Stop wishing for your dream body and start creating it! Don’t get me wrong - I love the power of positivity (one of my favourite listens is Paul McKenna’s Positivity Podcast) … but I think there’s a dangerous trend right now of believing that we can get whatever we want by simply asking the universe for it and then sitting back and waiting for it to deliver. And this might be an unpopular opinion, but … 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. If you want to be a morning person you need to set your alarm earlier and start getting up. If you want to be healthier you need to stop filling up on fast food and take outs and start focusing on incorporating more fresh fruit and veggies. And if you want to carve the body of your dreams you need to move your body. I waited so long for the body of my dreams and only when I invested in myself by getting a coach and educating myself by reading specific journals based around my goals (no more butt tastic YouTube videos 🙄 £ did I start to see it coming through. Hey friends! I know I’ve been posting a lot about kickboxing lately ahahas I just had a lot of fun and got a lot of good footage 🙈😅🤷🏻♂️ Tbh I’ve been needing to get more active so this plus the 5k runwalk I did have been good + fun steps towards that ^-^ . The 5k was def waaay more of a stretch tho ahahas my legs were ded for a week 😂 but the kickboxing actually wasn’t too bad! I was sore for the next day or two but that was it :) Also - kickboxing was more fun LOL I was just running alone in silence during the 5k cuz I didn’t bring earbuds (cuz I thought I was gonna be jogging side by side with friends ;-;) . If you live in/near OC and want to try it out, you should def check out @ilkb_yorbalinda 💪🥊💪 You can go to their website in their bio and purchase a three class trial and get a one on one session on your first day :O 👍👍👍 I’m pretty sure their membership starts at $120 a month, which seems pretty reasonable :D . If you’ve been needing to get healthy or more fit, you should really give it a shot. If you do what you have been doing, you’re only gonna get the same results ya know 🤷🏻♂️ I gotta stop making excuses for myself too xD . Yes, our instructor was pregnant :O What a BOSS ahahahas even while carrying a whole human baby in her, she had way more endurance and energy than the rest of us 😂😅 I guess that just goes to show that kickboxing/training yields very concrete results xD . As tiring as it was (and I didn’t even participate the whole time cuz I was filming), the class was SUPER fun! Our instructor slowed down the pace a bit for us because none of us had boxing experience and really helped us learn the right form 👍💪 Now I know how to punch right xD . If you wanna try this out, you should def reach out to @ilkb_yorbalinda - their instructors are super nice and knowledgeable :) I think they also run promotions from time to time so def follow their IG to keep up with that stuff :D . I lowkey still can’t believe how much our trainer Voula had (I mean, isn’t pregnancy normally something people use as an excuse to potato at home?) ALSO HOW COOL IS HER NAME?! .
