Rating Wakfu Couple

3/10 Ogrest X Dathura (canon)

These two are not meant to be in a romantic relationship. Possibly, even with another person. These two are no more that newborns, they have no understanding of what it is to be in this type of relationship. But I found it perfect to be in the same family. They both need love and acceptance. Dathura is therefore more of a big sister than a love interest.

5/10 Eva X Tristepin

I just think that their relationship beginnings (season 1 and season 2) took turns too tight. Their early relationship is really pushed by the authors that at first we wondered: "but why they are together"

At my level, it had them to become parents to look like a couple that is made to last. Until the end or the sad past catches up with them.

6/10 Chibi X Mina (canon)

Calm down at first and know that this couple is CANON and I find it beautiful. I love mythological stories, and in my books when your parents created the universe, you’re going to marry one of your sibling to lead your people and create a world.

And these two have father and mother’s lives for their other brothers and sisters, and for their people.

7/10 Poo X Kali (canon)

Seen in the manga Ogrest. Impossible to expand too much on why without spoiling the story. But these two have a common background and their personality balances perfectly.

7/10 Qilby X Chibi

What better for absolute curiosity than the absolute inventor.

For better understanding of they dinamyc I find this fic resuming all the possibility

(I will not make them all would become a little uniquity otherwise)

8/10 Amalia X Yugo (canon)

Season 4 had to exist and the webtoon took over for me to catch the inter of these two. Even if I have seen this couple build little by little, I find that they have not had enough emblematic or more significant moments. Yes I think of the marriage with Harebourg, if the guy had not had a spider on the ceiling, it would be Amalia X Harebourg in this place and they would have a lower score.

9/10 Qilby X Otomaï

At first, we find the same qualities present as if Qilby was with Chibi. But with a worship more turned towards the future. If he had a deeper redemptive bow, it would be a perfect choice.

Moreover Otomai having taken in complexity in the manga Ogrest and not only in good. But unlike Qilby he tries to learn from his mistakes, the important thing is to try. The idea of seeing these two go a long way together is rather comforting

10/10 Alia X Bordegann (canon)

Perfect fairy tale couple. If we touch their happiness of this little couple I going to be very upset. 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻

10/10 Jiva X Ulgrud (canon)

Lets them reste now, please. 😿

11/10 Noximillien X Galante (canon)

Galante loved her husband and it broke her to go away from him, but she put their child’s life before her happiness. Also, if the chaos of Ogrest had not prevailed, Nox would NEVER have seen the light of day. But it’s their love that makes Nox the best villain we’ve ever had.

20/10 Nora X Amalia

I quickly fell in love with this possible couple. Who in addition to filling the gaps between yumalia and a strong couple. At first, I’m a little biased because Nora, one of my favorite characters from the game on XBOX (2011), not to mention the fears that this character is ruined. She had finally returned. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ (She is doomed but snif) BUT the possibility of these two warrior princesses exists and being together is really my absolute (in this ranking)

Standing in the main room of District nine’s apartments, Nina poured herself a glass of water. Tomorrow the kids would enter the Arena, and there wouldn’t be much she could do for them anymore. She wondered what they were doing, if they were sleeping in their beds, tired from days of training, or if they were still awake, unable to close an eye, just like se was exactly a year before.

The good news was that they could have the chance to get some sponsors. With seven points out of twelve, they were among the tributes who had received the highest scores. Also, the interviews with Caesar had gone brilliantly. Lucas’s stories about the days he spent working with his father and Nora’s memories of her sisters had breached the audience’s hearts, eliciting a long series of oooohs, and aaaaws. Those fuckers loved sentimentalism.

Alfie’s voice resounded in the room, snapping her away from her thoughts.

“No.”

“Me neither,” he said, sitting on a chair. He had dark circles under his eyes, and looked wearier than she had ever seen him. Nina didn’t know what it was, but she was sure there was something else worrying him, besides the Games.

“Rose found two sponsors,” he said, folding his hands in front of him.

“That’s good.”

“Yeah, good,” he groaned, starting to crack his knuckles, his gaze lost in thought. It was clear his mind was somewhere else. There was definitely something more going on, but she knew better than to ask now. “We did the best we could,” he added after a while, seemingly coming back to reality.

“I hope so.” Nina observed the water in her glass as if it would show her the answer to all of her questions. About the kids’ fate, about herself. She hadn’t imagined it would be so heavy to step foot into that place again, and she wondered if it would get any easier, with time. “Feels like going back a year,” she murmured, before taking a sip from her glass.

“I know,” Alfie nodded. It was the same for him every year.

71st Hunger Games - The night before the Games

Nina’s naked feet made no sound on the cold floor as she turned down the corridor to go back to her room. She had left it in the hope that getting out of bed for a while would help her sleep, but she wasn’t sure it would work. She was too agitated, her mind hadn’t given her a second of peace since she had come back from the interviews. Thoughts of the Games had been haunting her the whole time, making it impossible for her to even stay still, let alone sleep. The sight of a lanky frame walking toward her in the semi-darkness made her stop in her tracks, and it was only when the moonlight shone on the person’s face that she was able to make out who it was. Oliver stopped in front of her, a tired look in his eyes.

“Still awake?” He whispered.

She nodded, soothingly rubbing her own arms. “I can’t sleep.”

“Same,” he mumbled, running a hand through his curls. “Maybe we can keep each other some company,” he suggested after a moment of hesitation.

Nina could see it on his face that he was expecting her to refuse. Most of the times she preferred to stay by herself, and usually kept her distance from him, despite his attempts to be friendly. Truth was, getting reaped with somebody she used to know had been a hard blow, and she was scared that if she let herself be close to him it would make everything way harder. But that night the prospect of being alone with her thoughts scared her. She could use some company. So she accepted, letting him into her room. They both sat on her bed, Nina leaning with her back against the headboard, and Oliver on the opposite side, in front of her. After making himself comfortable, he took a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket.

“Where the hell did you get those?” Nina’s eyes widened in bewilderment.

“I have my sources,” he said vaguely, before putting one in his mouth. “Want one?”

Nina thought about it for a moment. The first and last time she had tried was when she stole a cigarette from Salvatore’s pack at the age of fifteen. Maybe it would help her relax, it seemed to work for him. “Why not,” she sighed, leaning forward to take a cigarette from the packet. When she placed it between her lips, Oliver lit it for her before lighting his own.

In the districts, the cigarettes only came from the black market. They were awful, the tobacco was mixed with God knew what, but they were cheap. Salvatore usually exchanged one hundred grams of the grain she provided through the tesserae for them. It wasn’t that much.

Oliver seemed to be used to it, though. Nina figured he must’ve picked up the habit early. She still remembered the day he was suspended from school for being caught smoking in the boys’ lavatory, when he was fourteen.

She grabbed the glass sitting on her bedside table and put it between them so that they could use it as an ashtray. After a few drags, she came to the conclusion that despite the awful taste, they did their job.

When Oliver went to flick the ashes, he missed the glass, accidentally making them fall on the bedsheets. “Oops,” he raised his eyebrows.

“This is the finest cotton of the entire Panem,” Nina scolded him in a high-pitched, exasperated voice, suppressing a grin. You’ll never see bedsheets like this ever again in your life. Literally.

The boy let out a laugh, shaking his head. “You’re terrible.”

“C’mon, my Ella impression is pretty good.”

“It’s Elle,” he chuckled, amused by the fact that after a whole week Nina kept on getting the escort’s name wrong.

“Same fucking thing,” she muttered under her breath, before inhaling the smoke.

For a while neither of them said another word. It was Oliver the first to break the silence, voicing the thought that had been in the back of both of their heads since the Reaping day, but that none of them had ever dared to voice. “I’m scared.”

“Me too,” Nina admitted, the words heavy on her tongue. It felt strange to tell the truth after days of pretending she wasn’t afraid to die, that she was completely in control of herself. All bullshit. She was scared of dying, of being killed in a horrible and painful way, of leaving her family and causing yet another irreparable breach.

“Let’s make a deal,” Oliver said, catching her attention. “If one of us wins, the other’s family will never go hungry again.”

“My family’s too proud to accept help from anyone,” Nina shook her head. If there was something that hadn’t changed, it was the Ferrantes’ unbending pride and stubbornness. “But I promise I’ll take care of yours, if I win.”

Sitting on a couch in the Stockyard, Nina ran her fingers over the bump in her arm, where a woman had injected the tracker that would make sure the Gamemakers always knew her whereabouts. She had taken a shower, brushed her teeth, and was now waiting for Rosebeth to bring her uniform. She was strangely calm, as if it wasn’t her the one who was would be facing death in less than an hour. She felt disconnected, and that was not a good thing. She had to be focused if she wanted to survive the bloodbath.

The uniform consisted of black trousers with several pockets, a black t-shirt and a black jacket. In one of the trousers’ pockets, Rosebeth slipped the small bouncy ball Nina had brought as her token. It belonged to Vittorio.

“The jacket is waterproof,” Rosebeth commented, helping her to wear it. “You might wanna expect rain. It’s thin, but the material will keep you warm at night.”

“If I last until night, that is.”

“Don’t say that,” the stylist scolded her before grabbing a hairbrush. She skilfully styled her hair in four french braids which ended in a braided ponytail. It was a practical hairstyle to wear. It would last over time, and it would keep her long hair out of her face.

They spent what was left of their time together sat on the couch in silence, both aware that there wasn’t much to say at that point. Except for goodbye. Despite trying to keep a brave face, Nina couldn’t stop her leg from bouncing up and down. The wait was definitely the worst part. At that point, she just hoped it would begin soon. A hand rested on her knee, and when she turned her head Rosebeth gave her an encouraging smile. “It’ll be alright,” she said, but even she wasn’t too convinced either.

When a voice announced that it was time to prepare to launch, Nina took a deep breath, getting up from her seat. Rosebeth was soon next to her, but before she could step on the platform, she gently stopped her to fix her jacket. She had the impression the stylist was trying to take some time, for some reason.

“If I…” Nina started, but the lump in her throat prevented the words from coming out. “If I don’t come back-”

“Nina…” Rosebeth tried to stop her, but the younger girl shook her head.

“Please, listen,” she interrupted her. Rosebeth sighed, but stayed silent, giving her the chance to speak. “I know you can’t reach my family, but Alfie can. If I don’t come back, my brother Salvatore needs to know it wasn’t his fault. He’ll need to hear it,” she stressed the last words, looking right into the other woman’s eyes.

Reluctantly, Rosebeth nodded. “Alright.”

That response brought Nina a small glimpse of relief. Salvatore already beat himself up enough after not having the courage to volunteer for Vittorio, he didn’t need other guilt dropped on his shoulders. After one last look, Nina stepped on the metal plate, and the glass lowered around her. It was time.

As the platform slowly started to lift her, bringing her to the place where she’d have to fight for her life, Nina’s brain began to work incessantly, pondering what would be the best thing to do. She could just run away from the Cornucopia while the other tributes were busy fighting, but then she’d have nothing. No weapons, no water, no food or whatever tool she might need. But if she decided to grab something, she’d have to join the fight, and her chances to stay alive would dramatically decrease. However, if she went away with nothing, her chances would decrease all the same. Especially considering the sponsors weren’t on her side.

A light came into her view, and she understood that it was a matter of seconds before she was in the Arena. She had the impression her heart would jump out of her chest at any moment, or stop and kill her before anyone had the chance to. A crippling fear was starting to gnaw at her, making her hands shake, clouding her mind. She closed her eyes, letting out a ragged breath, trying to calm herself. That wasn’t the moment to panic. The humid air hit her face, and she knew she was officially inside. It was only when she opened her eyes that the reality of what was happening crashed down on her.

A voice resounded in the Arena. “Ladies and Gentlemen, let the Seventy-first Hunger Games begin.”

The countdown started. Sixty seconds.

Nina frantically looked at her surroundings, but she was too agitated to actually take in what she was seeing. She had to get a grip on herself, or she’d die within the first minute. Taking a deep breath, she tried her best to focus on what was around her, and find a solution before the countdown ended.

Forty seconds.

A rainforest, it seemed. The platforms were arranged in a circle around the Cornucopia, which was placed in the middle of a huge grassy space, mostly empty, but surrounded by trees in the distance. She’d have to run a lot before reaching the actual forest. If she gave up on the goods the Cornucopia offered, she could make it without fighting. But if she found herself in another tribute’s path without a weapon, she was dead. Fuck. She had to decide, and quickly.

Twenty seconds.

Or she could jump now and let the landmines blow her up. The audience wouldn’t like that. She pushed away the idea, horrified that something like that had even crossed her mind. She had to stay alive. She had promised herself she’d go back home, she couldn’t afford to indulge in that kind of thoughts.

Ten seconds.

There were backpacks, just outside the Cornucopia. She could take one of those, it would be better than nothing. She was fast, way more than the others, if she wasn’t wrong. But what if she was wrong?

Three. Two. One.

Fuck it. Nina jumped off the platform and ran in the Cornucopia’s direction, following her first instinct. As some tributes directly ran away into the woods without and others made the same decision as her, meaning they didn’t have a weapon yet, she reached it almost without trouble. She grabbed the closest backpacks and hid behind one of the multiple corners of the metal structure. She was right, she was the quickest among them, and she had managed to get there first. Chances were, the others hadn’t even seen her, too focused on their target. She figured the Careers, more confident after years of training, would venture into the mouth of the Cornucopia to grab the most valuable supplies, such as weapons and food, while the tributes from the other districts would grab the first things they found in their way and run. If she was right, she’d to wait until all of the tributes who chose take something from the Cornucopia were inside before getting out. Then she’d have to be quick.

Once again, Nina was right. As soon as the Careers entered the giant horn, she fled, her feet barely touching the ground as she ran in the forest’s direction. Behind her, the bloodbath started, and piercing screams reached her ears as the weaker tributes started to die at the hands of the stronger ones. But she ran without looking back, ignoring the screams and the pain in her legs, and kept on running even when she got to the forest, diving into its depths. She’d have plenty of time to study it later.

Nina only stopped when the adrenaline started to wear out, the fatigue threatening to make her knees give out. Panting, she sat on the roots of a tree, taking a few minutes to breathe. She was deep into the forest, probably far away enough from the others to allow herself to rest for a while. And she could take advantage of that moment to check what she had managed to snap up. She opened the black backpack and took out one item at a time.

A bottle. It was empty, much to her disappointment, but she could fill it, if she found a source of water. It was rather small, but capacious enough to last almost a day, if she rationed the water. Not bad.

An apple, half rotten on one side. Delicious.

A napkin. A fucking napkin. She raised her eyebrows in disbelief. Were they kidding her? What the hell was she supposed to do with it? She shook her head, putting it back in the backpack with an annoyed huff. A napkin. Was that some kind of sick joke?

However, Nina’s disappointment disappeared when she went to grab the last item and something sliced her finger. Her gaze lit up as she took the object out. A knife. A sharp knife, with a thick blade. She had barely touched it, yet it had cut her. At least she could put the napkin to good use, she joked to herself, wiping the blood away with the white fabric. She placed the knife in her belt and the rest of the items in the backpack. Then she checked that Vittorio’s bouncy ball was still safe in her pocket, and got up. It was time to explore the Arena a bit.

72nd Hunger Games - First Day

Lucas and Nora had left that morning with the stylists. In a few minutes, Claudius Templesmith would announce the beginning of the 72nd Hunger Games, and they would appear on the screens of the whole Panem, along with 22 other kids sent to the slaughter. In the Training Centre, the room where they would transmit the Games was filling with mentors, who were taking their seats in front of the big screen. Everybody’s nerves were on edge, and the tension was so dense one could cut through it with a knife. Even the older mentors were in a clear state of agitation.

Nina sat in the third row with Alfie, and shortly after a dark-haired woman joined them. Eva Smith, District ten’s mentor. They had never spoken before, but she remembered her from the training, the previous year. District eleven’s mentor, Aveline Young - or Volcano Girl, as everyone called her -, on the other hand, glared at Alfie before walking past him. If she had to be honest, the dynamic between the Victors confused her, and she had been one of them for too short a time to make any sense out of it.

Suddenly, the lights went down, the screen lit up, and Claudius’s voice resounded through the speakers.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, let the Seventy-second Hunger Games begin.”

Journals of the Unknown - Witches of Salem - Episode 03: Just for the Night

This one is a harder episode to put together in its entirety, and I believe it’s about time I introduce a concept that was prevalent throughout the game: the Preliminaries.

What are the Preliminaries? The Preliminaries are a game mechanic that allows the player to learn more about the case at hand without depending on a fully drawn episode and, occasionally, without depending on Jane Goodhart’s presence at all. These interludes often provide the player with unimportant information to the overall pacing of the story, but still relevant enough for the context of it - for example, during the time that is yet to come in which Jane runs in trouble with the police, the Preliminaries are spent with Jasper and Ben, who discover that officer Stewart takes bribes from Gregorious Putnam - ; sometimes, though, it provides the player with information on how Jane would go from episode x to episode y.

And here’s where the problems with this recap start: the Preliminaries are missing, and therefore I have no idea how to trace the fact that Jane Goodhart went from being unconscious in the forest to visiting a hotel by the road. I can induce that she woke up, and that Eva Hope had either left instructions on how to find said hotel or that Jane found documents in her camp that led her to the place. All of that is only especulation, though.

Onto the episode: Jane Goodhart finds a simple hotel by the road and decides to stop by, possibly because she believes that Eva was there before. She enters the reception and, upon finding no one, starts to investigate on her own. She starts by entering on the digital database that keeps track of the clients, and she does so by using Nora Bradstreet’s birthday as a password. She discovers that Eva was, indeed, at that hotel recently. The next step is to invade the “glasses safe” where she keeps the keys - which she does with a clip - and get the key that opens Eva’s old room.

Inside, she notices that the carpet looks strange. Upon taking it away from a part of the floor, she notices that some of the wood looks different than the rest of it. With a GODDAMN CROWBAR she destroys that part of wood, and she finds a weirdly shaped ring: it has a pentagram star on it, and it seems to be... well, impractical to wear, unless you want to sting yourself. She also sees a red card, but before she can check it, all of the lights go off. There is a running sillhouette behind her, but it’s too fast for her to check.

Jane leaves the room, and goes to find the circuit breaker to fix it, which for some reason in a basement? Listen, it’s complicated to explain, so I’ll just show the picture and if anyone can tell me what this is and IMG ID it, I would thank you so much:

Anyway, after she goes into Brazil, she’s locked up and can not get out. She’s trapped inside of the “basement”.
