Ways to Check In with Yourself
What I personally use, and you could too. I check in with myself everyday.
1. Asking myself if there’s anything that’s bothering me at work
Sometimes I’m bothered by work I’ve been procrastinating about; or reaching out a contact I know I should’ve reached out to earlier. I then start making a list on my notes, making bullet points for each task.
Noting it down helps me visualise what I need to do, and ensuring that I get it done.
I do this by using prompts. I write these down in my notes app, I open them whenever I decide to check in with myself.
These are my work check- in questions:
A. Am I stressed at the moment?
B. If I am, why?
C. What do I need to do for myself right now?
D. Do I need someone else’s help for this?
E. If yes, who is that person?
F. What do I need to do today in order to end my day with a peaceful mind?
2. At social events - going to the bathroom alone to collect myself
Sometimes, at events, I’ll go to the bathroom for 5 minutes to regroup myself. I ask myself how I’m feeling and what I’m feeling if I’m at a party, this is the point where I consider if I can drink* more or not/ sober up a bit. I also take the time to make a semi decent game plan.
A. How am I feeling?
B. Am I in a state where I can drink more?
C. When was the last time I drank water?
D. Am I hungry?
E. How am I getting home - do I have a cab booked, is someone going to drop me, am I going home by myself?
F. Do I want to leave right now or am I having a good time?
*I do not encourage minors drinking - please drink responsibly
3. Using this free app called How We Feel
I absolutely adore it. It helps you check in with your feelings, identify them, understand triggers and show you a different perspective on handling things.
Personally speaking, I’ve set the reminders to 3 times a day (morning, afternoon and evening) so that I can track myself better.

My Serebii Search app that allows you to easily search for a Pokémon's Serebii page has by generation has been updated for both Windows and Android to now properly search for Gen 9 using updated data from Serebii's national dex.
Issue Addressed: I use a program I made to download data from Serebii’s national dex page to help the app search for the right pokémon, but the national dex page wasn’t update for gen 9 right away, so I had to make a temporary solution. The temporary solution unfortunately meant that the app wouldn’t tell you before you searched if the pokémon you searched for couldn’t be found. Now it does.
What is the app? I made this app a while back for @servobreaker to make it to search for a pokémon’s Serebii page by generation for the purpose of nuzlockes or other pokémon runs. Using Serebii’s navigation or search feature results in a lot more reading and many more clicks to get to the exact generation page you want, as well as Serebii for some reason hardly appears on search engine results. This app makes it easy to search on your phone or windows desktop for the info by simply typing and pressing a button. Check it out if that sounds useful to you, it’s free.
Related: The app is up on my github (/ConnorCoxAGD) as well. You can see the code for the app itself as well as the program that downloads the Serebii data. The purpose of making this app for me was to about making Android apps from C# as well as learning how to scrape the web for specific data. If you’re interested in knowing how to do some of this stuff, or even adding to the silly little project, you can go look at the code. It’s very small scale and should be easy to read.

Inbox Dollars
Want to make money while playing games or taking surveys? If "yes", why not try this mobile app called Index Dollars? This will give you a list of surveys, games, tools that you use and get money for it. Plus it's free. Yeah, that's a groovy thing.
I encountered this when looking for some way to make a bit of extra cash and it works very well. I've even encountered one of my fav mobile games 2048 that I can play and make some change. To be fair, I do have to give ya' a heads-up, it can be pretty "ad heavy". Depending on what game you play, you can earn tools/items via watching app. For example from that Candy Crush game.
You can get it on Google Play or download on the Apple App Store.
You can check out their website here: https://www.inboxdollars.com/

Note
Duolingo is a great free app to learn how to speak other languages.
Really? Huh. I need to keep that in mind. That would be cool.
