Oh God I don't know if this will read as coherent because my thoughts about Showtime are all over the place. But I'll try to format this the best I can

Pomni had always been a nervous wreck, but her mind state becomes more manageable over time. She eventually adjusts to the circus life like everyone else did.

"Accepting" her fate is a different story. The will to escape, to remember, never really leaves. She's just more careful about it.

So when she starts working with Caine - to improve life so people don't go abstracting anymore, and hopefully find a definitive exit - she's not expecting to end up liking her time with him.

Not that she'd absolutely hate it, either. He's… "okay"… Just-- outlandish, loud, he keeps invading her personal space, he keeps touching her, and it makes her die a little every time.

If he's up to listening, though… it can't be that bad, right?

Turns out that no, it wasn't that bad.

Yes, he is outlandish, loud, he keeps invading her personal space and touching her. But she explains what she means to him, clearly and patiently, and he makes an effort to do better. An actual effort.

Sometimes he'd misinterpret what she meant - the ambiguity of human language - and the new games would go horribly. But little by little, his efforts make life overall better. Something reminiscent of actual, real life, the one they've all forcibly left behind.

And he tries, and he tries, and Pomni finds herself enjoying the process as much as the good results.

Pomni likes Caine's eagerness to learn. His enthusiastic attitude borders on silly, and the absurdity makes her laugh on occasion. When faced with the prospect of a "real" exit, she loves his upbeat optimism.

When she's not hanging out with Ragatha, Jax, Gangle, Zooble and Kinger, she begins to enjoy spending quality time with Caine.

Each one of their hang outs is a new surprise. They make a picnic in the tallest mountain exactly in between day and night. They learn to dance - while floating in the air. "Since you asked, here's a DIGITAL camera! Let's take pictures of the Void for one tenth of a second at a time!"

Sometimes he just comes by Pomni's room, and they end up losing track of time. Just chatting about how things have been, what they could be, and what to do next. Ideas and ideas and ideas.

Before Pomni knows it, she's comfortable enough that recalling his old habits makes her not dread them anymore. So when Caine stands close and lightly touches her arm due to oversight, she makes sure he knows it's all right.

And they keep spending time together, and he touches, and touches, and touches her. Pomni, in turn, feels lighter, and lighter, and lighter. Peaceful, at ease. Dare she say, happy, even.

Life is not perfect. As it stands though, it's good enough. No one has abstracted. No one is at risk of abstracting so far.

Progress is slow, but the research for an exit continues, and she is hopeful. The thought of actually leaving grows closer to reality. But a part of her feels heavy.

When it occurs to Pomni that leaving the Amazing Digital Circus means leaving Caine behind, she is alarmed by how much she'll miss him.

It'll hurt. Badly. So much the thought pains her even now.

The moment Pomni realizes this, she comes to the unexpected conclusion that she may like Caine a little more than she thought she would.

This later leads to an interesting discussion with Ragatha.

By the time Pomni comes to that conclusion, Caine is already down bad.

Neither has any idea that the other is in love with them.

Cue dumbasses trying to deal with their feelings while the potential conflict the escape brings looms over their heads.

bowuigi love spell idea

Some wannabe Big Bad got it in their head that the reason Mario is so successful is he's got the Ultimate Sidekick in his own brother. What better way to defeat him than to kidnap Luigi and cast an elaborate unbreakable love spell on him? Romantic love will beat brotherly love, right??? (No.)

Obviously this doesn't go well, Mario rushes to Luigi's rescue and beats the snot out of the villain along the way. But it just so happens that one of the many complicated components of the spell was stolen from Bowser, and he barges in to get it back just as the spell is reaching its peak.

Nobody notices what happened at first. Luigi is so happy to be rescued that he thinks he's just feeling especially grateful to Bowser, even though his help was accidental. On their way out Bowser finally sees the magic circle on the floor and the items placed at various points and mutters "isn't this a waxing moon heart prison?"

Later, when Luigi is lying in bed wide awake thinking about Bowser of all people, he remembers that Bowser had known the name of the spell. No need to worry Mario about this. Surely if Luigi just... asks nicely? (And he really wants to see Bowser too, that's a bonus.)

Bowser thinks the situation is hilarious, but doesn't hesitate to help Luigi when he asks. Unfortunately he's lost track of the book he read the spell in (Luigi politely doesn't ask why he was reading about love spells in the first place) and can't remember all the details. They search the castle but find nothing.

Luigi comes back a week later. They do some more searching, try out a couple curse-breaking methods. Nothing. Bowser offers to let Luigi come back again, and finally Luigi asks why Bowser is being so nice about all this.

"I know what it's like to love someone who doesn't love you back. Wouldn't wish that on anybody."

So Luigi comes back the next week. And the next. And the next. At one point he accidentally refers to it as "date night" and Bowser laughs at him but starts calling it that too.

It's nice spending time with Bowser like this. It's REALLY nice. Sure, the feelings are artificial, but that doesn't stop him from feeling them. Having Bowser's attention, making him laugh... it feels good. Luigi almost forgets he's trying to STOP feeling this way.

It goes on for months, until finally one day, after one more failed curse-breaking attempt, Bowser asks, "What if it never works?" "I'll leave you alone," Luigi says. "I'll get out of your hair for good." "Would that be so bad?" Bowser asks. "Is it really so AWFUL being in love with me?" "No..." Luigi admits. "But you deserve someone who loves you for who you are." "You're the only one who thinks that and that's just because you're cursed," Bowser says. "I mean it. Not just because of the curse, I don't think there's anybody who doesn't deserve to have somebody love them." "Then stay," Bowser says. "Be that somebody." Luigi finally realizes what Bowser's saying... what he's been hinting at for weeks, actually, and Luigi refused to see it. "I could be good to you," Bowser says softly. "I could make you so happy." Luigi gets up and leaves without a word.

It's the hardest thing he's ever done, but he tells himself it's for the best. What if the spell does break one day? He'll stop loving Bowser and shatter his heart. And even if that doesn't happen, it's not good for Bowser to settle for artificial love.

So Luigi goes straight to Mario (okay, after ice cream and a cry sesh) and tells him... most of the truth. He lets Mario believe that Bowser has been annoyed with the situation this whole time. Mario knows a lot of people who know a lot of people, so one quest later they've finally found an Old Master Wizard who remembers the spell.

"Just wait it out," the guy says. "Don't make any rash decisions, and you'll be good in a month." "...what." "Yeah the waxing moon heart prison only lasts until the moon is in the same phase it was when it was cast, then you've gotta top it up." "Is... it possible to top the spell up by accident?" "Not a chance, it's nearly as complicated as casting it the first time. Don't worry! You'll be back to normal in four weeks."

It's been four MONTHS. And Luigi never noticed his feelings changing... much. They seemed to go from infatuation to something deeper but he can't remember when exactly.

Did he fall in love with Bowser for real?

Did he break Bowser's heart by leaving for nothing?

On the way back Mario keeps staring at Luigi, waiting for an explanation, but Luigi can't give him one. He shakes Mario off before they reach home and makes a beeline for Bowser's castle.

It takes a lot of apologizing before Bowser will see him, and even after explaining that the spell has been broken for a long time now Bowser still doesn't seem interested in anything Luigi has to say. So Luigi gives a big flowery speech about all the things he likes about him while Bowser glares in silence, but at last Luigi ends it with, "I love you."

It's the first time he's actually said those words. He's talked about "the love spell" and "my feelings," but he's never said "I love you" to Bowser's face.

Bowser picks him up and kisses him.

"I love you too." "Oh! Great." "It's gonna be a while before I can remember that it's not magic making you love me." "I understand." "So you'll need to tell me. A lot." "I can do that!" Luigi says.

He's got a lot of time to make up for.

"Oh, will you just confess already? This is getting pathetic," Frank says, rolling his eyes.

"Confess what?"

"... Are you being serious?"

Wally admits that he doesn't understand the feelings he's having towards his precious neighbor, and isn't sure what to do.

Frank, having felt the same feelings towards some of his neighbors as well, can understand the sentiment so the two begin planning a confession.

They finally settled on sending a letter. A simple note, asking you to meet 'your secret admirer' under the blossoming great apple tree.

It's something out of a romance novel. Definitely Frank's idea, but Wally finds it so unironically charming!

Wally goes back and forth on what to do, eventually settling on his normal outfit and a gift of your favorite kind of chocolate.

Anxiously, the small man rocks on his feet, holding a nice apple shaped box behind his back.

The patchwork grass crunches ahead. He peeks up, large onyx pupils hiding under his lashes.

It's you. His favorite neighbor!

His fake felt heart is pounding in his ears.

Your voice rang out, like a heavenly bell blesses his ears.

Your frame casts a shadow when you tower over him, but he doesn't mind. He just stares up before his face feels burning hot and his gaze meets the flora again.

If you accept, he'll be over the moon. Wally would gesture for you to bend down and will hug your head against his chest. Mumbling about how happy he is, and how happy you make him. As a boyfriend, he never really leaves the crush phase. He still feels bubbly when you smile or laugh with him, although it's a lot more toned down than from before.

If you don't, he'll be a bit gloomy for a couple of days. Wallowing in rejection alone in his home, but will eventually get over it. Even if you don't love him the same way, he's more than happy just to be your friend. (Although he'll insist on being your greatest friend instead.)

R watches from behind the counter as you push the tarp covered trolley into the break room. After cleaning up for the day, you've been in and out of the room without saying much to him or answering his questions. The slam of a locker door and your shoes clicking across the hard floor draw you back to his spot as you fling your bag over your shoulder. You present the item retrieved from within, picking off the plastic film wrapped around the box.

Hanamiya Makoto, the captain and coach of the Kirisaki Daiichi basketball team, is known to be the most sadistic and selfish person. He's a man that steals people's dreams and crushes them.

A disgusting man who doesn't care about anything else but be number one. A lot of girls had confessed their feelings for him, but they were all brutally turned down.

Because those girls want nothing more than to irritate their parents, they're going through their rebellious phase and have a weird attraction for the "bad boy" type.

Due to the countless rejections that Hanamiya gave, everyone thought that he just wasn't interested in love at all, they all painted him as a man without a heart.

Hanamiya noticed the lingering eyes and got frustrated, "What the hell are you idiots looking at?!" He said frowning, (F/n) lightly punched Hanamiya, "Hey! Don't say those things! They're your classmates!"

He groaned and rolled his eyes, the two of them then walked out of the classroom to get lunch together.

"I wonder what (L/n)-San sees in him..." A young girl muttered as she watched the two couple walk out of the classroom.

I’m trying to get into astrology and I have no idea where to being and it’s hard to find good information

do you have like a beginners guide or just a small spiel of where to start? thank you :)

A beginner's guide is a really good idea, maybe I'll create one some day. As to where to start I suggest getting to know what many in the community now call your "big 3" which is your Sun Sign, Moon Sign, and Rising/Ascendant. Your Sun Sign is your "zodiac sign", the sign most people are familiar with in astrology. This is the sign based on the month you were born, for example if you were born between June 21 through July 22 then your Zodiac Sign or Sun Sign is Cancer. Your Sun Sign is your individuality, ego, some describe it as your life force, your vitality, it is the self, sort of like a base personality in which all other placements are integrated through. Many who first are learning about astrology I've noticed almost go through a "moon sign" phase. It is one of the planets or subjects outside of your zodiac sign many first learn about. The Moon Sign is your inner, emotional self. It is how you react to things emotionally, process emotions, it is your intuition, your nurturing side, your emotional needs, and it also has a connection to motherhood/parenthood. I sometimes describe the Moon Sign as almost a second zodiac sign because of how important our emotional selves are to who we are and how we live our life. The Moon changes zodiac signs every 2-3 days, so you will need to know the day, month, and year of your birth to determine what your Moon Sign is. Your Rising/Ascendant is another placement many first learn about when diving into astrology. The Rising, also called Ascendant, is a point in space, technically an angle in your natal chart. This determines how you come off to others, your raw self-expression, your impression or you could look at it as your "vibe", it describes your approach to the world, and it is also linked to interests and some believe physical appearance. To find your rising you will need to know your day, month, year, time of birth, and location of birth. After learning more about the Sun, Moon, and Rising, I would then suggest to learn about zodiac sign's elements and qualities so you can have a basic idea of how each sign can function in different areas of a chart/placement. Elements and qualities are also the basis of compatibility. Fire Signs are generalized by traits of passion, openness, individuality, independence, a temper, generosity as well as selfishness, and confidence. (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) Earth Signs are generalized by traits of dependability, loyalty, practicality, being grounded, patient, being a hard worker, and logical. (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) Air Signs are generalized by traits of sociability, intellect and/or a love of learning, objectivity, has social intuition or intelligence, fair, respectful, detachment, an open mind, but also arguing, debating, and being opinionated. (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) Water Signs are generalized by traits of sensitivity, intuitive, depth, gentle, calmness, healing talents, emotional intelligence, understanding, empathy, kindness, and attachment. (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) The qualities are a classification of how a sign's energy might flow or be expressed. There is one sign in each element for every quality. The qualities are Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. Cardinal Signs are about taking action, leading, initiation, change, and assertion. (Aries, Cancer. Libra, Capricorn) Fixed Signs are about sustaining, managing, consistency, stability, and stubbornness. (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) Mutable Signs are about flexibility, endings and beginnings, versatility, instability, and unpredictability. (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)

For your ask game, what’s your favorite thing you’ve ever written?

. . . god I don't even know, man, that's a LOT of things, hahaha. And like, that answer definitely changes depending on the day/year/phase of the moon. So you're getting a couple answers here! Also I'm gonna keep this mostly to DC and only include finished fics, because me picking between WIPs would take a thousand years and also probably kill us all, lol (ignore the fact that a couple of these fics have sequels in-progress right now, STILL COUNTS OKAY??).

everything happens for a reason. sometimes that reason is that you are stupid and make bad decisions. is one of the funniest fucking things I've ever written, full stop. Lex is SO fun to write, seriously, I could write him all fucking DAY.

I'm really proud of blondes really do have more fun, both because of how much it seems to have affected/touched people who read it and because I think it was my first experience with writing gender euphoria as a major thing and writing, like, an actual explicit trans narrative? Like, I definitely wrote genderfuckery and implications and metaphors before that and probably even some trans characters, arguably, but that's the first story I really remember deliberately just making about being TRANS. And also holy shit, man, did I ever love writing gender euphoria for the first time, especially because I'd mostly only seen gender DYSphoria as a focal point in other stories and it just didn't/doesn't resonate with me the same way. I'm not trans because everything else makes me miserable, I'm trans because that's what makes me HAPPY. I don't remember if I was intentionally thinking that at the time, but that's the story I wanted to write for that one.

one day this will all be yours and you found me when no one else was looking are both concepts I love and found really cathartic to write and was very pleased to finish. I love that they're sort of "families of choice" fics about, like, actual BIOLOGICAL families (like, in the context of the fics, anyway), which probably sounds weird but is a concept I'm sort of painfully fascinated by--like, about the fact that you CAN choose your family, obviously, but sometimes you're lucky enough to find out that you had someone worth choosing already and just didn't necessarily know it, or to both grow into people who CAN choose each other even if you had problems or lashed out due to outside traumas or didn't always understand each other. That's, like, very personally relevant and meaningful to me, the idea that maybe the thing that got all fucked-up and the choices you made when you didn't fully understand the consequences of them can still be worked through and repaired and made into something new and better.

Also, special mention because this one is back a few fandoms but zero humble on it: best friends means you get what you deserve is just really, really good, and I did GOOD on it, hah. I took a three-word prompt/concept and turned it into 17k of "hey, doesn't this make more sense for why this character is the way he is, and isn't this what the main character actually wanted??" in genre-savvy explanation of why the sidekick character might stick around for the antisocial asshole hero and seem perfectly happy to base their life largely around them no matter how said hero treats them, and then I made the Consequences(tm) happen to Jaskier and Geralt, both bad AND good. I am just SO dang proud of that one, UGH I love it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ FRIENDSHIP, AND THE CONSEQUENCES THEREOF.

these are all super old doodles (and a wip) except for the Dia and Born one which is from yesterday!!

basically this AU revolves a lot around music, as someone who really loves music. I want to say that the characters are all in Music school or maybe Art school so that it can include other characters’ interests like Red Beryls love for fashion and tailoring.

This idea came to me when I was listening to rock (more specifically Queen) and I started envisioning Phos’s moon group as a band! At first consisting of all the gems that went with Phos to the moon, with the exception of Goshen since they never really stuck around for much and were just doing their own thing LOL. Ofc this means that Dia later on breaks off from the band to become an idol like in the manga. Also Padpa plays tthe piano and as a former piano player that’s important for me to say. I have most of that arc envisioned and back when I first thought of the AU I had wanted to execute it with animatics, which im still kind of considering!

I also assigned each of Phos’s phases songs, which I can delve into in another post. Going back in time a little to the beginning, I imagine that partnerships are kind of like bands too , and duos and stuff. Like for example Dia and Bort are a duo and they make music togetherr :3 and they have little matching pendants because idk I thought it was cute. Anyways tho I was thinking maybe Phos just lives around this school at the very beginning of this AU and wants to join a band or just join them in making music, but they haven’t gotten accepted into the school and the other gems see them as inexperienced. Btw Antarc is the one who starts to teach Phos about music similarly to how they started winter duties together. Also I love Phos and Antarc so there might be a lot of focus on them in this AU.

Moon signs edition part 3!🍂

• Taurus/2H moons tend to become addicted to going to casinos the quickest.

• Sagittarius/9H moons have a thing for drinking.

• Aries/1H moons tend to be quick tempered yet they’re also quick to forgive and move on like nothing happened.

• On the flip side when they see someone as their enemy, even if they don’t say anything to that person they’ll gossip about that person and make fun of them for years.

• Air moons & Leo/Sagittarius moon/3H/5H/7H/9H/11H moons 🤝 having some of the best playlists out here.

• I’ve noticed fixed moons (Aquarius/Leo/Taurus/Scorpio) tend to be heavily into 1 music genre or they have long lasting phases per genre.

• Taurus/2H moons 🤝 listening to others’ ideas but dismissing them if their not practical sounding.

• Sagittarius/9H moons 🤝 being the life of the party even if they’re shy.

• Libra/7H moons & Taurus/2H moons just have an eye for aesthetic. Even if they don’t acknowledge it themselves.

• One thing fire moons/1H/5H/9H moons will do is try cheer other people up but will not have it when others try to do the same for them.😭

• Gemini/Virgo/Scorpio/Aquarius moons 🤝 overthinking everything.

• People with their moon at 10/22 degree tend to come across reserved even if they have a bubbly personality and are usually very poised from their teens.

• Scorpio moons are some of the most affectionate people I’ve ever met! They’ll listen to your problems and give you a shoulder to cry on. They also show that they care for you and honestly I love that about them. <3

• People with 1H/5H/9H moons can come off very jovial and adventurous in personality! If in the 1st house they’ll be very feisty and teasing, 5H moons are full of life and have very animated mannerisms, 9H moons tend to be daredevils who always down for an adventure!! • Virgo/Scorpio/Aqua moons & 6H/8H/11H moons are very smart and pretty much always a step ahead.

• 3H & 9H moons tend to be well rounded.

• Taurus/2H moons have an eye for fine quality. These are the people who don’t really care where they’re buying something from as long as it looks good/will last longer.

• Depending on the aspect, people with moon-mercury tend to be good at talking about their emotions or helping others voice theirs. They’re the types to have others opening up to them or telling them their life story.

• Moon at 1/13/25 degree tend to have this child-like energy to them. They’re also very protective of those closest to them.

• Moon at 3/15/27 degree tend to come across as playful and somewhat energetic yet they can also be very scatterbrained and tend to overthink everything—and God forbid they have a mercurial moon in the combo.💀(No hate there, just to say those that do have a mercurial moon at Gemini degree are THE biggest over thinkers who tend to stress so much they enter paranoia.)

• I’ve come to notice 6H moons are common among celebrities!

• Air moons logic is randomly texting their friends something and not reply back the whole day and then being like “Oh don’t worry I’m okay now.”

• Moons at 1/13/25 degree tend to be restless and rather address things in the moment when something’s not right to them.

• Most Aquarius moons I’ve met have this thing where they sit and contemplate on whether or not to share potentially helpful knowledge on a topic that somebody’s talking about because they’ll know exactly what it is but they might also be able to use their knowledge to their advantage later.

• I’ve come to notice most Aquarius and Leo moons tend to have 2-3 siblings while most Libra moons I know tend to have at least 3-4 siblings.

• I’ve also noticed most Scorpio moons are either the only child or they’re the eldest of the bunch.

• Capricorn moons are always seen as the most reliable/responsible ones.

• Most Gemini & Pisces moons I know tend to be an only child, either that or they have 2 siblings.

• Libra moons tend to either be the eldest or the youngest.

• Taurus moons tend to have 3+ siblings, I’ve also seen this placement in people who were born into big families.

• Aries & Sagittarius moons tend to be the 2nd eldest when born in big families or the eldest of 2.

• Most Virgo moons I know are either born into a small family or a big family no in between.

• Most Aquarius/Capricorn/Virgo/Gemini/Leo moons I know tend to have step siblings or have parents who remarried/had kids with other people.
