’s conversation, and she opened her own DM with the Robot Master
Hey, uh. I saw that message. What’s going on exactly?
Well... Not sure if you saw the whole drama but I'm on slightly better terms with Opportunity now... the issue is, Dr. Wily now has someone in play who doesn't have that rapport, likes him a lot more than I do, and is a lot more dangerous in his practices... I don't want the kid getting hurt is all. I can't do anything to stop it, so I figured I'd at least warn her
Okay but like… I’ve got a concert tonight. Does it have to be tonight? Also you should totally come to one when you’re not working with a terrorist.
You have NO IDEA how much I want to be there and not with this bitter old fleabag and his drama. Also that was not up to me. I'm pretty sure Dr. Wily picked specifically tonight to make scene
Alright that makes things a lot more difficult because I can’t just. Not perform, I legally have to be there.
...good luck. Don't die :thisdoesnotpleaseme.png: (don't know if he'll do much more than cause a scrap ton of damage but you never know with this guy. He's a bit of a loose cannon)
Are you allowed to tell me who it is? I played a game or two when I was a kid I might recognize the name.
To be quite frank, Miku was just hoping that her being part Porygon didn’t ruin the whole First Law thing. Though it was the Second Law actually in this case (Wily had ordered this part of his operation be secret), but still, Top Man was able to manage something
Ninja- %(&(-&*% ^-^%-That's all I can say I guess
She looked to Oppy,  clasping her hands together. “Alright, what do you say we have a shopping trip distraction?”
! Sure! That sounds great!
but as fate would have it (of course) Miku's phone said that the concert was starting - the two girls had lost track of time - and she couldn't leave until it was over
Miku sighed slightly, but nodded at her phone. Her body pulsed, and her hair turned purple, her eyes a dark crimson. “Dagnabbit, time.” She shifted back to her normal appearance, looking back to Oppy. “Nevermind, we’ve got Bowling For Soup playing opener right now so I have to be ready in 10.”
Oh... I'll be on the lookout! Do I watch from here or in the crowd? I've never been to one of these "^^
“You watch in the crowd! I’ll ask someone to guide you there!” Almost as soon  as she said that, a green haired girl entered through the door. She didn’t say much, simply waving to Miku with a smile and waving to Oppy with a surprised face.  “Melody! Great timing! Do you think you could show Oppy to the crowd?” Melody nodded, making a gesture towards Oppy to follow her.
Oppy went back with the crowd (still toward the front though) as the concert began. As the opening bands finished their last songs, the curtains drew back, and Miku arrived onstage to raucous applause.
“How’s everyone doing tonight!”
More cheers. Miku grinned as she listened to the crowd.
“Sorry for the wait, a bit of a software issue! But I’m back now! Let’s get this started!”
We love you Miku!!!!! ^u^
While she couldn’t hear the specific call, she did hear it as part of the crowd. To be fair a lot of them were saying that exact same thing. “I love all of you too!” Music began, and she began her performance. She really seemed to be getting into it.
Right as one of her more popular numbers was reaching its head, the backup musicians began being attacked by... a Weavile?!
The music stopped almost instantly (to be fair, the backup musicians were for an acoustic cover of Hypocrite Justice they were going to do later), and Miku turned around in shock. She immediately rushed to the musician’s aid, changing to Fire Voltage as she ran.
“Get off of him!”
the Weavile's movements are strange, almost as if it was programmed to attack, and when it got close to Miku, she felt its surface was metallic. The Weavile tried to hit Miku with a Throat Chop, but it was parried by a large, thick, pink hand from behind her. Miku was… rather surprised to see the hand, looking back to see who owned it. How’d it get this far, she was on stage alone, wasn’t she? Looking next to her, she sees Oppy had somehow made her way onto the stage to protect her. She gives her a thumbs up with her non-shifted hand, then turns to the Weavile, who's still trying to cause as much damage as possible, this time attacking a fog machine, making it so the area is covered in mist and the audience has a hard time seeing what's going on. Miku, admittedly, was starting to panic a bit. She was a pop star, she was completely and utterly unqualified to handle this.
Wait hold on, fog machine! She could handle that at least.
She shifted to Flying Voltage, leaping across the stage before changing to Steel, making her much heavier in comparison. She may not have fancy attacks or anything, but she could protect her fans.
fortunately a Mystical Fire from Candela took out the Weavile
Phew... what was that? And who sent that thing?
“I don’t know…” Miku put her hand to her chin. The answer was incredibly obvious, but she wasn’t really made for thinking with Steel Voltage. She swapped to Psychic, and the answer hit her like a load of bricks. “Oh right yeah Wily.”
Almost as she realizes it, the other fog machine breaks, and a stage light almost falls on her. Oppy moves her out of the way, then the mist thins enough to see a strange, ninja-like robot put the metal Weavile in a pokeball - this was DWN-024, Shadow Man
“Aaaand this is exactly the guy I was expecting. Oppy? You might wanna run.”
Back to Steel Voltage she went. Oppy shifts a shield around herself but stays
I'm gonna help too if you need it!
“That’s kind of the thing? I was also going to, I haven’t done anything like this before.”
Neither have I, really. The other guy didn't really want to be there so he didn't go all out like this guy, but I think we can beat him!
Shadow Man throws a Shadow Blade that strikes Oppy and she recoils, but isn't seriously hurt. Oh dear, oh no. He was attacking the kid. That wasn’t good. How was she supposed to take care of this guy!?
Wait hold on… if she remembered right he wasn’t made with the others of that line… but he was still weak to Top Man’s weapon… which could only really mean…
And so, Hatsune Miku, the Cyber Songstress, threw her full body weight against a ninja.
Urgh- What are you doing?! He tries to launch a Shadow Blade, but misses by a longshot
“Good question!” She responded, charging forward more. Maybe Fighting Voltage would have been better, but she needed the extra weight considering the fact that her opponent was made of metal.
Miku then discovers she was pushing against a log - the real Shadow Man descended from above and struck her. To be fair, she was expecting something like that. Which is why she was in Steel Voltage. However, she did not remember that she was barely over 150 pounds with Steel Voltage active. Stupid pop star diets. She made her distaste for the situation known, extremely vocally even. “That was just cheating there.”
Shadow Man grunted, then a second Shadow Man then appeared next to him, and then the two scrambled themselves, making it hard to tell which was which
Huh?! There's two now?!
“It’s okay, it’s just Double Team. Got anything that can hit both of them?”
She almost wished Melody was here just for the extra help. But that would just be adding another person who had no idea how to fight in here.
I could make something! she shifted her hand into a long flail, and swung that at the two Shadow Mans, only for them both to disappear
Behind you Shadow Man knocked over Oppy with a hit from behind
OW! NO FAIR!
“Hmm… there’s a bit of a problem here… wait, I’ve got it!”
She shifted to Psychic Voltage. That should give her a better view than Steel. If he’d just stay still she could enter his circuits, but she didn’t have that option. through Psychic Voltage, she's able to see Shadow Man attempting to sneak up on Oppy through the mist. Miku’s eyes widened, electing to — instead of being an idiot and punching the robot in the face — warn Oppy about the incoming stealth attack. hearing Miku's warning, Oppy instead makes her body larger, squishy, and slightly adhesive. Shadow Man gets stuck on her and Oppy traps him
Good job Oppy!” Miku clapped slightly. “Let’s see if I can’t do anything here…”
She approached the robot, looking for any sort of entry point to his system. She was hoping it would be simple, but things rarely were. Shadow Man's putting up a beast of a fight, and the systems are already hard to grasp, being not of earth...
Miku! Look! Oppy points out an interface port - likely where Dr. Wily would connect to for maintanence. She moves this closer to Miku for convenience
“Thanks!” She nodded, sticking a finger into the port and transferring herself into the droid. It looked like she was still there, but her eyes were lifeless.
Inside Shadow Man is a landscape that seems like Shadow Man's stage from Mega Man 3, complete with enemies. She gets the sense she'll be ejected if she gets defeated, so better make this count. She was so happy for this, she never thought that she would ever find a use for this. Immediately enemies begin approaching her - it does seem like she has some rudimentary equipment based her franchise. Aw heck yeah, she can do stuff. Apparently the question of “what would Miku do in a platformer?” was answered with “Whatever the hell made sense for the setting.” Miku eventually made her way to Shadow Man, in his mindscape, and he immediately began going on the offensive, jumping around and throwing Shadow Blades. Well. She was hoping that she’d be able to talk things out with him, but that did not seem to be the case. At the very least, this was a very familiar pattern. For Dr. Wily! though his attacks are relentless, she knows them, and in short order Shadow Man is defeated. Miku automatically ejects, but Shadow Man has gone slack
you entered my mind... I'm lucky I trained for that. You saw only what I allowed you to, but even still... I'm in no shape to fight anymore…
Being back out of his mind was. Definitely a shock. She expected to leave on her own.
“Normally this would be when we’d like. Blow you up and take the chip thingy but we want answers. What are you doing here?”
you're a fool if you think I'll tell you
at that moment an awful noise is heard and the Wily UFO flies overhead that descends a grabber claw that collects Shadow Man and startles Oppy into letting go
Excellent work Shadow Man! We have what we needed from that lab now!
strangely, Strelka seems to notice the UFO and starts trying to chase it for some reason
Strelka what are you doing?!
“Huh? What’s going on?”
Miku attempted to chase after it, but as it turned out, being tackled by a ceratanium-adjacent-constructed robot when you yourself weigh 90 pounds normally really hurts, and she collapsed onto the ground.
Oppy doesn't notice at first, chasing Strelka until the Wily UFO flies out of sight and Strelka howls mournfully
Strelka what's wrong? Oppy then sees the guy from the Devon lab earlier
"Oh... it's you. Well if you want your dumb mutt you can keep it. Without the type memories it's useless to us, and given how much of a pain that project's been we're probably gonna cut funding for it. I won't bug you again about Type: Null"
Well... that's one thing down, now to deal with Wily. Wait where's Miku?
realizing, she runs back to her friend and helps her back up
Wily got away…
Miku was in. A lot of pain. Like… so much pain.
“It’s fine, we’ll get him later. Or. You will. I need to go to the hospital. I can message one of the others to help at least, I don’t wanna just leave you out on your own.”
I'll get you there, don't worry Oppy shapeshifts into a form that could fly her there and gets Miku to the hospital as fast as she can

thoughts on greavard? 👀 i find it kinda weird that the concept is so similar to litwick. i hope the evolution adds something new to it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Greavard is an interesting guy; certainly not what I expected from a ghost dog. At first, I thought it was too similar to Litwick for its own good, given that it's a ghost type with a candle that has a purple flame that drains the life force of people by being around them. However, I am not opposed to GameFreak revisiting concepts if they can put a unique spin on them, and I'd say this ghost doggo is different enough to be its own thing. I do wish the flame was a different color and I would've liked to see different lore for it than just the life-force draining thing that Litwick's known for, but its got some interesting things going for it beyond that.
What particularly endeared me to it is how it buries itself below ground so only the candle is showing, then pops out to say hi to people:
Tumblr media
Outside of probably being reference to the act of placing candles on graves as a sign of remembrance, it's also just a neat mechanic–a dog that buries itself instead of a bone.
And visually, it's a pretty solid design as a whole. I like the briard look (I'm always a sucker for fur that covers the eyes), and the beartrap-style mouth is particularly interesting. It also feels appropriate ghostly thanks to the grey palette.
The only things that bug me about it are that first, the paws are weirdly misshapen? They're super round and have less definition to them than the rest of the body, like it got stung by a bee or something.
And secondly, I do wonder if the head was the best place to put the candle. Take the candle away and its a fairly normal dog, so just slapping it on top of the head feels... obvious, I guess? Like it's not really integrated that well into the design. I could've easily seen the candle as its tail or something that plays off the dog idea; maybe it wags it so hard when meeting someone that it accidentally blows the candle out or something. It's not terrible as-is or anything; it just could be more dynamic.
With all that said: I'm particularly hoping for a cool evolution for this guy. The Litwick line evolves into a candelabra, which doesn't really make sense here as it's a dog and not an object. Ergo, the evolution might play with the concept a bit more and make it feel more distinct from Litwick. Plus there's a ton of potential in a long-haired shaggy ghost dog with candles; maybe the fur becomes dripping wax or something.
Regardless, overall, Greavard is good. I do think the concept could've been integrated into the design a bit more than it is, but this is still a very good boy that I would happily die from petting too much.

Pokemon Consequences Progress Update
Welcome to the first progress update for the Pokemon Consequences fangame. I'm writing this report because I've (mostly) figured out the starters by this point. Here they are!
Tumblr media
I'd like to explain everything going on here:
Starter Option No. 1
The first potential starter trio is Poochyena-Ekans-Sandshrew. They all evolve around level twenty, (Poochyena at Lv. 18, and Ekans & Sandshrew at Lv. 22) and are two stage lines native to Kitakami. I wanted them to be two stage lines to emphasize how Kitakami is not really a region and thus doesn't have actual starters. Poochyena is probably the best because a) the Ekans and Poochyena lines have Intimidate as an ability and b) Poochyena evolves the earliest. There is no type triangle but that's because there is no two-stage Kitakamian grass-fire-water triangle that is consistent in how the pokemon evolve. (more on that later).
Starter Option No. 2
The Sinnoh starters. They're not in the dex but you can find them as Jacq will give one of them to you randomly when you complete the Kitakami dex. Probably the most boring option but also the most consistent. (This also brings up an interesting point in how Kitakami has no professor, Jacq will probably fill that role as he is probably the only "professor-like" character in Kitakami.)
Starter Option No. 3
This is probably the farthest out of the Starter trio options but also probably my favorite, it being the Victreebell, Poliwrath, and Chandelure lines.
They first evolve by level up and then by a stone, (note, Politoed is not a possibility here as trading will not be possible in this game. Another note: the stone is a good thing as it allows me, as the developer, to control when the player can fully evolve their starter by locking the stones behind a certain point). This creates a weird thing where litwick evolves into lampent a LOT later than Bellsprout and Poliwag, but we can adjust its evolution level for the fangame... hopefully.
Some other lines can fit as starters here such as Ludicolo (though I don't want that as its a Grass-Water type), but this is easily my favorite of the options.
Poll & Conclusion
But: Which starter trio do YOU want? (this will influence the game, most likely).
Thanks for listening to me ramble about this silly project of mine! I'll make sure to keep this blog updated as I make progress on the fangame.

Do you have any tips for raising Litwik? I've been trying to get as much information on them as possible so I can provide a safe and comfortable environment, but a lot of the stuff I've found is just the same "they eat souls/they're evil" stuff going around.
Oh boy let me tell you. When it was time for me to find a Partner Pokémon I was halfway to Celestial Tower before a Solosis latched onto me.
So here's the thing about Litwick. They don't steal your soul. But they can steal oxygen from your body. There's documented evidence of this happening with Greavard as well. Short of a pressurized suit, the only way to protect yourself is to befriend them, or just plain don't aggravate them. They're like Beedrill, almost. Don't bother them and they won't bother you. There's a reason the stories mention following their flames instead of just being around them.
There are plenty of other Pokémon that will attack you if you chase them around, ghost types just tend to get a bad rap. There are dangers to raising Litwick, but there are dangers to raising all Pokémon, from Volcarona to Lillipup.
So let's say you've succeeded in befriending one. When it comes to caring for a Litwick, it's important to have a cool, arid climate. Sticking an ac unit and a dehumidifier in one of your rooms is good. If you don't have multiple rooms, get an electric blanket and a big water bottle. If you're traveling, a Litwick will do just as well on the road as any other Pokémon. I've mentioned an ideal climate, but it'll tend to be okay in most places. Like most Pokémon, it really comes down to minimizing time spent in areas that actively make it uncomfortable. Try to avoid sandstorms and rain/hail.
Now enrichment is something all Pokémon need. For trainers, thats handled pretty easily by battle, even adventuring itself. If you're living at home, try keeping unlit candles for it to mess around with. Just make sure it doesn't knock them down. In fact, fireproof your home as much as possible. Carpets, furniture, etc. Just go to the store and tell a sales rep that you have a fire type Pokémon. Basic pokétoys are also recommended.

Number 1 and 3 for the hc ask game!
(these are all ooc!!!)
How accurate is the pokedex? Are things like litwik eating life force, being burned by houndoom and the pain never stopping, macargo being hotter than the sun, gardevoir making black holes, and even more - are they true? false? what percent, and to what extent?
i think the pokedex has the right idea, but it blows things waaay out of proportion. most of the crazy ideas in the pokedex are either exaggerations or theories! some examples (below the cut, this might be a looong post!!!!)
litwick DOES eat life force, but it doesn't really take enough to be dangerous on its own? it takes very little to power this guy. a group of litwick all sapping life force from one person can be pretty dangerous though!!!
houndoom's fire is especially dangerous for a fire-type pokemon and IS toxic. these toxins enter your body through a burn and can be painful for a very long period of time. 20-30 years ago, a houndoom burn (with exposure to a high amount of the fire's toxins) WOULD hurt forever, but that was before there was a treatment for it (which is relatively modern!)
magcargo is very hot, but it is not hotter than the sun. that's just an exaggeration.
gardevoir can't make black holes, but it's very proficient in telekinesis. one of its strongest ways to utilize it is to pull everything in an area into one spot with crushing amounts of force (think gardevoir's unite move from unite) which has been mistaken for a black hole.
the abra line is a close RELATIVE of humans, but kadabra was never a human at any point in its life.
3. does the anime effect your headcanons? what about the spin-off games? do you like to ignore them, take everything, or a mix of both?
i take a few things from the anime, mainly to make constraints placed because of the nature of a video game feel more natural. for example, pokemon can have more than 4 moves at a time, but if they're not practicing their entire learnset some of the moves are going to be less effective. sometimes, there's not really a reason to USE that many moves, either. why use tackle on a special attacker? why use ember over flamethrower? stuff like that.
i don't take a lot from the anime and even less from spin-off games, though, mostly since i don't watch the anime or play spin-offs very often.

Pokemon Ensemble!
Ever wondered what will happen if the world was mixed with Pokemon? Well this is an au I made because I love matchmaking characters with their destined Pokemon. So here's my list for it. Pt1.
Fine:
- Eichi: An Audino. Why? Because I wanted something that contrast to Eichi's wellbeing. Audino is a Pokemon often use in pokemon centers, well in the anime anyway. Plus audino just seemed fitting to Fine's theme.
- Wataru: Swablu. Why? Because first of, it's blue. Two he always appear from the skies for some reason. So I thought a flying type might fit really well.
- Tori: Sylveon. I just thought it would adorable that his only friend is an eevee. That bond they have is what created sylveon. Plus the two are pink.
- Yuzuru: Hatenna. In this case, I didn't think of the current state of the Pokemon, but the evolution ahead. With hatenna having the final evolution of hatterene. I thought using hatterene, he can serve the role of Tori's butler better. And with his background, I would say hatterene was an injured Pokemon in the area at the time.
Trickstar:
- Hokkuto: Ambreon. I'm sorry... But his story and Tori's is similar, so I gave him an eevee too. But it evolves into an umbreon this time. I might think that it evolves one day when hokkuto got lost at nigh or something...
- Subaru: Growlithe. First of, they are orange and both are playful. Growlithe being a fire type just shows how cheerful Subaru is. Growlithe can also help Subaru find shinny things.
- Isara: Purrloin. I have no other reason other than me planning this cute purrloin fighting with Ritsu over dominance of Isaa's lap.
- Makoto: Soble. You can't lie both Makoto and soble are precious beings and both are very shy. I just though they will continue have super cute interactions with each other even in soble's evolution stages.
Ryusetai:
- Chiaki: Litten. The reason was simply me trying to fit ryuusetai colors. But I gave someone else a more redish-oranhe colored Pokemon to someone else, so I gave him litten. I just thought it's adorable to think the two of them play hero together.
- Kanata: Buizel. I thought it will be adorable to give him a floating pokemon! Of course I mean a land AND water pokemon. I really want him to have a water pokemon, but that doesn't mean I have to use pokemon that keep on staying in the water.
- Midori: Treeco. First of all, it's green. 2,it's emo. Nothing better than an Emo green pokemon for Midori, yes?
- Tetora: Torchic. Again, I see this from a post evolution view. Since blazeken is a fighting type, I thought it will be perfect for him! Though that does mean I am giving him Chiaki's colors. Thus why Chiaki has a red and black pokemon.
- Shinobu: Emolga. It's yellow, small, speedy, agile. What more can you possibly need? It's perfect for a little ninja spying time. Though I could just give him a froakie, I don't feel like it fits... Especially when it's Kanata's colors... And mind you, buizel isn't blue in the slightest. But we don't talk about that because I have no choice.
Alkaloid:
- Hiiro: Riolu. I feel like because he come from a village, it would make sense to give him a fighting type. And to me, there is nothing better than a small riolu trying his best to protect the things it loves. Just like Hiiro if you ask me.
- Aira: cleffa. I thought it's really cute! I know Aira would definitely have a cutesy pokemon with him. So why not cleffa? It's so cute, that it looks like a doll.
- Tatsumi: Gothita. Well... Gothita evolves into gothetell and... Gothetell just looks a lot like a nun... No comment...
- Mayoi: litwick. I have a reason! This litwick is found in one of his hiding spots and they just become instant friends. Litwick ofc being his source of light whenever Mayoi needs it.
Eden (Adam & Eve):
- Nagisa: sandshrew. Hmmm I don't know why tbh. I thought that, despite Nagisa having white hair, ice types won't fit him... So I decided to do group types instead. You know, from his love of digging precious stone in construction sites and stuff... I just thought a sandslash is fitting.
- Hiyori: Ralts. It's green... That's... Basically it... Well I though since Hiyori has this habit of wandering around and buy stuff, a psychic type would help.
- Ibara: Salandit. It's sneaky, slippery, and slick! What more do I need to explain? Plus it fits his color scheme.
- Jun: Gible. A soft yet strong pokemon, just like Jun. I thought it can go something like... He found it and took it in BCS Jun saw himself in the gible.
Valkyrie:
- Shu: espeon. Uhm... Same thing with Tori and Hokkuto... Sorry not sorry... Giving him a psychic type because thought it would be useful to him.
- Mika: shuppet. You can't lie. As much as this pokemon being not that cute, Mika might think otherwise. Imagine Mika just trying his best to make accessories for this little shuppet so it can actually look cute.
2Wink:
Plusle and minun. That's it. Do I need to spell it out for you?! Bro, they are red and blue for God's sake! Red, a darker shade of pink perfect for Hinata! And blue perfect for Yuta! Plus, the two are very energetic, not to mention they act like twins! Pretty sure everyone will confuse the twins if they swap pokemon.
Crazy:B :
- Rinne: Mienfoo. As much as I want this group to have at least someone with a bee pokemon... Nothing fits! So here, a mienfoo for Rinne. Just like Hiiro, it's a fighting type because he's from the village. A tough pokemon who's always ready to take action. Of course also with a little bit of luck.
- HiMERU: sneasel. It's cold, dark, mysterious. I just personally think it fits HiMERU.
- Niki: rookidee. This rookidee may never want to grow up...it wants to stay little forever. I really like the idea of this little birb helping out Niki in the kitchen.
- Kohaku: Espurr. Honestly I don't remember why I gave him an espurr, and I hate myself for it. ToT
Well? What do you think? That was only the first part. Give it a like if you want to see the rest. I had a lot of fun making this. Thought I'll share it with all of you. Welp. Peace!

Danganronpa and Pokémon
So like, I've thought about both perspectives of this. What Pokémon/gym leader type would Danganronpa characters have, and what Ultimate Talent Pokémon characters would have? I'm just gonna list THH characters cuz why not.
Oh, also like spoilers for Danganronpa I guess so don't read ahead if like you haven't played these games. Or do, the games are kinda extremely long and painful.
Sayaka Maizono - Psychic/Fairy. Cuz like, all the "I'm psychic" things and Pop Idol is fairy type vibes. Considering both of those things, she'd probably have an ace Gardevoir.
Mukuro Ikusaba - Fighting/Dark/Steel. Mukuro is super vague in like, every way, but she's a military fighter. And she's like, evil. That's about it. With that in mind, though, she'd have an ace Tyranitar or something. Tyranitar is like, canonically super evil and can't feel pain and can't be stopped and whatnot, so that makes sense.
Leon Kuwata - Fighting. There's not really a fitting type for sports? I guess fighting cuz like physical skills??? Maybe he'd have like a Marowak or a Lucario (who uses bone rush like in Pokken) help him practice? Or have like a Machoke/Machamp pitch it for him to hit. I don't know.
Chihiro Fujisaki - Electric/Steel. Bro, they're the coding guy. Electric and Steel are like, the only options. I know I already said Gardevoir for Sayaka, and I stand by that, but it'd be neat if Chihiro had a male Gardevoir. I guess Iron Valiant is also pretty #gender. They aren't electric or steel but they're a robot so like close enough. Fun Fact, Pokémon trainers tend to have more Pokémon of the same gender on their team, so Chihiro having more male Pokémon before/if it isn't revealed would be some funny thing to do. Uh, but their ace would probably be Togedamaru. Cute little steel-electric guy.
Mondo Owada - Dark/Fighting. Dark more likely, probably those dark Pokémon that mention "they aren't actually that bad btw" He'd have a Sableye cuz like Crazy Diamond and whatnot, but he'd have an ace Scrafty. Deliquent and all that.
Kiyotaka Ishimaru - Normal/Fighting. He's just super serious all the time. I say normal because man's ace is 1000% Watchhog. Bro's just so serious all the time. And normal Pokémon probably are less likely to be like, troublemakers.
Hifumi Yamada - Fairy. Look, I'm one of like 2 people who know Hifumi has more of a character than being a simp and a creep, but even then, his team would just be... Y'know. Ace would probably be Lopunny.
Celestia Ludenberg (Taeko Yasuhiro) - Psychic or Dark. Gothitelle. Besides that though, psychic Pokémon would probably be helpful for gambling, (if not illegal) and Dark is just her whole aesthetic.
Sakura Ogami - Fighting. I feel like she'd specifically have Conkeldurr. I don't know why. Ace would most likely be Medicham, though. Super strong, and super wise. Might mega evolve too.
Junko Enoshima - Dragon. Most dragon types are like, super evil, and Dark Type doesn't really suit her. She'd have Giratina if her having a legendary would be so like, logically impossible. Like, in a real world with Pokémon gods, it would not be feasible for a high schooler to catch Pokesatan. Haxorus would be her Ace, super intimidating. Or Hydreigon, that thing is canonically just pure evil.
Makoto Naegi - Normal. I don't need to elaborate on this one at all. He'd have a shiny Blissey, because Lucky.
Kyoko Kirigiri - Ghost. Maybe it'd be sort of odd to have a homicide detective have ghost buddies, maybe that'd be insensitive, but eh. They'd have a Stoutland if they didn't have ghost types for obvious reasons. Ace Chandelure because... honestly, no other ghost type fits, and I imagine as a Litwick they would be like, a lamp on a book she'd read, or something.
Aoi Asahina - Water. Probably Barraskewda ace, because Fast Fish and Swimming Pro. Veluza if Veluza was actually fast stats wise.
Byakuya Togami - Dragon. He probably, actually, most definitely, not have a single type. Dragon is very intimidating and important, so that feels most fitting for him, but he'd probably just have Pokémon that can support him. Alakazam so he can have someone near his massive intelligence, would ride like, a Charizard or something completely exaggerated/absurd. Etc.
Yasuhiro Hagakure - Psychic. He'd probably have like, Unown or something just so he seems important. He still has to canonically not be good at being a psychic, at least in my eyes. If he didn't have that restriction, Xatu. Because he does, Slowbro. Because idiot joke.
Toko Fukawa - Ghost. Because writers have ghost vibes and cause serial killer. Probably mysterious or unique Pokémon, like Sigilyph and whatnot. Ace Froslass because of lore and because Froslass canonically freezes men.
And that's that. This took longer than expected.
I'll do other Danganronpa characters soon enough, and then the other way around for Pokémon gym leaders.

what does your team look like?
Currently, my team is as follows.
My Starter and Star Pokemon, Dyre (Gengar) starts out the list. Found him as a Ghastly pretty beat up and hurt. My dad was cautious about having a Ghost Type as my starter, but he helped me bring him to the nearest Pokecenter. We found out there that he's not actually shiny, just has albinism. We've been inseparable since.
Next up is Flit (Chandelure). Found her as a litwick during my Kalos run. More so she latched onto me and when I camped out for the night, found her snoozing on my bag.
Then we've got Marion (Banette). They found me on Mt. Pyre. I got this feeling like I was being watched. Turns out it was just a curious little shuppet.
Miss-Fortune, my Mismagius, was actually a Pokemon I was looking around for. After going through a lot of grass and getting jumped by many a wingull, I finally stumbled into a misdreavus.
Sable, the cleverly named Sableye, found me in Reflection Cave. They seemed to be well adjusted around trainers, and actively sought me out. They would get close, never challenge a battle, then hid away. Near the end of going through the cave, they finally stopped me and let me catch them. They're a troublemaker, but it's nothing harmful.
Finally, we've got Noir, my duskull. Found him in the wild, pretty sick looking. Since he was a shiny, I assumed it was like Dyre, actively sought out by predator pokemon, but I later found out he ran away from a mill. After I brought him to the nearest pokecenter, while he was recovering, he went into my bag and grabbed onto an everstone I had found. I've since fashioned it into something he can wear, so he doesn't lose it. Nowadays he loves to battle and I think he gets a small bit of joy at proving trainers who doubt his strength wrong.
And this final pokemon isn't part of my team anymore, just is now my housemon, is my Sylveon Jumper. He's been my childhood eevee and was with me throughout both my trainer journeys. He never evolved while we were in Hoenn though. Only evolving once we moved to Kalos. I was happy to accept that'd he'd never evolve, but he really shocked me. I also had never really seen a fairy type yet, so I was heavily shocked when I saw him evolve. But now he's happy just lying around in the sun. The first thing I unpacked here in Nimbasa was his bed.
And that's my main team. Maybe later I'll tell you about my ever-changing Hoenn team.

for the pokemon asks:
Volt Switch / Aerial Ace / Shadow Ball / Cherish Ball / Ultra Ball
Loooooong response becauuse lotta asks!
Volt Switch: Favorite Electric types(s)
Tumblr media
Listed roughly in order from most to I guess 6th most, I found grubbin very charming and I do love vikavolt but if I'm picking one from the line I just gotta love chargabug being both a battery, a bus and a compact little guy.
Rotom rules because electric poltergeists are fun and I love the variety of forms, flaffy is some movie nostalgia, enjoying the static electricity wool idea and some nostalgia for having one (eventually ampharos) in soul silver. Toxtricity gets points for being electric guitar pokemon and the closest I'm gonna get to metal rep (even if they are more punk rock) and the other two are riding the train of just being based on irl animals I like.
Aerial Ace: Favorite Flying types(s)
Tumblr media
(honorable mentions to Archeops, Vesiquen and Gliscor)
This one is in less particular order than the first in terms of faves because I kept remembering things and changing my mind.
Love gyrados, a childhood fave and sure the little guy into cool big scary guy is a common trope but they're the og! and also a threatening wind sock. Gyrados rocks. Love Honchkrow, maybe my top 1 favourite flying? The mafia don theme is fun and its just got such great personality.
Tumblr media
Yanmega is a prehistoric bug that kicks ass and does a great job conveying that irl dragonflies are apex predators. Vullaby is fucking adorable and I love its fucking, human skull nappy. Perfect goth baby. Drifloon is a hillariously ghoulish little It balloon. Mega pinsir is a great glow up for one of the favorite original bugs and is such an outright demonic looking bug pokemon but despite how it looks its one of the only megas that doesn't have an entry about being in pain, fucked up or more aggressive, its just fucking zoomies
Tumblr media
Shadow Ball: Favorite Ghost types(s)
Ok now we are at the Hardest of all questions, also theres no team builder that has all these regions together so from scratch time:
Tumblr media
Shoutout honorable mention to pretty much every single ghost type especially Shedninja and gengar and Dhelmise and litwick and-
Mimikyu is favourite number one, its adorable, its ability is fun, is a great meta commentary on pikaclone mascot attempts, my perfect aesthetic of creepy cute love it. Houndstone aesthetically is so good and I wish there was actual art of it I could grab. Phantump is cool, cute and a wonderfully dark pokedex entry, love to have Evan on my team.
Phantump is finally a jackolanturn pokemon and I love the route of not just making the face the carving but doing a fun little black cat/bat thing with it! Halloween! Huge fan of OG bannete the scuzzy little haunted puppet and its fucked up gimp mouth and mega bannette just expands on that more and more, it kicks ass and looks like you let 12 year old me design it (complementary). Duskull is really fun, the one eye pendulum swinging in the skull, its cool little mask, very cute/creepy. Huge fan of dusclops as well but for different reasons and then unfortuantly dusknoir gets too busy for me. Does mean I can eviolite dusclops tho!
Cherish Ball: Favorite Gen IV Pokémon
Activates my secret autism power of having already compiled in a doc my favourites of each gen, ask only asks for one though so gotta give it to my man toxicroak
Tumblr media
delightfully slimy little smile, pleasing colour scheme, love a toxic toad and his fucked up little claws.
Ultra Ball: Favorite Pseudo-legendary(ies)
Tumblr media
Apparently Volcarona doesn't technically count as one but fuck bulbapedia its the only bug one and it has the stats, high level to hang. Moth light obsession/khepri sun god bug theming is sick. It rules and it counts. Tyranitar and Dragonite are both here from childhood nostalgia for the show and leaf green respectively, I love that Tyranitar is godzilla and mean and I love that one of the strongest of the first pokemon and only dragon type was just a chubby guy. Garchomp is a cool land shark, star on it feels unnecessary, Hydreigon is a cool fucked up and evil hydra dragon with head hands and tatered wings, really love the ghost dinosaur concept of dragapult so it gets to be number 6 I'm just not actually that into the stealth bomber aesthetic.

I wonder what the people outside of the Pearl Clan think about the situation. Some twins appear out of nowhere and they are Warden Ingo's sons?! Also, they have pokemon none have ever seen before and they also share their father's strong affinity with pokemon. How would the Diamond Clan treat them? Would the people of Jubilife Village be suspicious of these young but super strong trainers? And how does Volo fit into all of these? Not to mention litwick and their evolutions feed on lifeforce, how are people going to react to THAT?
for the most part they are treated respectfully, though with a bit more suspicion from the people of Jubilfe village. to their faces at least.
But when people learn about Litwick comes into Play it's more of things kind of take a turn for the worse.
for the most part the twins were respected though they were harped on for using Pokeballs. so the twins keep their pokemon out of the balls.
Emmet has no problems, he's a little most static then normal, but he's fine.
Ingo on the other hand, has Litwick on his shoulder and in his hands at all times. the Poor Pokemon has no choice but to drain the energy out of her trainer. she doesn't want too but he's the closest thing at all times. Ingo gets weaker and weaker as days pass then he passes out on everyone while Warden Ingo is out (who is also feeling rather weak). the Warden comes back to panic sees what the problem is and puts the upset Litwick back safely into her pokeball. and explains what happened to everyone.
this causes more problems for the boy. the name Ingo the Cursed starts flowing around, a lot of people seeing the boy as curse by this horrible Pokémon. members of the Pearl clan often whisper about the boy, some times even whisper condolences to his father and brother, seeing him as doomed.
some even try to remove the Pokémon from the boy, try to convince him to chose another partner. trying to save the Warden's first born.
only Little Emmet, Palina and Warden Ingo really put their foot down on this. It doesn't stop the title from sticking, it isn't uttered in the Pearl clan. in the Diamond clan it's whispered a bit more loudly behind the boy's back. and in Jubilife Village, Villagers openly use it to keep their kids away from the twins.
if your looking for certain people from The Diamond Clan and Galaxy team look under the cut. (dis gettin long. but thank you)
Mai, is curious about them. she's respectful and treats them as both capable Pokemon Handlers and children.
Arezu thinks they are the cutest thing out there, she firmly believes their family was torn apart by a misunderstanding and that Almighty Sinnoh is allowing them to make up for lost time. to her Emmet just has the cutest smile, and he's always trying to get (lil)Ingo to smile for her.
they kind of freak poor Iscan out a bit, a little more so when he finds out at least one of them has a ghost type partner. but they are very helpful though, they have no problem getting what he needs to feed his Noble. I kind of think of Scully and Boo in the beginning of the first monsters inc.
Melli... they are his greatest rivals. beast sent by Giratina itself to test the Sinnoh's true chosen one Melli. in short this man gets picked on by two ten year old's on a daily bases. he met them in wayward cave after putting out all the torches, and they were just standing there...Menacingly! (like the twins in the shining).
And Sabi...you mean diamond clan Elesa? they have fun.
now Galaxy team.
Kamado, is just straight up Suspicious of them. even more so when he finds (lil) Ingo drawing strategy's for battling some unknown pokemon in the dirt.
Cyllene, she's indifferent. their kids in her eyes, they mean no harm. though she likes Emmet a lot less after he causes what later becomes the great joltik infestation.
Zisu, is always to battle these two rascals. is also teaching them self defense.
Rei is honestly not sure what to make of the two. he's respectful at best.
Akari/Dawn, these two are her new adopted siblings they have no say. she takes them out on research all the time, they torment each other, they complain about missing the future. she holds things out of their reach cause it's funny until it isn't.
Professor Laventon is honestly in awe by these two. their younger then Akari but just as skilled as her, if not a little more so. and while he's not sure about sending two children into the field, he's very thankful for their help. he enjoys listening to (lil) Ingo talk about how he and his brother were raised around all kinds of Dragon Pokemon, different types, moves, tactics. these two also help him touch his first Pokemon outside the three starters.
finally Volo...the twins are actually really scared of this man. causing them to run to for safety behind Melli when Akari brings him to the Coronet hightlands when the Sky turns red, he acted all friendly but they know there's more too it. but no one believes them. nothing to be scared of right? they lose their fear.

In your PLA poly works, how did Emmet cope when Ingo and their s/o were gone? Like in the not yandere way???
in a yandere way lol
○ Emmet was extremely distressed no matter what. Losing his brother was enough to make him cry for weeks, but losing his partner, too? He doesn't even want to get out of bed. What's the point? He's lost his twin, alongside his lover. Functioning was difficult. His apartment reminded him of what he lost, but he wouldn't dare leave, in case either of you magically just showed up at the door. Holding a piece of your clothing, he hides under his covers. Everything is messy and disordered, something he was sure that Ingo would scold him about when you two got back. He finds it hard to even eat, but manages because he knows how much you would fuss over him.
○ Elesa, seeing Emmet in such a pitiful state, takes it upon herself to help him. She stays with him and makes sure he takes care of himself. The model hates to see the younger twin wander around in a loose t-shirt and shorts with greasy, unkempt hair. She reminds him to take showers and makes sure there's something to eat in the apartment. Her frustrations come to a head, and she sits him down, staring into his eyes with heavy dark circles.
○ “Emmet, please,” she started, “Do you think they would have wanted you to be like this?” His silver eyes grew moist as he sniffled. It was clear that the thought had crossed his mind a few times. Hands rubbed at his tears. Elesa held him close to her as he just sobbed. It hurt to see Emmet in a such a state. He clung to her and just let all hid emotions go. In the end, he agreed to talk to a grief counsellor. It was not as if he dared even think either of you were dead, but Elesa's suggestion to go made sense. He was dealing with a circumstance where people he was extremely close to were suddenly gone.
○ To say the therapy made everything better would be a lie, but having someone to vent to and help with the pain of loss certainly helped. Elesa's support was more so what helped with everything. He knew that you and Ingo would hate to see him in such a condition, so he instead moved to make himself busy. He threw himself deeply into his job in such a way that would make even Ingo blush, while working to keep everything functioning as it was. Elesa nagged him to take breaks, but he was the sole Subway Boss currently; a lot of responsibility rested heavily on his shoulders. Everyone was a bit stunned by how much Emmet could handle, but they supposed he was Ingo's twin. It would be natural that he was just as capable as him. (Though, they were all a bit distressed by his decision to wear Ingo's spare cap, no one dared question it. His lonely smile when he took it off to stare at it hurt.)
○ Emmet took to taking care of Ingo's teams with pure adoration and love. Chandelure was admittedly the slowest to take to him, clearly distressed by the vanishing of her closest friend. The ghost type had known him since she was just a Litwick. Eventually, she came around to him. They both had lost Ingo, so they both had something to bond over. The luring pokemon often hung around him, singing mournful songs as she called for her trainer. Emmet could only offer soft pets and coos to comfort the poor thing.
○ There were still days in which he finds it hard to get out of bed, but he always tries to push himself to get up and face the day. His mind is always on where you two could be and if today might be the day you finally return to him. He's accepted he's done all he can, but there's a lingering desire to get out there and search himself. For now, however, he's decided to keep the Gear Station running, as it was his and Ingo's dream to work there. Letting it fail would be letting their shared ambition die, and he would never. The rumours of his supposed lookalike as a “Warden” from an ancient clan in Sinnoh does leave him curious. Maybe, he'd have a vacation and look for himself. (The picture of you and Ingo in a time long since gone reignite his pain all the more. How could this happen? Emmet just wanted to be happy again.)
○ Your return leaves him in utter joy and distress. He clings to you both for dear life and begs for you to never leave him again. Ingo is confused by his new, identical stranger, while you cling to Emmet just as tightly, having missed him terribly.
