Alastor was always your night in shining armour when it came to bugs. Angel struggled to form a word between breaths of air. “Let me guess. Y/n got bit by a spider and you’re automatically gunning for me?” He got up, hand on his knee to help him.

* Nightmare could sense a lot of negativity in his office one day. He goes to the kitchen to see everyone peeping in from the doorway. They all jump noticing him but pointed out to you: their main cause of worry. There you sat with no trace of your usual attire or energy to match it. In fact your energy matched your current look: tired and gloomy. A complete reverse.

* You refused to tell anyone what happened. It made you feel a bit bad when they tried cheering you up. Killer tried his usual jokes, Horror with his cooking, Dust with his worried stare, even Error was willing to give up some of his precious chocolate to cheer you up. Unfortunately you just didn’t feel up to it. So they go to their last hope: Nightmare.

* Obviously he didn’t want to get involved and was enjoying the negativity but even his team knew he was concerned for your well-being as well. So he manages to talk to you and you finally admit that someone had insulted the way you acted and dressed and now you didn’t feel comfortable. It was obvious that you still wanted to but whatever that person said to you, it really upset you.

* Yo….tell me how everyone just dresses you up in your usual outfit. And they all hang around you suggesting all of you would take a small walk together. The absolute FEAR in their eyes when the murder trio circled in on them. the first sketch is so funny to me i put all my energy into sam and then went eh fuck dat for the other two AHAHAHAHA im sorry i swear i have better sketches of vitor and uri im too lazy to pull them out

initially i wanted the soldier poet king themeing hence the arrangement (sam soldier, vitor poet, uri king), n u can see here that uri was supposed to have a blood splatter crown for the 'king' part but it wasnt coming out right.. i really had 0 idea what to do w her background until i Had to do it. it was just all trial n error and i was working until 4am so brother were there Errors. but i think it came out nice in the end! and while drawing i realized uri's themed after the king of diamonds/hearts so it looped back into the king themeing luckily AHAAHHAA

speaking of uri's bg tho, one random detail i like that somehow made it better for me was this streak at the back which could be interpreted as a river of blood OR smoke from a gun. cool fun stuff

i also wanted to do a thing w the composition where its like.. this is so scuffed but this. just so their poses didnt look completely random? sam n uri have one arm folded and the other doing whatever, while both of vitor's arms are folded. so it kinda has some sense of cohesion

and the border! i am a big fan. i took a lot of inspo from the tarot card series ive yet to continue. here's a wip image of it from april though. u can see the similarities of it w the one here!

THE top is the symbol i use for twp, which is a butterfly with eyes and the morse code for SOS. its encased in whats supposed to be the portal w 7 tentacles coming out of it to represent eri's 7 fragments!

as for the side border, its supposed to be quiro, lanluy, burmelio, then kh'elle, which is the order of the kingdoms the spinoff party visits in their adventure!!!! u can also see the morse code repeated :3

lastly their body language! sam is closed off, quite literally shielding their heart w their sword. they both look ready to strike but defend too.

vitor is juggling but i also wanted it to look like he's shrugging! to represent his kinda go with the flow attitude, but also how his arc has themes of being left in the dark bc my ouppy is a . fucking. dumbass

u can also see above that at first uri's pose had her holding the book closer to her but it made for a bad silhouette.. and it felt more ic to me to have her have a more open pose? bc she's eager to learn and spunky and confident!

A lonely old person who would die all alone that no one would come even if he died. Much better for him if he was DEAD already. But he couldn't do that either.

Squich came around, she was far off like how childish Spongebob would act. And sometimes she's just like how Squidward acts from time to time, but she's not that mean like him.

Got down to his knees and cried. He didn't know what he was even doing. He didn't know why he ended up like this. Day by day, penny from penny, bills, bills, loans, bills again, some payments...

"Someone... once told me... 'crying is for the weak' I don't cry in order to not break my Father's rule. And especially even if how weak I am right now, I come to pretend that I was some strong and brave person even if I'm not."

She slowly sat to the ground, thinking about those darkest days of her life. Gave her a headache just by looking back at it.

"We can relate Squidward, but we're not the same. We can relate to saddest things, darkest past. But they aren't all the same. I changed for the better, because I moved it all. They were all in the past, it may be stuck on your head for that but you had to fight it, ignore them. And think about the bright side of life. Because that's what we're worth of fighting for, worth of surviving for."

"If those darkest memories you have doesn't stop, they really matter. It doesn't mean that if you're a loser then you'll continue to down grade yourself and say that you really 'are' a loser and continuously you'll keep on repeating whatever negative things people say to you then turn out to be the bad and meanest person you are. Then you aren't changing, you're suffering even more."

Squidward also leaned his head from the wall right beside Squich hearing her talk.

"If someone says- you suck. Do you want to believe that you ACTUALLY suck? Suck on something? Talentless? Loser? A nobody? No. No one has the right to intrude to how your brain is interacting with those bad thoughts and process to your heart to cry it all about it. Even if you kept it there for too long. It's not right. If it's pointless to them then SCREW those people."

"You Squidward Tentacles, are a talent and have lack of passion between arts and music. You have your own purpose. And a life. And no one can just say those meanest words for you to think bad stuff. Because once you did, you can never get it out. But you can if you could atleast try. Like how Spongebob did to his own."

"You can't assume someone who seems to live all happy and doesn't care at all- doesn't have these bad things. Some also happen to have this- even for him. For you as well. But you know how Spongebob did it? He bloomed. He changed. He decided to ignore those words away as if like they were just bugs. Like how I did it. Squich gets up on her feet, looking down at Squidward once again to lend him a tentacle.

"So I'm asking you this once again- are you gonna let this remain or are you gonna fight it? Because no one atleast you, deserve to deal with it."

His eyes were now staring at Squich's tentacle, he had no idea how Squich had manage to talk atleast all of these things- these feelings- Squidward had dealt with- and just- made him rethink again.

For those words to turn out to be letters all scrambled up from his head like it meant nothing at all.

Spongebob had dealt with it from the past, he faced it back whenever their boss took the spotlight of reminding him he was simple.

And he didn't care about those words after Eugene said that. After the town was saved all again by the poriferan himself with his team.

Squich was empathetic, much to Squidward's greatfulness to have her understand.

"No, I won't think much about it and start looking for the bright side as long as it makes me feel great." He caught her tentacle and gets up from the ground.

"Good, as much as I could tell- Spongebob is probably-" from a distance there was Spongebob waving at her and Squidward.

"Yep he's right there-" "Squich thank you... for speaking out loud... I was... kind of a jerk-" "don't say that to yourself- it was completely your big assumption between of how good a persons life is remains all good with no problems to deal with. Besides from all of that- you don't need to feel sorry for yourself about it."

Squidward wiped his tears before Spongebob could see him close. "Squich! Squidward! I knew it was you two! I could recognice you guys almost clearly far away- anyway- what's up? Why does it look like Squidward was crying?" "No I wasn't crying!" The cephalopod defended himself.

"But it looked like you were... you know what? Nevermind- maybe I was delusional- ahem- I wanted to ask if it's okay for me to invite you two for a 'hang out' this weekend?" Squich looked at Spongebob with a smile, eyeing to her side. Squidward was definitely staring at Spongebob. She could tell.

"Not me- I'm sure Squidward could if he wants to! I have upcoming commissions to finish and especially those hardest details-" a buzz on her phone caught their attention.

She pulled it out to read the front screen that it was from her sister. "Oops- that's my que- gotta go!" Squich purposely pushed Squidward to take the hand of answering his question and leaves.

While running towards the location to her house, she smiled. How lovely the day was, how nice it is outside, more happy she could ever be to know that someday Squidward would change into a better person because someone right there who is mostly right next to him keeps them away.

It's not too late to change. Especially to other people.

Change isn't something to mention about-

Before becoming Agent 3 and eventually the leader of the NSS she lived in a rural suburb on the outskirts of Inkopolis with her parents and two older brothers. Upon deciding to move to the city to pursue her interests in an education and ink battles, she was not ready for city life at all. It took her a good while to adjust, with the Squid Sisters helping her do so after they met. Though she still has school and work outside of the NSS she's extremely committed to the group; despite this she was still hesitant to be leader when Cuttlefish offered, insisting she wasn't a good leader (and she still isn't). However, her determination to do well for the group has worked out for both her and everyone else.

Azure's personality is best described as wild, yet very relaxed. She gets excited easily but is very go-with-the-flow most of the time. Despite this she's reclusive, and isn't comfortable talking with new people; though she's very talkative with her close friends and family. Besides the Squid Sisters (who are basically her older sisters) she's closest with Mist, having been dating for roughly 5 years now.

She let Mist move in with her after the events of Octo Expansion, and now they're inseparable (oh my god they were roommates)

Koa's a bit of a wild case. His family moved to Inkopolis from another country just before he was born, but he still shares the accents they all have. Being raised alongside 4 rowdy boys and an equally rowdy single dad (who's another oc I have), he's VERY loud and very, very energetic. he gets wound up very easily and will start yelling over the smallest things. Prior to meeting the NSS he didn't smile a lot and would actively try not to due to the environment he was raised in; as a kid he'd get teased by his brothers and dad if he got overly excited about things. Though they were only playing with him he didn't take it that way when he was young, and it stayed with him. No need to fear!-The NSS has helped him open up immensely.

Random facts:

Doesn't do much outside of the NSS besides go to school, but he does have several hobbies.

Plays the drums. Mist's little sister plays the guitar, and they hang out frequently and jam together.

Speaking of fighting, he wrestled with his brothers growing up and it's now something he likes to do for fun.

[I'm still working on revising Mist's lore, so take her backstory with a grain of salt.]

Ah, yes, the tragic backstory character. Mist and her little sister, Jett, lived a rather okay life as Octarians-well, as good as it gets being underground, anyway. Mist was raised to be an engineer and Jett a construction worker for stages and weapons. Around the events of Splatoon 1 Mist's mother contracted a disease and wasn't able to survive it. Making matters worse was the death of her father a few months later, from broken heart syndrome. Mist was left to raise her sister as well as deal with the very obvious emotional trauma the deaths left on both her and Jett. Not long after that was Mist affected by the Calamari Inkantation, leaving her to question Octarian society and how it ran. Eventually she left for Inkopolis, seeking a better life; thus, Octo Expansion occurs. However, the memories of her parent's passing and leaving her sister wouldn't resurface until much, much later.

Mist learned Inkling shockingly quick and is now fully fluent, aside from the occasional grammar error. As mentioned earlier, she lived with Azure after Octo Expansion and fell in love, and now the two hate to be apart during the events of Splatoon 3.

She’s easily the kindest out of the entire group and a strong optimist, sometimes to the point where it’s annoying. Mist believes everyone deserves kindness and she loves to help others in any way she can. Despite this, when people push her boundaries she’ll fight back in the most reserved, collective way possible. She doesn’t give bullshit and she won’t take any, either.

She doesn't like working with machinery anymore, but she works for Sheldon repairing weapons to help pay rent and groceries. it's helping her cope, fortunately!

Drip was raised by salmonids after a mix-up between the Octarians and Salmonids occured and an infant octoling ended up with them. Fortunately, salmonids are very intelligent (much to the disbelief of many), and raised drip close to inkling society so drip could get a taste of where drip’s supposed to live. After growing up and deciding to live in Splatsvill, drip took on the profession of a graffiti artist to help make the city look more vibrant, sometimes illegally (but that's part of the fun for drip).

Xey're feral. Quite literally. Being raised by violence-loving salmonids will do that to you. Xey're far from uncivilized, though , so xey're feral in the classiest way possible. It's not uncommon to see xem doing something "weird" in the most calm and collected manner possible (like eating Alterna snow, eating grass, casually carrying things in xeir mouth). Xey’re also a fashionista and cares a lot about staying fresh and on top of things, but enjoys having fun when the time calls for it. Xey’re more serious than the other agents, but xey're learning to take it slow, thanks to them.

They have an unnatural love for ink battles compared to the other agents as well. They can get insanely heated during battles and they care a lot about their rank. They won't admit it, but it's because they were taught to love battle, being essentially a kid to salmonids.

Random facts:

Because salmonids honor dying, they love getting splatted in ink battles. It's a rush for them.

Visits their salmonid guardians frequently! They had a shack above water where they raised them. They haven't died in battle yet and Sting teases them about it

Sting's full name is The Stinging Rain Shower Born in Octopia.

Banned from Grizzco. Drip tried to steal power eggs and golden eggs from the place and was very, very quickly banned. Drip would boycott it even if drip wasn't, though.

if u can find patterns online to use they will be ur best friend, winging it CAN work but. not always DSGKJ

so there would be a lot to cover but im just gonna gonna start with the tentacles- mine are made from minky but i know ppl who've used like, a more vinyl-ish material? do NOT fucking use satin, i made that mistake with my original agent 3 cosplay and i nearly smashed my sewing machine out of pure rage. satin + minky is SO slippery and no matter what u do the pattern will just, Fuck Up. its why the tentacles were shaped so weirdly :/ so this time i stuck to ONLY minky and the result was way better. i had a friend help with hand sewing em and it meant more control over how the shape turns out so it was way better than my first attempt. (i then used plushie stuffing to give em shape and it makes em sooo fucking squishy n soft)

I FORGOT TO MENTION. the tentacles are safety pinned to the inside of the hat for stability, im not wearing a wig or anything.

eye mask? use eyeliner or body paint! ive done both and they both work well, id recommend using a setting spray tho. and if ur gonna wear contacts like i did, ALWAYS put contacts in before any makeup. this avoids the risk of getting shit in ur eye while putting em in (also my eyes always water a fucktonne lmao) oh and if u use a blind contact, be prepared to have fucky vision whenever ur in cosplay. agent 3 cosplayers stay suffering 💔

if ur gonna hand sew anything, definitely try to use proper techniques. luckily my gf is very good at that kinda stuff and they helped me through sewing the poncho/cape/idk fuckin old rags, i used a whip stitch so the threading isnt visible (im thinking of modifying it to add big thick cosmetic stitches so it looks more game-accurate, same with the patch on the hat)

craft stores are ur best friend for supplies! if ur australian, i highly recommend spotlight and lincraft for pretty much everything. spotlight usually has the most variety in fabric, but i always need to order my minky online. if ur not an aussie, prolly just google which places to go to DSGJ idk what yall have.

but heres my number 1 tip for cosplay- HAVE FUN! i know this sounds cliche but seriously. i sometimes to caught up in my head over little things, like "this isnt game accurate enough" "the colours are off" "people are gonna notice (X)" but cosplay is supposed to be fun, silly, crafting experience, a hobby, but most of all ur just dressing up as a fictional character and what could possibly be dorkier than that? feel free to do things differently, u never need to adhere to canon (i literally did the hijack scar AND i have a face full of metal), being accurate is NOT the most important thing, and of course- body type, gender, skin colour, NONE of these things should stop u from doing whatever the hell u want. the naysayers can go fuck themselves <3

and if u dont have the budget to buy good supplies, theres nothing wrong with a closet cosplay! work with whatever ya got!

okay okay i love talking about dnd - dnd anon back again

just general fyi, there's multiple editions for dnd. new monsters get added over the course of them, some stats change, game mechanics get reworked ect. we're on E5 right now. the party in ST would be playing with E1 which came out in the early 80s (E2 came out in the late 80s and is definitely relevant to anything S4 and onwards). i know most of the original 80s stats, but just mentioning here that some numbers went up or down a few digits over the years

okay and now breaking this down:

in dnd you have CRs (= Challenge Ratings) which are a number between 0 and 30. those give you an idea of the general strength of an enemy, the higher the stronger. that's generally how you as a DM decide what to throw at your party since you don't want to give and absolute BeastTM to you Lvl. 1 party (CRs also aren't always 100% reliable since DMs can tweak stats slightly to fit their parties better, but CRs DO give you a pretty solid idea of how fucked you're going to be on average going into an encounter)

and long story short, a Mindflayers CR is 7. Vecna's is 26. and yeah that'd basically already be enough said, one of these is Not like the other. Tldr: Vecna is an absolute Unit and wins this competition every time

but now also, more in depth:

first more stats: CR only give you the General difficulty of an enemy. you also have AC (Armour Class) and HP for every enemy for example:

AC -> MF: 15, V: 18

HP -> MF: 71 (potentially up to +13 with additional roles when creating the enemy), V: 272 (with a roll up to +128)

Vecna, again, unsurprisingly given the CR, wins everything here BY FAR. but besides stats, the actual game lore is also interesting:

for one, i said A Mindflayer intentionally because there's actually multiple. it's not a unique enemy type (it's still rare though). they're also called Illithids and are actually much more human looking than on the show -> a bit of a wizard type - also much more human sized than the one in ST. their faces are very much spider tentacles tho so I'm guessing that's from where we got the visuals for our favorite Big Guy. (also, fun fact: Illithids/ Mindflayers tend to show up in combat with a handful of followers they're mindcontrolling, very similar to the plot of s3 actually, just think that's neat :D)

and then there's VECNA. THE Vecna. the ONE and only (ha). totally unique. actually, as of E1 Vecna wasn't even a fightable enemy with stats yet. he was only Referenced in the monster manual (where all the dnd enemy lore at the time came from) + his eye (or arm actually? sorry not sure which one it actually was) were super strong items you could find. but no Vecna in the flesh yet - he was just this elusive evil in the background. only in E2 did Vecna actually get a stats sheet and was something you could actually try and fight. and Vecna is Big in dnd, a bit of a staple figure actually - especially in E2 at the time. Mindflayers may be more of an enemy class than a given "name" for one specific person/monster. but oh boy did Vecna sure make a name for himself alone. multiple names actually, that's the guy people call "the Arch Lich" and "the Undying King" to name a few, if there's One wizard you're going to be sweating to fight in late 80s dnd it's THIS guy. Hard as Hell to beat! and a dnd icon on top of it!

and even the fighting in itself is going to be an absolute Bitch, so here a general idea of how combat works:

aside from attacking, you constantly roll saving throws. that's how you avoid dying/ taking damage/ suffering negative effects like poison or burning etc. the saving throws are all in a specific attribute so Intelligence or Wisdom for example. you roll with a D20 and need to get something higher than a certain predetermined number to actually get the save and avoid whatever made you roll for the save in the first place. depending on the stat you're rolling in, the numbers for the MFs are basically all between 6-7. but for VECNA they're all between 12-15.

the combat system in E1 and E2 is slightly different than today and i'm not Totally in tune with it, so i'm not Completely sure if/how saving throws might have worked a bit different back then,

but the HIGH requirement for saves (consistently rolling over 12-15 with a D20 is Fucked btw) is also why we see the game in S4 go down the way it does. the entire group makes it to the final boss alright but then starts falling like flies. because you'd have to consistently roll REALLY high to keep hitting saves and not chip your health down slowly or get CRIT'ed in one go. and even if you're lucky with rolls, the longer the combat goes on the more likely you are to start missing saves and either die from a direct hit or get a negative effect that kills you over time. which is why we see the entire party go down alongside Mike during Eddie's game, except for Dustin and Erica who are both still 1 hit from death.

even the parts of the game sequence we actually get SEE on screen in s4 show us this directly, when we see Mike going first in the combat order and look upset immediately when he presumably fails his first save right away (unlucky) -> i've seen people confused why Mike looks upset but an Enemy figure gets knocked down on the board instead of his paladin. this is why as far as i can tell here. he might have still won against whatever he was fighting but took massive damage or got a passive negative effect from failing his first save. he zero'd out later at some point, since only Erica and Dustin are left by the end, but i probably wasn't Directly after the first hit he took (even though it could obviously be Because of that hit, since it might've been a passive effect which can kill you with a few rounds delay)

so Yupp, that's the general breakdown here! so tldr Again: if you had the choice between facing the Mindflayer or Vecna on the condition that everybody sticks to dnd rules you do NOT go for Vecna. Ever. that guy is Horrible to beat. literally the chance of fucking up like Mike here and missing your FIRST save right off the bat is 60-75%, that's BAD, that can KILL you

It's a very modded Minecraft series with all kinds of new stuff, i think there's like over 80 mods atleast?? The mod was made specifically for thier series and the developer keeps adding new mods to it but it's quite easy to catch up.

If you want to watch it (Wich i greatly encourage you to do its quite underrated) Some good and interesting povs are:

SSundee, if you want to watch the overpowered villain that is getting manipulated by the evil tentacle creature

Henwy, who's kinda like jimmy a little bullied, constantly working on things like his castle, dragons, cool armour and weapons

Sigils, the mad scientist of the group. Kinda like doc but less uncle energy and modded machines instead. He even automated a thing to get infinite infinity stones (yes infinity gauntlet is a thing in insane craft)

Biffle, the one who doesn't have the slightest idea of what's going on, but still tries his best to be the most powerful one (I'm pretty sure he's second place in "who's the most powerful")

I would also recommend Nicovald but he quit, so others are Frostdaye (i think..?) And the other admins. But i barely see them so i can't remember their channels

Mhm that was a long long list that you might not even do anything with but that doesn't matter cause i like rambling about insane craft :D it is also seen as season two of crazy craft and sky factory, which had the same people but different mods!

Not much has been happening on my end- I have been working on my study plan for uni for this trimester as we start next week :D & omgs it is gonna be so easy. The only iffy subject is going to psychology, but only just slightly- >:3 My results for last trimester has been rolling in too!! Last night myself & my irl-friends to be were on call so I wasn’t able to reply to this ask but we have a tonne of fun! I haven’t done art in a long time, but after reading @llamagoddessofficial​ new fiction Tilikum I wanted to give a go at drawing this scene! Colouring is super hard and I am no master at it, I feel like I made this too dark, plus I may have made Skull too big? Ahh I don’t know!
