Long ass rant

SOME Hellenistic polytheists need to STOP brown-nosing other practices while contradicting their own rules 😭

I need to rant about something that's been getting on my nerves lately. It's when young hellpols (shortened word for hellenic polytheists) try to force their religious beliefs onto others and demonize Luciferian practices because they go against their beliefs. I don't mean any harm to hellpols, but I saw someone say that no religion or spiritual cult should offer blood because it's miasma. And I'm like, bro, not all religions think that way, OR EVEN BELIEVE IN SPIRITUAL DIRT. It's not just infernal entities that accept blood offerings, and it's stupid to hate on other practices just because they don't fit your beliefs. I had my doubts about this person, but I gave them a chance in this discussion. I shared my perspective as a Luciferian Pagan, explaining that blood is a key part of my practice, and their response was just ridiculous. They said that a bond with a god should be based on trust and respect, not blood offerings, and that other practices are dirty and wrong for it. It's unbelievably judgmental and narrow-minded, and it's not just about blood offerings.. It's just insane to impose their beliefs on others and label others practice as 'miasma.' It's beyond frustrating how some people within different pagan communities can be so stubborn and ignorant. They need to take a step back and reflect on the harm they cause by imposing their beliefs on others. Not only does their behavior mirror several religions many pagans left from, but they also have the audacity to dismiss the practices of several Luciferian Pagans because they are "wrong" and "spiritually dirty" is disgusting behaviour.

✦ ῾ things i’ve manifested this past month! ( late jan - now )

a gold, and a good judge at solo & ensemble! basically if you don’t know what s&e is, it’s where band / orchestra students ( choir students also do it but it’s a week before band does it ) choose to be apart of an ensemble or do a solo and get judged bronze, sliver, and gold based off of their performance. i’m apart of an ensemble and we were gonna get gold either way, im just a paranoid gal and there’s a ton of places in the piece where we have problems in. we are now going to state in march so!!

money! listen i may not have a job and be a broke bitch but that doesn’t mean that manifesting does not work. a week after i manifested this i checked my bank account and saw i got a money transfer 🤞🏼

good grades! i have C’s right now in my core classes and all the classes that i’ve wanted to get up to a B got up to a B, so i just need my semester grade to average out

no school! we got like 2 inches of snow but ended up getting 3 days off. i manifested that i wouldn’t have school thursday 🫶🏼

Hey Jessie! So, I'm a beginner HellPol, but I'm still having difficulty with telling when smth is my own thoughts or consciousness, and when it's one of the gods trying to communicate smth to me. Any advice?

Hello, love! Something I really need beginners to understand is that communication especially is not an overnight thing. I only just recently got the hang of telling the difference between my thoughts and messages from the gods and being able to access the "godphone" and i've been a worshiper for 7 years. It takes time.

Think of it like learning to play an instrument. You're not going to hear a beginner pianist be like "I'm a beginner but i still cant play Beethoven or Mozart" because its obvious a beginner isn't going to be able to play advance stuff, you know? Yet so many beginners in our community are expecting to be able to do everything right away and not giving themselves the time to develop these skills.

So thats my big piece of advice. Acknowledge and accept that this is a SKILL that takes time and requires practice. Especially with distinguishing what is a message and what is a thought. Honestly that comes with time and experience because you need to learn how the gods communicate with you, what they feel like, what their personalities are like, what they're likely to say to you and how they're going to react. Thats not something that just happens you know? It grows along with the relationship.

re: @samihazah hellpol but it's not based on actual politics it's based on my brain: crowley giving sam the colt in exchange for sam's explicit permission for him to take the mantle of king when lucifer's out of the picture. he explains that sam was azazel's chosen heir, literally bred for the throne, and he killed lilith to boot. sam finally agrees under the understanding that no one is capable of lying while negotiating a soul contract or it becomes void on their end-- demons only ever screw you over by lying through omission-- so this leads to a very long and tense and boring as fuck conversation where they go over every damn clause.
