"Prince Taehyung held her tenderly, tucking a golden lock behind her ear. Jieun gasped and the prince got closer, lips just a millimeter away and so soft looking..."
Jeongguk writes down the last words with a lovesick sigh, his handwriting round and curly. According to the gossip he has heard, it's one of the reasons why most people think the author of "The Rose and the Thorn" is a woman. That, plus a commonly rigid mindset and the fact that Jeongguk never showed his face, and signed his works with an anonymous "J.J."
Not that Jeongguk wrote every book by hand, of course. At first he did, the only ones privy to his guilty pleasure the people near him. A group of five, maybe six people at max, and only to them he passed the ink stained pages as he wrote them.
He had always dreamed about becoming a writer but he had no illusions about becoming famous with... these. Imagined stories with the royal heir as the protagonist - tales of star-crossed lovers and intrigues at the palace. He took the name of a female noble he found pretty enough and made her the co-star, furiously hoping that if he wrote "she" instead of "he", people wouldn't be able to tell that he wrote himself into his own work, that he is the starry eyed romantic interest that the fictional version of Prince Taehyung falls in love with.
Jeongguk has always dreamed of becoming a writer, sure, but he kinda doesn't want the fameto be born from absurd fantasies about the soon-to-be king.
It isn't like he would become famous with that. Yeah, "The Rose and the Thorn" (a title he choose randomly at the beginning and now regards with a grimace) is getting popular among his peers, but Jeongguk lives in a tiny village in the mountains. No one outside of it will ever read it - surely no one from the capital.
He doesn't think it will be too popular there, anyway. He doesn't know a lot about politics and what it's happening in the palace, but apparently a lot of nobles are pushing for the second prince, Taehyung's brother, to take the throne. Prince Taehyung has all kind of malicious rumors around himself - with his penetrating gaze, cold attitude and relentless drive against the ones who stand in his path, it's no wonder that many think of him as cruel. It isn't true (Jeongguk knows that) but it's easy to trick the common folk and the lesser nobles as well. It's just a matter of weaving the right tale.
The capital doesn't like its future king. Jeongguk would be worried for the prince, for his safety, if it wasn't for the fact that Prince Taehyung has the military on his side and the law. No one will ever dare to touch him.
Oh, Jeongguk wishes he could touch him. See him from up close. He still remembers when he was little and lost in the forest, and the prince saved him so chivalrously. Maybe it's wrong to idolize someone so deeply after something so small, but can you blame him? He was only 7 years old at the time, the prince barely 9, and yet Prince Taehyung came to his rescue, so gallant and noble! With eyes sparkling like jewels, and he did not smile but his hand felt so warm and-
Jeongguk is interrupted in his musing by a knock at the door.
A frantic and powerful one, followed by many others until he worries that the door will cave under the onslaught. His parents have no reason to be this brutish and so Jeongguk swallows as he rises, sudden unease taking his heart hostage. He opens the door with trembling hands and he manages to see two guards standing there, decked in full armor and with swords hanging on their belts, before they shove something in his face and then, Jeongguk is asleep.
---
He wakes with a gasp and knows immediately that he isn't in his home. The ceiling is too high, the couch is lying on too lavish. Everything is decorated with gold and marble and the kind of materials Jeongguk writes about in his novel.
Not his village for sure.
"I'm very sorry for our rude manners."
Jeongguk turns to the side. There's another couch in front of him and two people sit. Not the ones who knocked him out, though.
One of them, the one who spoke, is a man. A stunning one, his hair silver and the color weaved in his garments too. His clothes are luxurious and regal looking, but they are a very clearly a uniform of some kind. A fancy one, but a uniform nonetheless.
"Allow me to introduce myself: I am Count Park Jimin, royal advisor. I work for the crown, and for the Kim family."
Holy fuck. Royal Advisor. Jeongguk doesn't really know Park Jimin, but he knows about Count Park. Prince Taehyung's most trusted confidante.
(He may have wrote about him - about them - once or twice. In... scandalous settings. The kind of writings that must NEVER see the light of day, something even worse than "The Rose and the Thorn". He feels his face go aflame, but he doesn't dare utter anything.)
"It may be difficult to believe me, but we mean no harm."
At the mention of "we", Jeongguk looks at the other figure sitting there. They look male too, with long legs and a lean build. Imposing and threatening even when sitting down, despite the lack of armor or weapons. Their clothing is all dark as night, less flashy than the count's, and a dark cloak covers most of their figure. They don't look as important as the count, but they emanate an aura of power that it's impossible to ignore.
A guard? Another noble? He is left wondering. Jeongguk doesn't trust his voice, so he simply nods and hope the count will explain what is happening.
"Are you familiar with this?"
Count Park gives him a book and Jeongguk first instinct is to say no, because the cover isn't familiar. Until he reads the title. 'The Rose and the Thorn' is written in elegant cursive on the cover, the letters golden and fancy-looking. Jeongguk feels himself pale.
"This- I'm- how do you-"
"It's a very popular novel in the capital," replies Count Park, a pleasant smile on his face. Jeongguk wonders if it's fake or genuine, and he hopes it's the latter.
"I've read it," he continues, as Jeongguk flushes crimson, "and I love it! Very well written, full of passion. Inaccurate but it's fiction, isn't it?"
"Yes!" interjects Jeongguk, eager to defend himself. "I'm very sorry it reached the capital- I had no intentions- I didn't- I wasn't the one who published it. I just, hmm, just wanted to... write."
It's a pathetic excuse and he hangs his head in shame. Count Park has read it. On a different occasion, Jeongguk would be overjoyed to know such a distinguished man has read his work. But if he's here, brought before him with a kidnapping, the royal palace clearly isn't happy with the novel.
Will he be imprisoned? Hanged? For defamation, or a worse offence?
"You just wanted to write," drawls the count and it sounds predatory, "but you did much more. Tell me, is this how you see Prince Taehyung? Noble and kind? Even... sweet?"
The figure in dark kicks the count's leg with a hiss, but Jeongguk is distracted and doesn't notice. "Oh, he is like that!! I know for sure! He is my prince and I have the utmost respect for him- he shines so brightly, he is so determined and fair and-"
"I'm glad to hear that Jeongguk," interrupts the count, sounding like he's barely repressing a laugh, "and I'm very glad that's how you decided to represent him in your book. Even when we know Prince Taehyung is a cruel man."
Jeongguk is impulsive. He's driven by his heart and his passion, and he never backed down when it mattered. He can't help it. So when he hears the count speaking like that, he steadies his voice and glares at him. "With all due respect, I know that Prince Taehyung is fair and just. Just because some petty noble put those rumors around doesn't mean that they are true. And excuse my audacity, but shouldn't a royal advisor know this?"
His hands are trembling but Jeongguk doesn't avert his gaze. Park Jimin's eyes are sharp and icy, wearing him down to the bone, making him shiver.
Until they aren't. Jeongguk doesn't back down and Count Park relaxes, his frown turning into a smile. He leans back on the couch and chuckles. "You hear, Tae? You got a fan."
The figure in black doesn't answer for a while. Jeongguk can tell they are looking at him, but he doesn't understand why.
And then, they speak. "Jeon Jeongguk," they says, the voice is low and deep. The kind of voice that Jeongguk loves, that he craves. It reminds him of-
The man pulls off the hood in a quick motion and Jeongguk stops breathing. Black hair, sharp eyes. A face he dreamed about for so long. Prince Taehyung looks even colder from up close. He looks stern and intense, even scary.
He looks at Jeongguk, piercing and deep. Like he does in his novel.
"We need your help. And it should be easy: I just need you to write more."
or: After some rumors start painting the future king as a cruel monster, life gets more difficult for Taehyung. Nobles want his brother to rise to the throne and he knows exactly why - he's younger, naive, and easily controlled. He won't let them do that.
But his reputation is shit and he can't do anything about it. Public opinion can be fixed with a forced hand. Until a book catches his attention.
He doesn't know where does 'the Rose and the Thorn' come from, but Jimin brings it to him and explains why it matters. And Taehyung notices - the next time he parades around the city, there's less hatred and more longing gazes. The nobles painted him as a monster. And the book painted him as a kind, romantic hero.
The people don't like the nobles that much. But the book?
Oh, they like it a lot. So he "invites" (kidnaps) the author to his court with a proposition. More books, more stories to mend his reputation. All to be done in secret of course.
Jeongguk doesn't have an hard time accepting. And if maybe he hangs around the prince more than he should, well! A writer needs inspiration. And Jeongguk writes love stories. Prince Taehyung doesn't need to know that Jeongguk imagines himself as the heroine.
Jeongguk lives out his deepest, sappiest dreams and writes them in his books. A book that Taehyung reads, so he's quick to realize that wait, didn't this exact scenario happen just a few weeks ago?
"Of course I have to romanticize even where there's no romance! Like between the two of us! It's a writer's duty to dream up things!"
The problem is, Taehyung is a little shit. Once he catches on, he starts doing things on purpose just to read Jeongguk's point of view a week or month later, when the new chapter inevitably comes out. It's like being directly in Jeongguk's mind and knowing firsthand what makes him weak in the knees, what causes his heart to beat the fastest.
And Taehyung has always been a quick study. Jeongguk's writing becomes a manual he studies diligently, becoming a master in it just as he did with politics and history. Jeongguk dedicates an entire chapter about the time he tripped and Taehyung caught him at the last second, putting much emphasis on his "deep black eyes, gazing straight into her (his) soul" and "his dark hair framing his perfect face" and "his arms, strong around her (his) waist" and... well, actually, another 50 or so mentions of his arms.
Alright. Taehyung gets it. The cute author likes to be wrapped in his arms. Noted.
As a prince, Taehyung is implacable. As a person he's even worse, and so he does his best to reenact that kind of scenario, over and over again.
Every time, Jeongguk is a flustered mess. Every time he writes it into the book because it's exceptional material, okay? He's trying to do his job. It isn't like the prince is doing it on purpose or anything.
"Hey Jeongguk," Yoongi, his editor, tells him one day, "the heroine tripped six times in this chapter so... maybe you can tone it down a little-"
"She's CLUMSY, OKAY????? She TRIPS!!!! not my fAuLt!!!! it just HAPPENS. for NO REASON at ALL, okay?????"
Seokjin doesn't comment on his outburst. He simply straightens his mouth in a thin line and averts his eyes as if saying "yeah, sure" which is infinitely worse.
But Jeongguk cannot be blind to the evidence forever. After a while, he figures out that the more he writes about a trope, the more the prince does it. Or so it seems.
Testing his theory is easy. Before coming to the palace he only had his imagination and daydreaming to go on, after all, so writing 60 pages about a forehead kiss (something that definitely didn't happen, or he would've combusted on the spot) is not really a struggle.
After the chapter comes out, the prince is... fidgety. Blushing every time their eyes meet. Very uncharacteristic of the usually cocky man.
A week later, Jeongguk gets his forehead kiss. The excuse for it is frankly stupid and they both malfunction so badly that it's painful to see but... yeah. It happens.
(And it happens because Taehyung has spent a week building up courage and excuses for himself like "oh wow he really must like forehead kisses a lot I should. yeah. I should give him one for. Realism. yeah.")
Yoongi, the royal librarian, is basically Jeongguk's editor and beta reader which means... he has to read over 70+ pages of flirting and sexual tension and then SEE IT with his OWN EYES. He wants to set the manuscript on fire. He wants to set the two idiots on fire. He's so done with this.
As the novel goes on, Taehyung's character becomes less "trope-ish prince sweeping the princess off her feet" and more like... himself. He's kind and sweet, sure, but he's playful too and blunt, and sometimes he doesn't express himself well and comes out as harsh and cold. It gets more accurate and Jeongguk writes everything - not everything about the prince (he leaves out the bad moments and his weaknesses because he's writing fluff, not angst and the people don't need to know. They don't need to know everything) but everything about how he feels with him. His emotions are so painfully clear on paper that when he writes the heroine saying "I love you", he chokes and crosses it out because it never happened and it'll never happen either.
Describing the heroine gets harder. He stops mentioning her long hair, her dresses and, as the novel's Taehyung gets more accurate, the heroine becomes nebulous. No detail is offered about her, her emotions and feelings are the only thing clear on the paper, stark black against white. The rest is up to the readers' imagination, because... because it hurts too much. It hurts writing "she" and "her", it hurts writing Tae looking at someone else with a soft gaze, even if it's a someone Jeongguk invented. Yes, Jieun is fictional, but she still has more chances than him to marry the prince.
One time Yoongi gives him back his draft, edited and corrected. He offers no comments, but Jeongguk sees a "his raven hair" crossed out, corrected with "her blonde hair". He's so ashamed that the next chapter takes twice as lomg.
The readers want more. They want intimate scenes, they want details, and Jeongguk can't give them anymore. He tries writing a scene only to end up throwing everything away - Taehyung and Jieun aren't the same height, Jieun has small hands, it's "skirt" not "breeches" and she doesn't stain her clothes with ink, doesn't have it under her nails and on her face when she falls asleep on her manuscript. No, Jieun is a noble and she's perfect for the future king. Just like Jeongguk wrote her to be.
In the end, it's Jimin that comes to help. "You know," he says, gaze gentle but with the hint of a smirk, "when I first read the novel I couldn't stop laughing at Tae."
"Because I wrote that he said things like 'preposterous' on a daily basis?"
Jimin laughs. "That too. But it's more about... his tastes in the novel."
Jeongguk looks at him with a frown. Jimin sighs. Two dumb idiots.
"He has always told me he would never marry. Never. At first I didn't understand - he has to, for an heir."
Jeongguk feels a pang. Yeah, he knows.
"I told him it was inevitable, but he is a stubborn mule. And I figured it out a bit later. It's not about wedding or having a family - he likes the idea of those. But not the kind of marriage I kept proposing him."
He doesn't understand. He doesn't get what Jimin is trying to tell him. Jimin sighs. "The reason why I laughed at your novel is that it's very accurate, except for one thing. The heroine."
"My heroine is perfect," scoffs Gguk, because it's true. He crafted her to be. "Tell me Jimin, what does my heroine lacks?"
Jimin looks at him with an annoyed frown and tired with beating around the bush, he blurts out: "Your heroine lacks a dick, Jeongguk."
Jeongguk chokes on his tea, almost inhales it and feels it in his nostrils. He coughs for a few minutes, gasping and his mind working frenziedly but somehow coming up blank.
"You- I'm- but, no! He- he isn't-"
"The only reason he isn't proposing right now," interrupts Jimin, deadpan, "is that he's somewhat convinced you are the one who doesn't like men."
"Me???" he screeches in answer because Jeongguk likes men, yes, definitely. He wrote like 5 books about a very specific man he likes a lot.
"Yeah, I know. It's so obvious it's painful, you probably write odes about his cock."
Jeongguk splutters, but doesn't deny. He isn't good at lying so he better keep his mouth shut.
"But since you always wrote about a man with a woman, he got into his thick skull that that's the only option you contemplate. So. Stop moping and go s-"
Jeongguk flees before he can hear Jimin say more. And then he finds the prince and they talk and yes, Taehyung likes men and Jeongguk likes men and women but he has eyes for one man only so that isn't really a problem. And it's a kind of relationship that isn't unheard of, they wouldn't be the first in the whole realm or anything like that, but it's still strange for most people and Jeongguk is scared.
They worked so hard to make Taehyung's reputation better, what if this makes it plummet again? But the prince's response to this is "fuck what the people think" and that he isn't afraid to say what he wants, what he is.
Jeongguk takes a while to be comfortable with it, not to feel ashamed, but it helps that in the castle you either love Taehyung for who he is or you hate him for what he represents, and since Jeongguk doesn't have any reason to mingle with people who don't love their king, he only hears praises and reassurances.
Taehyung never believed in dynasty anyway, so when they ask where's his heir he says he has no intention of dying any soon, so they better fuck off and leave him alone.
They eventually get married and adopt a lot of children, and Taehyung nominates an offcial heir only when he's old, his hands withered. Jeongguk is beside him, his eyesight so ruined by age that he struggles to read but it doesn't matter, because he doesn't need to write stories anymore. He has lived his best one yet and he already knows it's the final chapters now.
It feels wrong to say they are going towards their happy ending - in most stories (in 'the Rose and the Thorn' too), the ending happens when the characters are young and happy, when they think "this is it, this is happiness". And if that's how it is, then Jeongguk knows that he has already got many, many happy endings.
This is almost like a brand new story.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
The memory of the precise moment you fell for Jungkook remains vivid in every corner of your mind. How could you not, honestly?
He was a year older than you in high school. Typically exuding a reserved and shy demeanor, the sophmore was exceptionally good at basketball and other sports. Not that you were far behind; you could effortlessly win against majority of the students in any given sport. Everyone but Jungkook it seemed.
The pretty boy had throngs of admirers. You honestly understood them but you could feel yourself groan with annoyance everytime he beat you at a sport you practiced for days. Yes, he annoyed you, a sentiment he was well too aware of.
The boy didn't attend school as often, he had his future laid out in front of him, his father being a huge businessman in Busan.
You couldn't say that you hadn't heard of his father's reputation but you certainly could tell that Jungkook was pretty intimidated by him.
"Maybe she just likes you!" His friend answered much too loudly when Jungkook asked about why you disliked him.
He just laughed, "I wish. But I have a rough feeling that it has something to do with the fact that I demolish her at every game."
They were sitting together in the gymnasium during their lunch break, stealing glances at your direction, Jungkook wasn't the only one with admirers, you had your fair share of them.
Jungkook couldn't admit it openly but he had a crush on you. His feelings were shared only to the ones closest to him.
"You should really tell her, you know." His friend suggested.
"And-"
"And risk your father knowing? Man, just try it. You can brush it off as a rumor if it gets out."
Jungkook sighed, his desire for you practically consumed him.
He looked at you yet again. He knew it was a huge risk, but fuck. The way you laughed with your friends, the way your eyes glistened with purity, everything made him want to hug you and whisper the cheesiest of words into your ear. You were pretty, so pretty.
He couldn't risk it, right? But maybe he could give it a shot.
Jungkook's friend invited you to a local park that same evening since Jungkook couldn't muster up enough courage to do it himself. He picked one where the public consisted mostly the elderly to reduce the chances of him being noticed.
"Namjoon-hyung, you sure this jacket looks good?" Jungkook panicked. "I have to be there in 15 minutes."
His older friend sighed, "You could just tell us you're going on a date; it's obvious. We won't be that mad you know."
"It's not a date, I'm just meeting a....friend."
"Sure you are, that's why you got the biggest bouquet."
As Jungkook hurriedly made his way to the park, his mind raced with anticipation and nerves. The weight of the bouquet in his hands served as a constant reminder of the leap of faith he was about to take.
Despite his attempts to brush off Namjoon's teasing, the truth was undeniable: he was about to meet you for what felt like the most important moment of his life.
There you were, squatting down near the pup of an elderly couple. Your hair catching the golden sunlight and framing your face ever so beautifully.
This was the first time he saw you outside of school and without the uniform or gym clothes. You were wearing a simple skirt and a jacket to protect from the chilly weather, the soft hues blending perfectly with your complexion. He made a mental note of how good your sense of clothing was.
But that moment sparked a certain sense of determination in the teenage boy's head. He had to have you. It was that exact moment when he decided that he'll marry you and only you one day, keep you close to him forever.
Maybe you'd decline his proposal to take you out on a date, maybe you'd slap him for being delusional, but he simply didn't care then.
He approached you, and squatted beside you softly petting the dog.
"Jungkook?" You furrowed your eyebrows, attention shifting from the puppy to him.
"Y/N?"
"You're late, you know?" You huffed, feigning annoyance. Getting up, you started walking around the serene lake, Jungkook walking beside you.
"I know, I'm sorry." He cleared his throat, it being way too dry for his liking. You looked at the flowers in his hands and figured they were for you.
"So, why did you invite me here? Oh well, technically your friend did."
Jungkook needed water and was hoping he could dive into the lake. But the way you looked at him made him question if that would be enough to hydrate him.
"I- uh- was thinking..."
"You're awfully confident while playing, you know. You should really bring that over into your actual personality."
He remembered what his hyung, Namjoon taught him, 'Question, joke and complement.'
"Uh- do you come here often?" That was dumb, Jungkook realised as soon as it came out of his mouth.
"No, not really. I wish I did, my parents don't really allow me to go out that often."
"Oh, why is that?"
"What if someone, like you, kidnaps me?" You laughed, "Wouldn't be be a pretty situation, right?"
Jungkook relaxed a bit, your attitude didn't seem inapproachable at all. He had talked to you multiple times, but all after you lost a game against him. To be fair, he'd be annoyed too.
It was the complement stage, and Jungkook meant it when he said, "Your hair, it's really pretty- like you."
You blushed uncontrollably. This was the first time someone had called you pretty. Now it was your turn to shy away from him.
Jungkook thought it was so unbearable, that he couldn't hold it in anymore. He had to ask you. He had to get your answer. Seeing you blush made him even more infatuated with you.
"I uh- invited you here today to ask you something." He started.
You looked up at him with those bewitching eyes that had him at a loss for words. But he still managed to say, "Go out with me?"
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
A week after you rejected Jungkook, you were very unfortunately invited to watch the boys' basketball game. Ofcourse, Jungkook was going to be there, the thought made you want to crawl into your bed and hibernate till it was all over.
Jungkook was a great person, handsome, smart, and at times more shy than he should be. He was the typical high school crush and so much more.
Jungkook asking you out, despite the fact you had a slight distaste towards him, felt like a dream. But dreams are called dreams because they are too good to be true, right?
Jungkook was not the problem, never was. It was your strict parents. Telling them that you had a boyfriend was a suicide mission in itself.
After your refusal to date him, Jungkook had a huge mental breakdown and decided it'd be best if followed the path made for him by his father.
"You know, you're staring." Gaeul nudged your arm. Her remark made you quickly come out of your daze.
"At Jungkook? No way, I was just looking at the uh-"
"I think he knows you're staring."
"Fuck, should we leave?" You asked.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
You didn't leave but stayed longer than anyone. The court was empty at this point except for the janitors who exchanged looks that probably translated, 'When's this one leaving?'
You felt a presence sit a foot next to you on the bleachers.
"Hey." He said. Jungkook was all showered and fresh. Hair still damp from it and skin smelling like soap.
"I should leave, shouldn't I?" You chuckled.
"Y/n, can I ask you something?"
You nodded.
"Why do you care what your parents think?"
"What?" You looked at him surprised.
"Are you sure you rejected me because you don't like me?"
"Jungkook, I-"
"Your friend, Gaeul told me how your parents will practically skin you alive if you date someone."
"I'm sorry but I can't go against them."
"Do you like me?" He shifted closer to you on the bench.
"I can't, Jungkook. Why don't you understand?"
"Do you like me?" He simply asked.
"I do, a lot."
With that he put an arm around your waist and pulled you closer to his body. The heat he radiated was overwhelming. You had never been this close to a boy before. Your stomach did a flip seeing how close his face was.
"That day, when I saw you, I realised, that I can't imagine taking a single step without you. I have no idea what happened to me, but I'm glad it did."
"Jungkook, I can't." You whispered.
"You don't seem like you mean it, say what you want."
You knew neither of your parents would approve of this but fuck, the pretty boy's eyes did something to your heart. It made you want to cry, something about him pulled you, and it was significant.
This was the exact moment you fell for him.
"I want to be your girlfriend."
Pulling you closer than humanly possible, he kissed you.
There goes your first kiss.
You felt so soft, your cocoa butter lip balm smelling ever so sweet, he wondered if it would taste like cocoa butter too, spoiler: it did.
Jungkook held you so delicately, kissing you like you were a fragile sculpture bound to crumble.
"Hey, get your asses out of here!" one of the janitors yelled.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"Y/n! What is the meaning of this?" Your father yells at you.
"Dad, this is..." You tried to explain who the boy with his arm around your waist was.
You were in the final year of high school and Jungkook was already in college. This was the first time you brought Jungkook home to introduce him to your parents.
"Young woman, get yourself upstairs to your bedroom, I'll get rid of this... guy" His voice still holding lots of anger and disappointment.
You sigh, "Dad, this is Jungkook. He's... my boyfriend."
Your dad was speechless, and the disappointment was through the roof.
"We've been together for 3 years now." I gulp.
"That's enough!" He yells. "This is not what we expected from you. 3 years? You've been hiding this for 3 years now?"
Jungkook decided to speak up, "Sir, I love your daughter and she loves me. I promise you, she's the girl I'll marry. I hope you'll understand that" His grip on my waist tightens reassuringly.
You look at Jungkook, he had said these words a million times but now, in front of your father? This was something entirely different.
You take a deep breath, "Dad, I don't care if you give your blessings to our relationship or not, I just wanted you to know that I have him, I have Jungkook."
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
You had somehow managed to get into the same prestigious university as your boyfriend and decided that you'll finally live together.
Your father couldn't say no to your relationship even if he wanted to. He cared more for your happiness and though he wasn't sure about Jungkook, he decided it would be the best to let you be your own person.
"Jungkook?" You look over your shoulder, hearing the sound of the door opening.
"You stayed up? I told you not to." Jungkook, sits beside you on the couch. He leans in and kisses your forehead.
"I couldn't sleep without you. You know how much I love your warmth." You rest your head on his chest.
Looking back, you should've placed the familiar scent that didn't smell like Jungkook which lingered on his shirt.
He pulled you closer to him, "I'm sorry."
"For what?" You look up at his face, he was on the verge of tearing up.
"I-"
"Jungkook, hey." You cup his face and place a small peck on his lips. "You can tell me anything." You place your forehead against his.
"I don't know, I'm sorry for everything." He sobbed.
"What do you mean?" You peck his forehead, his nose, his cheek, everything you can you show him how much you loved him.
"I promise you, I love you."
"I know, Jungkook. I love you too. I promise. More than anything."
Jungkook cried in your arms, muttering around a hundred sorry's. He never said why he was apologising.

"Just close your eyes." Your best friend, Gaeul urged you. You were highly suspicious of what was going to happen.
You were 22, fresh out of college and currently on a vacation with your closest friends and ofcourse, the love of your life, Jungkook.
"Gaeul, can you atleast tell me where we are going?" You feel the cold sand under your feet. A mix of chilly and windy was perfect to describe the evening.
"And now, open them." She quickly lets go of you and giggles as she leaves you in the middle of the beach.
But it wasn't dark like you had anticipated it to be, instead the perimeter was decorated with fairy lights and candles, which surprisingly didn't go out.
But something that shined brighter than any light on that beach was Jungkook.
He walked towards you and got down on one knee. His heart pounded with a mixture of nerves and excitement. He took your hand in his, feeling the warmth of your touch against his skin, grounding him in this moment of pure love and vulnerability.
You immediately knew what this was, "J-Jungkook..."
The air is filled with the scent of saltwater and the sound of seagulls in the distance, creating a serene backdrop for what is about to unfold.
"My dearest Y/N," he began, his voice quivering with emotion, "From the very first moment I laid eyes on you, I knew that my life would never be the same. You've been my guiding light, my source of strength, my reason to smile even on the darkest of days."
You smiled, the love was evident in every action of his.
"Do you remember our first kiss? Or hell, our first date at the old people park? Looking at you that day, I realised, you were the only one I've ever wanted in my life. The love that you gave me, I have only strived to return it to you."
He pulls out a small purple velvet box from his pocket.
"So, you let me be your first kiss, but would you let me be your last? Will you... Kim Y/n, marry me?"
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"I'll be late again, don't stay up." Jungkook said through the phone.
"I know, but I was hoping to help you relieve some stress today." You bite your lip.
He chuckled, "I'll be fine, I promise. Now be a good girl and go to sleep, yeah?"
"Alright, just be safe. Love you."
Jungkook had been coming awfully late for the past few months. Something about his dad's company being passed down to him. But when he did come home at 4 in the morning, he held a particular scent which seemed really familiar to you.
You weren't a fool afterall, it was a perfume, a ladies' perfume. But you knew, Jungkook had a sensitive nose, he preferred women's perfumes more than men's strong colognes.
And you knew, Jungkook did not have a single female in his life except his mother and his cousins.
So you didn't think much or pay much attention to your husband sneaking inside the covers at 2 in the morning, holding that familiar scent again. You were half asleep, your back to him, when he came anyways.
But you did pay attention to the bedroom door opening and realising that Jungkook was still in bed with you, but you hoped you were dreaming.
You could hear the smirk in Jungkook's voice when he whispered, "Such a whore, followed me home, did you?"
"Couldn't get enough of you." Someone else whispered back.
Alright now you were on high alert. There was someone in your bedroom who was a woman.
You could feel the bed dip more when you assumed the woman climbed onto the bed.
"You didn't fuck me enough." The voice, which sounded so, so familiar, whispered. It was so familiar that you didn't want to recognise it.
"Come on now, Gaeul." Jungkook's words made your breath and heartbeat all stop at once. "Coming to my home like this?"
"Please?" Gaeul whispered.
"What if Y/n wakes up? You need to get out, you know." Jungkook sounded way too calm for your liking.
"What about it?" Gaeul whispered back.
You couldn't even process anything. The shuffling, the wet sounds, the whimpers. All seemed like a dream. But why would it hurt so much if it was a dream?
Amidst all the whispers and sighs, you only heard, or well, could fathom one thing.
"Why are you with this bitch anyways?" Gaeul panted, whispering long out the window.
The sounds, the smell, the lies, everything was too much for you. You felt as if you were under a bus. The metaphorical bus being 11 years of lies worth.
The realisation that Gaeul was the one who helped you with Jungkook in the first place. Jungkook never showed a single sign that they might be involved with each other more than how they were supposed to be.
The tears you shed during this entire ordeal were enough to drench the entirety of your pillow, your hair and the sheets under you.
The disbelief overtook your sadness and disappointment. You wanted to scream but you couldn't.
You could still hear the pants and the skin slapping when Jungkook said, "Don't know, she's a really good fuck."

Authors note: This, if not obvious, is my first time writing. Like call me the virgin marry of writing cuz idk what I’m doing. But we gone figure it out though. Anyways some things might change throughout the story just bear with me. This is actually a piece of the end not the whole thing. More of a drabble if you will darling, cuz idk if it’s good or not and Ian trynna EMBARRASS myself. But in all honesty I want honest reviews just don’t hurt my feelings I will cry 😐 I would like respectful constructive criticism, not no “yOu WrItInG DumB HAr hAr🤓” type bs y’all can take that childish shit somewhere else, and other writers feel the same way when people do stuff like that kind of stuff isn’t cute or funny when you’re the only one laughing babes. Sorry I just went on a whole tangent. Anyways enjoy my piece of a piece 😂 (Edit: ex doesn’t have a name neither does the ex bff)
——————————————————————
Everyone is having their own separate conversations when ex bff brings up the fact that y/n doesn’t look like she’s feeling well. Y/n bushes it off but ex bff pushes a little harder and say “I’m just trying to make sure you and your baby are okay” the table goes dead silent, everyone too stunned to speak. Jungkook watching quietly.
“ what is she talking about?” Asks ex bf. Y/n calm as ever replies “ I’m pregnant.” Looking right at (name). “Well I don’t know what to say,” ex bf goes on to say while acting flattered. “I mean you know I’ve always wanted to be a dad-“
“it’s mine.”
Everyone turned shocked to look at Jungkook who’d been sitting quietly the whole time. “How long?” He proceeds to ask, ignoring everyone around them. “Around 8 weeks” y/n responds. “When did you find out?“ His questioning continues “Yesterday morning.” Y/n answered, not missing a beat “why didn’t you tell me?” He interrogates further. “It was going to be a surprise, but it seems plans have changed.” She answers calmly, although she is agitated that her plans were ruined all for a petty jab that gave the latter 5 seconds of satisfaction.
“Wait… what’s going on?” Ex question confusingly. “you know him?” He asks y/n. “Y’a she does, rather well actually. We grew up together” Jungkook answers. “Y/n and I are married.” “WHAT!!” Ex exclaims “Since when?!” Ex continues “because we broke up about 2 months ago. The time checks out. So that would mean you cheated on me.” He reach’s.
“Well not exactly.” Jungkook goes on to explain. “Y/n and I were arranged by our parents when we were little. But then she chose to be with you and was disowned by her family. So when you guys broke up, she went back to her family under the condition that she marries me. How it was always supposed to be.” He finishes looking at ex.
“So wait.” Everyone turns to look at ex bff. “Y/n isn’t some poor gold digger “ex” found off the street? I don’t believe that.” She says spitefully. “I’ve know y/n for years and not once has she ever showed she is the heiress like you all say. I mean how come i’ve never seen or heard about her? Huh? Riddle me that?”
“Do you not know what disowned means you mamahuevo? Eh? Does anything flicker between the last two brain cells you have AI COÑAZO CULO! EL BURRO SABE MAS QUE TU!!” Gabriella screams at ex bff fed up with her bs this weekend, bout ready to jump her if she wasn’t worried for y/n’s stress levels.
“This is some Penelope Douglas ass shit bitch.” Meimi whispers to Jimin next to her waiting to see what happens next.

All the things we left unsaid
Idol Jungkook x reader
New chapter is out!
Tumblr media
She remembered the date was 14 December 2023. How could it be 2021? Why were members of BTS surrounding her when they were supposed to be in the military? The biggest mystery was how the hell she was even there.
"I'm being serious. It's 2023," she insisted.
She looked around at the four men, hoping to see someone who agreed with her. Instead, they all watched her like a caged animal; somebody who they were very concerned about and had to be handled with caution.
"No, I'm pretty sure that it's 2021," Namjoon said.
She turned again to the men at her side and watched as they nodded.
"It's 2021," Jimin confirmed.
She turned back to Namjoon.
"Then, what's the exact date?"
"15 March 2021."
Breathing became a lot more difficult. It didn't help that she still felt dizzy. She squeezed the glass in her hand, using it to ground herself. She ran his words over in her mind. There was just no way.
How could she possibly travel back in time, and why did it have to be that specific date? She closed her eyes as she frowned, trying to sort out the thoughts in her mind.
"This doesn't make any sense," she muttered.
Jungkook said something but she couldn't understand what he was saying.
Then he said, "Hey, breathe."
She didn't even realise that she was hyperventilating until he said that. He rubbed her back again which only made her feel worse. A wave of nausea hit into her at full force and her eyes shot open as she clamped a hand over her mouth.
The men surrounding her became frantic, talking to each other with clear panic in their tone. Jungkook took the glass of water from her hand as Namjoon asked her if she was okay. She shook her head as she waved her free hand in front of Jungkook, signalling him to stop rubbing her back.
"Are you going to uh," Namjoon stuttered, struggling to remember the right word, "vomit?"
She took her hand away from her mouth to blurt out one word.
"Bathroom."
The men sprung into action. Jungkook stood and pulled her up with him. He took her arm and placed it around his shoulders and wrapped his own arm around her waist. She was grateful for this because as soon as they stood, her legs turned to jelly.
Happy Valentine's Day💕

Fallen angel!darkyandere!Jungkook x angel!oc
Warnings: Jk is cuckoo as usual, Jk insults oc, violence, dark themes, oc gets abused, knife and blood, non-con touching (non-sexual), crying, I think that’s it…
This is super long like…a good 3.8K words that feel like 6K
Disclaimer: THIS IS PURE FICTION, I don’t believe any of the BTS members engage in such activities, this is for entertainment purposes only, any ressemblance to real life is coincidental.
If one of my drafts doesn’t have any violence or blood in it, is it really my draft?
Context:
Adah is a angel, a pure angel, white wings but no halo.
Jungkook is a fallen angel who deceived Adah and her friends into think that he was a angel like them, so that he could get closer to her.
When he found himself close to her, she eventually fell in love with the character he had been pretending to be. I mean he wasn’t pretending..he just warped his character around a bit
To him, being close to Adah was a complete privilege but he wasn’t the only one who realized it. He easily spotted her best friend looking at her out of the corner of her eyes in jealousy. Luckily for Adah, the last time she looked at anyone out of the side of her was when Jungkook plucked out her feathers one by one and stabbed them into her eyes right after😁.
Adah slowly found herself losing friends after every little altercation, “Did you hear? Unica died of asphyxia, somehow she shoved a whole wig into her throat.” Adah sighed, this can’t be right, she wouldn’t have killed herself just because I told her she was weird for assuming that I was wearing a wig…right?
Adah closed herself off as she started to believe that she was the reason, that she was the problem. She ended up crying in Jungkook’s arms everyday, being embraced by his arms everyday until he once whispered a terrifying phrase in her ears,
“Don’t cry, they deserved it. All of them.”
———
Adah grabbed the floor under her, “You can’t trap me here Helios!” She yelled.
She bit her lip and looked around, she was trapped in a dark place, the only thing she could see was a mirror, in which she couldn't see her reflection, but the room that once belonged to to her.
She tried to charge on the mirror, but she got forcefully pushed back and fell on the ground.
She was on her knees with her hands on the ground, a single crystal clear tear falling, evaporating as soon as it touched the ground.
She was still in shock, her friends were dead.
Because of her. Or because of him.. she couldn’t wrap her head around it.
A figure appeared in the mirror and sat down infront of it.
"Helios, let me out, please." She pleaded.
Helios smirked.
"I already told you it isn't Helios, darling.
It's Jungkook."
---
Five minutes timeskip..
"Stop staring at me." Adah said while looking at the ground.
She refused to look at Jungkook, but that didn't stop him from being happy seeing her being dependent on him.
"But you look so pretty in this lighting." Jungkook replied.
Adah's hands balled up into fists as she clenched her jaw, "The Council will find out I'm missing." She whispered.
Jungkook stood up and entered the mirror, "Will they?"
Adah clenched her jaw and glanced away, the council and its system was flawed. Especially for angels that were of Adah’s race (Sentiunts)…I mean they don’t even have tastebuds or can grow wings with their powers. They were weak.
Shivers traveled her spine as her name rolled off his tongue, her weak wings tried to cover her but Jungkook brutally pinned them both on the ground, causing Adah to let out a soft groan, "Don't force me to get violent, qui sentit." He threatened.
(Sentiunts , Adah’s race (those who feel) Qui sentit is basically dehumanizing term for them🙂)
Adah's eyes darkened, "I’m pretty sure that’s racist and…No violence of yours can amount to the pain you've already caused me, Jungkook." She spoke.
Jungkook's face got closer to Adah's, until they had a tiny inch between them, "Don't jinx it sweet heart." He sweetly whispered through his pink lips.
Angry tears slowly built up in Adah's eyes, Jungkook planted a soft kiss on her forehead, "Don't try to rub it off, I'll know." He said as he got out of the mirror.
As soon as Jungkook went out of the room to get her a meal, she tore some fabric from her dress and tried to wipe it off, but the fabric disingrated into non-existence with some electric zap sound following it. “Where did it go..” she murmured while staring at her now empty hands.
She leaned against the bed Jungkook put in the dark room where she was residing. The room was like a box, with only two light sources, the mirror and Adah's heart.
But even she was getting corrupted by the dark shadow world Jungkook banished her to.
----
Meal time.
"I made your favorite." Jungkook said as he placed the tray just infront Adah's side of the mirror, without leaving his.
He looked up and saw Adah, curled up in a ball, sliently sniffing.
He took a sharp inhale and walked up to her, processing the scene.
Why is she crying.
I've never seen her cry like this before.
Why?
Isn't she happy with me?
Don't worry Adah.
I'll make you love me.
----
Nzikisa ngai na yoka nzoto❤️‍🔥. “Burn me, so that I may feel my body.”
He squatted down and took her in a tight embrace, even though she was protesting she eventually stopped.
"Adah, don't cry, this is the best for the both of us." He whispered.
Adah's soft sobbing stopped as she wiped her face dry. "....Don't even try to touch me." She expressed in a soft tone.
Jungkook's eyes slightly widened at Adah's sudden change of vocabulary towards him. The Adah he knows wouldn't ever say such a thing to him, never.
"Im sorry, care to repeat yourself?"
Adah tried to move away but Helios grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him, "I'm trying to be nice to you, Adah." He inhaled sharply, "But you aren't making it easy."
(Helios and Jungkook are the same person.)
"Jungkook, you're hurting me." Adah said.
Helios didn't loosen up his grip, instead he made it tighter and got closer to her, "I know I'm hurting you, princess." He confessed.
He tilted his head to the side.
"But dont you see? I love you and I know you love me too, even if you refuse to admit it." He said.
Adah blankly stared at Jungkook,
"You're delusional." She said.
Jungkook smiled, "If my delusions got me next to you now, then yes. I am delusional."
"Just get away from me." Adah said as she tried scooting away from him. He tried to grab her wrist but she slapped away his hand, giving him a 3rd degree burn.
Helios hissed and glared at Adah, who was already trying to hide in the dark.
Angels aren’t even allowed to interact with fallen angels, so when a angel touches a fallen angel on certain places they burn them and vice versa.
He stood up and grabbed her sleeve with his non-burnt hand, "You're going to regret that."
---- time skip.
Jungkook rested his head on Adah's shoulder while looking at her, he sniffed her neck, taking in every single piece of her essence and filling up his lungs with it.
They were already sitting on the ground again, but this time with a different aura surrounding the two of them.
He slowly traced his finger over Adah's now bruised, bare arm, forcing out a weak smile at every tremble and shiver Adah had in response of his touch.
“I can’t touch your hand..but it looks so soft darling, I’m scared I won’t be able to help myself.”
He put his hand next to hers and imagined them intertwined.
Adah stayed mute.
"...Adah, please talk to me." He pleaded.
Adah looked at Jungkook's hand beside hers and pulled her hand away.
Jungkook rested his head in the crook of Adah's neck and planted a few kisses along her jawline, "You know I never like hurting you, but you get a little bit feisty sometimes." He said.
"...." still no response from Adah.
Adah, is very soft spoken, so people tend to cross some limits with her sometimes, but they also regret it, quickly. If you asked a description of Adah, they'd recite you the dictionary's definition of pure….and naive
Jungkook looked at Adah, she was staring out into the void as a scarlet liquid traveled from her nose to her soft plump lips, to her chin and dripped on her plain turquoise dress. She didn't even bother to wipe it nor to cry.
Her puffy eyes from an entire night without sleep contradicted her big pupils that used to shine like stars in the moonlight, her long eyelashes that fluttered every time someone complimented her, Her eyebrows that conveyed her emotions in gentle but strong ways into people's heart.
Jungkook softly turned Adah's face towards him, "Adah~" He whispered.
Adah's eyes glanced at him but wandered off. Jungkook clinged onto her bruised arm, causing Adah's breath to hitch in pain.
"Adah, don't you know how much this hurts me? Just give into me, love." He pleaded.
Adah, in spite of her being faced to Jungkook, she still easily avoided eye contact with him.
"Adah, stop ignoring me." He firmly said.
Adah layed down on the ground out of exhaustion, causing one of her bare breasts to almost get out of the dress. Since her fight with Helios, her dress lost its right sleeve, the left sleeve was partially torn off and her modest collar got reduced to a décolleté. (low v-neck)
Jungkook crawled next to her and layed down infront of her, still forcing her to look at him,
"Do you want me to beg? Then I'll beg for you, please." He begged.
Adah blankly stared at him, Jungkook couldn't figure out what was playing out in her head but he knew it wasn't good.
He got closer to Adah and wiped the blood on her lips away with his thumb. "Adah..please? I can’t get those images out of my head…I’m sorry." He negociated.
Adah looked at the stars she could see out of jungkooks window on his side, trying to block Helios out of her ears.
"Adah just talk to me, please!" Helios yelled.
He pulled her up and sat next in front of her, “Adah..please I’m sorry.” He whispered. He started to tell out her name as if she had died, she right was right in front of him, staring at him with a certain blankness that was unfamiliar to her face.
"I'm sorry I’m sorry, please I- I’m sorry." He pleaded.
He cupped her face and pecked her lips repeatedly, trying to get a reaction from her, but nothing.
Adah looked at Helios with a glint of pity and boredom consuming her eyes.
Adah's mouth gaped open as if she was about to say something, but she closed it.
His large black wings came out and flared up, showing an experience of intense emotions circulating through Jungkook's body.
"Burn me, yell at me, curse me, just- just do something!" Jungkook begged, his wings stretching out further and further at each point.
His broken voice echoed all over the room, hurting Adah’s ears.
Adah looked at the veins popping out of his neck and his red knuckles that matched the stains on her blue turquoise dress.
Adah looked down, pretty much ignoring the scene infront of her. Helios lifted up his shirt and pressed Adah's hand against his obliques, he didn't even cry out a yell from the pain, the excess adrenaline in his body didn't allow him to do anything except let out painful moans.
Adah tried to pull her hand back as it also began to burn her, she didn't want burn him in the first place.
When she finally got to pull her hand away she saw a 3rd degree burn shaped like a handprint where her hand was pressed against, she looked at her hand and she had a mild burn on her palm, but it was nothing compared to the burn Jungkook had, his skin surface on the burn had turned black and had a hole inside of it, in the hole we could see multiple skin layers that shouldn't be exposed.
She gasped and scooted away from Jungkook. Jungkook on the other hand, was smiling at the sight of his burn. "When it heals it'll be magnificent, but not as much like you." He imagined.
Jungkook dropped his shirt and sat down next to Adah, he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, causing her to flinch.
"....I'm sorry my dear, I should learn how to control myself, shouldn’t I?" He softly said.
Adah narrowed her eyes at Jungkook's attitude, his mood swings were too much for Adah to deal with him.
"....Just talk to me, please, the last words I heard from you were screams, please." Jungkook begged.
Adah sniffed back the blood that was threating to leave her nostrils again, "Um....hurmfph."
That's it, Adah only made some mouth noises as she contemplated talking again, she absolutely didn't want to. But who knows what Helios would've done to her if she continued ignoring him.
Helios got closer to Adah and started kissing her, but Adah started moving her head, refusing to even be touched by him again.
Helios pulled away and looked at Adah, "Adah, I've been very patient with you, don't you think?" He falsely declared, "So maybe you could try to be good for me, for once." He proposed.
Adah turned her head to the opposite side, not wanting to even look at him.
"I'm speaking Adah, it's only right for you to look at me." He said.
After all, the Adah he knows wouldn't forget her manners.
Helios cupped her cheek and forcibly turned her head towards him, "Adah, Ignoring me like this won't do you justice." He said.
He looked into her eyes and saw that was still focused on the same object for the last 10 minutes now.
The glass shards and broken plates that were where the food tray used to be.
"...Oh I get it, you're hungry." Jungkook said followed by a soft chuckle.
"I know how grumpy you get when you're hungry, stay here." Jungkook got out of the mirror and went to go fix up a meal for her again.
(A/N: he’s telling a locked up girl to stay where she is?💀 mans is messed up fam😭)
As soon as Jungkook left, Adah grabbed the biggest glass shard she could see, and slid it into her panties.
She knew he wouldn't find out because even if it doesn't seem like it, Jungkook had boundaries when it came to physical touch, never in a million years could his hand travel lower than Adah's abdomen without any consent. Those were the only type of morals and principles he'd keep.
Barely.
---
"Here, you must be very hungry." Jungkook placed the tray infront of Adah.
Adah pushed the plate to where the food tray used to be and left it there.
Jungkook was confused at her action and sat down, "Why aren't you eating?" He asked.
Adah turned her body away from the plate and Jungkook, her back facing him.
"Adah, I can't let you starve to death, huh?" Jungkook tried to sympathize.
Adah dropped her head into her knees and pretty much isolated herself.
"Adah, eat." Helios ordered.
Adah ignored him again.
Jungkook went and shoved the bowl infront of her, "I couldn't make your favorite again because you ruined the first one." He said.
Adah looked in the bowl, it was soup but her reflection was nowhere to be seen.
Jungkook got closer to the bowl and put the spoon inside, leading the soup filled spoon towards her mouth, flashing Adah a weak smile as she glanced at him.
“Adah..” he quietly whined.
She slowly closed her eyes and reopened them, putting her face back against her knees.
His eyebrows raised a bit, “Please don’t force me to get mean..” he whispered.
No response from Adah.
He sighed,
“Fine I tried.”
He pulled Adah's hair towards him and snaked his arm around her neck, having her into a headlock.
Adah's wings pryed out of her back, fluttering uncontrollably out of defense, she scratched Jungkook's arm with her nails to force him to remove his arm from her neck, She still didn't speak, only grunts and whimpers were heard from her part. He pulled his arm closer to his chest, practically choking Adah.
He took the bowl and poured it into her mouth, even with the soup that was getting spilled, enough of it entered her mouth for her not to die or faint from starvation.
Adah grabbed his hand, burning his fingers.
Jungkook groaned and pinned Adah’s wrist down in response.
When the bowl finished it contents, Helios loosened his grip on Adah's neck and panted, "See? That wasn't that bad, was it?" He asked.
Adah whimpered and Jungkook slowly traced his fingers along her collarbones, "Don't hate me for this baby, but...." He said.
"You should be feeling something by now." He calculated.
Adah coughed, then coughed again. A series of uncontrollable coughs followed
"Don't worry, it'll pass." Jungkook said
-- 5 minutes later
Adah is still coughing but it has gotten softer and less regular, her coughs became bloody and started to become gags.
The soup still wasn’t cleaned up and had dried it’s leftovers on her neck, dress and jaw.
Jungkook rubbed her back and hit it harshly, after he did that, something came out of her mouth. Having come closer to the object. Adah saw that the blood soaked thing on the ground was the fabric she used to wipe off Jungkook's kiss.
Helios picked it up and looked at it, "I guess I should carve my name into your skin for you to understand that you're mine, Adah."
"N- uh uh." Adah expressed out of exhaustion.
Jungkook rested the back of Adah's head on the right side of his chest as he sat back down.
"Words." Jungkook ordered.
"...No." Adah quietly squeaked.
"Good girl." He praised.
He looked down and fixed her dress's décolleté, "You're so lucky I'm nice, anyone else would've done something horrible by now." Helios said.
"So just continue being good for me, arraseo?" Helios proposed.
Adah pursed her lips and rested her eyes.
--------
1 week later,
Jungkook gave her a new dress and some underwear since she stopped acting up,
Her wings were flared up everytime he entered her dark room.
Her previously fluffy and short feathers got replaced by some longer, thicker ones.
And that’s totally not because of the illegal steroids he put in her food :)
Helios stopped giving her drugs that would keep her up all night and day. So she could actually start distinguishing them.
--
Jungkook sat down infront of the little tray with two plates on it, "I missed having meals with you."
Adah flashed him a small smile.
Jungkook's ears became red from fluster, that was the biggest smile she sent him since she was in the mirror. They ate their meal, Jungkook asked her questions, did she like the food?
Was she feeling well?
Did she like him?
Did she want to stay with him forever?
Him?
Him.
Him!
Adah got worried and rubbed her hands together, "Jungkook, you look very tense." She remarqued.
Jungkook sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, "No, don't worry about me, I'm good as long as I'm with you." He said.
Adah stood up and sat behind him, she put her hands on his shoulders and started massaging his back.
"Darling you don't have to- Ah!" Jungkook exclaimed as Adah cracked his spine.
He felt relieved, “You should warn people when..” Jungkook stopped talking, he felt very relieved.
A little bit too relieved.
"….Adah, what did you do?"
Adah stood infront of him as showed a thin worm like string.
"I pulled out your nerve, it'll regenerate in a few hours, I'll put you to sleep, get your blood and leave the shadow world." Adah said.
Jungkook tried to get up but he couldn't, as if he was getting restrained by something.
"Don't, you'll hurt yourself." Adah said.
Helios stared at Adah, "I'm going to beat you up so hard for this." He said.
Adah sighed and crouched down, "Sorry."
And then the world went all black for Jungkook.
-----
Those few hours later.
"The Council moved." The elderly woman said.
Adah has been asking strangers where The Council went so that she could go report Helios.
"Where to?" Adah asked.
The woman shrugged, "It has moved to the starrise département."
"Arraseo, may all odds be in your favor." Adah inclined her head and ran away.
---
Jungkook walked around the Starrise department with a knife hidden in his pocket.
He wore all black with a hood over his head, looking for Adah, he'd figure his foolish lover would go and try to report him, so he put a temporary spell on the people of his city, making them believe that The Council had moved to the Starrise department.
He knew it would be a matter of minutes before they notice his unauthorized spell but what does he care?
He would've flown over the city to find her but anyone would recognize a fallen angel's dark wings.
"Look at what you're making me do Adah." He murmured.
He smelled that Adah was getting closer and closer, she was probably flying. So he ran ahead to the alleged council and waited for her there.
Jungkooks head shot to the other side of the street as he heard a pair of wings flutter, indicating that someone just landed. He looked at the source and felt his heart flutter intensely.
He let out a soft moan as he felt his recently regenerated nerve still connecting to the other ones.
He followed her from afar and saw her enter an alleyway. So he entered too.
She was stretching out her wings's feathers for a longer wingspan, since she couldn't walk properly with unbalanced feathers.
"Long time no see, princess." Jungkook said.
Adah turned her head in panic and grabbed her glass shard.
"Don't come any closer, it's poisoned."
( angel cookie juice can be life threatening for fallen angels/ demons yall! It's to prevent them from fornication and breeding just like their hands.)
"I wonder what it's poisoned with." Jungkook said as a cocky smirk creeped up his face.
"But enough games." Jungkook said as he pulled out his knife, "I'll bring you back home."
And the fight started.
Adah doesn't like fighting and would've flown away already if it weren't for her unbalanced wings.
So when they fought, Adah tried to dodge most of the hits, when she couldn't, she started attacking him blindly.
She ended up stabbing his arm and graze his neck. As consequence Jungkook flared up his wings so Adah couldn't escape.
He trapped her and pulled out a syringe, "You're going to feel a teeny tiny pinch." He said.
He neutralized Adah and brought her back.
-----
Bed.
Mirror.
Stool.
Morning.
Figure.
Bruises.
pain.
Eyes.
Bandage.
Chains...chains?
Adah's foot was chained to the wall, as soon as her vision cleared up she saw Jungkook bandaging his arm while glaring at her.
He was on his side on the mirror, but that didn't make his gaze burn any less. He was shirtless so she could see the place Jungkook marked himself with her burn.
Adah shyly glanced at him, his arm looked okay, for some reason that kind of relieved her.
She stood up from the bed and discreetly looked for the rest of glass shards.
Helios looked at her, "I threw the glass shards away." He said.
Adah's breath hitched and she quickly sat back down.
Jungkook put his shirt back on a walked towards Adah, who was glaring at the ground.
"I put my hands on you again, Adah." He confessed.
"You should be mad at yourself for making me feel like this." Helios said.
Adah looked up in disbelief, "I'm bleeding." She hoarsely whispered.
The inside of her fleece lined sweater sleeves were soaked in her blood.
"I know you are, what did you think i was trying to do?" Helios asked.
Adah fiddled with her fingers.
"....You want to eat?" Jungkook asked.
Adah shook her head, "I’m angry." She said.
"How dare you, i'm the one that's supposed to be angry." Jungkook sighed. "..What do i need to do to keep you here? Break your legs and wings?...because i will." He said.
Adah scoffed,
"I...i can't believe you." She said.
Adah's eyebrows furrowed together as a tear traveled her cheek, it soon got followed by more and more.
"You don't love me Jungkook,
You're obsessed."

방탄소년단 — jeon jungkook x black, female oc
It was a bright morning, almost nippy when the wind blew at a certain pace. The pavement glistened like a carpet of crushed diamonds in the early morning sunshine. Though, the few grey clouds that dotted the sky made a promise of rain later on in the day—and, if the weather report is reliable enough to go off of, that later would be sooner than noon.
However, despite those warnings, I decided to go on my Saturday morning walk to gain inspiration for my artwork.
I had been in a slump for months now and, if I’m being honest with myself, it’s mostly due to my poor life balance between school, work and my own sanity. So, maybe a long walk through campus will do me some good…hopefully.
“Kyoko? What’re you doing out here so early?”
A familiar voice and a pair of steps sounded from behind me. “Zenni and Chae Yeong? Hey!” I smiled as my two closest friends walked up to me in cropped hoodies and sweats. “I’m going on a walk, and you?” Zenni smiles back at me, “Same here.”
“It’s too pretty of a morning not to,” Chae Yeong finished, “How about we walk together?” I nod, “Yeah, that sounds fun.”
“So, have you seen him…?” Chae Yeong mumbles to us as if she’s telling the world’s darkest secret. I raise an eyebrow at her. “Seen who?” Zenni voices my thoughts.
“The new student? Jeon Jungkook?”
My eyes grow wide and I gasp, “No way. The Jeon Jungkook…? Nope…never heard of him.” I chuckle as Chae Yeong huffs and slaps my arm. “I’m being serious Kyoko!”
“Okay, so who’s this ‘Jeon Jungkook’ you speak of?” Zenni asks between amused snickers. Chae Yeong’s eyes sparkle as she begins to explain.
“I first met him in Professor Mae’s class. She was in the middle of explaining our social marketing project when he ran in panting and apologizing. And he sat down next to Bin Mi-Gyeong, lucky bitch. He has dark hair, a tattoo sleeve and wears all black. From what I gathered he’s a gamer on YouTube from Busan with over twelve million subscribers and eight million followers on Instagram. He curates at least one point two million likes between both platforms almost every day—Instagram, of course, gaining the most the fastest.”
Chae Yeong pulls out her phone and shoves it into our faces, my eyes forced to see a rather aesthetically pleasing Instagram page of an almost bunny looking, doe eyed boy.
“And he’s talented at everything he does. Just name it! Dance, singing, drawing, photography, boxing! He’s good at it all!”
I cross my arms. “And you just found out all of this…today?” The brunette only nods as she begins scrolling through the guy’s pictures—of which I’m sure she’s done a million times in the past hour.
“Come to think of it, I have heard of him,” Zenni starts, “Frankie Lennox was gossiping about him to her group of friends in class yesterday.”
“He just got here and he’s already making a fuss? I dunno if I’mma like this Jungkook guy,” I grumble. Chae Yeong just waves me off. “Oh, please, you say that now. But, wait until you see him. He missed most of his classes yesterday, but you share all of his morning courses.” Zenni laughs, “Be sure to say hi to him for me.” I roll my eyes, “Whatever.”
“Bak Yong, is that him? The one everyone’s been gawking over?” She sends me a dirty look but nods before returning back to her schoolwork.
Truthfully, I couldn’t help but to feel a bit curious. The boy had been the talk of the town lately. He and his friend, Bak Jimin, were rising in fame at the school rapidly. It was almost scary how far looks alone could get you. That’s definitely something I could never relate to. I sigh. “Someone like him would totally end up with someone like Zenni or Chae Yeong…maybe even Yoko.”
Yoko was my younger sister of two years. But, even so, I seemed like the youngest. She was more beautiful and more talented than I ever was. And it had always been that way. Though, I had never been jealous of her…I could only ever be proud of her accomplishments. Proud of the fact that she had never ended up like me.
In a weird way, I guess that makes me kind of pathetic.
Another day had passed and I found myself in my pajamas eating ramen with Zenni and Chae Yeong. “You saw him today, right?”
“For damn near five hours.”
“What was your reaction?” I sigh, “I only thought of how he would be a perfect match for Yoko.”
There was a long pause after that (the only sound cutting the silence was the slurping of my noodles).
“Yoko? Why do you think so highly of her?” Zenni questions, and I could hear the faint trace of frustration in her voice. I shrug. “I’m just proud of who she’s become. I am her older sister after all.” Chae Yeong growls, “You know she doesn’t think the same of you.” I only shrug again. “What does that matter? She’s better than me in every way…and that’s okay.”
“And do you really think that?” Zenni raises an eyebrow at me. I nod. “Of course, why wouldn’t it be?” I smile at her before looking down at the empty broth of my cup noodles.
It is okay, right?
“Now that I’ve explained your semi-finals project, I’ll be calling out the groups I chose. Since the class is uneven, there will be one team of three. Sītú Chan-juan and Kim Nabi, Ahn Min Jeong and Cha Ga Eul, Jeon Jungkook and Kangjeon Kyoko, Seok Nari and Asaki Luan—“
The world sat still for a moment. Everything went mute. And I could only focus on the fact that Professor Nam had just announced that Jeon Jungkook was my art project partner.
I could practically feel the hundreds of jealous eyes burning holes into every side of my head. I gulp.
I am so dead.
“Bak Yong, Bak Jimin and Seonghun Min. Please, go sit next to your partners. These will be your new assigned seats for the remainder of the year since you will have the same partners for the finals. Get started when you’re ready and remember to have fun, okay?”
“Yes, ma’am!”
The months of effort I put in to ignore him just so I could avoid a situation such as this one went down the drain as soon as Jungkook sat down in what was once Bak Yong’s seat. I groan, “What a disaster.”
“What’s a disaster?” He blinked at me with innocent eyes and a cheerful grin. “Hi, I’m Jungkook, nice to meet you.”
“Likewise,” I mumble. “Kyoko.”
“So, you’re Yoko’s older sister, huh?”
At the mention of Yoko’s name I sit up straight in my seat and turn all the way to face him. “You know Yoko?” He nods. “Yeah, we’re close friends. She told me that you think the world of her so, mentioning her would get me on your good side. You’re really scary and cold, did you know that?”
I glare at him. “How do you know Yoko?”
“She’s a really popular singer on YouTube these days. We met playing Among Us during a livestream with some mutual friends.” I purse my lips, “Well, if you’re good enough to be Yoko’s friend then, I guess you’re okay.”
“She said you’d say that, too…but, she doesn’t speak very highly of you.” I shrug. “So? Anyways, let’s get working on the project.”
A week. An entire week has past since I became Jungkook’s desk mate and project partner.
An entire week of threats and bullying. An entire week of bloody fights and teacher conferences.
An entire week of no motherfucking peace.
And yet Jungkook sat in front of me with the most carefree smile and, truly, wholeheartedly, I wanted to deck him in his pretty face so damn bad. But, instead, I grind my teeth together and continue searching for a reference for the portrait we decided to work on.
“Kyoko…?” His voice is soft as he murmurs my name. I glance up at him. “Yeah?”
“Can I…use you as reference for the portrait?” He’s shy as he asks. It really made me want to punch him even more.
“Why? Just use Yoko,” I reply dismissively.
“But, I—“
I glare at him.
“I wanna draw you.”
I sigh and sip my coffee. What the hell for? Though, as I continue to stare at him, I couldn’t bring myself to voice my thoughts. “Alright, fine, but don’t be upset with me when the painting gets ruined.”
And in turn his infamous bunny smile is directed at me as a faint blush dusts his cheeks. “Thanks.”
At some point honey lemon black tea—that and iced coffee—became my favorite drink to sip on while perfecting my art skills. And I had shared my newly found obsession with Chae Yeong, Zenni, Yoko and Jungkook.
It wasn’t long before him and I began sharing one cup with two straws of the sourly sweet flavored tea as he sketched me in his notebook more times than I cared to remember and as I sketched out different backgrounds for the easel.
“Y’know…you’re really pretty, Kyoko.”
“Stop mumbling nonsense.”
Jungkook had also become a lot more bolder and a lot more frequent when it came to voicing his nonsensical thoughts. Which, more or less, were compliments directed at me.
“But, it’s not nonsense. I really think so,” he continued confidently.
I put down my pencil with a sigh. “You don’t have to lie to me to get on my good side, Jungkook, I already like you.”
The ravenette blinks harshly at me before his nose scrunches up disapprovingly, “You can’t even tell a compliment from an insult. Does everyone really think that lowly of you?” I only shrug. “When you have the most perfect and beautiful younger sister, you’re kinda always compared. And…I’m okay with that.”
It’s silent for a moment too long, and I think the conversation is over, when he lets out a frustrated groan.
“I know we’ve known each other for barely a month now but, I’ve known your sister for two years and I think that—“ He cuts himself off, his face flushing a potent bright red. I raise an eyebrow at him, a gesture that he continue his sentence.
“…I think you’re more worth it than she is.”
“Worth what?” I breathed.
“Everything that she has and more.”
I glance up at him for a while. Trying to grasp onto every word he’s stated. I’m worth that much to him? That thought alone caused me to smile at him. “Whatever,” I chuckle, “Just get back to work.”
I pick up my pencil again, ready to begin drawing, when his next words caused me to drop it on the floor and abruptly stand up from my chair, “I like you, Kyoko.”
My fists begin to quiver as I glare down at him. “Alright, dude, you can stop now. Do you really think I’m that gullible? I can’t believe you.”
I hastily grab my things and rush out of the main campus library. “What an idiot,” I huff.
I didn’t see him for the next few days after that. We occasionally sent pictures of our progress to the project and some times, every now and then, he’d send a voice memo of him singing American slow jams.
Other than that…the weekend was quite boring.
“It hasn’t even been a month since we started talking to each other, do you think he actually likes me?” I voice my thoughts to Zenni as she smacked on some cereal she had ordered from abroad. Chae Yeong was in her room cussing out some poor fella on her team in Apex.
“Kyoko…he’s liked you far longer than that,” Zenni speaks as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “What the hell makes you say that?”
“He came up to us not too long before your project began, asking us if you hated him and if there was a way to make sure you two became partners. He said that Yoko gave him a misinterpreted version of yourself and that you’re the exact opposite of who she said you were.”
“It sounds as if Yoko is jealous of you,” Chae Yeong interjects. “She wanted to make sure Jungkook never liked you. Guess that backfired.”
Chae Yeong turns around from where she had been rummaging through the fridge. “So, are you gonna call him?” She takes a sip of her beer before heading back inside her room.
The phone rang once…twice…, “Hello? Kyoko?”
My breath hitches at the sound of his voice. This is the first time we’ve spoken on the phone. I clear my throat. “D’you wanna go to the gaming basement with me?”
I hear him take in a quick breath before humming. “Uh…yeah, sure. That sounds fun.”
“Yeah? Okay. Does around twelve sound good?”
He hums again. “Yeah, that’s fine. C’ya then.”
Somehow, in the middle of playing COD, his lips met mine after a well-deserved victory. “You didn’t push me away,” he breaths. I chuckle, “Don’t worry, I thought about.” I sit back in my seat and hum. “But, you’re a damn good kisser, Mr. Jeon.”
He blinks, shocked by my bluntly honest answer, “Really? Well—uh—thanks.”
I lean in close with a small grin, poking his nose, “Lemme kiss you again, okay?” Jungkook begins coughing with wide eyes and leans away. “Eh!? You can’t just say stuff like that Kyoko!” I laugh, “Why not? I liked it so, naturally, I’d wanna do it again.” I lay my head on the table and grab his hand.
“I kinda like you…I wanna kiss you more than once.” Being so honest was foreign to me, however, I didn’t mind it all that much.
After getting over his initial shock Jungkook laid his head down next to mine. “Then, do me a favor—“ he pecks my lips, “—become my girlfriend.” I hum. “Sure, why not? I’d be doing you a favor.” He chuckles and grips my hand back, “Yeah, you would be.”
“WHAT? He’s your boyfriend now!?” Chae Yeong yells in my face. She squeezes my shoulders. “The progress happened so quickly!”
“Yeah, it did,” I smile to myself.
It was a cloudy morning as Chae Yeong and I walked around campus. We were meeting up with Zenni and Jimin (who had began dating not too long ago) at our local coffee shop Honey Lemon. Kind of an ironic name. “Kyoko!”
I perk up at the voice that beckoned me. “Kookie.”
Chae Yeong waves happily at him as his steps sync with ours. “Heading to the cafe?” He grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers. I nod. “Yeah.”
“Then, let’s go together.”
I grin, “Mmmm. Yeah, let’s go.”
“You guys are such love birds,” Chae Yeong cackles, “But, I totally called it.”

Rose Petals & Fairy Lights
Jungkook was standing in Namjoon’s apartment. Everything was already set up and perfect. There was a trail of rose petals that led to the bedroom. He had even taken the time to make a heart of the petals on Namjoon’s bed. Candles were placed all around the apartment, providing the only source of ambient lighting. The mood was just right – romantic in a way that he knew would make his boyfriend melt.
Dinner was already done and arranged on the dining room table. He had spent the last hour bent over Namjoon’s stove making sure each dish was perfect. The table was now set with steaming plates and a vase full of more roses. A bottle of his boyfriend’s favorite red wine was ready to be poured and Jungkook had painstakingly researched to make sure it would pair perfectly with the meal.
All he needed was for his boyfriend to get home from work, which should be any minute now

Question: when reading bts fanfiction do you prefer to read Jeongguk or Jungkook? I've been staring at both for too long and now neither of them look like actual words anymore.

FAVORITE FANFICS OF 2023
We did it. We made it. We made it through the end of 2023, and BOY AM I HAPPY AS HELL TO SAY GOOD-FUCKING-BYE TO IT. I don't know about you guys, but this year- particularly the last quarter- have been a lot to say the least. A lot of headaches, a lot of mental breakdowns, a lot of emotional gymnastics, and more.
But thanks to good friends, good shows, good music, and of course good fanfics I managed to see it through the end.
One of my favorite New Year's Eve's traditions where I do my annually fanfic recs/favorite fanfics of the year. This marks a whooping 5th year doing it, YAY 🎉💃🏿 If interested, check out 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 lists.
Please know there's no real ranking, despite the number ordering. Loved all these stories listed. Loved all the fanfics writers featured. And of course highly highly highly recommend
Without further ado, here are my favorite fanfics of 2023:
1). Something Good by @no-net-ensnares-me (kathony/kanthony)
Summary: Eager to earn a wage that would provide a more suitable life for her family and prepare for Edwina’s debut in a couple years, Kate accepts a position as governess for the Bridgerton family and moves to London, where she finds herself thrown into the chaos of living with the severe yet handsome Viscount Anthony Bridgerton and his seven siblings.
or
The Sound of Music AU
The Hills are aliiiiiiiiiiiiive with the sound of music/and the feels are FEEEEEEEEEELT with each new chapter. LOL, but all jokes aside, yes it's been a year since we saw our dear Viscount and Viscountess yet I still ride hard for them like it's their season premire all over again. Thanks of course to the awesome fic writers who keep us well-feed as we wait for season 3, such as this gem right here
Seriously, I cannot stress how insanely good this was. A good retelling where you see elements of Sound of Music while also being its' own thing. The longing, the longing between Kate and Anthony is so good. READ IT.
2). A Devil's Love by FormerlyIR (Irony_Rocks), Irony_Rocks (kathony/kanthony)
Summary: When Kate's sister goes missing, she gets herself a waitress job at the Pebble Lounge to track her down, working under London’s seedy underbelly to find the only person she has left in this world to love. And Anthony Bridgerton? No matter how alluring and distracting he may be, he’s just a means to an end, his life defined by his family business built on corruption.
Kate won’t dance to that tune. She’s just trying to find her sister.
Two in a row. A win for kathony/kanthony. Where the first one for the most part is cozy and light, this one is dark. Not surprising since this story, according to the author, was inspired by the 2022's The Batman, focusing on the electric dynamic between our favorite Bruce and Selina Kyle. Or rather in this AU, the dynamics between a dangerous mob boss and a woman going undercover as a waitress to figure out what happened to her sister.
It's got everything. Protective/possessive Anthony. Stubborn, witty Kate. Great sexual tension. Fair warning, there is an unplanned pregnancy so keep that in mind. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride
3). Intent to Cherish by iffervescent (kinn x porsche)
Summary: A mouthy beta runs off with Kinn's watch. He goes to get it back.
4 chapters this story is. 4 chapters of hilarious back and forth. 4 chapters of Porsche keeping that stubborn streak in tact with Kinn trying to chip his way through. 4 chapters we get to watch Porsche go from intriguing thief, to Kinn's employee, and finally intended.
This story checks off so many boxes. ABO AU, which is always a favorite. Sugar Baby and Sugar Daddy dynamic- never get tired of that. And of course Porsche being spoiled rotten. What more could you want?
4). burnt cotton series by taetaehland (taekook)
Summary: here's a series featuring your favorite bratty taehyung and his whipped husband, jeongguk (plus their adorable pups)
Once again, we got ABO and we so far have 11 stories of it featuring our favorite BTS as they grow more of their little family, grow more in love, and of course Tae growing more crafty and poor Kookie growing more insane. I love it.
Not to mention seeing all the ways Jungkook becomes more and more whipped for his husband is just the icing on the cake.
5). 'Tis a Far Better Thing by @the-sinking-ship (drarry)
Summary: 'Tis a far, far better thing doing stuff for other people — or however the Muggle saying goes — because Potter is in need of professional help, and Draco is just the man to give it to him.
A Drarry Clueless AU.
Sometimes you come across two things, such as two fandoms that on the surface seem so far farfetched until one ambitious fic writer creates a story that combines elements of the two and creates a wonderful gem of a story. Which is exactly what happened here.
Draco Malfoy and Cher Horowitz are so much alike, it's not even funny. Thus enhancing my enjoyment for this story to outright love love loving.
Again, elements to a famous story that brings on the nostalgia and enjoyment while also being it's own fresh spin. Plus FASHION. Draco as a Fashion Designer with Harry being his newest client. Along with Draco massively simping- always a win in my book.
6). Tracklist by Mia_Moon (sukuita/sukuIta)
Summary: Singer Sukuna x Fanboy Yuuji
Where they do kinky stuff together first and then get to know each other later.
Sometimes you have that fandom with an OTP that's set and your loyal ride or ship. Then there are other fandoms, where you love most of the characters, see the chemistry between them, love the dynamics, and it's fair game for shipping season. Jujutsu Kaisen is one of those fandoms, and sukita/sukulta was one of those ships that I just ended up falling in love with it.
Listen. Listen. Listen. I know the synopsis just give smutty smutty good time, but you get that and MORE.
What more you say be asking? Well, for starter our dear boy Yuuji who gets spoiled rotten, pampered, and yes, also gets sexed up 7 ways to Sunday- featuring some of the hottest smut I've read so far might I add. Mia_Moon did their thing, and I definitely will be reading more of and more of their works.
I don't know why to explain it, but there's something about a celebrity AU, where we have one half of the ship be this famous celeb and the other being this outsider getting pulled into their world. I ate it up every single time.
7). I'm Only Going to Heaven (If it Feels Like Hell) by stereobone (eruri)
Summary: "Are you saying you want to be my sugar daddy?" Levi says.
This story, I kid you not, came at the best timing, especially as I still try to untangle my very tangled feelings regarding the final season of Attack of Titan. But one positive that came outta it was my ulitmate love for Levi Ackerman, along with rekindling my love for eruri.
Good to note, one of the quickest quickest ways for me to immediately read a fanfic is if I see the keywords: Sugar Daddy.
What can I say? It gets me everytime. And this one was no different. This story not only came to my radar at the perfect time, but it also was just so damn perfect. So damn good. And of course had me looking through whatever other eruri stories the writer had under their belt.
8). Minor Family Supremacy by @yoonmoonbii (vegaspete, kinnporsche, payurain, prapaisky)
Summary: Like Vegas, Venice Theerapanyakun was born into a dangerous world of crime and power plays. And unlike Vegas, he is well protected by his family who shelters the little boy and spoils him to the core. However, in a day like every other, Venice is kidnapped.
Oh dear lord, where do we begin with this one? Well, much as 2023 was a hot flaming mess, it also became the year of Love of the Air (my new comfort show) and Kinnporsche. For not only me but also for my dear friends @littlenightdragon & @kila09. And what does one do after getting into a new show/fandom? Find fanfics to satisfy the fangirl cravings.
Minor Family Supremacy, or as me and @littlenightdragon often like to call it, the Minor Family Saga was the fanfic for us. And deliver what we needed after finishing Kinnporsche and wanted more of Vegas, more of Pete, and see the other side of the Minor Family.
This one, massive massive props, praise, and all the kudos for @yoonmoonbii for putting this series together because wow. Series starts off with Payu aka Venice as a kid, best friends with his cousin Prapai, being protected by his loving parents until one day changes their dynamics forever- and further widen the gap between the two . But quickly as each story goes on, the two find themselves being more aware of their positions, the complicated histories of their families, and how to stay on course of their own lives without falling into the trappings of Korn's narcisstic chesse game.
It's that good. Each story is like a TV season to the vegaspete spin-off we were so badly owed and sadly weren't granted.
9). Haute Couture, Mon Amour by @goldentruth813 (sheith)
Summary: When a scruffy stranger walks into Mamora Designs, personal shopper Shiro decks him in finery instead of sending him away. Little does Shiro know there’s more to this man than meets the eye and while trying to give him a picture perfect moment he just might find his own instead.
When it comes to @goldentruth813, you can count on several things. Amazing sheith stories. Incredible moments that will make your heart swoon or flutter (depending on the rating). And of course for Shiro to be spoiled rotten and given more depth than the show did.
This one, one word: FASHION. Fashion, fashion, with a lot of a Cinderella-ish vibe, only slightly if you catch it.
Honorable mention:
Wishing on a Frat Boy
10). He's The Bride by @sashadistan (tododeku)
Summary: Fae Prince Shoto has been waiting his whole life to marry his betrothed. As it turns out, a few interesting details were lost in translation, but Shoto still thinks his bride is worth the wait.
Oh @sashadistan, how I adore thee. For the way you just drop these amazing stories for us peasants, feeding us with wonderful content one story at a time. I always love your stories whether it's sheith, tododeku, and more.
This one was no different. This story has everything I could want: Fae Shouto, possessive Shouto, body worship, Izuku being his stuttering and flustering mess, and arranged marriage.
If y'all told me 5 or so years ago, I'd get into arranged marriage, I would have been dumbfounded. Or wonder if you were trying to be funny. Now? I love it. Just goes to show that sometimes it takes a good writer to make something you don't like a win in your eyes.
And now for the Honorable Mentions that were insanely good but due to time & length, couldn't go into full depth:
Just Breathe by @icecream-suga (2 part series w/1st part focusing on yoonmin & the 2nd on taekook; gangsters, drugs, gunplay, OH MY. So goooooood)
Right at Home by cmere (firstprince, alex x henry; grad students in a non-royal AU, fake-dating, and hijinks)
Hair Ribbons and Silk Ties by writer_of_passion (tiana x nanami/tianami; loving husband goes bonkers seeing his wife's curls loose and it GOES DOWN, so so so good)
Bedroom Hymns by Writcraft (drarry; daddy kink w/dom & sub undertones, insanely HOTTT)
Like, Comment, and Romance by @xskyll (tododeku; Youtuber Deku, pro-Hero Shouto, mutual longing and pining wrapped in a insanely fun read)
And there you have it. As usual, thanks to the awesome fanfic writers who do what they do. Fanfics, literally, is the only thing keeping us sane. And please check out all these stories.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, GUYS

I just wanted to tell you about something I really liked about Trouvaille. The fact that Y/N is not Christisn and doesn't know much about Christmas. I'm Jewish and there are a TON of fics for Christmas and Easter, and that's fine. I don't begrudge anyone that. Want to know how many Hanukkah, Passover or High Holidays fics there are for BTS? 4, Just 4.
*sighs in wishing for representation*
So the fact that there's a fic about someone who not only is Wiccan, but was raised Wiccan is a refreshing change. She has her own culture, her own religion and we get to see it because it's an important part of her character. As a non-Christian, even though I'm Jewish and not Wiccan... this is important and sort of makes me feel seen by proxy.
Also, just food for thought, BTS is a Korean group, and while South Korea has the most Christians of any Asian country, they are still a majority Buddhist country. Why aren't there more fics where the members are Buddhist? I can't really think of any offhand.
Anyway, I thought you would want to know. 🌹
Hi honey! I agree with you, there isn't much religious diversity when it comes to fanfiction, if religion is an element at all. Lately, I've come across dozens (and I mean a staggering amount) of Christmas fics, which can be super fun and entertaining to read, but it's a bummer that there is not as much representation (hardly at all) for holidays of other religions.
For Trouvaille, when I was outlining, I wanted to write a story that would accurately portray modern Wicca/Witchcraft through holidays and practices the MC would celebrate. Myself, I practice witchcraft as a pagan but I'm not necessarily a Wiccan. You often see fantasy fics with witches and I do love those but I thought it would be interesting to include real life practices that I'm familiar with (making charm bags, card reading, protective wards). Granted, there is fantasy in this story as well (hybrids, and if you don't believe in paranormal happenings you could consider that fantasy as well), but I definitely wanted to make the religious aspects of this real! I believe, by my schedule, when October rolls around the Samhain/Halloween chapter will be out which will be exciting!
I'm very happy that you were able to feel seen and identify with the MC even though you're not pagan yourself 💜 I'm hoping that over time writers will incorporate more of their own religions into fanfic, its a way to connect with others in a different way (I've talked to a few pagans here because of Trouvaille and that's very special!!)
You bring up a very excellent point about Buddhism with BTS fics. When I traveled to Korea, I noticed many Christian churches but the presence of Buddhism is very much still there predominantely. I find it interesting that incorporating the members of BTS in fanfiction often lack what their spiritual beliefs would be.
I haven't touched too much on the Trouvaille hybrid's beliefs/spiritual practices yet, but I have outlined them in my character profile document. Jeongguk is a bit agnostic, drawing from many spiritualities and religions and finding truth in them all, for example. There's so much in Trouvaille that I want to explore, and I'm so excited to share it with everyone!!
Thank you for sending me this message, I've enjoyed replying and discussing some of the important themes of Trouvaille and fanfictions in general. While Trouvaille will eventually include romance, the magic/paranormal/spiritual have always been the center theme 💗

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Gaeul never wanted this. She never wanted to feel like such a disappointment. But whenever she was with you, she felt like one.
Ever since she transferred to your school, she was no longer the center of attraction. You were so, so kind and so patient with everyone, even with her.
You had helped Gaeul with adjusting to her new school even when you barely knew her.
At her previous school, Gaeul was the top student, and top athlete. But when her father succumbed to his illnesses, she had no option but to move in with her uncle.
The change of pace affected her studies and performance a lot but Gaeul could always count on you to help her with anything.
She would never admit that to some extent, she was jealous of you. Jealous of the attention you received.
"Hey, umm... Gaeul, was it?" She was caught off guard by her crush, Jeon Jungkook.
She tried her best to act nonchalant. Maybe he was trying to finally ask her out.
She fiddled with the cuffs of her school uniform, "Yeah? What's up?"
The anticipation was building up in her belly, or was it just the butterflies he gave her?
"You're friends with Y/n, right?" The mention of your name almost made her lose her cool.
Ofcourse you two were friends, not close ones, but friends nevertheless.
"Y-yeah, what about it?" She tried to contain her distaste towards you. Yet again, you took the attention, but this time, from the person Gaeul wanted the most.
"Does she... she doesn't have a boyfriend, right? I'm asking for a friend." He said.
She sighed, "She doesn't. Her parents would never let her. They'd kill her."
Gaeul could see Jungkook's face light up.
He smiled, "So, it's her parents? She can't have a boyfriend because of her parents?"
"Yeah, pretty much."
"So would you do me a favour?" Jungkook asked.
"Sure, what is it?" Maybe it was her only chance to get closer to Jungkook, she wasn't going to risk it.
"Bring her to the basketball game this evening. I- my friend will handle the rest."
Gaeul wasn't dumb, she knew this wasn't for his friend. But whatever, she thought, you were probably too stuck up to date someone like Jungkook anyway.
Jungkook was really easy-going and shy and always loved to beat your ass in a match.
You on the other hand loved confident guys and were competitive. It wasn't surprising to know that half the school had a crush on you and Jungkook was among them.
But there was no way you would like Jungkook, right? Right...?
Oh, Gaeul was so wrong. She realised it way too late when she saw you two kissing in the gymnasium.
So after she balled her eyes out for a day or two, she decided it's enough. She was tired of you being better than her.
"Gaeul!" You approached her and hugged her.
"Hey, Y/n." She feigned a smile.
"I cannot thank you enough. You unknowingly helped me and Jungkook a lot."
She realised that she could one-up you. You were hot, for sure. But Gaeul had experience, she could seduce Jungkook easily.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"Would you stop? I'm not telling Y/n about this because you are her best friend. Think about her." Jungkook had pulled Gaeul aside. "Plus, don't you have a boyfriend? Second one this month?"
Your friend group was at a club celebrating your nineteenth birthday. You were finally legal and Jungkook decided he'd teach you a thing or two about drinking.
She put a hand on the man's chest and stepped closer, "They would never know. Plus, you have your needs. I'm sure you won't be satisfied by her."
"Shut up, Gaeul. Stop trying to make moves on me, it's not going to work." He walked back to the bar where you were getting a bit too tipsy.
Your best friend watched as he led you outside the club, probably to get you back to your shared apartment.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
But one faithful night for Gaeul, was when you were sick and she found Jungkook studying in the college library alone.
Jungkook didn't notice her until she sat beside him, her skimpy skirt riding up catching his eye.
He cleared his throat and whispered, "What do you want?"
She leaned forward and whispered back, "You know what I want." And placed a hand on his well-built thigh.
But surprisingly, he didn't react to her touch as usual—like it was poison.
He was extremely stressed due to his finals. You being sick didn't help.
"Why do you do this?" He asked eyeing her legs.
"Maybe because I can love you more than Y/n could ever dream of."
He raised his eyebrow, "Trust me, I don't even wanna know. I can't do this right now, just leave."
Her hand trailed up, "Maybe you could use a little stress relief?"
Jungkook tried to make sense of it all, why did he do it? He loved you more than anything, more than he could ever imagine loving anyone. Yet, he found himself buried inside some other girl.
When he returned home, he hoped you were asleep because he was sure he couldn't face you. But you weren't, you stayed up, waiting for him.
He cried in your arms, muttering around a hundred sorry's. He never said why he was apologising. But you kept saying you loved him through it all which made it worse for him.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Jungkook got up from her bed, finding his shirt, "We can't keep doing this, I-"
"You give in to me all the time, Jungkook. I'm starting to feel bad for Y/n." Gaeul passed him his underwear.
"You're literally the worst person in the world and not to mention the best actor." He slung his bag over his shoulder and looked at her naked form for what he promised himself was the last time.
She smirked, "I'd do it all for love."
"Fuck you."
And fuck her is what he did over the years. Over and over and over again. He knew it was strictly physical for him but for her, he was the love of her life.
He decided to get married to you and maybe then Gaeul would stop. But it was him, he was the problem. He couldn't stop himself.
He knew you were more than enough for him. He could give you all the love he had with him then why?
He gave up at some point, he gave up trying to be loyal to you.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"Jungkook?" You sat beside him on the couch.
"Yeah, baby?" He looked up from his phone, a smile still evident on his features. No doubt, he was texting her.
Jungkook noticed the change in your behaviour and appearance. You didn't wear his hoodies, the colour under your eyes became darker by the day, you rejected cuddles and never even asked or let him have sex with you, which was weird since the both of you had similar drives.
And the worst of it all, he didn't see you smile during these days.
So now, he was a bit surprised when he realised you initiated a conversation.
He placed his phone aside and slid closer to you. He didn't offer you any hugs or cuddles because he knew something was off.
"Eunwoo's gonna come over to help me with something." Your voice cracked despite your efforts to be stable and calm about it.
He smiled, "Yeah? Sure, we can have him over for as long as you'd like. But why can't I help you?"
"It's nothing. He'll be here in a few hours." You got up and tried to leave. Much to your dismay, your husband held your wrist to stop you.
"Are you alright, baby?" The question almost made you scoff. But you didn't. You wanted to scream at yourself because you didn't scoff at him and leave.
Instead, you melted into his touch and smiled.
"I'm- yeah, I'm good." You said as he pulled you onto his lap. The feeling was so familiar, almost like it was second nature to you.
You wanted to slap him, yell at him, throw a tantrum. But you didn't.
You sighed as your body softened. He caressed your hair, it was an instinct.
"Tell me." He whispered while kissing the top of your head.
You gulped, this was bad. This was so, so bad. You never wanted to be in this position with him today. You should have left. But you didn't.
Instead, you let him kiss you. You were human afterall, how could you stop yourself from loving your own husband?
It felt like home.
He felt like home.
But you weren't his.
Your own best friend could provide him with more comfort than you could.
You sighed into the kiss, letting him take over.
Just one more time wouldn't hurt, right? Letting him take care of you just once more? You begged yourself not to fall into him even if it was the last time. But you couldn't help yourself.
You broke the kiss, eyes tearing up, "Jungkook..."
"What is it, baby?" He pulled you into a hug.
It took you a few seconds to calm your breaths, "Am I enough?"
He pulled back to look you straight in the eyes, lying to you was a second nature to him at this point, "Yeah, baby. I would never want anyone but you."
You smiled, "You sure?"
Jungkook couldn't help but feel as if something, heck, a lot was off about your question.
He should have been truthful, he should have been honest at the time, maybe you would have stayed, "I'd never lie to you."
You couldn't help but chuckle a bit at his response making him confused. There was no way you found out anything about him and Gaeul, right?
You got up, "I'll just be in the bedroom..."
It was so casual, as if you didn't know anything. It was so uncanny for Jungkook. As if it was a normal day for you two. But it was anything but normal.
After a while, one of your college friends, Eunwoo rang the doorbell. You didn't even need to think twice before opening it.
Your friend was fuming to say the least and mind you, Eunwoo was never even angry.
"Where is he?" He asked.
"Eunwoo, I just... let's just leave." You said giving him space to come inside the house.
"Leave? You want to just leave after what he did?" He asked, frowning.
You sighed, eyes in a constant state of glistening, "I don't want to-"
"Hey, man. What's up?" Your husband walked in, greeting your friend.
But instead of some kind words, Eunwoo was quick to greet him with his fist to Jungkook's jaw.
The hit was so hard and sudden, it made him fall onto the floor.
"Jungkook!" You gasped trying to get to him but Eunwoo didn't let you. He held you behind him, protecting you like Jungkook was a wild animal and your friend was your guard.
Your husband was stunned but didn't stay down for long. He wiped his bloody lip with the back of his hand.
"You befriend my wife, come to my house and hit me? What the fuck was that?"
Eunwoo chuckled bitterly, "You don't deserve to call her your wife. That was for what you did."
Surely, you didn't know about Gaeul and him. But the way Eunwoo just hit him told him something else.
"I don't want this, let's leave, please." You tried to reason with him.
Jungkook looked visibly confused to which Eunwoo replied, "I'm taking her to my house."
"W-What do you mean?" Jungkook's eyes caught yours.
"Do I really need to explain, Jeon? I'm talking about Gaeul and you. I can't let Y/n stay here with you."
All the colour on Jungkook's face instantly turned pale, the only contrast being his busted lip.
"Y/n, it's not- I- no..." He looked at you for anything, a single word but all you did was look away, tears threatening to fall.
"Don't even try to explain, she's leaving with me."
Jungkook blinked, processing it all. You couldn't leave him. There was no way he was letting you leave with someone else.
"Y/n, please hear me out... it was nothing, I tried to-" He was cut off by another hit to his jaw making him stumble backwards.
This time you didn't bother to look at him. You knew Eunwoo was holding himself back for you. You couldn't bear seeing Jungkook hurt like that.
"You actually have no shame, huh? Stop trying to explain anything. I know, she knows."
Jungkook walked towards you, trying to touch you, he was already crying. But Eunwoo didn't let him near you.
"Please, Y/n, listen to me. I- please..." His voice came out coarse and his breath, bated.
Eunwoo looked disgusted at him, after what he did, he should not even have a chance to explain himself. But Jungkook fell onto his knees, looking up at you.
"I beg you, Y/n. Don't leave me. Please. I love you. I love you more than anything."
But you couldn't bear to look at him, instead, you looked at Eunwoo and silently whispered to him, "Shall we leave?" Your tears betrayed your commands.
Your friend took your hand in his, and led you away from Jungkook, away from the love of your life. Away from everything you ever had.
Jungkook knew he couldn't stop you. Not when you had your friend with you, not when he knew you didn't want to stay.
But he still rushed to you, and hugged your legs, "I can't do this without you, Y/n. Please, please.... don't do this to me."
You looked down and caressed his hair, all you could do was smile, "I love you, Jungkook. You are my everything, but I'm not yours."
"No, no, Y/n. I don't want anything or anyone but you. I promise you the world."
"You did that 11 years ago as well, but look at us now." You kept caressing his hair, it felt so familiar.
Jungkook knew there was nothing he could do, "No, I-"
"Get off of her, that's enough."
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Gaeul entered the house in a rush, "Jungkook?"
The said man was lying practically lifeless on the couch. He didn't even bother to see or acknowledge her.
"Jungkook, hey baby. Finally, she left. I heard-"
Jungkook just simply whispered, "Get out..."
"What?"
"Get the fuck out of my house..."
"What's wrong? Aren't you relieved that she left?"
"I don't want to see your face, ever. Just go away before I do something."
Gaeul flinched, "Kookie, come on..."
"I said..." Jungkook yelled at her, "...get the fuck out before I hurt you."
"What did I do?" She backed away.
"What did you do? You ruined everything. And for what? Some high school jealousy? I love her, Gaeul. Never in a million years can I live without her."
She looked annoyed, "After all these years? You still love her? Then why the fuck would you fuck me? Say all those pretty words to me instead of her?"
Jungkook had no idea why.
He was the one who ruined it all, Gaeul was just a factor. But blaming her made it much less painful than it already was.
"I never loved you, Gaeul. I've always loved Y/n. You have never been enough for me."
"What are you talking about?"
"You have always known it's going to be her, I would never want to be with you."
Gaeul blinked, trying to process it all. She knew Jungkook didn't love her but saying it out loud in this way?
She had originally planned to ruin your relationship as a challenge for herself, but along the way, she fell in love. And Jungkook always ignored it.
She always assumed it was because he didn't want a messy break up and loved the thrill of it all.
"Jungkook..."
He closed his eyes and covered his eyes with his forearm, not wanting to see or hear anymore from her.
"So that's it? We're over?" She looked at him for a denial.
"How delusional can you be? We never were anything."
She chuckled, "And that is why you ruined your marriage?"
"And what about you? Feeling better about your insecure self?" He replied.
"Jungkook, listen to me. We can start over, leave her behind..."
And that is how Jungkook ended up throwing her out of the house.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
A knock on your door woke you up. You had no idea when you fell asleep, exhausted from all the happenings and crying.
Every moment felt like a burden to you. Every breath felt heavy. You had poured everything in for Jungkook and now you were completely drained.
You told yourself repeatedly, it was not your fault, not even a bit. But you couldn't deny that you tried to ignore all the bright red signs.
You sat up, your arms barely helped. The brush of your shirt against your stomach burned because of the fresh cuts you gave yourself.
You were living at Eunwoo's house for the past 2 weeks. He had been really supportive through every single bit of this ordeal. He even let you sleep on the bed while he rested on the couch.
Staying with him felt really comfortable, he made sure you had everything you needed. But it reminded you of Jungkook, and how he never let anything bother you.
"Hey... are you alright?" He said, entering.
You smile, "Much better I think. Cried more than I should."
"I uh- I'm sorry for this but..."
"But what?"
"Someone..." He sighed, "Jungkook is here to talk to you."
You looked down at your sleeve-clad hands on your lap, you knew this time was coming. You knew you had to talk to him. Forgiveness was not an option but talking would help a lot with the closure.
You had blocked Jungkook a couple of days after you left. He never stopped calling, not even for a single minute, hoping you'd pick up. Everytime he did, your heart physically ached for him.
But despite this, you weren't sure if you could talk to him without breaking down.
You weren't sure how you survived this long.
You didn't want to survive this long.
"I'll stay here while you two talk, is that fine?" Eunwoo asked.
You took a deep breath. You had thought this through, "I wanna be alone with him."
"Are you sure, I don't mind staying here."
"It's going to be fine, Eunwoo."
Your friend nodded and stepped aside and left letting your ex-lover step inside.
You could barely recognise him. He looked extremely dehydrated and starved. His cheeks no longer held their plumpness. His eyes only seemed to hold life the moment they were laid on you. He looked drunk. But you could tell he made an effort to look presentable to you.
The two of you mirrored each other when your eyes met. Jungkook, however, was the first to let his tears flow.
"Y/n..." He tested the waters by slowly walking towards the bed you were sitting on.
He kneeled down near the edge and extended his arms to touch you. But you didn't let him and it didn't take a genius to understand why.
"S-Say what you want to, Jungkook." You mentally cursed at yourself for stuttering. But how were you supposed to stay calm?
Jungkook had a whole speech prepared. He wanted to apologise for everything he did, everything he lied about and assurr you that he'd never do it again.
But all he could mutter up was, "I'm sorry, Y/n..."
"How long?" You asked. You were always a calm person, and always relied on Jungkook to stand up for you.
He gulped at your stern tone, "5 years..."
The crack in your heart could be heard by him. Tears were long out of your control.
"Y-You... for 5 fucking years?" You cried, "You were with that bitch for 5 years? Jungkook, did you ever even love me?"
"I love you, Y/n, please believe me on this. It was strictly physical with Gaeul."
You scoffed, "Does that even matter!? You fucked my best friend for 5 years, Jungkook. You fucked her when I was right beside you two."
His eyes widened, he had no idea you were awake at the time. He looked at you with pure pain in his eyes. Jungkook wasn't much of an empath but he could feel everything when he was with you.
"If you loved me..." You sobbed, "...you would've told me what the hell was wrong with me. Wasn't I enough?"
"No, no, Y/n, baby. You are more than enough, I-"
Jungkook's eyes landed on your wrist where your sleeve had ridden up. He looked more heartbroken than ever. As if the ground under his feet suddenly decided it didn't want to hold him up.
"Y/n... y-you started again?"
It took you a while but when you realised what he was referring to, you quickly covered your whole body with a blanket, still feeling as if it wasn't enough.
"Please..." He bowed down with his head on the edge of the bed, "...please forgive me, I- I never wanted this to happen..."
You couldn't help but roll your eyes at him, "But it did happen, Jungkook. And I can never forgive you for it. Maybe if it was a one night thing, heck, even a few couple of times. But we're talking 5 years."
He continued crying with his head down. You reached out to touch the back of his hand, which was held in a fist.
He immediately relaxed at your action.
"You humiliated me, Jungkook. Y-You keep apologising but it won't change the fact."
He looked up at you, you face kind as ever. He wanted you to be screaming at him, throwing stuff at him, he didn't even mind if you beat the living shit out of him. He hated this, he hated this so much.
He was the cause of what you were going through, he was the exact things he tried all his life to save you from—pain and disappointment.
"Jungkook?" You said, ever-so-calmly. But everything that had happened was evident in your shaky voice.
"Y-Yeah?"
"Do you love me? Even a little bit?"
It didn't take a single millisecond for him to answer, "Never have I ever loved anything more than I love you..."
"Then, let me let go of you." You whispered, bringing his hand to your lips and placing one last small kiss.
He shuddered, trying his best to not let go of your hand, but it slipped.
Everything he ever had, everything he ever wanted, lost.
You didn't say anything, you didn't need to. Jungkook knew you better than you did, he knew what your words signified. It was the end. The end of everything.
The sound of the door opening, Eunwoo speaking, everything seemed drowned out for him.
He didn't say anything either, he just got up and left. He didn't know where to, he didn't have a home, just an empty shell of what used to be.

Slippery Concoction | Shower sex (but you slip) [M]
Tumblr media
pairing: jeon jungkook x female reader
wc: 1.15k
rating: 18+
warnings: attempt on sexual intercourse (never continued), heavy language, make-out session, what else... oh, and reddened butts
summary: you were having a peaceful shower when your boyfriend suddenly shows up, and let's say things get berry intimate, until your talent of clumsiness decides to bubble up. (puns intended)
Tumblr media
"Fuck" you whispered, the bar of soap annoyingly slipping out of your hold. Carefully bending down to grab the cleansing concoction, a curse left your mouth yet again as it slipped across the bathroom tiles.
"You know what, fuck you" scoffing in annoyance, you placed your hand on the cold, tiled wall to support yourself on standing up. "Body wash exists for a reason"
Turning the knob that controls the shower head above you, you let the cold air hit you as your nude body approached the cabinet. Finally finding what you were looking for, you took the bottle before smiling to yourself.
It was Jungkook's favorite body wash. Well, it's his favorite when you use it, due to its strong (but not too strong) strawberry scent. Usually, you reserve it only for the times Jungkook would be over, since you got this abroad and not to mention, way out of your budget when it comes to soap. But you definitely didn't mind using it now.
Just when you were about to return to your previous spot, the bottle somehow slips from your grip making you extremely furious. You were supposed to have a relaxing, me-time, yet here you are, being the clumsiest person to ever exist. "what th—"
Tumblr media
"—E FUCK"
You screamed, hugging yourself tight as you involuntarily took the closest thing to you and raised it up as a weapon to defend yourself from the unknown intruder.
Oh, it definitely wasn't an intruder.
Though you would consider him as one as you stood in this position.
"JEON?? WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU BARGE IN LIKE THAT"
"Woah woah, calm down. You might hit me with that,…" he paused, stifling a laugh. Raising your eyebrow, you noticed your tight grip on the toilet brush.
"What are you doing showering with a toilet brush?" tilting his head, you dropped the said item before rolling your eyes. "And what the hell are you doing here, Jeon? Can't you see I'm showering?"
"You left the door open."
"Doesn't mean you could just enter like that," you scoffed, closing the shower curtains to block him from your view, in which he shoved back open, allowing him to get a view of your bare back— and, well, your arse. "But, I smelled the strawberry"
"Hmm, black lace laid on your bed… bathroom door open, and my favorite strawberry showergel. It's like you were expecting me, were you?"
Well, he wasn't quite wrong. You had a small, very tiny feeling he'd come, considering that it was a Friday, and no big events were planned the next few days, though you never really intended all those things he just said— it was just a mere coincidence.
"Koo, let me finish showering" you spoke, and although your back faced him, you can envision his smirk in your mind. "Hm. Alright then," hearing a tad bit of disappointment in his voice, you can't help but feel disappointed yourself
You didn't think he'd give in so—
"Gosh, you and your shower gel really turns me on,"
Oh. Nevermind. Spoke too soon.
Turning your head around, your mouth hung open as you saw his naked body standing behind you. "What the fuck?
"When did you… undress yourself?" looking at him only on his face, you try your best to not drift your eyes further away.
"Just now." opening your mouth, you close if back shut halting whatever you were about to say. Well, you had nothing to say anyways.
You rolled your eyes, facing back the front as you felt him wrap his arms around your waist, and place his chin on your shoulder. "Can I fuck you?" he asked ever so casually, as if he was a child asking permission to borrow someone's phone.
"I- uh- isn't shower sex a little bit too overrated?"
Lifting his face up, he removed his hold from your waist and spoke, "You know, I wouldn't say no to such a wonderful, charming boyfriend like me. Do you know ho‐"
His words paused, as you made a rather bold movement to shut him up. Lips firmly pressed against his, you can feel his smile through the kiss, and his arms snaking back to your waist.
Separating from the soft kiss, Jungkook's forehead leaned against yours, a grin appearing on his face. "You were talking too much." you let out in almost a whisper.
"I knew it would work," you rolled your eyes, but to prevent you from running away from him (and possibly rejecting him), Jungkook acted fast to bring your lips back to his, in which you immediately melted in.
Not parting from each other, Jungkook gently pressed you against the cold wall, the sound of water droplets from the shower head echoing through the room. Though it was wasting tons of water, you were too caught up in the moment to even care.
Parting to both catch your breaths, Jungkook once again leaned his forehead against yours, his lidded eyes scanning your body. "I missed you so much,"
"Hm., is that why you couldn't wait until I finished showering?" you put on a confident smile, your hands crawling up to your fiance's neck. Jungkook only hummed in response, as you scanned his face, kissing the mole below his lips afterwards.
No exchange of words were heard afterwards, as Jungkook cupped your face to kiss you once again. The feeling was amazing— you knew you felt it hundreds and thousands of times before yet butterflies won't ever stop fluttering in your stomach whenever he does this, kiss you.
Knee pressing against your center, you couldn't help but let out a moan at the sudden contact, allowing him to kiss you even deeper. His warm hand was caressing your waist, making you absolutely crazy.
Pulling away from the heated kiss, both of your panting filling the room. Seeing water still running from the shower head, you gently pushed your lover away to turn it off.
But, things seemed to happen so fast.
The bar of soap you screamed at earlier slid beneath your feet, as you closed your eyes preparing for the impact, but for a second, you felt a weight holding you up until you hit the slippery tiles butt first with a loud thump.
Groaning in unison, you widen your eyes to realize that Jungkook slipped with you as well. "Fuck," he muttered, rubbing his behind which was sore from the impact.
"Oh my god," you whispered, turning around to face him. From the looks of it, it seems like Jungkook was the one much more hurt at the moment.
"God, you almost crushed my dick" he winced, a laugh slipping out your mouth, which you immediately stifled. "Oh my god, are you okay?" you spoke, trying hard to conceal your laughter.
"You know, I should be the one laughing at you right now. Really? Slipping on a bar of soap? While making out with me?" he said, obviously jokingly.
"I told you shower sex was overrated."

All the things we left unsaid
Finally after 2 months, chapter 5 is out!!!
Fair warning there are some depressive behaviour and thoughts in this chapter.
Here's a snippet of the new chapter:
Namjoon's apartment was spacious and modern. That was her first thought as she stood in the small passage that lead her into the open plan; the big, flatscreen TV mounted on the wall catching her attention next. She noticed the kitchen to her right as she stepped further into the apartment.
There were two stools placed behind the kitchen island, and her eyes tracked the space from the stools to the lounge, where the big TV was mounted. The L-shaped couches in the lounge looked well-loved with a dark coffee table tying the room together. There was a space between the couches and the back wall (which had some artwork on it) and if one walked through that space, they could get to the balcony which provided a stunning view of the city.
She only had a moment to take in the apartment before Namjoon was ushering her passed the kitchen, turned her right, and then lead her into the corridor. To her left were two doors and to her right was one.
Namjoon opened the door to the first room on the left side before looking back at her. She noticed a flicker of hesitancy flutter across his eyes but it was gone before she could ponder too long on his expression. He offered her a polite smile - or she thought he did since he had a mask on, she could see his eyes crinkle though - and told her to step through the room first.
The room itself was on the bigger side, though she wouldn't describe it as being ridiculously huge like one might see in the movies. The bed was centred against the far wall, there were built-in cupboards on her left and there was a desk placed near the front right corner of the room with a desktop set up and a few trinkets scattered about the surface.
"This is the guest bedroom. I normally just use the desk in the room for work and gaming when no one is staying over," Namjoon explained. She saw him take a quick glance at her in her periphery. "The bathroom across the hall is all yours to use since I have my own ensuite in my bedroom."
Finally, she turned to him and gave him a tight smile.
"Thank you for opening up your home to me," she said. "I know this is a strange situation."
"You don't have to thank me. The situation is strange; that's why I offered to let you stay with me," he said, rubbing the back of his head
They fell into an awkward silence for a moment. She averted her gaze to the bed. Namjoon seemed to follow her line of sight because he spoke up again as he took a step back.
"Right, I should let you get acquainted with the room. I'll come in later with some food and masks for you to use when you want to use the bathroom." He took more backward steps to the door. "Remember the quarantine is only two weeks."
Two weeks... If she could survive lockdown, then she could survive two weeks of quarantine in a stranger's home. That's right, Namjoon was a stranger. She may have been familiar with Rap Monster, the famous K-Pop idol, but she knew next to nothing about the man that she had agreed to share an apartment with. But he had kindly offered up his home to her, surely he wasn't a bad person. Then again, you could never be too sure.
Just before he walked out of the room, as if sensing her unease, Namjoon stopped and said one last thing.
"There's a key here for you to lock the room whenever you want," he said, pulling the door forward to show her that there really was a key there.
She offered him one last tight-lipped smile before he closed the door, and let out a long sigh once he was gone. She ran a hand through her hair as she looked around the room once more. It was so empty; bare of anything that showed signs of life. Well, except for the desk but that was Namjoon's so it didn't feel right to go near it. She turned back to the door and took a few steps forward so she could lock the door.
She just had to get through these two weeks. Hopefully by then she would've figured out a way to get back home.

A Literal Sex Magnet, Kim Taehyung (Taekook Fanfic)
'See the thing about Taehyung being a literal sex magnet, is that at first, you may think it’s a joke. Maybe you think he just means that he is good at finding a lot of sex partners, or that he just generally has tons of sex with his boyfriend.
But no…once you hear all the stories and begin to hear the new stories of his sex magnet life… you come to realize that it is not a joke. Yet you can’t help but still find it a little bit hilarious, still can’t help but think how unlucky the one and only Kim Taehyung is.'
~ Or Taehyung has a weird thing where he constantly finds people having sex. He's like a magnet. A sex magnet. Literally.
