you’re the biggest supporter around. i remember how proud you were when you made your own ntdp hoodie to wear at games that had mine, jack’s, trevor’s, and alex’s name and number on the back because you refused to just support one of us. you’ve caught endless planes to watch any of us play, especially when it’s against each other. you got on a plane to be there after my surgery this year. you make sure no one is ever alone, which is something truly rare.

lhughes_06 happy birthday, sissy! growing up with you was a ride, and i wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. realizing you actually weren’t legally and by blood my sister was the biggest shock of my life. but when i grew up, i realized you are my actual sister, and these last five years have proved that even more.

everybody deserves a sissy. you flying out to florida to watch frozen four was amazing, but you staying after i left to be with the team and support them just because eddy asked you to was even more amazing. you didn’t have to be there for them, hell you didn’t have to be there for me, but you were anyways. don’t tackle duker for telling me about the sleepover party, because i just want to thank you for it. you met my friends and immediately decided that you were going to be their “mom,” and you have more than done that. you didn’t have to do the sleepovers like you do for me, but you did, and then made your way to jersey to watch me sign my contract. like quinny said, you’re wonder woman.

Heath was born in Dallas. His mother was a burlesque dancer and his dad a mechanic. His mother was an alcoholic and abusive, she also struggled with drug addiction and would constantly disappear from home for weeks at a time. His father got tired of this and moved with his children to a trailer park, where he raised them as a single dad.

His father was part of a motorcycle gang, mostly former by getaway drivers with criminal ties, the kids spent much of their time under their protection, they considered them family and that was where Heath developed his passion for cars.

He started driving karts, the first step in the craft of racing, learning from control to adapting to the race track for speed. He entered karting competitions, was skilled and started to attract attention from sponsors. Different local and national competitions, getting a few good wins under his belt.

His father was killed in a confrontation between the group and the police, which made Heath responsible for his younger sibling. Due to family connections, they find their way to NYC. Necessity made him join the criminal world for a quick way out, doing the unimaginable to guarantee their survival since they no longer had protection.

He built for himself a small group of criminals that he had met along the way, they lived in the shadows. Started with small thefts and riots, until they evolved into kidnapping, blackmailing, extortion - and murder. yes, they knew it would reach extreme measures as soon as attacks on government buildings and high ranking individuals started to happen. It was a common fact among the powerful, they always had the fire lit faster when someone was about to die. And he wanted that kind of attention.

As the years went by he could see the improvement, they were far from being rich but now they had their own small house and were comfortable for the first time. Decided to return to amateur kart competitions and attended different educational programs pursuing technical and mechanical backgrounds knowledge. Sponsorship and funding allowed him to get his full competition license, building a career.

After getting a FIA international grade A license, he began competing in the lower-tier series, getting the right kind of networking and catching the attention of team owners, opening doors to opportunities in high levels of F1.

Heath was superior to the majority. Amidst the clamor, the chaos, the endless hours of practice, he remained unbroken, untouched. His power hunger surpassed that of his peers, a relentless drive to go beyond, delve deeper, and endure farther. While many found themselves in a competition for attention - he simply prevailed, unequivocally. And he deserved it. He deserved to be seen and be heard, eat the rich as they devour everything around them.

Everyone who crossed his path tried brutally to tame him, breaking him into a thousand pieces, tirelessly seeking to reshape into different individuals. His essence could never be affected, you cannot corrupt something that has been rotten for a long time. He could feel all that poison in his blood, every step he took was like the tick tock of a time bomb about to burst - all those vile urges were devouring him from the inside out.

After winning F1 world championship for the eighth time ( six times consecutively) at forty, he decided to retire. He got bored. Not just of his career, but everything else. Contacts with shady sponsors allowed him to achieve even more exclusive cycles, and consequently even more skeletons in his closet.

Do you remember the small group of criminals from his teenage years? Now with more available resources, he joined a bigger version of it, even more lethal. The Brotherhod. Meticulously chosen individuals, whose every weakness could be exploited and shaped into a weapon.

The common enemy remained the same: government, with no prospect that that target would ever change. New adversaries appeared on the way, more organizations than they could count, but nothing that couldn't be turned into a vile public message of what would happen to anyone who got in their way.

Ira had repeatedly insisted all morning that it was going to rain, so it came as a pleasant surprise when the sun slowly crept out from behind the clouds as everyone filtered into the synagogue.

Henry walked in front of Ted, scanning the vast, intricate walls in awe. Formal occasions usually bored Henry. But this one was different - he didn’t have to wear a stiff, uncomfortable suit. He just had to look smart. 

Ted stopped Henry at the first row of pews and furrowed his brow. He waved at Trent and signaled him over. “Hey, uh, Trent? I don’t really know what the rules are - do we just sit anywhere or do you need us to go sit somewhere specific?”

Trent smiled. “Don’t worry about it, Ted. The synagogue may be Orthodox, but I’m not. Sit wherever you like.” He walked a few steps, then turned back to Ted, pulling his glasses down onto the bridge of his nose conspiratorially. “Please don’t tell my mother I said that.”

Ted held up a hand. “Scout’s honor.”

Trent hurried off again, watching his parents fawn over Ruth and Batsheva. He smiled sadly to himself, remembering his own bar mitzvah and how proud his parents had been. They didn’t know then that their beloved son would end up having to come out twice in order for them to believe him. And a third time to Rabbi Kellner ‘just to make sure’, whatever that meant.

Trent was a skinny and anxious eighteen year old when he told him he no longer wanted to live the Orthodox lifestyle if it meant his parents wouldn’t accept him - if Rabbi Kellner wouldn’t accept him. This man had all but raised him alongside Helen and Ira. He was just as much a member of his family as anyone else, and the thought of being completely rejected terrified him. But Rabbi Kellner understood. Trent was forever grateful for that. 

It was then that Rabbi Kellner seemed to materialize out of thin air. He was relatively young when he’d started to serve the community, but he’d always looked older. Now, he looked ancient.

“Trent! Shabbat shalom. Is everyone ready?”

“The children, yes. The adults? No. I remember standing up there myself, now my niece is old enough to do it. Time flies.”

“Indeed it does.” Rabbi Kellner’s eyes softened. “I’ll go and tidy the bimah to give everyone a few more minutes to get ready.”

In the pews, Henry shifted in his seat and swung his legs a little. The creak of the wood made Ted very aware of his own movements. He still hadn’t quite shaken off the awkwardness of walking into Paul Welton’s funeral late, all eyes on him because of how loudly the door had shut behind him.

“Henry, come on now, hush your butt. Sit tight buddy.”

“Sorry Dad.”

Ted put an arm around his son and gave his shoulder a light squeeze. “It’s okay. Just try and keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times.”

“You got it, Davy Crockett!”

“Ted?” 

His head jerked in a double take as he turned to see Rebecca leaning over their pew. As he looked at her, something rumbled inside him - and it definitely wasn’t Mae’s full English breakfast from an hour ago. As good as he was at bottling his emotions, sometimes his face betrayed him. This was, rather unavoidably,  one of those times. His face lit up as he greeted her - in fact, they both looked at each other with a great deal of warmth. It was as though no time had passed at all.

“Hey Rebecca! How the heck are ya?” 

In spite of how much her body had relaxed when he greeted her, her face was suddenly a little strained. “Good, thank you, Ted. You?”

“Yeah, good, yeah. Y’know, I don’t think you two have ever met - this is my son Henry.” He nudged Henry’s shoulder.

Henry shook Rebecca’s hand. “Nice to meet you Miss Welton.”

Rebecca raised her eyebrows, shooting Ted a surprised look. Ted bobbed his head a little, the smallest hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. Henry knew exactly who she was, even though they’d never met. Ted talked about her more than he was willing to admit. The fondness he held for Richmond had never faded. Coming back, even for just a few days, felt like coming home again.

A tall, bulky man appeared behind Rebecca, followed by a shy little girl. He pressed his palm to the small of Rebecca’s back, and she jolted.

“Oh, Ted, this is Matthjis.” She gestured between them. “Matthjis, this is Ted Lasso, my former colleague.”

“Pleasure to meet you.” Matthjis’ handshake was firm. Perhaps a little too firm for Ted’s liking. “This is my daughter Jelka.” He gently pressed Jelka’s shoulders, encouraging her forward. She was fixated on Henry, obviously much more comfortable in the company of other children. Henry smiled back awkwardly.

“We should probably go and sit down, otherwise we’ll hold up the service.” Rebecca half-laughed.

Ted nodded. “Nice to see ya.”

Rebecca replied with a hum and headed off to the opposite pew with Matthjis and Jelka, who snuggled in between them. Ted couldn’t help casting a glance at the three of them. His face had fallen now. His palms were a little sweaty. He didn’t quite know what to do with himself.

Henry studied his father’s face for a moment. He knew something was wrong, but didn’t ask what it was. He knew that sometimes it was better not to ask.

Heath was born in Dallas. His mother was a burlesque dancer and his dad a mechanic. His mother was an alcoholic and abusive, she also struggled with drug addiction and would constantly disappear from home for weeks at a time. His father got tired of this and moved with his children to a trailer park, where he raised them as a single dad.

His father was part of a motorcycle gang, mostly former by getaway drivers with criminal ties, the kids spent much of their time under their protection, they considered them family and that was where Heath developed his passion for cars.

He started driving karts, the first step in the craft of racing, learning from control to adapting to the race track for speed. He entered karting competitions, was skilled and started to attract attention from sponsors. Different local and national competitions, getting a few good wins under his belt.

His father was killed in a confrontation between the group and the police, which made Heath responsible for his younger siblings. Due to family connections, they found their way to NYC. Necessity made him join the criminal world for a quick way out, doing the unimaginable to guarantee their survival since they no longer had protection.

He built for himself a small group of criminals that he had met along the way, they lived in the shadows. Started with small thefts and riots, until they evolved into kidnapping, blackmailing, extortion - and murder. yes, they knew it would reach extreme measures as soon as attacks on government buildings and high ranking individuals started to happen. It was a common fact among the powerful, they always had the fire lit faster when someone was about to die. And he wanted that kind of attention.

As the years went by he could see the improvement, they were far from being rich but now they had their own small house and were comfortable for the first time. Decided to return to amateur kart competitions and attended different educational programs pursuing technical and mechanical backgrounds knowledge. Sponsorship and funding allowed him to get his full competition license, building a career.

After getting a FIA international grade A license, he began competing in the lower-tier series, getting the right kind of networking and catching the attention of team owners, opening doors to opportunities in high levels of F1.

Heath was superior to the majority. Amidst the clamor, the chaos, the endless hours of practice, he remained unbroken, untouched. His power hunger surpassed that of his peers, a relentless drive to go beyond, delve deeper, and endure farther. Erica was the only daughter and youngest child to achieved and decorated Gotham City doctor, Steven Martin Davis. One night, a hit and run killed the doctor, his wife, Sarah, and eldest and only son, Erica's older brother, Brady. Ten-year-old Erica’s body was never found; however, in actuality, she had survived the incident and was picked up by the Clown Prince of Crime himself, the Joker. Since then, Joker forced Erica to hide her identity by dyeing her hair, wearing a specially-engineered gas mask (made to filter out toxins, debris and unclean air, including Joker's own toxins) and the like. She went by the codename, Spades and became a bit of an anamoly in and around Gotham. This went on for five years until she gave her true identity to the second Robin, Jason Todd.

Jason and Erica became fast friends and would continously meet up at random locations. Jason even revealed his true identity to her and unmasked in front of her. Erica promised not to reveal this information to anyone, even Joker, and kept that promise well. Their friendship then continued, with Erica becoming increasingly attached to him. Unfortunately, it didn't save Jason from his fate at Joker’s hand at Ma-Gunn.

Erica disappeared a month after Jason was taken. Both of them were exposed and subjected to unfathomable tortures and horrors by Joker and some of his other accomplices and even his enemies. she began to secretly wear flapper dresses and went to speakeasies and danced at dance competitions.

One day her adoptive parents sent her to bording school to get rid of her since their young daugher was getting married and believed  that mabel will try to steal her adoptive sisters fiance. Mabel didnt care she was glad to move out. 

The then 16 year old  mabel met  The then  18 year old Roy Frederick Davis (( 1903 -1949))

  She began dating Roy to get away from her abusive adoptive family.

He was very manipulitive and controlling.    In high school Mabel was bullied a lot by many of the kids for working at the school to pay her tuition.

In 1924 Roy proposed to Mabel she had to say yes because she worried that no one would be interested in her except for roy.

In 1924 Mabel at age 18 met Henry  stein who was 16 years old at the time the two became smitten with each other over time and momths , Mabel fell in love with Henry even though she was engaged to Roy and Henry was Roy's rival and she was 2years older than him. she waited until  henry turned 18 to date him since that would be considered romantic relations with a minor.

Roy forbade mabel from seeing or speaking to henry and her friends But mabel  rebeled.

Their marriage was not a happy one Roy was violent with Mabel  he would beat her every time she said no or made a mistake or stand up for herself. Roy would go to speakeasies and come home drunk and irritated and he would attack her in a drunken rage.  He was also cheating on her and on many occasions he wouldn't be home until very late if at all. 

Mabel didnt know he was cheating on her and he would gaslit her by saying she was " out of her mind " or " paranoid " it wasnt until in 1925 she found out.

  roy also had a gambling addiction and he would loose a lot of cash and come home angry. 

In 1925 Mabel became pregnant with twins but they ended up as a miscarriage 

Which Roy blamed Mabel for. in 1925  Mabel got pregnant with a baby girl but it ended up a miscarriage which Roy became enraged.

on october 11th  of 1928 mabel got pregnant with her and henry's first born child 

roy was out with his mistress olive.

When Roy came home drunk and irritated  he demanded Mabel  to greet him,at this point Mabel snapped she screamed at him that he was drunk and that he needed to rest Roy laughed mockingly and he tried to kiss her but she slapped him across the face this enraged Roy he grabbed her by her neck and he began strangling her. Mabel  then kicked Roy In the crotch he let go of her and he fell to the ground. 

In 1929 after the stock market crash Roy got fired from his job as a factory worker and he came home from a speakeasy drunk and irritated at this point Mabel had had had enough of him.  She and Roy argued and it soon became physical and Roy grabbed Mabel by her hair and called Mabel a " stupid bitch of a wife!" and slapped her across the face before slamming her into a wall and then Mabel called Roy a."achoholic cheating gambling bastard"  to which he snapped. 

he began throwing glass plates at her and demanded that she clean it up at this point Mabel  snapped and screamed for him to pack his stuff and get out of her house to which he did and he stormed out of the house, with his things. 

In 1930 Mabel and Roy divorced. She was 24 years old at the time much to the frustration of her parents who tried to talk her out of divorcing roy since they were strongly against the idea of divorce.

That same year Mabel began working at Joey drew studios  As a screen writer.  Joey drew her boss was incredibly abusive towards her.  If Joey thinks that her work wasn't good enough or if she made a mistake he would slap her as hard as he could.
