I DO DRUGS. I HAVE DRUGS BEFORE BED SO I CAN SLEEP. I ALSO HAVE DRUGS WHEN I WAKE UP SO I CAN FUNCTION. THIS IS NOT A FLAW ITS POKING THE THINGS MESSING ME WITH A STICK SO THEY LEAVE ME ALONE FOR A BIT. I ENJOY SLEEPING AND NOT FAILING SCHOOL AND I HAVE DRUGS TO THANK FOR IT. GOOD DAY AND GOOD NIGHT I AM GOING TO TAKE MY DRUGS AND SLEEP
Sometimes I think we need to be reminded that mental health is an incredibly vast spectrum and there is no right way to have a mental illness esp if you have comorbid disorders
Asking lots of random people so don't feel preassured, but you got any sick people comfort food recommendations? As in the kind where swallowing hurts and coughing may or may not induce upset stomach and evacuation of its content. Anything you love yourself? Any specific soups? Or mashed potatoes or whatever.
i tend to make rice pudding! its kinda my comfort food when sick
also chicken soup/broth is miracle food. also gets fluids back into you. avoid caffeine and acidic foods bc of ur throat. when you can hold food, go for bananas or mashed veggies (or rice pudding!) as long as swallowing hurts, keep to soft or mashed food and try to gargle w saltwater
(my aunt put together several teas for me when sick and i honestly cant tell you what kinda herbs n stuff are in there. they help a lot tho)
i always sleep w a humidifier for my nose, if u have one use it. and drink enough water ! hope you get well soon
best dip you can make at home is three ingredients and it's sour cream (light or full fat, or non-dairy alternative), minced raw garlic, and chopped green onions. no salt no nothing you dont need it just mix and dip delicious delicious delicious
The Power of Garlic.Garlic isn't just a kitchen staple; it's a natural health booster! Rich in antioxidants and allicin, garlic can help lower blood pressure, improve heart health, and strengthen your immune system. Adding raw or cooked garlic to your diet can also help fight infections and reduce inflammation. A little clove goes a long way.
Ok but if you think about it anti self diagnosis stuff is so stupid sometimes
'Hey I have self dxed autism'
'You do not have autism bc a medical professional has not approved this and therefore you are not autistic'
Imagine if you applied that to smth like cancer and then that person later died of cancer. Hey if its not diagnosed then its not real and cant affect you so everyone who died of smth that they didnt get diagnosed obviously did not have that
I feel we should learn that support doesnt have to mean befriend and be best of buds with ppl, it can just mean letting them exist and not doing anything that actively makes their life worse
Bc many times when I see 'I support you' it means 'I acknowledge and am chill with your existence', but if it comes to stuff thats 'I support you IF' then it suddenly becomes 'I will only want to interact and help you if you fit the conditions Ive laid out' and I think we should all go back to the first one
You do not need to interact with the ppl you dont want to interact with, but you still should accept these ppl exist and not get all pissy about it lol
