i dont consider myself a very skilled artist yet, and im also not an art student, but im willing to give some (personal) tips i learned along the journey i went through in making art!

(assuming anon means art in general not comics)

1. (this is obvious but some actually dont do this, ok tbh even i dont because im lazy lol) watch tutorials from the internet, like youtube. there are a lot of videos available there from pro artists!

2. practice anatomy first, or linearting. you can start learning more about rendering later. if you want to focus more on making pretty but simple art, then you should study how to draw anatomy decently first, then you can just use some flat colors if youre not confident yet or still practicing your rendering! because from what i observed from my past artworks, detailed rendering doesnt do much if the anatomy and lineart aren't done well TT (anatomy doesnt have to be accurate by the way, as long as it looks aesthetically pleasing to the eyes youre good! imo at least)

3. steal some processes from other artists, then mix it with your own. it helps in experimenting and building your own style that you find comfortable to do! but you dont really have to find a specific style, you can draw inconsistently, if that's what makes you enjoy art! dont pressure yourself in finding a style, take your time! it even took me almost a decade to find mine (yes i just found a style im satisfied with recently that i can actually make consistently TT)

4. for rendering, im not confident in giving tips regarding it yet, because im still struggling with lighting and such. but im willing to share my process next time with images! just ask again if youre interested ^^

5. the most important part, have fun with the process! this sounds cliche, but to me this is what my goal is currently. i used to enjoy making them so much when i started, so im doing my best to feel happy with the process again, not only focusing on the result! also i believe in [happy process = good result] hehe

I never felt like enough, which is unexpected when you’re constantly put out into the media and are being portrayed as “the happiest person alive” everyone wants my life many envy my family and my life style but not very many people understand it, and I mean truly understand it. Underneath the media personality I had to put on as an avengers daughter and a future avenger hid many scars.

It started a few years ago on accident I was shaving my legs when I accidentally sliced myself. But my reaction wasnt the same as it used to be, instead of being upset I was relieved. It felt like an escape and from that moment foward it felt impossible to stop

Everything felt out of control, my world was spiralling and so I went to the one thing that put me in control. My razor blades. I took the elevator up to the secluded floor I knew what I was doing in order for me to not get caught I had to think smart. I had this memorized, never say where your going, never go to that floor with another avenger and never use your own room.

I told friday the floor number remaining as composed as possible the cracks in my voice a dead giveaway “ mrs stark are you alright your blood pressure and heart rate have dramatically increased” taking a deep breath I reply to the ai “im fine fri” using an irritated tone in an attempt to conceal how im crumbling apart “ are you sure mrs stark? I can contact your father if needed” fridays tone questioning and concerned “im fine friday im just not feeling well” And I darted out of the elevator the moment the doors where opened

I opened the drawer containg the one thing I needed my razor as I smashed it against the floor over and over again until the metal blades broke free and I grabbed one and pushed it into my leg letting the metal drag across my skin. The blood dripping down my leg.

I was having an anxiety attack in front kd my dad who sat there eyes wide motiomless and wearing a shocked expression he came to sit down next tk me stroking my back while I sobbed wildy he pulled me into his chest while I fought against him throwing weak haphazard punches and his shoulder screaming kicking and crying to be let go off but he knly held me tighter and stroked my hair gently shishing me quieting my cries as he had done when i was younger to console me .

Hey Keri - I am a fic writer and I get a lot of anon hate. How do you deal with anon hate, if you even get any (I can’t imagine folks hating you). I do my best to ignore, but it can feel very demoralizing.

I do get hate, believe me, there are plenty of people here who doesn't like me. What's funny is the ones who talk shit and think I don't know about it.

I'm still a work in progress, because I get pissed off at the audacity of the comments, and I will pop back with sarcasm. However, it only escalates and causes more comments coming in and gives you a general feeling of dread when the notification pops up at that you have an inbox message.

My best advice? Turn off anon if it's really bad. Most people are cowards who want to beat up others to feel morally superior but don't have the stones to put their username on it.

If you can't turn off anon because you don't want to alienate those who are shy and want to interact anonymously, then I would just immediately bin the message. Don't give them any indication that you've seen it. They will drive themselves crazy wondering if Tumblr glitched and their little shitty, hateful message even went through, or they will learn that you aren't any fun to bait. Either way, enjoy the amusement of imagining them constantly refreshing the page of someone they detest enough to send hate to, obsessed with seeing your reaction to it, only to be disappointed again and again.

Most of my fanfictions are in reader-insert format. I am not very experienced in writing character x character or OC x character pairings, so I may not accept requests for these.

Hot Take: Love James Bond, even more with class and without the misogyny; kind of strange that it took until 2006 for that to happen. Daniel Craig is the best Bond. Not accepting rebuttals at this time.

So Johnny reminds me of my dad if he had made bad decisions, was obsessed with karate and childhood rivalries, and had never grown up. That means nothing to everyone else, but is endlessly hilarious to me.

It’s honestly tied between Nick and Ernie, but nothing makes me laugh more than “Im GoNnA kIcK yOuR aSs MaN” and “I’M A MAN JESSICA”-- Two quotes that have been integrated into mine and my fiancé's reference library and are utilized way too often.

I might be spamming a bit rn but I’m bored and nobody responds to me so here I am again haha

I just wanted to say how much I love the concept of going on anon but having a ‘name‘. I feel like I can be a lot more myself like this, engaging in things I might usually be insecure or anxious about (I’m a super anxious person and constantly overthinking). But at the same time, I feel like I’m a person. Maybe a little like a character you get to know more and more about, a little at a time. With every ask I send you get a little bit more information to build a picture of me. This concept is just awesome to me (I understand it if people dislike it, like having a name and/or building a ‘persona‘ like that, but for me personally, I definitely enjoy it)

I also wanted to say that I feel very seen and I really like being here and sending asks to you! It‘s super comforting

I can understand how comforting the anonymity is, yet also wanting to be recognized and remembered. Not confused with other anons. I get it. I don't go on anon because I want to build those connections, but I can also speak as freely as I do here because of the blog identity and the tumblr name, it's not like, my legal name you know, so I totally feel the freedom in the detachment with the self.
