you chuckle “Well yeah it’s late. It’ll come in a bit” Shifting down the bench a little to make room, you pat the now-empty spot beside you. With a smile, you look up at the young Wayne “Come sit down. It probably won’t be here for another fifteen minutes.” He does so without a second thought. You move closer for warmth, and he’s quick to notice. He shuffles the coat of his body and drapes it over yours. You mumble a small ‘thank you’.

You two sit in comfortable silence. With your head placed on his shoulder and fingers linked together. Minutes passed, and the big vehicle stopped in front of you. The door opens, a few people get off and you get up from your spot—Damian follows quickly as you lead him inside the bus. You pay for the both of you and he gives you a look.

“I could’ve paid”

“You don’t have a bus pass” he stays quiet as you drag him to the back. Some people are giving him looks, they recognize him. He knows they do and all he can do is glare off their glances. It works for the most part—but from the corner of his eye, a few of them pull out their phones.

He holds back his outburst. Damian doesn’t want to make a scene, especially one out in public. He doesn’t care much about it, but it’s completely different when you’re with him. For your sake, he stays silent and takes a seat beside you in the back of the bus. His knees bump up against yours.

The bus starts to move. Your head falls back to his shoulders. “I had fun today” you yawn “but I’m exhausted”

“I’m glad you did beloved” his head leans down—kissing the crown of your head as you lace your fingers once more “But if you were exhausted, pennyworth would have been able to pick us up”

“Let the old men rest. He needs it” You close your eyes “Plus I like spending time with you, even if it’s for a few more minutes just to get home” Damian hums.

IF THERE WAS ONE THING you treasured more than your stash of shoes, it would be the stuffed bunny doll that Yujin gave you during his confession. A pink, soft plush (you named him Carrot) with a white bow wrapped around its neck. You still remembered the day he gave it to you, after school with trembling hands as he rapped out his confession, eyes looking everywhere but you. You remember accepting it shyly, face feeling hot as it implied that you like him back.

That was three months ago.

Now, it seems that you grew very attached to the doll, not being able to sleep without it. So much so that you brought it with you during your Valentine's sleepover with Yujin.

Yujin had begged asked his mother to let him invite you to his house for a sleepover as his valentines day surprise. You were excited, and thankfully, your parents had let you come. The day was perfect in your eyes. You arrived in the evening and played video games with him and his brother until dinner time. Then, you had dinner with his parents. A bit of silence passed as you basked in his warmth before you broke it, face looking up at him.

He let out a hm? as a reply.
