Out of the Diaboys and Yui, who do you think would be the best at keeping a secret?

// I get the impression that all of them would be really bad at that, but I’ll try to elaborate why. 😭😭

Yui: She would definitely try to keep the secret, but I’m 100% sure she would fail that task. She talks a lot without thinking and I feel like she’s the type of person who’d be happy to be trusted, yet she’d randomly spill the secret then be like: “I’m so sorry *inserts name*! I can’t believe I did that… but I just couldn’t hold it anymore!”, or admit it out loud to everyone before realizing what she had done.

Ayato: I feel like he would try to keep a secret but most likely wouldn’t succeed. He’d start showing off, saying stuff like “I know something about her that YOU guys don’t!” or “Exactly! She only told ME her secret!”, and he would boast about it so much that he would accidently spill it, lol.

Kanato: Honestly, I don’t think he’d care. He’d either gaslight me about it or my secret would be revealed because “Teddy” couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

Laito: Why would anyone tell him a secret to begin with??

Shu: Either wouldn’t care about my secret or threaten to reveal it if I don’t quit bothering him.

Reiji: Out of all Sakamakis, he’d be the best secret keeper. Although, a part of me thinks that he would spill it, if I don’t do the things he’d want me to do.

Subaru: He’d act like he doesn’t care, however he would actually try to keep the secret. Subaru doesn’t talk a lot but, if someone provoked or teased him about it, he would surely reveal it without intending to.

Ruki: Perhaps he would be good at it, but if my secret is beneficial to him, I’m convinced he’d betray me.

Kou: If he cares about someone, I doubt he’d act two-faced about that. Nevertheless, I guess we can all agree that this guy is the type who LOVES gossiping, so I don’t think my secret would be safe.

Yuma: Probably the best at keeping secrets in the Mukami household, until his brain decides to shut down while he's speaking, in which case the secret would be revealed.

Azusa: It goes without saying that he would try to keep a secret but based on THAT LE scene, which created a whole misunderstanding, he’s definitely not very good at it.

Carla: He doesn't seem like a person to divulge secrets readily, but if I disobey, just like with Shu, he might threaten to do so.

Shin: Unpopular opinion but I believe he’d try to keep it. He would probably be glad that I only told him the secret, yet would start overthinking whether or not Carla knows about it too, which would end up with him spilling it to his brother.

Kino: NO! I wouldn’t tell Kino any secret.

kanato cl endings!! this is my new favorite kanato route!! and for once, I think the good ending is more satisfying than the bad one lol

euphoria end:

in the church, kanato concludes that he just can’t ignore the sakamaki brothers. he has all kinds of feelings for them, including jealousy and contempt, and because of that, he won’t be able to part with them easily. (thats the most backwards way to say you love them I’ve ever heard, but I’ll take it!! good job, kanato!!) but outside, the scarlet and violet families are arguing over who gets to go inside and steal eve. ayato and laito are standing guard, and even though they’re SO outnumbered, ayato declares that they’ve got no choice but to stop em. and laito says it’s for his oniichan’s sake ^^

kanato… [wiping tears] …wants to go save ayato and laito. he can’t leave them, because they’re brothers who have been together since before they were born.

before he goes, he and yui stand at the altar and yui comments that it feels like a wedding, but kanato refutes that they can’t possibly have a wedding without wedding cake. they have a ring, though! because kanato bit yui’s ring finger earlier and it left a scar. so, because it might be their last time, they exchange vows and kiss.

…which is, of course, the key to leaving this place. everything goes white and they’re back in the real world. yui thinks ayato and laito are dead for a sec, but theyre just snoozin. karl heinz shows up, explains the whole thing, and gives kanato a pat on the back and tells him it’s time to inherit his powers.

kanato says, no way!! I won’t be king. I once thought that I didn’t care about those other guys, but I’ve just realized I have all these complicated feelings about them, and I don’t know what I’ll do if those guys are gone. so I won’t be all alone like you, father.

karl heinz is like “lmao…I’ll give u a little more time” and he disappears. time to go home. kanato jokes that they can leave ayato and the others behind, but he’s not serious >_> so they get to work waking em up. kanato says that he never thought such a day would come, but he misses how noisy the sakamaki house is. (awwww…!!)

back at the sakamaki house, the triplets + yui are studying together for a makeup exam. ayato and laito start goofing off after ten minutes, but kanato is SERIOUS because reiji hid all his sweets so he NEEDS to pass. he kicks his brothers out so he can focus, then grumbles that he should’ve left them at the miniature garden (LMAO) but yui’s like “aww, you’re totally having fun.” they make out and kanato says he loves her no matter where they are, and all’s well that ends well!! good for them!

labyrinth end:

yui confidently tells kanato she’ll trust whatever his decision is, and he’s like “okay. I want to murder everyone.” yui is all UMMM anything but that, please??? but he’s not listening. he sucks her blood till she loses consciousness

it suddenly cuts to carla whipping ruki and shin till they pass out, which is awesome but very unexpected. it’s the first we’ve seen them since they got captured lol. subaru arrives to tell carla that eve is at the church, so off we go!!

at the church, ayato and laito have gotten their asses severely kicked by scarlet fam. yuma also collapses and shu’s like “yuma….!” which is enough otp crumbs to keep me fed all week, thank you very much. carla arrives on the scene and starts shittalking with reiji, but then…!!

………..when yui wakes up, she sees kanato is covered in blood and she’s like “oh god we have to treat ur injuries!” and of course kanato’s like “dont worry, it’s not my blood ^^” he happily tells her that he’s almost finished taking care of things here, and he continues his unspeakable violence. he’s killed everyone and they’re the only ones left. he hugs her, and the blood he’s covered with is still warm.

well it doesn’t work; they don’t go home. (not that this would work anyway, but aren’t ruki and shin still alive in the violet dungeon? am I wrong…? did carla kill them? whatever.) yui faints and can’t speak, so kanato moves her around like a doll. they’ll live forever in this world, then, just the two of them. it’ll be awfully quiet.

back in the real world, karl heinz is like “my friend. did u get my sons killed” and socrates is like “sowwy :( I just didnt think it was worth it to lose my best friend to some immature adam.” karl heinz says it’s ok, and socrates suggests reversing time. karl heinz is like sure, yeah, let’s reverse time and have them try again. (EXCUSE ME???? EXCUSE ME????????????? COULD U DO THAT THIS WHOLE TIME. THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING) so I guess they, uh, reverse time and try again????.?.??

so i let the hyperfixation win.

over the past several hours i rewatched Sword Art Online and SAO 2.

(this time dubbed, last time i watched it subbed)

here are my thoughts:

-anyone who said the dub was bad is just wrong. Kirito's VA really shines in the more comedic or sweet moments (like when first meeting Yui), he reminds me of like a Peter Parker. and oh my lord, the breakdown by Suguha's VA was just a masterpiece. Still have chills from watching it.

-i have such a big appreciation for every character. This time it really shined through how good of characters Kirito, Asuna, and Suguha actually are.

Kirito's internal conflict throughout SAO2 is so good, grappling with their actions they needed to take in SAO to survive. and throughout all of it you can tell how much they truly loves their friends and family, and how kind hearted they really are. Asuna definitely fits into that role as well, being so ready to take care of Yui and so desperately wanting her to be safe and loved and cared for.

And oh my gosh Suguha. I remember people absolutely hated her arc because it is problematic, but the fact is, it's played entirely serious, her feelings arent taken as a joke. She has a genuine and real internal struggle for feeling things she feels she shouldnt, and how she feels those feelings arent reciprocated or cant be reciprocated, and having her heart broken twice by someone who she loves and someone who also does still genuinely love her. Its absolutely heartbreaking to watch.

Man, Sinon is still fantastic. She's still my absolute favorite, and I think she is one of the best characters in the show, and pretty much steals the show from her introduction. Her arc ties in so seamlessly with Kirito's and how they help eachother heal and grow is fantastic. Only complaint is we never got a scene of the rest of the Gals being jealous about the grenade hug she gave Kirito. After Kirito and Sinon nearly died, wouldve been some nice relief so you didnt feel like you yourself were dying.

-Speaking of, while there was definitely a ton of fanservice, the pseudo-harem aspect with the jokes were kinda cute, between characters seeing flirting happen around them, getting embarassed over it, its fun. Especially when people got jealous of Sinon flirting with Kirito over Excalibur. That part was very fun, since they did that infront of everyone else, almost like they were trying to get a rise out of them. Theyre not exactly the pinnacle of comedy, its definitely a trope, but theres something nostalgic about it that makes it kinda enjoyable.

-Speaking of the psuedo-harem, guys if all of you are constantly flirting with eachother (not just Kirito surprisingly, happens between the other girls frequently) and jealous of any affection with that, just start a polycule. You're a group of gamer girls playing MMOs together and all of you have slept in the same bed with eachother. Stop snipping at eachother and start dating eachother. Polyamory is pretty cool. Kirito and Asuna can still be the main duo and be the parents to Yui and Strea; but yall gotta work on the jealousy or just do what every other group of girl gamers does, polyamory. Lisbeth you should not be angrily drinking while watching Kirito and Asuna talk. (this is mostly a joke, im not actually saying they *have* to do a polycule, its more of a joke because of how tropey a lot of the flirting and jealousy is, and yknow, gay girls do polyamory, so dont take this part toooooo seriously.)

-Speaking of girls dating girls, the LGBT rep aint half bad. Argo canonically using both male and female pronouns is really cool! Most of the girls flirt with eachother a lot too, which is nice. Between the female avatar, the willingness to pretend to be a girl, the introversion, the desire to be an avatar in a virtual world more than irl, Kirito might be transgender. All good stuff here.

Overall, SAO is honestly way better than I remembered, even if some parts definitely show its age. You gotta piece it together a little bit with headcanons, but i do that with every show, nothing is perfect. Except Sinon. And a world where trans Kirito is canon. Those are perfect.

•Her full name is Lillian Ezra , she just prefer to be called Ezra. However this has cause her to get some nicknames like, Ezzy , Ezria , Lil Ez ,ect.

All lovingly gifted from Laito and it ticks her off every time.

•Academically she’s really smart but socially? She tries her best.

•She’s bad at picking up signs, like you could flirt with her like crazy and she would be so oblivious. Causing interesting interactions with her and Laito.

•Her love language is quality time. It doesn’t matter what you guys around doing. For example, Kyoko needed to finish of art assignments, Ezra would sit in the same room either reading , catching up on work or if Kyo wants , just talk shit. Would Sit with Quinn if Quinn wants to have a smoke on the roof, sometimes Ezra would have a smoke too.

•she’s terrible with words of affirmation, if you’ve done something successful or you’re proud of something she’ll give you nice smile or a hug(depends) and prey you know that she’s happy for you. Or you’ll get a “nice :)”. She’s trying y’all.

•can’t take compliments. Like she won’t deny anything but if you compliment her she’ll just look at you , wide eye having no clue on what to say and by the end you’ll get a “…thank you”

•Not a fan of PDA. Like her love language is explicit enough for the public eye. And cause she’s nervous when it comes to that stuff.

She loves spiders. Literally loves them. One time in school Quinn was SCREAMING and Ezra ran into the class where Quinn was sitting alone just to see Quinn standing on the table pointing at a very big and long legged spider.

Ezra seen it and was in aw. “Awww pretty little thing ain’t it?” “Ezra fucking kill it!”

Ezra (a vampire who’s killed and ate many vampires) looked at Quinn confused and sad “why would I do that it’s done nothing to you Quinny?”. So Ezra picked it up and brought it outside.

The poor lassie has the worst case of a resting bitch face but she is really nice.(mostly)

She’ll literally be a good day then someone would say “hey Lillian are you okie? You don’t look good” “…I’m fine?”

•Laito is obviously aware of this factor because you can’t get Jack shit past him and he literally teases her like it’s a 6 figure job while Yui doesn’t know(sweet sweet girl)

•Her and Reiji are similar in personality however Ezra ego is smaller and isn’t much of a perfectionist.

•She is fluent in French.(small headcannon all three tripelts are fluent in French cause of Cordelia and these wee fucks would purposefully plot shit in French because Reiji can’t understand them)

•This prompted Reiji to pay Ezra to spy on them since they were unaware at first. They were so confused on how Reiji knew but they finally clicked this started when Ezra arrived so Laito went up to Ezra whispered to her in French “we know what you did”.

•Ezra went straight to Reiji and this is how the conversation basically went

•She has given one of Kous fan girls a black eye due to the girl given Yui unnecessarily shit. She then threatened the life of said fan girl plus the girls friends and family if the bitch ever snitched on Ezra and the girl later on apologised to Yui. The girl always flinches around Ezra now.

•Kou was gonna ask Ezra about it but he had a photoshoot the next day and couldn’t risk a black eye.(cunt)

As far as I know, you like Yandere's ships very much, that's why you say you like all of Yui x diaboys ships. But one question, is there another ship outside the fandom of DL that you enjoy as much as you enjoy Yui x Diaboys?

This is a random question. But yes. I should tell you something about myself. I'm a big shipper person and I love making ships with my favorite characters. Specially a girl with a lot of boys. 😅 Specially when a girl can make a boy fell for her so much and smile from the bottom of his heart. When a boy is a moody guy or doesn't believe in love then suddenly a girl completely change him. I love these kinda ships in movies, anime and animation.

I really enjoy dl fandom and Yui x Diaboys ships and these will be always my first forever.

But outside of the DL fandom, there is one ship that I have been in love with since I was 12 years old and still am.

Poppy x Branch ( Trolls movie DreamWorks )

This ship has a big and special place in my heart and I will tell you why. But if you didn't watch the movie don't read my explanation. It contains ⚠️ spoilers ⚠️.

1_ Do you remember I said before that I love ships when a moody boy falls in love with a cute girl. With a simple look at this ship, we realize that it is very similar to Rukiyui ship.

Pink, cute, kind and cherish girl with gray, moody, blue guy. Gosh they are so similar.

2_ The story of Ruki and Branch is somewhat similar. Both of them suffer from a trauma and because of their bitter memories, they avoid something that makes them happy. Ruki's trauma made him stop believing in love and Branch's trauma made him stop being happy and singing. Until suddenly girls entered the life of these two people and changed their rigid belief.

3_ But what is interesting to me about the relationship between Branch and Poppy is that Branch has been in love with Poppy since his childhood and even sang a song for her, but he was never able to express this love to her. The reason can be fear. Branch was afraid of losing another loved one like his grandma. Or at least since Poppy was with Creek, he preferred to see her happy.

4_ Even though he was hiding his feelings, he expressed his interest in her several times unintentionally and without realizing it.

5_ And at the end, Branch realized that there is happiness in him too, and Poppy awakened this happiness. He sang again for Poppy to see her true colors and smile again.

He said to her I wanna see your true colors and that's why I love you. Me as a 12 girl that time: 💘💘💘🥺🥺🥺💗💗💗💞💞💞🥲🥲🥲

I can't tell you how much I love this scene when Branch and Poppy danced together beautifully and sang "true colors" song. The voices of their voice actors were great. I fell in love with Justin Timberlake's beautiful voice.

In the end, I want to say that even though I got to know the story of trolls before DL, but looking at Ruki and Yui reminds me of Branch and Poppy. Their relationship is somewhat similar. Different boys and girls who complete each other. I can't wait for the trolls 3.

I got a liiiiiittle confused on how I wanted to answer this (considering I did post the third part of the twitter au xmas based on @azusamarryme idea of there being a reveal to azusa and shin dating which i love them for that idea so THANKS LOL) so here's what I'll do for this: I'll put the top five diaboys who WOULD spy on this azushin date and how they feel (if they are yay or nay and why) and how they spy//how did they find this out (I am not sure if this is what you wanted so I do apologize!!)

5) Shu

This is a little stupid but to be honest, I think Shu and Azusa fairly get along, they aren't like best friends or friends in general, but he's alright with him. As for a relation between Shu and Shin, he finds him annoying, so the reaction he has when the words of them dating (Azusa and Shin) gets around, he honestly could care less

He isn't yay and he isn't nay about it, Shu is neutral

The way Shu found this out was through media, mostly through Laito and Kou.

Does Shu really spy on Azusa and Shin on their date? No, not really, he might show up to the place by himself and sit afar to get a good vision, but he might fall asleep if he's bored

4) Ayato AND Laito (Duo thing baby)

Ayato HATES Shin but they do get along with minor things (drugs, im sorry, both of them smoke and get high so that is there hobby, you are free to leave LMAO) Ayato's relation with Azusa is nothing much, Azusa will bother Ayato to beat him and shit and Ayato gets weirded out, that's all

Laito actually likes Azusa, he'll flirt with the kid to be a tease and Yuma holds his urge not to put Laito six feet under with Hades. He isn't very fond of Shin but does make dirty jokes with him which sails poorly

Ayato is not yay or nay, he's nosy and that is clear as DAY

Laito is yay about this, he thinks it's a very...Odd yet interesting pair to see a Mukami with a Tsukinami, so he'll support it anyways!

Both Ayato and Laito hear about this rumor through media and it's Ayato's idea to go full ninja to see this Azushin date for himself, dragging Laito with him (They're both not very sneaky and suspicion rises when they try to spy left alone)

3) Ruki

Of course, Azusa and Ruki have a strong bond, they're brothers, they've been through the trauma, AMAZING BOND! Ruki and Shin don't even talk to one another a lot, so it's a very dull and shallow relation socially

This...This is a shock, he doesn't believe for a minute UNTIL Azusa himself says he's going out, so Ruki doesn't even know HIMSELF if he wants to support this or not, it is Shin and he is the First Blood. He leans more to the nay because he wants his youngest brother safe, Shin is a powerful guy (we've seen the games or played them i'm sure) and Ruki knows what Shin is capable of. If it makes Azusa happy, he will try his best to support them

Kou comes SCREAMING about this when he finds out and this is how Ruki catches onto the rumor

He doesn't dare to eavesdrop, that isn't his style, he let's someone else do it for him (whether that may be one of his other brothers or even sending Yui to do it herself)

2) Kou

Yes...Kou is second in this, him and Azusa have a WICKED good bond! They'll do things together and if anything, Azusa likes to be around Kou the most in school (this is just my own idea) Kou and Shin don't clash but they don't mix into a good paste of being friends, Kou likes to tease Shin and Shin does it back, it's nothing huge

YAY, YAY, YAY ALL THE FUCKING WAY- KOU IS SO HAPPY THAT AZUSA IS GOING ON A DATE, HE SUPPORTS IT! He was a little nay when Azusa only tells him it was a date with Shin, he has the big brother instinct and, sam as Ruki, is a bit unsettled with it being a Founder, but he hardly cares

Kou finds out by Azusa telling him (the bby had no one else to go to who would really understand) and Kou is actually the whole damn start over the media posting about this event, HE WAS SIKED FOR HIS BROTHER

He does eavesdrop BUT from afar, he keeps his distance, Ruki told him not to but he wasn't in much control because it's Kou (he wouldn't really listen)

1) Carla

Carla and Azusa do not have a bond socially, Carla sometimes is scared of Azusa based on his masochist behavior but that subides easily. Carla and Shin, obviously, are close, they aren't tight like normal brothers, but they do care for each other as the last Founders alive

What? Azusa and Shin have a date? This was a joke to Carla, it really was, he didn't believe this line of shit fo a SECOND on the media. He started to believe when Shin said he was going out for plans he made, THAT was the kicker for him. It's a huge, FAT NAY for Carla, for a Founder to be in love and go on a date with a vampire made him sick, of course he was against it- it ruins the overall plan to bring up the bloodline again and the whole population that once succumbed

It's a bit different than what I'm used to, but fun to think about! A happy snapshot where things turned out a bit better...

-It wasn't necessarily a surprise, but Sol and Asuka did panic a little at first. Mostly because, well, Aria's always been a bit sickly, and she's so small, is that really safe for her?

-It's a sentiment that sticks around for quite a while, even if they're less obviously vocal about it. They're hovering over her constantly to make sure she doesn't strain herself in any possible way. It's charming for like a week and then after that Aria has to constantly tell them off about it until the concept sinks in

-Once they're sure that they're all committed to it Sol's immediate next question is if they can name the baby after a Queen song, or just anything to do with his favorite band

-He comes up with a long list of names that only gets longer and more tangential as he keeps getting turned down (if it's a boy, maybe Roger, or Deacon, Oscar, Romeo, William, Saul, Izzy? If it's a girl, then either Tiffany, Dorothy, or Delilah)

-Meanwhile, Aria would really prefer something cuter, maybe flowery-sounding. Asuka has no real preference, although if Aria's doing the heavy lifting, no pun intended, then he thinks she should get most of the say...and secretly he really doesn't want to go with names like William or Dorothy, he finds them pretentious (besides, who's to say they might not have more later?)

-They ultimately come to a group agreement, Aria picks a name she likes that Sol can make a reference out of, and Asuka picks the middle name so he has some sort of contribution (he goes with the name of his maternal grandmother. He has no intention to honor either of his own parents). The full name they go with is Daisy Yui Hale(-Bulsara-Kreutz), and Sol can nickname her 'Dizzy.'

-None of them came from a very good family, and fret about their lack of real experience with good parental figures, but Asuka in specific is terrified he's going to end up like his parents and end up being neglectful or drunk

-Asuka is very by-the-book in terms of his caretaking, he's more confident if he has tangible instructions to follow. Sol is much better at the 'emergency ice cream, pickles and five-alarm chili grocery runs' part. If anything, they actually compliment each other nicely, although they sometimes bicker about whose approach is best.

-Any calming down the guys have done over the last few months is immediately out the window once it comes to the part where they actually have the damn kid, Asuka's hyperventilating in the backseat with a paper bag, and he's not even the one doing the hard part. Aria's actually pretty calm about the whole thing.

-Little Dizzy makes for the most adorable little thing ever (although I suppose everyone says that about their babies) but good lord, are all babies that tiny? They are? Man, it's weird to see that firsthand

-(Aria's secretly glad she has two extra pairs of hands, they can take turns while she can sleep)

-For all their worries the guys take to it pretty naturally, Asuka has been sitting in the corner cooing over the baby in his arms for twenty minutes before he even realizes he's doing it

-Taking care of a kid is still a lot of work, of course, but they got very lucky, Dizzy's pretty much the calmest baby they've ever met, and very curious (Aria jokes that by the time she's five, she'll have figured out how to build a rocket)

-Even if his naming plans were thwarted, Sol still intends to impart his music tastes on Dizzy early. He got a baby mobile covered in forest animals for her nursery and jerry-rigged it to play music-box renditions of classic rock songs (he originally planned on just using the regular songs, but Aria and Asuka argued it wouldn't be relaxing. He vehemently disagrees, but they compromised)

Speaking of the anime’s designs, I’m not trying to sound like a bitch because I genuinely love your blog but I just feel like they did Yui so dirty in the game, comparing to her anime version. She’s a sweetheart and cute too but am I the only one who feels they got very lazy when drawing her cgs? She just looks very basic in most of them and I feel so weird because she’s so pretty in fanarts/ edits but in the game her design looks less captivating than there or in the anime. I saw a lot people complaining about the guys being drawn badly in the new official arts but I’m here just wishing they put more effort in the MC too…😭💔

One of my favorite things about this ship is that it reveals that Yuma has a Type and he's really into blondes. It feels so good & true to me.

The way they get together, in my head, is that Shu and Yui get together around HDB. And Shu definitely loves her, but there's always this anxiety hanging over him, like "I've loved a human before and he died, and I can never forget this as long as I live. Will Yui die too??"

BUT THEN!!!! YUMA SHOWS UP!!!!! Shu's first love did NOT die, and then Yui gets kidnapped by the Mukamis and experiences a bunch of stuff with Yuma too. So to say things get complicated is an understatement; Shu and Yui are in a relationship but now there's this guy that they both, separately, like. I'm sure misunderstandings ensue, especially because Shu gets jealous lol :'D

As the usual canon events happen and the usual tense Shu-Yuma-Reiji stuff gets cleared up, Yui's been helping them out quite a lot, being the designated Person Who Can Understand and Communicate Feelings. She can say, "Shu feels like this, Yuma feels like this, you two should try to understand each other." When asked why she goes through all this trouble for idiots like them, Yui shyly says that she loves them both very much, and she wants them to get along.

Shu tries to brush this off, but Yuma mutters, "...I get it. I love you both too." and Shu's like "???????"

Of course this is news for Shu, who has loved them both deeply for a LONG TIME. And he's been repressing the fuck out of his feelings for years, because of that anxiety I mentioned before. But the two people he loves the most in the world have said that they love him.....?! They're both alive, and safe, and right in front of him, and they love him?

So he stumbles over his words for a while, and he's like "I love you too, I love you both so much." And Yui's confession had been characteristically sweet and kinda cheesy, and Yuma's had this kind of pointed tone like "this is embarrassing, hurry up and forget I'm saying this"...........so in comparison, Shu's confession sounds life-and-death serious. Yui and Yuma are kinda shocked. But now they all said it, they all meant it, so it's impossible to ignore now.

Still, I think whenever Shu says something romantic to them, Yuma gets embarrassed and tries to stop him lol. The two of them are really Yuma's weakness—if they flirt with him or look at him with puppy dog eyes or something, he'll fold right away, tell them to cut it out, and then do whatever they want xD

ANYWAY this is too obvious but Yuma can lift them both up at the same time, Yui in one arm and Shu in the other. ^_^ I imagine Yui's like "kyaaa this is embarrassing" but Shu just goes limp like a sack of potatoes lmao.

I really like the headcanon that Yui reintroduces religion back into Yuma's life in a way that resonates with him a lot more. Like Yui will talk about feeling close to God when she's with people she loves, and that she wants to thank God for those people. And Yuma will be laying with Yui and Shu in his arms, in a quiet moment, and he'll think, "...She's right, I feel it too."

I sat down by her side as she remained asleep,

taking care of her to the best of my abilities. 

Her hand which I held into mine,

radiated the warmth I love so much. 

I was overcome by a mixture of both happiness and sadness,

causing tears to naturally flow down my cheeks.

Even though I had taken my distance from her,

because I felt incredibly bad,

over forcing her to have to make such a dire choice...

After seeing her again for the first time in a while,

I was once again reminded,

of just how much I love her.

ーー I wonder,

what exactly should I do?

*Rustle* 

Kou: ...Don’t worry. I won’t leave your side...

...Yui...

( Calm down. She’s fine. Her hand still feels warm. )

( There’s no way she’d die...I’m here by her side. )

I can’t...I don’t want us to be apart after all...

I just can’t accept it...Why must we be separated...?

I mean...I thought that Subaru-kun...would be able to keep you safe but...

Monologue

I can hear the peaceful sound,

of birds chirping. 

I also recall the odd sensation,

of somebody holding onto my left hand.

But strangely enough, it doesn’t feel unpleasant.

And then,

a familiar scent enters my nose...ーー

ー Yui wakes up in her room in the Mukami manor

Yui: Uu...Where am I...?

Kou: ...Yui...!

Thank god...I’m truly so glad...to see you safe and well...!

Yui: ...Kou-kun...?

Kou-kun...! I-I...Uu...

Monologue

Kou-kun would use his index fingers,

to wipe away the tears streaming down my cheeks.

Once I had calmed down a few moments later,

I began to tell Kou-kun about what had happened so far,

in bits and pieces.

After we had found out,

that Subaru-kun’s mother, Christa-san,

had wandered off into the forest 

and was nowhere to be found,

all of us set out to look for her,

but none of us were successfull

so we had no other choice but to return to the Castle.

However ーー That was all a trap.

Once at the Castle,

the Vibora troops were awaiting our arrival,

to bring the Vampires down.

While Subaru-kun immediately took the lead,

and tried to fend them off,

he was unable to fully control his own powers,

sending the whole castle flying. 

The place I got blasted off to,

just so happened to be the gate,

connecting the Demon and the human world.

I couldn’t let myself get captured by the Vibora Clan again.

Besides, I already heard a rumor,

that you were in the human world.

ーー When I realized that,

I decided to return to the human world by myself.

Kou: ...So that’s what happened.

Yui: I’m sorry. In the end, I caused you trouble again...

Kou: ...It’s fine. As long as you’re safe...

It’s Subaru-kun I’m mad at!

Yui: Eh?

Kou: What do you mean, he couldn’t control his powers!?

I don’t really get why you went to be with Subaru-kun then in the first place!? 

On top of that, he couldn’t even ensure your safety!

Yui: K-Kou-kun! But Subaru-kun is also...Coff!

Kou: Ah, sorry! I’ll get you a glass of water right away!

ー He gets up but Yui stops him

*Rustle* 

Yui: ...Don’t go.

Please, Kou-kun. Stay with me...

( I just love him so much, I don’t want us to be apart. )

( I know I mustn’t, but the words just naturally come out. )

Kou: ...

*Rustle* 

Kou: Sorry for making you worried. I won’t go anywhere, okay?

I promise I won’t let go of this hand holding onto yours.

I’ll be with you forever. ...So for now, get plenty of rest, okay?

Yui: ...Yeah.

ー She closes her eyes

Yui: ( Thank you, Kou-kun. )

( Your kindness makes me more happy than anything... )

ー The scene shifts to Kou’s room

*Rustle* 

Kou: ...

( Yui...She seemed to have lost a lot of weight and her complexion was incredibly pale too... )

( I wonder how terrible her life at Eden must have been? )

( If only...I had made a different choice back then. )

...No, no. No point in beating myself up over the past now.

( Right now I should wait for information from my Familiar to get a better grasp on the situation in the Demon World. )

My biggest problem with Ayato is his stans. 😭

I don't mind if his stans want to make a thousand posts a day about how much they love him, but what does bother me is that they always try to throw in his face that he "is the only canonical/true route". I even read that "the real Yui" is only the Yui that appears in Ayato's routes. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I swear, his stans are so annoying. Yui is the "real Yui" in all the damn routes, NOT just Ayato's. All routes are equally canon because at the end of the day it's us fans who decide who we prefer to see Yui/MC with. In any case, Yui/MC loves all the guys in her harem in equal measure, there is nothing she has done or said for Ayato that she hasn't done or said for the other Diaboys. And in fact, she has died more times protecting Yuma than Ayato, (that's never mentioned by Ayato's stans, why is that?)

Something I can't stand either is that they say that Ayato's Dark Fate route "is the best route of all the games", literally in Dark Fate you have routes like Carla and Shin's, who are new characters and yet have better development and a much more interesting background than Ayato could have had in four games.

Same anon, same. (Wow… the statement about Yui 💀. The idolism got to that point? Come on 😅. And i thought the level of entitlement couldn’t surpass the “Ayato is the main character”.)

Though my problem with them is

1, They think they have the priviledge. To whitewash (idk how this word works yet, like is it only apply to skin color? Or does it mean “bleaching one’s wrong doing” too? I’m going with the 2nd one) their oshi; for example, “Ayato has never engaged in harmful coping mechanism and never project it on others.” In Bold. That’s blatant lie. Check out Sakamaki Saga for more detail plus his LE route too! I don’t remember much about HBD MB and DF but i think there are some. Mainly in the first two games.

While they reacted like sodium meeting water whenever the other boys did an equal bad thing. Some even make up tell tales about them. Way to go.

To say “not a positive opinion” about other boys, but non-Ayato fans can’t. “Ik everyone has their opinions but why don’t keep them to yourself if they’re not positive ones??? Don’t wonder why Ayato stans reacted that way because everyone would defend their fav Diaboy. Acting like he isn’t the Sakamaki most prone to put his life on the line for others pfft. Girl, you will obviously get such negative”reactions if you start drama. You claim you don’t want to but you did start it already because you spread hatred in this fandom with your “opinions”.

Lady and gentlemen, look at that mindset. These priviledged people allow themselves to shove fake facts into other people’s face. They be dissing your fav boys everyday and people applause them for that. Then when you raise your hand to voice out your not-a-one-way-tunnel thoughts, they brand it as “negative”. Why negative? Oh. Cuz you don’t support Ayato and put him on an altar; instead, you tell them that “Ayato’s at fault too”. That means you hate him right? You want to discredit him, right? You want to start drama, right?

2. Some of them just love to assume. Pulling things out of no where. If you have time do take a look at the previous asks on my blog. Oh my. If you say smth on the level of “perceiving” they’ll think that you’re “complaining” and attack you. And this one will be the complement for

3. They prone to put things in boxes. Because they don’t understand perceptions and perspectives, plus, they’re so used to reacting, they won’t be able to see that you’re only giving an opinion that could be the complement for their opinion to create a complete picture. They’ll think that you’re reacting. That you’re attacking them, their oshi, anything of such. So they attack you.

4. They value fairness, but only if Ayato’s in the picture. For all the rest… nope.

Prove is what you just said anon. “Ayato’s the real route”, “Yui’s the real Yui in Ayato’s route”, ect. I don’t have to say more than that.

(Oh your last statement. 🤔 True true some characters “have better development and a much more interesting background” plus mindset; AND, by “interesting” i don’t mean that i’m encouraging their twisted behaviours and wrong doings. Just that they would be fascinating subjects to do research on. This note is for the Ayato’s fan who haven’t been able to see things seperately yet so that they don’t jump onto me and attack me for things i never said. 👌

Though i barely check the T boys out… Maybe later. Carla’s question for Yui at the Tsukinami Prologue and for Subaru in Subaru DF pique my interest. Defi will read.)

“Alright class, there’s only a few more months until graduation which is why the faculty has already decided on the prom and what will be done for the event. But along with that, as I have mentioned earlier this year, there will be a dance and the faculty has already paired all of the students up. Wait here while I take the list from the faculty, okay? Behave.”

Excited murmurs can be heard throughout the room the moment your teacher leaves, your classmates all whispering on what the possible plans will be for the prom while you quietly listen in on your friends’ conversation. Not at all sure what you’re expecting for prom since the previous seniors didn’t have it.

“Y/N, who do you want to be partnered with for the dance?” Yui asks you, her fingers rhythmically tapping on your desk, the beats of the song that you’ve been practicing for a few days now resonating in your ears even with the excited murmurs in the room.

Looking up from your music sheet, you let out a shrug, unaware of a keen male trying to listen in on your conversation. “I don’t know, I’m not really expecting much-”

“C’mon! At least think of someone! You have to at least be a little excited for prom, right? We’re the first batch to experience it!” Haki exclaims, a pout on her lips as she leans closer to you, her hands grasping yours while Sara takes the music sheet from you in order to put it back in your bag.

Looking at your three friends, you can’t help but playfully roll your eyes at the sight of them all pouting at you. “I don’t know... I mean, I’ll be fine with anyone?”

“You have to be specific! Give us a name, Y/N! You can’t tell me that you’re not considering at least one of the boys who currently have a crush on you in our year, right?” Sara prods, listing off the handful of guys that asked you out this year.

Remembering the very awkward confessions, you cringe at the memory. “All of the guys that asked me out started ignoring me the moment they realized that my cousin is some gangster wannabe. Like, isn’t that ridiculous? The only guy that actually kept in contact with me is Hikaru and that’s because he moved on from his feelings for me.”

A snort leaves their mouths, remembering the days where you’ll come to school only to be avoided by the boys that confessed to you the previous day after your friends mentioned your cousin. “That is ridiculous, they’re scared of your cousin but they’re not scared of you? I mean, you kicked a lot of ass back in grade school!” Haki says, waving her fist around at the mention of your grade school years. It makes you cover your face with your hands, not at all wanting to remember those days.

“Yeah, little Y/N would go around punching and flipping bullies all day whenever they’d say one insult towards us. She’s like some mother hen.” Yui reminisces, her head instinctively falling on your shoulder as she wraps her arms around your own. “Y’know, if you weren’t a girl, I’d fall in love with you. You’re like a charming prince, always around to save the day, making my heart beat so fast. Ah~ Y/N-chan, I might fall in love with you~” Yui exclaims, exaggerating her voice while rubbing her cheeks with yours while your friends laugh.

"Oh yeah? Well I've already fallen in love with her BECAUSE she's a girl and is a prince charming at the same time." Haki butts in, trying her best to slot herself by your side while Yui pushes her off.

You’re compelled to laugh along, certainly enjoying the dramatics that your friends are putting on.

Now that your friends have made you think of potential dance partners, your mind can’t help but think of a certain dark haired boy sitting right beside you.

Even with the two months of casually ignoring him, for some reason, you still keep on taking note of everything about him. You still can’t help but list down the things that he mutters to himself when he’s resting his head on his table, all alone and just mumbling about the things that he needs to remember by dismissal. Leaving the note by his table right before you leave the classroom just because now, he’s not chatting with you on the way to the exit of the school, casually asking you about the things that he forgot throughout the day.

It’s probably just because you got used to him being with you everyday for four months. It’s probably just that, right?

You don’t have feelings for Shinichiro.

You don’t have feelings for the boy who constantly changes the girls that he dates every afternoon.

You don't have feelings for the boy who managed to make himself such a constant in your life in a matter of four months that now, you can’t even buy dinner in the night market without your mind pointing out his absence by your side.

You’re supposed to be happy that he backed off.

You’re supposed to be thrilled that you can now walk home alone without having to listen to motorcycle parts that you know nothing about.

But why are you so lonely now? Why is it that everytime you walk home alone, you can’t help but turn around and wish for someone to call for your name and ask if they can walk you home?

Your feelings for Shinichiro were only supposed to be a small crush. But crushes aren’t supposed to be this strong, right? A crush shouldn’t make you want to write a whole song just for him.  A crush shouldn’t be making you stay up all night, thinking about what he could be doing. Thinking about who he’s taking out on a date tonight or if he’s safe after hearing about another gang fight in the area.

A heavy sigh leaves your lips, ignorant to the curious looks coming from your friends and a certain seatmate of yours.

Thankfully, before anyone can question you, the door slides open, your teacher quickly making their way to the front of the room and clearing their throat so that they can start announcing the pairs.

You can feel your palms start to sweat, nervously licking your bottom lip as you look at your teacher who finally starts to look at the names on the piece of paper in their hands. “Alright class! You will be paired with your classmates but for those who won’t have partners will be paired with someone else from the other sections.”

Sucking in a deep breath, you accept Sara’s hand in yours, her smaller hands squeezing yours as she bites her lips while staring at the teacher. “My God, why does this feel like a life or death situation?” Yui asks the three of you, her hand in Haki’s who looks like she couldn’t care less even with her earlier excitement about prom.

The whole class quiets down the moment your teacher starts listing off the names.

A handful of names are listed off before your friends gasp to themselves after hearing their own names. Sara shakes your hands in excitement after finding out that she’s paired with one of her other friends while Yui gapes after hearing her paired off with the smarter guy in class.

“I must be lucky!” You hear Yui mutter to herself while eyeing the guy that she’s paired with.

“Quiet!” Haki gently jabs Yui on the side, the both of you still intently listening to your teacher list off the names while Haki’s hand is in yours since the two of you still haven’t heard your names.

Unintentionally, your heart leaps when you hear his name being called.

“Sano and... “ Squinting her eyes, your teacher takes a few more seconds to announce the next name, your heart rapidly beating in your chest when you unconsciously look at Shinichiro beside you only for your gaze to quickly be directed back to the teacher when you meet his eyes. Completely not ready to be making eye contact with him.

“Sorry, the print got smudged but Sano will be with Kaneko. And for the last pair, Akashi and L/N.”

And just like that, your heart drops.

Swallowing hard, you take a look beside you when you feel Haki let go of your hand. “The universe must be joking.” She mutters in her hands, shaking her head in disbelief when she takes a glance beside you. “Why am I paired with Sano of all people?” The distaste in Haki’s tone almost made you laugh if it weren’t for the heavy feeling in your chest right now, a hint of disappointment starting to spread throughout your body even when you try to convince yourself that being paired with Akashi Takeomi is better than Sano Shinichiro.

You should be happy right?

You’re not paired with the playboy that you asked to ever so kindly stop being friendly with you.

But you don’t think you can continue to lie to yourself the more you think about it.

You’re so jealous even if you don’t want to be.

Yui and Sara laugh at Haki’s disgruntled expression, your friend still muttering to herself in distaste. “How am I supposed to dance with that guy when I always feel the urge to punch him in the face everytime I see him?”

A snort leaves Sara’s lips when she looks over at Shinichiro’s direction only to see the boy already on the other side of the room, talking with Akashi. “Looks like he’s also quite unhappy with your arrangement.”

Huffing, Haki rolls her eyes. “Well, I’m going to do something about it. Y/N, hey.” Nudging you on the arm, you’re forced to look up at her since she’s already standing in front of your desk. “You and Sano are on good terms right? He hasn’t asked you out yet or anything?”

You slowly nod your head.

Shinichiro, technically, hasn’t asked you out since you already rejected him before he can even do anything. As for being on good terms, compared to the other girls in the class, you’re the only girl that he can actually talk to now without receiving a cold glare or roll of the eyes, so that can be taken as you being on good terms with him, right?

“Good, you don’t mind if we trade right? Unless you want Akashi as your partner?”

Looking over your shoulder, you’re met with Akashi Takeomi nodding at you, a small smile on his lips before he goes back to talking to Shinichiro. “I mean, I don’t mind?”

Taking that as your answer, Haki quickly bounds over to your teacher.

It only takes a few minutes of convincing for the teacher to sigh at Haki’s adamant pushing. Shaking her head, the teacher sends Haki back to her seat behind you before taking a pen and writing on the piece of paper. With a hand on her temple, the teacher stands up again to get everyone’s attention. “Okay class, there will be some changes for the partners. Kaneko will be Akashi’s partner while Sano and L/N will partner up.”

At that, a wave of complaints rose in the room only for your teacher to wave her hand around while shaking her head. “No! No more changing of partners! I only let this one pass since Kaneko-” Your teacher gives a stern look at Haki. “Mentioned about some violent urges that will be acted upon if she were to not change partners. But for all of you, you will be complying with the list. No more Buts!”

“I still can’t believe that you managed to convince Takeda-sensei. Your skills are out of this world Haki!” Sara praises your friend as the four of you are starting to pack your things for the day.

You still can’t believe how things turned out.

One second you were silently sulking on how Sano Shinichiro isn’t your dance partner but the next second, you’re now nervously thinking about how you’re going to handle being Sano Shinichiro’s dance partner.

Are you excited or nervous?

Do you want to be Sano’s partner?

What if it gets awkward?

“Hey Y/N, you sure that you don’t want to join us? We’re just gonna get some cakes in the new cafe downtown.” Yui asks you one last time as she waits for Sara and Haki by the door, the classroom almost empty now except for your friends and a couple other students cleaning up.

“You should join, I heard that the coffee there is really good.” Haki mentions just as she closes her bag. “It’s also been awhile since you hung out with us since you’re so busy with your job.”

“Yeah, you’re getting real close with those kids you’re babysitting.” Sara mutters.

Letting out a sigh, you mentally check your plans for today.

You don’t have to go to the dojo today since grandpa said that he’ll be attending some sort of event for the Martial Arts Instructors for Shibuya but you were planning on practicing the new song that you wrote at home.

But looking at your friends, you realize that it has been quite awhile since you last hung out with them. So, with a sheepish smile, you nod your head. “Sure, I guess it has been awhile since we hung out right?”

Cheering, your friends start pulling you outside of the room, their hands gripping onto your wrist as they make it to the hallway only to be stopped by Sano Shinichiro awkwardly standing in the middle of the hallway while staring at his feet.

Hearing your friends’ chattering, Shinichiro quickly looks up at you, a gleam in his eyes as he approaches you. “Um, Y/N, do you think I can talk to you for a second?”

Your friends skid to a stop, all of them giving Shinichiro a glare as they blocked you away from him even though you tower over them by a few inches. “What do you want with Y/N, Sano? You trying to play your games with her? What, you want me to slap you again? You think you can play with my Y/N?” Haki asks, aggression clearly radiating off of her form as she glares at an awkward Shinichiro who’s looking at you like he’s asking for help.

“If you even try to play with Y/N, just know that she knows martial arts and will not hesitate to kick your ass! She may look like a sweet angel ‘cause she is but she is also a good fighter!” Yui adds on while tightly gripping onto your arm.

Lastly, Sara walks over to Shinichiro and harshly jabs his chest. “You trying to steal my wife? Huh? Just ‘cause you’re her dance partner doesn’t mean that you can just start casually hanging out with her, Sano. I don’t care if you have a gang, I’ll slap all of you if you even dare to touch my Y/N-”

Embarrassed at the overprotectiveness, you gather your friends beside you, wrapping your arms around them just so that they won’t be able to attack Shinichiro. “It’s okay, you don’t have to fight him or the Black Dragon, okay? You don’t have to protect me.” You tell them, trying your best to calm them down. “You don’t have to beat anyone up, I can do that myself so just let me handle this, okay?”

Like tiny chicks, your friends all look up at you while nodding their heads in sync. Patting their heads, you turn back to Shinichiro who looks like he’s about to get into a gang fight with how pale he looks. “Sorry about that Sano, what do you need?”

“Um, I was going to ask if I can accompany you home?”

Raising your brows, you lightly tighten your hold on your friends’ wrists when you feel them tug on it. “Why?”

“I wanted to talk to you about something. Clear things up... “ Shinichiro mumbles, hand unconsciously going to his nape as he scratches it to alleviate the edge in his body now that he’s actually in front of you.

Humming, you give your friends a look before slowly letting them go. “Sure, I don’t see why not.”
