Hugos design i just wanted to put him in something more Loose. hes a thief, a professional escape artist. i dont think wearing clunky metal is ideal for him. i also gave him a prosthetic arm (blond w no arm design trope!) but u cant see it in the ref so i added another drawing of him in his under layering👍 i vaguely referenced russian(?) clothes for him as well... yong came relatively easy to me, if it wasn't obvious i did rip gaming from g*nshin's hoodie. i thought the lion hood was Adorable and freaking perfect for what i had in mind for hos character. since the og notes said the fire kingdom is loosely Chinese inspired i basically just kept that. i mashed tgt a buncha diff dynasties though sorry for how inconsistent i was... i think he looks Okay. anyways i changed yongs role a bit, ill explain why im adjusting some of their roles later but i kept yong as the Jinx Type character. hes the eldest in his family and has a buncha younger siblings, hes a lion dancer and does performances w his family/siblings. he rly like special effects n keeps tryna incorporate his fireworks into their performances (it flops and he has to sew up the dmg) ill explain more of yongs role in another post maybe shrugs... miss nuru was a bit of a struggle for me i might share my full design process with her coz i did a Bunch of mockups for her😭😭😭... i didnt have a specific country of reference for her but i chose to make her vaguely south asian inspired. i also really wanted to keep the sheer fabric w the star / constellation map. i love that idea its so cute so shes still technically the navigator. but she also wields a sword too, fencing or whatever. Comforting Mike Schmidt

Mike had the day off which meant he was going to sleep in, like he usually does on his off days. Abby was at school, which meant you were up already. You decide to make pancakes to surprise Mike before he woke up.

After that you made him some lunch to eat. You just put some pizza in the oven and waited for it to cook. You guys ate when it was done cooking. The rest of the day you guys were cuddled up on the couch. Mike ended up falling asleep.

Can u give me ur full thoughts on Alex? I feel like a lot of the shit he gets is unjustified. Yeah he says some sus things to the farmer (no matter what gender you are!) but that's only because he's horribly mislead. The man just doesn't know any better. I mean think about it. Abused and neglected, lacking good male role models, and he's got no friends in town except for maybe Haley and you know how she is. If she was told "you're probably not into sports" she'd say "ew no" because sports would get her all dirty.

I always saw him as just a loner-type guy who doesn't know how to talk to people. Spent too much time trying to develop his cringe ass macho man persona that he forgot to develop social skills. I don't think that makes him a bad person though. I could honestly talk for hours about how toxic masculinity is a monster that preys on young boys and eats them alive if they're not careful. But even with societal pressure being so intense, growth is possible. Alex is still a massive sweetie in my eyes. A big dumb doofus who loves his granny and wants to lift heavy things just to impress you.

If you grow up in a similar environment to most guys, you can understand why Alex is the way they are. It's not exactly easy to be soft or mindful when you have a harsh environment around you. Many guys end up coping with repressed thoughts and feelings in unique ways to soothe themselves. I think Alex's was sports. (Idk just a hunch) but it often leads to a lot of blind spots or misunderstandings of the world.

I've seen a lot of people like Alex and I've had a couple of friends in high school like that too! And I can tell you... yeah... it comes from SOMEWHERE, A lot of them ain't doing so great mentally.

Heck, I do that! Whenever I get uncomfortable with a situation or feelings I don't like, I make jokes to ease my brain. Releses a little serotonin ya know what I mean?

Not all coping mechanisms are bad tho, we kinda have our own form of bond and support that from the outside looks cold and uninviting but I promise you, we would die for our brothers. (plus the cold uninviting part is just a front)

From my perspective anyway, I think a Fem farmer shows Alex a better example of women and what they can do VS grandma, dead mom, and Haley... along with learning boundaries and how better cope with repressed feelings and MAYBE-

-even address the fear of the farmer DYING of a sickness just like his mom or the intrusive thoughts of believing he'll end up like his father making him overprotective and paranoid about the farmers well being...

Like whaaat... WHAAAT.... I'm sorry he served here he had the BEST design idc idc you can't change my mind. These were NOT bad designs. I've got a slight preference to his oldest design but even then the pilot design was great to me.

OooOOOH MY GODDDDD THEY NEUTERED HIM!!?! NO tits, three measly ugly stripes on an uglier coat, LONG GLOVES THAT ARE MISMATCHED??? ONE OF THEM HAS THESE WEIRD... WHITE FLAPS?? WHO— WHAT. WHY. AND THEY GO OVER HIS LONG SLEEVES 😭😭😭

I'm sorry but Angel will always be the most egregious case of character assassination in this show, design and character wise. He sucks now and I used to love him.

So yeah show Angel sucks. Removing his chunky gloves removed a lot of the fun shape in his silhouette so now he's just a gangly twink. Very little visual interest. Also hate hate hate how his new mismatched gloves are pulled over his long sleeve coat. So dumb. Hate it.

Also explain to me how he's gradually gotten less tits but has simultaneously become more femboy-ified..... So many people immediately mistake him for a girl.......

They also mistake him for. Literally anything but a spider. Once again Viv can't code or theme characters for shit. I also don't like how his face changed... I can't describe it but It's so much less appealing and charming. Something in the eyes and his little cheek bump. Idk. Really hate show Angel props to the animators for making him watchable with his bold animation ts was real nice

Okay onto my Angel! He's now a goldenrod crab spider now! Thank you @/cryptablog for this idea!! (Not tagging them bc they hate the hellaverse with a burning passion lol 💀) They can be white with pinkish markings like our og Angel but most of them are tinted yellow or completely yellow!

I decided to make him most similar to that mid ground mix of yellow and white with pink-er markings. 1 because I kept lust pink and I feel like that'd be a prominent sin of his (+ purple is in here a lot bc I feel like he'd also be pride aligned! Purple is now the pride color :3) and 2 because the yellow tone in his fur is kinda meant to connect him to Husk in a way... Cuz that's kinda his main color... Idk maybe I'm onto nothing with that one BUT his primary color is purple and Husk's primary color is yellow(ish)! Complimentary boyfriend's!!! Are you seeing my vision!!!!! (Also on a lesser note his colors look more similar to my fav version of Angel aka his design from the pre-pilot ref sheet I showed)

Another idea you can thank Cryptamen for is him being partially translucent in places just like real goldenrods!!!! The idea behind that was because he was in the mafia in life and he had to be really stealthy at times so now in certain environments he's harder to see... Maybe he can even turn fully invisible for a bit... There's also possible character reasons to consider tying in there as well... Ough very cool idea 10/10

Gave him 4 legs and 4 arms + the big abdomen to really make him scream spider bc yes spider boys can be hot and no Viv was not willing to CAPITALIZE on that 😒 Also lengthened his fangs... Also moved his eyes to his forehead to make them more prominent and hopefullyyyy seem more like eyes. Idk. And now he's got pointy little pedipalps as well!!!

Gave him his boobs back bc he deserves them and just generally gave his body more shape (though the second set of legs definitely helps lol). Slightly de-twinked... But not by much...

Once again looked up some common hairstyles at the time and people loooved their hairspray and curls, or swoops, or waves— they were gettin funky with it. Hard to emulate that on his nonhuman skull so I took some artistic liberties applying ideas from common styles onto him.

Okay so do y’all rmb that 6ft tall guy I was talking to & said I MIGHT be in love w? AAAAAAAAA its been a while since ive had any thought about kickinchicken, and sadly, ive gotten over him now😭 (a long time ago, actually) But i know u guys love him sm more than i do so I'll give him some thoughts. KickinChicken x Fem!Reader headcanons!

Cartoon version:

[Imagine: Reader is any animal you like. The Smiling Critters is a show and all the times you are living is when a child is watching you on-screen]

Kickin often ruffles/pats reader's fur/feathers/head whenever the reader successfully did something

Kickin instinctively goes to the reader's side whenever the critters are preparing to [inhale catnap's bad breathe] sleep

The reader is sometimes the storyteller of the group during sleepovers. Kickin lays on his stomach, rests his chin on both of his palms and watches you read with dreamy eyes

Kickin is prolly the most flirty and pun enjoyer of the group. If someone actually had a counter against his flirt, he would be flabbergasted. You did this more than thrice in the show (dw, these are all child-friendly flirts)

Catnap sometimes fights you whenever you want to tell a story while Catnap wants to make the othe critters sleep. Kickin cheers at you and says "Fight! Fight! Fight! Go y/n, go!" Which makes the situation worse (he receives numerous bombastic side eyes) Dogday and Hoppy interrupts tho

You and kickin are the most sarcastic couple duo of the group. He makes you laugh, you make him laugh, "Ew. You guys are making us cringe" says hoppy. Others nodded in agreement.

Dogday is your best man and woman in a wedding episode "Wait, when did that hap--" (pickypiggy)

His blanket is (your favorite color x color and pendant shape) while yours is yellow with red star pattern

He likes to show off along with his "shades of coolness" that he brings out magically from his 'pocket'. (Typical cartoon character) You match him with your own (favorite shape) shades

Kickin once asked a commission for Crafty to draw you and him together under a tree. The unicorn bought new crayons with over 100 after that

Bigger Bodies version:

[Imagine: reader is the player. Depends on you whether the player/reader is an ex-employee, an orphan that was adopted til adulthood, or random person wandering.

KickinChicken breathes Yellow Smoke, which can calm down any living thing nearby; children, adults, and the reader. It also has a dreamscape-like effect (like what Catnap did in the game). For the BBI experiments and living toys tho, it will slow them down as if the smoke has a "freezing" effect. Some will sleep when theyre weak enough, but this smoke cannot completely combat CatNap's red smoke.

BBI KC (this will be what i will refer him to as to not to be confused with the cartoon one) doesn't like it when the reader goes out on her own

If you chose the reader/player to be an ex-employee; BBI KC will recognize her as the caretaker who showed genuine care to him even as an experiment. As a result, he has a small childish crush on her but set it aside because of survival. (He still has it tho)

If you chose the reader/player to be an orphan; BBI KC will recognize you as one of his old playmates when he was still "alive". He was very protective of you after you encountered him in the factory.

If you chose the reader/player to be a random explorer; he spared you and took interest in your offer to bring him to the outside world. He admired your determination to go back home alive and your luck to deal with the shittiest toy factory in the world. You two worked together to solve puzzles and activate the power switches etc.

When the two of you got outside of a building, you took the opportunity to fly with BBI KC and explored every bit of PlayCare (specifically, after BBI Dogday's chase sequence) You loved grabbing on BBI KC' s talons as he flew up. You had the impulsive thought of leaving it all behind by flying up to the entrance of the cable car but Ollie called before you can even tell BBI KC to do so.

When BBI KC rests, you snuggle up to his chest and he chirps in a hoarse voice. He will also exhale some yellow smoke to prevent enemies from getting closer.

He tries his best to be with you at every second but there are times when he cant (like sneaking into vents or the School)

He hugs you with his wings to keep you warm.

Whenever you're scared, BBI KC always says pleasant things to boost your confidence up. He doesnt like it when y/n shakes in fear.

He got extremely violent with CatNap. Especially that one time when he was about to eat your head.

He has bird instincts to pick up random stuff and pile it near you whenever you're at rest. (he's like building a nest)

If there was food in the game, BBI KC wouldve gotten you lots of it.

He likes playing with your grabpack and often high-fives with you whenever you two activated a generator

He hates ollie the moment interruptor

having to watch your boyfriend clean counters and sweep the floor wasn't the most exciting thing in the world. but.. he didn't look half bad while doing it. with the sleeves of his bartender 'uniform' rolled up and his focused expression, you couldn't help but admire him. well, okay.. you hadn't been dating that long but the crush you had on yohei was... you've had to for a little longer than you'd like to admit. so when he accepted your confession, you were extremely surprised that the cold-fronted man had actually accepted.

besides that, you really just had wanted to spend some time with him lately. after all, he'd been working so much! why not take some time off and spend some time with you? that's what you had proposed but-

"i needa finish cleaning, babe."

"oh.."

those were the only words that had been spoken since you had gotten here. letting out a dramatic sigh, you slumped down onto the bar counter that he had just finished cleaning. the damp, cool counter smelled of cleaning supplies and you wrinkled your nose at the sudden strong smell and lifted your head back up to wipe your now wet cheek.

"what're you sighing for?" he looked over after you had let out the dramatic sigh, cloth in hand as he wiped down the opposite end of the counter from you.

okay so.. maybe it was a little bit awkward, eating lunch with your boyfriend. or well... new boyfriend. not like you've ever had one before but it felt awkward to sit by him during lunch uninvited. but... it's kind of an unspoken thing that you're allowed to do that, right? you had been friends beforehand but... this whole relationship thing was kinda hard... especially with your shy boyfriend.

"ROARR!! i'm gonna get ya, (name)!!" he made a scary face as he ran over to where you were sitting with his arms outstretched, ready to grab you. you couldn't help but laugh at his childishness when he tackled you down onto the carpet. "iiii... got you!!!"

you both became a fit of giggles after ryu tackled you down, cuddling in closer to you as if being on the floor was a normal occurrence for the two of you. "okay, okay.. it's time to actually get up and ready, ryu." you patted his head as he childishly wrapped his arms around you and shook his head with a pout.

"not yet! just a little longer, 'kay? and then we will blast off, captain!!" he declared, suddenly an astronaut instead of a dinosaur now. you couldn't hold back the laughter that bubbled up inside of you.

"from dinosaur to astronaut? what a drastic switch!" you playfully teased him before he suddenly jumped up, pointing up towards the ceiling (which you assumed he was pointing towards the sky) and brought his finger back down to point at you on the floor.

"yes! we will be blasting off to the moon! astronaut ryu and (name) are making it to the moon!" he declared loudly as you got up from your spot on the ground and walked over to his excited face.

"i'm sure we will, ryu, but it's time to get ready, okay?" you smiled at him before he sighed, seemingly accepting the fact that he couldn't sit and have fun with you all day in his room.

"one thing before we blast off!" he gave a determined look, his hands on his hips. you raised your eyebrows at him as a silent 'go ahead'. "astronaut ryu needs a kiss before he gets ready!" you would have been flustered by his sudden request but seeing him so determined made you forget the blush that had burned onto your face when he said it. leaning in, you gave him a kiss on his smiling face before he cheered leaving you to look at him with a content smile on your face. yeah, he was definitely the one for you.

"you don't have to force yourself, love," the deep, comforting voice of saimon sounded beside you as you both sat on his bed. you wanted to take your relationship a little farther and sleep beside him instead of sleeping in another room whenever you visited him. "take your time."

"no, no it's alright. i trust you and stuff, but i'm just nervous..." you sighed, nerves getting the better of you as you fiddled with your hands in your lap. his hand lifted from its spot behind you and rubbed your back, gently nudging you closer to him.

"you don't have to rush anything, love. i'll wait for you to be ready." he assured you as he rubbed your back, leaning down to kiss your temple.

your hand reached up to touch his face gently, leaning up to reach his face as well now and kiss him. for real this time. although it was your first real kiss with him, it felt so natural and comfortable as his hand held yours, thumb rubbing over your knuckles as you both held the kiss for what felt like minutes till you had to pull away for air.

"...sorry! i should have asked before doing that-" he had a soft smile on his face as you rambled on, flustered that you had done that without even asking him beforehand.

Jay- she/they (occasionally he) transfem + gender-fluid, bisexual

Hard of hearing, wears hearing aids. I think the hearing loss has always been there, but I think her elemental power just worsened it, bc you know. Thunder loud.

That being said, I think she was the first to get her elemental powers. I think they got them when she was like, a really really young kid.

its not really anything tangible or even interesting its just the current backdrop for my little continuous daydream i explore before sleeps

Foundational info:

(in past) Cow Al is struggling to recover from emotional crisis experienced in college (traumatic relationship), + tries to hold down some jawb but finds himself unable to stay in that environment away from home (none of his "friends" acknowledge the turmoil which makes him feel more lost), + moves back to family farm.

He likes doing different kinds of manual jobs which are always needed around + he does have that "my parents are my best friends" thing going on so he kind of just stays there to present day.

He lives in a little, idk what else to call it but a mobile home, but its the longer rectangular ones ykwim, some ways off the main Hub. (Also there's lots of focus on community in my furryverse + there's lots of non al family furs living in and working on the place + sharing resources and work and such. Its not a HUGE place but its big ^_^)

Anyway, Smunker moves in to the little forest that you cld walk to from the farm area. He lives in a little sunken tree stump den thing hee heeeee. Not many other furs live there, + there's actually more Lesser Animals (what i call just regular non furry animals) present

The two of em meet at a grocery store, there was a relevant little point here that I forgot, which was that one of em wasn't even supposed to be there that first day for (x reason). Whatever.

The area that Cow Al lives in doesn't have very many Different looking furs. Al's family is actually all natural colors too. So he sees this pink smunk and goes a little insane (positive) (he promises later its not just because smunker looks different, but it was what drew his eye) but they never really interact (al keeps going to that same store Just In Case lol) until one day (cliche incoming) the little wheeled ladder that helps smaller furs get to higher shelves isn't available + he gets to help smunker get something from high up (he all but runs to be able to be the person to do this LOL)

Al actually has game + is confident, he's just out of practice from prior Events. He loves being social and misses making/being able to make friends so he does in fact manage to build up on interactions with Smunker...they become friends ➡️ realize they live close to each other.

Al actually accidentally damages smunker's home at some point by accident, + houses them while it's fixed, and there's another instance where smunker gets his leg caught in an illegal bear/foot trap on the walk back home at night, and then Al is also adamant on keeping an eye on him while he heals (+ is also the one who had to go help him get out of said trap...its literally a whole dramatic thing.)

I think I'm keeping both of these events as canon because it leads to the funny little situation of Al being like no wayyyyy i actually for real like this guy now that we've spent more time together like this...i need him to sleep on my belly to live :3 and cant stop having weird dreams about him. Idk if he feels the same. heeeeeeeeeelp. While skunker is like. Im for real going to kill myself for inconveniencing this person. He probably thinks im the biggest nuisance ever. I've overstayed my welcome for sure.

I haven't yet decided on the event that gets em Together. Might just be a little "date" at nearby ducky pond or something LOL. Skunker is shocked either way like huhh I didn't even know you liked me... Al has to get used to having a small partner again + navigate a relationship that doesn't suck ass again. Smunker has to get used to having big nice bf who cares about them. They like each other

A/N ok so this is like my first head cannons that I've done so im sorry if this sucks. I might redo it one day when im better at it. Also wasn't sure if its supposed to be romantic but it is sorry.

+Starting this off with the fact he's lowkey scared of you at first. Not scared but like intimidated by your powers.

+Likee idk if you've seen the headcanon of Bianca being able to turn invisible but you can do that with your powers. Which freaks him out when you sneak up on him. 

+You also use that power to prank the Ares cabin with him. You're usually not one for pranks or anything but Percy always ends up talking you into it.

+As i said before he was a little intimidated at first cause you had this super scary glare on your face the whole time you met him. You didn't mean to it was just your natural face and you were kinda tired so. 

+You were also good with a sword which leads to lotsss of sparring sessions together. Which usually ends up with one of you hurt and having to go to the infirmary.

+You were also close with Annabeth which means you and her usually end up talking about all the stupid stuff Percy does which surprisingly doesn’t get him killed.

+I would say it's like a sun and moon relationship but you both are pretty dark. Percy can be happier sometimes but still it's more like Moon and Stars.

+He loves baking, especially his mom's baking so sometimes when he's missing her you'll shadow travel(takes lots of energy but worth it) to her house to get some of the stuff she baked for him. He's always so happy when he gets it his eyes light up like a puppy

+One time he really wanted to dye a streak of his hair blue but wanted you to also get a streak of color which ended up with both of you having a different streak of color in your hair. 

+You also use your powers to scare him a lot but it's usually after he scares you. 

+You guys also sneak out of camp to get pizza one time you tried to doordash it but that didn't end well.

+He's super nice to you also like at first I feel like it was definitely playful banter yet also a little enemies till you got to know each other more.

+You both definitely try to out power each other in battle like. Oh you're raising some dead people? Percy’s gonna make a little hurricane around him. It's all playful but you both compare how many monsters you killed after battle. 

+You like to read a lot. Most demigods do have dyslexia but you don't so you are able to read a lot without struggle. Percy always listens to your rants about the characters and the stuff going on with a smile on his face.

+He loves listening to your voice so if you are deeply interested in a topic he'll listen to you rant for hoursss. 

+You don't go outside much as you're not very social and lots of campers are kinda afraid of you but Percy will encourage you to go outside and if you don't want to he’ll gladly stay in either one of your cabins and just watch movies or something. 

+If you're more of an affectionate person Percy's always there to hug you or hold hands whatever you want but if you're not he’ll wait for you to hold his hand or hug but he’ll usually always be locking pinkies with you.

+Skin care nights though. You both dedicate a night towards doing skin care and stuff especially if you've both had a rough week like him putting a face mask on you AHHH.

+Painting each other's nails omg. Percy usually has some sort of blue/green color on his nails and you'll usually have some sort of dark color especially black. Anyway i think that he will have his ring finger painted to the color you have on your nails and you'll have his color on your ring finger. Idc if this is cliche let me simp and die at this

+Matching bracelets is a yes you got him one with seashell charms and he got you one with skulls on it. I love matching couple things

I was inspired to do my own pinata assignments for some of my f/os after seeing @bugsband do so! I fell in love with VP as a little kid when I could only play the original demo version of it on the Xbox 360 arcade disc and it only grew when I finally got an actual copy of the game as a gift. A few years ago I bought my own xbox and got copies of both the original AND trouble in paradise for myself and while I def don’t play it as much as I want to, it’s still a favorite of mine 💛

Some of these are definitely based just on Vibes than anything else so some might not be as accurate lol but this was still fun. Under the cut because I typed too much-

This section I did first because they definitely seem the most accurate and understandable lol maybe kinda on the nose for some but that’s what makes it fun!

Present Mic and Aizawa are pretty self explanatory, especially if you compare the candary to how Mic looks in the flashbacks to when they were in High School lol. Aizawa probably wishes he was a kittyfloss but the crowla was calling his name. The crowla’s ability to distract Dastardos and save your piñatas from him temporarily feels fitting too. 

Roman being a pretztail is also self explanatory, the pretztail is well known for being sneaky and crafty and those are two things Roman does very well as a thief. 

Hypnos is a goobaa because. Sheep. Counting sheep. Yeah? Not to mention “the Goobaa is famous for its accommodating nature and dreams of world peace”.

Lysandre is literally lion themed. He has a lion. He is a lion. Thus, Roario. Not much more explanation needed.

Kiryu is the Dragon of Dojima. He is also a pain in the ass. Leaving it at that.

This section is a little less on the nose, but I still like the assignments anyways! Prismo was a toughie because I really wanted to assign him a pink pinata but I didn’t think many of them actually fit, except for maybe the pink flutterscotch.

Mordin Solus (Mass Effect) - Sweetle

Prismo (Adventure Time) - Parrybo or Pink Flutterscotch

Mordin is a sweetle because they look similar 🥰 I also really wanted to include him since I was including Nihlus. Fun fact: I have personal beef with sweetles. The tutorial stuff drives me insane and I hate having to catch one. Same thing with the bispotti. Fuck those guys.

Nihlus obviously matches the sour s’morepion in terms of aesthetics, the hard plating of the scorpion and the deep red color, but Nihlus also kinda sucks (Which I say with as much love as I can physically give). These two belong together.

Prismo doesn’t actually really match the parrybo much but idk. There’s just something about that little dude that calls out to me. Pink Flutterscotch might be a better match because it’s pink and Prismo also makes me think of kisses. Anyways who said that-

Langston is obvious for obvious reasons, yeah. But I put tigermisu instead of a kittyfloss for Petula because gdi that poor girl deserves some respect and by god is she going to get it!!! She’s not a kitten, she’s a big ass cat.
