Ok I need to know more about the Skyrim AU👀

YES, I LOVE GETTING TO YELL ABOUT THIS ONE.

Honestly, Skyrim is probably my favorite game, I've been playing it since day one, and can't put it down - so naturally, I needed an au with a similar concept. But ALSO, I've merged in some inspiration from FFXIV as well. What can I say? I like great content.

ANYWAY.

We have the Line of Durin as being capable of possessing "dragon blood", which was first bestowed upon Durin the Deathless, after he made a pact with a dragon many many many years ago.

The legends of that tale, and the ability of those who are capable of possessing the dragon blood, are to be passed down from generation to generation, and those tales stopped at Thror. He didn't pass on the knowledge, as there was no need for it - also, many just thought it was a legend. But when Smaug came, it turned out to be anything but legend - and Thorin, who showed the signs, had no idea what to do with it, and Erebor was taken.

Flash forward to Ered Luin, Thror dead, Thrain into the unknown, and darker minds looking to Erebor, Gandalf is set on having Thorin defeat the dragon before Smaug does any further damage to middle earth, or allies with "Bad Folks".

Instead of your typical AUJ style beginning, it's Thorin who gets greeted by a wizard, and ends up with an unexpected guest in his house - a knowledgable and adventurous hobbit who just so happens to study old dwarvish lore, including that of the "dragonborn" (i'll come up with a name for this) and their abilities.

Gandalf believes Bilbo can teach and train Thorin to hone his abilities in order to kill Smaug, and it goes as well as you can imagine. Bilbo isn't just a scholar, in this AU I think hobbits should be capable of different magic elements, similarly to The Elder Scrolls. Being a Took definitely enhances that, and being a Baggins also diminishes it - so he struggles, and grows into it as well. So they both get to learn about themselves along a journey!!!

Pulling him into an alleyway one night on the way home from the Elfsong because you can see how badly he's craving in the way he can't keep his eyes off of the pulse point in your neck. He seizes your arm with both hands (can I? Yes-), bringing the soft skin on the inside of your wrist to his lips. He has just enough presence of mind to kiss the heel of your hand distractedly before he bites, fangs sliding through your skin and into the vein. The sound he makes can only be described as a growl, something feral and possessive (and you'll never tell him that it turns you on, since he would be insufferable about it- a promise to yourself that lasts exactly as long as the space between the moment and the next time you're tipsy and want him).

Controversial opinion:

I think we're missing out on a lot of amazing art by focusing on drag primarily as a performance of femininity. I know a handful of drag kings and drag performers (whose acts lean more towards 'creature' or 'concept') who are often less booked than queens because there is a preference.

And because they are less often booked, people see them less, people dont realize it's an option, and people who would LOVE to do drag but dont see their kinds of acts performed dont do them.

I think we miss out.

Another Hydra prompt! Because I am enjoying the designs I’ve made lol. And perhaps it’s a bit inspired by @radiance1 ‘s different dragon prompts too. 

So they’ve succeeded! They’ve managed to combine their powers- with a bit of shapeshifting helped along by so many ghost allies- and become a giant duck-you dragon! Well, originally they were going to do something else, but they couldn’t agree on an animal, so dragon it was! 

And how mighty they are! They’re giant, absolutely massive- dwarfing the couple of skyscrapers still in Amity. Damages via ghost attacks and general sparring made it where people really didn’t want to rebuild those types of buildings. 

But anyway, dragon! Them! They’re absolutely stunning! And did they mention powerful? Because boy oh boy, are they powerful. The GIW’s guns do practically nothing against their combined might, and barriers shatter before them! 

The uh, issue is that they erm… can’t turn back. Which is fine, they’ve all sort of outlived most of their generation- thank you possessions and ecto-contamination, it’s just a tiny bit of an adjustment. But really it’s not too bad, and someone needs to stop the GIW from trying to poke their heads into Amity. Like it’s been a solid couple of generations, it’s time to stop, thanks. 

Actually they’ve been a bit quiet. Meh, that surely isn’t a problem. Probably. Honestly they’re all going to use the opportunity to sprawl out where the school yard once was, their favorite place to sun their scales. Huh. Usually more people are around now that they think about it- or really, as Paulina points out, sharpening her fangs on one of the rocks.

How long had they been sleeping, because it couldn’t have been that long. One of them was always awake, they slept in shifts after all! Yet there are things missing now as they patrol the skies, both Wes and Tucker pointing out specific buildings that the others didn’t particularly notice usually that now lay empty. 

Hm. 

Oh. That is a… strong barrier there. A really strong barrier actually. Pfft, they can take it! They’ve shredded every barrier together before- Ow.

Price: It genuinely does not matter to Price whether you’re chubby or not. However, if you are chubby, then you better believe this man will not leave you alone. He loves you so dearly, he just wants to be with you whenever he can. And if you’re chubby? Oh, he’s never letting you go. He’s gonna hold onto you like a koala because you’re honestly just so precious. Will put his head on your tummy and use it as a pillow. This is an incentive for you to run your fingers through his hair so he may snooze for a little bit. If anyone ever dared to make fun of you for your size then he will throw hands. He’s a captain, he demands respect wherever he goes, so naturally the same goes for you as his partner. That fucker will end up with a broken nose, if not with a few broken ribs as well. And when you’re home? He’s gonna make you a nice and lovely meal. I feel as though once he’s gotten a taste of your chubby self he would become someone who genuinely likes chubby people. He’d love to pick you up and throw you onto the bed or couch just to hold onto you. He’s probably gonna learn how to become an even better cook just to be able to cook you nice meals and keep you nice and fed. It’s his way of saying “You’re so fucking gorgeous, I love you, please never change”. And if it comes from Ghost you know it’s genuine. If anyone ever hurts you then he’s going to plan their murder in his head the second those insults leave their mouth. You’d need to hold him back so he doesn’t just kill that asshole. When you get home you can count on him being all over you, kissing you oh so gently everywhere you let him. He’s gonna do everything he can to make you feel like the royalty you actually are. You’re precious, you’re wonderful, he loves you. All those things are final. Besides, no one would ever dare to make fun of him for having some chub, right? So why would they make fun of you? Ghost usually isn’t a man of many words, but he’ll say whatever comes to mind to help you feel better. Overall, I kind of feel as though you’d help him feel better about himself as well. He’s not self conscious about his tummy per se, but you being chubby yourself, and him being so attracted to you and loving you this much, makes him feel better about himself.
