Ooooh newest idea for a SVSSS AU!

SVSSS Omegaverse AU where Omegas can reject Alphas who try to bond with them and there are physical consequences for it!

Now, usually in Bingqiu Omegaverse Fics we have some way that the bond happens. LBH bites SQQ when he runs away in Jinlan City, or something happens in the water prison, or even in maigu ridge and SQQ eventually completes the bond.

An Universe where rejecting the bond as it's made has consequences or hurts the Alpha would be an interesting concept to combine with that!

First of all, SQQ would have thoughts about it. He would have hated the Omegaverse part, of course, but he also might not know how much a rejection would hurt an Alpha or how that rejection happens. LBG, of course, wouldn't be rejected by any of his wives.

There's a chance of a minor villain trying that with a future wife though, though it wouldn't be on screen probably. LBG would rush in to save her right after in appropriate timing.

So, he doesn't know, and doesn't ask. As no one would ever reject LBH he might not even realize what he did until it hits him in the face with a fence post!

And then Jinlan City happens. LBH hunts him down, pins him to a wall and all SQQ is thinking is that he's scared. He doesn't want to be hurt. He doesn't want this.

But LBH, high on adrenaline from the chase and dizzy from being so close to him, leans towards his throat not with the intention to hurt but with the wish to bond with SQQ. To never let him go.

He pulls at his collar, but SQQ is too scared of him ripping his limbs off to think rationally about what is happening. All he can think of is the hand that pulled the collar to the side having moved more towards his shoulder with the motion.

LBH bites him, and SQQ, scared about something else entirely, rejects him immediately. And LBH can feel that, through the bond he attempted to create. The panic, the fear, building into a wall to protect SQQ from him. The bond crumbles, burns, withers And LBH can feel every bit of it.

It's like a truth burned into his soul. A physical wound in his mind, a scab he constantly comes across and reopens. SQQ doesn't want this. He's scared. LBH scared him.

I think he would have startled back as if he had been hit. Stumbled backwards away from SQQ to give him space and maybe to lessen the pain the broken bond gives him. I think he would apologize and run.

And SQQ would stand there stunned, mind racing with the realization that LBH tried to bond with him. He would assume that it was Xin Mo, or his instincts, and that the bond failed because LBH didn't actually want to bond with him.

And so the misunderstanding continues!

If Maigu ridge still happens, LBH will wake up from his Qi deviation to a fully accepted bond with SQQ, who eventually learned about the rejection thing.

I'm not even sorry but if you're unironically trying to argue that Max is against this driver swap because he feels "threatened by Yuki" I'm going to simply conclude you lack critical thinking skills.

Shen Qingqiu is poisoned with those sex pollen again- and about a month and a half later, Shen Qingqiu has morning sickness.

Thanks to Mu Qingfang its confirmed: he will really have his husband's child! Oh shit, oh shit- Well, it's not that they were actively trying to have children, but after more than five years of marriage, these things happen, don't they? The natural order of things? Get married, settle down, have babies?

The idea not bad, really, and Shen Qingqiu's terror fades away in the face of his husband's adoration. Everything is okay. Everything will be okay.

... when Shen Qingqiu is two months pregnant, one morning he finds his husband, the Emperor, the Heavenly Demon, weak and nauseous from the smell of his own cooking. Shen Qingqiu comforts him, drags him to rest and finishes making some congee himself. He have read a lot about couples sharing pregnancy symptoms for some reason, so it's not abnormal. Also he's not such a disastrous cook now!

However, Luo Binghe genuinely still looks pale and sick with that smell. Shen Qingqiu dismisses breakfast, he is not that hungry after all. His husband cries a little in his arms with its thick crocodile tears and they both sleep off the morning.

The problem is that Luo Binghe's symptoms continue. He can hardly tolerate strong scents, and is even worse than Shen Qingqiu. He cannot tolerate scents from many foods, hair oils, or perfume. Even scented soaps are too much for his nose. Worried, Shen Qingqiu decides that they should go see Mu Qingfang, whether it is something of mirror symptoms or Luo Binghe feeling all the symptoms stronger than Shen Qingqiu for some reason.

The reason is that Luo Binghe is also pregnant.

Shen Qingqiu falls silent, almost as stunned as Luo Binghe. He had... Well, sex pollen had been a crazy thing! Whatever had happened that night had been crazy too! Shen Qingqiu had practically forgotten that part… How could it be such a fertile thing?!

And Luo Binghe wants to continue being and doing everything - not being able to cook for his husband practically devastates him, and not being able to eat anything his husband cooks is almost worse.

And they are just entering their third month.

Shen Qingqiu knows it can only get better (no sarcasm) once they get through the first trimester. No very bad symptoms, just some hormones and little baby bumps growing. Shen Qingqiu finds it endearing and adorable. He really wants that to happen.

... his husband hasn't even finished with the unpleasant symptoms when he starts having cravings. Strange and chaotic cravings that Luo Binghe cannot explain and Shen Qingqiu recognizes as demonic foods forgotten by god and man.

God forbid. Shen Qingqiu will strangle Shang Qinghua for inventing those damn fertile fucking flowers. Or he'll get him to move that limp ass of a fourth-rate writer to bring a demonic feast to his pregnant husband. Whichever comes first.

We've all heard stories about Danny Phantom, where he ends up guarding Dani's, Dan's, or the clones' cores inside his body… We've also heard stories where Danny ends up kidnapped and so injured that he has to hide inside his core and ends up being cared for by someone who doesn't know exactly what's going on…

But what if, for example, instead of being cared for like a gem, Danny's core ends up implanted in Jason?…

I mean, imagine one night on patrol, Red Hood is touring his territory when, out of nowhere, a purple shadow with red eyes attacks them. It passes so quickly through him that he only thinks he's hallucinating because of the x number of days he's gone without sleep because of the last case.

there are a lot of reasons already to love Everything Everywhere All At Once but in the year 2024 it's still the only media I've seen deliberately portray inattentive-type adhd and how it affects women and even how it coincides with depression. when I was growing up, adhd characters were always stereotyped as just the hyperactive male, comedic relief kid characters who talked too fast. but inattentive-type looks much different (spacing out, forgetfulness, poor attention, carelessness) and it flies under the radar as a result. which is why so many don't get diagnosed until they are an adult.

though to be fair, that movie raises the bar by a lot already because I don't think I'll ever feel as seen as I am seeing a woman whose parallel lives are just "me if I ever stuck with one single hobby or special interest and saw it through" or who feels like she's in different universes entirely when she zones out.
