Depth dwellers unite, and swan dive in the Dark, Metal Masked Machines designed to always hit their mark.

obviously all of the cool energy tatoos carved onto the robots are so that they can be lights amidst an infinite expanse of darkness, duh. they were Made this way.

About the piece - I'm still feeling inspired by anglerfish and other deep sea creatures, I spent more time than usual adjusting the texture on this one to give the dark blue a sinking feeling, but it being this dark also means the turquoise can stand out more which I like. I didn't get the detail as intricate as I would like, but its cool that this feels like more of a full body piece than I usually do, theres a bit more posture here.

One aspect of my setting I want to get better at depicting is there being "Celestial, Skybound" robots, and "Terrestrial, Groudbound" robots - they are sisters, at once the same, and yet parallel. Sometimes I like to think of variants, like what would the Celestial variant of this Terrestrial one look like or vice-versa, and that leads to some of the more exciting designs to try.

The Celestial ones live in and explore space - their part of the Singular Empire probably looks like thousands of space stations. The Terrestrial ones live on the ground so they have more complex structures and cities, but the "ground" also has unexplored frontiers, locales and wildernesses that require specialised equipment.

I like the idea that the robots can be natural astronauts of sorts, they're robots so maybe they don't need to breathe, but maybe they might still need tools to travel and move around or interact with their environment. Recently in the limited spare time from work I've been thinking about what their tools and equipment could look like, given that setting lets me have all kinds of different explorers.

This ones "wings" are probably meant to be one such kind of equipment - maybe it's like a jetpack - the idea is in the setting that the machining (lol) and craftspersonship of tools have gotten so refined that the cyborgs can get equipment that looks "like themselves" from a competent enough smith, even if they have really ornate or unusual patterns or shapes. Maybe amusingly when theyre using something generic second hand it very obviously doesn't look "like themselves".

In the past I've drawn others with similar backpacks that have gatling guns or other equipment instead, like the wings are a storage platform or something (while still maintaining the silhouette of being wings). I've somehow lost confidence in giving them complex looking equipment in the years since then, and should find a way to get it back.

It is a little mean, but Wei Wuxian doesn't seem surprised to be treated like he value nothing as an human being. Lan Wangji feels a little guilty. Specifically on a certain day, where Wei Wuxian comes into the store and buy a new novel written by a famous writer; Jiang Yanli. He looks so sad while holding his book to his chest, his eyes unfocused and distants.

— Are you alright? ask Lan Wangji.

And, to his shock, Wei Wuxian cries. He cries so much he fall to his knees, and start shaking. Lan Wangji hold him tight, grabs a tissue and delicately wipes the tears away from Wei Wuxian's cheeks. He keeps saying “sorry”, how sorry he is. Lan Wangji just cuddle him a little more strongly.

i can hardly find any transmascs in that tag.

there are cis women misgendering trans men as a kink, and talking about our bodies like sex dolls everywhere in that tag. its mostly cishet women using OUR tag to objectify our bodies because they are too afraid to consider that they might not be straight. it is at least half detransition kink. im very uncomfortable with cis people doing this, but if they want to i wont stop them.

but this is in OUR TAG. this is horrible. they write disgusting smut about women who are short twinks with soft tits and dripping cunts and no dysphoria at all.

they just call them trans men.

ive seen other transmascs complain about this too.

these fics are written by and for cis women. they are chasers. the way they talk about our bodies is revolting. they know nothing about trans men at all.

i know that not all trans men feel dysphoric about their bodies, but these women are still treating us like a fetish that only occurs in fiction, rather than people who have emotions and often want to have a flat chest and/or a penis.

in particular they fetishize gay trans men. all these fics are about femboys who are horrified by the concept of transitioning getting fucked by bears. the people writing this view transitioning as mutilation. its very obvious.

ive noticed that this occasionally extends to fetishizing cis men with gynecomastia. its clear they want to fuck women but think lesbians are disgusting, so they call the women in their fics men, but misgender them throughout the text.

i hardly see any representation for trans men who even want to transition. newsflash: a lot of us do want to transition. many of us have already had surgery.

if you genuinely do want to write smut with GOOD portrayal of trans men, heres some tips on what we want in our representation:

trans men who dont want to transition deserve rep too, but many of us are entirely uncomfortable with our bodies. very few of us want any attention given to the parts we are born with. a lot of pre op trans men wear a binder during sex. we're not all bottoms, and some of us wear strap ons.

when we're on testosterone, it causes vaginal atrophy, similar to menopause. it gets very dry down there and easily irritated. this means that vaginal sex can be very painful and could even damage tissues. even without T, vaginal penetration is usually no where near as fun as it is for cis women. anything being in there is awful and sometimes painful.

anal sex is a thing. its not gross. its perfectly normal. it just requires some lubricant, and for a trans man, is a lot more comfortable than vaginal sex.

shockingly, most of us do not want to be called girls.

dont misgender a trans person in a sex scene. at all. some of us like to be called good boys during sex. stop calling us girls.

some of us have had surgery. it is NOT mutilation. it is life saving. top surgery is one that we get most frequently. the results do look just like a cis mans chest. there are long thin scars under the pecs, but these fade after a few years. they may not even be visible. bottom surgery exists too.

metoidioplasty creates a micropenis out of the clitoris. it does look real. it looks like a regular micropenis. it has full sensation.

phalloplasty uses a flap of skin, usually from the forearm, and turns it into a penis. this surgery is more complex and is done in multiple stages. after it is complete, it looks like a circumcised penis. its size is dependent on the flap of skin used to make it, so it can actually be larger than average. (on r/phallo someone even got a reduction surgery because his dick was 7 inches long). the area the skin flap was taken from has pretty big scarring. it looks like the result of a severe burn. it is sometimes covered by a tatoo. there is a lot of misinformation about phalloplasty. it is a big surgery, but it is no where near as dangerous as the internet would have you believe. after it has fully healed it does look real, and a genital nerve is usually hooked up to the penis. it can take a while to heal (years), but after a few months sensation begins to return as the nerves heal. the clitoris is often buried in the base of the penis, and if a genital nerve hook up is done the penis can have full sensation, including the tip. not everyone gets full sensation, and it can take years for sensation to fully return, but 93% of men who get phalloplasty are satisfied with the results. that is a lot. it is quite rare that sensation is fully lost, so yes, you can orgasm after phalloplasty. one thing to note is that a phalloplasty penis cant get hard on its own. there are two types of implant for erections. one is a rod inside the penis, which can last over 20 years before needing a replacement. the rod is flexible, so can be positioned as an erection. the other implant is a internal pump that is more complicated than the rod, and needs to be replaced roughly every 15 years. it is filled with water and sits inside the penis. to get an erection, you squeeze one of the testicles, which is a pump implant, pushing the water into the penis, causing an erection.

most importantly, we are men. we can be feminine. we can be masculine. we can look exactly like cis men. dont forget that we are people, we are real. we are not some sex fantasy.

Kinda long, I like writing about KNB characters a lot, they're too silly.

It’s not like the guys hadn’t noticed the way you’d slyly pull down your already-long sleeves in front of them during practice. It got to the point where the team thought you were ashamed of your body, which led to a little intervention where they sat you down and started listing things that they liked about your personality, much to your confusion. They got really into it too: tearing up by the end. It was only until Kuroko muttered "You don't have to feel insecure around us, ok?" that you realised what they were trying to do.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Because that's not the reason I wear long sleeves!" you laugh out, clutching your stomach. "I thought you guys were trying to kick me out nicely!"

"...So what is the reason?" Koganei asks, Mitobe nodding along.

You chuckle a little more, still amused thinking about how long they must've been thinking this way.

"...Don't snitch."

The moment you pull up your sleeve, their eyes widen in disbelief...

...and not long after, the questions come flooding in.

"Is that a lizard?"

"Idiot, it's a dragon."

"Does this mean you're in a gang?"

"I thought the age to get a tatoo in Japan was 20."

"How did you get that?"

"Is it real?"

You chuckle once more, used to this kind of reaction.

"I lived in America, and the state laws were pretty soft on tattoos as long as you have writte consent from an adult. Got my first one a year ago, and now we're here."

Some turned to Kagami for some kind of confirmation on those laws, but he just shrugged, equally as shocked as they were.

Anyway, the events of the big tattoo reveal were 4 months ago, and it's still funny to look back on, even in the backseat of Kagetora's car, as you talk with Riko.

"But really, I never thought you'd have an arm covered in ink."

You laugh again, before putting on a cheeky grin.

"If you thought that was unbelievable, you have more to look forward to." you snicker, reading her confused reaction. She scans your outfit for stray areas of revealed skin, but to no avail.

"The hell are you planning..."

As you turn up at the beach, helping to unload the basketball hoops from Kagetora's boot, you see some familiar faces waving in the distance.

"Y/N-chii! Over here!" yells Kise, soon met with Aomine's palm to the back of his head.

"Moron, we're in public, you know." utters Midorima, pushing up his glasses.

Akashi and Murasakibara sit at a bench; one studying the antics and dynamics of the other three, the other chomping on a box of ice pops.

"Hey, I wasn't expecting to see all of you guys here." you say, impaling the pole of the hoop into the sand.

"Kuroko invited us, I assume we can stay?" Akashi replies.

You nod, smiling. "Of course! We're just waiting on the him and the others now."

Riko grunts, "Seriously, how can you invite people and then be the person who's late!" she exclaims, kicking the sand in an animalistic manner, earning a few confused glances from the others.

You laugh a little, before turning away, bag in hand.

"I'm just going to change into my beachwear, I'll be back soon."

"MAKE IT QUICK!" Riko yells, as you nod.

During your outfit change, the Seirin team turns up, jumping off the bus.

Immediately, Kuroko is met by a slap to the back of the head.

Eventually, a match begins. The Generation of Miracles on one, the Seirin team on the other.

Aomine gets a steal early on, before realising he can't dribble.

"Aomine-chii! Pass to me, don't just stand there, what are you looking at?" yells Kise, before his eyes land on you, jogging over with a more comfortable outfit for the heat.

"Hey, have you guys already started playing?"

Everybody just stares.

"...Hello?"

Riko is the first to say something.

"Lord."

There you stand, both arms littered with tattoos, along with ink traced along you collarbone and across your back. And don't forget the thighs.

"...What?" You ask, confused by the sudden attention.

Kuroko's eyes are just a little wider than usual, as he says, "I thought you only had one tattoo." You shrug, "Well, I didn't say I only had one tattoo."

Akashi squints his eyes at you from a distance, scrutinising you with his gaze.

"They look nice."

Aomine makes a point to act unbothered, but inside, he's freaking out. "oh my god they're a gang member i'm literally gonna get my ass beat holy shit i'm not ready i haven't even won an oscar before oh jesus i can't die like this i'm too young"

Kise on the other hand is very loud, commenting on all sorts of things, “Did you get those done here? In America? I have a fellow model with a similar design to that!”

Murasakibara just stares like a confused child, just glad that you’re here so that he doesn’t have to move around as much.

Midorima is also a member of team act unbothered, but backs up a bit. Not that he thinks that there's anything explicably wrong with having tattoos, but more so that Oha Asa predicted that "Cancers, watch out! You may encounter something or somebody dangerous today!". In hindsight, it was a ridiculous action to take; you'd always been so kind and welcoming to him and his team in previous matches and practice games, but we wasn't going to take the chance.

Kiyoshi is the first, and only person to laugh; he also laughed when you showed the team your first tattoo, he just finds these kinds of situations amusing.

Hyuuga and Kagami take the scolding route, half-heartedly berating you as you look at them kind of confused, they don't really mean anything, they just don't know how to respond to this kind of thing.

Izuki finds a way to crack a joke about the whole affair, much to the surprise of absolutely nobody.

Mitobe and Koganei compare notes scrawled on a little pad.

"Ha! I predicted it! 7 tattoos!" Koganei exclaims, as Mitobe sighs softly and hands him a ¥1000 note.

You giggle and clap your hands together.

"Let's continue the match!"

Modern au trans Ace has been consuming my mind lately so I thought I'll just share all of my headcanons or else I'll explode:

• Sabo was the first person he had come out to. It happened when they were around 9. Ace had always felt that something was "wrong" about him. That the way he acted, his interests and past times, and just how he would do things were "unnatural" or wierd". Once Ace became familiar with the conspet of transgenderism he just opened up to him, and was met with instant support.

• Immediately after this, Sabo gave Ace his (trademark) transgender haircut in the bathroom of Dadan's house. She actually entered it while they were there and upon seeing it she cried out of happyness. (Mothers know everything)

• Coming out to Garp was a bit harder for Ace since he wasn't sure how an older person would have reacted, I mean Garp just left there his grand"daughter" and came back to a grandson after all. But we all know that Garp would never discriminate, and plus now he has another grandson to train.

• Luffy arrived in his life after a full year after he had transitioned, so at first Ace wasn't sure how to exacly explain this to Luffy, but he did manage to open up to him after they officially became brothers. Luffy wasn't just an innocent kid, while he didn't fully understood concepts like transphobia, to him Ace is just his brother so if anyone is mean to him or calls him names he'll just kick their asses.

• Ace had been homeschooled for the 5 years that would have been him attending elementary school. Middle school was the first time he attended an actual school and at first he wasn't open or confident at all and was ready to just beat up anyone who tried to shit talk him.

• Surprisingly he made a few friends. They were mostly just Luffy's friends who were older than him or his friends's siblings, but he appreciated it anyway. His absolute best friend ever tho is Kuina. I hd her as non binary using she/they so its just trans supporting trans, and they also have like a million of other reasons to be friends but those were already pointed out.

• His top surgery was payed by none other than his father Newgate. The Whitebeards pirates would be just this one tatoo shop Ace works at that Newgate he opened after "retiring" from biker gangs and stuff.

• Obbligatory T4T Yamace, but we all already knew this, didn't we?

• Ace gets the best older trans guy advice from Franky. Because to me, he is just what every trans guy aspires to be, cool and hardboiled. And who wouldn't want to get advice from the dude who did his own top surgery in his father's mechanic shop at 15?

These are all from me, but feel free to add your own or elaborate on the ones you like.

Trans Ace is so real to me that I quite literally can't imagine him being cis. It's just so,,, Weird to me. And I absolutely love everything you said. I definitely think Sabo was the first one to know and the one who helped Ace the most with his transition, also telling Garp, who actually is way better (if you can say 'better' when something isn't even 'good' but yeah) at raising boys. At least he understands them better. So I think he wouldn't have a problem with it at all even if he's more on the "I don't really get it that much, kid, but as long as you're happy" type of vibe. I agree with everything,, When he was younger he really didn't interact with many people and usually preferred to be alone. Teachers considered him more of a problematic kid than anything, and always compared him to Sabo with the typical "how are you like this when your brother is just so polite and smart!?" but then Sabo always ends up fighting the teachers for saying that shit in front of the class and Sabo stops being so perfect in their eyes (also he starts rebelling himself a lot against the educational system lmao). And not to talk shit about Garp, but talking shit about Garp I'm sure Ace would get in trouble a lot and Garp wouldn't show up to the meetings with Ace's teachers. That only makes Ace feel lonelier and everyone thinks he's extremely troubled. When he's literally a sweetheart to both Sabo and Luffy,, When he meets Luffy's friends, he starts to open up to people. He still gets in a lot of trouble, honestly, but that's just him. I think his classmates find out about him being trans, of course, and not a lot of people are okay with that. He truly wants to fight them but he knows that if he keeps going like this he'll get expelled and he doesn't like the idea of leaving Sabo and Luffy alone ('doesn't like the idea' meaning he almost gets expelled and Sabo had to scold him and tell him that even though he has his own friends he doesn't know what he would do without him in school), so Luffy and Sabo are usually the one defending him a lot of the time since the teachers, even though they're chaotic, don't really hate them (because look at those cutie patooties how could you hate Luffy???? He gets along even with teachers). The Whitebeard pirates accept him with open arms and he finally feels he has a place to belong to. Newgate doesn't even offer to pay for the surgery, he just pays without telling him first because he knows Ace wouldn't have let him do it otherwise. He's so so grateful for them. And his brothers. And his friends. And everybody that has ever supported him. I think that he has lots of issues with depression and self-image and he often has a hard time when he acts impulsively, but Newgate always helps him. He grounds him. Gives him something to focus on. And Franky is soooo fun to be around. Newgate tells him to go see Franky and give him the money he owes him, and that's how they meet, basically. It's obvious he's trans because he goes shirtless all the time and scars are there and everything... And Ace just has to ask about his experience. Franky helps him gladly. And it's not only cathartic but also very comforting. He also meets Robin there!!!! Because married Frobin in this one. And I think Ace would absolutely love her because she keeps being oh so nice to him. She kind of reminds him of Makino, and it's extremely sweet. I think Ace now goes to help Franky from time to time when the Tattoo shop doesn't really need him there or, well, whenever he wants to because he also is extremely interested in bikes.

T4T Yamace my beloved.... Guys being guys. Dudes being dudes. I think they meet because Newgate tells Ace something about this man Kaido (leader of a gang) who owes him lots of money or something or did something very nasty to him yadda yadda Maybe they just have beef from when Newgate was into the gang stuff. And Ace keeps saying he should go and settle things with Kaido and beat him up for that, but Newgate is retired and he really, really doesn't give a single fuck about it. Lmao. Ace says he could take down Kaido himself. Newgate laughs. Ace is too proud. So he ends up looking for Kaido and fighting Yamato late at night in the street and,, Well. You know how it goes. They become daddy issues besties and turns out Yamato does not want to follow his dad's steps. Ace is curious about Yamato's experience because he doesn't seem to want to have surgery or anything, and they keep bonding over their pasts and family and Yamato ends up joining the friend group. And it's so cute. Newgate can see the kid is in love because every day he waits for Yamato to come pick him up to hang out. Or maybe he begs to get out earlier to go see Yamato. He keeps talking about Yamato,,, All the time. Even Sabo and Luffy are done with him. It's endearing.

Based my entire space marine army this friday/saturday. in total 86 marines I think I went for a light earthy color with some summer-ish flock on.

I was struggling for a long time with giving them a backstory.

Just had a chapter name(Abyssal Seals) and the idea that they were friends with seals.

Until around Christmas last year, I remembered that near my hometown in Greenland, there's a bay called the Monk Bay. So I based them on Greenland Inuit culture. Each marine has markings based off of Inuit tatoos to denote squad and veteran status. Each marine is psychically bonded with a seal at their initiation. The planets populace refer to them as piniartorsuit(the great hunters). And other little things that just makes them my guys.

oooooh ok so i felt like y'all might riot if i wrote another t&t snippet without actually updating the fic (the next chapter is in the works i swear)

so this prompt is still about obi-wan's terrible yet nutrient necessary dishes, only it's set in the fix-a-sith au. no worries if you haven't heard of it!!! it's only 3 posts lol but i thought about it when i read this prompt. basically, jedi treat force users falling to the dark side as a sickness that one can heal from if they have a firm connection to the Light side. So it's standard practice for a Jedi to marry a Fallen Jedi turned Sith in order to rehabilitate them. Jedi!Obi-Wan gets tapped to marry recently Fallen Jedi Watchman Anakin. They, of course, fall in love as well.

Obi-Wan’s new husband is, to put it lightly, terribly unenthusiastic to wear his last name. That had been the very first thing he’d said, actually, upon their meeting. He’d looked Obi-Wan up and down with Sith-sick yellow eyes and sneered. “I’m not taking your last name, Husband.”

Obi-Wan had smiled,  only half ruffled at the Fallen Jedi’s open hostility. “That’s alright,” he’d said pleasantly. “I can take yours. Obi-Wan Skywalker. What do you think?”

The Sith had fallen silent and still at that, but it was obvious in the Force how much base parts of him enjoyed putting his name on someone else. Sith, after all, were very possessive individuals. The Dark Side demanded it.

Of course, officially Anakin’s name was changed in the Temple registers to Anakin Kenobi. It’s a necessary part of the filing system, how they keep track of the married Siths, and the records provide a helpful start and end-date for each couple.

After all, it’s common practice to divorce once the Sith has been nursed back into the Light by their Jedi spouse. Why keep a live-in nurse when the patient is no longer suffering from an illness?

If, that is, the nurse survives the live-in part.

Obi-Wan isn’t quite sure he will.

He’d volunteered to be on the list of marriageable Jedi back when he was newly Knighted, on the same form where he agreed to be an organ donor. He hadn’t expected, as the years trickled by, to actually be called on to fulfill his promise. But then he’d received a missive, calling him back from the warfront: Jedi Watchman Anakin Skywalker had fallen to the Dark Side in the Tatoo system. He’d been sedated and brought back to the Temple, and the healers had decided that he needed a bonding and a marriage with someone pure and Light in order to have a chance at beating the illness of the Dark Side.

Obi-Wan supposes he should be flattered at being chosen for this. After all, Anakin Skywalker is a very, very powerful Force user. The Jedi Council’s certainty that he would be strong enough in the Light to bring him back is unexpected and honoring. That’s the word. He should feel honored.

Mostly he just feels a headache coming on.

No one told him that the fearsome Sith were really just overgrown younglings. He’d equated the marriage with nursing in his head. Wrong sort of nursing, apparently.

“You’re a terrible cook,” the Sith says from across the table. He’s lounging in his chair, chin tilted up and eyes half shut as he watches Obi-Wan move around the kitchen. “Horrifically inefficient. And I haven’t seen you touch a single spice. Will this be more bland slaw?”

Obi-Wan clenches his jaw slightly before releasing his irritation into the Force. There is no emotion, there is peace.

“Is this the Jedi plan? Bring me back to the Light by forcing me to eat unseasoned and overcooked chicken?”

Obi-Wan closes his eyes. There is no passion, there is serenity—”

“I might just, if it means I can put something with flavor into my mouth.”

Obi-Wan grabs the nearest available spice and dumps it into the pot.

“Do you take criticism, Jedi?” The Sith asks. Are all Sith so very obnoxious, or is Anakin Skywalker just special?

“Far better than you, I imagine,” Obi-Wan is saying before he can stop himself.

The Force grows colder around them, but Obi-Wan will not give the man the pleasure of seeing his face and whatever emotion is on it right now. He does not turn around.

“What was that?” Skywalker asks, sounding curious. Deceptively curious. “I don’t think I heard you right.

“Perhaps the Dark Side is affecting your hearing,” Obi-Wan replies lightly. The chair scrapes as Skywalker gets to his feet. Obi-Wan refuses to turn around, even now. He is being idiotic. There is a viper, a Sith, behind him, who could strike at any moment, and he is putting his pride first.

This is probably how the Jedi who have died trying to rehabilitate their Siths lost their lives.

“What do you have to criticize me about?” Skywalker is suddenly much closer. His hands fall onto his hips and squeeze.

Obi-Wan says the first thing that comes to mind, which feels like a mistake immediately. “You’re a terrible kisser.”

If possible, Skywalker’s hands tighten. “I am not.”

“Oh, but you are,” Obi-Wan disagrees, thinking back to the one and only kiss they’d shared. The Sith had requested it, probably wanting to see how much bullshit Obi-Wan would tolerate from him. Obi-Wan had kissed him, mostly to prove that he could tolerate a lot. “Much too wet.”

Skywalker snarls behind him and forces him to turn around. His eyes are bright yellow and burning orange, like two suns staring into his soul. The bond between them, sickly and weak as all beginning bonds between Jedi and Sith are, twitches and comes alive. “I’m not a bad kisser.”

“I’ve had better,” Obi-Wan replies, wetting his lips for reasons unknown, even to himself. 

His husband snarls at him. He is quite handsome, Obi-Wan supposes, what with his tan and his square jaw and his soft lips. And his hair is nice as well, blond curls that cascade down his head to hit at his shoulders. He must have been able to pull anyone he wanted in the entire Tatoo system.

Too bad he ended up Fallen and married to an old and washed up Jedi.

“Don’t worry, darling,” Obi-Wan murmurs, reaching out a hand to rest on Skywalker’s cheek. “Perhaps kissing with skill is something no Darksider can do. You’re the only Sith I’ve ever kissed, but I suppose I can do my own research if you would like?”

The Force grows oppressively heavy around them and Skywalker’s hands graduate from his hips to the small of his back. One sneaks up to latch around the back of his neck. “You wear my name,” he growls. “You’re mine.”

There’s the possesssiveness of the Sith. 

Obi-Wan studies the lines of his face curiously. “I didn’t think you liked me much,” he replies cautiously.  “Why should you care?” “You’re mine,” his husband repeats, bringing their foreheads together. Obi-Wan tenses, but the Sith doesn’t seem to have any further designs. He just breathes against his face as the Force twists and turns around them.

Carefully, Obi-Wan reaches out across the bond. He thinks this could probably be a teaching moment, but he doesn’t exactly know where to begin. The idea of telling the Sith currently clinging to his front to give these pesky, negative emotions to the Force feels trite and useless and probably how at least one Jedi has died.

“Yes,” he says instead as he lets his Force signature twine and tangle with his husband’s. “I did take on certain vows when I married you. One of them was to not kiss another, no matter how terribly my husband kisses me.”

“Let me try again,” Skywalker requests lowly. Obi-Wan blinks.

“Pardon?”

“Let me show you how good I can be. For you. Because you’re mine.”

Obi-Wan pauses. Obi-Wan processes. Obi-Wan deflects.

Because—it’s an unspoken rule, really. One may marry a Sith in order to rehabilitate them back into the life of a Jedi, but one should never ever take advantage of them by touching them…carnally. They’re sick. They’re not in their right minds. To sleep with a Sith would be to use them without their proper consent.

It’s very, very hard to remember that when there is a very attractive Sith rubbing up and down his front, practically begging for his touch. Obi-Wan could show him how to kiss. Obi-Wan could show him a lot of things.

No. That must be the dark side’s influence. There have been cases where Jedi married to a Sith have Fallen as well, so contagious was the illness. Obi-Wan cannot slip. The Council has entrusted him with the care and keeping of Anakin Skywalker. He cannot fail.

“But dinner’s ready, darling,” he murmurs, carefully tilting his head away. When he still feels the compulsion to grab Anakin by his curls and kiss him senseless, he forces himself to turn around in the man’s grip and pick up the spoon he’d been stirring the food with. Picking up a small piece of vegetable, he turns back around and offers it wordlessly to his husband.

Without breaking eye contact, the Sith leans down and bites the food before carefully licking the spoon clean. After a second to chew and swallow, Anakin raises his head and tilts it slightly to the side. “What’s that? The flavor? It’s new. Different from your other awful dishes.”

Obi-Wan’s dishes are simply and carefully made to give the consumer precisely the amount of nutrition one needs for a day’s activities and to keep one healthy and filled. Obi-Wan does not say this though. Who knows what his husband would respond with?

“Love,” he says instead, because he knows it’ll make his husband shiver and go hazy in the Force. “It’s made with love.”

I think the bonds making both parties stronger/smarter is really cool! A mutual benefit.

I think that its more a neuteral magic thats not a specific branch. I mean branches have a trunk a trunk has roots. I think its more of a unrefined clunky trunk type of magic than the branches are bc its a linking of souls a linking of magics which reach beyond their branch. Im thinking bonding with creatures has been around for a WHILE I mean the solacion ruins are a thing. 'Life touches Life to Create Something New and Alive' and That predates the clans I think. So bonds might predate the life manipulation magic branch or something.

I do think the life manipulation mages do it more tho! Its just a tendency and they form them better (I think it should be VERY hard to unconsentually do a bond like that, its is a matter of Souls after all. maybe it requires some form of divine, maybe for mortals to do it they need a divine instrument of some sort *looks at the orbs the clans have guarded for years that Irida has access to*) Tho a life manipulation mage could Absolutely block someones magic that sounds cool and its fitting but poor Ingo.

oh i really like the idea that these bonds are like, a primal thing, magic agnostic, similarly to akari's powers. i do feel like this veers towards making pokemon a central part of the world again but i'm not actually averse to it in this way? since like, the wardens are gonna be here no matter what lol so bonding with animal companions is gonna Have to be here as a thing no matter what. (also this suggests to me that akari should have some sort of special familiar. creation starters v2?)

oooooh also at the idea that it's a specifically divine thing. which for the draconids would probably be via meteorite or mega stones? and would mean it could only be done by the lorekeeper and other high-ranking individuals, which is very fitting for their societal structure and the control they have over the swordguards. meanwhile for the clans it would be irida and adaman. it fits really well! also Yikes at the maybe-implication that somebody could steal the adamant/lustrous and use them to force a soulbond.

re: ingo's companions... hmm. i'm not really sure if the twins would even have the full teams that they have in canon, in this world? if soulbonding is such a special divine thing, it feels like maybe they would only have their aces, or something. + the fact that they can fight primarily with their own magic & so a big group of familiars isn't necessarily needed. orrr maybe they have pokemon companions, but only chandelure and eelektross are properly soulbound? with the rest being support/companions that help them with whatever their job is, but not to the same degree of intensity as a soulbond is. which i guess answers the second question: at most ingo would have access to chandelure, he'd have absolutely no way to contact the rest.

...hmmm... but then you've also got the fact that chandelure is sort of a partner to both ingo and emmet in their subway teams, so i sort of lean towards the idea that she's still with emmet, and can maybe sense her soulbond's location, but can't reach him. so then emmet's stuck deciding between going on a road trip with chandelure to try and chase him down, or staying and trying to actually do their jobs. maybe he sends chandelure by herself or with another companion to find him, bc he can't leave himself.

...alternately to all of this: whatever happened to ingo also snapped the soulbond he had with all his companions, which is also why irida didn't find any of them when she did her own warden-noble bonding on him. which would also mean that not only would they not really be able to track ingo, emmet and chandelure wouldn't even know if he was stil alive. what if the soulbond broke because he died?

She's a french-Moroccan 27 years old girl who never really had time to focus on herself. She has one Big brother and one little brother with who she has a bad relationship but still a deep attachment. Little brother got kicked out of the family house after a very nasty argument that lead to her trying to get over it and erase what could be left of their relationship. Her father passed out when she was in High school which motivated her to work hard to do what he wished for her, a great career in either law or economics. She was great with numbers and even managed to graduate with honors. Sadly it turns out that once school was over, she realized that she had 0 interest in finances or the economic field in itself. Regardless of her appreciation, she still managed to get into a good well-paid job that was killing her little by little. She deeply hates it, every day is more draining than the last, her social life is in negative and more the time pass, more she becomes a shell of a person. To avoid the reality of harsh days, when she can, she hangs out online, on forums, blogs, novels, and webcomics, this is how she started her passion for Blooming panic and one day received a mysterious link to a discord server.

Groupie Love — The POV is dating a guitarist, he's playing in a bar and having fun doing what he likes, and she's in the crowd admiring him being himself. She knows that everytime he looks up (in my interpretation maybe dancing or feeling the music) he's thinking about her, and he's her 'groupie love'. She loves listening to him, because she knows he's doing it just for her and not for everybody cheering him in the crowd. It fits better in a rockstar!au, but I like to think about the small Corroded Coffin at the Hideout with their five drunk fans (and Eddie's girlfriend obviously)

West Coast — I know she's talking about she and her metal biker black leather jacket boyfriend in a beach, but for me my scenario is more important ok???(lol) Apart from the beach, she's dating a musician (yes, again, metal, jacket, etc) and it's not talking specifically about a subject or a discussion, she's just using her words to make us imagine a scenario: she loves her boyfriend, watch him dancing and dances with him, describes that he's crazy and apparently smokes with her because she says "cubano" and maybe it's not about Cuba but actually a brand of cigarettes. And she also says that "you got the music in you, don't you?". Which means yes, he's definitely a musician.

Florida Kilos — "white lines, pretty baby, tatoos; don't know what they mean, they're special just for you". The whole song she's talking about using drugs with her boyfriend. That's it, these are the lyrics. She also says that she's not afraid of going to prision if he's at her side lol (personally I don't like this one that much but maybe some of you will, idk)

Sad Girl — I know I KNOW GUYS this song talks about being in love with someone who just uses you and go sleep with other women, i know and i'm sorry, but it's here because of these lyrics: "but you haven't seen my man, you haven't seen him; He's got the fire and he talks with it, he's got the fire and he walks with it" just win in it for me i'm sorry guys i'm too weak

Pretty When I Cry — let's be real it's just because of the guitar I'M SORRY GUYS I CAN'T HELP MYSELF I THINK ABOUT THIS MAN 24/7 (the whole ultraviolence tho,,, man just look at these aesthetics, they are just so 💋🤌 dating eddie (except for the toxic parts (they're in most of the album)))

Guns And Roses — again Lana it's talking about her boyfriend, and this song got into this list since the first sentence: "heavy metal love of mine,...". I think that the only incorrect parts here is that Eddie wouldn't like Guns N Roses because he's more into thrash metal than glam metal, and historically these two don't get along very well, also Eddie is not a biker but whatever. If it's Lana's metal boyfriend scenario then i'm here for it (and she also says this: "cause he was so much better than the rest of them, out of all the others he was the honest man" and i'm like 'his friends right???? Hellfire?? Corroded Coffin???? He's different from them cause he's special for you, it's ur love honey 💋)) ok i'll stop, im getting too far and humiliating myself at this point

Backfire — she's living in a trailer park with her boyfriend, they fight a lot but she's still madly in love with him (and again is a black leather type of guy, cause she calls him "my mafiosi rock n' roll high" lol). He's doing some illegal things she doesn't talk about in the song, and the cops are constanly trying to search their trailer, asking them to come outside. She already told him to stop with that thing, but he doesn't seem to listen, and she is very sad about that because she wanted to have a normal life with the man she loves. Apparently there's no other option, she loves him and thought she could change him 'like the others'(her words), but doesn't know how. She keeps telling him that this thing is gonna "backfire' someday, but he doesn't listen. He says that "it's not something he choose, the trouble follows him and it's been like that since the day he begin."

Prom Song/Teenage Wasteland — AHHHH THIS ONE IS SO HAPPY FINALLY SOMETHING CUTE *crying*// Lana is living an american school girl life, with prom, prom queen, studing, seeing him in the school hall, him walking her home while holding her hand, saying "be my valentine". She describes him as the brightest star she had ever seen, and it's so happy now. They kiss while watching television until the sunrise, she literally says "you see me in the hall like "hello, hello", up against the wall like "let's go, let's go". And it's so cheesy omg it remembers me of those movies, like 10 things i hate about you or breakfast club, just like, like cmon it's perfect for our Eddie Munson high school dating scenario guys, it's so cute. I forgot to mention, but they look like they just finished/are finishing high school, and everything she wants to do is getting out of this town, running away with him. "Let me get you out of this town, let me do it right now baby, dancing till dark staying forever young; let's get out of this place, cause you're starting to waste within this teenage wasteland". Do you guys remember that in the sinposis of the book that hasn't even released yet (lol flight of icarus) Eddie said that all he wanted to do is run away from Hawkins? This song is like "hey, like, we just finished our dream high school, this town is full of shallow people, do you wanna run away with me?" LIKE GUYS CMONNNN ARRGHHRH IT'S PERFECT FOR OUR LITTLE FANFICS (it has the same vibes from miss americana and the heartbreak prince by Taylor Swift, but even cheesier and happier, i love this song).

Yes To Heaven — it's just cute and i love the instrumental, sound like a 90's romance movie ((let me be))

TV in Black And White —NABSBDBDB i'm so sorry for this one but this fits so well. Lana is, like in the last song, singing in a very cheesy way. With her tone I can almost see in front of my eyes Lana like one of those ladies wearing pink inside of an all vintage pink house, and in the song she's crying to herself, but it's because her boyfriend got arrasted LMAOOO i'm sorry but it's so sad listening to her sing "i won't tell a single soul how you spend your nights, in that single cell, holding your pillow tight *crying*" like GIRRLLLL HE JUST GOT ARRESTED HE'S NO BABYGIRL STOP HANSBSHSBB omg i hate how this fits so much and it's so funny, poor eddie

Overall Eddie is always on my mind so sometimes I see things that don't exist lol. I tried to mention the most obvious ones, but I see him in almost every Lana song because she creates a vintage vibe and she has this big crush in rock n roll type of guys, loving to write songs about them, even when she's talking about a sad subject like in Ultraviolence (domestical abuse) or Black Beauty (depressed partner).
